- 1:45Speaker 4: also love to hold each other accountable because we believe
- 1:50Speaker 4: that the ingrafted word is able to save our souls.
- 1:53Speaker 4: But that's the key. We have to raft the word
- 1:58Speaker 4: of God. We have to allow it to become a
- 2:01Speaker 4: part of our dna. Amen. And also we believe that
- 2:07Speaker 4: the broad road is a road that leads to destruction,
- 2:12Speaker 4: and that is the very words from our savior, Jesus Christ,
- 2:18Speaker 4: and he says that there is a narrow path that
- 2:21Speaker 4: leads to life and there are a few who find it.
- 2:25Speaker 4: So consider us your small group on the radio station.
- 2:29Speaker 4: We are traveling down that narrow path. We are headed
- 2:34Speaker 4: to life, and we are trying to snatch souls from
- 2:39Speaker 4: that intersection. Right. We're trying to take everyone that we
- 2:42Speaker 4: can with us off of that broad road and let
- 2:46Speaker 4: us walk down this narrow path and allow the word
- 2:50Speaker 4: of God to light the way. Amen. And also you
- 2:55Speaker 4: can come and check us out on our website Honation
- 3:00Speaker 4: dot com. Everything that we got going you can find
- 3:04Speaker 4: it on the website all of our social media links
- 3:07Speaker 4: as well. And once again, we are thankful that you
- 3:14Speaker 4: are here. Amen. Now turn your Bibles to Acts. Chapter
- 3:22Speaker 4: sixteen is where we're gonna pick it up today. We're
- 3:25Speaker 4: gonna go through verse one through five. We're just gonna
- 3:29Speaker 4: break it down and bite size pieces. We're gonna look
- 3:32Speaker 4: into the Word today, so grab your bibles and no
- 3:35Speaker 4: pass in your highlighters. As we do this, Let's go
- 3:40Speaker 4: before our Father in prayer. Heavenly Father, we thank you
- 3:43Speaker 4: for another day. We thank you for waking us up.
- 3:45Speaker 4: We think you that it was your will today for
- 3:48Speaker 4: us to wake up, for us to have breath in
- 3:51Speaker 4: our lungs, for us to call up on the name
- 3:54Speaker 4: of the Lord, and y'all closer to you. We thank you.
- 3:57Speaker 4: You are a good God. We thank you you are
- 4:00Speaker 4: a good, good father. And we ask a God that
- 4:04Speaker 4: you will draw people into the Kingdom, that you use
- 4:08Speaker 4: me as a vessel, that you will anoint and use
- 4:11Speaker 4: this podcast in a powerful way to reach Soul's father.
- 4:16Speaker 4: And we asked this in Jesus' name. Hey man, all right,
- 4:25Speaker 4: all right, So, as I said, we're going to be
- 4:29Speaker 4: in Acts chapter sixteen today. We just finished Acts chapter fifteen,
- 4:37Speaker 4: and we looked at Paul and barnabas as they had
- 4:42Speaker 4: a disagreement and they both separated. But these men did
- 4:48Speaker 4: not sin. It was something that just basically happened. And
- 4:55Speaker 4: God is still moving in the midst of them now.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Chapter sixteen we're also going to see something powerful. We're
- 5:04Speaker 4: going to see a young disciple. His name is Timothy,
- 5:09Speaker 4: and of course this is the same Timothy that has
- 5:12Speaker 4: a book named after him in the Bible. He is
- 5:16Speaker 4: forever recorded in scripture for all generations to read. Amazing, Hallelujah.
- 5:25Speaker 4: And we're also going to see a strategic decision by
- 5:29Speaker 4: Paul the Apostle. We're going to see the balance between
- 5:33Speaker 4: grace and wisdom and the strengthening of the early Church.
- 5:41Speaker 4: So this episode is about preparation, reputation in spiritual maturity.
- 5:50Speaker 4: So let's dive right into it a man and break
- 5:53Speaker 4: it all down. So verse one, Then he came to Derby.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Now keep in mind this is after the split. This
- 6:02Speaker 4: is after the separation, and he has a whole new
- 6:06Speaker 4: ministry team that he's going out with. Then the original
- 6:11Speaker 4: team which was him and Barnabas and the people that
- 6:15Speaker 4: came with them. Now this new team then went to
- 6:20Speaker 4: Derby and Lystra and behold, a certain disciple was there
- 6:26Speaker 4: named Timothy, the son of a certain Jewish woman who believed.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Now that's important, right there, this Jewish woman who believed
- 6:39Speaker 4: in the Messiah. But his father was a Greek so
- 6:44Speaker 4: she was married to a gentile, a Greek person. Now
- 6:55Speaker 4: what's happening is this Paul arrives in and he meets Timothy.
