- 0:03Speaker 1: This is a Bramble Jam podcast.
- 0:12Speaker 2: This week on your Gabble Gabble. If you had your
- 0:14Speaker 2: wife's name to the deed of the mortgage, can she
- 0:16Speaker 2: take everything? Judge Judy's a gift horse. Don't look her
- 0:20Speaker 2: in the mouth.
- 0:21Speaker 1: And if you do a fender bender to somebody who
- 0:23Speaker 1: has a fake baby in the back, is it not
- 0:26Speaker 1: a big deal or are you need some more milk
- 0:28Speaker 1: to call your dew Judge Jerry, real people, real cases
- 0:33Speaker 1: thanke justice.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Everybody, get it, get it if you do a fender bender,
- 0:45Speaker 2: if you do not have a fender bender, or get
- 0:47Speaker 2: it if you do one. You just go out and
- 0:50Speaker 2: do a fender bender.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Just because that's not how it's traditionally said, doesn't mean
- 0:54Speaker 1: that it's wrong.
- 0:54Speaker 2: I didn't say it was wrong. I just never heard
- 0:56Speaker 2: it before. Do it just out there doing You're just
- 0:58Speaker 2: they're doing fender belt, You're you're doing them? What are
- 1:01Speaker 2: you doing today? Fender bender? Probably? See how see how
- 1:05Speaker 2: it goes after that.
- 1:06Speaker 1: I don't want to make any promise.
- 1:07Speaker 2: It's right.
- 1:08Speaker 1: You're at Judge Judy. Judy been a while, said stains
- 1:12Speaker 1: which every day you go, every time you go to
- 1:15Speaker 1: Judge Judy, you regret it. So I don't know if
- 1:17Speaker 1: it's gonna be like that today.
- 1:19Speaker 2: But she's an og. It's like I want to go
- 1:20Speaker 2: and I went to an old I didn't go to
- 1:22Speaker 2: a new one where she's like to speak a purple robe. Yeah,
- 1:27Speaker 2: but in the old one she's speaking with some pop. Yeah,
- 1:30Speaker 2: she's got.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Before that all that money kicked out, money changed, her
- 1:35Speaker 1: money changed.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Yeah. Uh, you go first, please allow me to uh.
- 1:40Speaker 2: David Williams is suing Michelle Emerick for roughly thirty thousand
- 1:45Speaker 2: dollars of furniture.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Thirty thousand dollars and appliances.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Yeah, and Michelle Emerick is countersuing him four thirty thousand
- 1:57Speaker 2: dollars of furniture and appliances as well. Listen, I know,
- 2:02Speaker 2: I know, I know what you're thinking. I don't really
- 2:05Speaker 2: understand because that's a lot. It's a lot of money
- 2:08Speaker 2: and it really but are they suing for cash? Are
- 2:10Speaker 2: they suing for the equivalent for the things? The other
- 2:15Speaker 2: one is I think also suing for the things? Where
- 2:19Speaker 2: are the things they're with? Michelle Emerick, she's an she's
- 2:23Speaker 2: a nut job, all right. So David Williams uh and
- 2:28Speaker 2: Michelle Emrick are married or yes, they were made for
- 2:31Speaker 2: nine years. And he gets a job working construction, and
- 2:35Speaker 2: he falls through the roof of the house he's working
- 2:39Speaker 2: on and and nets a substantial workers comp claim, big,
- 2:45Speaker 2: big time that a boy. All right, comp and go
- 2:50Speaker 2: do a fender.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Live hands you lemons.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Get a worker's compl So with that workers comp claim, uh,
- 2:59Speaker 2: he purchases is a brand new house all his money
- 3:03Speaker 2: so indeed his name, all his And then he gives
- 3:08Speaker 2: his wife thirty thousand dollars to furnish the house.
- 3:14Speaker 1: That's a lot. That's a lot. And so she goes
- 3:17Speaker 1: and she's a lot of furniture money, right.
- 3:18Speaker 2: It's appliances, furniture, so it's everything oven.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Still a lot. I like, I don't know.
- 3:25Speaker 2: It's a big house.
