- 0:01Hello, ladies and gentlemen, my name is Brett Keen from God TV

- 0:06blessed day out there. Christmas is coming up.
- 0:10Hope you have a nice Christmas and New Year's Eve for sure if
- 0:15anyone out there would like to get me something off of my
- 0:18Christmas wish list, the link is in the description.
- 0:21Be more than happy to get a hook-up from you.
- 0:24No obligations. No.
- 0:27So, here we go. One of the Ins?
- 0:31Why? I believe that Jesus Christ had
- 0:34such a struggle whenever he came to the Earth was because of how
- 0:38God represented himself in the Old Testament, a lot of the
- 0:42Jews. Even now believe that the
- 0:44Messiah is still yet to come, and they believe that the
- 0:48Messiah is supposed to be some kind of warrior, like being an
- 0:53entity that is supposed to come to the Earth and completely wipe
- 0:57out all of the evil and darkness and be done with all of it.
- 1:01Not exactly what happened with Jesus Christ.
- 1:04Is it some would argue that Jesus Christ didn't behave at
- 1:09any way or identical to the god of the Old Testament, although
- 1:13Christians claim that they are one.
- 1:15In the same entity, the god of the Old Testament, wasn't so
- 1:21much love, your enemies do unto others and be nice to your
- 1:26neighbor type of attitude, the god of the Old Testament would
- 1:30command people to put blood on their doorways or he would
- 1:34slaughter their children. Using the angel death to do.
- 1:38So throughout the catacombs of Egypt, this was a God who
- 1:43brought famine and plague in death and destruction to anyone
- 1:47that even thought of worshiping other gods are false Idols.
- 1:53So when Jesus came to the Earth as this vulnerable baby, and
- 1:58then as being gentle and kind and Loving the people and
- 2:03telling us that we should just all get along type of Rodney,
- 2:06King thing. The disciples and anyone around
- 2:11didn't expect that type of behavior.
- 2:14And some people say it's so weird that Jesus Christ didn't
- 2:17get along in his own town, that he actually got put out of it.
- 2:23Why would his own town become? See him as a stranger and cast
- 2:28him out and all this? Well, it's because As you have a
- 2:32young person who was walking around claiming to be divine and
- 2:36for them that was considered extremely bad.
- 2:40See according to their view of a person walked around claiming to
- 2:45be a prophet and they were false or someone was claiming to be of
- 2:49God and they were not and the Old Testament God would punish
- 2:53not only the person but would also destroy everybody around
- 2:57them. So they kind of got put between
- 3:00a rock and a tight. Ice whenever it came to Jesus
- 3:03because here you got a guy who's very convincing even when he's
- 3:07younger, growing up to this issue, where God of the Bible
- 3:14commands them to do away with people who may be liars and
- 3:20people who are screwing around, does that make sense?
- 3:23Yeah, so of course, whenever the Pharisees come along, if you've
- 3:28never read the Old Testament before and right, Write about
- 3:31God's behavior and his attitude towards Humanity.
- 3:36You see these Pharisees coming out and they're constantly.
- 3:40They're like the religious group of the time, they're saying to
- 3:43Jesus. Hey, if you're truly what you
- 3:46say, you are. Then yada yada yada yada.
- 3:48They're constantly testing him. Now, some people look at the
- 3:52Sadducees and Pharisees, as a bunch of terrible Hypocrites.
- 3:56Who were just trying to constantly set God up or do
- 4:01Those Christ. But the truth is that there was
- 4:04more to the story than just simply some deceptive holy
- 4:08people trying to screw with the Messiah.
- 4:11They were trying to make sure that he was the real deal.
- 4:14They wanted to make sure that they weren't following along
- 4:19some kind of false prophet because as far as they were
- 4:21concerned following the wrong profit or following the wrong
- 4:26person of God meant their death, their faith not just sir.
- 4:31Their doom on Earth, but their doom, and the afterlife as well,
- 4:37that depends on what form of Jew.
- 4:40You're dealing with some Jews. Don't exactly believe in the
- 4:43afterlife to same way, Christians do.
