- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hawkerel Energy Podcast. I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is
- 0:19Speaker 1: your weekly reminder that it's.
- 0:20Speaker 2: A new day, a new week, a new.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Mindset, and another day. If you'd become the hawkral energy
- 0:25Speaker 1: you want to attract.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Hello you guys.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Happy twenty twenty five. We are officially entering a new
- 0:33Speaker 1: year and I am so excited to see how things
- 0:38Speaker 1: play out for this year. I hope you guys had
- 0:41Speaker 1: the most amazing holiday. I definitely took a much needed
- 0:45Speaker 1: break for the past two weeks. I had a lot
- 0:48Speaker 1: of family time, a lot of friend time, and it
- 0:51Speaker 1: was much needed just to kind of step away from work.
- 0:54Speaker 1: But I think one thing that a lot of you
- 0:56Speaker 1: probably already knew that I mentioned in previous episodes or
- 0:59Speaker 1: if you follow me on social media, you guys know
- 1:01Speaker 1: that I wanted to do a complete reset of my
- 1:04Speaker 1: entire home, which felt so freaking good to do. And
- 1:08Speaker 1: let me tell you, the house feels brand freaking new.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Every cabinet has been clean inch to inch. I think
- 1:15Speaker 1: I had over i want to say, like eight garbage
- 1:18Speaker 1: bags of clothes that I donated. I also had over
- 1:21Speaker 1: eight garbage bags of just random crap that we didn't need.
- 1:25Speaker 1: So this is just your reminder that if you haven't
- 1:26Speaker 1: done a deep clean or an organization kind of day,
- 1:30Speaker 1: for you to go through your entire house or your
- 1:32Speaker 1: entire room just get rid of things.
- 1:34Speaker 2: This is your sign to do so.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Because it felt so good to declutter and just organize
- 1:38Speaker 1: all the spaces in our house. Because now I feel
- 1:40Speaker 1: like going into twenty twenty five, everything feels organized, everything
- 1:43Speaker 1: feels free, fresh, It just feels almost like a fresh start.
- 1:47Speaker 1: So I hope you guys enjoyed the last moments of
- 1:50Speaker 1: twenty twenty four and you're already enjoying the beginning of
- 1:53Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. So I just want to chat about
- 1:56Speaker 1: a few things that we talked about in the latest
- 1:58Speaker 1: episode and almost a little reminders of things that you
- 2:01Speaker 1: can do within these next few weeks. So if you
- 2:03Speaker 1: haven't done your vision board, for an example, it's never
- 2:06Speaker 1: too late to do so, but definitely find time throughout
- 2:08Speaker 1: this month to do it, because this is truly the
- 2:11Speaker 1: most motivational tool to use going into a new year.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I find it allows you to really plan out what
- 2:18Speaker 1: you want your year to look like and just goals
- 2:20Speaker 1: that you want to set, and it really just motivates
- 2:23Speaker 1: yourself to achieve those things for yourself. So all in all,
- 2:26Speaker 1: I think you should really take the time to do
- 2:28Speaker 1: a vision board because it really is motivational for people
- 2:31Speaker 1: that want to achieve certain things for themselves. But anyways,
- 2:34Speaker 1: I wanted to bring that up quickly because we've chatted
- 2:36Speaker 1: about that a lot within the last few weeks of December.
- 2:40Speaker 1: But I'm just bringing this in to remind you guys
- 2:43Speaker 1: to do so if you haven't, because let's be honest,
- 2:46Speaker 1: January is the month of motivation.
- 2:48Speaker 2: In my opinion.
- 2:49Speaker 1: You're entering a new year, you're feeling like it's a
- 2:52Speaker 1: fresh start. For some people, it could be adding new
- 2:54Speaker 1: habits into your daily routine. For others, it could be
- 2:57Speaker 1: keeping the same habits but making improvements or being consistent
- 3:00Speaker 1: more with certain habits that you might not be doing
- 3:02Speaker 1: all the time. I know for me, you know, there's
- 3:04Speaker 1: definitely things that I've always slacked on for certain habits
- 3:07Speaker 1: that I'm trying to get back into that I want
- 3:09Speaker 1: to be consistent with throughout the rest of the year
- 3:12Speaker 1: of twenty twenty five. So January is the month where
- 3:15Speaker 1: I feel like, there's so much motivation, there's so much
- 3:18Speaker 1: joy in wanting to achieve those things for yourself. So
- 3:21Speaker 1: take this episode as your tool to get that motivation
- 3:25Speaker 1: and get into those healthy habits that you've been wanting
- 3:27Speaker 1: to do for twenty twenty five. I've run this up
- 3:29Speaker 1: a few times. But another thing going into the new
- 3:31Speaker 1: year I think that everyone needs to keep in mind
- 3:34Speaker 1: is doing things out of your comfort zone, trying new things.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Of course, trying something different is good, and it feels
- 3:41Speaker 1: weird and it feels uncomfortable, but in the long run,
- 3:44Speaker 1: it is worth it. Because one thing that I remember
- 3:47Speaker 1: doing in the beginning of twenty twenty four was reformer plates.
- 3:51Speaker 1: That was something that I was very uncomfortable doing because
- 3:54Speaker 1: I was kind of afraid of the machine. And I
- 3:56Speaker 1: feel like that's very normal for a lot of people,
- 3:58Speaker 1: is just to be like kind of uncomfortable with trying
- 4:01Speaker 1: something completely new, not understanding the machine obviously, like being
- 4:05Speaker 1: in front of a group class, like you feel embarrassed,
- 4:07Speaker 1: you don't know what you're doing. You don't want to
- 4:09Speaker 1: look like you're again not knowing what you're doing with
- 4:12Speaker 1: the reformer plates. But they have beginner classes all that,
- 4:16Speaker 1: so that's what I did. And then once I became
- 4:18Speaker 1: comfortable with the machine and started to understand the workouts,
- 4:21Speaker 1: you know, I started going more consistently, I started to
- 4:24Speaker 1: enjoy it. I then started to see results, and now
- 4:26Speaker 1: it's completely changed my life. And you know, I feel
- 4:29Speaker 1: like my body feels more defined, I feel more confident
- 4:32Speaker 1: in my body all that. So that's just an example
- 4:35Speaker 1: of something that was something that was out of my
- 4:37Speaker 1: comfort zone that I didn't really want to do in
- 4:41Speaker 1: the beginning because it was something new. But I'm happy
- 4:43Speaker 1: I pushed myself to do it because it's something that
- 4:46Speaker 1: I've been consistent with and it's something that I love,
- 4:48Speaker 1: and it's something that I'm you know, going to continue
- 4:51Speaker 1: doing for twenty twenty five. Do things out of your
- 4:53Speaker 1: comfort zone. Try new things. If there's something that you've
- 4:55Speaker 1: been wanting to do that you've been kind of putting
- 4:57Speaker 1: on the back burner because you're scared or you're embarrassed,
- 5:00Speaker 1: just do it. Nobody's watching you. Everyone is focusing on themselves.
