- 2:22Speaker 4: get feeling normal again. Right there Juvenile Medical dot Com.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Hey, Matthew, guess what starts today?
- 2:32Speaker 4: I'm going to say some sort of football what happens
- 2:37Speaker 4: in the spring.
- 2:38Speaker 3: You would be correct, sir, LSU Spring practice starts today morning.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Though it's a nine am practice. Tayler'll just let you
- 2:47Speaker 3: know there so you know, maybe now if this was
- 2:50Speaker 3: a practice from last year, they'd be done by the
- 2:53Speaker 3: time we're done, but maybe maybe we'll get a chance
- 2:57Speaker 3: to go out there one day and see and me
- 2:59Speaker 3: you know, at least maybe the back end of practice.
- 3:01Speaker 3: So excited about that, Excited about this year. And look,
- 3:04Speaker 3: anytime that you have as much new as LSU has,
- 3:07Speaker 3: you're going to be excited. Anytime that you have a
- 3:10Speaker 3: year that didn't go your way and you bring in
- 3:14Speaker 3: something like Alane Kiffin and his coaching staff and all
- 3:18Speaker 3: these new players, like, that's going to be exciting. And
- 3:21Speaker 3: Lane Kiffin obviously was very successful at Old Miss, and
- 3:25Speaker 3: so even when you have a bad season, when you
- 3:27Speaker 3: have a fresh start, it's going to get everybody excited.
- 3:30Speaker 3: And this is as fresh of a fresh start as
- 3:33Speaker 3: you can get right, brand new roster, brand new offensive staff,
- 3:38Speaker 3: and you kept the pieces that everyone liked from the
- 3:43Speaker 3: team that disappointed the defense. You kept those coaches in
- 3:46Speaker 3: place for a large majority of the defensive coaching staff.
- 3:50Speaker 2: So it's going to be exciting times.
- 3:52Speaker 3: It's going to be an off season where you're going
- 3:54Speaker 3: to look forward to the practice reports.
- 3:57Speaker 2: You're going to.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Look forward to seeing all the new guys and the
- 4:00Speaker 3: new gear and all the new coaches with their new
- 4:02Speaker 3: logo on their visor. So it's an exciting time. Now
- 4:06Speaker 3: you're not gonna win any championships in the spring. You're
- 4:08Speaker 3: going to try to build that foundation. You're gonna try
- 4:10Speaker 3: to learn each other, You're gonna try to implement your
- 4:13Speaker 3: new offense. This is not related to what you just did.
- 4:16Speaker 3: These offensive players that are still here from a year ago,
- 4:20Speaker 3: and there's not many of them, there's only literally like
- 4:22Speaker 3: a handful. You've got Braylan Moore, You've got Trade s Green,
- 4:25Speaker 3: you got Weston Davis, Harlan Barry, Caden Durham.
- 4:29Speaker 2: That's about it.
- 4:30Speaker 3: But they're going to find out that this is a
- 4:32Speaker 3: completely different offense. There's going to be a tempo that
- 4:36Speaker 3: they play with that is going to be new to them,
- 4:39Speaker 3: and so like they're going to have a new challenge.
- 4:41Speaker 3: I'm excited to see what that new challenge looks like.
- 4:43Speaker 3: And then for the defense, you do have more pieces
- 4:46Speaker 3: that are back that understand what Blake Baker and his
- 4:49Speaker 3: staff are all about. So it's gonna be a very
- 4:51Speaker 3: interesting spring. I can't wait to get out there see
- 4:54Speaker 3: how competitive it is. I can't wait to see what
- 4:56Speaker 3: the new offense looks like. And I don't really care
- 4:59Speaker 3: like I'm not talking about you know, did they go
- 5:01Speaker 3: seventeen of twenty that day? I just want to see
- 5:03Speaker 3: the tempo. I want to see the schematics of the offense.
- 5:05Speaker 3: I want to see the different variations of what the
- 5:09Speaker 3: run game could look like, the diversity.
- 5:11Speaker 2: In the run game.
- 5:12Speaker 3: So there's things to be excited about, and not just
- 5:15Speaker 3: you know, new faces, new places, but new schemes and
- 5:19Speaker 3: in a new process.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean it's certainly new faces, new places as
- 5:22Speaker 4: the most exciting and intriguing part.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Now we've seen.
- 5:26Speaker 4: We've seen laying on top of parade floats, we've seen
- 5:28Speaker 4: them with Boosy, We've seen.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Them with the Cavender Twins. We've seen them a lot
- 5:33Speaker 2: of places.
- 5:33Speaker 4: But now we get to see them on a football field,
- 5:35Speaker 4: and so that's what we're all excited about.
- 5:37Speaker 2: So how's practice going to be run?
- 5:39Speaker 4: Is very intriguing to me, Like all the New Age
- 5:42Speaker 4: coaches and the New Age.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Practice is a little bit different.
- 5:45Speaker 4: But how is it Like we saw Brian Kelly's practice,
- 5:49Speaker 4: We're not impressed, yeah, with that schedule. So how's it
- 5:52Speaker 4: going to be the spring? I hope we see some
- 5:54Speaker 4: live periods. Certainly it's not going to be first couple
- 5:57Speaker 4: of days or anything like that. But at some point
- 6:00Speaker 4: you gotta callous the whole body up. You got to
- 6:02Speaker 4: get ready to hit like you are in a game.
- 6:05Speaker 4: And so are we going to see that? How's it
- 6:07Speaker 4: going to be? Where are they going to put all
- 6:09Speaker 4: those assistant coaches on the field. It'll be a big field. Well,
- 6:15Speaker 4: I've heard exactly.
