- 0:17Speaker 1: up for the hotline Unleash Prosperity dot com. Steve Moore,
- 0:21Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 0:23Speaker 2: Uh? Feeling good about things? Mark? After that great speech
- 0:26Speaker 2: the President gave, really celebrating the victories that he's had
- 0:29Speaker 2: in his first thirteen months in office, and economy's riding high.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Now, yeah, and those Democrats, boy, they fell into every
- 0:36Speaker 1: trap he said for them. A lot of TV commercials
- 0:39Speaker 1: will come from that.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Well, you know, now, we're not the party of the
- 0:44Speaker 2: illegal immigrants. So I mean, listen, I'm very pro immigrant,
- 0:48Speaker 2: as you know, and I think immigrants are so critical
- 0:50Speaker 2: to our country. But what's so hard about saying, hey,
- 0:53Speaker 2: you got to come in the right way, you got
- 0:54Speaker 2: to wait your turn, your turn in line. That's the
- 0:57Speaker 2: way immigrants have always come into this country. And so
- 1:01Speaker 2: and I thought Trump really nailed them on that, you know,
- 1:04Speaker 2: idea of the voter. I d for voting. I mean,
- 1:07Speaker 2: of course, you know you should be able to prove
- 1:09Speaker 2: you're a citizen, proof that you're a legal resident of
- 1:12Speaker 2: the country before you vote. I mean, come on, uh,
- 1:15Speaker 2: And you know it's almost to me, it's almost racist
- 1:18Speaker 2: for the oh well, you know these poor Hispanics and
- 1:21Speaker 2: these poor minorities, you know they don't have an ID.
- 1:25Speaker 2: It's like, what, come on, I tried to check into
- 1:29Speaker 2: a hotel last night. I didn't have an ID with me,
- 1:31Speaker 2: and they wouldn't let me in the hotel. You need
- 1:33Speaker 2: an ID for respout everything, Why not voting?
- 1:35Speaker 1: Wait a minute, you didn't have an ID with you.
- 1:37Speaker 2: I you know what, I left my passport, which I
- 1:39Speaker 2: leave is an idea at home accidentally, So I get
- 1:42Speaker 2: to the hotel, they wouldn't let me in. So I
- 1:44Speaker 2: almost called you up and said, Mark, I'm in New York.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Can you put me up to a suspicious guy like you.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I wouldn't let you either. I don't know it's right.
- 1:53Speaker 1: So that's the point.
- 1:54Speaker 2: It's like everything you need a ID. You want to
- 1:56Speaker 2: get on the airplane, you do want to use your
- 1:58Speaker 2: credit card? You wanted to you know, check into hotel.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Almost everything you need an id for. So who are
- 2:05Speaker 2: these people who are? And Kim Hiller said, forty percent
- 2:07Speaker 2: of Americans don't have ideas. What is she talking.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Is the you're right, you know, it's the most racist
- 2:15Speaker 1: thing you could say that poor people, minorities, they don't
- 2:18Speaker 1: know how to get an idea. That's absolutely insane.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Yeah, so someone like us said that, they know you're racist,
- 2:24Speaker 2: but when they say it, no, they're defending me at
- 2:26Speaker 2: the lonc of Films. But anyway, I thought, I love
- 2:29Speaker 2: what Trump is doing on the economy. We have a
- 2:31Speaker 2: new study. Oh by the way, did you hear one
- 2:33Speaker 2: of his first lines that Trump used in that speech?
- 2:35Speaker 2: You may recall he said I've proven twenty two Nobel
- 2:39Speaker 2: economists wrong. I don't know if you remember when he
- 2:41Speaker 2: said that, but guess who gave him that line?
- 2:44Speaker 1: I guess I know you've been saying that all on but.
- 2:48Speaker 2: He yes, Yeah, that was good. That's a good line,
- 2:51Speaker 2: and it happens to me true all the Nobel You
- 2:54Speaker 2: remember this mark when he was elect Oh my god,
- 2:56Speaker 2: we have a great depression. That's gonna be the biggest
- 2:57Speaker 2: stock sellouf ever. Inflation is going through the roof wrong, wrong,
- 3:01Speaker 2: long long, long, and these are the Nobel Prize winners.
