- 0:50Speaker 4: beautiful blue day. Walked to work this morning, blue skies,
- 0:54Speaker 4: beautiful morning.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Cold as a bastard. Yeah you beauty, bring it on.
- 0:59Speaker 2: I went for a little morning walk like you, Mogie.
- 1:01Speaker 2: I think it was about eight degrees. Yeah, I felt
- 1:03Speaker 2: like too kezy. How are you going, mate?
- 1:07Speaker 3: Good as gold Fellers. Feeling much better than yesterday?
- 1:09Speaker 2: Think? Oh yeah, great stuff.
- 1:10Speaker 4: In terms of it, because for those who don't know
- 1:12Speaker 4: Kezy had a big night out on Tuesday because he's
- 1:15Speaker 4: a shocking bush dude. Yesterday is an absolute puddle of
- 1:19Speaker 4: a man. In terms of a percentage, Kesey, where do
- 1:22Speaker 4: you rate yourself today?
- 1:24Speaker 3: My brain? I reckon it is operating about seventy five percent.
- 1:27Speaker 2: That's quite a lot down, isn't it? Yeah? But it is.
- 1:30Speaker 4: It sort of like an iPhone battery where you've had
- 1:32Speaker 4: it for years and years and years and it sort
- 1:34Speaker 4: of maxes out about seventy six seventy seven percent.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Yeah, and it's it's on low power mode right now,
- 1:39Speaker 3: and I've got a few settings turned off like Bluetooth,
- 1:41Speaker 3: et cetera, just to try and get me home.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Right mode because that was going to ask as that
- 1:45Speaker 2: twenty five percent. It's a sort of durbrain Yeah, I
- 1:48Speaker 2: mean brain mode, yeah, der brain mode. But no, because
- 1:51Speaker 2: you've got the other seventy five percent. Yeah, you're a
- 1:54Speaker 2: top radio DJ.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Thanks, Jase. How are you today?
- 1:56Speaker 4: Man?
- 1:57Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:57Speaker 2: Not too bad things fellows. I had to take it
- 1:59Speaker 2: easy today. Me hips giving me a bit of grief
- 2:03Speaker 2: with all the walk and I'm doing. It's gone to mcgroin,
- 2:05Speaker 2: So I just I listened to my body today and
- 2:08Speaker 2: went no, just take it easy. Good for you, Jason Man,
- 2:11Speaker 2: you're yourself beggs man. Hey, Mogi. What's coming up on
- 2:16Speaker 2: the show show with old mogis Fellas.
- 2:22Speaker 4: We're going to be going down to a Beavana in
- 2:25Speaker 4: a couple of three weeks there and now we're offer
- 2:27Speaker 4: an opportunity for a couple of backbones to join us
- 2:30Speaker 4: down there. Go to Beavana, come along to the live
- 2:33Speaker 4: show and be part of our support crew. Listening out
- 2:35Speaker 4: for the queue to cool Yes Sichos. Later on the show,
- 2:38Speaker 4: we're going to have Packasadi and Hannah Marshall, the creators
- 2:41Speaker 4: and stars of the new sitcom Setlinge, which starts tonight
- 2:45Speaker 4: on three Now and TV three and coming up next Fellas,
- 2:49Speaker 4: possibly the most important, the biggest big pole of all time,
- 2:55Speaker 4: of all time.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Wow.
- 2:57Speaker 4: We discussed with the Jason Hoyt should be banned from
- 3:02Speaker 4: the Throbber What.
- 3:05Speaker 3: For long time coming? Jason? You know it, I know
- 3:07Speaker 3: the audience knows it. Three four eight three that it's
- 3:10Speaker 3: not you think.
- 3:11Speaker 2: In the meantime, here's Oasis for.