- 6:16Speaker 3: I've heard one's got like a cheeriot that they actually
- 6:18Speaker 3: bring him on the practice field on You can probably
- 6:20Speaker 3: guess who it is, Tea.
- 6:21Speaker 2: We'll see it's t I knew it.
- 6:27Speaker 3: That's like if you're like, if you didn't listen last week,
- 6:30Speaker 3: they're probably what the hell are you two talking about,
- 6:33Speaker 3: dumb dumbs. It's gonna be a lot of people that
- 6:37Speaker 3: we got to introduce ourselves to. I'll tell you that,
- 6:39Speaker 3: a lot of Purple Polo at least seventy six.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Well we know some of them.
- 6:43Speaker 4: Yeah, we know a couple of them. What are we
- 6:45Speaker 4: gonna try to get out there? So if we get
- 6:47Speaker 4: out there, if we leave straight from the show, we
- 6:50Speaker 4: could probably I'm hoping we can watch at least thirty minutes.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Oh for sure.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Yeah, you gotta think it's gonna be our forty five
- 6:55Speaker 4: practice at some point.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Yes, we'll be able to get that.
- 6:58Speaker 3: I mean nine am I thinks like special teams, So
- 7:02Speaker 3: we'll get out there.
- 7:03Speaker 4: But that But the Brian Kelly practice, it was an
- 7:05Speaker 4: hour and a half including the including the special games,
- 7:09Speaker 4: and walked through.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Yeah. True, it ain't gonna be that. That was during
- 7:13Speaker 2: the season too, that when they were actually playing games.
- 7:15Speaker 2: That meant something.
- 7:16Speaker 3: That was training camp. And it's supposed to be callous time.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Junction boys supposed to be.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Hard junction boys. Hard to give you callous for a
- 7:26Speaker 2: long season.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Oh god, I'll never I will never forget the coaches
- 7:34Speaker 3: that knew us. They came directly to us because they
- 7:38Speaker 3: knew we were gonna judge.
- 7:39Speaker 2: How quick that practice was. Yeah.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Uh, Kyle Williams walked over to us and we just
- 7:43Speaker 4: looked at him and his head.
- 7:45Speaker 2: I don't know, man, I don't know. I don't know
- 7:48Speaker 2: what to tell you. It's like this every day.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Yeah, bless you, multiple defensive coaches. Oh man, I'll never forget.
- 7:58Speaker 3: My whole view just completely changing after that. Remember what
- 8:02Speaker 3: happened the week after Brian Kelly was fired. They ran
- 8:06Speaker 3: Big Baker requested, can we do like a live short yardage,
- 8:10Speaker 3: we do nine on seven period, We do a nine
- 8:11Speaker 3: on seven period.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Oo saw oof.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Sah, don't get mad all over again.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Yeah, Garrett, that's myer here trying to apologize for that.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Oh poor kid. Anyways, anyways, Uh so, don't go back
- 8:27Speaker 2: to that dark place. I'm not, I am not.
- 8:29Speaker 3: I'm looking straight ahead. And we talked about the things
- 8:32Speaker 3: we were most excited about yesterday. I thought you did
- 8:34Speaker 3: a great job of laying out trade as green. I went,
- 8:37Speaker 3: of course, shocker with the running backs Harlem Berry and
- 8:39Speaker 3: Cayden Durham. But we didn't get a chance to hear
- 8:43Speaker 3: from behind the glasste A Landra because I think we
- 8:48Speaker 3: all sent our station survey into whom palmerow I didn't
- 8:52Speaker 3: send it.
- 8:54Speaker 5: I needs to realize if you were texting me on
- 8:57Speaker 5: a Sunday, I'm not I'm not responding.
- 9:01Speaker 6: Sorry.
- 9:02Speaker 3: The only thing I'll say about that he sends it
- 9:04Speaker 3: to like the same email that I that I couldn't
- 9:06Speaker 3: tell you how to access. So the only time I
- 9:09Speaker 3: ever see that there's a station surveys when he's like, hey, guys,
- 9:11Speaker 3: could you please.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Send it in?
- 9:12Speaker 5: And then I'm not writing a paragraph. I'm sorry why
- 9:16Speaker 5: do you hunt, I'm not writing a paragraph on spring
- 9:18Speaker 5: football on a Sunday.
- 9:19Speaker 2: I did not doing it. I voiced it in the
- 9:21Speaker 2: dugout I was coaching.
- 9:26Speaker 3: All right, well, I'm sure you have something you're excited about, though,
- 9:29Speaker 3: like something you're looking forward to again. I went with
- 9:31Speaker 3: Harlan Barry, Caden Durham. They actually have real running plays.
- 9:33Speaker 3: They have a diversity of running plays. They don't just
- 9:36Speaker 3: run inside zone on a shotgun. That's exciting to me.
- 9:39Speaker 3: That's that's two players that I think are going to
- 9:42Speaker 3: thrive in this new scheme, in this new system.
- 9:45Speaker 2: I truly do so.
- 9:46Speaker 3: That's where I was at Taylor. Where are you at
- 9:48Speaker 3: is Landra make sure that she's got her.
- 9:53Speaker 7: I went receiver because I mentioned like you added what
- 9:57Speaker 7: fifteen receivers? I mean, I know we joked about it
- 9:59Speaker 7: all obviously, but literally the only guy returning to that
- 10:03Speaker 7: room from a year ago is Philip Wright, and he
- 10:05Speaker 7: didn't get on the field at all. He red showed
- 10:06Speaker 7: it last year. So you bring in a lot of guys,
- 10:09Speaker 7: a lot of talent. I mean, Jace Brown, big time name,
- 10:13Speaker 7: had a lot of success at Kansas State. Jackson Harris
- 10:15Speaker 7: did really good things at Hawaii. But all of them
- 10:18Speaker 7: are first year players at LSU and under Lane Kiffin system.