- 3:04Speaker 1: How did these guys get jobs? You know, like a
- 3:06Speaker 1: Paul Krugman. For years, everything you said was wrong. You
- 3:09Speaker 1: know what, doesn't the employer at some point say this
- 3:12Speaker 1: guy's always wrong. Let's get somebody else.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Well, if you were in the private sector, and let's
- 3:17Speaker 2: say you were an economus for Goldman sax or something,
- 3:20Speaker 2: you would you would be fired. But if you're at
- 3:22Speaker 2: a university, it doesn't matter how many times you're wrong,
- 3:24Speaker 2: as long as you're you're attacking Donald Trump, you've got tenure.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Hey, you know the state of the Union. You know
- 3:30Speaker 1: who had a hard time with it. The fact checkers.
- 3:32Speaker 1: They really couldn't get anything on them, could they.
- 3:36Speaker 2: They really couldn't. And I mean the patch cut has
- 3:39Speaker 2: been big and has been beautiful, and people you know,
- 3:41Speaker 2: used to come up to me at the end of
- 3:42Speaker 2: last year and they'd be young that, Hey, Steve Moore,
- 3:44Speaker 2: where's that patch cut? You know, you said that Trump
- 3:47Speaker 2: was going to get it, and then I said, just wait, it's.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Coming, you know.
- 3:50Speaker 2: So now people are really seeing it in their paychecks.
- 3:52Speaker 2: The average family will see about two thousand dollars less
- 3:55Speaker 2: money with drawn from their paycheck by the IRS than
- 3:58Speaker 2: they did last year because they're the big beautiful bill. Plus,
- 4:01Speaker 2: you've got a friend, Larry Tubler says, we've got an
- 4:03Speaker 2: investment boom going on in this country by businesses. Why
- 4:06Speaker 2: is that, Oh, because we cut the tax rate on investing.
- 4:09Speaker 2: And you know who would have thought that if you
- 4:10Speaker 2: cut the tax on something, you get more of it.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Yeah. Hey, Steve Moore, explain something about tariffs. If you've
- 4:16Speaker 1: got enough tariff revenue, you could really bring down income
- 4:20Speaker 1: tax or even eliminated. Is that possible?
- 4:23Speaker 2: It is? In fact, I talk about that in our
- 4:26Speaker 2: hotline that came out this this morning. So everybody should
- 4:29Speaker 2: get that. Just go to on leash pros Thority dot
- 4:30Speaker 2: com and sign up for free. And that was one
- 4:32Speaker 2: of our points is, you know, the left lap Trump
- 4:34Speaker 2: things we can get rid of the income tax. That
- 4:36Speaker 2: could never work. It's inconceivable. I'm like, well, wait a minute,
- 4:39Speaker 2: you know, are these people stupid? It was for the
- 4:41Speaker 2: first one hundred and twenty five years of this country, Mark,
- 4:43Speaker 2: we didn't have an income tax and we did just fine,
- 4:46Speaker 2: as I recall, you know, and so if we could
- 4:49Speaker 2: we could do this with an eighteen percent national sales
- 4:51Speaker 2: tax and an eighteen percent tariff we could replace. We
- 4:54Speaker 2: could have zero income personal income text, zero capital game tax,
- 4:58Speaker 2: zero tough tax, zero div tax, zero corporate tax. I mean,
- 5:02Speaker 2: can you imagine what that would do for our economy?
- 5:04Speaker 2: I mean, you want to talk about pumping rocket fuel
- 5:06Speaker 2: and steroids into the butt of the economy. It would
- 5:08Speaker 2: be the most amazing thing. You know, we'd have to
- 5:10Speaker 2: probably build a wall six hundred feet tall to keep
- 5:13Speaker 2: all the people out of who'd want to come here
- 5:15Speaker 2: because we'd be you know, so many jobs and so
- 5:17Speaker 2: much capital.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Yeah, if people might not realize this, there was no
- 5:20Speaker 1: income tax in America.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Till like nineteen until nineteen fourteen.
- 5:24Speaker 1: So in nineteen thirteen, how do we pay for the
- 5:26Speaker 1: army and for everything where we had?
- 5:30Speaker 2: That's a good question. We got our revenues from two
- 5:32Speaker 2: major sources. One was terraced and you know what the
- 5:35Speaker 2: other one was no land sales.
- 5:39Speaker 1: You mean, like a TAXI sold.
- 5:43Speaker 2: We sold federal lands. And we now, by the way,
- 5:46Speaker 2: the federal government still owns what about thirty five percent
- 5:49Speaker 2: of the federal the land and about fifty percent of
- 5:51Speaker 2: the land west of the Mississippi. So let's sell that
- 5:54Speaker 2: use that money to get rid of the income tax.