- 4:47But now, I think that you guys are starting to get the
- 4:50conundrum here, you got a young girl who's claiming that she's
- 4:55pregnant, she's telling her husband that some angels came
- 4:59down and that there was some kind of A judgment and
- 5:02interaction with God, and he's doing this.
- 5:06But God actually put a baby inside of the woman and that
- 5:09this is the way it's going to be.
- 5:12Now this for some of these folks are extremely unusual to because
- 5:16at this time period they're engaging with pagans.
- 5:20They're engaging with the Romans, and the pagans were very
- 5:24familiar with their own stories that they had where gods were
- 5:30came to the Earth and interacted with humanity and all this.
- 5:35So for them it wasn't like a big shock or something like that.
- 5:39Later on in the story, when they interact with someone who's
- 5:42claiming to be this way to them, they had seen many liars, many
- 5:46people throughout their time and now they were sitting in
- 5:50Jerusalem, the Romans didn't like the Jews very much because
- 5:55they believed that the Jews were not Progressive.
- 5:59You see the Romans, they'd already done many years of the
- 6:02whole Pagan worship Gods thing. NG they had already come from
- 6:07their own area where people were worshipping, every kind of cod
- 6:12or Superstition that there was. So now you've got these people
- 6:17off in the desert who are saying.
- 6:19Now this is the one, this is the chosen one.
- 6:23So that's why the Roman seem so. How shall I say?
- 6:27So nonchalant about the concept of Jesus Christ.
- 6:33Now this video is meant to defend the behaviors of the
- 6:36Pharisees and the Romans or anything like that.
- 6:39I'm just telling you that there's more to the story than
- 6:42just, you know, you're black and white.
- 6:45Good Guys, bad guys. Antihero type of deal.
- 6:49There was more going on. There was reasons why everything
- 6:54was going like it. Was and one thing was for sure,
- 6:58is that Jesus had it planned from a young age that he was
- 7:03going to interact and engage all these different people?
- 7:07And Basically, if you think about it, how he interacted with
- 7:13them was embarrassing. He knew that they were he was an
- 7:19intelligent wise young man who knew the kind of tightrope, they
- 7:24were walking, you know, and then on top of it, if they got
- 7:30something wrong, he did end up, giving them a threat about how
- 7:33they're blind and how they're not seen and all this kind of
- 7:37stuff. Well, They were blinded from
- 7:41Fear, they were blinded from their anxiety wondering, if they
- 7:46were dealing with another false teacher, another false prophet,
- 7:49and false us. And Jesus Christ.
- 7:51If he was actually God or the Son of God, then he would have
- 7:55had to have known all this. Now let's get to the disciples,
- 8:00that's a fascinating subject matter.
- 8:02It seems to me that before Judas allegedly betrayed, Jesus
- 8:07Christ, Jesus would have had to known before he even chosen him
- 8:11or pointed his finger and said walk with me that this guy was
- 8:15one day going to do this. So all this time, Jesus is
- 8:20breaking bread with a guy. He's eating with a guy.
- 8:22He's telling them all that. He loves them and he cares about
- 8:26them, but he knows that one of them is going to To end up
- 8:29hanging from a tree like, Tarzan from the neck.
- 8:32He knows us. And he also knows that Peter,
- 8:35the very guy that he's telling is going to be the rock, that
- 8:39his church is built, the barn is the same guy who's going to
- 8:42renounce him three times before he was crucified, he also knows
- 8:46that every one of these guys who are following him and they're
- 8:49all telling each other how much they love and care about each
- 8:52other. These are going to be the same
- 8:54group of guys who are just going to stand around in the shadows
- 8:57while he's getting Inspecting are mocked and then crucified.
- 9:03So technically if you think about it, I mean you could argue
- 9:07that Jesus told them, you know, told you just go do what you're
- 9:11going to do and he told Peter, you're going to do this, whether
- 9:15you like it or not and the other disciples you need to run.
- 9:19So he commanded them all to basically betray them.