- 10:22Speaker 7: So what I'm looking forward with them is not even
- 10:24Speaker 7: necessarily the talent in that room. Like we know who's talented.
- 10:27Speaker 7: We know Winston Watkins, we know all these guys, Trey Wilson.
- 10:30Speaker 7: I want to see who gets the first crack at it.
- 10:32Speaker 7: I mean, I think Jason Brown is going to be
- 10:34Speaker 7: somewhere in that group. But how the early rotation in
- 10:37Speaker 7: spring looks at that wide receiver room, because they're gonna
- 10:40Speaker 7: be constantly rotating, like they're gonna rotate ten to fifteen
- 10:42Speaker 7: guys in there. But who gets first crack at the
- 10:45Speaker 7: receiver spot? I'll keep an eye on that.
- 10:49Speaker 5: I guess just how the seventy six staff members are
- 10:53Speaker 5: I'm just kidding, but how are seventy six people are
- 10:58Speaker 5: going to work together to gets a coach?
- 11:00Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 11:01Speaker 5: I guess just this is so general, but there's literally
- 11:06Speaker 5: a whole new regime in place besides Blake Baker. Like
- 11:10Speaker 5: we already know what the defense is gonna be. The
- 11:12Speaker 5: offense was so terrible last season that it was unwatchable.
- 11:16Speaker 5: So I guess I'm just curious to see, like can
- 11:20Speaker 5: Lane Kiffin implement And I think he can implement what
- 11:24Speaker 5: he had at Ole Miss here at LSU and just
- 11:27Speaker 5: the season as a whole.
- 11:28Speaker 6: There's nothing specific. I guess Sam Levitt, I don't know.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Sam Levitt will be throwing. I mean he'll be doing
- 11:36Speaker 2: seven seven different things.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Yeah, so I know initially remember a lot of people
- 11:39Speaker 3: thought he wouldn't even be out there. So yeah, certainly
- 11:42Speaker 3: he's gonna have a lot of eyeballs on him and Matt.
- 11:44Speaker 3: You talked about the quarterbacks yesterday. It's gonna be a
- 11:47Speaker 3: completely new offensive line, completely new. I mean, you're gonna
- 11:51Speaker 3: have outside of Braylan Moore, who we mentioned already. And
- 11:54Speaker 3: I don't you know Wes and Davis's gonna twite for
- 11:56Speaker 3: his job. I don't things I should like. I don't
- 12:01Speaker 3: think Western Davis right now is just like solidified as
- 12:05Speaker 3: a starting right time.
- 12:06Speaker 7: I mean, if I had to put a starting five together,
- 12:07Speaker 7: I don't know if he'd be in it. Just taking
- 12:10Speaker 7: a guess.
- 12:11Speaker 2: I want it to be so damn competitive out there.
- 12:14Speaker 4: I'm walking into spring practice, but nobody has a starting job.
- 12:17Speaker 4: I think I think offensive, I think I think trade
- 12:19Speaker 4: as green. Okay, I'm just giving you example. I think
- 12:23Speaker 4: Trade as Green, Wit Weeks, DJ Pickett, I think your
- 12:32Speaker 4: running backs are going to be playing if you do.
- 12:35Speaker 3: But like outside of that, because those guys can come on.
- 12:38Speaker 3: They know outside of that, that's gonna be. That would
- 12:41Speaker 3: be my message. Hey guys, we're all new here, Bud.
- 12:43Speaker 3: We don't know you, yeah, like we might have played
- 12:45Speaker 3: against some of y'all last year, but we don't know you,
- 12:48Speaker 3: like I know, we know Wit Weeks and DJ Pickett
- 12:51Speaker 3: and we know Trade as Green, like we know those guys,
- 12:54Speaker 3: like even if you're lying to them, because I think
- 12:56Speaker 3: Tomarcus Cooley is a really good player.
- 12:57Speaker 2: I think PJ. Willen is a good player. I think
- 12:59Speaker 2: Deshaun Spring is a good play.
- 13:00Speaker 3: But you lie to him guys outside of a couple
- 13:02Speaker 3: guys here and you don't even name the guys, obviously
- 13:05Speaker 3: everything's open, every single thing. You got to go earn
- 13:09Speaker 3: it because I don't know you, you don't know me,
- 13:11Speaker 3: And we're going to learn each other in these fifteen
- 13:13Speaker 3: practices and we're gonna see who wants to be here.
- 13:16Speaker 3: We're gonna see who can keep up with what we
- 13:18Speaker 3: want to get done. And if you started last year
- 13:20Speaker 3: and you're not starting this year. That's your fault. That's
- 13:22Speaker 3: on you because you got to.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Go earn it.
- 13:24Speaker 4: And the message from the assistant coaches. It won't be
- 13:28Speaker 4: from Lane because obviously this would be a lie. But
- 13:31Speaker 4: like what Blake Baker said on this show, we asked
- 13:34Speaker 4: him about, like how much does the contracts and the
- 13:37Speaker 4: payment influence? He say, I try not to hear or
- 13:40Speaker 4: know what anybody makes, so it doesn't. So if I'm
- 13:43Speaker 4: a coach standing in front of a room full of
- 13:46Speaker 4: my defense or all our offense guys, as a coordinator,
- 13:49Speaker 4: I'm like, look, the best guys are going to play.
- 13:52Speaker 2: I do not know how much you make, So that's
- 13:54Speaker 2: not going to be the decision.
- 13:55Speaker 8: Now.
- 13:55Speaker 4: Lane can't say that because he's part of those negotiations
- 13:57Speaker 4: early on, right, Like, as assistant coach, it is, I'm
- 14:01Speaker 4: making this decision on the best damn players at each position.