- 3:26Speaker 1: In the room, okay, the table alone, is it big?
- 3:30Speaker 2: Big? Big? Lots and lots of food in the yard.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, you're furnishing the yard. But I mean
- 3:36Speaker 2: you could play football there. She didn't get there yet.
- 3:39Speaker 2: It's my father's house. Anyway, she goes and she spends
- 3:42Speaker 2: the thirty thousand dollars furnishing the entire place.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Do we get to see any of the furniture?
- 3:49Speaker 2: Of course not Judge Judy's like, miss Emerick, you didn't
- 3:52Speaker 2: put any of your own money into the house. She
- 3:54Speaker 2: says no, And she says, so why does the house
- 3:57Speaker 2: belong to both of you? Miss Emerick says.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Because my names on the deed is her name on
- 4:01Speaker 1: the deed.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Her name is on the deed. So mister Williams, in
- 4:06Speaker 2: a show of good faith, even though he purchased the
- 4:08Speaker 2: house with all of his own money, put her name
- 4:11Speaker 2: on the deed of the it's yours. Judge Judy said
- 4:14Speaker 2: that was a huge mistake, even though they're married, huge mistake.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Why did you do that? You shouldn't have done that.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Now you in you're in for a.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Hole that is spoken like a true rich person.
- 4:24Speaker 2: That's right, Yes, why would you ever do that? So
- 4:26Speaker 2: she goes, so then you guys split up? Yes, we
- 4:28Speaker 2: split up, and because her name's on the deed, there's
- 4:31Speaker 2: an issue over who gets the stuff. And it appears
- 4:36Speaker 2: here that you filed an order of protection against each other. Now,
- 4:40Speaker 2: I think an order of protection is a restraining order.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Sounds like the same thing. And she says against each other. Yeah,
- 4:45Speaker 2: you file one against each other, And she says, that's ridiculous.
- 4:47Speaker 2: An order of protection is to protect people. You guys
- 4:50Speaker 2: are just mad at each other. And you, ma'am, did
- 4:53Speaker 2: this to get him out of this house because you
- 4:55Speaker 2: filed it first. I know you did. This is all
- 4:57Speaker 2: Judge Judy. Miss Emerick is shaking rich don't shake your
- 5:00Speaker 2: head at me. That's what you did. And I know
- 5:03Speaker 2: that's what you did. And Miss Emmerick, Michelle Emrick comes
- 5:05Speaker 2: out of more than judge. Gosh, well, this woman, I look,
- 5:11Speaker 2: she is screamed. She goes, that's wrong. He fought an
- 5:14Speaker 2: order protection against me first, but it didn't go through.
- 5:17Speaker 2: He's lying again. She says he didn't say he did,
- 5:21Speaker 2: saying she says, did you file an order protection against
- 5:24Speaker 2: your husband? Yes? And she goes, yes, I did when
- 5:27Speaker 2: he threatened to hang me and burn me. Yes, I did.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Hang and burn This.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Dude is like your honor, that's not true, hang me
- 5:35Speaker 2: and burn me. And then she goes and then I
- 5:37Speaker 2: found he had my daughter behind the door of the
- 5:41Speaker 2: washing machine. I don't know what that means. I think
- 5:45Speaker 2: he she has a they're both older, she has a daughter.
- 5:48Speaker 2: I think she's insinuating that he was having improper relations
- 5:52Speaker 2: with her daughter. I think she never says that, but
- 5:54Speaker 2: I think that's what she's talking about.
- 5:57Speaker 1: So in the washing machine.
- 6:00Speaker 2: The laundry room, there's a door behind the door or
- 6:03Speaker 2: the washing, not in the actual machine, got it. Whatever
- 6:08Speaker 2: you're into is your question, Yeah, judge says Miss Emrick.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Whose house is this? She says, it's both of ours,
- 6:16Speaker 2: and Judge Judy says, unfortunately, you're correct, and then she
- 6:20Speaker 2: looks at mister Williams and says, and that's your fault.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Williams goes, yes, ma'am, I understand that. She says. All
- 6:27Speaker 2: the courts are gonna can say to you is you
- 6:29Speaker 2: were foolish enough to put her name on the deed,
- 6:31Speaker 2: and Michelle Emrick goes, foolish. I was supporting him for years.
