- 0:14Speaker 2: Well I love it. Oh, look what Casey's got lined
- 0:16Speaker 2: up for the weekend. There's three options behind you. One
- 0:19Speaker 2: of them tonight, tell her yellow. The yellow is the
- 0:23Speaker 2: pretty one.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Tonight, I'm making steak dinner.
- 0:27Speaker 2: You know, are you having date night?
- 0:29Speaker 1: No? No, no, no no, I just decided I was
- 0:31Speaker 1: going to make stake dinner.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Y'all need to do what we do. We have date
- 0:34Speaker 2: night in the house.
- 0:36Speaker 1: You don't got kids.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Right, but they go to bed at what seven thirty eight?
- 0:40Speaker 1: And by that time I want to go to bed.
- 0:46Speaker 1: For all my parents out there who are dealing with
- 0:48Speaker 1: this in quarantine right now, you know exactly what I'm talking.
- 0:51Speaker 2: I'm sure every parent listening is like, that's right.
- 0:58Speaker 1: All they got to do is click the ring tone.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I click your ringtone. You can get MMMM. I
- 1:03Speaker 2: bet every time I say something to you that sounds
- 1:05Speaker 2: like a guy with no kids, and then you answer it,
- 1:07Speaker 2: all those people listening with kids go, m.
- 1:11Speaker 1: That's right.
- 1:12Speaker 2: So when you're a parent, you want to go to
- 1:13Speaker 2: bed at eight thirty.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Huh, yeah, you know you want to go to bed early,
- 1:17Speaker 1: unless something, unless you got something cooking for later on, right,
- 1:21Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Those are the days. Listen.
- 1:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you the days that I try to
- 1:24Speaker 1: help out the most is when there's when there's not
- 1:27Speaker 1: even promise of sex at the end of the night,
- 1:30Speaker 1: when there's like a little when she gives you, just
- 1:32Speaker 1: like when my wife gives me just that little bit
- 1:34Speaker 1: of that little spark, there's like a little sparkling her
- 1:38Speaker 1: eye that I realized and I'm like, yo, you know
- 1:39Speaker 1: what I need to do today. I need to make
- 1:42Speaker 1: sure I support and help as much as I can
- 1:45Speaker 1: around the house because.
- 1:47Speaker 2: You feel like that's gonna put you over the line.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Something can happen, and it's so disappointing when it doesn't happen,
- 1:53Speaker 1: when work all day long and it's like not appreciated,
- 1:57Speaker 1: and then you realize, oh shit, that my wife every day.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Right, So when you have kids, you kind of have
- 2:04Speaker 2: to schedule sex, right, you kind of have to be like,
- 2:06Speaker 2: how's Wednesday at eight thirty five?
- 2:10Speaker 1: No, I know, you know what. We used to try
- 2:12Speaker 1: to schedule it and now it's just like, look, if
- 2:15Speaker 1: it happens, it happens, you know what I mean, you'll
- 2:18Speaker 1: get you know, I put.
- 2:20Speaker 2: It in the eye cow.
- 2:21Speaker 1: No, No, it would just be like what's color?
- 2:25Speaker 2: What color?
- 2:27Speaker 1: It would be like it's been a couple of weeks now.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Yeah, Oh that's what you do.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Is she ever the one that's like Donald, it's been
- 2:34Speaker 2: a couple of weeks now, yeah.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Absolutely. Oh that's nice, dude, we got we got a
- 2:40Speaker 1: good thing going.
- 2:40Speaker 2: No, obviously you're very sexually attracted to each other. I
- 2:43Speaker 2: can feel it. I can feel it when I'm around you.
- 2:45Speaker 2: I can feel the heat.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, it's it's very interesting. My wife is
- 2:51Speaker 1: you know, we're quarantined and everything like that. So she's like,
- 2:54Speaker 1: you know, I I want to be very careful how
- 2:59Speaker 1: I word all this.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Well, she doesn't listen to the podcast, but go ahead.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I still don't want it to come in by.
- 3:03Speaker 2: There's nobody listening. There's nobody listening.
- 3:05Speaker 1: But she's like, she's right, She's like, this quarantine thing
- 3:10Speaker 1: has gotten me, you know, you know, all out of sorts,
- 3:15Speaker 1: and my eating habits and stuff aren't the same. But
- 3:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna taste something right now. I like a little
- 3:22Speaker 1: bit of cushion on my baby. You know what I mean.
- 3:25Speaker 1: It's nice, it feels good, you know. And she likes
- 3:29Speaker 1: to be like pinky thin, you know what I'm saying.
- 3:33Speaker 1: And it's like I like that too, but I like
- 3:35Speaker 1: it when she's got a little bit of something to
- 3:37Speaker 1: hold on to, you know what I'm saying.
- 3:39Speaker 2: So, but I'm not tracking. You're saying she's too skinny
- 3:41Speaker 2: for you right now.
- 3:42Speaker 1: She's saying she feels like she's going the opposite direction
- 3:46Speaker 1: of skinny and it doesn't make her feel attractive.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Here's what you got to me.
- 3:53Speaker 1: But look to me. That shit is mad, that shit isna.
- 3:58Speaker 2: I'm gonna help you. Okay, you're gonna you're gonna take
- 4:01Speaker 2: you're gonna unplug the peloton and then you're gonna take
- 4:03Speaker 2: some scissors and just cut the plug off. Break break,
- 4:06Speaker 2: break that ship.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Do you know how much money I pay for that peloton? Peloton?
- 4:14Speaker 1: Ain't want to sponsors or when I.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Doesn't have a peloton?
- 4:17Speaker 1: Does that they didn't send us, They didn't send us
- 4:20Speaker 1: a peloton for free peladon ship that it costs me money.
- 4:25Speaker 1: That's that's right. Two grands sitting in the corner, all.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Right, and how do we how we fix it so
- 4:29Speaker 2: it doesn't break? Maybe, I know, turn the circuit for
- 4:33Speaker 2: that plug off and be like, baby, I don't know
- 4:35Speaker 2: that plug is broken. The peloton is out of order.
- 4:38Speaker 2: And then do you know how the gym is put
- 4:39Speaker 2: it out of order sign? You put an out of
- 4:41Speaker 2: order sign on the peloton.
- 4:42Speaker 1: No, what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna just keep
- 4:44Speaker 1: cooking with butter, yep and freaking oil.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Put some meat on those bones I'm gonna put.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna just make burgers and hot dogs. You know
- 4:51Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I'm gonna go out get some potato chips. Yeah, sabota, poato, salad, sabotage,
- 4:57Speaker 1: all that good.
- 4:58Speaker 2: I bet there's a lot of water to eat. I
- 4:59Speaker 2: bet the there's a lot of curvy women who are
- 5:01Speaker 2: listening who were like, I need my husband to appreciate
- 5:06Speaker 2: my curbs. And here's Donald saying he appreciates you.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I never got so many likes as to when I
- 5:12Speaker 1: cooked up those little tiny party wings and I posted
- 5:14Speaker 1: it on Instagram. Let me tell you something right now.
- 5:17Speaker 1: You want to make the ladies like your pictures, post
- 5:20Speaker 1: something that you cooked and make that shit look good.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I guarantee you you get all people sliding into my DMS.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I didn't know you could cook.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Oh really, that's funny because some guys, like you know,
- 5:33Speaker 2: show their abs, and you're out here showing your chicken wings.
- 5:36Speaker 1: No, I show you the food. I show you what
- 5:38Speaker 1: you want. Mama, you don't want to Nobody want these abs.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Nobody wants abs, my abs. Get the fuck out of here.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Maybe Michael B. Jordan's abs. They don't want my abs.
- 5:48Speaker 2: You know what's fucked up. We do all this work
- 5:50Speaker 2: to try and be thinn and it's what you're saying
- 5:52Speaker 2: about Casey, And I'm sure there's I know for a
- 5:54Speaker 2: fact there's women who think that about we men. It's like,
- 5:57Speaker 2: we do all this work to try and make our
- 6:00Speaker 2: bodies look good, and then the person you're with is like, no,
- 6:02Speaker 2: I'd rather you have a little meat on your bones.
- 6:05Speaker 1: It just seems more healthy. So it's for our.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Own vanity, though, It's for our own vanity, not for
- 6:10Speaker 2: our partner.
- 6:12Speaker 1: No, you do it for you although although.
- 6:14Speaker 2: That's bullshit though, because when you do as good as hell,
- 6:17Speaker 2: your woman is like, damn.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna keep it one hundred with you.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I would one or at least ninety nine, right.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I would prefer to look like a male porn star.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Okay, slow down. Do you mean because they're often muscular
- 6:38Speaker 2: or because they have babies arm sized penises?
- 6:44Speaker 1: I guess it's.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Joel. Why are you fanning yourself? You guys? Joelle is
- 6:54Speaker 2: fanning herself.
- 6:55Speaker 1: With her hand. Listen. I feel like, if you're in porn,
- 7:00Speaker 1: you have to look, you have to be, you know, muscular.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Right. There's not a lot of overweight male porn stars.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I guess I'm told, well, no, there are, but for
- 7:12Speaker 1: the most part, most of the males in porn are like,
- 7:17Speaker 1: you know, ripped beyond belief or twenty six years old
- 7:21Speaker 1: and don't haven't had to lift weights yet and diet
- 7:25Speaker 1: yet and stuff like that. I would love to be
- 7:29Speaker 1: of that caliber male right now, where either I can
- 7:33Speaker 1: stick with the regiment long enough for people to see it,
- 7:37Speaker 1: or if there was some type of miracle something out
- 7:40Speaker 1: there that would make me just the I remember twenty six, man,
- 7:44Speaker 1: Remember the Titans was twenty five. Listen, you know what
- 7:46Speaker 1: I'm saying. I remember that I need I need that
- 7:50Speaker 1: to be a I needed to be made. I need
- 7:53Speaker 1: someone out there, whatever scientist is out there right now.
- 7:56Speaker 1: I am begging you because this shit is Listen, man, listen.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I like it on my wife. I don't like it
- 8:05Speaker 1: on me.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Right, we'll stop eating. I mean I can solve it
- 8:07Speaker 2: for you. Stop eating all that shit.
- 8:09Speaker 1: I smoke too much weed to stop eating all of
- 8:11Speaker 1: that shit.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Well, then don't. Then this is so fucking stupid. You're eating,
- 8:16Speaker 2: you're smoking something that makes you hungry, and then you
- 8:19Speaker 2: fucking eat bad food. It's not fucking rocket science.
- 8:23Speaker 1: I know. I understand that it's rockets.
- 8:26Speaker 2: You need to get goals, set your goals, and be committed.
- 8:29Speaker 1: So you're saying I shouldn't smoke weed anymore.
- 8:31Speaker 2: No, you shouldn't if it gives you that bad of
- 8:33Speaker 2: a monkey problem, controlling. See, if you're a grown ass man.
- 8:36Speaker 1: So when I see you the next time and you've
- 8:39Speaker 1: got God's Green lettuce and you want to smoke that shit,
- 8:42Speaker 1: and I say no, you can't, be like, stop being
- 8:45Speaker 1: a pussy. That's what I'm saying.
- 8:47Speaker 2: I won't. I'll say I respect you, Donald. I understand
- 8:49Speaker 2: that you have a monkey problem, and I understand that
- 8:51Speaker 2: you need to take a break from God's lettuce.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Okay, there it is.
- 8:55Speaker 2: He solves your fucking weight problem.
- 8:57Speaker 1: There it is.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Now I feel bad for you because Casey's not as
- 9:00Speaker 2: chunky as you like.
- 9:02Speaker 1: No, she's actually she works out, really, she's too much.
