- 0:21Speaker 2: are you feeling?
- 0:22Speaker 3: Mogy better than use today?
- 0:24Speaker 4: You have a good sleep last night?
- 0:25Speaker 3: No wake up at three?
- 0:27Speaker 1: Do?
- 0:27Speaker 3: We're not talking about this now? You went there, you
- 0:29Speaker 3: dragg and you're hangover us out. Yeah. I wake up
- 0:32Speaker 3: at about three three thirty and then I was just
- 0:35Speaker 3: going to get up because I was so wide awake.
- 0:36Speaker 3: And then I managed to go back to sleep about
- 0:38Speaker 3: five for an hour and a half, right, and then
- 0:40Speaker 3: I woke up feeling miles worse than when I went
- 0:42Speaker 3: You know, you know how that happens, feelers, And that's
- 0:47Speaker 3: my sleep story. Man, you missed out on that one
- 0:49Speaker 3: this morning when I was telling it that he retold them. Man,
- 0:52Speaker 3: I like hearing it the pugs as you should hear mine.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Oh you have heard it actually, because he dies that
- 0:57Speaker 3: twice in the space in three minutes.
- 0:59Speaker 5: Yeah, I did it and hotel while you were drinking
- 1:01Speaker 5: you were hung over us out. And then I did
- 1:02Speaker 5: it again in the car.
- 1:03Speaker 4: Can I just say I was three minutes late, and
- 1:04Speaker 4: I apologize.
- 1:05Speaker 3: I didn't notice it just did because the plane was
- 1:08Speaker 3: twenty minutes late. Yeah.
- 1:09Speaker 4: At the end of all, right, ye fucking oath.
- 1:11Speaker 2: But I this morning, I woke up at three o'clock
- 1:16Speaker 2: and I said this earlier, but the worst d horrors
- 1:19Speaker 2: I think I've ever had, right, Like, it was like.
- 1:21Speaker 3: I have to say, there's something about that because they
- 1:25Speaker 3: have the old school radiator heaters in there, yeah, which
- 1:28Speaker 3: was nice and warm. It was nice and warm, but
- 1:32Speaker 3: it cooked. Your hotels fucking sucks some of them with
- 1:37Speaker 3: the air con and all that. I would say most
- 1:39Speaker 3: of them. It's pretty rare for me to get a
- 1:40Speaker 3: good night's sweep because I'll wake up gasping. Yeah.
- 1:44Speaker 2: The aar con dries you out, drives you out, and
- 1:47Speaker 2: they hate yeah, so it's hard to get the balance right.
- 1:49Speaker 2: The fridge was really fucking loud. It was like someone
- 1:52Speaker 2: was starting a diesel truck and maroon.
- 1:54Speaker 3: That was good. I didn't notice that, and I was like,
- 1:57Speaker 3: I often turned those off though, the fridge yeah, and woman, yeah,
- 2:05Speaker 3: because I have to do that. But yeah, but it
- 2:13Speaker 3: wasn't a bad hotel. It had a window to the outside,
- 2:15Speaker 3: which is better than the last job Marette feel Breaker
- 2:17Speaker 3: jail Break.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Can I say that free that christ Church when we
- 2:20Speaker 2: went break Free? Worst hotel? I reckon, that's the worst
- 2:23Speaker 2: hotel we've been put in. It beats the one where
- 2:25Speaker 2: you had to sleep under the steel or Jason to
- 2:27Speaker 2: sleep under.
- 2:27Speaker 3: The stairs.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Time before you ever broadcast from it. And yeah, that
- 2:35Speaker 2: was like a motor in and we're all sharing rooms.
- 2:38Speaker 2: I was sharing a room with a guy that used
- 2:39Speaker 2: to work here.
- 2:40Speaker 5: Ah, yes, really, so I don't remember him being there
- 2:43Speaker 5: at all.
- 2:43Speaker 4: Yeah, no he was. He was pretty chill.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Yeah, no, like nothing stood out, but you're still like,
- 2:47Speaker 2: you know, when I have a hotel room, that's so funny, I.
- 2:50Speaker 5: Don't want to share a bog No, No, you know
- 2:52Speaker 5: what I mean.
