Gold & Silver Stackers - Are You Ready for It? - (Silver Squeeze, Eric Sprott) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

• 0:01
  250. Dollar silver we're.
• 0:04
Going to talk about that. Eric Sprott said that not too
• 0:06
long ago. Kitco is talking about a
• 0:09
miniature silver squeeze. We'll dive into that one as
• 0:13
  well. Yes, silver squeeze.
• 0:16
We haven't. Been hearing that too much
• 0:17
lately, but we know there's a massive move right now in the
• 0:21
gold market. We're going to talk about what's
• 0:23
  happening in gold. Today big.
• 0:26
News coming out, scary news coming out, but a lot of big
• 0:30
things that point towards more and more solidity, more and more
• 0:35
strength for the precious metals markets.
• 0:37
Thank you for being here. Thanks for being part of the
• 0:40
basement. We love talk about gold and
• 0:42
silver. Please subscribe to the channel.
• 0:44
Give the video a thumbs up. I want you to come back.
• 0:47
I want you to feel like you found a little.
• 0:49
Precious metals. Home away from home because you.
• 0:51
Deserve it. It's a great deal.
• 0:53
We've made a lot of friends here in the gold and silver community
• 0:57
that includes you, so please, please come back.
• 1:00
Let's look at the headlines. That are popping off this
• 1:03
morning. Some scary things happening in
• 1:06
the world. As you already know, Israel
• 1:08
strikes Iran nuclear sites and military leadership as Middle
• 1:12
East braces for retaliation. And that's the real scary part.
• 1:17
The word retaliation is bad enough.
• 1:21
  What's that tin? Can.
• 1:24
OK, hold on. Thank you, Susie.
• 1:26
Let's see if we can check the audio.
• 1:29
  Yeah, thank you. Thank you.
• 1:33
  What's? Going on here.
• 1:35
OK, The audio should be better. Thank you, Susie.
• 1:38
  Hey, you. You didn't.
• 1:39
You as the viewer may not have even realized the audio was bad,
• 1:44
but nonetheless, hopefully you can hear me better.
• 1:47
Let's check in with Susie. We're having some technical
• 1:49
issues this morning and make sure that we are good.
• 1:52
And then we're going to talk about Susie.
• 1:55
Is the audio improved over? Thank you.
• 2:00
OK, All right, thank you, guys. I apologize you didn't get to
• 2:03
experience the full octave enjoyment of my voice earlier in
• 2:11
the in the in the live stream. Guys, what's really scary here,
• 2:15
what's really important because gold is up, we're going to look
• 2:18
at that up $50 per oz is escalation.
• 2:21
Retaliation is one thing. Escalation, this could be a a
• 2:25
not good situation in the world from a geopolitical, from a war
• 2:30
perspective. So we're going to keep a close
• 2:32
eye on that. But none the less, this morning
• 2:35
as a result, we're getting some interesting movements in the
• 2:39
markets. Here we are looking at gold on
• 2:42
CNBC. You can see the gold price in
• 2:45
the futures market up $60.00 per oz and silver, as you might
• 2:51
expect, up only 7 cents. I'm actually surprised it's up
• 2:56
because gold is the one that really reacts to these big
• 3:00
geopolitical events. Now be prepared because as we
• 3:02
know from having invested in the gold market and the silver
• 3:06
market for years, sometimes these event driven spikes can be
• 3:11
retraced very quickly. But nonetheless, there are
• 3:13
major, major supportive factors out there right now for gold and
• 3:19
in particular silver. Let's go take a look at the
• 3:22
silver chart where we know we've had this major breakout above
• 3:27
the $35 price. And I thought it was super
• 3:32
interesting how many days now let's look at the let's look at
• 3:36
the one year chart. And I promise this will be the
• 3:42
last time we'll look at this. We're getting the crayons out.
• 3:46
Here we go. Here is $35.
• 3:51
Here's a red line. That was the red line in the
• 3:54
sand that Silver had tried to breakthrough several times,
• 3:59
once, twice, I think even another time further back we did
• 4:03
break out, which is a massive, massive deal, right?
• 4:06
We know there's very little resistance above the 35,
• 4:10
especially $36 per oz range. But what I find very interesting
• 4:15
and there's all different theories on how you can
• 4:20
officially say that, that that that something has broken out.
• 4:23
But if we look at how many days now that silver has broken above
• 4:29
$35.00. So we're going to count 'cause
• 4:31
it was at 34 here on the 4th of June, looks like on the 5th,
• 4:35
that was day one. So there's 12345 6-7.
• 4:46
We are now in the eighth day. We are in the eighth day of the
• 4:53
big major silver breakout. Actually very, very exciting
• 4:57
news, very big news for silver because as we know right when
• 5:01
something breaks out like that, usually it will keep going
• 5:05
higher. And on top of that, there is
• 5:07
very little resistance between 36 dollars silver, $40 silver,
• 5:12
$50 silver, and even as high as $60.00 silver.
