- 0:35Speaker 5: almost started pulling out Halloween decorations this weekend. Already my
- 0:40Speaker 5: neighbors already have Halloween decorations in their arnt.
- 0:43Speaker 4: It I think is way too early for that. I
- 0:45Speaker 4: think you need to wait till September at.

- 1:21Speaker 5: died this weekend. That's at eight o'clock. Ask Alabama's at

- 1:29Speaker 5: so thank you for being here, Good morning.
- 1:33Speaker 1: It's what the hell headlines?
- 1:34Speaker 2: What the hell are you talking about?
- 1:36Speaker 5: On the Alabama Show, an Alaskan woman fought off an
- 1:41Speaker 5: eight hundred pound bear with.
- 1:42Speaker 2: A jiu jitsu kick.
- 1:45Speaker 4: She was trained her whole life for this.
- 1:47Speaker 5: Apparently, so a woman in Alaska, Caitlin, was walking her
- 1:51Speaker 5: dog near a salmon stream, which is where brown bears
- 1:55Speaker 5: in Alaska famously eat, and the bear also had cubs,
- 1:58Speaker 5: so the bear started charging her when she walked by
- 2:02Speaker 5: with her dog, so she ran uphill. The dog grabbed
- 2:05Speaker 5: her leg pinned her down, so she said she rolled
- 2:07Speaker 5: on her back, kicked the bear in the face, and
- 2:10Speaker 5: then the bear left and the dog distracted the bear
- 2:12Speaker 5: in the cubs because you know, you're never supposed to
- 2:15Speaker 5: mess with a bear with cubs.
- 2:17Speaker 4: I wouldn't mess with a bear in general.
- 2:18Speaker 6: I know.
- 2:19Speaker 5: So anyway, she said it was her jiu jitsu training
- 2:22Speaker 5: that kicked in, and she said she'll plan to resume
- 2:25Speaker 5: her walks back soon. Wearing bear bells and she's.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Okay, I know my next hobby.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Super Easy Trivia with the Yella Mama Shaw eight three.
- 2:37Speaker 5: Three five O one Bama is the number to call

- 2:44Speaker 2: you do?
- 2:44Speaker 5: I work at manufacturing?
- 2:46Speaker 2: Okay, tell me more? Are you being vague so your
- 2:49Speaker 2: boss won't know that you're calling the radio station?
- 2:52Speaker 1: Yeah? A little?
- 2:53Speaker 5: Okay, we can't get in trouble if you win, or
- 2:56Speaker 5: do you just not want people to know that you
- 2:58Speaker 5: won and try to be your plus one?
- 3:00Speaker 3: That part you're correct?
- 3:04Speaker 7: Want it?
- 3:04Speaker 5: Okay, We're gonna play super easy trivia for these tickets to.

- 3:09Speaker 5: We're gonna do it. Are you smarter than producer Blake style?
- 3:13Speaker 5: So say your name and then the answer really fast,
- 3:16Speaker 5: because if you don't, Blake's gonna jump in and say
- 3:18Speaker 5: the answer because he cheats.
- 3:19Speaker 4: I don't cheat cheat.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Also, it's fall addition, because I'm ready for fall, me too? Okay,
- 3:26Speaker 2: I'm right all right, Amri? You said yes? Okay?

- 3:40Speaker 5: What fall treat is made by toasting a marshmallow over
- 3:43Speaker 5: a fire and sandwiching it between chocolate and Graham crackers.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Prucier Blake' s'mores?
- 3:49Speaker 2: Amri, what was it? A good job? Amari?
- 3:54Speaker 1: Great?
- 3:55Speaker 5: I only heard Amari say the answer, and she's the
- 3:58Speaker 5: only person I heard.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Hey, next one, last one for the wind.
- 4:03Speaker 5: What is it called when birds move from the north
- 4:06Speaker 5: to the south when the weather changes.
- 4:08Speaker 2: I'm on, I migrate.
- 4:10Speaker 5: Boo yeah baby, good job girl, You're going to rock
- 4:23Speaker 5: the South.
- 4:25Speaker 1: There's three things you need to know you with the
- 4:28Speaker 1: Alabama saw.