- 3:14Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Is indeed puddle of mud. There on the Hadarchy Big
- 3:21Speaker 2: Show this Thursday afternoon. The time is fifteen minutes past
- 3:25Speaker 2: four o'clock. And jeez, I'm loving the music on Hodak
- 3:29Speaker 2: at the moment, you know what I mean, It sort
- 3:31Speaker 2: of ebbs and flows for me. Just incidentally, later on
- 3:35Speaker 2: in the show, I'll be going through my goat. We'll
- 3:38Speaker 2: be having a little bit of a chitty chat about that.
- 3:40Speaker 2: And you know, I've seen what old Hoidy Jay's come
- 3:43Speaker 2: up with. There should be bloody good stuff.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I wouldn't count on it.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Yeah, well it may well be the end up getting
- 3:51Speaker 4: banned from the Goat as well. But in the meantime,
- 3:54Speaker 4: it is time for the.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Now.
- 4:03Speaker 4: I'm just going to take the take the steering wheel
- 4:05Speaker 4: on this one, Keezy, because I know how fired up
- 4:07Speaker 4: you get. Yeah, please do you know, over the course
- 4:10Speaker 4: of probably the last three months to two and a
- 4:13Speaker 4: half years, Jason has been having a shocker when it
- 4:15Speaker 4: comes to the throb Now, the Throbber is held on
- 4:17Speaker 4: a Friday afternoon, so where we each choose a song,
- 4:20Speaker 4: the audience votes on it, and it's meant to get
- 4:22Speaker 4: the weekend off to a flyer with a hard rocker.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Can I just say also, it's something we've been doing
- 4:27Speaker 3: since the very first week of our show, yeah, way
- 4:30Speaker 3: back five plus years ago.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Oh yeah, man, it's an institution of the show and
- 4:34Speaker 2: I love it.
- 4:35Speaker 4: And so Jason's sort of, you know, in varying ways,
- 4:39Speaker 4: brought great shame on himself and on the Throbber in general.
- 4:42Speaker 4: And what's ended up happening over you know, certainly this year,
- 4:46Speaker 4: is that people are texting and complaints about the Throbber
- 4:49Speaker 4: as opposed to been you know, super enthusiastic about it.
- 4:53Speaker 4: Another another shaka, why do you bother? All of those
- 4:57Speaker 4: sorts of things, And so it's made us start why
- 5:00Speaker 4: do we bother? Made us start down in ourselves?
- 5:03Speaker 2: Yeah, when you shouldn't, because I mean, we all, you know,
- 5:06Speaker 2: we all put bloody thrubbers out there, and sometimes we're
- 5:09Speaker 2: about hitt and miss fellows. That's what happens.
- 5:11Speaker 3: That's I mean, that's not trying. You don't care anymore,
- 5:17Speaker 3: so much so that I've got pugs just to go
- 5:19Speaker 3: through a few recent Throbbers and just put together a
- 5:21Speaker 3: few examples of you not even trying to pick a
- 5:23Speaker 3: song that gets your Friday off to a ripper.
- 5:25Speaker 2: I haven't played this band in a long Yeah, we
- 5:30Speaker 2: didn't used to we still do it stiff tones. Here
- 5:33Speaker 2: we go, No, Ma's got a great voice, then we go.
- 5:47Speaker 3: I mean that's pretty down. Buzz I hate his voice.
- 5:49Speaker 3: By the way, speaking of Jase, what was your song.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Just on that? Can I just correct you? The asy
- 5:55Speaker 2: Mitchell's song that you that he This.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Is things you just put the all blame off onto
- 6:01Speaker 3: someone else.
- 6:02Speaker 2: And it's an absolute banger. Come and get it by
- 6:06Speaker 2: a CDC. What have you got the over to Kings
- 6:12Speaker 2: of Leon or something like gods Up?
- 6:21Speaker 3: If this is the deftone song six tape, I'm gonna
- 6:23Speaker 3: be furious.