- 6:35Speaker 2: He got that settlement after three days on a job. Okay,
- 6:38Speaker 2: he's been living off me. At this point, Judge Judy says,
- 6:42Speaker 2: Miss Emmerick, the only thing I can tell you is
- 6:44Speaker 2: that some judge, not me, but some judge is gonna
- 6:48Speaker 2: tell you that you're gonna have to sell this house
- 6:51Speaker 2: and deal with the proceeds because that's the only way
- 6:55Speaker 2: to actually make this equitable. You need to sign a
- 6:58Speaker 2: deed that says you can sell the house. Sign the deed.
- 7:01Speaker 2: That's saying you agree to sell the house. That's right,
- 7:05Speaker 2: and william says, you're on it. That's really why I'm here.
- 7:07Speaker 2: I've got a quick deed in the in my hand
- 7:09Speaker 2: right now. Quick deed, Yeah, quick deed, quick, quick boy.
- 7:11Speaker 1: I saw deed live fast, very fast, five minutes, one song,
- 7:16Speaker 1: no encore.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Williams is like he's never raised his voice.
- 7:19Speaker 1: That your honor.
- 7:19Speaker 2: I got it right here, and Michelle Emrick interrupts again
- 7:23Speaker 2: and says, we bought that house together. You changed your mind.
- 7:26Speaker 2: I left after you put my daughter behind the closed
- 7:29Speaker 2: door in the laundry room. And I am not signing
- 7:31Speaker 2: your quick deed. Yeah, nobody, Emrick, Miss Emrick, you've got
- 7:41Speaker 2: you've got a counter suit. And also Michelle Emrick has
- 7:44Speaker 2: a cell phone. And then calling it loose leaf paper
- 7:48Speaker 2: would be nice. There is paper just strown all over
- 7:52Speaker 2: her podium, like pink, yellow, white. None of it's stacked
- 7:56Speaker 2: into anything. Wait, it's just a mess of paper in there.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Do we ever get to what was going on in
- 8:02Speaker 1: the behind the dishwasher or whatever. No.
- 8:04Speaker 2: In fact, she claims he was inappropriate in the after
- 8:07Speaker 2: interview and he was like never. I would never. I
- 8:09Speaker 2: was her stepdad for ten years. I would never do
- 8:12Speaker 2: anything of the sort. He's got tears in his eyes.
- 8:14Speaker 2: That's later. We never get any more information on it.
- 8:17Speaker 2: So she's like, she's like going hard. She keeps going
- 8:23Speaker 2: hard at Judge Judy, and Judge Judy goes, Miss Emerick,
- 8:26Speaker 2: get out, get out, get out of my courtroom. Now
- 8:30Speaker 2: she walks out. I'm like, this must be the end
- 8:32Speaker 2: of the case.
- 8:33Speaker 1: It's not.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Miss Emrick had brought a witness who is just sitting
- 8:36Speaker 2: there like stone cold, sitting there, hasn't said a thing
- 8:40Speaker 2: and doesn't say a thing for the whole court time.
- 8:43Speaker 2: But as she leaves, I noticed that this guy is
- 8:45Speaker 2: sitting here, and I'm like, So she leaves, and then
- 8:49Speaker 2: Judge Judy continues and goes, mister Williams, I can't force
- 8:53Speaker 2: her to sign a quick claim deed. There's no place
- 8:56Speaker 2: in the legal system for that. I can't make her
- 8:59Speaker 2: do it. You've got to go to an arbiter who's
- 9:01Speaker 2: gonna who's gonna assuss this things out. And she says,
- 9:04Speaker 2: why did he think that Judge.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Judy was the best place to handle this.