- 14:05Speaker 4: It's not gonna be based on based on how much
- 14:08Speaker 4: money you've made because I don't know, right I recruited.
- 14:11Speaker 4: You see other people that handled it. The people that
- 14:13Speaker 4: handled the money don't make the decisions on playing time.
- 14:16Speaker 5: I do.
- 14:17Speaker 4: So you light a fire under their ass right now,
- 14:20Speaker 4: heading in the spring going into the first day, and
- 14:22Speaker 4: I can only imagine that those are some of the
- 14:24Speaker 4: things that we said yesterday in their pre meetings before
- 14:27Speaker 4: we all get get started today. In this way, it
- 14:31Speaker 4: should be right absolutely. Now the big boy paychecks the
- 14:38Speaker 4: same levits gonna he gonna play, Yeah, he gonna play.
- 14:46Speaker 4: It's gonna be some dad. Yes, that's the obvious. But
- 14:48Speaker 4: if you go in the mindset and you give that message, No.
- 14:53Speaker 5: I think there's other there's like not quarterback, but I
- 14:56Speaker 5: think there's some spots that are definitely up for grabs.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Oh I think, yeah, sure, Like Taylor mentioned receiver and receiver,
- 15:01Speaker 3: I think offensive line.
- 15:04Speaker 7: I think the entire D line. Yeah, yeah, I mean,
- 15:08Speaker 7: because I get it. Dominic McKinley's returning. I need to
- 15:12Speaker 7: see Yeah, I still need to see a little bit
- 15:13Speaker 7: more from Dominic McKinley.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:15Speaker 7: All those edge rushers you brought in last year that
- 15:17Speaker 7: didn't really pan out the way you thought they're.
- 15:19Speaker 2: All gone, and really they had three secs total.
- 15:22Speaker 7: And they're and they're all gone. Anyway, they were nice.
- 15:28Speaker 3: They never got one in college bell could you count
- 15:31Speaker 3: me hitting the punter against Arizona State before he kicked
- 15:35Speaker 3: the ball and it fumbled.
- 15:37Speaker 2: What would that count as mm TfL because I tackled
- 15:42Speaker 2: him as he was going to punt the ball. He
- 15:44Speaker 2: had not kicked it yet. I don't know you ever
- 15:47Speaker 2: looked at the stats. What let's go do it?
- 15:49Speaker 8: Do you?
- 15:49Speaker 2: If you got a sack sack?
- 15:52Speaker 8: You know?
- 15:52Speaker 3: I could have had an interception, and it's my fault
- 15:54Speaker 3: that I didn't. We were on punt return playing against
- 15:57Speaker 3: Old Miss. They had this busted face and I saw it.
- 16:01Speaker 3: I knew it, and I'm like, guys, they're gonna the
- 16:03Speaker 3: punter is going to pull up and he's going to
- 16:06Speaker 3: throw like a little screen to the wing, all right,
- 16:08Speaker 3: So I drop out and sure enough, boom. And I
- 16:13Speaker 3: easily could have just jumped it, caught it gone the
- 16:17Speaker 3: other way. How awesome would that have been? But I

- 20:18Speaker 2: Highest?
- 20:18Speaker 7: Not very high, no idea like like one eighty one,
- 20:22Speaker 7: seventy five, Maybe it's not, it's not very high.
- 20:25Speaker 4: I hit two hundred once. I don't remember exactly how high.
- 20:30Speaker 4: It's been a while since that bowl, but we used
- 20:32Speaker 4: to go bow shocker. We bowled in Green Bay quite
- 20:34Speaker 4: a bit there there. I mean there's a lot to do, okay,
- 20:38Speaker 4: but it's all similar inside.
- 20:42Speaker 6: It's all arcades that it's like there's a lot to do.
- 20:44Speaker 2: There's five bowling out. Yeah, I got the two hundred once.
- 20:52Speaker 2: It was good. It was a good round.
- 20:54Speaker 6: I have no idea.
- 20:56Speaker 3: I got to get the biggest ball, the heaviest one,
- 20:58Speaker 3: because these meekly as I got. Do you even try
- 21:01Speaker 3: to find one with the whole the ill get the
- 21:04Speaker 3: biggest one, the biggest one I can. I can sort
- 21:07Speaker 3: of so probably like one eighty five, though not not crazy.
- 21:12Speaker 5: Yeah, I haven't bowled in a while and so like
- 21:16Speaker 5: I don't remember the scores from when I was a kid.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Do you'all try to spin it?
- 21:21Speaker 6: You'all try to I just try to not put it
- 21:23Speaker 6: in the gutter.
- 21:24Speaker 7: We have similar strategies.
- 21:25Speaker 6: Yeah, oh wait, I'm lying. I don't remember what my
- 21:28Speaker 6: score was.
- 21:29Speaker 5: But I just did the celebrity bowling thing last year
- 21:32Speaker 5: at the Raising Canes River Center.
- 21:36Speaker 6: But I don't remember what my score was, No big deal.
- 21:39Speaker 6: I did have what do they call it? Turkey?
- 21:43Speaker 2: Yeah, gobble gobble?
- 21:44Speaker 8: Is that right?
- 21:45Speaker 2: All right?
- 21:45Speaker 6: Oh no, I didn't do that. What do they call it?
- 21:48Speaker 5: Oh?
- 21:48Speaker 6: No, split?
- 21:49Speaker 2: I did that split the seven tenths? But sure, I
- 21:56Speaker 2: think it's.
- 21:58Speaker 7: How we don't know how to spin the ball. Oh,
- 22:00Speaker 7: we're not gonna know what a seven tens plays?