- 6:24Speaker 2: What is it? William Platt and find out A baby
- 6:33Speaker 2: We're back, Baby, We're back.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Bring us home, Jake, I want to bring you home.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Fellas here we got this is a tune you could
- 6:44Speaker 2: be happy. I won't, No, but you weren't.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Happy that day.
- 6:53Speaker 2: How are you talking? Some absolute bangers in there?
- 6:59Speaker 4: To be there's there's more things with a beat in
- 7:02Speaker 4: there then I was anticipating. There's been a hell of
- 7:04Speaker 4: a lot worse than that. You've ended up on the
- 7:06Speaker 4: schoolboard jas with a couple of asterisk asterisks, A small
- 7:11Speaker 4: d a disqualification.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Yes, he literally couldn't be bothered even trying to fit
- 7:15Speaker 3: the theme.
- 7:16Speaker 4: No, that's right, it's just And then there's other times
- 7:18Speaker 4: where you know, we started changing our behavior to adjust
- 7:21Speaker 4: for his keys. Right now, that was wrong, And this
- 7:23Speaker 4: often happens in an abusive relationships. Actually you change your
- 7:27Speaker 4: behavior so that you know you don't have to have
- 7:30Speaker 4: these confrontations. And we got the audience to actually sit
- 7:33Speaker 4: in the air throbbers and Jason was just picking one
- 7:36Speaker 4: out of the hat.
- 7:37Speaker 2: He's never heard of it before in his life.
- 7:40Speaker 4: So anyway, it's sort of gotten to the point now
- 7:42Speaker 4: where Jason, from what I can tell, is absolutely loving
- 7:47Speaker 4: taking the pass out of it, particularly because it stirs
- 7:50Speaker 4: up Keasy.
- 7:50Speaker 3: So I just I just care so much about the show.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Can I here, Can I have some kind of defense?
- 7:56Speaker 5: Heve?
- 7:56Speaker 2: If you can next right next time.
- 8:00Speaker 3: In the meantime, go to the Hdarky Big Show's Instagram
- 8:03Speaker 3: vote on the Big Pole. Let us know. You can
- 8:06Speaker 3: also text us three four eight three year opinions. Should
- 8:09Speaker 3: Jason banned from the Big Pole? You can call us
- 8:11Speaker 3: oh eight hundred hardarchy. There are a few l reboog
- 8:13Speaker 3: of vouchers.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Up for grabs, Oh cheers.
- 8:17Speaker 3: It's a great song, but it's not a throbber.
- 8:22Speaker 1: The Darky Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 8:25Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Hold aching.
- 8:28Speaker 2: We're staying on the Hodarchy Big Show this Thursday afternoon.
- 8:32Speaker 2: The time is four twenty eight.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Yeah, we're in the middle of the Big Pole, Big Pole.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Today's poll is an important one. Should Hoidy JB Band
- 8:46Speaker 3: from the Friday Throbber, which is an institution, It's a
- 8:48Speaker 3: It's a massive part of our show. It happens every Friday.
- 8:51Speaker 3: It has done since the beginning of our show. We
- 8:53Speaker 3: each picked a rock and song. You choose which one
- 8:55Speaker 3: you want to hear. And I'm just human, man, I'm
- 9:01Speaker 3: actually fuman. You've been taking the purse out of the
- 9:03Speaker 3: segment for the past few months. Listen to what people
- 9:06Speaker 3: are saying on three four eight three men dump him
- 9:10Speaker 3: sad face. Unfortunately, I think Jason needs punishment. That snow
- 9:16Speaker 3: Patrol song ruined my Friday and indeed my entire weekend.
- 9:24Speaker 3: I said this last week and I'll say it again.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Jay should be banned for at least the end of
- 9:28Speaker 3: the year. It makes my drive home miserable when J's
- 9:32Speaker 3: the shock and bastard doesn't take his job seriously. Docors
- 9:35Speaker 3: pay someone stuck in traffic on the way home, Jason,
- 9:39Speaker 3: Once your pay, doc Man, Hoyt's throbble will always be
- 9:43Speaker 3: inside me. Oh that's more of a positive ways from Brad.