- 9:05Speaker 1: She's strong in it.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Right now, she looks great. I just saw her on
- 9:08Speaker 2: the FaceTime and she's very pretty.
- 9:10Speaker 1: She is very pretty.
- 9:11Speaker 2: You did good.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I did very well.
- 9:14Speaker 2: And her hair, she has this beautiful hair.
- 9:16Speaker 1: She takes very good care of it and she yeah.
- 9:19Speaker 2: It's like a work of art, all those beautiful curls.
- 9:22Speaker 1: She's blessed with, you know, a lot of hair.
- 9:25Speaker 2: And the way your hair mixes with her hair to
- 9:27Speaker 2: create Wilder's hair.
- 9:29Speaker 1: You know, I'm I got, I got, I got you know,
- 9:33Speaker 1: beautiful babies too. That's what Yeah, that's what happens.
- 9:35Speaker 2: We live a blessed life. Donald, wait, wait, skinny, fat, medium, whatever,
- 9:39Speaker 2: you live a blessed life.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I am very, very very happy with what God has
- 9:44Speaker 1: given me. Yes, thank God every night for.
- 9:47Speaker 2: And we thank God and the universe for you beautiful listeners.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Because Donald and I were talking about how much fun
- 9:54Speaker 2: we're having doing this, and it is a bright spot
- 9:57Speaker 2: in our you know, so many people on social media
- 10:00Speaker 2: thank us for doing this, and I always have the
- 10:01Speaker 2: same response in my head, which is, thank you for
- 10:04Speaker 2: tuning in, because we really, I think Donald and I
- 10:07Speaker 2: thought this would be a fun little thing to do,
- 10:09Speaker 2: but but it's become so fun for us. We look
- 10:12Speaker 2: forward to it. We know we're gonna laugh with you guys,
- 10:14Speaker 2: and we know we have these new beautiful friends Daniel
- 10:17Speaker 2: and Joel that we get to see twice a week
- 10:19Speaker 2: and giggle with. And I think it's it's we want
- 10:21Speaker 2: to thank all of you for listening.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 10:25Speaker 2: And people are fucking nuts, man, I mean not, none
- 10:27Speaker 2: of these listeners, all of our listeners are Okay, here
- 10:29Speaker 2: we go. People at the right.
- 10:31Speaker 1: That being said, let's get into it.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Let me tell you something. I want to play you
- 10:35Speaker 2: something that was on my on my Twitter machine today. Okay,
- 10:38Speaker 2: I'm gonna play is the first time of ever played
- 10:40Speaker 2: you guys something off my phone? Because I have a
- 10:42Speaker 2: question and I want Joel and Daniel towagh in. Were
- 10:45Speaker 2: people always this fucking batshit in the world or is
- 10:48Speaker 2: just everyone filming everything? Now? Before you answer, Before you answer,
- 10:54Speaker 2: I'm gonna play you a woman. This woman is berating
- 10:57Speaker 2: her dentist for for for asking that she wear a mask. Okay,
- 11:02Speaker 2: she is, she is berating that. I assume maybe it's
- 11:05Speaker 2: the receptionist of the dental office because she doesn't want
- 11:07Speaker 2: to wear a mask. And we represent the medical community
- 11:10Speaker 2: here on fake Doctor's real friends, and I got livid
- 11:14Speaker 2: myself as a fake doctor listening. I'm just gonna play
- 11:16Speaker 2: a little section of this woman who is very upset
- 11:20Speaker 2: that she has to wear a mask to the dentist.
- 11:23Speaker 1: I'm not you're gonna work on my teeth now, my nose.
- 11:26Speaker 3: I don't wear a mask in my teeth cleaned.
- 11:28Speaker 2: But it's about to seem to feel art.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Oh, I'll cover my mouth.
- 11:31Speaker 5: Can I go be seated?
- 11:32Speaker 4: Now?
- 11:32Speaker 1: No, you're not.
- 11:33Speaker 2: You're not feeling out performs of letting us TV temperature.
- 11:35Speaker 1: It's about protecting You can't take my temperature. That's against
- 11:39Speaker 1: the law.
- 11:39Speaker 4: All right, well I can't.
- 11:41Speaker 1: You're not an empt you're can.
- 11:44Speaker 6: I have a right to sue you for harassing me,
- 11:46Speaker 6: the manager and this entire company, Smile, whatever you call it, dental.
- 11:51Speaker 1: I do have that right. And I talked to my
- 11:53Speaker 1: attorney before I came.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Here to so does she want that to happen?
- 11:57Speaker 4: I've waited long enough for my teeth to be cleaned.
- 11:59Speaker 6: Okay, let's get this done.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Let's get this done. What's crazy is this crazy woman
- 12:10Speaker 2: is prepared to go now have all these people work
- 12:13Speaker 2: on her mouth. Let's get this done.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, I'm gonna say, I'm going to say something.
- 12:19Speaker 1: All she has to do is put a mask on.
- 12:22Speaker 2: She said, she said, you're not working on my nose.
- 12:24Speaker 1: That's but the mask only has to be on from
- 12:29Speaker 1: when she enters the building to sitting in the chair.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Mask is going to take the mask off. They're just
- 12:39Speaker 1: asking for now. It might be the embarrassment of I
- 12:43Speaker 1: forgot my mask, and I don't want to feel like
- 12:45Speaker 1: an asshole because I know everybody's supposed to wear a mask.
- 12:48Speaker 2: There is no way that that office would not have
- 12:50Speaker 2: provided her with a frigging mask.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Okay, I'm just saying, Okay, this is what I don't understand.
- 12:55Speaker 2: It just gets me so riled up the business. I
- 12:58Speaker 2: have no business speaking for the medical community, but since
- 13:01Speaker 2: it's a show about fake doctors, I want to be like,
- 13:03Speaker 2: fuck you go.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Ahead, Yeah, you know this is gonna upset people, and
- 13:08Speaker 1: this is gonna make a lot of people be like,
- 13:10Speaker 1: you know what, you're right, the president ain't wearing a mask.
- 13:14Speaker 1: There are a bunch of people who voted for the president,
- 13:17Speaker 1: and they feel like, if he doesn't need to do it,
- 13:19Speaker 1: why do I need to do it? He speaks for me.
- 13:21Speaker 2: I just feel like the only country right now, the
- 13:23Speaker 2: only country that's politicized mask wearing, dude.
- 13:27Speaker 1: The politic everything is politicized now, this free mass virus,
- 13:30Speaker 1: the virus is politicized. I don't know if this is
- 13:32Speaker 1: I don't know if this is going to make the show.
- 13:34Speaker 2: It is because we don't get political and you don't
- 13:36Speaker 2: even have to go down a Trump thing because I don't,
- 13:38Speaker 2: I mean, we don't even you don't need to touch that
- 13:40Speaker 2: fucking fire. All you have to say is how is it? How?
- 13:45Speaker 2: I just can't get my head around why people are
- 13:47Speaker 2: so crazy. If you want to wear a mask, fine,
- 13:49Speaker 2: don't go to the dentist. Well, why are you yelling
- 13:51Speaker 2: at these poor fucking why the receptionist whose job it
- 13:55Speaker 2: is to make sure that everyone in the waiting room
- 13:56Speaker 2: is safe.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Listen, if it wasn't invisible and you could see this threat,
- 14:00Speaker 1: everybody would be wearing a mask. If this ship was
- 14:02Speaker 1: If this was considered a true threat, like somebody with
- 14:05Speaker 1: a gun walking into a room and the only way
- 14:07Speaker 1: you're not gonna get and the motherfucker's walking outside and
- 14:10Speaker 1: choosing places to walk into. If that were the case,
- 14:14Speaker 1: everybody would wear a mask because they wouldn't want to
- 14:16Speaker 1: get shot.
- 14:17Speaker 2: They're opening disney World. Do you know how many cake
- 14:19Speaker 2: do you many people died in Florida yesterday?
- 14:22Speaker 1: Yeah? I understand that they're opening Disney World. They feel
- 14:27Speaker 1: that they have the proper Listen, man, you can't tell
- 14:30Speaker 1: anybody to put a mask on. You could tell as
- 14:32Speaker 1: many people as you want to put a mask on.
- 14:34Speaker 1: They're gonna live their life. Man, They're gonna do what
- 14:36Speaker 1: they want to do. That's what it boils down to.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Dan say something wise, You're so wise.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Joel, talk some sense in jo.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Incredibly as much to say all. I'm saying, either one
- 14:49Speaker 2: of you, please educate Donald and I what we're missing
- 14:52Speaker 2: because I just understand first.
- 14:56Speaker 6: Okay, I think that there's a lot of easy to
- 14:59Speaker 6: acc information out there, misinformation available to a lot of
- 15:04Speaker 6: people who don't think that this is a big deal,
- 15:07Speaker 6: which is aggravating. I know several people who have died,
- 15:12Speaker 6: see a whole family's devastated. We've seen four women have
- 15:15Speaker 6: to bury sons and grandsons and husbands in the span
- 15:19Speaker 6: of a week. I mean, there's footage of doctors loading
- 15:23Speaker 6: bodies into like refrigerated trucks. It's intense to meet the
- 15:27Speaker 6: amount of denial that's going on. I don't know what
- 15:30Speaker 6: we as individuals can do to convince the masses that
- 15:33Speaker 6: don't seem to think this is a problem. It just
- 15:36Speaker 6: means for me, like the best thing I've been able
- 15:38Speaker 6: to do for my mindset is just prepared to stay
- 15:40Speaker 6: in for a very long time because it's clear to
- 15:43Speaker 6: me people aren't taking this seriously despite the fact that
- 15:45Speaker 6: numbers are rising. We have government officials who could very
- 15:48Speaker 6: easily resolve this problem with the stroke of a pen,
- 15:51Speaker 6: being like, no businesses are allowed to be open, and
- 15:55Speaker 6: we're going to try to make it so that mayors
- 15:57Speaker 6: of large cities are unable to pass ordinances that's happening
- 16:00Speaker 6: in Georgia. It's just crazy.
- 16:02Speaker 2: It's criminal. It's criminal. There's eleven four hundred thirty three
- 16:06Speaker 2: new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Florida today and ninety
- 16:11Speaker 2: three deaths today. This was posted four hours ago, So
- 16:14Speaker 2: God knows what it is now, but there'll be over
- 16:16Speaker 2: one hundred deaths in Florida today they're opening Disney World.
- 16:19Speaker 7: All I'm gonna say, and you know, I hate that this.
- 16:22Speaker 7: I feel like this is the kind of thing that
- 16:24Speaker 7: changes people's minds. But so often we see images of
- 16:28Speaker 7: stuff like war, and we see images of stuff like destruction,
- 16:32Speaker 7: and those kinds of very raw graphic images tend to
- 16:36Speaker 7: sway people in ways. We're like, I had no idea
- 16:39Speaker 7: this was going on. You think about struggles in the
- 16:41Speaker 7: Middle East. You think about places like Syria where people
- 16:44Speaker 7: are carrying, you know, their children out of blasted out buildings,
- 16:48Speaker 7: and you see the grief in this person's eyes as
- 16:50Speaker 7: they're holding their dead child. And unfortunately, with COVID, nobody's
- 16:57Speaker 7: allowed to see anybody. The second that you go into
- 16:59Speaker 7: that hospital, well that's the last time you see that person.
- 17:02Speaker 7: So the image of COVID, the image of the sick
- 17:06Speaker 7: person is I'm at home. The images stay home, and
- 17:11Speaker 7: the images out of sight, out of mind, right Unfortunately,
- 17:14Speaker 7: like where are all of these hundreds of thousands of people?