- 5:03Speaker 1: No one is paying attention to anybody else. So don't
- 5:06Speaker 1: even worry about that. Just be there for you. Choose you,
- 5:10Speaker 1: take care of you, and do the things that truly
- 5:12Speaker 1: make you happy. So those are your little reminders of
- 5:14Speaker 1: going into twenty twenty five.
- 5:16Speaker 2: I truly do think it's going to be such an
- 5:18Speaker 2: amazing year.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I've been feeling just so motivated and just really wanting
- 5:21Speaker 1: to achieve a lot of big things with my business
- 5:25Speaker 1: and with the podcast and with influencing, and with life
- 5:29Speaker 1: and with my husband, like just traveling more all that.
- 5:32Speaker 2: So I'm so excited.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Doing my vision board really just got me in the
- 5:36Speaker 1: fields and got me so excited for this new year.
- 5:39Speaker 1: So it's always fun looking at those images and really
- 5:42Speaker 1: just looking forward to a year ahead. If you guys,
- 5:45Speaker 1: remember I did bring something up in the previous episodes
- 5:49Speaker 1: about a project that I've been working on these past
- 5:52Speaker 1: few months, and if you know, you know, if you don't,
- 5:57Speaker 1: I have been kind of doing some sneak peeks throughout TikTok,
- 6:01Speaker 1: throughout Instagram stories all that, and guys, when I tell you,
- 6:04Speaker 1: I have never received so many messages in my life
- 6:08Speaker 1: about an Instagram story. Okay I'm talking over I want
- 6:12Speaker 1: to say over three hundred and fifty dms, not even
- 6:14Speaker 1: over exaggerating about this one story. And I was so
- 6:18Speaker 1: shocked because I was like, why is this going so crazy?
- 6:21Speaker 1: Like I've never seen so many people want a link
- 6:24Speaker 1: to something so badly, which made me feel so good
- 6:27Speaker 1: because it was something that I put a lot of
- 6:28Speaker 1: work into these past few months with another brand that
- 6:32Speaker 1: I'm collaborating with, and the.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Secret is out.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I am launching a journal and planner and it's all
- 6:39Speaker 1: in one so basically a journal and planner all in
- 6:42Speaker 1: one spot for you to do everything on one daily page.
- 6:45Speaker 1: So I have been journaling and planning for many years.
- 6:48Speaker 1: As you guys know, I love using a physical planner.
- 6:50Speaker 1: It's just something that I always do into my morning routine.
- 6:53Speaker 1: And when I met with this girl before the wedding,
- 6:56Speaker 1: to be honest, we were talking about doing a wellness planner,
- 7:00Speaker 1: which I thought, you know, that's great, but I'm like,
- 7:02Speaker 1: is there a way that we could bring this wellness
- 7:04Speaker 1: planner into a journal as well? Like can we make
- 7:07Speaker 1: one into both? And she said absolutely, like let's do it.
- 7:11Speaker 1: So we were planning a bit of it before the wedding,
- 7:13Speaker 1: but obviously the wedding became extremely time consuming and I said, listen, like,
- 7:17Speaker 1: I got to push this back, I got to really
- 7:19Speaker 1: focus on this. So when I came home from my
- 7:21Speaker 1: wedding in September, we started to actually plan out everything,
- 7:25Speaker 1: every detail, every page, everything that I wanted to go
- 7:28Speaker 1: into this planner, the color, the visual look of it,
- 7:31Speaker 1: and we have finally brought it to life and it
- 7:34Speaker 1: is everything that I wanted and more and it truly
- 7:37Speaker 1: is the best planner in journal that I've ever gotten
- 7:40Speaker 1: my hands on, in my opinion, like, I love it.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Everything about it is just so good. There's a weekly
- 7:45Speaker 1: meal planner for you to use. There's days of the week,
- 7:48Speaker 1: so from Monday to Sunday you can put each meal
- 7:50Speaker 1: that you're making for the week, whether it's dinners or
- 7:53Speaker 1: lunches or breakfast ideas. And then there's a page where
- 7:56Speaker 1: you can actually make a grocery list. And then on
- 7:59Speaker 1: the other page it's like a weekly prep so everything
- 8:02Speaker 1: that you have to prep for the week, or just
- 8:03Speaker 1: there's goals for the week that you have for your
- 8:06Speaker 1: business or personal goals, or you could write like you know,
- 8:10Speaker 1: meetings or appointments that you have for the week. It's
- 8:12Speaker 1: basically just a mini detailed sheet of writing down appointments, meetings,
- 8:16Speaker 1: all that for each day of the week. But it
- 8:17Speaker 1: doesn't look like a calendar, it's more of like a
- 8:19Speaker 1: one page thing. I'll show more visuals on my Instagram
- 8:22Speaker 1: so you guys can see physically what those pages look like.
- 8:25Speaker 1: And then there's also like a little checklist, so like
- 8:27Speaker 1: a little Sunday resets, almost like little reminders on how
- 8:30Speaker 1: to reset before going into a new week. And then
- 8:33Speaker 1: there's daily pages. So each page is a journal and
- 8:36Speaker 1: planner in one. So in the beginning, there's a little
- 8:38Speaker 1: checklist for morning and night, so in the morning hydrating, journal,
- 8:42Speaker 1: movement for PM, cleanup, reading.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Whatever the case may be.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Like, it's just like little checklists that you can check
- 8:48Speaker 1: off of reminders that you could do throughout the day.