- 7:04Speaker 4: Now Timothy has a believing Jewish mother, which is so powerful,
- 7:12Speaker 4: and we're going to talk about that in a few seconds.
- 7:15Speaker 4: Here a Greek father. But Timothy is already known as
- 7:24Speaker 4: a disciple before Paul even meets meets him. Right, he
- 7:33Speaker 4: is known to be a disciple. So this emphasizes the importance.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Now listen up, parents, This emphasizes the importance of godly
- 7:49Speaker 4: parenting and given our children a strong spiritual foundation. Now,
- 7:58Speaker 4: he noted that Timothy's faith likely came through the influence
- 8:05Speaker 4: of his mother and also his grandmother. Paul notices this
- 8:11Speaker 4: if you look up two Timothy, chapter one, verse five, Right.
- 8:19Speaker 4: But the truth is Timothy did not become strong overnight.
- 8:27Speaker 4: He was discipled at home. Home is such a powerful
- 8:36Speaker 4: foundation for our children. I mean, even today, think about
- 8:45Speaker 4: the public schools. Think about back in the forties and
- 8:50Speaker 4: fifties and sixties when the family was more structured and stronger,
- 8:58Speaker 4: where you learn most of your education at home. See
- 9:04Speaker 4: today we rely on the public schools. Public school teachers
- 9:10Speaker 4: who have classes that are oversized. It's almost impossible for
- 9:18Speaker 4: them to give every child the attention that they need
- 9:22Speaker 4: to actually learn the material. But they're not learning this
- 9:27Speaker 4: at home. At home most likely. You know my generation,
- 9:34Speaker 4: we grew up under the latch they called us the
- 9:36Speaker 4: latch key generation, where the child came home, the parents
- 9:42Speaker 4: are out working. The child had their own key. They
- 9:45Speaker 4: didn't have their parents to meet them at the house,
- 9:47Speaker 4: so they're at the house for hours by themselves. They could,
- 9:54Speaker 4: you know, watch TV, play video games, eat what they wanted.
- 9:57Speaker 4: They basically raised themselves until the parents got home. And
- 10:04Speaker 4: how many of us went straight to do our homework
- 10:10Speaker 4: or did what we were supposed to do. Very few.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Lost another one.
- 10:17Speaker 4: So it's great to have someone meets you when you
- 10:21Speaker 4: come home from school, to have something prepared and to
- 10:28Speaker 4: give them structure, someone there to sit down to help
- 10:32Speaker 4: them to do their homework or to help them with
- 10:35Speaker 4: whatever may be on their heart. But even greater than that,
- 10:38Speaker 4: someone to help them walk through scripture and teach them
- 10:43Speaker 4: about God. This is what Timothy had. He had a
- 10:47Speaker 4: strong home foundation. And look at the worst. That's train
- 10:53Speaker 4: up the child and the way that he should go.
- 10:56Speaker 4: And when he's older, you will not depart from the way.
- 11:01Speaker 4: So it's very important to have a strong spiritual foundation
- 11:06Speaker 4: in the home. Nowadays, people drop off their kids to
- 11:11Speaker 4: Sunday school because it's free daycare for him. Right. They
- 11:14Speaker 4: want a couple hours of they want to break or
- 11:16Speaker 4: they want to go out and you know, have breakfast
- 11:20Speaker 4: or something. Or they send their kids to church and
- 11:24Speaker 4: they don't go themselves. That is a bad example.
- 11:29Speaker 5: Right.
- 11:30Speaker 4: We need godly parents to help our children to have
- 11:34Speaker 4: a strong and godly background. Now, before public ministry, there
- 11:45Speaker 4: was a private foundation. Now Timothy, Timothy wasn't chasing a platform.
- 11:57Speaker 4: What was going on in his life. He was building
- 12:00Speaker 4: a godly character. Right. We live in a generation that
- 12:08Speaker 4: wants influence before integrity. When you say that again, we
- 12:15Speaker 4: live in a generation they want the platform, they want
- 12:19Speaker 4: the fame and the fortune, but they don't want the
- 12:23Speaker 4: integrity to sustain that type of a lifetime lifestyle. Right.