- 9:24You know, we always look at Judas for whatever reason
- 9:28because he was the one that directly went to the soldiers to
- 9:31say something. And he was the one that actually
- 9:33picked up, I believe it was 30 sober.
- 9:36But let's, let's be honest here. He told Peter to go do some
- 9:42things as well. He told the disciples run away,
- 9:46don't protect me, don't defend me, don't do anything.
- 9:49Just go on your way, the disciples if we were to Give
- 9:53them a little bit of Kudos and credit here.
- 9:55They did say but we want to be with you Jesus.
- 9:59We want to they wanted to be there for him.
- 10:04And Jesus actually did say this in a lot of Christians, don't
- 10:07like to remember this for some reason, whenever it's being
- 10:11talked about and Jesus said, well you can follow me.
- 10:16You can follow me all the way to the end if you want, but you'll
- 10:19be taken upon your own cross. We talked about this in an older
- 10:24video that I did where Jesus did offer them, the opportunity that
- 10:30if they wanted to follow him, they were going to follow him to
- 10:33death, that's what would have happened but he ended up
- 10:38eventually just letting them go on their way and Scatter like
- 10:42cockroaches in order to get away from the inevitable, Doom that
- 10:46was coming. You have to understand this was
- 10:51very strange for the Romans, as well as the Jews at this time.
- 10:58You've got a guy who's basically yelling that folks and telling
- 11:02them you're not allowed to do this in the temple, you're not
- 11:05allowed to do this. He's basically he's got no
- 11:09credentials to be telling the sad tooties, how to build a run
- 11:13things, what they were doing was wrong though.
- 11:15It's something that God did not like but But this had to tease
- 11:21were also kind of under a the rule and thumb of the pagans.
- 11:26At this time. The Romans said, this is how we
- 11:29want things done. Yada yada yada.
- 11:31If the Jews were to strike against the Romans, then there
- 11:35would have been a big old bloody war at the middle of Jerusalem,
- 11:38right? Then and there, So, yeah, yeah,
- 11:46it's a fascinating story for this entire time.
- 11:51I don't think that all the way up to the point where Jesus
- 11:53Christ is going to get crucified.
- 11:55I don't think that many of the men actually believed it was
- 12:00ever going to happen. I think that they were all
- 12:03convinced at some point in time that God was going to basically
- 12:09rid the land of evil that he was going to be their Warrior, that
- 12:13they're Divine night. Basically, that was going to get
- 12:18rid of everything not completely enveloped this concept of love
- 12:23and goodness and all this. Because let's face it.
- 12:26That's again, that's not the way the god, of the Old Testament
- 12:29behaved. He wasn't like that.
- 12:31I'm not saying that God of the Old Testament never showed mercy
- 12:35and he never showed favor towards some. well, but He was,
- 12:41he was mean he was Ralph, if he didn't think that what you were
- 12:45doing was right? And he didn't think you were
- 12:47going to change your ways. This was a god who's willing to
- 12:51drown the entire Earth. If that came down to be, Jesus
- 12:55Christ had to be extremely shocking and strange to the
- 12:59world. They expected a different type
- 13:03of divine presence. Not not this.
- 13:08Loving kind guy. I walked in her robe, all clean
- 13:13and chill. Talking about you know, how we
- 13:15should love and be good and all this kind of stuff but lo and
- 13:20behold, if one word open up to the Book of Revelations, Jesus
- 13:24Christ is mentioned as being the courrier of justice and
- 13:28destruction, that he will be the warrior that everybody expects
- 13:33him to be it just so happens that that's going to happen in
- 13:36the afterlife between the war between Celestial being.
- 13:39Beans and then will make its way to the Physical Realm of Earth,
- 13:44and Mankind, and God. So yeah.
- 13:50All right. What do you think?
- 13:51Ladies and gentlemen you think the world betrayed Jesus Christ,
- 13:56or do you think that some believe that they might have
- 13:58been betrayed? So yeah.
- 13:50All right. What do you think?
- 13:51Ladies and gentlemen you think the world betrayed Jesus Christ,
- 13:56or do you think that some believe that they might have
- 13:58been betrayed?
