  So, here we go. One of the Ins?

  Why? I believe that Jesus Christ had
• 0:34
  such a struggle whenever he came to the Earth was because of how
• 0:38
  God represented himself in the Old Testament, a lot of the
• 0:42
  Jews. Even now believe that the
• 0:44
  Messiah is still yet to come, and they believe that the
• 0:48
  Messiah is supposed to be some kind of warrior, like being an
• 0:53
  entity that is supposed to come to the Earth and completely wipe
• 0:57
  out all of the evil and darkness and be done with all of it.

  Not exactly what happened with Jesus Christ.

  Is it some would argue that Jesus Christ didn't behave at
• 1:09
  any way or identical to the god of the Old Testament, although
• 1:13
  Christians claim that they are one.

  In the same entity, the god of the Old Testament, wasn't so
• 1:21
  much love, your enemies do unto others and be nice to your
• 1:26
  neighbor type of attitude, the god of the Old Testament would
• 1:30
  command people to put blood on their doorways or he would
• 1:34
  slaughter their children. Using the angel death to do.

  So throughout the catacombs of Egypt, this was a God who
• 1:43
  brought famine and plague in death and destruction to anyone
• 1:47
  that even thought of worshiping other gods are false Idols.

  So when Jesus came to the Earth as this vulnerable baby, and

  then as being gentle and kind and Loving the people and

  telling us that we should just all get along type of Rodney,
• 2:06
  King thing. The disciples and anyone around
• 2:11
  didn't expect that type of behavior.

  And some people say it's so weird that Jesus Christ didn't
• 2:17
  get along in his own town, that he actually got put out of it.

  Why would his own town become? See him as a stranger and cast
• 2:28
  him out and all this? Well, it's because As you have a
• 2:32
  young person who was walking around claiming to be divine and
• 2:36
  for them that was considered extremely bad.
• 2:40
  See according to their view of a person walked around claiming to
• 2:45
  be a prophet and they were false or someone was claiming to be of
• 2:49
  God and they were not and the Old Testament God would punish
• 2:53
  not only the person but would also destroy everybody around
• 2:57
  them. So they kind of got put between
• 3:00
  a rock and a tight. Ice whenever it came to Jesus
• 3:03
  because here you got a guy who's very convincing even when he's
• 3:07
  younger, growing up to this issue, where God of the Bible
• 3:14
  commands them to do away with people who may be liars and
• 3:20
  people who are screwing around, does that make sense?

  Yeah, so of course, whenever the Pharisees come along, if you've
• 3:28
  never read the Old Testament before and right, Write about

  God's behavior and his attitude towards Humanity.

  You see these Pharisees coming out and they're constantly.

  They're like the religious group of the time, they're saying to
• 3:43
  Jesus. Hey, if you're truly what you
• 3:46
  say, you are. Then yada yada yada yada.

  They're constantly testing him. Now, some people look at the
• 3:52
  Sadducees and Pharisees, as a bunch of terrible Hypocrites.

  Who were just trying to constantly set God up or do
• 4:01
  Those Christ. But the truth is that there was
• 4:04
  more to the story than just simply some deceptive holy
• 4:08
  people trying to screw with the Messiah.
• 4:11
  They were trying to make sure that he was the real deal.
• 4:14
  They wanted to make sure that they weren't following along
• 4:19
  some kind of false prophet because as far as they were
• 4:21
  concerned following the wrong profit or following the wrong
• 4:26
  person of God meant their death, their faith not just sir.
• 4:31
  Their doom on Earth, but their doom, and the afterlife as well,
• 4:37
  that depends on what form of Jew.
• 4:40
  You're dealing with some Jews. Don't exactly believe in the
• 4:43
  afterlife to same way, Christians do.

  But now, I think that you guys are starting to get the
• 4:50
  conundrum here, you got a young girl who's claiming that she's
• 4:55
  pregnant, she's telling her husband that some angels came
• 4:59
  down and that there was some kind of A judgment and
• 5:02
  interaction with God, and he's doing this.
• 5:06
  But God actually put a baby inside of the woman and that
• 5:09
  this is the way it's going to be.

  Now this for some of these folks are extremely unusual to because
• 5:16
  at this time period they're engaging with pagans.
• 5:20
  They're engaging with the Romans, and the pagans were very
• 5:24
  familiar with their own stories that they had where gods were
• 5:30
  came to the Earth and interacted with humanity and all this.
• 5:35
  So for them it wasn't like a big shock or something like that.
• 5:39
  Later on in the story, when they interact with someone who's
• 5:42
  claiming to be this way to them, they had seen many liars, many
• 5:46
  people throughout their time and now they were sitting in
• 5:50
  Jerusalem, the Romans didn't like the Jews very much because
• 5:55
  they believed that the Jews were not Progressive.
• 5:59
  You see the Romans, they'd already done many years of the
• 6:02
  whole Pagan worship Gods thing. NG they had already come from
• 6:07
  their own area where people were worshipping, every kind of cod
• 6:12
  or Superstition that there was. So now you've got these people
• 6:17
  off in the desert who are saying.
• 6:19
  Now this is the one, this is the chosen one.

  So that's why the Roman seem so. How shall I say?

  So nonchalant about the concept of Jesus Christ.

  Now this video is meant to defend the behaviors of the

  Pharisees and the Romans or anything like that.

  I'm just telling you that there's more to the story than

  just, you know, you're black and white.

  Good Guys, bad guys. Antihero type of deal.

  There was more going on. There was reasons why everything
• 6:54
  was going like it. Was and one thing was for sure,

  is that Jesus had it planned from a young age that he was

  going to interact and engage all these different people?