- 17:18Speaker 7: There are hundreds of thousands of people who have died
- 17:21Speaker 7: in this country. Literally no images there's no sick people.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Find at all.
- 17:26Speaker 7: You think about like Chernobyl. It starts out with this
- 17:29Speaker 7: very ominous image of a bunch of people standing on
- 17:31Speaker 7: a bridge while little like white flecks come down, which
- 17:34Speaker 7: are like, you know that that's the symbol for the
- 17:36Speaker 7: viewer who knows the results of Chernobyl to be like,
- 17:40Speaker 7: that's the thing, that's the bad part, that's the bad
- 17:42Speaker 7: stuff right there, And that's the COVID coming in. And
- 17:44Speaker 7: then over the rest of the documentary you see people
- 17:47Speaker 7: like start to just like cough up blood and their
- 17:49Speaker 7: skin starts to disintegrate and all these gruesome, horrific things
- 17:53Speaker 7: where you're like, WHOA, never want to have that again.
- 17:56Speaker 7: And with COVID, we just don't have that kind of
- 17:58Speaker 7: And I'm not I'm I'm not advocating that reporters going
- 18:02Speaker 7: to hospitals and start taking pictures of sick people. It's like,
- 18:04Speaker 7: that's not what I'm saying, but the fact that it
- 18:07Speaker 7: is so dangerous, it is so contagious that people are
- 18:09Speaker 7: not allowed to be around their loved ones, that you're
- 18:11Speaker 7: not allowed to see these people, that all of this
- 18:14Speaker 7: is just happening behind closed doors. Yeah, people don't have
- 18:17Speaker 7: that straight up image of if you do this, you
- 18:20Speaker 7: turn into this.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Yeah, you're smart, that's well said Dan. And you know,
- 18:24Speaker 2: I got the goosebumps when I first saw them backing
- 18:27Speaker 2: up refrigerated semis to the hospitals. But even that was hidden.
- 18:31Speaker 2: They put up big one would hope, one would hope that.
- 18:33Speaker 2: But you know, I saw, I saw it firsthand because
- 18:36Speaker 2: of Nick. I saw FaceTime. I facetimed with Nick thanks
- 18:41Speaker 2: to Amanda and a nurse that was in the hospital,
- 18:45Speaker 2: and I just could not believe what it had done
- 18:48Speaker 2: to him. I could not believe who he looked like
- 18:52Speaker 2: a corpse.
- 18:53Speaker 7: Frankly, you wish people could have empathy just off of information.
- 18:58Speaker 7: You wish people could hear a fact and be able
- 19:00Speaker 7: to process it in their head and say, oh, well,
- 19:02Speaker 7: this is horrible and I need to do everything I
- 19:04Speaker 7: can to protect those around me and protect others. But
- 19:08Speaker 7: that is not the case.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Well, it all goes back to I'll tell you this again,
- 19:12Speaker 1: It all goes back to leadership and and and how
- 19:14Speaker 1: leadership handles all of this. Whether you're a governor, a mayor,
- 19:18Speaker 1: the president, a senator in Congress, whatever it is, you
- 19:23Speaker 1: know a lot of the examples. You are the example, and.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Detis Oh my god, is that been a colossal disaster
- 19:31Speaker 2: DeSantis in Florida and some debacle.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Well, you know, some people downplayed it and didn't and
- 19:36Speaker 1: didn't want to believe the facts, and and here we are,
- 19:40Speaker 1: you know what I mean. That's that's, that's what it is.
- 19:42Speaker 2: This is the last political thing I'll say on this
- 19:44Speaker 2: on the rest of this podcast, for ever, again, ever again,
- 19:50Speaker 2: on this podcast.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Bullshit. I called bullshit.
- 19:53Speaker 2: All right, ready, colon, people of Florida. If you re
- 19:57Speaker 2: elect DeSantis, I think you are making an enormous mistake.
- 20:02Speaker 2: He is a disaster slash debacle.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Okay, well you just you just you just you just
- 20:10Speaker 1: joined the side. But dear, dear Florida. That being said, Florida,
- 20:18Speaker 1: let zech's political views stop you from listening to our show. Okay.
- 20:22Speaker 2: If you're currently wearing a DeSantis T shirt, I'm sorry. Okay,
- 20:26Speaker 2: he's not.
- 20:26Speaker 1: He doesn't apologize.
- 20:27Speaker 2: I'm not.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Just you guys have different political views. That doesn't mean
- 20:32Speaker 1: we can't all love scrub.
- 20:33Speaker 2: And always still want you to listen.
- 20:35Speaker 1: And but if you're a racist, fuck you not see
- 20:39Speaker 1: stories I'm not sure we made about a bunch of
- 20:44Speaker 1: dogs and nurses.
- 20:45Speaker 8: And.
- 20:47Speaker 3: I said, he's a story. So yanna around here, yea here?
- 21:02Speaker 1: All right? Should we get into this real quickly? Should
- 21:05Speaker 1: we get into this? Because I wrote it down this time,
- 21:07Speaker 1: I don't know if I wrote it down correctly, but
- 21:09Speaker 1: I have a feeling that I can do it. I
- 21:13Speaker 1: don't know if I could do it less than thirty seconds.
- 21:15Speaker 1: This episode had so.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Many really, really loving people. I'm getting a lot of
- 21:19Speaker 2: good feedback on the Donald.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Suthing get it ready, get it ready.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Wait, let me get my timer going, and uh and
- 21:26Speaker 2: I gotta get it ready, hold on clock, okay, and
- 21:29Speaker 2: then I go to stop bunch. All right ready, yes, now,
- 21:33Speaker 2: now you take a deep breath because it's a big episode.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Here we go, get marks, get set go.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Churk realizes he's always coming in second to his arch
- 21:42Speaker 1: nimbosis Bonnie. That's why he's surprised when he's chosen to
- 21:45Speaker 1: go with doctor Kelso to a conference in Mexico. Carla
- 21:48Speaker 1: finally confides in JD, and, like the little snitch he is,
- 21:51Speaker 1: he runs and tells his best friend Carlos crushed. Ellie
- 21:54Speaker 1: just wants to be a part of a team and
- 21:56Speaker 1: is willing to sink to low levels to fulfill her wants.
- 21:59Speaker 1: In the end, every what's trying to prove the worthy
- 22:01Speaker 1: of respect and trust, and it takes the experiences they
- 22:04Speaker 1: go through in this episode for them to realize they.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Are Holy shit, that was twenty nine Did you practice?
- 22:11Speaker 2: Whoa did you practice?
- 22:13Speaker 1: I'm donut shit, baby, I don't know too much time.
- 22:19Speaker 1: I can just scrub through this shit.
- 22:20Speaker 2: I just I want to give you.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Guys one hundred that pretty fucking time to phase out
- 22:26Speaker 1: for President twenty twenty.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Let's go first off, first.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Time, I take it back, Tom fays off for President
- 22:35Speaker 1: twenty twenty four.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Let's go all right, listen. I don't want to.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Distract nobody right now.
- 22:40Speaker 2: At first, at first I was upset that you had practiced,
- 22:44Speaker 2: But then I was like, wow, he put a lot
- 22:45Speaker 2: of thought and work into this. He fucking rehearsed for you, guys.
- 22:48Speaker 2: He rehearsed.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Twenty twenty nine seconds.
- 22:53Speaker 2: So there you go. There is your there's your thirties
- 22:56Speaker 2: twenty nine second recap of the episode. Great episode, it was, yes,
- 23:01Speaker 2: very good episode, very.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Far when well directed.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, it's interesting about Paul Quinn. I looked
- 23:06Speaker 2: him up on IMDb. He hasn't directed much before or
- 23:10Speaker 2: much since. So I don't know what the story of
- 23:12Speaker 2: Paul Quinn is. How he came to us? When I
- 23:15Speaker 2: asked Bill, Yeah, let's ask Bill, Bill, Zach and Donald
- 23:19Speaker 2: here and our beautiful listeners on the podcast all want
- 23:23Speaker 2: to know. Paul Quinn only directed one episode of Scrubs.
- 23:27Speaker 2: He doesn't have a lot of credits before or after.
- 23:29Speaker 2: So how did Paul Quinn come to us? I think
- 23:32Speaker 2: he did a nice job, But what's the Paul Quinn story?
- 23:35Speaker 1: Bill? So this is how it works.
- 23:38Speaker 5: You all only call me when WICKI Guy or the
- 23:43Speaker 5: todd aren't available. Your your cooler, more hip friends. Fine,
- 23:50Speaker 5: I'll take it, but I don't like it. I don't
- 23:52Speaker 5: have to like it. Paul Quinn. It's an independent film
- 23:57Speaker 5: writer and director that I had gotten to now and
- 24:01Speaker 5: thought I would give him a shot, and he went
- 24:04Speaker 5: on to kind of I think this is one of
- 24:06Speaker 5: his first directing breaks, and he went on to direct
- 24:08Speaker 5: some other stuff and do that. So that's Paul Quinn.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Thank you, Bill, Thank you, William, William van Douser, Lawrence
- 24:14Speaker 2: the Third, that's his name. Did you know that?
- 24:17Speaker 1: I didn't know that William.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Van Dozer, Lawrence the Third. If that doesn't sound like
- 24:21Speaker 2: he sounds like the rich guy in Trading Places Mortimer, Yeah, no,
- 24:25Speaker 2: dan Ackrod's character. What's his name?
- 24:27Speaker 1: Oh freaking oh y Ray Valentine Now Lewis Lewis, Lewis Winthorpe.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Lewis Winthorpe, looking good.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Billy Ray, feeling good, Lewis.
- 24:40Speaker 2: I hope that's us one day.
- 24:43Speaker 1: That would be the best day of mine. My dream
- 24:45Speaker 1: is that And that's good social distancing too about him.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Yes, By the way, there's no way, there's no way
- 24:50Speaker 2: that they could hear each other from the sailboat to
- 24:52Speaker 2: the beach. That always bothered me. Looking good, Billy Ray,
- 24:56Speaker 2: feeling good, Lewis.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Already would have heard, was.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Can you promise me before we die that we will
- 25:06Speaker 2: recreate that moment together at the end of Trading Places.
- 25:10Speaker 1: You know what. I hope we get the opportunity to
- 25:13Speaker 1: relive that moment. I would like.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Today, looking good, Billy Ray, feeling good, Lewis. I want
- 25:18Speaker 2: to yell at to you while you're on it.
- 25:19Speaker 1: You'll say looking good, Faison, and I could say feeling good,
- 25:23Speaker 1: Brath what is.
- 25:24Speaker 2: That looking good at DAYO? Shun feeling good Israel. But
- 25:33Speaker 2: a day Shune is not your middle name.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Ado Shun is my middle name.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Oh, I always get confused if it's your real birth
- 25:39Speaker 2: first name.
- 25:39Speaker 1: It is. It's all my birth certificate. Donald Adeo Shun Faison. Okay,
- 25:43Speaker 1: So to West Africa, I mean sorry to Nigeria and they,
- 25:49Speaker 1: you know, fell in love with the culture and in
- 25:51Speaker 1: love with the people, and I have a Nigerian name
- 25:55Speaker 1: and I used to use it all the time. I
- 25:58Speaker 1: haven't gone by Adeos Shoon in the entertainment world in
- 26:02Speaker 1: a long time, and I kind of use it as
- 26:04Speaker 1: a filter. So if somebody calls me by my nickname,
- 26:08Speaker 1: then I'm usually like, oh shit, I should know who
- 26:11Speaker 1: this person is or who this person.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Is, especially someone from your childhood. Right if they're like,
- 26:14Speaker 2: what's up, Shoon, and You're like, oh, I must know
- 26:16Speaker 2: him from school.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Well yeah, But also like my mom my family, everybody
- 26:20Speaker 1: calls me shoon, still sodo shoon.