- 8:51Speaker 1: And then we have things that you're grateful for, your
- 8:53Speaker 1: self care, act of the day, all that, and then
- 8:55Speaker 1: you go into the planner aspect, which allows you to
- 8:58Speaker 1: write down your top priorities, your secondary task, and then
- 9:02Speaker 1: a whole area where you can write your schedule. Even
- 9:05Speaker 1: you can add the time from am to PM and
- 9:08Speaker 1: then check off, which I find so satisfying when you
- 9:11Speaker 1: can check things off when you've completed a task. So
- 9:14Speaker 1: it is literally perfection. The color is a cherry red,
- 9:18Speaker 1: which I find is so in right now, and it's
- 9:20Speaker 1: actually a patent leather, so it literally looks like it
- 9:23Speaker 1: could be a purse. It's so good, guys, So if
- 9:27Speaker 1: you want to get your hands on it, I highly
- 9:29Speaker 1: recommend doing so. It's the perfect start to the new
- 9:32Speaker 1: year to buy a journal or planner. And I'm a
- 9:34Speaker 1: big physical planner kind of person. Having everything written down
- 9:38Speaker 1: just allows me to remember things better and I just
- 9:40Speaker 1: find it very satisfying too. As I said, just kind
- 9:43Speaker 1: of like check things off and constantly review it. It
- 9:46Speaker 1: just allows me to remember things and just get shit
- 9:49Speaker 1: done basically, So I'm so excited about it. I'm collaborating
- 9:51Speaker 1: with a brand called Still, which is a Vancouver based company,
- 9:55Speaker 1: so I'm very happy that she's also Canadian based, so
- 9:57Speaker 1: it's kind of nice to collaborate with another Canadian brand.
- 10:00Speaker 1: And there'll be more details on my Instagram this week,
- 10:03Speaker 1: so stay tuned for that. We will be having I
- 10:06Speaker 1: believe a pre order that will be happening I think
- 10:09Speaker 1: next week, and then I believe the launch is in
- 10:13Speaker 1: two weeks, so I don't have exact dates yet, but
- 10:16Speaker 1: we'll get back to you on that. But you guys
- 10:18Speaker 1: heard it here first. I'm so excited and I think
- 10:22Speaker 1: you guys will love it, and I think you guys
- 10:24Speaker 1: need it. So if you need a new planner for
- 10:26Speaker 1: twenty twenty five and a journal, it's all in one
- 10:29Speaker 1: and you guys can get it at still, So stay
- 10:32Speaker 1: tuned for that and I will provide more updates on Instagram.
- 10:34Speaker 1: In today's episode, we are talking about the twenty twenty
- 10:38Speaker 1: five ins and outs, and I really wanted to talk
- 10:40Speaker 1: about this because this is something that I always love
- 10:43Speaker 1: reflecting on and just kind of seeing things that I
- 10:47Speaker 1: want to get into this year, or things that I
- 10:49Speaker 1: personally think are going to be in for twenty twenty five,
- 10:51Speaker 1: and just talking about outs of things that we need
- 10:54Speaker 1: to stop doing or things that I need to personally
- 10:56Speaker 1: stop doing that I want to be out for twenty
- 10:59Speaker 1: twenty five. And yeah, so we're just going to get
- 11:01Speaker 1: into detail of that. So before I get into these
- 11:04Speaker 1: ins and outs, we did have a giveaway last episode.
- 11:07Speaker 1: I did message the winner, but if you haven't seen
- 11:11Speaker 1: my message, Julianna Schmidt, thank you so much for entering.
- 11:14Speaker 1: You have won the one hundred dollars Amazon gift card.
- 11:17Speaker 1: So I've already sent her a message and just wanted
- 11:19Speaker 1: to let you guys know that that has been dealt with.
- 11:23Speaker 1: So that has been selected. But let's get into today's
- 11:27Speaker 1: episode of twenty twenty five ins and outs. The first
- 11:31Speaker 1: twenty twenty five in is early mornings and early nights.
- 11:34Speaker 1: If you want to be a morning girly, you need
- 11:36Speaker 1: to have an early night routine. It's just the reality.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I personally go to bed at ten PM, sometimes nine thirty,
- 11:43Speaker 1: sometimes nine to be honest, usually nine thirty is like
- 11:47Speaker 1: my happy spot. I feel like when I know I'm
- 11:49Speaker 1: waking up super early the next day. If it's like
- 11:52Speaker 1: a five am morning, I am going to bed at
- 11:54Speaker 1: nine thirty like no if ants or butts, everything is
- 11:56Speaker 1: shut off. I Am going to bed. But what people
- 11:59Speaker 1: don't realize that if you want to be that five
- 12:01Speaker 1: am or six am girly consistently, not just one morning
- 12:05Speaker 1: like consistently, if you want to wake up every single
- 12:07Speaker 1: morning having an early morning routine, then you have to
- 12:11Speaker 1: adapt a earlier at night routine. It's just the reality.
- 12:13Speaker 1: So I do truly think this is an end for
- 12:16Speaker 1: twenty twenty five because I've mentioned it before. I do
- 12:19Speaker 1: find you are more productive throughout the day when you
- 12:21Speaker 1: do have a consistent morning and night routine and a
- 12:24Speaker 1: consistent alarm. Essentially right, like you wake up at the
- 12:27Speaker 1: same time, you go to bed at the same time.
- 12:29Speaker 1: It allows you to feel more awake in the morning
- 12:31Speaker 1: when you do wake up early, because it's consistent, like
- 12:33Speaker 1: you're consistently waking up at the same time, so when
- 12:36Speaker 1: you do wake up, it doesn't feel as exhausting. And
- 12:39Speaker 1: then again same thing, when you're going to bed at
- 12:41Speaker 1: a certain time, your body naturally just gets tired at
- 12:43Speaker 1: that time because you've consistently gone.
- 12:46Speaker 2: To bed around that time. So just being.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Overall consistent with an early morning and night routine, and
- 12:52Speaker 1: I just feel like you're going to feel more productive,
- 12:54Speaker 1: your energy levels are going to be higher, There's going
- 12:56Speaker 1: to be so many more benefits, and I think more
- 12:58Speaker 1: people are going to be adapting this into their lifestyle
- 13:01Speaker 1: because it truly is a game changer. Another thing that
- 13:03Speaker 1: I think is an n for twenty twenty five is
- 13:06Speaker 1: buying less but spending more money on high quality items,
- 13:10Speaker 1: so quality over quantity. This is kind of a prime
- 13:13Speaker 1: example of fast fashion. For an example, so looking at
- 13:17Speaker 1: websites like sene or Timu or I don't even know
- 13:21Speaker 1: what's another one that people buy from that's fast maybe
- 13:24Speaker 1: like Fashion Nova. I don't know those. I'm trying to
- 13:27Speaker 1: avoid purchasing from completely, and I think a lot of
- 13:29Speaker 1: people should do the same. A. It supports things that
- 13:33Speaker 1: we don't want to support, and B it's just not
- 13:38Speaker 1: good quality things. It truly isn't Like I feel like
- 13:40Speaker 1: I look back at my high school days or college
- 13:42Speaker 1: days and I was buying this really cheap clothing just
- 13:45Speaker 1: because obviously it was super cheap. You know, everyone is
- 13:48Speaker 1: on a budget. Sometimes I totally get it, and they
- 13:51Speaker 1: had great going out tops or summer tops. I literally
- 13:54Speaker 1: got rid of every single fast fashion item I purchased
- 13:58Speaker 1: from years ago.