- 4:29Speaker 5: ESPN just reported on Saturday Kielan Russell going to start
- 4:33Speaker 5: as the quarterback for Alabama in the upcoming season. He
- 4:36Speaker 5: was named the number two quarterback last season. We need
- 4:39Speaker 5: a new quarterback after Ty Simpson left and was selected
- 4:43Speaker 5: in the first round of the twenty twenty six NFL
- 4:46Speaker 5: Draft by the La Rams. So now we know who
- 4:49Speaker 5: are new quarterback is going.
- 4:50Speaker 2: To be Role Tide.
- 4:52Speaker 5: There's a new Marilyn Monroe barbie to celebrate what would
- 4:55Speaker 5: have been her one hundredth birthday.
- 4:58Speaker 2: This was just released to.
- 4:59Speaker 5: Doll Recreate It's Monroe's Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend
- 5:02Speaker 5: look with a bright pink gown, opera gloves, and diamond
- 5:05Speaker 5: inspired accessories. If you want to get that, if you're
- 5:07Speaker 5: a Barbie collector or you know somebody that's a Marilyn
- 5:10Speaker 5: Monroe fan. The limited edition doll is on Amazon. You
- 5:13Speaker 5: can get her at Target and.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Walmart for eighty one dollars.
- 5:18Speaker 5: A former Disney pop star, Jordan Prewitt, said that Miley
- 5:22Speaker 5: Cyrus used to bully her.
- 5:24Speaker 4: Do we know how Yah.
- 5:25Speaker 5: She said that Miley used to call her and leave
- 5:27Speaker 5: her nasty voicemails with her friends, saying she needed a
- 5:30Speaker 5: nose job, new teeth, and a choreographer.
- 5:32Speaker 4: That is rough.
- 5:33Speaker 5: This all started because, you know, in two thousand and eight,
- 5:36Speaker 5: there was a video of Miley when she was young,
- 5:38Speaker 5: and her friend posted a video of them making fun
- 5:40Speaker 5: of Selena Gomez and Demi Levado. It just got brought
- 5:44Speaker 5: up on Reddit recently and people were talking about it,
- 5:46Speaker 5: and then Jordan Prewitt, the Disney pop star, came into
- 5:49Speaker 5: the comments and told her story and she was like,
- 5:52Speaker 5: that's just how Miley treated everyone back in the day,
- 5:54Speaker 5: which we all watched Miley grow up.
- 5:56Speaker 2: She was a little brat back in the day.
- 5:59Speaker 3: That is true, hopeful I do like her now.
- 6:03Speaker 5: I feel like she has grown up and matured a lot,
- 6:05Speaker 5: and surely she's not bullying people anymore because I do
- 6:08Speaker 5: like Miley. But back in the day, she you know,
- 6:10Speaker 5: we all we all had our days. That's three things
- 6:13Speaker 5: you need to know more at the Alabama Show dot com.
- 6:17Speaker 1: You were listening to the Alabama Show.
- 6:19Speaker 2: On Man Good Morning, Janelle.
- 6:22Speaker 5: What's your issue for Ask Alabama?
- 6:24Speaker 6: I think my husband might be having an affair.
- 6:26Speaker 2: That's why we do Ask Alabama. If you ever have
- 6:29Speaker 2: an issue, we do our best to help.
- 6:30Speaker 5: And if you ever have an issue that you need
- 6:32Speaker 5: to help with, call the show eight three three five
- 6:34Speaker 5: o one and Bama is the number.
- 6:36Speaker 2: What is going on?
- 6:37Speaker 3: Okay, so this is really weird.
- 6:40Speaker 6: So my husband he often talks in his sleep.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Okay, if you see these.
- 6:43Speaker 6: Weird silly stuff never really makes sense.
- 6:47Speaker 2: It is sleep like he's saying stuff.
- 6:49Speaker 6: Yeah, like if you's a sleeper, even like half asleep,
- 6:52Speaker 6: he might kind.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Of just mumble weird stuff.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Okay.
- 6:55Speaker 6: And the other night though, he said something kind of
- 6:57Speaker 6: more weird than normal.
- 6:59Speaker 2: What these say we like he was sleeping on the.
- 7:02Speaker 6: Couch kind of dozing off, and I was gonna wake
- 7:04Speaker 6: him up to pick him to bed. I said like, hey,
- 7:06Speaker 6: I'm going to run to.