• 5:15
And we know that we deserve it. Did you know there was a silver
• 5:19
smash? We're going to talk about the
• 5:20
silver squeeze a little bit later, but we had a silver smash
• 5:24
the other night that a lot of people kind of overlooked.
• 5:28
But our friend Oren the Silver Hermit put this post out
• 5:34
basically said this is not, this is not a price chart.
• 5:37
This is a crime scene. So not last night, but the night
• 5:41
before we got this. Check this out in the middle of
• 5:48
the night, around what, 3-4 AM probably Eastern Time, we saw
• 5:53
the silver price go from about what, 3630 all the way down to
• 6:00
almost a whole dollar down. Look at that crazy waterfall
• 6:06
that occurred in the middle of the night.
• 6:07
But the good news, as you know and I know is that we've pretty
• 6:12
much recovered all of that yesterday and today.
• 6:16
We're still holding in that same area.
• 6:19
And as we just covered, right, it's just critical at this point
• 6:22
that we stay above $35. A lot of the big analysts will
• 6:26
say, you know, they won't consider it a breakout until
• 6:29
there's two or three days above $3536.
• 6:33
We did it like we just showed we're at we're on 8 right now.
• 6:37
Now don't rule anything out. I don't want to rain on the
• 6:40
parade. And trust me, you know me, I'm
• 6:42
the one of the biggest believers in the long term price of
• 6:45
  silver. Eric Spratt's mentioning $250
• 6:49
silver. I think, you know, I think
• 6:51
that's definitely within the realm of possibilities.
• 6:56
But we got, we must be prepared for anything.
• 6:59
And anyone who's been in the silver market like you or me for
• 7:03
decades knows that it can do some shocking things.
• 7:06
But guess what, guys? It can also do some shocking
• 7:10
things to the upside. I know we've been, we've been
• 7:13
  beat. What's it called?
• 7:15
Battered bowl syndrome, right? We've been battered so many
• 7:18
times that it's hard to believe, but it will happen and it can
• 7:22
happen and it very well may be happening right now in the
• 7:27
present moment. So let's keep our our attitudes
• 7:30
optimistic. You know, $60.00 silver, $100
• 7:34
silver and we will get to Eric Sprouts $250 silver.
• 7:37
I thought this was very interesting about silver from
• 7:41
the Happy Hawaiian. And then we're going to talk
• 7:45
about the silver squeeze with the Happy Hawaiian.
• 7:48
Put this one out a few months ago, but it really hits the nail
• 7:51
in the head. How much silver exists in the
• 7:53
ground compared to gold? Roughly 19 to 1.
• 7:58
So there's 19 ounces of silver for each one ounce of gold in
• 8:02
the ground. So how much silver do they mine
• 8:04
each year compared to gold? Only about 7 ounces of silver
• 8:08
for each one ounce of gold. How much is available in
• 8:12
stockpiles? Because as we all know, no
• 8:15
silver, a lot of silver gets consumed more like 3 to 1.
• 8:19
So what's the price of gold compared to silver?
• 8:23
Oh, it's at the time was 102 times more expensive.
• 8:27
Currently we're probably sitting around about 90 to 1.
• 8:31
The gold to silver ratio. Oh, OK, cool.
• 8:37
I mean, what's the gold price at right now?
• 8:39
Guys, hold on here. We'll get an update.
• 8:43
  Let's say it, let's just say, let's say we have 30, we'll
• 8:47
  round up. We have 35.
• 8:49
Gosh darn it, that's easy math. I don't have to get the
• 8:51
calculator out. If we have $3500 gold, which
• 8:56
seems like it's on the horizon and we broke through that not to
• 8:59
in the and if it and if it were priced at the same mining ratio
• 9:03
of seven to one, that would mean $500 silver.
• 9:08
Now look, I'm not a financial advisor.
• 9:10
I'm not giving financial advice. Always consult a professional
• 9:14
financial advisor. However, I think the the
• 9:17
argument can be made that the price of silver is hugely
• 9:21
undervalued. If you want to get your hands on
• 9:23
some silver, take a look at this beauty.
• 9:26
This is the year of the Snake coin from our friends at First
• 9:31
Met channel sponsor. They sponsor the gold and silver
• 9:34
content here in the basement. This is just one of the absolute
• 9:38
unique silver bullion products, class silver bullion products
• 9:43
that First Mint makes at their mint in Nevada.