- 13:59Speaker 2: That was all put in.
- 14:00Speaker 1: A garbage bag this week, and it made me realize
- 14:02Speaker 1: how important it actually is to spend that extra money
- 14:06Speaker 1: on those designer items or on those items that you
- 14:09Speaker 1: actually physically want, because it creates longevity of how the quality.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Of the product is.
- 14:15Speaker 1: There's so many items that I've purchased from a Ritzia
- 14:18Speaker 1: or certain brands from Revolve, or certain sweaters, or just
- 14:21Speaker 1: like even the quality of certain things like cashmere or
- 14:26Speaker 1: just certain nets that you purchase from certain companies, and
- 14:28Speaker 1: how some of them that I purchased like four years
- 14:31Speaker 1: ago still look brand new and I'm still wearing to
- 14:34Speaker 1: this day. Same thing with denim, purchasing good quality denim.
- 14:38Speaker 1: I know it sucks when you're spending a high price
- 14:40Speaker 1: point for a pair of genes, but sometimes it is
- 14:43Speaker 1: worth it. Jeans or a type of style that is
- 14:46Speaker 1: pretty consistent. Of course, sometimes it changes with like you know,
- 14:49Speaker 1: mid rise, low rise, high rise, bootcut, straight leg, but
- 14:53Speaker 1: it usually always comes back right Like fashion kind of
- 14:55Speaker 1: just goes through a revolving door where you know eventually
- 14:59Speaker 1: it will come back into style. So I do think
- 15:01Speaker 1: it's worth investing in certain pieces when it comes to downim,
- 15:04Speaker 1: for an example, because eventually things do come back into style.
- 15:07Speaker 1: So I think that is the key thing, is buying
- 15:11Speaker 1: less but spending more on items. So quality over quantity
- 15:15Speaker 1: is going to be key for twenty twenty five. And
- 15:17Speaker 1: that was something that I was trying to do by
- 15:19Speaker 1: the end of the year of twenty twenty four, but
- 15:21Speaker 1: now we're making it a top priority for twenty twenty five.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Another big end for twenty twenty five is YouTube vlogs.
- 15:27Speaker 1: I think YouTube is going to be making a huge
- 15:29Speaker 1: comeback this year. I know it kind of was making
- 15:32Speaker 1: a big comeback last year, but I feel like this
- 15:34Speaker 1: year it's going to make it even bigger comeback. I
- 15:37Speaker 1: love long form content. I don't post a lot of it,
- 15:40Speaker 1: and I should. That is one of my goals for
- 15:42Speaker 1: twenty twenty five is to be more active on YouTube
- 15:45Speaker 1: and just provide more longer form content. But I find
- 15:49Speaker 1: all my comfort bloggers and all my comfort people through YouTube.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Like it truly is a comfort spot for me, and
- 15:55Speaker 1: I just love having it in the background when I'm working.
- 15:58Speaker 1: And just also I don't know, I love hearing people
- 16:01Speaker 1: talk for a long period of time. I think that's
- 16:03Speaker 1: also why I love podcasts as well. It's just I
- 16:06Speaker 1: like when people go into detail. But when I'm watching
- 16:09Speaker 1: TikTok's and when I'm watching like Instagram reels, I like
- 16:12Speaker 1: watching like funny videos or aesthetic vlogs, like kind of
- 16:16Speaker 1: like the content that I do sometimes of like other people,
- 16:20Speaker 1: but like when people are chatting on TikTok and chatting
- 16:24Speaker 1: on Instagram reels, it's just such a short form of
- 16:28Speaker 1: content that I feel like I can't get an in
- 16:29Speaker 1: depth understanding of the person and can't feel a connection
- 16:33Speaker 1: with the person, And I think that's why I don't
- 16:35Speaker 1: do that many talking videos through Instagram and through TikTok
- 16:39Speaker 1: because I could talk for hours, Like I could talk
- 16:42Speaker 1: NonStop and to the point where it's like, you know,
- 16:46Speaker 1: they don't push out the video through Instagram or TikTok
- 16:48Speaker 1: because I talk too long, which there's nothing wrong with that,
- 16:51Speaker 1: but you guys can tell that obviously. I am a
- 16:53Speaker 1: very relatable and very you know, outgoing person, and when
- 16:57Speaker 1: I communicate through the mic here with the podcast or
- 16:59Speaker 1: three YouTube blog like, I feel like I can get
- 17:01Speaker 1: my point across better when I talk in a long
- 17:04Speaker 1: form versus short form content. So I find it's better
- 17:09Speaker 1: for me to create a connection with comfort, influencers and
- 17:11Speaker 1: all that through YouTube or through a podcast. So I
- 17:14Speaker 1: do think YouTube blogs are going to be a big
- 17:16Speaker 1: comeback this year. But also video podcasts.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Hint, hint. I love video podcasts.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I am always playing a video podcast in my house
- 17:28Speaker 1: when I'm cooking dinner, when I'm making breakfast, again when
- 17:31Speaker 1: I'm working. I love visuals. I am a visual person
- 17:35Speaker 1: when it comes to anything. So being able to have
- 17:37Speaker 1: a combination of both you know, an educational podcast but
- 17:40Speaker 1: also having the video aspect as well is a game
- 17:44Speaker 1: changer to me. So that's something that I love. Of
- 17:46Speaker 1: course I love going on hawkgirl walks and having a
- 17:49Speaker 1: podcast on, but I also love being able to watch
- 17:51Speaker 1: a video and get shit done in the house having
- 17:53Speaker 1: the visual aspect of the podcast.