- 9:50Speaker 3: You know, I could go on Jason, but obviously you'll
- 9:53Speaker 3: want a chance to defend yourself.
- 9:54Speaker 2: If I might go for it, go fellas. All I
- 9:59Speaker 2: want to say is I get it. And I just
- 10:03Speaker 2: want to say, and I want you both to hear this,
- 10:07Speaker 2: but you, especially Kesy, It's okay. What's okay?
- 10:11Speaker 4: Now, it's not It's.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Okay now listen. I will agree with you both. The
- 10:17Speaker 2: throbber is an institution in this show. Thank you. And
- 10:21Speaker 2: I think it's fair to say over the last little while,
- 10:24Speaker 2: we've been getting a bit of grief about it. All
- 10:26Speaker 2: of us have been getting a little bit of grief
- 10:28Speaker 2: about it. And I've seen I've seen the pressure cranker
- 10:35Speaker 2: exponentially every week, and you know, it's become a regular
- 10:40Speaker 2: thing now for me on a Friday afternoon to walk
- 10:42Speaker 2: in to the office and see Kesy pacing back and forth, fretting, fretting,
- 10:48Speaker 2: about what he wants to choose as a throbber and
- 10:54Speaker 2: just freaking out about it because he's like, this is
- 10:56Speaker 2: going downhill, so bad, so bad. And I don't want
- 11:01Speaker 2: to say this, but I think it's worth saying that
- 11:05Speaker 2: this is a classic case of deflection where one zone
- 11:12Speaker 2: struggles are being exacerbated. So what do you do? You
- 11:15Speaker 2: turn the focus on another bastard? You turn I can't
- 11:23Speaker 2: tell you, wait, I can't tell you, Mogi, how many
- 11:28Speaker 2: times Keezy has issued me with an asterisk before I've
- 11:32Speaker 2: even played my song. Now, look as I say, it's okay,
- 11:40Speaker 2: take a couple of deep breaths, and I'm very confident, quietly,
- 11:44Speaker 2: quietly confident that the audience has my back on this,
- 11:48Speaker 2: because I think that you've both become so delusional, You've
- 11:54Speaker 2: both become so untethered from reality that you don't actually
- 11:58Speaker 2: realize there's a lot of peopeople.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Out there that love the Hoody Jay cheans absolutely well.
- 12:03Speaker 4: I think this and this is the thing, right, it's
- 12:05Speaker 4: very it's hard for us to get perspective, Yes, hard
- 12:08Speaker 4: for us, because we're.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Right in the eye of the storm here. Absolutely so.
- 12:12Speaker 4: It may well be because our love for the throb
- 12:14Speaker 4: of the fact that it is an institution. Maybe maybe
- 12:17Speaker 4: it is on us, Maybe we're the ones that have
- 12:19Speaker 4: got it wrong, Keysy. But that's the beauty of the
- 12:22Speaker 4: big pole. Sure the people will decide totally.
- 12:27Speaker 2: And I mean, I don't want to say that the
- 12:29Speaker 2: pressure is clouding your judgment.
- 12:32Speaker 4: Is this.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Like it might be the aslet that you've been clouded?
- 12:39Speaker 2: Here I could see every Friday.
- 12:42Speaker 3: This is what it sounds like to be Gaslet.
- 12:44Speaker 6: You're so good at.
- 12:45Speaker 2: It, and I yeah, you're right. I just say it's
- 12:49Speaker 2: a little sideline too when I come in on a Friday,
- 12:52Speaker 2: because I always send my my my trouble thread Pugs.
- 12:56Speaker 2: You know, so he's got time to work to weekend
- 13:00Speaker 2: every Friday without fail. Pug says the high five again, hod.
- 13:05Speaker 3: J just quickly.