- 9:07Speaker 2: He just wants it done, and you will find later
- 9:09Speaker 2: he's out of money. He doesn't have any money, and
- 9:12Speaker 2: he can't work, and so there's this whole thing. So
- 9:15Speaker 2: she goes, so what was her counterclaim? And so the
- 9:17Speaker 2: way I understand it was her counterclaim is this is
- 9:21Speaker 2: I was given thirty thousand dollars as a gift from
- 9:24Speaker 2: my husband, and I use that money to buy these things,
- 9:30Speaker 2: and so I need that those things or the thirty
- 9:33Speaker 2: thousand dollars back. That's her counter That's ridiculous. Yeah, She's like,
- 9:37Speaker 2: I would have dismissed that counterclaim anyway, but I get
- 9:40Speaker 2: to dismiss it quieter now because she's been asked to leave.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Everyone chuckles. Isn't it fun. She's like, I can't help
- 9:46Speaker 2: you get his quick deeds sign tell me why you're
- 9:48Speaker 2: suing again. And he goes, she has it all, and
- 9:54Speaker 2: she said, judge you. She goes, what do you mean
- 9:56Speaker 2: she has it all? Said, your honor, she filed a
- 10:00Speaker 2: order of protection to get me out of the house.
- 10:03Speaker 2: When in the house used mister, He says, in mister
- 10:07Speaker 2: Ingram here and we go over and this this dude,
- 10:09Speaker 2: he's sitting there quiet with glasses and it just says
- 10:12Speaker 2: something Ingram at the bottom of the screen. Use the
- 10:15Speaker 2: help of mister Ingram here, got a U haul packed
- 10:19Speaker 2: up everything, like the all of the furniture, the appliances, everything,
- 10:26Speaker 2: and like left the shell of the house there. That's
- 10:30Speaker 2: all that's left. And he goes, she's not living in
- 10:32Speaker 2: the house. No, And then basically she knew the order.
- 10:36Speaker 2: He goes, she folded the order of protection that I
- 10:37Speaker 2: had abused someone I hadn't. I went and I got
- 10:41Speaker 2: the order protection falsified. They did a full background and
- 10:44Speaker 2: they were like, no, this isn't okay. But by the
- 10:47Speaker 2: time I had gotten the order of protection falsified, they
- 10:51Speaker 2: let me back in the house. It was empty, okay,
- 10:54Speaker 2: And so our house needs to be sold together. I'm
- 10:57Speaker 2: asking for all these things back so I can live here.
- 11:01Speaker 2: She has them all. I'm asking for all of these things.
- 11:04Speaker 1: I just wants to stuff back.
- 11:05Speaker 2: So I can live here until we get the rest
- 11:07Speaker 2: of this stuff done. Like that, and she is still
- 11:11Speaker 2: trying to file orders of protection against me. She's filed
- 11:13Speaker 2: another one on this day, another one on this day.
- 11:16Speaker 2: And Judge Judy's like, but you're back in the house
- 11:18Speaker 2: down He says, yes, ma'am. She asked do you have
- 11:21Speaker 2: any money left in the bank. He says no. He's
- 11:23Speaker 2: in tears. He says, I have a twenty thousand dollars CD.
- 11:27Speaker 2: It's like a mc hammer gold. Uh wow, right at
- 11:32Speaker 2: twenty thousand dollars CD that matures in a year. But
- 11:34Speaker 2: currently I have no money, I have no ability to work,
- 11:37Speaker 2: and I have nothing in my house. And it's really
- 11:40Speaker 2: really difficult. Judge Judy's ready to rule.
- 11:44Speaker 1: This is an interesting ones bonkers out there, This is
- 11:46Speaker 1: an interesting one. They clearly own the house fifty to fifty.
- 11:49Speaker 1: There's nothing that they can really do about that. I do.
- 11:57Speaker 1: I think she's gonna I think she's gonna.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Uh.
- 12:02Speaker 1: You can't just take all the stuff, right, you can't
- 12:04Speaker 1: just take all the stuff I'm gonna Uh. I don't know,
- 12:12Speaker 1: because but she technically doesn't have to give back all
- 12:15Speaker 1: of it, right, Like when you own fifty percent of
- 12:18Speaker 1: the house, it's.