- 17:55Speaker 2: So YouTube blogs and.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Video podcasting I think are going to be a huge
- 17:59Speaker 1: and for twenty two. Another big inn for twenty twenty
- 18:02Speaker 1: five is weekly meal planning. This is going to be
- 18:05Speaker 1: a huge game changer because this is one thing that
- 18:07Speaker 1: I consistently made a mistake of of doing even last year.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Sometimes and if you don't plan your meals ahead of time,
- 18:14Speaker 1: when you go grocery shopping, you're almost feeling like you're
- 18:16Speaker 1: buying useless things because when you get to the point
- 18:19Speaker 1: of the night where you want to make dinner and
- 18:22Speaker 1: you find this recipe last minute lya and then you
- 18:25Speaker 1: have none of the ingredients in your fridge because you
- 18:27Speaker 1: didn't have that recipe planned ahead of time, and then
- 18:31Speaker 1: you have no idea what you're making for dinner, and
- 18:33Speaker 1: it ends up being either unhealthy or not the best.
- 18:37Speaker 1: This is why we need to do the weekly meal
- 18:39Speaker 1: planning ahead of time. Even if you just spend ten
- 18:41Speaker 1: minutes on your Sunday morning going through Pinterest or going
- 18:44Speaker 1: through Instagram, saving recipes that you like that you want
- 18:47Speaker 1: to recreate or make yourself, getting all the ingredients and
- 18:50Speaker 1: making sure that it fits within your grocery list, and
- 18:54Speaker 1: then going to the grocery store or buying everything, and
- 18:56Speaker 1: then you know exactly what you're making for each night
- 18:59Speaker 1: of the week. My breakfast is and for my lunches,
- 19:01Speaker 1: they're pretty consistent, they're pretty much the same. But when
- 19:03Speaker 1: it comes to dinner, that is the one meal that
- 19:06Speaker 1: I always look forward to, and I just always want
- 19:08Speaker 1: to put the most effort in those meals. So for me,
- 19:11Speaker 1: planning that ahead of time really does make a huge
- 19:13Speaker 1: difference in your budgeting for your grocery list. That's a
- 19:17Speaker 1: huge one, right because obviously groceries can get expensive, so
- 19:19Speaker 1: planning ahead of time allows you not spending a useless
- 19:22Speaker 1: amount of money on stupid.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Ingredients that you may not need.
- 19:25Speaker 1: So it allows you to kind of save money in
- 19:27Speaker 1: a way by knowing exactly what you need for the
- 19:30Speaker 1: entire week. And it also is just like no clutter,
- 19:32Speaker 1: you know you're going to use it. Sometimes you buy
- 19:34Speaker 1: stuff you put in your pantry, you forget about it,
- 19:36Speaker 1: and then again a year later you're throwing it out
- 19:39Speaker 1: when you're declutting your house or the end of the year.
- 19:42Speaker 1: That's something that we did. We threw out a bunch
- 19:43Speaker 1: of expired food in our pantry, just like cans or
- 19:47Speaker 1: honestly like collagen powders, all that that was just expired
- 19:50Speaker 1: that we never used. But like, those were useless things
- 19:53Speaker 1: that I bought, that we just had in our grocery
- 19:56Speaker 1: list that we never thought about.
- 19:57Speaker 2: So that's why.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Doing the meal planning is beneficial because you know what
- 20:02Speaker 1: you have for the week, You're not stressed about what
- 20:04Speaker 1: you're making for dinner. You already know ahead of time,
- 20:07Speaker 1: and you're saving money because you know exactly what ingredients
- 20:10Speaker 1: you have to buy. You're not wasting food, you're actually
- 20:12Speaker 1: physically using it for all these recipes. So it's just
- 20:16Speaker 1: a huge benefit. Speaking about decluttering, I think decluttering monthly
- 20:20Speaker 1: is going to be an end for twenty twenty five.
- 20:22Speaker 1: So just being on top of everything in your home,
- 20:25Speaker 1: being organized, getting rid of things all that. When I
- 20:28Speaker 1: tell you that I got rid of so much makeup products,
- 20:32Speaker 1: so much skincare products that was either expired or used,
- 20:35Speaker 1: and I just never touched it for years, Like I'm
- 20:38Speaker 1: being fully honest here, Like just I did, Like I
- 20:40Speaker 1: had things in my bathroom sync that I hadn't used
- 20:44Speaker 1: in years because with my job, obviously I get a
- 20:47Speaker 1: lot of pr and I try out certain products and
- 20:49Speaker 1: sometimes it just doesn't react well with my skin. And
- 20:52Speaker 1: that's obviously very normal. I'm sure a lot of people,
- 20:54Speaker 1: you know, either break out or have a reaction to
- 20:56Speaker 1: certain products. You know, they put it in their cabinet
- 20:59Speaker 1: thinking Okay, well, not going to use this right now,
- 21:01Speaker 1: they forget about it, and then two years later they
- 21:03Speaker 1: realize how much extra products they have and they have
- 21:06Speaker 1: to throw it out. So I had to do that,
- 21:10Speaker 1: and it was a lot of freaking work. My bathroom sink,
- 21:13Speaker 1: I think took me an hour, maybe an hour and
- 21:16Speaker 1: a half alone, just that one spot. That's not my closet,
- 21:19Speaker 1: that's not my pantry, my kitchen cabinets, Like it took
- 21:24Speaker 1: three full days.
- 21:25Speaker 2: To do this entire house.
- 21:26Speaker 1: And it was the most mentally exhausting thing I've done
- 21:30Speaker 1: in a very long time. Like Zach and I were
- 21:33Speaker 1: freaking exhausted, Like just every single night we lay in
- 21:36Speaker 1: bed and we're like, we're going to bed. Like we've
- 21:39Speaker 1: been NonStop from eight am to eight pm, just decluttering
- 21:42Speaker 1: the entire house. I am making it a monthly thing
- 21:45Speaker 1: to declutter my spots, either donating things, getting rid of things,
- 21:49Speaker 1: giving it to friends. If I'm not using it, I
- 21:51Speaker 1: don't want it. I want to get rid of it.
- 21:53Speaker 1: So I'm definitely gonna be better at that this year.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Another in for twenty twenty five is trying new hobbies.
- 21:59Speaker 1: It was actually funny because I was in the car
- 22:01Speaker 1: with Zach and we were driving and he was like,
- 22:03Speaker 1: I really want to try a new hobby with you,
- 22:05Speaker 1: and I'm like, that's such a nice thing to say,
- 22:07Speaker 1: Like I feel like that's usually something the wife would
- 22:09Speaker 1: say to her husband, saying like, oh, we should do
- 22:11Speaker 1: a hobby. Like my husband was like, we should do
- 22:13Speaker 1: a hobby together this year. So I don't know what
- 22:16Speaker 1: we're gonna do yet. We've been trying to think about it.