- 22:01Speaker 3: Very true, I mean hashtag a turkey term was hashtag
- 22:07Speaker 3: hashtag Ask the mail bag, how many steaks does Matt
- 22:15Speaker 3: get out of chopping the ribbi rose.
- 22:18Speaker 4: That's a good question, kind of obviously it's going to
- 22:20Speaker 4: depend on the size of the ribbi rose, but I'm
- 22:22Speaker 4: probably getting I don't know. I can't even remember twelve
- 22:26Speaker 4: to fourteen, fifteen something like them. Decent amount and it's
- 22:32Speaker 4: not just like any cut of beef. It's it's the
- 22:35Speaker 4: good stuff.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Hashtag o TV again, it's you go to kind of
- 22:40Speaker 3: rapid fire here hashtag OTB mail bag. Did you see
- 22:43Speaker 3: the President visiting Graceland yesterday during his Memphis trip? Jake
- 22:46Speaker 3: won't see this because he's not on all messages. Actually,
- 22:49Speaker 3: I am on live chat today, Boom. Not that big
- 22:52Speaker 3: of a deal. I did not see that.
- 22:55Speaker 2: I did not see that. I need to go to Graceland.
- 22:56Speaker 3: It's been too long since I've been to Graceland, and
- 22:58Speaker 3: I need to take Memphis to grey Slam in Memphis.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Sure love it well, I thought I found it very
- 23:06Speaker 2: interesting as the kids. I've been eight times, eight times
- 23:11Speaker 2: is crazy. I love it.
- 23:16Speaker 5: I've never been to Graceland, you know what, I don't
- 23:18Speaker 5: think I've ever been to Memphis.
- 23:19Speaker 2: And I'll probably go nine and I'll probably go ten.
- 23:22Speaker 2: I mean, what is there to do?
- 23:24Speaker 3: You go visit the house and every like they open
- 23:26Speaker 3: up new spaces, like the parts of it that sometimes
- 23:28Speaker 3: are closed, and so you get to see new parts
- 23:30Speaker 3: of it. You get to go on his personal airplane,
- 23:32Speaker 3: you get to see his personal collection of cars.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Bathroom, I'm not supposed the bathroom. The bathroom.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Look if you think you're the first person to ever
- 23:42Speaker 3: use that on me, and it's going to be effective.
- 23:44Speaker 7: It's not Look I've never been I do want to
- 23:46Speaker 7: go there behis and went close to it. We just
- 23:50Speaker 7: didn't have time to stop.
- 23:51Speaker 3: I've enjoyed it every time, and so it's I feel like, well,
- 23:56Speaker 3: I mean I was a child, so it's not like
- 23:57Speaker 3: I picked it. But like if we were going to
- 23:59Speaker 3: like opry Land, like we would stop in Graceland. It's
- 24:03Speaker 3: like we went like specifically, but we played Old miss
- 24:06Speaker 3: a couple of years ago, men like twenty, I don't know, seventeen,
- 24:10Speaker 3: I don't know whatever, nineteen maybe, and the radio staff
- 24:15Speaker 3: and the team stayed in like all of Branch, Mississippi.
- 24:18Speaker 3: And I said, I'm not doing that, so I stayed
- 24:21Speaker 3: in Graceland. Sure, so I went by myself and then
- 24:25Speaker 3: met them in Oxford, Mississippi.
- 24:27Speaker 2: So these rapid fire questions list, it's about Graceland looking
- 24:36Speaker 2: forward to the ninth? Does it? You had many times?
- 24:40Speaker 2: So while are you looking for the ninth?
- 24:44Speaker 8: Sure?
- 24:44Speaker 3: There opening up a closet you've never seen, and I'll
- 24:48Speaker 3: be excited to see it. Anything else else, Hasha, I
- 25:01Speaker 3: go to the mail bag. Would you eat a ground
- 25:03Speaker 3: goat meat burger?
- 25:04Speaker 5: Yeah, burgers I've eaten goat before, so.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Probably look, I'll eat anything doesn't eat me first, or yeah,
- 25:11Speaker 3: I do not like goat.
- 25:12Speaker 2: I don't like lamb, and I don't like goat like Lamb.
- 25:15Speaker 2: I don't and it's and it's weird. I want to
- 25:18Speaker 2: like it. I don't like gamy stuff. You don't. I
- 25:20Speaker 2: don't like the gamey flavor.
- 25:23Speaker 4: Something like like Mallard brass is not gamey to me,
- 25:26Speaker 4: like I don't just for whatever reason, except for Yerro,
- 25:31Speaker 4: you the only one that doesn't have that gamy taste it.
- 25:34Speaker 7: When uh, when we went up to Yellowstone up in Montana,
- 25:37Speaker 7: a lot of them do. Like basically every place is
- 25:40Speaker 7: like just buy some burger that's and it was good.
- 25:43Speaker 7: It was it went ground me though it wouldn't. It
- 25:46Speaker 7: wasn't cow, and there's.
- 25:47Speaker 4: Some ground me like when ground me like if the
- 25:49Speaker 4: cow gets older, like some of the grass fed stuff's
- 25:51Speaker 4: got that gamy flavor to it.
- 25:52Speaker 2: I don't love.
- 25:53Speaker 4: And it's weird because I want to like Lamb because
- 25:55Speaker 4: like if I go to a restaurant something, somebody gets it,
- 25:57Speaker 4: it looks great and I've tried it like an or times.
- 26:00Speaker 4: I just can't get past that that flavor. I know
- 26:05Speaker 4: that's an unpopular opinion. I got it, and I just,
- 26:08Speaker 4: you know, want to be better.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Just can't.