- 12:19Speaker 2: You, but you stuff is technically in your name, but
- 12:22Speaker 2: it's part of it's part of the half. Yeah.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Yeah, So everything in the house is half his half hers,
- 12:27Speaker 1: So I I I don't know. I think, uh, he
- 12:32Speaker 1: should get half of the furniture back, But I don't
- 12:35Speaker 1: know how you divvy that up. So I don't know,
- 12:39Speaker 1: I'm all going on a limb here and just say
- 12:42Speaker 1: that she's gonna give him fifteen thousand dollars to buy
- 12:45Speaker 1: new furniture.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Yeah, that would make sense. She does nothing, she wow, nothing,
- 12:49Speaker 2: She says, I'm sorry, I wish I could help you.
- 12:52Speaker 2: You're gonna have to figure this out.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Bye bye wow.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Yeah, so, Judge Judy does you're of our Lord twenty eleven?
- 13:00Speaker 2: I believe that is brutal. Right now, I'm kind of
- 13:04Speaker 2: invested in this story to be artist. I want to know,
- 13:06Speaker 2: how can you google them? Yeah? I'll google them real quick.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Google them google not after, I mean, I got a
- 13:13Speaker 1: case to tell you about it, of course, Tracy. We're
- 13:16Speaker 1: at Judge Jerry's court room chambers for everybody out there.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Tracy Carthorne can't be right?
- 13:24Speaker 2: What do you mean, Tracy Carthorne, Carthorne, Carthorne, Carthorne, Carthorne, Carthorne,
- 13:31Speaker 2: how do you spell it?
- 13:32Speaker 1: C A R T h R T h R O
- 13:35Speaker 1: N all right? Carthorne is suing for seventeen hundred and
- 13:39Speaker 1: fifty five dollars. Okay, she's suing a fellow named Jacob
- 13:45Speaker 1: uh So. Tracy starts off by saying that she is
- 13:49Speaker 1: a reborn doll artist.
- 13:52Speaker 2: A reborn dollarist.
- 13:56Speaker 1: She's a reborn doll artist.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Oh adull artist.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Jerry says, come again.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Reborn like she's born again, like she's an email.
- 14:05Speaker 1: So she says, I make realistic dolls. You've seen these, right, What.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Does that do with reborn? I know what, I know
- 14:12Speaker 2: what you're talking about, But what's the reborn?
- 14:14Speaker 1: She can make a baby doll look like a specific
- 14:18Speaker 1: real baby. So let's just say, dan, God forbid, someone
- 14:23Speaker 1: has a baby, they lose that baby. They could contact
- 14:27Speaker 1: Tracy and say, can you make me a doll? Disturbing
- 14:31Speaker 1: that looks like the rush. So it's a reborn doll.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Artist, reborn reborn dollarist.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Which is so sad, but such a bad name. It's hard.
- 14:44Speaker 1: It's hard not to laugh at the name. But obviously
- 14:47Speaker 1: very very sad. She says, I actually made you a doll.
- 14:52Speaker 1: She unveils a baby Jerry Springer name no, no, no,
- 14:58Speaker 1: and it does look like him if he's a baby,
- 15:00Speaker 1: so job ball dot on her part, it does not
- 15:02Speaker 1: matter to the case. But she did bring Jerry Springer
- 15:06Speaker 1: a baby doll. She says, I was on my way
- 15:08Speaker 1: to mail one of the dolls. And I decided to
- 15:12Speaker 1: stop at the Starbucks. We've all been there, maybe not
- 15:16Speaker 1: the mailing adult dolls.
- 15:17Speaker 2: We had a quick Starbucks.
- 15:18Speaker 1: We have decided to stop it stobbs. And so she
- 15:21Speaker 1: goes over to the monitor the plasma, the plasma and
- 15:26Speaker 1: shows what she says happened. Basically, she's coming up. She
- 15:30Speaker 1: takes a left, she pulls into a street parking spot.
- 15:34Speaker 1: A white car comes across pretty quickly nails her right
- 15:38Speaker 1: in the back of the car. That's it, right, hits
- 15:41Speaker 1: her car, hits her car smack dab in the old
- 15:43Speaker 1: back it and she says that she called the police.