- 22:18Speaker 1: We love pick a ball in the summer, and I
- 22:21Speaker 1: do know they have pickaball courts in Ottawa for like
- 22:23Speaker 1: indoor purposes, but I don't know. I'm like, what is
- 22:27Speaker 1: something that we can get into that would be fun
- 22:28Speaker 1: to do together. If you guys have any ideas, let
- 22:30Speaker 1: me know. But we're trying to think of something that
- 22:32Speaker 1: we could do together, maybe on the weekends or like
- 22:35Speaker 1: a Friday night or a Thursday night that we can actually.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Be consistent with.
- 22:39Speaker 1: I mean, I love doing home projects. Zach on the
- 22:42Speaker 1: other hand, like he likes doing it, but he does
- 22:44Speaker 1: work a blue collar job, so he's always, you know,
- 22:47Speaker 1: doing things at work, so on his weekends, he'd rather
- 22:50Speaker 1: not do anything related to tools, which I totally respect,
- 22:54Speaker 1: but in my opinion, like that's fun, Like I like
- 22:56Speaker 1: doing that kind of stuff, but I'm like, I feel
- 22:58Speaker 1: like I would love to do just it's like bougie
- 23:01Speaker 1: on budget, you know what I mean, like finding home
- 23:03Speaker 1: to core things or doing home to core things at
- 23:05Speaker 1: the house that is a more of affordable way of
- 23:08Speaker 1: doing it when you see things like on Creighton Barrel
- 23:11Speaker 1: or CB two like that are so stupidly expensive, Like
- 23:13Speaker 1: I would love to be able to like recreate.
- 23:15Speaker 2: That on a budget.
- 23:17Speaker 1: So I don't know, that's something that I've been thinking about.
- 23:20Speaker 1: I've also been really wanting to just like be better
- 23:23Speaker 1: at painting. I think I've told you guys that I've
- 23:27Speaker 1: i suck at painting, like I really do, and I've
- 23:30Speaker 1: been really just wanting to get in a better habit
- 23:34Speaker 1: of just like painting mugs, painting candles, painting plates, like
- 23:38Speaker 1: whatever the case may be, just like little things because
- 23:40Speaker 1: I love those kind of things on Pinterest and on Etsy.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Like whenever I go on Etsy and I see like
- 23:44Speaker 1: cute painted mugs or cute painted plates, I'm like, I
- 23:47Speaker 1: could do that myself, but like I can't, but I
- 23:49Speaker 1: want to do that myself. So that's something that I
- 23:52Speaker 1: really want to try. Is just being more i don't know,
- 23:55Speaker 1: crafty and getting more into artsy things because I know
- 23:59Speaker 1: I'm not good at it, but it's something that's out
- 24:00Speaker 1: of my comfort zone.
- 24:02Speaker 2: I want to keep doing it. When you're consistent with it,
- 24:04Speaker 2: you're going to get better at it.
- 24:05Speaker 1: So it's just something that I've been wanting to take
- 24:07Speaker 1: in for twenty twenty five. So this is your sign
- 24:10Speaker 1: to try a new hobby, maybe it's just with yourself
- 24:12Speaker 1: or with your partner or with a friend. Trying new
- 24:15Speaker 1: things is always fun and can be a fun hobby
- 24:19Speaker 1: to do. Another end for twenty twenty five is saving money.
- 24:23Speaker 1: We are saving money, we are budgeting we are putting
- 24:25Speaker 1: it towards things that we think are beneficial. For an example,
- 24:29Speaker 1: if you're the kind of person that really wants to
- 24:31Speaker 1: go to Europe and wants to travel for you know,
- 24:34Speaker 1: a few weeks in the summer, this is your sign
- 24:37Speaker 1: that if you want to do that, it's time to
- 24:38Speaker 1: save money. It's time to put money aside. One thing
- 24:41Speaker 1: for me that I do, I've been very good at
- 24:43Speaker 1: saving money. My parents taught me at a very young
- 24:45Speaker 1: age to save money. I know, basically bought this house
- 24:49Speaker 1: with the money that I saved, and my parents taught
- 24:51Speaker 1: me how to really just manage what should be in
- 24:54Speaker 1: my account, how I should be paying off my credit card,
- 24:57Speaker 1: how much I should be putting aside each check or
- 24:59Speaker 1: each week to be able to have an xyz amount
- 25:03Speaker 1: to put towards, you know, big purchases like a car
- 25:06Speaker 1: or a house. I think the one tip that I
- 25:08Speaker 1: will give is that look at how much you make
- 25:10Speaker 1: per week or every two weeks and be realistic. It's like,
- 25:14Speaker 1: what do you actually need to spend in terms of
- 25:17Speaker 1: your groceries, your gas bill, your rent, anything like that.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Add it up, see how much you actually have to spend.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Maybe put you know, like two hundred dollars aside or
- 25:27Speaker 1: three hundred dollars aside for you know, random errands or
- 25:30Speaker 1: shopping that you want to do for yourself, and then
- 25:33Speaker 1: the rest of it put it in a savings account.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Even if it's like two hundred dollars a week or
- 25:39Speaker 1: two hundred dollars every two weeks, it doesn't matter. Just
- 25:42Speaker 1: start taking out small amounts of money and putting it
- 25:45Speaker 1: towards a savings account and eventually it will add up
- 25:47Speaker 1: and it will be able to cover your flights to
- 25:50Speaker 1: Europe or putting a down payment on a car. But
- 25:52Speaker 1: doing that allows you to reach some of those bigger
- 25:55Speaker 1: goals that you might have, like buying a house or
- 25:58Speaker 1: buying a new car, or going on a big train.
- 26:00Speaker 1: So saving money, if you haven't done so, you need
- 26:03Speaker 1: to do so. It is life changing and it's definitely
- 26:06Speaker 1: something that is always something people can work on, whether
- 26:08Speaker 1: it's cutting back on spending money on stupid things Like myself,
- 26:12Speaker 1: I need to cut back on spending money on certain things.