- 26:23Speaker 2: And me I call you shoon. You do at thirty
- 26:26Speaker 2: four seconds, Carla bitch hits, she hits me, she bitch
- 26:30Speaker 2: stops me, and I turn around a camera and that
- 26:32Speaker 2: classic like raging bull face turn It's so funny. Oh
- 26:36Speaker 2: I do to that girlish gasp. That shot is always funny,
- 26:44Speaker 2: no matter how many times we've seen it or we
- 26:46Speaker 2: did it on scrubs, It's always funny.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Getting me punched into camera always funny.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Yes, and Carly just slapping people around.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what, This whole story kind of starts
- 26:55Speaker 1: off where everybody somebody's. The word that we use in
- 26:58Speaker 1: the show is uh bach. Yeah, you know your carlo
- 27:03Speaker 1: is beach in the beginning. I would like to.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Give a shout out to the women in this episode
- 27:09Speaker 2: because they all did a fantastic job. Judy is so
- 27:14Speaker 2: good in this. Sarah unbelievably good in this, with not
- 27:17Speaker 2: only her physical comedy that she does in the beginning,
- 27:21Speaker 2: but all this crying she does. Sarah used to listen
- 27:23Speaker 2: to sad songs.
- 27:25Speaker 1: I will remember you.
- 27:27Speaker 2: I don't know if it was Sarah McLaughlin.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Or what it was. I'm telling you it was. Will
- 27:31Speaker 1: you remember me?
- 27:33Speaker 2: Do you think of like dogs being in crates?
- 27:35Speaker 1: Yeah? Exactly, And that's enough to make like one ear,
- 27:39Speaker 1: That's enough to make Sarah cry.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know if Sarah McLaughlin was always her
- 27:44Speaker 2: go to? Are you just guessing that.
- 27:45Speaker 1: I'm guessing, all right, it would be I'm trying to
- 27:48Speaker 1: think what Mike was.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Probably Josh Raiden Winter. Yeah, what song would you put
- 27:51Speaker 2: on to cry?
- 27:52Speaker 1: If I had to put on a song? Oh? Man,
- 27:54Speaker 1: you want to know what song it is?
- 27:56Speaker 2: What the score from Bambie.
- 27:57Speaker 1: It's about your people too, the Prince of Egypt, Whitney
- 28:01Speaker 1: Houston and Mariah Carrey. There can be mericles if you
- 28:06Speaker 1: believe the hope is frail. It's hard to kill. Come
- 28:13Speaker 1: on now, who knows what miracles? Sorry, when you believe
- 28:23Speaker 1: somehow you.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Will Joel, You're about to cry right now.
- 28:28Speaker 6: I think this is a cool talent show. It's the
- 28:30Speaker 6: most beautiful song maybe I've heard.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Yeah, listen, man, it's about First of all, the song's
- 28:35Speaker 1: about when Pharaoh's chasing the Jewish people out of Egypt.
- 28:41Speaker 1: It's about that is it's about the story of Moses.
- 28:45Speaker 1: It goes all the way through. It goes all the
- 28:47Speaker 1: way through, so it's him going all the way through
- 28:51Speaker 1: to him coming down from the mountain with the ten commandments.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Uh in the arc or no, he hasn't in his hands.
- 28:59Speaker 2: I think at the end of the commandments, remember from
- 29:03Speaker 2: the what was it the is it the history of Earth?
- 29:06Speaker 2: These Fifteen Commandments the World Part one?
- 29:09Speaker 1: Yea, He's but the song is amazing, man, and you
- 29:20Speaker 1: know it's you know, so that's what you would put on.
- 29:24Speaker 1: That's that song is if you ever need to cry,
- 29:27Speaker 1: whether it be, it's just such a hopeful song, you
- 29:30Speaker 1: know what I mean. We've spent this whole, this whole
- 29:34Speaker 1: I know we're jumping off topic and everything like that.
- 29:36Speaker 1: We've spent this whole time. You know. Amanda Klutes is
- 29:40Speaker 1: you know, has delivered a lot of hope to people
- 29:43Speaker 1: in this world, you know what I mean. Her faith
- 29:46Speaker 1: and her belief really helped a lot of people when
- 29:51Speaker 1: Nick was sick. And you know, for some reason, when
- 29:55Speaker 1: when you have all of that faith and you have
- 29:57Speaker 1: all of that love, it overwhelms you. Man. And so
- 30:01Speaker 1: listening to a song like that, listening to there can
- 30:05Speaker 1: be merricles when you believe it just overflowed, you just
- 30:10Speaker 1: overflow with hope and joy and faith and it just works,
- 30:14Speaker 1: you know what I mean.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Wow, that's beautiful. And now listen to it. I've never
- 30:17Speaker 2: seen the movie, I never heard the song. I'm sorry,
- 30:18Speaker 2: do you get the opportunity check it?
- 30:20Speaker 1: Out. There's a lot of really good voice over performances
- 30:24Speaker 1: in it.
- 30:24Speaker 2: What year is it? It's old?
- 30:27Speaker 1: Yeah, okay it was. But that song, first of all,
- 30:31Speaker 1: it was Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston singing it. And
- 30:34Speaker 1: I don't know if you were big Mariah carry or
- 30:36Speaker 1: Whitney Houston fans. I'm a first of all, I think
- 30:39Speaker 1: those are, you know, of my lifetime, two of the
- 30:43Speaker 1: the true versions of what a diva is as far
- 30:46Speaker 1: as being able to sing.
- 30:47Speaker 2: I had Mariah Carey interaction once.
- 30:50Speaker 1: So did I was one of the best nights of
- 30:51Speaker 1: my life. What was yours?
- 30:53Speaker 2: Well mine wasn't like we've made out or anything. Your sound.
- 30:55Speaker 1: No, we didn't make it. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Imagine.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Yeah it was totally awesome. No, we didn't take out.
- 31:00Speaker 1: I met her and Derek Jeter in the same night.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Wow. I was paing on a Mariah Carey music video
- 31:09Speaker 2: called Up on the Roof. But you can go uh
- 31:12Speaker 2: watch on YouTube and.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Uh and you mean rooftop?
- 31:17Speaker 2: No, it's called Oh is it is the song up
- 31:19Speaker 2: on the Rooftop? I thought it was up on the Roof.
- 31:21Speaker 1: I think it might be.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Can you double?
- 31:25Speaker 1: What's the one with her and mob Deep.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Well, she doesn't have two songs, one called up on
- 31:29Speaker 2: the Roof and one couple the rooftop. It's either one.
- 31:32Speaker 1: I think it's roof, yeah, mob Deep right, No, this
- 31:37Speaker 1: is called up on the the mob deep beat. I'm
- 31:39Speaker 1: telling you it's the mob Deep. Beata told you.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Now, Joel, does she have one called up on the roof?
- 31:49Speaker 2: Because I remember that I had to lug all this
- 31:51Speaker 2: stuff up to the roof. It's just the roof, all right.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Well listen, I I I the elevator broke in this
- 32:01Speaker 2: building in Brooklyn, and all the pas had to lug
- 32:03Speaker 2: all the gear up to the roof. And I was like,
- 32:05Speaker 2: I help her. Help her. Next song is called lobby. Anyway,
- 32:16Speaker 2: I got a you know, you would be a good dad.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Could you have some really good dad jokes?
- 32:20Speaker 2: That's not a dad joke, A joke, dude, I am
- 32:24Speaker 2: going to be a great dad, but not because of
- 32:26Speaker 2: my jokes, just because I'm hilarious. Listen, before the elevator broke,
- 32:30Speaker 2: I got in with Mariah and her whole posse, and
- 32:33Speaker 2: I was just the PA, and I had a baseball
- 32:34Speaker 2: hat and I looked away like, you know, I thought
- 32:37Speaker 2: you were. I didn't know. I was fresh out of
- 32:40Speaker 2: I just thought, you don't look at the star. I
- 32:41Speaker 2: just look away. And she was like, I like your
- 32:43Speaker 2: baseball hat. It was my favorite baseball hat. And I
- 32:46Speaker 2: was like, oh, thank you, thank you, like not making
- 32:48Speaker 2: eye contact, like bobbing my head, and she was like,
- 32:51Speaker 2: I might want to wear that in the video. And
- 32:53Speaker 2: I was like, oh okay, and she's like to kind
- 32:56Speaker 2: of borrow it, and I was like, oh yeah, so
- 32:59Speaker 2: her likeurage took my baseball hat and it had like
- 33:02Speaker 2: a red circle on it, and they came back to
- 33:04Speaker 2: me and they were like, hey, we want to darken
- 33:07Speaker 2: the red circle with sharpie. Is that okay? And I
- 33:10Speaker 2: was like, oh, it's kind of my favorite hat. But
- 33:12Speaker 2: I don't want to like let down Mariah, let down
- 33:14Speaker 2: the whole team, you know. I just lugged everything up
- 33:16Speaker 2: to the roof. I want the video to be good,
- 33:18Speaker 2: you know, this is what I was thinking. And they're like,
- 33:20Speaker 2: we'll give you forty dollars if you'll let us darken
- 33:23Speaker 2: the red circle with sharpie. And I was like, well,
- 33:27Speaker 2: I didn't have any money. I was probably making one
- 33:28Speaker 2: hundred bucks to be the PA. I was like gonna,
- 33:31Speaker 2: you know, increase my salary substantially. So I was like, yeah,
- 33:34Speaker 2: for forty bucks, y' all can just go to nuts
- 33:36Speaker 2: on it with a sharpie and I'll just have a
- 33:37Speaker 2: great story. So that's what happened. And I don't even
- 33:41Speaker 2: I haven't watched the video in twenty years, but she's
- 33:44Speaker 2: on the roof. I know she's on the roof any
- 33:47Speaker 2: if at any point I got to see if at
- 33:50Speaker 2: any point, anyone who, anyone who's curious, just go watch
- 33:53Speaker 2: the video and see if she's ever wearing a black
- 33:55Speaker 2: baseball cap, because that's mine, right, I got forty bucks, extra,
- 34:01Speaker 2: extra extra. That was a hard shoot. Wait, is who's
- 34:05Speaker 2: the there's a guy in the video? There was a
- 34:07Speaker 2: sexy it's Mob Deep. Oh wow.
- 34:09Speaker 1: No, I don't know. I don't know if she's making
- 34:11Speaker 1: out with the band mob Deep, but there.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Was a there was a sexy I don't know if
- 34:14Speaker 2: he was a model or an actor or whatever, but
- 34:16Speaker 2: there was a sexy Joelle. Could you made me find
- 34:18Speaker 2: out who that was? There was some sort of like
- 34:20Speaker 2: you know in the music video they have a love
- 34:21Speaker 2: interest that they're like macinon. I remember that. I don't
- 34:25Speaker 2: know if that was mob deep. It's mob deep a
- 34:27Speaker 2: rapper or a group.
- 34:28Speaker 1: It's two, it's two people.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Well, she wasn't having like a mob deep threesome. It
- 34:32Speaker 2: was like one guy. I think he had abs, right,
- 34:35Speaker 2: But then again, I worked on DiAngelo video too. Maybe
- 34:37Speaker 2: I'm conflating the two video. Yeah, I worked on a
- 34:41Speaker 2: lot of videos. I don't know the name of that song.
- 34:43Speaker 1: I remember he was dated a girl who was like
- 34:46Speaker 1: in videos like a video vixen.