- 7:07Speaker 2: The Bathum let's go to bed.
- 7:08Speaker 6: And then he said, like he said, or I could
- 7:12Speaker 6: leave notes around so that you think I'm having an affair,
- 7:16Speaker 6: or I can keep pretending I'm not.
- 7:18Speaker 3: What's right?
- 7:20Speaker 2: It was weird.
- 7:21Speaker 6: So I asked him about it, you know, and he
- 7:24Speaker 6: said I should just pretend he didn't say anything because
- 7:28Speaker 6: I know how he is.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Was it just like a really weird dream or something?
- 7:31Speaker 2: Or should I take this seriously?
- 7:34Speaker 4: Producer Blake, I think it was just more of a bit.
- 7:37Speaker 2: If he's a funny dude, I don't think it's that's
- 7:39Speaker 2: not a bit.
- 7:40Speaker 3: He was half asleep. When you're half asleep, the druth
- 7:43Speaker 3: comes out. What you're thinking?
- 7:45Speaker 2: No, call the show? Hey three thirty five I one
- 7:49Speaker 2: Bama is the number.
- 7:50Speaker 5: Do you think it's a big deal that Janelle's husband
- 7:53Speaker 5: half asleep said something about having an affair?
- 7:56Speaker 2: Or No? Eight three thirty five I one two two six.
- 8:00Speaker 1: You were listening to the Alabama Show on demand?
- 8:04Speaker 5: Steven, good morning, What do you think about the girl
- 8:06Speaker 5: whose husband said he was having a fair an affair
- 8:09Speaker 5: half asleep.
- 8:10Speaker 8: I have to agree with Blake because what you're thinking
- 8:14Speaker 8: in a movie.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Well, if she don't have any other evidence, No, he said,
- 8:21Speaker 3: I'm pretending I'm not having an affair.
- 8:24Speaker 2: That was the evidence. It came out of his mouth.
- 8:27Speaker 8: Well, I can tell you that I sleep with my
- 8:29Speaker 8: TV on sometimes and I'll be dreaming about the show.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Look, I'm in the show.
- 8:34Speaker 8: So I wouldn't assume anything unless she's got more evidence.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Than just that. What was the last show that you
- 8:43Speaker 2: were in in your dreams?
- 8:44Speaker 8: Walking down zombiere? I was I was killing the zombie Okay,
- 8:53Speaker 8: I thought my I.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Was I was producer Blake from the Alabama Show and.
- 8:58Speaker 5: They had taken over your studio and I'm for taking
- 9:01Speaker 5: So I love that.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Steven, thank you for Colin.
- 9:04Speaker 4: Thank you all right, bye.
- 9:06Speaker 1: It's three things you need to know you with the
- 9:08Speaker 1: Elemma Show.
- 9:09Speaker 5: We're going to have a near total lunar eclipse visible
- 9:12Speaker 5: across Alabama Thursday night, So about ninety six percent of
- 9:16Speaker 5: the moon is going to be covered. The peak is
- 9:19Speaker 5: going to be at around eleven twelve pm. You don't
- 9:22Speaker 5: need special glasses. So Thursday night, if you think about it,
- 9:24Speaker 5: go outside and look. It'll be kind of cool. Bonnaroo
- 9:28Speaker 5: is taking a break. The festival announced on Friday that
- 9:31Speaker 5: it canceled it shows for twenty twenty seven after severe
- 9:34Speaker 5: storms hit the grounds for the second year straight. Organizers
- 9:39Speaker 5: said Bonnery will be taking a much needed year off
- 9:41Speaker 5: in twenty twenty seven because you remember two years ago
- 9:44Speaker 5: they had to cancel the whole fest like it was bad.
- 9:46Speaker 5: People were stuck, it got flooded and storms were bad. Well,
- 9:49Speaker 5: then this year's festival was in June and severe weather
- 9:52Speaker 5: messed up the last day and they had to cancel
- 9:54Speaker 5: the last day.
- 9:54Speaker 2: So they're taking a break in twenty twenty seven.
- 9:58Speaker 5: Honey Booboo sister Pumpkin is on OnlyFans and she just
- 10:04Speaker 5: told the world how much she's making a day?