- 26:15Speaker 1: So for me, I've always been good at saving money,
- 26:17Speaker 1: but I could always be better. There's always improvement that
- 26:19Speaker 1: could be made, So that is something that I'm really
- 26:22Speaker 1: trying to stick to for this year. All right, let's
- 26:24Speaker 1: talk about some outs for twenty twenty five. One of
- 26:27Speaker 1: them is internet slang. I am the queen when it
- 26:31Speaker 1: comes to TikTok slang, Like I'm always making references to
- 26:34Speaker 1: TikTok sounds. So I'm definitely gonna be better at that.
- 26:37Speaker 1: I need to be better at just my grammar and
- 26:40Speaker 1: how I speak, even here on the podcast. I know
- 26:42Speaker 1: I say like a lot. I know I say important, obsessed, whatever.
- 26:47Speaker 1: There's certain words that I'm always saying that I know
- 26:49Speaker 1: because obviously editing the podcast, I hear me say these
- 26:52Speaker 1: certain words, and I'm like, I need to be better
- 26:54Speaker 1: and remember these things that I'm saying. So that's something
- 26:57Speaker 1: I'm trying to work on. But again, everyone can use improvements.
- 27:02Speaker 1: I am going to be getting back into reading. That
- 27:05Speaker 1: is something that I talked about last year, and I
- 27:08Speaker 1: think I only read one full book to be fully transparent,
- 27:10Speaker 1: I did not read anything else. But I am excited
- 27:14Speaker 1: to make this a priority for twenty twenty five. I
- 27:16Speaker 1: actually just ordered a book off Amazon. I ordered the
- 27:19Speaker 1: Atomic Habits book, which I've been wanting to actually read
- 27:22Speaker 1: for a very long time. So I ordered that, so
- 27:25Speaker 1: I'm going to probably read that this month. I would
- 27:28Speaker 1: love to read a book a month like that would
- 27:30Speaker 1: be my goal. If I could read twelve books this year,
- 27:33Speaker 1: I think that'd be I would be very proud of myself.
- 27:35Speaker 1: If I can read twelve books, that would be very
- 27:37Speaker 1: impressive for me. Even if it's maybe six books, I
- 27:40Speaker 1: mean that's half. I mean we're going to go big
- 27:41Speaker 1: because I think I could do it if I actually
- 27:43Speaker 1: set my mind to it and just you know, read
- 27:46Speaker 1: ten to fifteen pages a day. I do think it's
- 27:48Speaker 1: quite possible, but we shall see. Reading is just something
- 27:52Speaker 1: that I've been wanting to get back into and it's
- 27:53Speaker 1: just been a goal of mine. So yeah, maybe that
- 27:56Speaker 1: will help me get rid of my internet slang by
- 27:59Speaker 1: going on tikto talk less and reading more. Another out
- 28:02Speaker 1: is over planning.
- 28:03Speaker 2: I am a victim to this.
- 28:05Speaker 1: I'm always overbooking myself, and yesterday was actually a perfect
- 28:08Speaker 1: example of me actually saying no to plans. I did
- 28:10Speaker 1: have a very busy day yesterday with balancing the photoshoot
- 28:14Speaker 1: and an ad that I had to film for work,
- 28:16Speaker 1: as well as spending time with my husband making dinner.
- 28:19Speaker 1: All that, just those little things. So for me, it
- 28:22Speaker 1: felt too rush to go to the movies with my
- 28:25Speaker 1: friends at night, and I really wanted to go because
- 28:28Speaker 1: I haven't seen the movie.
- 28:29Speaker 2: It was the movie Wicked.
- 28:30Speaker 1: But I did say no because I wanted to put
- 28:33Speaker 1: my work first. I wanted to put spending time with
- 28:35Speaker 1: my husband first, and sometimes you just got to put
- 28:38Speaker 1: that aside and realize what your focus is on. And
- 28:43Speaker 1: it just felt like too much doing a photo shoot,
- 28:45Speaker 1: doing stuff for work, going to see the Wicked movie
- 28:47Speaker 1: like that, to me was just too much in one day,
- 28:50Speaker 1: so I decided to say no. I guess another end
- 28:52Speaker 1: for twenty twenty five is being able to say no
- 28:54Speaker 1: to things and being okay with it and not having fomo.
- 28:57Speaker 1: And that is something that I'm going to take into
- 29:00Speaker 1: the year. Is saying no when it's necessary and not
- 29:03Speaker 1: overplanning myself. Because when I overplan myself, I just get
- 29:06Speaker 1: more stressed, I get more anxious, and it just leads
- 29:09Speaker 1: to a burnout throughout the week if I just overdo it.
- 29:13Speaker 1: So that isn't out for twenty twenty five is overplanning.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Another out for twenty twenty five is coffee before breakfast.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Girls.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I've said it so many times, if you were having
- 29:23Speaker 1: coffee before breakfast, what are you doing? We need to
- 29:26Speaker 1: stop that. We need to think of a better habit
- 29:29Speaker 1: to do. If you're doing that, energy drinks are not
- 29:33Speaker 1: the solution. There has to be another way. But even
- 29:36Speaker 1: if it's just a small snack like finding a protein
- 29:38Speaker 1: bar or even making like muffins or banana bread or
- 29:42Speaker 1: something something small that you can have even before a workout,
- 29:46Speaker 1: and then having your coffee after the fact, it is
- 29:48Speaker 1: so crucial to your anxiety your mental health to not
- 29:52Speaker 1: have coffee before eating breakfast or just on an empty stomach.
- 29:56Speaker 2: In general. I used to do that and.
- 29:59Speaker 1: My anxiety was so bad, and for the past I
- 30:02Speaker 1: think three years now, I've had coffee at like ten
- 30:06Speaker 1: or eleven AM during the day.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Like it's pretty late in the day.
- 30:09Speaker 1: I usually have a coffee about two to three hours
- 30:11Speaker 1: after my breakfast, and it's literally perfect for me because
- 30:14Speaker 1: I personally find I have enough energy throughout the morning.
- 30:17Speaker 1: It's more so around ten or eleven where I'm like, oh,
- 30:19Speaker 1: I could use that extra caffeine for that energy boost.