- 34:50Speaker 2: No, I've never dated a video vixen, have you.
- 34:53Speaker 1: I've dated a few video vixens.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Really, yeah, any video vixens, we would know. What's the
- 34:57Speaker 2: one amber Rose?
- 35:00Speaker 1: No, I've never dated.
- 35:00Speaker 2: No, I've never dated a she's a video vixen.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Yes, i'd like Amber Rose.
- 35:05Speaker 2: I put Jamie King in my video. I directed a
- 35:10Speaker 2: video for Gavin de Grau, which is a really good
- 35:12Speaker 2: video by the way, Uh Chariot. Yeah, y'all should stop
- 35:16Speaker 2: watching the roof right now and go watch Chariot by
- 35:20Speaker 2: Gavin de Grau because I directed that video.
- 35:21Speaker 1: And well, you know in that video I threw up money.
- 35:24Speaker 2: And sorry, Yeah, you're in the video video acted by
- 35:27Speaker 2: Jamie King. You're in the video.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Before making it rain was a big deal. I threw
- 35:31Speaker 1: money up.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Are you saying you invented making it rain?
- 35:34Speaker 1: Listen? Not only did I invent keeping it real, I
- 35:36Speaker 1: also invented making it rain, just keeping it one hunted.
- 35:39Speaker 2: I didn't invent the RESTful job of my life. I
- 35:43Speaker 2: was spending so much money and it was all designed
- 35:47Speaker 2: to be an elaborate oner and at like six pm.
- 35:51Speaker 2: I don't know if you remember, we hadn't shot anything.
- 35:53Speaker 1: No, I remember we rehearsed a lot.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Oh, it was a disaster, but then it came out great.
- 35:57Speaker 1: I I I video was wonderful.
- 35:59Speaker 2: I pivoted and came up with a new plan. But
- 36:02Speaker 2: I remember that was like, that's literally the probably the
- 36:04Speaker 2: most stressful day of my of my directing career.
- 36:07Speaker 1: The person who made the stage in the video also
- 36:11Speaker 1: was the head of for Scrubs.
- 36:14Speaker 2: No, well, yes, and No Cabot designed it. Yeah, Cabot McMullan,
- 36:18Speaker 2: who was our production designer Scrubs, came up with an
- 36:20Speaker 2: awesome idea of these spinning turntables. And if I were
- 36:24Speaker 2: to go back, I know how to do it. So
- 36:26Speaker 2: first of all, if you have one hundred people and
- 36:28Speaker 2: you're trying to not cut the camera. You need a
- 36:30Speaker 2: full dey rehearsal, but that's so expensive to pay everyone
- 36:33Speaker 2: for a full day rehearsal, So we tried to do
- 36:34Speaker 2: it without a full de rehearsal, and by six pm
- 36:37Speaker 2: we hadn't shot a foot of film and I was
- 36:40Speaker 2: on the verge of a panic attack. But if you
- 36:42Speaker 2: watch the video, it came out really good. And Donald
- 36:44Speaker 2: Fason is in it looking fly. You're like, you're actually
- 36:47Speaker 2: you're playing a music video director in the video.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Yeah I am, And you're making it rain and make
- 36:53Speaker 1: it right.
- 36:54Speaker 2: And there's bouncing booties. The idea was that he's in
- 36:58Speaker 2: a video and the director's trying to make it be
- 37:00Speaker 2: something that he's not. And I remember MTV had a
- 37:02Speaker 2: rule in the day where you couldn't show a bouncing
- 37:05Speaker 2: booty and then not connect it to a head. Yeah,
- 37:08Speaker 2: you couldn't just show a bouncing booty. You had to
- 37:11Speaker 2: like the rule still.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Is that rule still?
- 37:14Speaker 2: I have no idea whether they used to't used to
- 37:15Speaker 2: not be able to show a gun either. They had
- 37:17Speaker 2: a lot of rules.
- 37:17Speaker 1: I understand not showing the booty without the head because
- 37:20Speaker 1: somebody want to be like, is that my booty?
- 37:23Speaker 2: I don't know. They probably thought it was rude to
- 37:25Speaker 2: just show a bouncing booty and then not show whose
- 37:27Speaker 2: booty it was. But I just remember someone coming to
- 37:31Speaker 2: me like, hey, if you're gonna shoot that booty, the
- 37:33Speaker 2: camera now has to come up and show the woman's head,
- 37:36Speaker 2: which was on my face, just her head, Yeah, I
- 37:39Speaker 2: take her head.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Think they just wanted to make sure that the booty
- 37:42Speaker 1: was connected to an actual person.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it wasn't like I don't know what the rule.
- 37:46Speaker 2: I guess the rule was. What do you guys think?
- 37:48Speaker 2: Do you think it was intended to be out of
- 37:50Speaker 2: respect for the dancer? I guess right, I don't know,
- 37:52Speaker 2: but and I was fine with the rule. But I
- 37:54Speaker 2: remember we were mocking. We were spoofing, like like these
- 37:58Speaker 2: these these wrap video that had you know, dancers shaking
- 38:02Speaker 2: their booties pretty much too.
- 38:04Speaker 1: Baby got back similar to.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Right, And I remember being told like, hey, you gotta
- 38:07Speaker 2: make sure the cameraman tilts up to connect all heads
- 38:10Speaker 2: to booties. There he goes a little trivia for you
- 38:12Speaker 2: listeners out there. All right, on that note, on the
- 38:15Speaker 2: note of dancing bouncing booties, We'll be right back.
- 38:24Speaker 1: So Troy and the janitor, wait, you're.
- 38:26Speaker 2: Going too fast.
- 38:27Speaker 1: No, I'm not.
- 38:28Speaker 2: Snoop Dogg Resident is in the back of almost every
- 38:30Speaker 2: shot in this episode, and I have a theory that
- 38:32Speaker 2: he's a spy. I don't know, but I want you
- 38:37Speaker 2: another hospital the Russians. I don't know. I want you
- 38:40Speaker 2: to watch this episode and in the back of your
- 38:42Speaker 2: head make up a subplot that Snoop Dogg Resident is
- 38:45Speaker 2: spying on all the main characters because he's in the
- 38:48Speaker 2: background of like ten shots. Yeah, the first one's at you.
- 38:53Speaker 1: You said something earlier in this podcast that I didn't
- 38:57Speaker 1: necessarily echo, and I want to echo it now. You're
- 38:59Speaker 1: absolutely right about Sarah.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Yeah, echo.
- 39:02Speaker 1: She's very funny in this in this episode, I I
- 39:06Speaker 1: and and funny, and I and funny throughout the rest
- 39:08Speaker 1: of the series. Also, I imagine the writers had a
- 39:12Speaker 1: really good time writing for that character because of all
- 39:14Speaker 1: of the things that she you know, she's clumsy, she's
- 39:17Speaker 1: you know, she puts her foot in her mouth, she does.
- 39:20Speaker 2: And there's physical comedy that she does when she's trying
- 39:22Speaker 2: to get Johnny's attention around to twenty seven and she's
- 39:25Speaker 2: just flopping around, and it was really well shot.
- 39:29Speaker 1: She was and she did such a great job too.
- 39:31Speaker 2: And she's very funny. She just flopping her whole body
- 39:34Speaker 2: all around.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:35Speaker 2: At one forty one, you accidentally see a pillow light
- 39:38Speaker 2: that'saw on the ceiling. For those of you who like
- 39:41Speaker 2: looking at fuck ups.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Did you get that from scrubs Wiki?
- 39:44Speaker 2: No, that was myself. I noticed. How did they fucking
- 39:46Speaker 2: not crop that out? But I saw it. I do
- 39:49Speaker 2: have some scrubs Wiki. A pillow light, by the way,
- 39:51Speaker 2: is this light that used to put on the ceiling
- 39:53Speaker 2: that would basically was just a piece of cloth that
- 39:55Speaker 2: would soften the the fluorescent lights in the ceiling. And
- 39:59Speaker 2: they were all over the place and we had to
- 40:01Speaker 2: frame them out. But you can see one if you
- 40:02Speaker 2: want to see what it looks like. Scrubs Wickie has
- 40:05Speaker 2: a weird I have a bone to pick with Trevor
- 40:07Speaker 2: Or or one of his thousand minions because they said
- 40:11Speaker 2: something that that I looked at and is not true.
- 40:13Speaker 2: It says that there's a continuity mistake. It says, uh,
- 40:18Speaker 2: when doctor Kelso speaks gibberish to Carlo, you can see
- 40:21Speaker 2: the actor playing a patient is standing still and starts
- 40:23Speaker 2: moving only when Kelso starts speaking. Didn't see that Zach
- 40:27Speaker 2: Braff is looking over at the director waiting for command
- 40:30Speaker 2: to start drinking his coffee. No, not not true. So
- 40:34Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know if it was Trevor or
- 40:35Speaker 2: one of his minions. But hey, I I scrubs Wicki's
- 40:38Speaker 2: not always accurate, Guys.
- 40:40Speaker 1: I was gonna say what I said before and everybody
- 40:43Speaker 1: got upset about it. But he don't want to do this.
- 40:46Speaker 2: No, he does, he does. I thought I thought he
- 40:49Speaker 2: gave a very enthusion, Joelle. You communicate with him. Is
- 40:51Speaker 2: he is? He? Is he enjoying this? Does he know
- 40:53Speaker 2: about the gift? Guy? He's going to get off the
- 40:55Speaker 2: Tunko pop signed. He loves you, guys.
- 40:57Speaker 6: He tends us some messages like he loves the show
- 41:00Speaker 6: and it and no he's very into it.
- 41:04Speaker 7: Okay, but you ordered them, really excited about the Funko pops.
- 41:06Speaker 7: And it's not gonna sell.
- 41:07Speaker 2: Them on the bay.
- 41:08Speaker 1: He promised, Okay, he promised he wouldn't sell them on
- 41:10Speaker 1: e Bay.
- 41:10Speaker 7: Promised he wouldn't sell them on the obbay. He would
- 41:13Speaker 7: cherish them forever. All right, Well, get us those like
- 41:15Speaker 7: a lot.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Of me, that's like a lot of me.
- 41:18Speaker 2: Get us those Funko pops because I'm gonna.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Cherish funko pops forever, my ass. I know exactly what
- 41:23Speaker 1: he's gonna do with those funko pops.
- 41:25Speaker 2: No, Trevor WICKI, I want to tell you something. I
- 41:28Speaker 2: have yet to sign a Scrubs funko pop. So you will.
- 41:31Speaker 2: You will have the only signed one in existence.
- 41:33Speaker 1: So I've signed a couple of them. And yes, so
- 41:36Speaker 1: like you know, you do signings at Comic Con. Like,
- 41:39Speaker 1: I'm a huge Star Wars fan. We all know this.
- 41:41Speaker 1: I got the I was lucky enough to be able
- 41:43Speaker 1: to go to celebration and sign for my character in
- 41:47Speaker 1: the Star Wars Universe, hype Caason from Star Wars Resistance.
- 41:50Speaker 1: If you haven't watched the show, it's now streaming on
- 41:52Speaker 1: Disney Plus. Just put it out there anyway. You know,
- 41:57Speaker 1: people came up to me when I was signing for
- 41:59Speaker 1: that and this love movie I did called Clueless back
- 42:01Speaker 1: in the day. I was also at C two each
- 42:03Speaker 1: They clus pops, they should well, we had a big
- 42:06Speaker 1: Clueless reunion at C two E two and there as well,
- 42:11Speaker 1: people came up to my signing booth with the Turk
- 42:15Speaker 1: Funko pop.
- 42:17Speaker 2: All right, I have so Donald has signed for you.