- 26:13Speaker 4: I like goat cheese Either'm all cow's milk. Same situation
- 26:20Speaker 4: gave me flavor.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Hashtag go to b Mill Bay. Getting older, you notice
- 26:24Speaker 3: birds are awesome? What's your favorite bird? I don't know, Flynn,
- 26:27Speaker 3: You've been watching birds for a long time.
- 26:28Speaker 4: What's your favorite birds? Awesome for a long time? A
- 26:31Speaker 4: cardinal appelliated wordpecker, cardinal. I'm like, my god, that's a cardinal.
- 26:37Speaker 6: Yeah. I'm like, there's my grandpa.
- 26:39Speaker 7: Like a blue jay, blue jay school.
- 26:41Speaker 5: Blue J's are cool, a little more common than the cardinal.
- 26:45Speaker 6: I feel like, I say blue jays more.
- 26:47Speaker 7: Yeah, cardinal pop uncons I just gave that answer because
- 26:50Speaker 7: you'll took cardinal guys.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Okay, I'm poppy opinion. I hate a mocking bird.
- 26:55Speaker 4: Why they're the worst, and they're the state bird of
- 26:57Speaker 4: Texas too, because they're annoying, they sing a lot, and
- 27:01Speaker 4: they run off a lot.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Of the pretty birds are adorable, incredible.
- 27:08Speaker 7: Look where we're.

- 27:26Speaker 2: this app it's called Merlin HD. I believe so.
- 27:30Speaker 4: I think some kids and some students. I think it
- 27:33Speaker 4: was Harvard, one of the Ivy League schools. It's called
- 27:36Speaker 4: Merlin Bird. I D you turn it on. It's got
- 27:39Speaker 4: like the old chazam. Yeah, like where it can? You
- 27:43Speaker 4: just put it on and it takes all the bird
- 27:45Speaker 4: sounds and it tells you exactly what type of bird
- 27:47Speaker 4: it is. It's incredible. Yeah, we'll sit there in the backyard.
- 27:50Speaker 4: We got a lot of birds. No bird feeders. I'm
- 27:53Speaker 4: not a bird feeder guy yet, not to say it
- 27:55Speaker 4: wouldn't be. I'm not against it, and I probably should
- 27:58Speaker 4: get some.
- 27:58Speaker 5: My mom has a bunch of bird feeders in the
- 28:00Speaker 5: backyard and she has like the humming bird, like you
- 28:03Speaker 5: know how you put that red stuff in the what
- 28:06Speaker 5: is it the red stuff that you put for the humber, Yeah,
- 28:09Speaker 5: sugar water. Because she wants to try because one of
- 28:12Speaker 5: their dogs loves birds, so they attract the birds and
- 28:17Speaker 5: then they let the dog outside and she just like
- 28:20Speaker 5: plays with the birds.
- 28:21Speaker 4: Oh I yes, you got a woodpecker bleated woodpecker nests
- 28:25Speaker 4: in your backyard, Purple Martin, good answer, barns are sweet.
- 28:29Speaker 6: Okay.
- 28:29Speaker 5: I guess I've never like come across a mocking bird
- 28:31Speaker 5: to be like, oh, I don't like these.
- 28:33Speaker 2: So we used to have bird feeders grown up.
- 28:36Speaker 4: Yeah, and we'd have like these, like these little wrens
- 28:38Speaker 4: and like these little pretty birds that come out of
- 28:40Speaker 4: the mocking birds territorial.
- 28:43Speaker 2: They would just go and chase them off.
- 28:44Speaker 6: Really yep, that's rude.
- 28:46Speaker 2: So sometimes I had to delete a few, delete, delete.
- 28:56Speaker 6: Control all delete.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Forced the quip.
- 29:01Speaker 3: We were all kinds of different birds in our backyard
- 29:03Speaker 3: with kind of pond lake.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Get that.
- 29:06Speaker 4: You should get that app. It's actually pretty cool even
- 29:08Speaker 4: for people that birds. Yeah, I mean you'll see a pelican.
- 29:12Speaker 5: I love it and identifying to get some food, like

- 29:21Speaker 2: what it is. Yeah, you know, like and and I'm
- 29:24Speaker 2: reading the chip the chat here. A lot of birds
- 29:28Speaker 2: are a holes. Like if you think of like mocking birds,
- 29:33Speaker 2: most remember you like most of them? Yeah, yeah, okay,
- 29:37Speaker 2: I see that any shape.

- 30:16Speaker 8: What a bird?
- 30:17Speaker 6: Yeah, I love an owl. That's a great point.
- 30:19Speaker 7: Awel flew into my mom's car when I was younger,
- 30:22Speaker 7: made a heck of a mess.
- 30:26Speaker 2: It's not great. A lot of feathers on those things.
- 30:32Speaker 4: That was not rapid fire with the bird either of there, Buddy,
- 30:35Speaker 4: to delete a mocking bird.
- 30:39Speaker 3: Oh, so we were talking about coyotes obviously walks while
- 30:44Speaker 3: we're howling. Did you see the tweet that Alyssa Lane
- 30:48Speaker 3: put out. Oh, you send it to the group because
- 30:51Speaker 3: we were talking about coyotes on the show, and that
- 30:54Speaker 3: she covered the n ca A tournament for LSU Women's
- 30:57Speaker 3: basketball and she was trying to get out of bat room,
- 31:00Speaker 3: and the pilot came across the speakers and said, I'm sorry,
- 31:03Speaker 3: we can't leave right now.
- 31:05Speaker 2: There's a coyote on the runway. Like, what is that
- 31:09Speaker 2: the missing coyote from Flynn's house.
- 31:11Speaker 4: Yeah, most most airports have delays because the TSA agents.
- 31:15Speaker 6: Yeah, because we summoned them.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Is it just like sitting there? Does they have an
- 31:21Speaker 2: arrow with.
