- 0:09manifest your dream life before we dive in.
- 0:12Remember that you can find the video version of this episode,
- 0:16and many more on the spirit Nomad YouTube channel.
- 0:21Now here's your host, Julia London.
- 0:25Today, I will share the four best spiritual books for
- 0:28beginners. These have All been
- 0:30life-changing for me and really helped me on my spiritual
- 0:33Ascension Journey. These will be super helpful for
- 0:35you, even if you were Further Along on your spiritual path.
- 0:39I choose these specifically because they're easy to
- 0:41understand. And read the first book is
- 0:44called the ante third soul. And here, the author talks about
- 0:48our mind being separate from our soul, when our body dies, our
- 0:52mind dice too, but not our soul, but still most of us live with
- 0:57the mind being the master and this Old taking the backseat.
- 1:01I read this book, several years ago, so I don't have the actual
- 1:05physical book, but I did find the book summary on short form,
- 1:10which is the home of super-powered book summaries,
- 1:14and they actually agreed to give a discount you guys and a free
- 1:17trial. So stay tuned for that.
- 1:20And I think so much short form for sponsoring this video.
- 1:23Now, the most life-changing quote in this book is currently
- 1:28your life, isn't your own It belongs, instead to what you
- 1:31might think of, as an inner roommates because the voice
- 1:35speaks to you as the voice of your mind, you mistakenly come
- 1:38to believe that it is you and the Very Act of noticing, your
- 1:42roommates voice is the beginning of freedom from it by simply
- 1:46noticing it. You diss identify from it and
- 1:49recognize that you are not it. Why would you ever want to give
- 1:53control of your life to this unstable person who continually
- 1:57dispenses neurotic advice about? And it worries, argues with
- 2:02itself feels guilty, criticize, the others and just generally
- 2:06act like a crazy person and your spiritual growth depends on not
- 2:10believing what your inner roommate says.
- 2:13So whenever you feel angry jealous or any other - motion as
- 2:17yourself, who seeks this, who's witnessing this inner
- 2:20disturbance and notice that you are not, the problem you are
- 2:24witnessing it which means you don't have to get lost in it.
- 2:27As you can see, short form is kind of like Blankest.
- 2:30But while blink is summaries, are quite short, short forms,
- 2:34book summaries are super detailed and not only covers all
- 2:37books key ideas but they have interactive exercises to help
- 2:41you apply the ideas. So you don't forget them like I
- 2:44do when I read a book. So I find you actually learn
- 2:47more from the short form book summaries then reading the books
- 2:50themselves and similar to link as they have a one-page book
- 2:53summary, just a bit more detailed and Meaty.
- 2:56I would say but then also a fuller.
- 3:00A summary where basically every chapter gets summarized I
- 3:03wouldn't say this is a replacement for reading full
- 3:06books. I like that you know the texture
- 3:10of a physical book but if you like me and have an endless list
- 3:14of books you want to read this think this is a good way to just
- 3:17get to the good stuff. I have been reading one book
- 3:19summary a day as part of my morning routine, short-form
- 3:22Publishers, book guides, and articles every week and
- 3:25subscribers actually get to vote on what books to cover which is
- 3:28really cool. You can find Books in many
- 3:30categories, my favorites are spirituality, self-improvement
- 3:33and relationships to get five days of unlimited access to
- 3:36short form, and 20% discount off the annual subscription, then go
- 3:41to my special link short-form.com to the spirit
- 3:45Nomad. The next book that you have to
- 3:47read. Especially if you've ever felt
- 3:49drawn to the stars and aliens and spaceships.
- 3:52That is the Ascension Mysteries by David Wilcock.
- 3:56I mentioned him a lot of my channel.
- 3:58He's been a big inspiration to me.
- 4:00Oldest books. But this one is the most focused
- 4:02on the Ascension journey and our connection to the Stars.
- 4:06David Wilcock has talked to numerous insiders who have been
- 4:10on the secret space program and they tell him everything about
- 4:14this battle going on between - oriented and positive oriented
- 4:18extraterrestrials. And while this might seem very,
- 4:22whoa, it has loads and loads of scientific references and he
- 4:26also references many ancient scriptures.
- 4:29It's so super fascinating read. Definitely recommend the third
- 4:33spiritual book that I recommend for beginners is wabi-sabi by
- 4:37Beth Kempton. So, Japanese wisdom for a
- 4:40perfectly imperfect life because that is what wabi-sabi is all
- 4:44about. Seeing the beauty in
- 4:46imperfection and simplicity and my favorite quote of the book is
- 4:50is our imperfections that make us unique and our uniqueness
- 4:54that makes each of us beautiful. I have always been a bit of a
- 4:58perfectionist. So this And I wanted to have a
- 5:01life that would impress people make people envious but that
- 5:06really gave me burn out and it did not make me happy.
- 5:09And this book is a great reminder that you don't have to
- 5:12be perfect and you don't have to follow what Society things is
- 5:17the perfect way to live. This is also a great book if you
- 5:20struggle with like a shopping addiction materialism.
- 5:24This is a great book to get a different perspective and get
- 5:28drawn to more of a Simple, slow, living Lifestyle, the fourth
- 5:33book there. I highly recommend to spiritual
- 5:35Seekers is Sovereign self, and this is about how to find inner
- 5:39freedom and Achieve self realization and Enlightenment.
- 5:43And what this beautiful spiritual teacher has done is
- 5:46she's taking the key insights of The Vedas so the ancient
- 5:51scriptures of Hinduism and put them all in a book so they're
- 5:54easy to read and this is why I really recommended for beginners
- 5:57because then you don't have to go through.
- 5:59Every Vita and try to analyze. What is it?
- 6:02What is this metaphor mean? And there's this Sanskrit word,
- 6:06then you just get all the insights in one book.
- 6:09Here's one of my favorite quotes from the book.
- 6:12When you reacquaint yourself with your true self.
- 6:15So your soul, which is already inherently fulfilled, then the
- 6:21nightmare of your estranged ego seeking Joy esteem and even
- 6:26identity through the illusion of Of externalized fulfillment will
- 6:32fade away. So fulfillment has to come from
- 6:35within if you ever want to achieve self-realization and if
- 6:39you ever want to be truly happy and have that as your main
- 6:42states because you can't control external circumstances.
- 6:46And I think that's what this pandemic has really taught us
- 6:49travel used to be my source of joy, and when I couldn't do that
- 6:53anymore, I I first felt depressed but then I realized
- 6:58like I can't control these things.
- 6:59This and happiness has to come from within.
- 7:02It also goes deep into how karma really works.
- 7:06Karma is your friend, it is your own unfinished, business coming
- 7:11back as lack, limitation or emotional pain, Law of
- 7:15Attraction authors. Missed this point that we are
- 7:18not incarnated as human beings simply to have all her ones
- 7:22fulfilled by the ever willing Universe.
- 7:25We are also accountable to the universe for our actions and
- 7:28deeds. So we we need to make sure we're
- 7:30treating everyone with respect. And in this way, we will attract
- 7:35more joyful circumstances into our lives and its first.
- 7:38When we have paid off our Karma's that way, we can become
- 7:41God realized and don't forget to check out the free trial of
- 7:44short form, Link in the description.