- 15:48Speaker 1: They came out, make them exchange info. There you go.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Jerry asked Jacob what contact he had with Tracy and
- 15:57Speaker 1: he's like, before the event, absolutely nothing. And Jerry says, no,
- 16:01Speaker 1: I mean, like actual contact. Did you hit her car?
- 16:06Speaker 1: Which I thought was great? And he says, oh, yeah,
- 16:08Speaker 1: I barely tapped her. Uh. So he goes over to
- 16:14Speaker 1: the plasma and he starts playing his Dia diagram video
- 16:20Speaker 1: and when his video starts playing, some rap music plays
- 16:25Speaker 1: behind it. It's it is it's a track, and Jerry
- 16:30Speaker 1: is like what is this music?
- 16:34Speaker 2: He's like, oh that Yeah, I'm an up and becoming artist.
- 16:39Speaker 2: I thought i'd throw it in while I'm getting sued.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I want to make sure you hear that new hot track.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Got to be honest, it wasn't bad. Uh.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Jerry is like, so she makes dolls, you make music,
- 16:52Speaker 2: and Jacob says, we all make something of it. He
- 16:59Speaker 2: also like, has barely a bustaches like peach. So the
- 17:06Speaker 2: diagram shows him hitting the car just significantly slower and
- 17:09Speaker 2: less intense than the other diagrams, So they thank you
- 17:12Speaker 2: for that. Jerry says that in your police report, yeah,
- 17:17Speaker 2: all that said this happened.
- 17:20Speaker 1: It's just an argument of whether or not we'll get
- 17:23Speaker 1: to she can get an estimate hold on under your pants.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Log it.
- 17:32Speaker 1: So Jerry says that in your statement, Jacob, you said
- 17:36Speaker 1: that you think that she was backing up, and he's like, yeah,
- 17:39Speaker 1: I think so. I Uh, I was trying to park
- 17:42Speaker 1: behind her to get into my store, and uh she
- 17:46Speaker 1: I think she backed up a little bit and that
- 17:48Speaker 1: caused me to tap her. I was like five miles
- 17:50Speaker 1: per hour, Tracy says. Tracy says, not true. Well, he
- 17:57Speaker 1: so she actually is at the corner, so he he
- 18:02Speaker 1: was sliding right on it there, I got no backing, backing, yeah,
- 18:05Speaker 1: I got it. So five miles per hour if it
- 18:08Speaker 1: would be sense now. So Tracy says, that's not true.
- 18:11Speaker 1: I was parked. I was about to get out the
- 18:14Speaker 1: car then came and it hit me. And Jacob says, whatever,
- 18:19Speaker 1: we have an agreement that I would pay her one
- 18:22Speaker 1: hundred dollars. I have the text, he's.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Got actual text.
- 18:26Speaker 1: So she says, here's what happened, Judge. We went to
- 18:30Speaker 1: exchange information. I got home, I called for his insurance.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Found out he doesn't have normal insurance. He has gap insurance.
- 18:40Speaker 1: I don't know what that is.
- 18:41Speaker 2: I think it's something you get when you buy clothes
- 18:43Speaker 2: of the gap, and it's like, okay, gap that covers
- 18:46Speaker 2: the difference between how much your car is worth versus
- 18:48Speaker 2: how much you owe. It does nothing to help another driver, okay.
- 18:53Speaker 1: So I went to his store that he had there
- 18:56Speaker 1: on the corner and he's like, oh, yeah, I'm sorry
- 18:59Speaker 1: about that. She's like, listen, it's just a fender bender.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Just give me one hundred dollars. We'll call it a day.