- 12:31Speaker 4: But right here in Acts sixteen, it shows us that
- 12:34Speaker 4: character proceeds the calling of God. And this is a
- 12:40Speaker 4: lesson that I had to learn the hard way because
- 12:45Speaker 4: I had a huge platform, but I was still developing
- 12:50Speaker 4: a godly character at the same time. Love if we're
- 12:55Speaker 4: in a place if we have that godly foundation in
- 12:58Speaker 4: the home, or or if we're in a place where
- 13:01Speaker 4: we're being taught the word, being trained up by a
- 13:05Speaker 4: godly pastor who believes in the Word of God, then
- 13:09Speaker 4: you are ahead of a lot of people out there.
- 13:13Speaker 4: And man, because I came from a broken home and
- 13:17Speaker 4: my foundation in church was rocky at the best. But
- 13:22Speaker 4: I did the best I could in the call. And
- 13:27Speaker 4: now I'm in a time in a period where I
- 13:30Speaker 4: am developing that godly character. And the timeframe I believe
- 13:36Speaker 4: depends on us. The more stubborn, the more disobedient, the
- 13:43Speaker 4: more we neglect this training, it'll take longer for us
- 13:46Speaker 4: to realize the call of God in our lives. But
- 13:51Speaker 4: if we allow God to do the work, if we cooperate,
- 13:53Speaker 4: if we're obedient, if we're seeking, if we are preparing,
- 13:56Speaker 4: if we're helping God prepare us being where we need
- 14:01Speaker 4: to be right, a life of devotion, a life of prayer,
- 14:09Speaker 4: showing up faithfully to church, showing up where God has
- 14:13Speaker 4: called you to come. Amen. Even being faithful to this
- 14:18Speaker 4: podcast can help develop that godly character so that you
- 14:24Speaker 4: can realize the call of God in your life. Amen,
- 14:30Speaker 4: Verse two, He was well spoken of by the brethren
- 14:35Speaker 4: who were at Listra in Lyconium Iconium. Now, notice that
- 14:42Speaker 4: he had a reputation. Amen. Now the Greek idea implies
- 14:52Speaker 4: Timothy witnesses affirming his consistency. Let me say that again,
- 15:02Speaker 4: Timothy had witnesses who were affirming that this man is consistent.
- 15:13Speaker 4: He has consistency. Now, leadership in the early Church was
- 15:19Speaker 4: based on observable fruits. Jesus himself said, examine the fruit.
- 15:30Speaker 4: We could tell by their fruits. Timothy was in self appointed.
- 15:37Speaker 4: He was recognized by other people. Amen. That is rare today.
- 15:46Speaker 4: How many people in your local church get their position
- 15:53Speaker 4: in their ministry because other people voted for them. Other
- 15:58Speaker 4: people recognize what was on their lives, versus people who
- 16:04Speaker 4: are ambitious, or should we say, a selfish type of ambition.
- 16:11Speaker 4: There's nothing wrong with the godly ambition, but a self
- 16:16Speaker 4: centered they want to promote themselves, and people like that,
- 16:21Speaker 4: it takes longer for them to realize a call of
- 16:25Speaker 4: God on their lives. Amen. Before God promotes you publicly,
- 16:38Speaker 4: he establishes your testimony privately. You got to meet him
- 16:44Speaker 4: in the private place. You gotta prepare, Hey, man, Timothy
- 16:52Speaker 4: didn't advertise himself. Others testified about him in his care character,
- 17:01Speaker 4: his consistency to serve the Lord. Now at this point,
- 17:05Speaker 4: ask yourself, if believers described your spiritual life, what would
- 17:13Speaker 4: they say about you? What would they say about me?
- 17:20Speaker 4: Reputation matters in the Kingdom of God Amen, verse three.