- 2:53Speaker 3: No, I don't remember him being there at all, because
- 2:55Speaker 3: I remember us walking around the streets recording the Sick
- 2:57Speaker 3: that was the Six Shops and all that was.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Yes, but he I think now this is what three
- 3:01Speaker 2: four years more, he was going and sitting stuff up
- 3:05Speaker 2: was shucks, our old producer.
- 3:08Speaker 4: There they were doing that. They're fucking around doing.
- 3:09Speaker 2: That and we were going walking around like walk out
- 3:13Speaker 2: of the six, Walk Out of the Six. I remember
- 3:15Speaker 2: that and that was when we kept putting Kenny g
- 3:19Speaker 2: saxophone on.
- 3:21Speaker 4: Going through the bookshop and then it would cut me out.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't remember what I was. That was funny
- 3:26Speaker 3: times on the it's good quality, man, that is good question.
- 3:31Speaker 3: That was when the big show was good. Now it's ship. Yeah.
- 3:34Speaker 3: You know you got all the fans out there listening,
- 3:36Speaker 3: they'll be like that.
- 3:37Speaker 2: I reckon, it's getting better. I reckon, we're getting better
- 3:40Speaker 2: and better. I sound like I sound so different. I
- 3:43Speaker 2: wonder if that's the darts on.
- 3:45Speaker 3: That last night. You sound how you always sound when
- 3:48Speaker 3: you're on the when you've been on the purse. But
- 3:49Speaker 3: lately it's not good man, good What do you mean?
- 3:52Speaker 3: It's not worried about you and your drinking. Honestly, you're
- 3:54Speaker 3: like Jason the ci Is and his vapes and that
- 3:57Speaker 3: off absolute pieces.
- 3:59Speaker 5: Really normal g yeah, man, yeah, normal man.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Because how many beers did you get in and you
- 4:06Speaker 3: were drinking all through the show. Well yeah, but you
- 4:09Speaker 3: never got to the point where I was like, oh,
- 4:10Speaker 3: here we go, fucking Kesis Pursted again, looking at each
- 4:15Speaker 3: other again, here we go.
- 4:17Speaker 5: I'm like watching all the chords over the laptop.
- 4:22Speaker 2: We joke about some stuff A fellas no I reckon.
- 4:25Speaker 2: I had four beers during the show, but because we
- 4:27Speaker 2: were there for the old five point five percent hazes.
- 4:30Speaker 4: Right, that's what I was drinking all night.
- 4:31Speaker 3: That smelled good.
- 4:32Speaker 5: I have to say I love a hazy beer.
- 4:35Speaker 3: They were hearty. The whole Arky Big Show week days
- 4:38Speaker 3: from four on Radio Hurarchy the Wracky Big Show Podcast.
- 4:44Speaker 2: My wife because I had a I had a hazy
- 4:47Speaker 2: like a couple of weeks ago, and I was like,
- 4:48Speaker 2: to my wife, has he ever tasted a hazy beer before?
- 4:51Speaker 2: And so she had a hoon on it and she
- 4:53Speaker 2: was like, holy funk, that's like the nicest beer I've
- 4:55Speaker 2: ever had.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Real good. I went through a stint though, because I'm
- 4:57Speaker 3: not on at the moment, but they were smelling good.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Probably over a year of just not been able to
- 5:03Speaker 3: drink beer ever, really before I gave that bad night
- 5:07Speaker 3: on the person. Just like I'm over beers, man, over beers,
- 5:11Speaker 3: over beers. It's quite a long time.
- 5:14Speaker 2: I've never got to that point. I fucking love beers.
- 5:17Speaker 3: This beer.
- 5:19Speaker 4: Yea having a beer.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Man this morning when I woke up with the dry
- 5:23Speaker 2: horrors and a rager and nah, I couldn't muster a rager. Fuck, no,
- 5:28Speaker 2: there's not enough water in my body. Not that I water,
- 5:33Speaker 2: but I had using the plastic glass head like out
- 5:38Speaker 2: of the sink in the bathroom of the shitty hotel
- 5:40Speaker 2: and was drinking it tastes like ship, but I had
- 5:42Speaker 2: a couple of glasses of that.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Did you get your cap out of the right toilet? Man?