- 42:19Speaker 2: I want Trevor Wickie to know that I have never
- 42:23Speaker 2: signed a JD. Funkel pop. So until the world reopens
- 42:27Speaker 2: and someone random comes up to me, he will have
- 42:29Speaker 2: the only signed JD. Funkl pop in existence.
- 42:32Speaker 1: That's if he changes his attitude.
- 42:36Speaker 2: No, don't fucking it up right now, he's doing a
- 42:39Speaker 2: good job.
- 42:41Speaker 1: Change your attitude.
- 42:43Speaker 2: I saw someone on on my Instagram or somewhere and wrote, like,
- 42:46Speaker 2: Zach Donald, the dude is not into this. I love
- 42:53Speaker 2: the the ship that people write how invested you guys
- 42:57Speaker 2: are in the show. It really makes me laugh when
- 43:00Speaker 2: people when I posted that Ken was coming on the show,
- 43:03Speaker 2: like I had like hundreds of comments that were like
- 43:05Speaker 2: he's done moving and uh. It just made me smile
- 43:10Speaker 2: to know that you guys are.
- 43:11Speaker 1: My favorite thing about the Ken episode is that he
- 43:14Speaker 1: Kelso's me at the end of the day.
- 43:18Speaker 2: The best ending. That was the best ending. That was
- 43:21Speaker 2: the best ending to any podcast we've done, because like
- 43:25Speaker 2: everybody thought he was going to be like sweet and
- 43:27Speaker 2: then he just fucking kelseled your out.
- 43:28Speaker 1: He kelsoed the crap out of me. Dude. I loved it.
- 43:33Speaker 2: The Lost Dark Yes, my face melts.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Yes, that was well, that was amazing. You know I
- 43:41Speaker 1: love that part.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I know you did.
- 43:43Speaker 1: As soon as that shit happened, I was like, yeah,
- 43:45Speaker 1: you know what, this is the best part of the show.
- 43:48Speaker 2: That was done. Well. Now, did you see Indiana Jones
- 43:50Speaker 2: in the Temple of Doom in the theater?
- 43:53Speaker 1: I sure did, all right.
- 43:54Speaker 2: Well, my mom turned to me and she saw me
- 43:56Speaker 2: in the fetal position in my chair and she said,
- 43:59Speaker 2: you want to go play arcade games in the lobby
- 44:03Speaker 2: and I just was like, I would like to do that,
- 44:09Speaker 2: and we fucking sprinted out of that theater. Left my
- 44:12Speaker 2: stepfather to finish the movie. I'm gonna we played some games.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Temple of Doom is it's so absurd, Like, look, he
- 44:24Speaker 1: does some pretty outrageous ship throughout all of these movies
- 44:27Speaker 1: where you're like, get the fuck out of here, but
- 44:29Speaker 1: Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones jumps out of a plane
- 44:34Speaker 1: in a boat in a blow up boat and survives
- 44:39Speaker 1: several stories of falling onto a mountain, which then he
- 44:43Speaker 1: goes down on the boat like it's a bob sled
- 44:47Speaker 1: to only go off the cliff up set mountain into
- 44:50Speaker 1: a river that is several stories below the cliff and
- 44:56Speaker 1: then make it through raging waters only two be Cohorst
- 45:03Speaker 1: into finding sip A Linga the stone.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Dude, you're not You're not trying to recap the movie.
- 45:11Speaker 2: We're not timing you to recap the entire film.
- 45:14Speaker 1: That's ridiculously. It's just crazy. First of all, that movie
- 45:18Speaker 1: is just so much ridiculous after ridiculous, and I loved it.
- 45:21Speaker 2: If you like the most the recent one with the
- 45:24Speaker 2: last one wasn't How many are there? There's four or five? Four?
- 45:28Speaker 1: Four? This is what you like?
- 45:29Speaker 2: Four.
- 45:30Speaker 1: This is when I knew I was in trouble. When
- 45:34Speaker 1: they blew up the nuclear bomb and he came falling
- 45:37Speaker 1: out of the the uh, the the refrigerator without being melted.
- 45:43Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, now we've crossed. We've crossed the
- 45:46Speaker 1: line here. Indiana Jones is now the facus of the
- 45:49Speaker 1: facus of the fake.
- 45:51Speaker 2: But so you prefer one and two or do you
- 45:53Speaker 2: also like three?
- 45:54Speaker 1: I love three. I think three is one of the
- 45:55Speaker 1: better ones.
- 45:56Speaker 2: Okay, there you go.
- 45:58Speaker 1: I'd loved I loved uh Sean Connery as Henry Jones.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Yeah, let's talk about at two o five when there's
- 46:10Speaker 2: Sarah's talking and you hear the noise? Ye, I think
- 46:13Speaker 2: that's Bill? What so, Sarah? The joke is that the
- 46:18Speaker 2: Johnny C's like, whenever you talk, all I hear is
- 46:20Speaker 2: this loud.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Screeching noise and then that's Bill's voice.
- 46:23Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure that it's Bill doing that ye noise
- 46:28Speaker 2: for Sarah.
- 46:29Speaker 1: Let's ask Bill, Bill, is it you?
- 46:31Speaker 2: When Sarah's talking to me and in JD's heady, here's
- 46:34Speaker 2: a loud screeching noise. Is that you, my friend? It
- 46:37Speaker 2: sounds like you. I know you know your.
- 46:39Speaker 1: Voice at the tour one Mark.
- 46:41Speaker 5: I don't think I ever looped anything for Sarah. I
- 46:43Speaker 5: looped a lot of stuff for Zach whenever JD fell and.
- 46:45Speaker 1: We didn't have a good.
- 46:48Speaker 5: Everybody took turns doing that.
- 46:51Speaker 1: But I don't think I ever did Sarah.
- 46:52Speaker 5: I might have done when she blows hair out of
- 46:55Speaker 5: her eyes, but that's about it. I'm gonna start saying
- 46:58Speaker 5: questions your way so I don't feel like someone that
- 47:02Speaker 5: is third on your podcast booty call dial list, whatever
- 47:07Speaker 5: that means.
- 47:08Speaker 1: All right?
- 47:08Speaker 2: See what about when the janitor is trying to be
- 47:11Speaker 2: friends with me and I'm really nervous, So I'm like,
- 47:13Speaker 2: what is up with you man.
- 47:16Speaker 1: Very funny. That made me laugh the whole Janitor JD Troy.
- 47:21Speaker 2: Troy, Well, this is Troy's introduction, and I also laughed
- 47:25Speaker 2: when he when he's like, he's like, you think I
- 47:27Speaker 2: only know like Janitor words And I'm like, and he's like,
- 47:29Speaker 2: maybe you moppn't He turns mop into a word. Yeah,
- 47:35Speaker 2: Mop you very much, Mop you very much. At four
- 47:38Speaker 2: forty five, I say, nothing's worse than a ninja. They're
- 47:40Speaker 2: masters of every style of combat.
- 47:42Speaker 1: And they are Do you believe that I've never met
- 47:45Speaker 1: a ninja before? But I wouldn't know if I ever
- 47:47Speaker 1: met a ninja.
- 47:48Speaker 2: But do you think a ninja is the best? Is
- 47:50Speaker 2: like their most fear? Would you be most feared if
- 47:52Speaker 2: you had to fight anyone of a ninja?
- 47:55Speaker 1: I would be most feared if I had to fight
- 47:57Speaker 1: anyone that was involved in any type of special forces,
- 48:01Speaker 1: you know what I mean, whether it be Navy, seal,
- 48:05Speaker 1: green Beret, samurai, ninja, you know who I would want
- 48:10Speaker 1: to fight like a white belt. Let me just fight
- 48:12Speaker 1: like a normal white belt. You know what I'm saying.
- 48:14Speaker 1: Let's get into that type of fight, because then I'm
- 48:16Speaker 1: not going to be as nervous. All this person isn't
- 48:18Speaker 1: as experienced. But once you get past black belt and
- 48:21Speaker 1: you're now a Special Forces type of thing, right, I
- 48:25Speaker 1: don't want to fight you.
- 48:25Speaker 2: But what about like what about like a street fighter?
- 48:27Speaker 2: Like what that guy's named Kembo Slice?
- 48:30Speaker 1: That dude was Special Forces dude. Yeah, he didn't pass away,
- 48:34Speaker 1: but that dude was Special Forces. Man. That's not like
- 48:36Speaker 1: fighting a regular.
- 48:37Speaker 2: Person with special Forces.
- 48:38Speaker 1: No, but that's not like fighting a regular person.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Man.
- 48:40Speaker 1: The dude played football. The dude had his background made
- 48:47Speaker 1: him prepared to not only just become a great street brawler,
- 48:52Speaker 1: but make it into the actual UFC and be a
- 48:55Speaker 1: very popular He was decent. He was learning, that's the thing, man,
- 48:59Speaker 1: He was learning. And that's and that's most important when
- 49:02Speaker 1: it comes to fighting, because mixed martial arts isn't a discipline.
- 49:06Speaker 1: It's a bunch of different disciplines all melded together. So
- 49:09Speaker 1: if you can freaking if you can become a rogue
- 49:13Speaker 1: or not a well in video in like video games,
- 49:15Speaker 1: you choose the rogue because the rogue does you know
- 49:19Speaker 1: everything pretty you know pretty decently. But in real life,
- 49:21Speaker 1: if you could become like a somebody who could do
- 49:24Speaker 1: something like that. Someone who could do? You know I
- 49:26Speaker 1: could do? I can't. I can't wrestle the greatest, but
- 49:28Speaker 1: I'm good enough. I can't you know, punch the greatest,
- 49:31Speaker 1: but I'm good enough. I can't kick the greatest, but
- 49:33Speaker 1: I'm good enough. If you could become that, you're just
- 49:35Speaker 1: as good as a master.
- 49:36Speaker 2: Who do you think you'd last longer against a ninja
- 49:39Speaker 2: or Kimbo Slice.
- 49:43Speaker 1: I don't think i'd even get a chance to say
- 49:45Speaker 1: a word with a ninja. A ninja would be like
- 49:49Speaker 1: and then with Kimbo Slice. The minute I said, yeah,
- 49:52Speaker 1: I'll fight him.
- 49:56Speaker 2: I saw this Chembo Slice video where he did. I
- 49:59Speaker 2: don't know. I didn't watch a lot of I don't
- 50:00Speaker 2: know if he always rolled up in an SUV and
- 50:01Speaker 2: just got out and then beat the show.
- 50:02Speaker 1: And the fighters, yeah, and the fighters in the in
- 50:05Speaker 1: the videos.
- 50:06Speaker 2: Yet he had never see anything like that. He rolls
- 50:08Speaker 2: up in a car, everyone's waiting, he just gets out,
- 50:10Speaker 2: walks under the dude and just goes damn. And the
- 50:12Speaker 2: guy was donny left he got back in the car.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Yo, I was dancing my ass off in this episode.
- 50:17Speaker 2: Man. Yes, And apparently it's all the same dance because
- 50:20Speaker 2: Judy can't tell the difference between all your different dances.
- 50:24Speaker 1: Well, I was doing different. I was pure wedding in
- 50:26Speaker 1: this shit I've never done. I didn't realize I had
- 50:28Speaker 1: that skill. You really don't like Bonnie, Well, it's not
- 50:33Speaker 1: that I don't like.
- 50:34Speaker 2: You're jealous of Bonnie.
- 50:35Speaker 1: Yeah, Bonnie's a good hur Jealous that Bonnie's so good
- 50:39Speaker 1: at her job.
- 50:40Speaker 2: And was this whole plot point to get Leela Lee's
- 50:42Speaker 2: character Bonnie off the show because she got her own show, right.