- 31:21Speaker 6: Him asking for a friend? Is this Harry a little burg?
- 31:26Speaker 2: Does it have an it's a random question, generic, Yeah,
- 31:30Speaker 2: you think about it. Yeah, I can't.
- 31:31Speaker 3: I don't know that that's ever been used before. The
- 31:34Speaker 3: old coyote on the runway.
- 31:37Speaker 7: For sure, But that's the oldest one in the book.
- 31:40Speaker 2: I've heard that that is one that's like out there
- 31:43Speaker 2: enough where it feels like.
- 31:44Speaker 7: You're everybody's gonna believe it.
- 31:45Speaker 2: Yeah, those are pilot speaking. Uh, there is a coyote
- 31:52Speaker 2: in the runway.

- 32:42Speaker 3: birds there and graceland and gracelank closets.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Mhm. Racketball room is really cool.
- 32:52Speaker 3: It's got like all the awards and jumpsuits because you know,
- 32:56Speaker 3: nobody's playing racketball in there anymore, so where they put them,
- 32:59Speaker 3: it's pretty cool.
- 33:00Speaker 2: The pink Cadillac's real cool.
- 33:01Speaker 6: How much do you think one of his jumpsuits go for?
- 33:04Speaker 2: Oh that's a good questions question. Fifty bucks? But we
- 33:10Speaker 2: have one in this studio. I promise you.
- 33:13Speaker 3: Right's do some research, do some search and we'll see.
- 33:17Speaker 2: I would love to do some search. I don't know.
- 33:21Speaker 2: It's fun. Is that how it's going to be the
- 33:25Speaker 2: rest of it? No, no, no, it's like it's something.
- 33:27Speaker 2: It's so something I would say. So it just made
- 33:29Speaker 2: me laugh. Yeah, sorry, takes one another one.
- 33:33Speaker 6: We'll do a search.

- 33:42Speaker 2: we come back here, I know TV.
- 33:46Speaker 3: The bench, all right, Uh, it's March and we've been
- 33:50Speaker 3: telling you about it throughout the month. Pelican Roofing is

- 34:01Speaker 3: incredible deal that they do. And you know we talked
- 34:05Speaker 3: about the family and what's going on right now. Remember
- 34:08Speaker 3: this year is dedicated to an incredible eleven year old
- 34:11Speaker 3: in the local community, Joel Moskovs, and last August, Joel's
- 34:16Speaker 3: life was tragically changed forever by a gunshot from behind.
- 34:20Speaker 3: The bullet hit the C two level of his final cord,

- 35:05Speaker 1: Where you come from off the bench with Jacob Hester
- 35:09Speaker 1: and Matt Flinn. Tuesday Show presented by Community Steel, jugab Love.
- 35:18Speaker 8: Don't you know?
- 35:20Speaker 9: Here's the tie the single.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Take it to the max, you.

- 35:50Speaker 3: King Studio. Always remember our friends over Tommy's Windows, doors
- 35:54Speaker 3: and siding. Go Tommies dot com, G E A U
- 35:57Speaker 3: X Tommy's with the y dot com. When you go
- 36:00Speaker 3: to go Tommy's dot com, you will clearly see the difference.
- 36:02Speaker 3: They got testimonials of past clients, They've got a gallery
- 36:05Speaker 3: of work right there on the homepage, and so they've
- 36:08Speaker 3: got everything at your fingertips. And Tommy and the team
- 36:10Speaker 3: are going to be incredible to work with. Customer service
- 36:13Speaker 3: is something that sets them apart, and they are the
- 36:15Speaker 3: best windows in bad Rouge.
- 36:17Speaker 2: That's not us telling you that, that is the advocate
- 36:19Speaker 2: telling you that. And so go to go Tommy's dot com.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Who is this guy? I've been so focused, I really have,
- 36:35Speaker 2: Are you okay?
- 36:36Speaker 6: Concerned?
- 36:40Speaker 2: Just sometimes I so concentrated my job.
- 36:45Speaker 7: Research I couldn't tell one would say the yo, Tommy
- 36:48Speaker 7: is a part of your job.
- 36:51Speaker 6: You made that, You did it to yourself.
- 36:54Speaker 7: That's your role.
- 36:55Speaker 4: That's sometimes when it's the floater. Then I did just
- 37:04Speaker 4: trying to hydrate the world people.
- 37:07Speaker 6: I did some search on the Elvis jumpsuit.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Oh what does it look like?
- 37:11Speaker 6: So the most that it sold for.
- 37:15Speaker 5: In nineteen seventy two, Oh wow, The Madison Square garden
- 37:20Speaker 5: islet suit sold for a record one million, twelve thousand,
- 37:25Speaker 5: five hundred dollars. The Peacock jumpsuit sold for three hundred
- 37:29Speaker 5: thousand dollars in two thousand and eight, and the blue
- 37:33Speaker 5: Armadillo jumpsuit sold for two hundred and fifty thousand dollars. So,
- 37:38Speaker 5: since the value has risen by over fifty percent in
- 37:41Speaker 5: the past ten years, it's estimated to now be between
- 37:44Speaker 5: one point five and two million dollars.
- 37:47Speaker 2: Just outside the budget something seventy eight.
- 37:51Speaker 5: In nineteen seventy two, it sold for a record one
- 37:54Speaker 5: point twelve million. Okay, got it, we got to make
- 37:59Speaker 5: so how many go fun?
- 38:01Speaker 4: One million dollars in nineteen seventy two is equivalent to
- 38:05Speaker 4: the purchasing power of approximately seven point eight million dollars today.
- 38:09Speaker 6: That's crazy. I wonder who bought it.