  And Basically, if you think about it, how he interacted with
• 7:13
  them was embarrassing. He knew that they were he was an
• 7:19
  intelligent wise young man who knew the kind of tightrope, they
• 7:24
  were walking, you know, and then on top of it, if they got
• 7:30
  something wrong, he did end up, giving them a threat about how
• 7:33
  they're blind and how they're not seen and all this kind of
• 7:37
  stuff. Well, They were blinded from
• 7:41
  Fear, they were blinded from their anxiety wondering, if they
• 7:46
  were dealing with another false teacher, another false prophet,
• 7:49
  and false us. And Jesus Christ.

  If he was actually God or the Son of God, then he would have
• 7:55
  had to have known all this. Now let's get to the disciples,
• 8:00
  that's a fascinating subject matter.

  It seems to me that before Judas allegedly betrayed, Jesus
• 8:07
  Christ, Jesus would have had to known before he even chosen him
• 8:11
  or pointed his finger and said walk with me that this guy was
• 8:15
  one day going to do this. So all this time, Jesus is
• 8:20
  breaking bread with a guy. He's eating with a guy.

  He's telling them all that. He loves them and he cares about
• 8:26
  them, but he knows that one of them is going to To end up
• 8:29
  hanging from a tree like, Tarzan from the neck.

  He knows us. And he also knows that Peter,
• 8:35
  the very guy that he's telling is going to be the rock, that
• 8:39
  his church is built, the barn is the same guy who's going to
• 8:42
  renounce him three times before he was crucified, he also knows
• 8:46
  that every one of these guys who are following him and they're
• 8:49
  all telling each other how much they love and care about each
• 8:52
  other. These are going to be the same
• 8:54
  group of guys who are just going to stand around in the shadows
• 8:57
  while he's getting Inspecting are mocked and then crucified.

  So technically if you think about it, I mean you could argue

  that Jesus told them, you know, told you just go do what you're
• 9:11
  going to do and he told Peter, you're going to do this, whether
• 9:15
  you like it or not and the other disciples you need to run.

  So he commanded them all to basically betray them.

  You know, we always look at Judas for whatever reason
• 9:28
  because he was the one that directly went to the soldiers to
• 9:31
  say something. And he was the one that actually
• 9:33
  picked up, I believe it was 30 sober.

  But let's, let's be honest here. He told Peter to go do some
• 9:42
  things as well. He told the disciples run away,
• 9:46
  don't protect me, don't defend me, don't do anything.

  Just go on your way, the disciples if we were to Give
• 9:53
  them a little bit of Kudos and credit here.

  They did say but we want to be with you Jesus.

  We want to they wanted to be there for him.

  And Jesus actually did say this in a lot of Christians, don't

  like to remember this for some reason, whenever it's being

  talked about and Jesus said, well you can follow me.

  You can follow me all the way to the end if you want, but you'll

  be taken upon your own cross. We talked about this in an older
• 10:24
  video that I did where Jesus did offer them, the opportunity that

  if they wanted to follow him, they were going to follow him to
• 10:33
  death, that's what would have happened but he ended up
• 10:38
  eventually just letting them go on their way and Scatter like
• 10:42
  cockroaches in order to get away from the inevitable, Doom that
• 10:46
  was coming. You have to understand this was
• 10:51
  very strange for the Romans, as well as the Jews at this time.

  You've got a guy who's basically yelling that folks and telling

  them you're not allowed to do this in the temple, you're not
• 11:05
  allowed to do this. He's basically he's got no
• 11:09
  credentials to be telling the sad tooties, how to build a run
• 11:13
  things, what they were doing was wrong though.

  It's something that God did not like but But this had to tease
• 11:21
  were also kind of under a the rule and thumb of the pagans.

  At this time. The Romans said, this is how we
• 11:29
  want things done. Yada yada yada.

  If the Jews were to strike against the Romans, then there
• 11:35
  would have been a big old bloody war at the middle of Jerusalem,

  right? Then and there, So, yeah, yeah,

  it's a fascinating story for this entire time.

  I don't think that all the way up to the point where Jesus

  Christ is going to get crucified.

  I don't think that many of the men actually believed it was

  ever going to happen. I think that they were all

  convinced at some point in time that God was going to basically

  rid the land of evil that he was going to be their Warrior, that
• 12:13
  they're Divine night. Basically, that was going to get
• 12:18
  rid of everything not completely enveloped this concept of love
• 12:23
  and goodness and all this. Because let's face it.

  That's again, that's not the way the god, of the Old Testament
• 12:29
  behaved. He wasn't like that.

  I'm not saying that God of the Old Testament never showed mercy
• 12:35
  and he never showed favor towards some. well, but He was,
• 12:41
  he was mean he was Ralph, if he didn't think that what you were
• 12:45
  doing was right? And he didn't think you were
• 12:47
  going to change your ways. This was a god who's willing to
• 12:51
  drown the entire Earth. If that came down to be, Jesus
• 12:55
  Christ had to be extremely shocking and strange to the
• 12:59
  world. They expected a different type

  of divine presence. Not not this.

  Loving kind guy. I walked in her robe, all clean
• 13:13
  and chill. Talking about you know, how we
• 13:15
  should love and be good and all this kind of stuff but lo and

  behold, if one word open up to the Book of Revelations, Jesus

  Christ is mentioned as being the courrier of justice and
• 13:28
  destruction, that he will be the warrior that everybody expects
• 13:33
  him to be it just so happens that that's going to happen in
• 13:36
  the afterlife between the war between Celestial being.

  Beans and then will make its way to the Physical Realm of Earth,
• 13:44
  and Mankind, and God. So yeah.