• 9:46
But what's even more interesting about First Mint is where they
• 9:49
get their silver. They don't get their silver from
• 9:51
the Comex. They don't get their silver from
• 9:53
the LBMA. No, First Mint is owned by First
• 9:56
Majestic Silver. So these silver products that
• 10:00
you can get, right, these unique products from First Mint, that's
• 10:04
fresh silver that was just mined out of the ground in Mexico by
• 10:09
First Majestic Silver. You can check it out at First
• 10:12
mint.com. They've got free shipping over
• 10:15
$199 and they have a discount code VIPRB, which will get you a
• 10:21
little discount. And remember, it's a company you
• 10:23
can trust, right? Owned and operated by First
• 10:27
Majestic Silver, which is led by Keith Neumeyer, a super high
• 10:31
respected name in the precious metals community.
• 10:35
Let's talk about the silver squeeze because Kitco, right,
• 10:38
runs an article about a little miniature silver silver squeeze
• 10:42
and let's let's see why and how they are saying that could
• 10:46
  happen. Here we go.
• 10:50
Great article from our friend Ernest Hoffman.
• 10:53
Silver will see many, many squeeze events to address the
• 10:58
London, New York imbalance. The price could hit $40 this
• 11:02
  year. That's according to TD
• 11:04
Securities analyst Mr. Golly. In Purple silver prices that
• 11:10
finally started to break out over the last two weeks and the
• 11:13
unresolved market distortions between New York and London
• 11:16
could see the Gray metal hitting new highs of its own before
• 11:21
long, according to Daniel Golly, our good friend senior commodity
• 11:26
strategist at TD Securities. We think this has been a long
• 11:30
time coming, he added. And we think the current market
• 11:33
structure favors these kind of mini squeeze events.
• 11:37
So maybe like a day when price is up $5, don't tell anybody
• 11:42
$7.00 per oz. I think that would be a mini
• 11:45
squeeze going forward. Golly said that silver's sharp
• 11:49
move higher was caused in part by an imbalance between the
• 11:53
major trading hubs in London and New York.
• 11:57
So that's what this is all about.
• 11:59
The paper market is so screwed up right in in this this this
• 12:05
London, New York arbitrage situation, whatever, you know,
• 12:09
it's just a big mess. We know from from following the
• 12:13
price of the of silver on the Shanghai Gold Exchange, the
• 12:17
physical price of silver right in China, where they're actually
• 12:21
now becoming the price discovery leader for silver that the
• 12:25
silver price is often $2.00, sometimes even $3 per oz higher
• 12:30
seven 1015% higher. So the whole market on the paper
• 12:35
side is completely screwed up. Eventually the hens come home to
• 12:40
roost. You can only fool Mother Nature.
• 12:43
Market forces supply and demand for so long.
• 12:45
Everything eventually will come back to physical in the silver
• 12:50
market. Let's look at what Eric Spratt
• 12:52
said and remind ourselves of another reason why we can be
• 12:56
highly optimistic about the silver price.
• 13:00
And this is a post from a little while back, but I believe it.
• 13:03
  Yeah. Also from Kitco.
• 13:05
Silver is going to skyrocket according to Eric Sprott.
• 13:09
If you don't know who Eric Sprott is, he is like the the
• 13:12
crowned king of silver, OK? He started Sprott Asset
• 13:18
  Management. He's known.
• 13:19
He's highly respected. He's a very wealthy man and he
• 13:24
knows what's happening right now in the world of precious metals
• 13:28
and in particular with silver. But remember this right, The key
• 13:32
points focus on gold and silver as a strategic investment.
• 13:36
Silver to skyrocket. Sprott believes the silver price
• 13:40
could reach 250 to $500. See, I could have said silver
• 13:45
$500. And we actually showed earlier
• 13:48
why silver could be $500, right? It's mined at a 7 to 1 ratio,
• 13:54
but the actual price is closer to a ratio that reflects
• 13:59
compared to gold, more of about 100 or 90 to one.
• 14:03
If we got back to a mining ratio price for silver alone, we would
• 14:08
have $500 silver stock market vulnerabilities.
• 14:12
So this is in a, in a, in a, in a video that sprotted not too
• 14:17
long ago. But another interesting thing
• 14:20
that he said he on his gold forecast well north of $3000 by
• 14:25
the end of the year. So he hit it on that on the
• 14:28
nail, hit the nail on the head with gold.
• 14:33
Hold on here. So we know that silver can't be
• 14:36
far behind. Look, I made a video earlier in
• 14:39
the week, all right, that I don't think enough people watch
• 14:41
that pointed out something very critical about what's happening
• 14:45
with silver. When you look at the silver
• 14:47
price in Canadian dollars, all time highs.