- 5:56Speaker 2: What do you think about that?
- 5:57Speaker 1: Yeah? You know, if you were one of these private
- 5:59Speaker 1: sector takeover guys and you came in and you bought
- 6:03Speaker 1: the United States of America, you'd see, well, I can
- 6:04Speaker 1: cut the budget in half easily without any loss, and
- 6:07Speaker 1: I could get rid of the tax and do tear.
- 6:10Speaker 1: It'd be easy to do, wouldn't it if you were Yeah.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Plus, if you had an eighteen percent sales tax already,
- 6:15Speaker 2: they every time the government, would you know, with other
- 6:18Speaker 2: politicians like Akama Harrister, you know, your friend Bertie Sanders
- 6:23Speaker 2: said oh, let's have this new government program, and they say, well,
- 6:26Speaker 2: if we do that, we're gonna have to raise the
- 6:27Speaker 2: sales tax nineteen percent. Piece of hell, No, we don't
- 6:30Speaker 2: want you to raise a sales tax. You'd have a
- 6:32Speaker 2: natural opposition from everyone, all voters, because everybody would pay
- 6:36Speaker 2: their fair share for the government.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Steve Moore, if you were running a state like California,
- 6:42Speaker 1: or you're whatever state you're running, and you noticed a
- 6:44Speaker 1: lot of my businesses are moving to Texas, wouldn't you
- 6:47Speaker 1: say to yourself, what are they doing there? How come
- 6:49Speaker 1: I wouldn't you copy what.
- 6:51Speaker 2: They're doing, You would think, so, you know, this is
- 6:55Speaker 2: the ingeniousness of our founding fathers was creating a system
- 6:59Speaker 2: where the states. So many of the rights and privileges
- 7:04Speaker 2: were delegated to the states, not the federal government. And
- 7:07Speaker 2: the founding fouthers wanted the states to compete against each other,
- 7:11Speaker 2: because competition is a good thing. Well, that's what we've
- 7:13Speaker 2: got now. And do you know what the five states
- 7:16Speaker 2: are that have the highest cost of living the least
- 7:19Speaker 2: affordable states?
- 7:20Speaker 1: Uh, well, I guess New York and California.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Yes, and New Jersey and Connecticut and Massachusetts, Illinois, Massachusetts,
- 7:29Speaker 2: Connecticut is a very expensive state. Too high cost of
- 7:31Speaker 2: living in the states with the lowest cost of living,
- 7:33Speaker 2: or states like Arkansas, states like Alabama, states like North Carolina,
- 7:38Speaker 2: states like utah Gee they have no low taxes, I mean,
- 7:42Speaker 2: so they can. And by the way, in New York
- 7:44Speaker 2: and California, even though they're getting crushed, I mean, New
- 7:47Speaker 2: York is lost. There's a new study by a New
- 7:49Speaker 2: York business group that's finding hundreds and hundreds and hundreds
- 7:51Speaker 2: of businesses that have left just in the last year.
- 7:55Speaker 2: And you think maybe we should try a new game plan.
- 7:58Speaker 2: And yet Mondominie wants what he wants, a millionaire billionaire tax,
- 8:02Speaker 2: and he can't have that. He's going to race Axent
- 8:04Speaker 2: on everybody. And you know, oh gee, we can't find
- 8:07Speaker 2: any money to save from the budget. Really really, out
- 8:09Speaker 2: of one hundred and twelve billion dollar budget, you can't
- 8:11Speaker 2: find any money to save.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Yeah. No, I mean if you doge doge every city
- 8:17Speaker 1: in New York, you'd save probably seventy five percent of
- 8:20Speaker 1: the budget. Well, Steve Moore, great stuff. Hey, I've got
- 8:23Speaker 1: to mention your book, The Trump Economic Miracle.
- 8:26Speaker 2: It's a miracle. It's a miracle.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Excellent bookf you want to understand all this in detail,
- 8:30Speaker 1: get Steve Moore's book, The Trump Economic Miracle. Are you
- 8:32Speaker 1: working on another book?
- 8:35Speaker 2: Well, it's so funny. Trump asked me, you're gonna let
- 8:37Speaker 2: a new book down? Okay, I will. You know, I
- 8:41Speaker 2: don't know what to call this one, but you know
- 8:43Speaker 2: his record is stirling and I think the things are
- 8:46Speaker 2: only going to get better.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, thanks to you and others who have helped
- 8:50Speaker 1: with all of this, and Steve Moore, great stuff, Thanks
