Socks for Cancer Made Local | Albany News

Sock Out Cancer, a nonprofit that’s been selling $10 socks for nearly a decade—with half the proceeds going to cancer patients and the other half to production—has brought its mission home to New York’s Seneca County. Powered by volunteers from Security Mutual Life Insurance, they’ve teamed up with Mozaic, a local nonprofit supporting people with disabilities, whose Finger Lakes Textiles division now sews their colorful socks locally.