• 14:50
When you look at the silver price in Australian dollars, all
• 14:54
time highs. When you look in the end, all
• 14:56
around the world, we're getting all time high prices in silver
• 15:00
in native currencies. The same darn thing thing
• 15:03
happened in the gold market. I don't know, 18 months, 16
• 15:07
months ago, I was having Deja vu is I was making the video
• 15:11
because I was like, I remember the same scenario unfolded 1516
• 15:16
months ago when gold was making new all time highs in Chinese
• 15:20
  yuan, Canadian dollars, whatever.
• 15:22
And we just and we said it's just a matter of time.
• 15:26
It's just a matter of time quickly, few more quick things,
• 15:29
interesting things when it comes to gold, guys.
• 15:33
Gold is now the world's second largest reserve asset.
• 15:39
It overtook the euro. Here we go.
• 15:42
Central bank's gold stockpiles are close to levels last seen in
• 15:46
the 1960s. Combined with gold's soaring
• 15:50
price, it is now second only to the US dollar is their biggest
• 15:55
reserve holding in value terms. The ECB said this in some
• 15:59
analysis on on Wednesday of last last week.
• 16:03
And one thing that we've been watching very closely and there
• 16:07
have been some I think major developments in this as well is
• 16:12
the DXY index still below 100 earlier in the week at a drop
• 16:18
down below 97. We can see over here we are on
• 16:23
the wrong screen. There we go guys.
• 16:24
Sorry about that, But we're still closer to 98, but we got
• 16:29
into the 90 sevens, don't forget, OK?
• 16:32
Don't you forget this very important part, very important
• 16:37
point point, OK, between here around the year 2000 and here
• 16:47
between about 2011, as you can see, the dollar index went into
• 16:51
a bear market, went really low down to about 75.
• 16:55
During that same period, the silver price went from $5 to
• 16:59
$50, peaking in 2011. In gold, I don't know for sure,
• 17:05
but I know gold went up at least three or four.
• 17:07
I want to be conservative times in price, not 3 or 4% guys, 3 or
• 17:11
4 times in price. The other thing that we want to
• 17:15
keep an eye on our mining stocks.
• 17:17
You know, I follow the gold mining and silver mining stocks
• 17:20
very, very closely. They have been doing very well.
• 17:24
I believe they are still undervalued by almost any metric
• 17:28
that you want to look at. And as we move through the rest
• 17:32
of the year, if we continue with the strong gold and silver
• 17:36
prices that more and more people will be moving into the precious
• 17:41
metal mining stocks. On that note, I do want to say
• 17:44
thank you to channel sponsor First Mining Gold.
• 17:48
  They're a development stage company.
• 17:49
That means they've established massive resources of gold in the
• 17:54
ground, but it's in Canada. They have two huge projects, du
• 17:58
Parquet project which is in Quebec, in the Spring Pole
• 18:02
project which is in Ontario. They also have another 1,000,000
• 18:06
oz project, the Cameron project which is also in Canada.
• 18:09
So they are moving, Yeah. I don't want to pull that up,
• 18:17
but thank you. Yeah, First, thank you, thank
• 18:19
  you. First, mining gold.
• 18:21
Thank you. Susie has been doing very well.
• 18:23
The stock has probably gone up almost 40% here in the last, I
• 18:28
don't know, 3-4 weeks, but a great company, right?
• 18:31
To me, one of the things I love, you know, I, I don't own much
• 18:35
physical gold, but I do own gold mining stocks, development stage
• 18:39
companies. And to me it's almost like
• 18:41
owning gold, but it's in the ground and it's in Canada like
• 18:45
the, the safest vault in the world.
• 18:48
You can learn more about the company.
• 18:50
You can actually talk to a, a, a person that works at the
• 18:53
company, their director of investor relations, Paul Morris.
• 18:57
His e-mail is in the description of this video.
• 19:00
Thank you for being here. We are in for some wild good
• 19:05
times in the precious metals markets, right?
• 19:08
We are there. And now I think silver could
• 19:10
really, really surprise us here. Throughout the rest of 2025,
• 19:16
we've talked about it. We sat down here, basement
• 19:18
dwellers, right when silver was $18.00 per oz, $20 per oz, like
• 19:24
half of where it is now. And the exciting part is when
• 19:28
you look at all the factors that have driven the increase in
• 19:32
price in gold and silver, they continue to be there.
• 19:36
There continues to be a strong argument for much more support
• 19:40
for the prices of the precious metals and the mining stocks as
• 19:44
well. Thank you for being here.
• 19:45
Don't forget, please subscribe to the channel.
• 19:48
I want you to come back to the basement.
• 19:49
Huh? How'd you get in my basement?
• 19:52
You're always welcome to come here virtually, right?
• 19:55
Our little home away from home. You take care of yourself on
• 19:58
behalf half of myself and our friend upstairs, Susie, who
• 20:02
helps through the walkie-talkie. I want you to have a great day.
• 20:06
Take care of yourself and I will see you.
• 20:09
Yeah, I'm talking to you soon.