- 13:07Speaker 2: You might not win every Throbber, but boy, I've had
- 13:10Speaker 2: my fierce shit.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Well that's good, Jason. We do someone on the line,
- 13:13Speaker 3: Tristan right now, who has a message for Hoidy j
- 13:15Speaker 3: What is that message? Tristan?
- 13:17Speaker 7: Hey, howdy, I just want to give you a big,
- 13:20Speaker 7: big kiak for tomorrow.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Mate, Thank you mate.
- 13:24Speaker 7: I've been noticing the Keysy aka smash about nickelback. He's
- 13:30Speaker 7: been haranging you in mate. I just want to know,
- 13:33Speaker 7: are you okay? Keysye? Work place bullies not cool?
- 13:38Speaker 3: Okay, So we've done here is we've put another gas
- 13:40Speaker 3: lighter on the just as bad as however, you do
- 13:48Speaker 3: get a rebig about man did you pay that guy?
- 13:53Speaker 2: I have never heard of him. He's a back.
- 13:58Speaker 4: And this is this is an interesting thing as well,
- 14:00Speaker 4: isn't it? Because you could say that, you could say,
- 14:02Speaker 4: you know and this you know, smash mouse. Certainly there's
- 14:06Speaker 4: been some shockers, Kezy and you know, taste is in
- 14:10Speaker 4: the eye of the beholder. But is a throbber in
- 14:12Speaker 4: the eye of the beholder?
- 14:13Speaker 3: Is it?
- 14:14Speaker 2: Is it?
- 14:15Speaker 3: What even is a throbber? You can vote the Hidarky
- 14:19Speaker 3: Big Show on the Instagram story. This will be the
- 14:21Speaker 3: sort of be all and end or we'll have a
- 14:23Speaker 3: look at it later on the show. And if people
- 14:25Speaker 3: have voted in favor of Jase being banned, you will
- 14:27Speaker 3: be banned from the Throbber tomorrow.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Well, you know, the people have their say, then so
- 14:32Speaker 2: be it.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Keezy the whole Actual Big Show with Jace, Mike and
- 14:35Speaker 1: Kezy tune in week days at four on Radio.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Hoddxi's there on the Darchy Big Show this Thursday afternoon.
- 14:44Speaker 2: The time is four point fifty three. Let's talk Telly.
- 14:49Speaker 2: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue. Yeah, that's right.
- 14:58Speaker 4: Last night, Fellows, I went to a screening on Settling,
- 15:02Speaker 4: created by Hannah Marshall and Packs of Sadi. They're going
- 15:05Speaker 4: to come in for a yarn later on. It's a
- 15:07Speaker 4: story of two high school friends who make a pact
- 15:11Speaker 4: that if they're not buried when they turn thirty five,
- 15:13Speaker 4: that they'll marry each other.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Cut to via thirty five. Their lives are falling apart.
- 15:19Speaker 4: They've lost starts with their lives are falling apart in
- 15:21Speaker 4: different ways, and they run into each other at a
- 15:23Speaker 4: high school reunion and they decide to go ahead with it.
- 15:27Speaker 4: So Hannah Marshall and Packs have created it. It's also
- 15:30Speaker 4: got a friend of the show Bueller Kalett, isn't it
- 15:33Speaker 4: Jennifer Ward Leland, Michael Hurst.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Yes, the cast is really good. But better than that,
- 15:37Speaker 2: it's actually funny. Ah, thank god.
- 15:41Speaker 4: It really is funny. It looks great. The casting is
- 15:45Speaker 4: really good, the writing's really good. I really really recommend it.
- 15:49Speaker 4: Four busies at Premier tonight on three and three now
- 15:51Speaker 4: at eight thirty. You could probably sneak a look on
- 15:53Speaker 4: three now whenever you want. It's already there. Definitely recommend
- 15:57Speaker 4: good stuff.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Sat settling give it a check out tonight. I couldn't
- 16:02Speaker 2: settle on anything last night. So I do what I
- 16:05Speaker 2: call the Samsung switcheroo, which is where I just go
- 16:10Speaker 2: through all the movie channels and what.