- 10:06Speaker 4: How much should she make it a day?
- 10:08Speaker 5: So if you are following Pumpkin on social media, also
- 10:12Speaker 5: on Instagram, she's been her content has changed and this
- 10:16Speaker 5: has caused controversy because her daughter apparently got kicked out
- 10:20Speaker 5: of their private the private school she was in because
- 10:23Speaker 5: of Pumpkin's Instagram. So I noticed her post something yesterday
- 10:27Speaker 5: and I clicked in the comments and people are fired up.
- 10:29Speaker 5: They were like, why don't you quit posting this so
- 10:31Speaker 5: your daughter can go back to school?
- 10:33Speaker 2: Well, Pumpkin did interview. She's making fifteen thousand dollars a day.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Fifteen thousand dollars a day.
- 10:38Speaker 7: Day she's gonna pay for another She could buy the
- 10:42Speaker 7: school if she wanted to.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Are you kidding me?
- 10:45Speaker 3: What kind of life is this household?
- 10:48Speaker 5: She said, it's about being able to provide her kids
- 10:51Speaker 5: with a much better lifestyle. So that's why she does it. So,
- 10:53Speaker 5: I mean, that's all I must say about it.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Okay, done. I think she'd need to know more. At
- 10:59Speaker 2: the Alabama Show.
- 11:01Speaker 1: We're listening to the Alabama Show on demand.
- 11:04Speaker 5: I have great news. This is the part of the
- 11:06Speaker 5: show where we share the things that make us happy. Okay,
- 11:09Speaker 5: call the show eight three three five one Bama. I
- 11:11Speaker 5: think this is a great practice to do every morning
- 11:14Speaker 5: because it gets.
- 11:15Speaker 2: You in the right mindset for the day.
- 11:16Speaker 5: So if your husband washed the dishes, if your kids
- 11:19Speaker 5: didn't get in trouble at school, if your boss called
- 11:22Speaker 5: in sick today, that all could count as good news.
- 11:25Speaker 5: Anything could be good news, or you can have bought
- 11:27Speaker 5: anyhow some people have big life changes and call us yeah.
- 11:31Speaker 2: My good news.
- 11:32Speaker 7: Yes for the week, for the week of this week,
- 11:37Speaker 7: last week of October, October August to October, Pumpkin spice
- 11:42Speaker 7: latte is are back tomorrow.
- 11:44Speaker 4: That's not good news for me.
- 11:45Speaker 5: We're going to bring back a game that we like
- 11:47Speaker 5: to play with Producer Blake. It's called Wheel of Pumpkin
- 11:51Speaker 5: and we spin the wheel and we have Producer Blake
- 11:54Speaker 5: try pumpkin spice latte things, all the pumpkins spice.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Last year it was dude whites.
- 11:59Speaker 5: There was chapstick, there was a spray, somebody.
- 12:02Speaker 4: Sent popcorn, there was an ointment.
- 12:05Speaker 5: I already talked to the Starbucks girls this morning on
- 12:08Speaker 5: my way into work and I said, get ready tomorrow.
- 12:10Speaker 5: I'm ordering all the pumpkin things for Producer Blake to try.
- 12:15Speaker 4: I'm not ready. I don't want to do this. I
- 12:18Speaker 4: don't want to I don't like pumpkin. I do not
- 12:20Speaker 4: like it.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Girl season, it is coming back.
- 12:24Speaker 5: So if you're ready, to make sure you're listening tomorrow
- 12:26Speaker 5: for that at seven o'clock. But eight three three five
- 12:29Speaker 5: one Bama is the number to call if you want
- 12:31Speaker 5: to share your good news.
- 12:32Speaker 1: You were listening to the Alabama Show. The following program
- 12:36Speaker 1: is hon to men.
- 12:37Speaker 2: I went on a date this weekend.
- 12:40Speaker 4: I'm proud of you.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Good job.
- 12:43Speaker 5: Thanks for listening to the Alabama Show. I'm Alabama with
- 12:46Speaker 5: producer Blake.
- 12:46Speaker 2: I went on a date and I almost died on
- 12:48Speaker 2: the date.
- 12:49Speaker 4: How did you almost die on the date?
- 12:51Speaker 2: So I met up with this guy from TikTok. I've
- 12:53Speaker 2: shown you some of his videos.
