LexTran’s bus routes are getting a major overhaul July 3rd–4th to handle Fourth of July chaos downtown—concerts, races, parades, and fireworks mean detours, reroutes, and schedule changes you can’t miss. Friday’s concert at Transylvania kicks off reroutes for routes 4 and 41 starting 3 p.m. Saturday? Expect Sunday service levels with extended hours: early morning detours for the Bluegrass 10-K, skipped stops for routes 1–13, and major shifts for routes 2, 4, 6, and 7 midday.