- 5:45Speaker 3: I mean out of the right thing.
- 5:46Speaker 4: I don't know, man.
- 5:49Speaker 2: All I could think was because the cups are sitting
- 5:50Speaker 2: in the bathroom, I was like, how many people actually
- 5:53Speaker 2: use these cups? Or has that cup been sitting there
- 5:56Speaker 2: for weeks while people have been coming into this room
- 5:58Speaker 2: taking a ship, leaving and.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Just constantly going in and out. And then I was
- 6:02Speaker 4: drinking out of it.
- 6:03Speaker 3: And it's nice that they sit right above the shitter.
- 6:06Speaker 3: I was about the people that will be nude and
- 6:08Speaker 3: rooting and jerking it and there. That's what I was
- 6:10Speaker 3: thinking about.
- 6:11Speaker 4: That what gives me a little bit.
- 6:13Speaker 2: But when I when I hop back in bed, and like,
- 6:15Speaker 2: I was pretty fucking like, oh my god, I didn't
- 6:18Speaker 2: realize I woke up to't know where I was. I
- 6:20Speaker 2: was like, I'm ndernaeding, that's right, and I'm hungover. And
- 6:22Speaker 2: then I was like, you know what, I might take
- 6:25Speaker 2: it easy.
- 6:25Speaker 4: At Magic around this year.
- 6:27Speaker 5: That's where it goes past.
- 6:33Speaker 2: No, just it was I wasn't super hungover, I wasn't
- 6:37Speaker 2: super passed.
- 6:37Speaker 3: I was just like, you're dragging your ass around.
- 6:41Speaker 4: It was.
- 6:41Speaker 3: And I said to you at the airport, Pegs, because
- 6:44Speaker 3: you see what have you done with Maggie, Because I
- 6:46Speaker 3: was in such a great mood. And I said to you,
- 6:48Speaker 3: it's when I'm around people that are hungover, it makes
- 6:50Speaker 3: me so happy because I'm not because I'm not drinking
- 6:53Speaker 3: at the moment, so it makes me super super happy
- 6:57Speaker 3: because thank god, no, not at all, but I'm so
- 7:00Speaker 3: grateful for the decisions that I'm making it at the moment,
- 7:03Speaker 3: so naturally round I'm not going to be happy at.
- 7:06Speaker 4: All, none of us.
- 7:09Speaker 2: But that's like literally in the moments, just like maybe
- 7:11Speaker 2: I just the Friday night of Magic in my head,
- 7:13Speaker 2: I was like, maybe I just don't have any beers.
- 7:15Speaker 3: I percent, and I'm thinking the opposite. We're im going
- 7:18Speaker 3: to start drinking when we get to the airport at
- 7:20Speaker 3: seven in the morning. Yeah, and then when we get
- 7:22Speaker 3: over there because we've got nothing on the we have
- 7:24Speaker 3: to do some ship.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Don't we know.
- 7:25Speaker 6: We're doing like a little meat and greet pre the
- 7:27Speaker 6: first game.
- 7:28Speaker 4: That's literally just yes, that's all good.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's like four. Yeah, I'm planning on being
- 7:35Speaker 3: paralytic by then because I want to be in bed
- 7:38Speaker 3: by Sex, which is New Zealand eight, and then I'm
- 7:40Speaker 3: brand new on Saturday.
- 7:42Speaker 5: And you're up at two.
- 7:47Speaker 3: But yeah, I don't know, because I quite like the trip.
- 7:50Speaker 3: I quite like the flights. I like the I like
- 7:52Speaker 3: the lounge.
- 7:52Speaker 4: You like riding in the plane.
- 7:54Speaker 3: I like the plane ride. Last time. I think I
- 7:55Speaker 3: had bourbon and coke because I was on the bourbon.
- 7:57Speaker 4: And coat, especially because we're in premium.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Yeah. So so I'm thinking, because what you've got is
- 8:02Speaker 3: you've actually got an opportunity if you get there early enough.
- 8:05Speaker 3: You get there early, you get passed up, you know,
- 8:08Speaker 3: not shock and burstard persed up, and then you passed
- 8:12Speaker 3: up on the plane more persed up. Yeah, then you
- 8:15Speaker 3: get to the hotel nap bang round two.