- 12:55Speaker 4: Yeah, I know who he is. Yeah he is.
- 12:56Speaker 2: So we I get I drive to his side of town.
- 13:01Speaker 2: I was like, let me drive to your side of town.
- 13:03Speaker 2: I want to get out of my town. And I
- 13:05Speaker 2: show up and I made him at his house.
- 13:07Speaker 4: Okay, so he drove. I'm assuming to the date or.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Did you I just said I met him at his house. Yeah,
- 13:14Speaker 2: pay attention, Okay, go ahead.
- 13:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:16Speaker 2: So I met him at.
- 13:17Speaker 5: His house and he's got us side by side, and
- 13:20Speaker 5: if you don't know what to side by side, it's
- 13:22Speaker 5: like a what like the next thing.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Up from a golf cart, but not a car. He's
- 13:26Speaker 2: got it like a like a ranger or a gator
- 13:28Speaker 2: or some people call it.
- 13:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:30Speaker 5: So I get there and I'm like, let's go do
- 13:31Speaker 5: country stuff. Let's go right around to the country. So
- 13:34Speaker 5: we ride around and we're driving through like the neighborhood
- 13:38Speaker 5: and pastures and cows and stuff.
- 13:40Speaker 4: Yeah, the country boys.
- 13:42Speaker 2: So then he goes, I have a friend that has
- 13:44Speaker 2: a farm. Okay, let's go there and ride his side
- 13:47Speaker 2: by side. Okay. At this point, it's the dark outside,
- 13:52Speaker 2: and we get to.
- 13:53Speaker 5: The middle of nowhere and he's like, it's like thousands
- 13:56Speaker 5: of acres and I went, okay, we're gonna get lost.
- 13:58Speaker 2: He's like, no, we'll be good. I know these trails
- 14:00Speaker 2: all right, them all the time. I went, Okay, I'm
- 14:02Speaker 2: gonna trust you.
- 14:03Speaker 4: I assue where this is going. Yeah.
- 14:06Speaker 5: So we start right like we go down this trail
- 14:09Speaker 5: and it's like a dirt road and it's all woods,
- 14:12Speaker 5: middle of nowhere.
- 14:13Speaker 2: I've never been here before. And off in the distance
- 14:16Speaker 2: there was lightning.
- 14:18Speaker 5: And then we start driving up this road and there's
- 14:21Speaker 5: a giant lake and there's.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Like a tall whatever that wall, like a rock wall.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Like a quarry, like if like a hundred foot wall.
- 14:31Speaker 5: I don't know distances, you know what I mean, like
- 14:33Speaker 5: a cliff and the lake and the road.
- 14:36Speaker 2: We're riding up the steep hill that's curved around is
- 14:39Speaker 2: the cliff. And I noticed the dirt when we're going up,
- 14:41Speaker 2: because it's a little.
- 14:42Speaker 5: Bit loose like sand, and I'm like, if we fell
- 14:45Speaker 5: off the edge into the pond, this.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Could be really bad. And we keep going and we
- 14:50Speaker 2: get like half a mile further and all.
- 14:51Speaker 5: Of a sudden, the wind starts blowing and all the
- 14:54Speaker 5: trees are cracking.
- 14:55Speaker 2: You can hear the trees breaking in.
- 14:56Speaker 5: The distance, and all the leaves start coming down, and.
- 14:59Speaker 2: I went, hey, I think the storm's getting close. I
- 15:01Speaker 2: think we need to get out of here. He goes, no,
- 15:04Speaker 2: we're good as long as we just get to the
- 15:05Speaker 2: tree line. If it hits this sounds like a horror movie.
- 15:09Speaker 2: We keep going.
- 15:10Speaker 5: We get further up and I was like, the wind
- 15:14Speaker 5: starts getting harder and harder, and I was like, this
- 15:17Speaker 5: is stressing me out.
- 15:18Speaker 3: And we get up to the top of the hill
- 15:20Speaker 3: and he goes, let me look.
- 15:20Speaker 2: At the radar.
- 15:21Speaker 5: There's no service to look at the radar to see
- 15:23Speaker 5: if the storm's coming over us. But the lightning is
- 15:25Speaker 5: getting closer now at this point, and then.