- 30:23Speaker 1: So that's usually when I have it. It's almost like
- 30:25Speaker 1: a midday coffee break that I have so for me,
- 30:29Speaker 1: that's what works for me. Obviously you don't have to
- 30:30Speaker 1: have it two to three hours after eat breakfast, but
- 30:33Speaker 1: I do think it is beneficial to have coffee after
- 30:36Speaker 1: breakfast verse on an empty stomach. So if you notice
- 30:39Speaker 1: your anxiety's bad, it's probably because you're having coffee on
- 30:42Speaker 1: an empty stomach. So let's make that change for twenty
- 30:45Speaker 1: twenty five and be better at that. Another out for
- 30:47Speaker 1: twenty twenty five is workouts that you don't enjoy. If
- 30:51Speaker 1: you hate going to the gym, please don't go to
- 30:54Speaker 1: the gym this year. Please change it up, go try
- 30:57Speaker 1: something new. There's so many workout classes that you can
- 30:59Speaker 1: go to now, or so many different kinds of workouts.
- 31:02Speaker 2: That you can do.
- 31:03Speaker 1: If you hate running, don't run on a treadmill. Maybe
- 31:06Speaker 1: do some walking on an incline instead, fine different ways.
- 31:09Speaker 1: What I love about social media is that there's so
- 31:11Speaker 1: many ideas, there's so many things. There's so many different
- 31:15Speaker 1: kind of workouts that people showcase through the app, and
- 31:18Speaker 1: so many different things in general in life. It allows
- 31:20Speaker 1: you to be influenced, It allows you to feel inspired
- 31:23Speaker 1: to try something new. So this is your sign that
- 31:25Speaker 1: if you hate working out, right now and it's not
- 31:27Speaker 1: for you, then please try something different, because you're not
- 31:30Speaker 1: going to be consistent with a routine if you don't
- 31:33Speaker 1: enjoy it. You're consistent with a routine when you actually
- 31:36Speaker 1: want to show up for yourself, when you want to
- 31:38Speaker 1: do the workout, when you enjoy the workout. And yeah,
- 31:42Speaker 1: if you haven't tried pilates, I highly recommend it. But
- 31:44Speaker 1: not everybody loves it. It's not for everyone. Not everyone
- 31:48Speaker 1: is going to be enjoying the same kind of workouts.
- 31:50Speaker 1: It's just the reality. So just try new things, try
- 31:54Speaker 1: things that are different, try something that you actually enjoy,
- 31:57Speaker 1: and then you'll actually be consistent with it and stick
- 31:59Speaker 1: with it. And it truly is the best feeling when
- 32:01Speaker 1: you do find something that you do enjoy. Because I
- 32:03Speaker 1: hated the gym for a very long period of time,
- 32:05Speaker 1: but I felt like that was the only kind of
- 32:07Speaker 1: workout that I could do for myself. And then I
- 32:10Speaker 1: discovered pilates low impact movement and you know, walking and spinning,
- 32:15Speaker 1: and that truly changed my life. And it just made
- 32:17Speaker 1: me more consistent with my workout routine. And that's why
- 32:20Speaker 1: I feel like I always have a consistent workout routine.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Throughout the week. Is because I enjoy those kind of workouts.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Another out is fast fashion.
- 32:28Speaker 2: We just talked about it.
- 32:29Speaker 1: We're not buying from Sheen, We're not buying from Timu.
- 32:32Speaker 1: We're actually going to invest in good quality things for
- 32:34Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Another out for twenty twenty five is
- 32:37Speaker 1: seeking others approval. I am a victim to this when
- 32:41Speaker 1: it comes to anything in life. I'm not even over exaggerating.
- 32:44Speaker 1: I will always be asking people for their advice or
- 32:47Speaker 1: their opinion on anything and everything when it comes to shopping,
- 32:50Speaker 1: when it comes to my job, when it comes to
- 32:52Speaker 1: what I should talk about on this podcast episode, sometimes
- 32:55Speaker 1: like I'm always like asking my sister, asking my mom,
- 32:57Speaker 1: asking my husband, asking my friends, Like why do I
- 33:00Speaker 1: need their approval to do something like? No, I should
- 33:04Speaker 1: be able to make my own choice, my own rules,
- 33:07Speaker 1: my own approval on anything. Why do I need my
- 33:10Speaker 1: sister to justify a purchase? No, if I want it,
- 33:14Speaker 1: then by it. I don't need to get others approval
- 33:17Speaker 1: for certain things. So that is something that I'm working on.
- 33:20Speaker 1: It's an out. So yeah, we are not seeking other
- 33:23Speaker 1: people's opinions or approvals. We are doing anything we want
- 33:27Speaker 1: for ourselves. We're choosing ourselves. We're doing it ourself. We
- 33:30Speaker 1: do not need other people's opinion on certain things. Ooh,
- 33:33Speaker 1: this is another good out for twenty twenty five. Worrying
- 33:36Speaker 1: about something that hasn't happened yet.
- 33:38Speaker 2: I do that.
- 33:39Speaker 1: I think about something that could happen, and it stresses
- 33:43Speaker 1: me out and it makes me anxious. But why am
- 33:45Speaker 1: I thinking about that when it hasn't happened yet. So
- 33:48Speaker 1: that is something I'm working on to avoid stress, to
- 33:52Speaker 1: avoid anxiety by not worrying about something that hasn't happened.
- 33:55Speaker 1: So just focusing on the positive, focusing on what is
- 33:58Speaker 1: actually happening now, what could happen, and not having to
- 34:02Speaker 1: worry about that, Which leads me to my last point,
- 34:04Speaker 1: which is a big out for twenty twenty five is
- 34:07Speaker 1: negative self talk, So making sure we are always being
- 34:10Speaker 1: positive talking to ourselves, rating positive things about ourselves, talking
- 34:15Speaker 1: about things that we're grateful for, things that we're looking
- 34:17Speaker 1: forward to for the year, things that we're looking forward
- 34:19Speaker 1: to within our day, within our week, whatever the case
- 34:21Speaker 1: may be. We are being positive for twenty twenty five.
- 34:24Speaker 1: So those are some ins and outs for twenty twenty five.
- 34:26Speaker 1: I do think these are really good points to keep
- 34:29Speaker 1: in mind for this year. This year is all about
- 34:32Speaker 1: transforming ourself to be a better you, a better version
- 34:36Speaker 1: of you, choosing ourself, and just really focusing on how
- 34:40Speaker 1: to make improvements in our current daily habits, our current
- 34:43Speaker 1: daily life. It's not about becoming a new person. It's
- 34:45Speaker 1: just about choosing ourselves to become a better version of yourself.
- 34:49Speaker 1: So let that be a reminder for going into twenty
- 34:52Speaker 1: twenty five. I love you guys allso much. Thank you
- 34:55Speaker 1: guys for listening. I'm so happy to be back. A