- 8:19Speaker 6: I didn't like being having like getting pissed on the
- 8:21Speaker 6: plane last time, having right man, Yeah.
- 8:24Speaker 3: I didn't know.
- 8:25Speaker 6: Maybe I didn't have the right amount respond because sitting
- 8:28Speaker 6: with Jiz it was behind me, but there was just
- 8:31Speaker 6: something like, I don't know, there was something about the
- 8:34Speaker 6: feeling of being like a little bit wobbly and then
- 8:36Speaker 6: being in the air and the dry air.
- 8:37Speaker 5: And stuff like that outside and the free.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Air, and you should just stay home.
- 8:46Speaker 6: To be a cocaine doesn't give you that much of
- 8:48Speaker 6: a hangover. I wouldn't know, I literally wouldn't have so
- 8:53Speaker 6: just stay off the beers. We didn't think you just put.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Out there really, but like he's got okay, Pugs. The
- 9:03Speaker 2: rule with those jokes is you have to have a
- 9:05Speaker 2: big nose to joke about other people's big noses.
- 9:07Speaker 3: All.
- 9:08Speaker 5: It's just it's a proximity thing, that is, it's my fault.
- 9:10Speaker 2: And with the size of my honker, you're always in proximity, right.
- 9:14Speaker 2: You can't say that ship, but pleased to say that.
- 9:17Speaker 2: When I then woke up again at eight or whatever
- 9:20Speaker 2: the fucking time was seven, when today this morning, I
- 9:23Speaker 2: was like you, I'll be sweet, but like in the
- 9:26Speaker 2: middle of the night, I was just like planning how
- 9:28Speaker 2: I'm going to not drink a magic round.
- 9:30Speaker 4: It's every time you do it, your head always does it.
- 9:33Speaker 4: And then as soon as.
- 9:34Speaker 3: You have it as you get an old man, is it. Well,
- 9:36Speaker 3: that's you considering not drinking in which you never used
- 9:39Speaker 3: to that thought, did you. No, it creeps in because you're like, sorry,
- 9:42Speaker 3: this feels like ship. I'm over it. Yeah, So I called.
- 9:47Speaker 6: I called my partner last night before I went to sleep,
- 9:50Speaker 6: and I was telling her about the show and stuff,
- 9:53Speaker 6: and I said, oh, you know, like it wasn't that
- 9:54Speaker 6: much of a big one, you know, like packed it
- 9:56Speaker 6: in probably like nine o'clock or something like that after
- 9:59Speaker 6: the show, and she's like, oh, yeah, you're getting on you.
- 10:01Speaker 5: Yeah. Party, literally a whole bunch of beers don't like that.
- 10:07Speaker 3: The live show. At the end of the day.
- 10:10Speaker 4: She is dating an older gentleman, and this is what
- 10:12Speaker 4: I like.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Get used to your nursing you through your hard times.
- 10:16Speaker 6: Bro.
- 10:17Speaker 5: So yeah, training happ you have a bed and ship.
- 10:19Speaker 3: You have to bullshit it though I had to bullshit
- 10:21Speaker 3: my way through it. Oh no, it's probably not true.
- 10:25Speaker 3: My wife was twenty six when I met her and
- 10:26Speaker 3: I was thirty seven. But I was still going hard.
- 10:29Speaker 3: I was going harder than you are now.
- 10:30Speaker 4: You're fuck. He was going hard, man. You should seen him.
- 10:33Speaker 3: You should have seen me I was a number one man,
- 10:37Speaker 3: I don't worry. I know.
- 10:38Speaker 4: Actually, it's funny with this podcast. By now, Jas would
- 10:41Speaker 4: have been like, well.
- 10:42Speaker 3: You should this morning when I was telling him about
- 10:45Speaker 3: my sweet It's don't real.
- 10:47Speaker 4: But he does it in such a lovely way.
- 10:51Speaker 3: It's just trying to relate, Yeah, by lying and one happen.
- 10:55Speaker 4: Anyway. Listen to The Big Show four or seven week days.
- 10:57Speaker 4: All right, radio head okay
- 11:00Speaker 6: Mm