- 17:29Speaker 4: Paul wanted to have him go with him, and he
- 17:32Speaker 4: took him and circumcised him because of the Jews. Now
- 17:40Speaker 4: this is interesting. In the Acts fifteen just established that
- 17:46Speaker 4: circumcision was not required for salvation. Didn't we just go
- 17:51Speaker 4: through this whole debate, Yes, we did. So why did
- 17:57Speaker 4: he do this? Why he take Timothy and circumcise him
- 18:02Speaker 4: after they just contended for the faith and had a
- 18:06Speaker 4: whole meeting, meeting in the in the Mother Church in Jerusalem,
- 18:14Speaker 4: and came out with a decision. Now here's the key
- 18:20Speaker 4: distinction between this. This was not for salvation. He didn't
- 18:25Speaker 4: tell Timothy, if you want to be saved, you have
- 18:28Speaker 4: to be circumcised. No, this was a strategy. This was
- 18:36Speaker 4: strategic on Paul's part. See, Timothy had a Jewish mother,
- 18:44Speaker 4: so ministry to the Jews would raise questions about his background.
- 18:53Speaker 4: So Paul removed the barrier. He wanted to be able
- 18:57Speaker 4: to minister to the Jewish believe and this was for
- 19:04Speaker 4: the sake of fellowship, not for the sake of salvation.
- 19:13Speaker 4: Paul would never compromise the Gospel. I truly believe in
- 19:18Speaker 4: his character, in his reputation, Paul was not like that.
- 19:25Speaker 4: But he would remove unnecessary stumbling blocks. He didn't want
- 19:33Speaker 4: people to stumble over any stumbling block if that meant
- 19:40Speaker 4: shipwrecking your faith. Right now, that's the difference between compromising
- 19:46Speaker 4: doctrine and adjusting your approach. We are never to compromise
- 19:52Speaker 4: the doctrine or water down the Word of God, but
- 19:57Speaker 4: we can adjust our approach. We don't have to be obnoxious.
- 20:02Speaker 4: We can remove barriers. I know that there's churches out
- 20:08Speaker 4: there today, they call them seekert friendly churches where they
- 20:13Speaker 4: don't talk about sin. They don't preach repentance, they don't preach,
- 20:21Speaker 4: you know, turning away from a life of sin. They
- 20:26Speaker 4: tell you, you know, pat you on the head and
- 20:29Speaker 4: say your sin is okay while you're on your way
- 20:31Speaker 4: to hell. That's a church that is compromising the word. Now,
- 20:38Speaker 4: just in your approach. You know, Paul talks about don't
- 20:40Speaker 4: eat meat. If it causes your brother to stumble right
- 20:45Speaker 4: different things like that, that's a loving thing to do,
- 20:49Speaker 4: is to be concerned about the faith of others. Paul
- 20:54Speaker 4: was flexible and non essentils but he was immovable when
- 21:02Speaker 4: it comes to the truth. And that's what we need
- 21:05Speaker 4: to be. We need to be immovable when it comes
- 21:10Speaker 4: to the truth. Now, the Gospel does not change our methods.
- 21:18Speaker 4: Can We can change our methods, but we cannot change
- 21:22Speaker 4: the gospel one bit. There's a warning in the Bible
- 21:26Speaker 4: who says, who takes away or adds to this gospel,
- 21:31Speaker 4: these plagues in his book would be added to him.
- 21:33Speaker 4: And there's some nasty plagues in the Bible. Love it.
- 21:37Speaker 4: It ain't worth that smoke, I'm telling you. But that's
- 21:41Speaker 4: maturity when you're able to adjust your methods. I mean,
- 21:46Speaker 4: look at us club his hot We opened up a
- 21:48Speaker 4: Christianity hip hop club. We didn't change the gospel. That
- 21:52Speaker 4: was just a method to carry the gospel to our community.
- 21:59Speaker 4: Some believers are are rigid about cultural matters instead of
- 22:06Speaker 4: being committed to the mission. Now Paul understood this. If
- 22:11Speaker 4: something isn't sin and it helps the gospel, do it.
- 22:20Speaker 4: Think about Naki Nike, just do it if it's not sin,
- 22:25Speaker 4: but it helps the gospel. Come on, let's get it done.
- 22:33Speaker 4: Strategy is not surrendering to false teaching and false doctrine.
- 22:37Speaker 4: A man, all right. Verse four. And as they went
- 22:43Speaker 4: through the cities, they delivered to them the decree to keep.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Now they are reinforcing what was decided in Jerusalem. Salvation
- 23:00Speaker 4: is by grace. Hallelujah. Let me say that again. Salvation
- 23:07Speaker 4: is by grace. Notice the balance timpthy was circumcised for outreach.