- 19:06Speaker 1: The next day he's like, yeah, of course, come back tomorrow.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Let me know when you're coming in, and I'll give
- 19:11Speaker 1: you one hundred dollars. She comes in the next day
- 19:14Speaker 1: and he acts like he doesn't know her. He's like,
- 19:19Speaker 1: how can I help you? She says, I'm here to
- 19:21Speaker 1: give my one hundred dollars. He's like, I don't know
- 19:23Speaker 1: who you are. What doesn't this whttle bit Jerry is like, Jacob,
- 19:29Speaker 1: what's going on here? And he's like, I told her
- 19:31Speaker 1: to text me before she came in. She didn't text
- 19:35Speaker 1: me before she came in. She says, I have lots
- 19:38Speaker 1: of texts that I have sent him that he's ignoring.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Here's the receipts, and he says, as you can see
- 19:44Speaker 1: in my receipts. In those receipts it doesn't say delivered,
- 19:49Speaker 1: so I wasn't I wasn't getting those, and I don't
- 19:53Speaker 1: think she was getting any texts from me. They weren't
- 19:56Speaker 1: being delivered what so I didn't get those. So the
- 20:02Speaker 1: question then is how do we get dan from one
- 20:05Speaker 1: hundred dollars promise to suing seventeen forty five. So after
- 20:10Speaker 1: the one hundred dollars promise, she has time now because
- 20:15Speaker 1: he's not paying her. So she finally goes to get
- 20:18Speaker 1: an estimate for it, and estimate comes out to seventeen
- 20:22Speaker 1: fifty five. There was damage to the top and to
- 20:24Speaker 1: the bottom of the bumper which cause replace the whole thing. Yeah,
- 20:29Speaker 1: and then other miscellaneous things with and that, and Jerry
- 20:32Speaker 1: is ready to rule.
- 20:33Speaker 2: So this is tough in a real courtroom. What are
- 20:37Speaker 2: you talking about in a real courtroom, that's not Judge Jerry,
- 20:40Speaker 2: she would only get one hundred dollars. I feel very
- 20:43Speaker 2: confident in that if that was the agreed upon him ount,
- 20:46Speaker 2: she would only get that. In Judge Jerry's courtroom, She's
- 20:48Speaker 2: going to get the full amount. That's my guess.
- 20:50Speaker 1: All in you're wrong what on both accounts? Somehow there's
- 20:57Speaker 1: you can tell me I'm wrong on another. On the
- 20:59Speaker 1: other one, well, we'll see. Uh. So he says that
- 21:02Speaker 1: because uh, he said that he would pay one hundred
- 21:06Speaker 1: dollars but was doing the whole run around. He is
- 21:09Speaker 1: now going and gave her enough time to get an estimate.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Now we're gonna go with the estimate. But in the
- 21:15Speaker 1: estimate like that, that's best case scenario, like trying to
- 21:20Speaker 1: get it to look as new as possible. So what
- 21:22Speaker 1: he takes is the price of the actual bumper itself,
- 21:25Speaker 1: throws out all the miscellaneous things within that and gives
- 21:29Speaker 1: her twelve hundred dollars. Wow.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't see that coming.
- 21:32Speaker 1: So there you go.
- 21:33Speaker 2: He tried.
- 21:34Speaker 1: She tried to spruce it up. Tried to spruce it up.
- 21:36Speaker 1: He says, I see the spruce in there with these miscellanies. No,
- 21:40Speaker 1: m I s C. That's right in this cas, Judge,
- 21:44Speaker 1: Jerry does his own thing, does his own thing. That's
- 21:46Speaker 1: exactly right.
- 21:47Speaker 2: But I did love him pressing play on the Dutch
- 21:50Speaker 2: trib and then hot try and.
- 21:52Speaker 1: He what's the best part of it is he acted
- 21:55Speaker 1: like it wasn't happening. He pressed play, and he's like, as.
- 21:58Speaker 2: You can see here in the music's playing and Jerry's like,
- 22:01Speaker 2: hold on, what is this music?
- 22:03Speaker 1: He's like, oh yeah, I put that in there. That's me.
- 22:06Speaker 1: It was O great this hot track right here? Oh this,
- 22:10Speaker 1: oh that's it.
- 22:11Speaker 2: That's me. So yeah, I'll pay your money.
- 22:13Speaker 1: And he called himself an up and coming artist yea,
- 22:15Speaker 1: which I love that. Uh So there you go, judge Jerry.
- 22:18Speaker 2: We did it.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Another successful day in the chambers. Everybody. I hope that
- 22:21Speaker 1: you enjoyed it. We're gonna be back next time with
- 22:22Speaker 1: another one. Until then, all Rise.