- 38:12Speaker 2: Just outside the budget? Hey, I had a budget. I
- 38:15Speaker 2: gotta say he was pretty hot though. Seventy two. Yeah,
- 38:19Speaker 2: it was five years passed away.
- 38:20Speaker 7: We threw out. We threw out at least fifty bucks.
- 38:23Speaker 2: So nailed that one. Yeah, yeah, pretty close. Think about it.
- 38:28Speaker 4: What's the official stat Okay? The official stat line according
- 38:32Speaker 4: to LSU sports dot Net. Okay, so I would say
- 38:36Speaker 4: as as ficial as we're gonna find, only we can
- 38:38Speaker 4: get date back, get back into the NCAA. Yeah, yeah,
- 38:42Speaker 4: files here. So in two thousand and five, yeah, I
- 38:46Speaker 4: got Jacob Pester tackled the punter which led to a fumble.
- 38:51Speaker 4: Let's lead to a touchdown? Yep, its state. Okay, this
- 38:54Speaker 4: is post Katrina big moment. We're supposed to play baton rage.
- 38:57Speaker 4: We flew out Arizona. We played there, trying to galvanize
- 39:01Speaker 4: a state in the time of need.
- 39:04Speaker 2: Jacob Paster tackles the guy. So we were wondering is
- 39:06Speaker 2: that a sack.
- 39:08Speaker 4: It's a tackle for a loss. He could he could
- 39:11Speaker 4: throw the ball. And there's some debate. I saw people
- 39:13Speaker 4: debating this on Reddit. Okay, well, how do you know
- 39:16Speaker 4: if like if if you tackle the punter, it's technically
- 39:18Speaker 4: supposed to be a tackle for a loss? Well, do
- 39:20Speaker 4: you know if he hadn't putted it, if he's gonna
- 39:21Speaker 4: throw it, if he's gonna kick it. Same with a
- 39:25Speaker 4: If you put Tom Brady at punter and you tackle him,
- 39:29Speaker 4: what's he gonna like? Is it a tackle for a loss?
- 39:31Speaker 8: Well?
- 39:31Speaker 4: I guess technically yes. What if a quarterback is trying
- 39:33Speaker 4: to quick kick it and you tackle him, like you
- 39:36Speaker 4: never really know? Well, we're getting into the debate now
- 39:43Speaker 4: because Jacob, you had one block in the stats.
- 39:46Speaker 6: Not as exciting as just a block, pun.
- 39:50Speaker 2: So sorry you couldn't have done me a solid.
- 39:55Speaker 7: Come on, tod.
- 39:57Speaker 2: TfL nothing sacks, nothing mean tackles. That's probably just no
- 40:05Speaker 2: no tackle. I had a ton of tackles that year. No,
- 40:08Speaker 2: this is just from that one game. This is the
- 40:10Speaker 2: Arizona State l s ut stashed one block. That's stupid. Sorry, buddy.
- 40:17Speaker 3: How you know that punter didn't have a piss missile?
- 40:19Speaker 3: Sucks the suck, dude, he could have been ready to
- 40:22Speaker 3: throw that thing downfield. You know what I'm saying.
- 40:24Speaker 2: But there you go here it is. Oh, well he
- 40:28Speaker 2: was the ball left his hand. That's a block punt.
- 40:32Speaker 3: They just hadn't come off, hadn't touched his foot though,
- 40:36Speaker 3: But how do you know he wasn't gonna catch it
- 40:39Speaker 3: again and throw it.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Why is it so blurry.
- 40:42Speaker 6: Because it was a long time ago.
- 40:45Speaker 2: We don't need that.
- 40:48Speaker 7: Trying to find this highlight. Y'all had a block fuel
- 40:51Speaker 7: goal returned for a touchdown too, But when the last time.
- 40:57Speaker 2: Rotten had the block, Mario Stevenson picked it up. So
- 41:01Speaker 2: that's a tough one. I don't know if there's and
- 41:03Speaker 2: we still had to have a miracle play on fourth
- 41:04Speaker 2: downs early.
- 41:05Speaker 7: Here's the here's the blockfield goal.
- 41:10Speaker 2: Got Claude rot right right into the break.
- 41:15Speaker 7: But like the odds of both of those happened and
- 41:17Speaker 7: in the same game.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Yeah, and then yeah, I mean in a miracle, incredible play.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Bunch of Marcus.
- 41:25Speaker 4: Yeah, and that guy who didn't have review booth review
- 41:28Speaker 4: at the time, were not one hundred percent sure it
- 41:30Speaker 4: was caught clean, but it was Go Texas Tekas went
- 41:35Speaker 4: twenty two years ago, twenty one years ago.
- 41:42Speaker 2: Man definitely could left that last part out of there too.
- 41:46Speaker 4: Anyway, you only have a block punt, so you stink. Yeah,
- 41:52Speaker 4: Tricky wanted to score though about the score was like
- 41:55Speaker 4: m left his hand on the way to the foot.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Yeah, it'd rev that baby up. Yeah. That was like
- 42:00Speaker 2: the first iteration of the shield fund that everybody does.
- 42:04Speaker 2: And they didn't really know what a throw right there
- 42:09Speaker 2: he's in, but he might have been like trying to
- 42:14Speaker 2: situation six. That was the less Miles Madonna, Mike, Oh
- 42:22Speaker 2: my god, that thing the Britney spears mic on.
- 42:27Speaker 3: He didn't have the headset U and he had to
- 42:30Speaker 3: keep putting his finger in his ear because he couldn't hear.
- 42:32Speaker 4: Who was his Who was Miles assistant Mac Butler, Mac
- 42:35Speaker 4: Butler's I hate Matt.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Matt.

- 42:54Speaker 2: mh good times. All right, four percent of the people listen,