- 50:46Speaker 1: No, she hadn't told anybody at this point that she
- 50:48Speaker 1: had gotten her own show. She had told me while
- 50:50Speaker 1: we were shooting this episode, though, that she was gonna
- 50:53Speaker 1: go do the pilot for Tremors, and she didn't know
- 50:56Speaker 1: if she was going to be able to or maybe
- 50:58Speaker 1: it had already been picked up. Also, people gott mad,
- 51:01Speaker 1: I know, holy.
- 51:02Speaker 2: Shit, people got mad in the movie Tremors.
- 51:05Speaker 1: Listens is a good movie, guys. Trimmers is a good movie.
- 51:08Speaker 1: But compared to Jaws, come on, all Trimmers is it's
- 51:11Speaker 1: a remake of Jaws on land. Don't give me this bullshit, yow,
- 51:15Speaker 1: don't give me this bullshit. Guys. I love you all
- 51:17Speaker 1: to death. I love you to death, but come on now.
- 51:19Speaker 2: But you come on anything on the interwebs without someone
- 51:22Speaker 2: getting upset down.
- 51:23Speaker 1: You could be like original what you could be like.
- 51:26Speaker 2: I love pasta and someone will be like pasta killed
- 51:29Speaker 2: my father. You know you can't like you can't win.
- 51:33Speaker 2: You said you didn't like tremors as much as Jaws.
- 51:35Speaker 2: People were like flipping tables.
- 51:37Speaker 1: Yeah, people got mad, dude, people got mad.
- 51:40Speaker 2: Now. But when you're dancing, and Judy and I are
- 51:44Speaker 2: talking and she's like, which dance is that? And I'm like,
- 51:48Speaker 2: that's his. There's a sale on lotion dance.
- 51:50Speaker 1: No, he said, or it could be his, or it
- 51:52Speaker 1: might be his.
- 51:53Speaker 2: There's a sale on lotion dance. There's so many dances.
- 51:58Speaker 2: And then I laughed when Troy is ladling out the
- 52:00Speaker 2: Sloppy Joe's and I'm like, it's not like you're ladling
- 52:02Speaker 2: out sloppy Joe's. And they cut to Troy and I go,
- 52:05Speaker 2: my uncle was a joer.
- 52:08Speaker 1: You had a lot of Woody Allen moments in this episode.
- 52:10Speaker 2: There's a lot of them. My uncle was a joer.
- 52:14Speaker 2: Like what like joer is a position in the cafeteria.
- 52:21Speaker 2: You learned you learned sign.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Language I did for that episode. It's gone. Now I'm
- 52:26Speaker 1: gonna be asked with you. I didn't remember any of
- 52:27Speaker 1: this episode. I've just remembered little moments. I remember the
- 52:30Speaker 1: Raiders of the Lost Dark Thing. When that was about
- 52:32Speaker 1: to happen, I was like, oh shit, is the Raiders
- 52:33Speaker 1: of the Lost Dark Thing. And I remember Troy and
- 52:36Speaker 1: the janitor in the egg salad.
- 52:38Speaker 2: Yeah, online, it's gross. That's freaking gross. And I remember
- 52:42Speaker 2: we were all there because we wanted to see how
- 52:44Speaker 2: fucking gross it was. Now it says on scrubs Wiki
- 52:46Speaker 2: that there was there was bets for people to eat
- 52:49Speaker 2: that egg salad after they both bathed in it. I don't.
- 52:51Speaker 2: I don't remember that, do you.
- 52:52Speaker 1: I would not have I don't remember that either. That
- 52:55Speaker 1: is disgusting.
- 52:55Speaker 2: Not no, I know, just him all up in Troy's
- 52:58Speaker 2: ass crack.
- 52:58Speaker 1: Oh my god. And I remember him doing like the
- 53:00Speaker 1: little slather in the area to cover he.
- 53:03Speaker 2: Got more into it. Yeah. I think Neil. I think
- 53:06Speaker 2: I felt bad.
- 53:07Speaker 1: For Neil and it was like, I don't want to
- 53:08Speaker 1: be in this ship.
- 53:09Speaker 2: Neil was like, you know, we all had to do fantasies.
- 53:11Speaker 2: We didn't want to do sometimes and Neil had to
- 53:13Speaker 2: suck it up and be in the eggs ol. But
- 53:15Speaker 2: Troy was like into it.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Yeah, he was like, Yo, if this ship works out,
- 53:19Speaker 1: Troy's gonna be a fucking character on this episode and
- 53:21Speaker 1: this series. And because of that, Joe Rose went on
- 53:25Speaker 1: to Troy, who played Troy went on to be on
- 53:28Speaker 1: the show for several years.
- 53:32Speaker 2: Yeah, well, he was funny. It all started with an
- 53:35Speaker 2: egg salad bath when Kelso says, I can't be pulling
- 53:39Speaker 2: over for those nylons that come in plastic eggs. My
- 53:43Speaker 2: mom used to have those. Remember when when panty hills
- 53:46Speaker 2: would come in an egg, Yeah, I do remember, and
- 53:49Speaker 2: we'd steal them and play with him.
- 53:50Speaker 1: We'd like, I do remember that when it was fake
- 53:56Speaker 1: Easter egg hunts with them.
- 53:57Speaker 2: I don't know when it is that women stopped to
- 53:59Speaker 2: wear those, but like back in the day, my mom
- 54:02Speaker 2: always rocked those pantyhose with the eggs that egg.
- 54:08Speaker 1: I wonder whose idea was that we'll put the panty
- 54:10Speaker 1: hose in the egg?
- 54:11Speaker 2: Right? It worked. It was a great It was a
- 54:12Speaker 2: great marketing tool for me. I was like, they get
- 54:16Speaker 2: another egg, Mom, I got more match box cars to
- 54:18Speaker 2: put them, there no one, no one buy. I don't
- 54:21Speaker 2: even sell them anymore. Well, do you know if they
- 54:23Speaker 2: even sell them in an egg anymore.
- 54:24Speaker 1: I'm sure they.
- 54:24Speaker 6: Still sell them at like a Macy's or something, but yeah,
- 54:27Speaker 6: mid odds handy hose go out of style, and then
- 54:30Speaker 6: spanks came in and women just push that whole game up.
- 54:33Speaker 2: So so women don't really wear I mean, I'm sure
- 54:36Speaker 2: seniors do. But do women not wear the sheer skin
- 54:39Speaker 2: colored nylons anymore?
- 54:43Speaker 6: Yeah, if you have issues with your legs, are performing,
- 54:45Speaker 6: or it's like a very fancy event, you might. But
- 54:49Speaker 6: I think specifically millennial and younger generations are like, if
- 54:53Speaker 6: they're wearing pantyhose, it's like a fashion statement.
- 54:55Speaker 3: You know.
- 54:55Speaker 2: It was the idea, was the idea that it was
- 54:57Speaker 2: almost like a filter, Like it's just just without being obvious,
- 55:00Speaker 2: smoothed out your leg. Yeah, okay, I never thought about
- 55:04Speaker 2: it until now. Something about a tushy. I wrote down, Oh,
- 55:08Speaker 2: the Laura's tushy. I just want to wash it. Is
- 55:10Speaker 2: that weird?
- 55:11Speaker 1: That is weird.
- 55:13Speaker 2: It's not weird.
- 55:14Speaker 1: Hold hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 55:18Speaker 2: When you if you were to see a nice tushy,
- 55:21Speaker 2: you wouldn't think, oh, that would be nice to give
- 55:23Speaker 2: it a little scrubb and dub to wash wash.
- 55:26Speaker 4: It was.
- 55:28Speaker 2: I don't mean the crack, I mean the cheeks. Just
- 55:30Speaker 2: give it a little little polish. I mean, am I
- 55:39Speaker 2: revealing my own weird fetish.
- 55:40Speaker 1: I guess I think that's great.
- 55:42Speaker 2: I think I probably improvised that too. It's probably on
- 55:45Speaker 2: my mind.
- 55:46Speaker 1: I think that's wonderful.
- 55:48Speaker 2: When I saw a Weird Science and they were showering
- 55:51Speaker 2: with Kelly LeBrock, I thought that was very erotic.
- 55:54Speaker 1: I thought I thought that was one of the funniest
- 55:57Speaker 1: scenes in the movie. Remember when they're shower I went
- 56:00Speaker 1: there and she's showering and they're just sitting in the
- 56:02Speaker 1: corner with their jeans on and everything like that.
- 56:04Speaker 2: But I remember being young and thinking like that was
- 56:07Speaker 2: super erotic. Okay, we have a caller, our dear listeners,
- 56:12Speaker 2: and you know the callers are always fun. We had
- 56:14Speaker 2: Banks last time, who was high as a kite.
- 56:16Speaker 1: Banks was on fire.
- 56:18Speaker 2: He was smoking something good. And we will be right
- 56:21Speaker 2: back after these words.
- 56:30Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Jacqueline.
- 56:33Speaker 2: God's Jacqueline. Hi Special, Hi guys, how are you Hi, Welcome, welcome, welcome.
- 56:42Speaker 4: Oh my goodness, I'm so excited to see you, guys.
- 56:45Speaker 4: This is such a wonderful, wonderful thing. I've actually finished
- 56:49Speaker 4: rewatching the entire series again for probably like the sixth
- 56:53Speaker 4: or seventh time.
- 56:54Speaker 2: Look at that adorable child that just came in the room.
- 56:58Speaker 2: This is miss Ruby him.
- 56:59Speaker 4: As My husband and I work opposite schedules, so we might,
- 57:04Speaker 4: you know, have a couple of.
- 57:06Speaker 2: Oh that's fine, we both we both love.
- 57:07Speaker 4: I don't have a good closet situation, like.
- 57:09Speaker 2: We both love kids and uh and so don't find
- 57:13Speaker 2: their way up here. She keeps peaking out behind you
- 57:17Speaker 2: she wear what does her shirt say?
- 57:18Speaker 6: What does your shirt say?
- 57:20Speaker 1: Showing your shirt?
- 57:21Speaker 4: No?
- 57:23Speaker 1: No, don't make me mama.
- 57:26Speaker 4: So, I don't know if you guys were able to
- 57:28Speaker 4: see the video, but I had sent it to Joe
- 57:31Speaker 4: Well of Ruby singing the scrub song because we.
- 57:37Speaker 2: Can we hear it? Will Ruby do it for us?
- 57:40Speaker 1: Ruby?
- 57:40Speaker 2: You want to sing it?
- 57:42Speaker 1: Maybe we can sing.
- 57:43Speaker 6: It with you Ruby, if you guys want to kick
- 57:45Speaker 6: it off and sing it.
- 57:46Speaker 2: With her, Ruby, don't be shy.
- 57:50Speaker 1: Which drum song she's singing the theme song this show?
- 57:54Speaker 4: So I had been watching it so much. Well, just
- 57:57Speaker 4: by you know, cooking and doing stuff. She got a
- 58:01Speaker 4: hold of the theme song and there's a video of
- 58:03Speaker 4: her singing it.
- 58:04Speaker 1: You know, I can't do this song.
- 58:08Speaker 5: Nice.
- 58:08Speaker 2: Well, maybe Dan could cut it in. Dan, could you
- 58:10Speaker 2: do that? You think, Yeah, there we go, We'll cut
- 58:12Speaker 2: it in right here.
- 58:14Speaker 8: I K.
- 58:17Speaker 2: And I know it.
- 58:20Speaker 1: Well. You got a little bit of a New York
- 58:24Speaker 1: accent there? Where are you calling that?