- 23:14Speaker 4: Gentiles were not required to be circumcised for salvation. Now
- 23:21Speaker 4: that's the illogical clarity. The grace of God remains intact,
- 23:31Speaker 4: is not distorted and has not changed. Amen. Now Verse five,
- 23:40Speaker 4: So the churches were strengthened in the faith and increased
- 23:44Speaker 4: in number daily. Now strengthened and increased. This is we
- 23:50Speaker 4: need to pray for our modern day church to be
- 23:55Speaker 4: strengthened and increased. Amen, we need to add that to
- 24:00Speaker 4: our prayer lists. Now. The Greek concept behind strengthen implies
- 24:06Speaker 4: established a stabilized, stabilizing. If I can say the word
- 24:12Speaker 4: or reinforcement. Healthy churches grow because they are grounded. They
- 24:21Speaker 4: do not grow because of hype. They do not grow
- 24:25Speaker 4: because of emotionalism. They grow because of doctrine. Amen. Growth
- 24:36Speaker 4: that isn't rooted will collapse. Let me say that again.
- 24:42Speaker 4: Growth that does not have a foundation in the Truth,
- 24:47Speaker 4: that is not rooted in the Gospel is weak. It
- 24:52Speaker 4: will collapse. But when believers are grounded in truth, growth
- 24:59Speaker 4: becomes sustainable. It's a sustainable movement. When the truth is involved. Strengthen,
- 25:10Speaker 4: strength will produce increase. That's just a byproduct of it.
- 25:17Speaker 4: When you're strong, you will increase. You will attract others
- 25:21Speaker 4: to yourself. If you want increase in your life, pursue
- 25:29Speaker 4: strength first. Don't skip any classes right. Begin to prepare yourself.
- 25:39Speaker 4: Begin to allow the process in your life where God
- 25:48Speaker 4: is preparing you. It's going to take discipline, it's going
- 25:57Speaker 4: to take commitment. Now. Character qualifies you for the call
- 26:08Speaker 4: of God in your life. Timothy was known before he
- 26:13Speaker 4: was chosen by Paul. He was already known in the community.
- 26:27Speaker 4: Now strategy that supports the mission. Paul adjusted his method,
- 26:40Speaker 4: not the message. We have to be strategic. The Bible
- 26:43Speaker 4: says to be wise as a serpent, but as gentle
- 26:47Speaker 4: as a dove. Sometimes he might have to change strategies.
- 26:54Speaker 4: That's a his how nation right there, right The reputation
- 27:00Speaker 4: also matters in heaven. The church affirmed Timothy before Paul
- 27:07Speaker 4: selected him. What would the brethren and our sisters say
- 27:12Speaker 4: about you if we visited your church and we started
- 27:16Speaker 4: to interview people concerning your character and your fruit, what
- 27:22Speaker 4: would they say? What kind of reputation do you have
- 27:26Speaker 4: in the local body? Amen, strength will lead us to growth,
- 27:37Speaker 4: strengthen in the faith, and they increased daily Verse five,
- 27:46Speaker 4: They were strengthen in the faith, and they increased daily.
- 27:54Speaker 4: Strength will affect growth. It needs to go to the gym.
- 28:03Speaker 4: We need to exercise our faith. That's a podcast topic
- 28:08Speaker 4: right there. How do we exercise our faith? How do
- 28:12Speaker 4: we take our faith to the gym? And man I
- 28:16Speaker 4: was speaking with our brother's own three after the podcast
- 28:19Speaker 4: the other day, and he was saying that he's working out.
- 28:23Speaker 4: He works out while he's listening to the podcast, So
- 28:28Speaker 4: he's strengthening his body as he's strengthening his faith at
- 28:34Speaker 4: the same time. Because remember the Bible tells us that
- 28:38Speaker 4: faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
- 28:43Speaker 4: We strengthen our faith the more we dig deep and
- 28:47Speaker 4: learn the word hallelujah and apply it now. Let's get real, beloved.
- 28:56Speaker 4: Are you chasing position without preparation? That's an accountability question
- 29:03Speaker 4: right there, right Are you chasing position without the preparation
- 29:08Speaker 4: for it? Are you demanding promotion without the formation? Right now?