- 58:26Speaker 4: A I so we just moved to Philly, But I'm
- 58:32Speaker 4: from Long Island. We just moved here, so I grew
- 58:34Speaker 4: up on Long Island. I'm a Long Island girl.
- 58:36Speaker 2: Yeah, we like your accent reminds us both a home.
- 58:39Speaker 1: Thank you?
- 58:40Speaker 2: All right? Do you have a question for for Donald, myself, Daniel, Joelle, anybody?
- 58:45Speaker 2: I do.
- 58:46Speaker 4: I was wondering because when you guys talk, your banter
- 58:50Speaker 4: is so very much Turk and JD. So I was
- 58:54Speaker 4: wondering if there is some part of your character that
- 58:57Speaker 4: you played that you really had to like act the
- 59:00Speaker 4: crap out of that, like is just not part of
- 59:02Speaker 4: your personality at all.
- 59:04Speaker 2: That's a good question. I don't know. I mean, I
- 59:08Speaker 2: I don't think it was. There was certainly parts that
- 59:10Speaker 2: were hard to act. But I definitely think that over
- 59:14Speaker 2: the years the characters really morphed with who Donald and
- 59:18Speaker 2: I really are as people, because Bill would just go
- 59:21Speaker 2: to our lives and just write stuff that we told
- 59:24Speaker 2: them we did on the weekend and just pick things out.
- 59:27Speaker 2: And yeah, I mean it really was. It really did
- 59:29Speaker 2: truly overlap with who we are. And as you can
- 59:31Speaker 2: see from listening or hear from listening to the podcast,
- 59:34Speaker 2: you know that the answer and friendship we have is
- 59:36Speaker 2: very similar to the two characters, right. Well, it's very genuine.
- 59:39Speaker 2: You could obviously see that he that I liked that
- 59:42Speaker 2: when you said talk because it reminded me of Jersey
- 59:45Speaker 2: and when I when I call home and everyone's like
- 59:48Speaker 2: talk walk chocolate Dog. We got to walk the dog.
- 59:51Speaker 4: Create fun of every single day at work.
- 59:53Speaker 2: I'm not making fun of you, Philly.
- 59:55Speaker 1: How would I'm making fun of you and Philly? They
- 59:57Speaker 1: got accents in Philly too.
- 59:59Speaker 2: Yeah, but they don't have a Long Island. They don't
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: have Long Island.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: They all love it though it's.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: Long Island is very similar to Jersey.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: It is.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: Chocolate y'all.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Don't even call it long Island. It's Long Island. It's
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: a Gland Island coffee talk.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: Remember there was a show on us and now coffee talk.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Talk Talk, talk amongst yourselves.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: Talk amongst yourselves. It's coffee talk, all right, Another question?
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: I had one more question. I know you you guys
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: are kind of sign Field fans, right, you guys have
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: watched the show?
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Never watched an episode of sign I've watched. I've only
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: watched a couple of episodes of Seinfeld. There's a few shows. Listen.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: When I was learning how to do sitcom stuff, I
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: would watch Friends and Seinfeld and stuff like that as
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: research and stuff, but as far as watching it on
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: the regular, not so much. And that's crazy because Seinfeld
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: is based on the building I grew up in. I
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: grew up with Kenny Kramer. I knew his daughter. Larry
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: David lived in the building. And I don't know who
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: the Seinfeld character supports because Jerry Seinfeld, I don't recall
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Jerry Seinfeld living in the building I grew up in.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: But Larry David and Kenny Kramer, you know, I know
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: the real Kenny Kramer. I know his daughter Crazy, I
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: grew up with her.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: I've seen some I know about you. I've seen some episodes,
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: but it wasn't It's not a show I've seen every
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: single one. But we can probably still answer the question.
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: Well, okay, Well, the reason why I brought it up
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: is because there's I just think of like Scrubs as
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: being in a time capsule in a way, because now
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: a days, you have computer at your face all the time,
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: all the answers are there, you could look up anything.
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: I was thinking of Seinfeld because there's a specific episode
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: where they are It's shot entirely in a parking garage,
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: and the whole episode is them trying to find their
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: car and find each other, and it's like, there's no
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: way that would ever work today. And I was thinking that,
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: you know, I don't know, and I'm wondering.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: How you feel about it.
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: I don't know if Scrubs would have worked as well
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: if it were shot today, with our social media and
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: you know, our phones the way that they are and
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: just being able to look things up whenever you want
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: and stuff like that. I just think, I don't know,
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: what do you guys think?
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: I think Scrubs would have worked today? Actually, I think
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: it would have. Actually, well, yeah, look at what's going
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: on right now. We would have been able to tackle
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: really crazy issues like COVID nineteen and you know, racing
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: for the cure for cancer and HIV. And if you
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: look at television, how on television now there's more you know,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: ads to to make you feel better, but to press
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: you know, the pills, to press the shit out of
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: you or make you have suicidal thoughts and stuff like that.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: I think all of these things, because of where the
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: medical field is right now, would have been touched with
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Scrubs because we were a medical show. And also we
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: were groundbreaking too, Like you know, there a lot of
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: shows took their cue from us, and so if we
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: had never come out back then a lot of the
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: tricks and stuff that we used wouldn't have been developed,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: and so you wouldn't have seen them. So I definitely,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: and they would have been brand new. So I definitely
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: feel like Scrubs would definitely. Yeah, I think it's in
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: today's time.
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: I think a lot of that stuff would have been
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: folded in, you know, I mean, if you look at
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: this show, there's even in this episode there's a there's
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: a payphone joke, and and we had like the first
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: generation BlackBerry, So you're right, all of that social media
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: existence wasn't there, but I feel like it could have
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: been folded in. And it's just also, I think the
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: show is so topical. You know, people are always interested
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: in in in the drama and the camaraderie of a show,
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: of a show like Scrubs, right.
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: Yeah, so those things are kind of like, you know,
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: just accessories to the whole story of it.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: Yeah. I think I think there's a funny joke in
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: JD and Turk trying to go viral with something, you
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: know what I mean, that's probably what they would have
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: tried to do.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: All right, Well, thank you so much, Jacqueline. We're gonna
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: listen to you.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: Is it Jacqueline or is it Jacqueline?
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: Well, I really go by Jackie Jackie.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Okay, Jackie, Jackie gar see.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: You, thank you, thank you, Jackie. We appreciate you. Thank you,
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: thank you so much.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: Yeah, you too, be healthy.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: Bye. You know, at the end of the episode, you
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: pull a switch throu and Rob Mascio gets int.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: The limo and Kelso deserves it and Rob Man deserves
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: a weekend with somebody who's really going to enjoy.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: Now, what do you think happened on that weekend in
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: Mexico with Kelso and the Todd.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: I think the Todd embarrassed the crap out of Kelso.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: Should we ask Rob?
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: Yeah, let's ask Rob. Let's ask Rob, so, Rob, because
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: you know Rob, you know Rob definitely did all your
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: research on his character. You know, he was like to
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: feel good about this. I have to imagine what the
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: scenario is exactly.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: So Rob, here's our question. You know, we know that
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: you were so into every line you did, every moment
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: you did on Scrubs. You would rehearse, you would do
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: your research. So Donald and I have in our heads
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: that you probably did some recon what the character would
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: be doing in Mexico with Kelso.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: So.
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: Could you tell us a little bit about what you
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: and Kelso got up to on your trip to Mexico.
- 1:05:25Speaker 8: The big dogs do not want to kiss and tell,
- 1:05:27Speaker 8: but there already was a no kissing policy in place
- 1:05:30Speaker 8: down there, so it was a nice little trip.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: We knocked out.
- 1:05:33Speaker 8: Some pro bono work, then we squeezed in some bone fishing,
- 1:05:37Speaker 8: some motor boating. Anyway, the Todd will be Doctor K's
- 1:05:40Speaker 8: wingman anytime.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Thank you Rob.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: Thank you Rob. All right, we did it right.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: That's the episode I feel like we did it, dude,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: I mean you feel like we did it? Yeah? I
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: mean I Daniel, do you feel like we did it?
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: Daniel? Do we do it?
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: Do it? Joelle?
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Did we do it?
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: It was awesome? Guys, we did it?
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: Dude. Had a lot of exciting guests coming up. We're
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: gonna have Tom Cavanaugh coming up for Thunders of Ass.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: For Tom Cavanaugh. Doesn't he play a superhero these days?
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: He plays a bunch of characters on the show that
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: he's on. He's on The Flash, which is one of
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: the shows that I do frequent. I do love the show.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: I do love the characters on his show.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a great actor. He's coming on for two
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: oh six, My big brother, and guess what we got
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: Heather Locklear calling me shit, Yeah, I pulled that. Yeah,
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: I did it. I did it. Holy I can make
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: anything happen, don I can make anything happen. Really, yeah,
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: Heather locked for anything, you name it, I can have
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: it done.

- 1:06:59Speaker 2: is is healthy and able and willing. Chay Serrano, everybody's
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: favorite guest, is coming back on for two point fifteen.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: We're gonna try for Ricky Schroeder for two sixteen, right, Joelle,
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: we gotta do that. You and I should talk about that, Okay,
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: Joelle and I booked the guest Donald doesn't.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: Well, I just sing the theme songs. Here we are
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: face to face a.

- 1:07:24Speaker 1: Hoping to fine. We're two of a kind, waiting to grow,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: waiting to show together. We're gonna find our way to
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: do do do together, making a time each day, you'll
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: learn all about the things you just can't fine fine
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: silver spoons together, you and.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: That was awesome. I can't believe you remember all the
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: lyrics to silver spoons.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: I got that one. You know what else? You know
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: what else? I remember what? Nobody remembers this? Maybe the
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: world is blind?
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: Didn't d.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Or just a little and kind?
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: This webster?

- 1:08:50Speaker 9: who turned my world around.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: You don't know, fucking Punky Brewster.
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: I didn't get it. I didn't get it.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: Okay, maybe you know this one. I bet we've been
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: together for a millillion years? What what is that?

- 1:11:20Speaker 2: Listen. No, no it off, turn it off. Dam I
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: want to say. One of the funniest I ever laughed
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: in my whole life is the episode of Family Ties
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: when Michael J. Fox turns the house into a hotel.
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: When the parents Airbnb, he turns air he turns it
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: into Airbnb motel. When the parents are out of the
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: house and there's a big game in town, everyone's filtering
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: in because there's no motel rooms left in town, and
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: they steal the other team's mascot, and so there's a
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: kangaroo that's brought into the living room and they trash
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: the house, and then the parents walk in and Michael
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: gross in one of the best line readings of all.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: Time, cuts to commercial.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: First, that's the commercial, and then Michael Grossy can't talk
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: to Michael J. Fox the whole episode, and he finally
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: finally gets up to talk to him. He goes, you know,
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: his parents. When you go away, you expect it. Certain
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: things will go wrong. A broken dish, spilled milk on
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: the rug, there was a kangaroo in my living room.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: That's like, that's like perfect sitcom writing, dude.
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: That is that is the timing. I'll never forget the timing.
- 1:12:39Speaker 8: It.
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: Maybe you want to be a comedic actor. The timing
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: was just masterful.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: Michael Gross. Also in Tremors People, There you go.
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: It all comes back.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: To tremor, all comes back to tremor.
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: We love you, Stay safe, wear a mask. Donald's count usin.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: Oh No, I did it already and that's your turn out.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: Five six six.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: We made about a bunch of talks and nurses in Canada.
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: May I said, here's the stories next.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: All should know.
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: So gadder round you here, up, Gadder around you here,
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: up specs. We watch your wizard.
- 1:13:20Speaker 7: M h.