- 29:20Speaker 4: Ask the Holy Spirit, build my character before you expand
- 29:26Speaker 4: my platform. Amen, I'm adding this to my prayer list. Hallelujah,
- 29:33Speaker 4: build my character before you expand my platform. Growth in
- 29:41Speaker 4: God's Kingdom starts internally. If you want to be strengthened
- 29:51Speaker 4: in the faith. If you agree with me on this point,
- 30:01Speaker 4: just pray this with me real quick. Lord, stabilize me,
- 30:10Speaker 4: mature me, and prepare me. I commit myself to the
- 30:18Speaker 4: process of preparation. Give me the character. Help me to
- 30:26Speaker 4: develop the character that I need to fulfill the call
- 30:32Speaker 4: that is on my life. I cooperate, I submit, and
- 30:40Speaker 4: I partner with your spirit and with your word. And
- 30:46Speaker 4: I pray this in Jesus' name. Amen. Time for a
- 30:52Speaker 4: quick break.
- 30:54Speaker 2: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 30:58Speaker 2: is the Hiss Hop radio show.

- 35:30Speaker 4: sometimes where our bacon can be saved. Right. Sometimes we
- 35:35Speaker 4: get crazy thoughts, crazy emotions, crazy desires in our head
- 35:41Speaker 4: and we have to have someone faithfully in our life
- 35:45Speaker 4: that can slap us across the face right like, you know,
- 35:49Speaker 4: let's get that thought out your head. That is nothing
- 35:53Speaker 4: but the enemy. You know, our flesh is not our friend.
- 35:57Speaker 4: You know, our biggest enemy is self. The remedy for
- 36:01Speaker 4: the self life. You know what God tells us to
- 36:03Speaker 4: do about the self, He says, kill it, put it
- 36:08Speaker 4: on the cross. We are supposed to die daily to ourself. Amen,
- 36:15Speaker 4: and submit to God and submit to God's word. That's
- 36:20Speaker 4: the whole duty of man is to fear God and
- 36:23Speaker 4: keep his commandments. If we're not keeping his commandments, then
- 36:27Speaker 4: we're not answering the call to our very existence. So

- 37:09Speaker 4: things as a family, because we all have something that

- 37:17Speaker 4: for Jesus. He's the only superman in this whole thing.

- 37:59Speaker 4: He had his mother and his grandmother to lay down
- 38:03Speaker 4: that foundation. Also his Hot Nation, his hot radio. Excuse

- 39:25Speaker 4: The question for today is what two cities are mentioned
- 39:28Speaker 4: where Timothy was well spoken of? Once again, what two
- 39:34Speaker 4: cities are mentioned where Timothy was well spoken of? First
- 39:42Speaker 4: one to post the answer gets the bragging rights, all right,
- 39:49Speaker 4: it's time for our community shout out. As we said,
- 39:54Speaker 4: you know, we're in the process of working on a mirror.
- 39:59Speaker 4: We took up a whole wall at Valley High School
- 40:05Speaker 4: and it was amazing partnering with them and we're pretty
- 40:10Speaker 4: much at the end of the project. Also, we want
- 40:15Speaker 4: to just update you let you know that there's new
- 40:17Speaker 4: features on the app. You've got new games on there.

- 40:25Speaker 4: them or go over them. There's a Bible on the
- 40:29Speaker 4: app you can look up scripture. There's also a prayer room.

- 40:38Speaker 4: the prayer room. You can even market when it's answered.
- 40:42Speaker 4: There's a spot where we can chat with one another
- 40:47Speaker 4: and man, we're giving you tools to succeed on this
- 40:50Speaker 4: narrow road. Hallelujah. Also, we want to let you know

- 42:28Speaker 4: And now I have some closing comments as we close
- 42:33Speaker 4: out acts. Chapter sixteen, verse one through five reminds us
- 42:38Speaker 4: that character matters, that our strategy matters. We got to
- 42:44Speaker 4: be strategic in how we carry the gospel in our communities,
- 42:51Speaker 4: and it teaches us that doctrine matters. Amen. These are
- 42:56Speaker 4: the very things that the enemy loves to attack, and
- 43:04Speaker 4: when those are aligned, the church is strengthened, and when
- 43:14Speaker 4: the church is strengthened, growth follows. We definitely need to grow.
- 43:25Speaker 4: We need to get in position where God can use
- 43:29Speaker 4: us because God wants to reach all of our communities. Amen.
- 43:36Speaker 4: We need to be prepared to allow God to train
- 43:40Speaker 4: us to be used so that we can help grow