- 16:12Speaker 4: Can I just stop you there, Joe?
- 16:14Speaker 3: Do you do you do you ask your wife?
- 16:15Speaker 4: Do you turn to her and do you say, shall
- 16:18Speaker 4: we do the old Samsung switcheroo?
- 16:21Speaker 2: I do. Indeed, maybe she goes you bet you hoidy J.
- 16:26Speaker 4: She does not call you hordy J.
- 16:29Speaker 2: And so what that entails says I literally go through
- 16:32Speaker 2: all the movie channels and watch little snippets from each
- 16:34Speaker 2: movie and just on a constant rotate four and a
- 16:38Speaker 2: half buzzies out of five. The Samsung switcheroo.
- 16:42Speaker 3: It's funny because you plug the arse out of Samsung TV,
- 16:45Speaker 3: which is like a free digital service that you get
- 16:49Speaker 3: if your own a stamps. Yeah, I feel you should
- 16:51Speaker 3: be getting paid by them.
- 16:52Speaker 4: I should be a kind of phone you're running.
- 16:56Speaker 2: If anyone from Samsung is listening, give old Hoidy j
- 17:00Speaker 2: a bit of a.
- 17:01Speaker 4: Samsung works lives around the corner from me.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Does he?
- 17:07Speaker 3: I thought he lived in South Korea? No, No, that's
- 17:10Speaker 3: what why because that's where Samsung's from.
- 17:14Speaker 4: He's been moving here for he's been living.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Here for years. What's his first name?
- 17:18Speaker 2: All right?
- 17:19Speaker 4: Well, as a sign of respect kesey in the South
- 17:21Speaker 4: Korean culture, I just referred on his blister.
- 17:24Speaker 2: He's an elder, so is he? Yeah? I couldn't tell you.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Yeah right, I thought a woman ran the company.
- 17:29Speaker 4: Did you what's your name?
- 17:30Speaker 3: I don't know, missus Samsung, I've got no idea.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Did you watch Key?
- 17:37Speaker 3: What did I watched last.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Night as you were hung Yeah?
- 17:41Speaker 3: Oh that's right. And we went on to tv Z
- 17:43Speaker 3: Plus and saw that there is a third season of
- 17:46Speaker 3: a great little Australian sitcom, Yes, which is brilliant. So
- 17:51Speaker 3: we watched the first episode of that. It was great.
- 17:53Speaker 3: It's like a love story thing and this picks up
- 17:56Speaker 3: three years later from the second season. It involves I
- 18:00Speaker 3: can't remember that the actor and the actress that the
- 18:02Speaker 3: real life husband and wife. They wrote the show together
- 18:04Speaker 3: and they star as the main two. That's really great.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Yeh half an hour of really great Aussie humor and
- 18:10Speaker 3: four busies out of five teams in plus Colin from accounts.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Great stuff mate. Now coming up after five o'clock, a
- 18:17Speaker 2: bit of controversy with old Jetstar and as Mog you
- 18:20Speaker 2: just mentioned, we're going to be having the Stars of Settling,
- 18:25Speaker 2: that is Paksasati and Hannah Marshall. After five o'clock.
- 18:30Speaker 1: The whole Ching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio hod Ikey.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Welcome back your messive backbones. Hope your Thursday's going along
- 18:39Speaker 2: very nicely. Indeed you are listening to the Big Show
- 18:43Speaker 2: brought to you by Reboog.
- 18:44Speaker 3: You crave worthy street food freshly made with Reburger.
- 18:52Speaker 2: How you do it? Yeah? Did you end up getting
- 18:54Speaker 2: Reburger last night? Because you were thinking about it? Because
- 18:58Speaker 2: you were very hungover and you were I need some
- 19:00Speaker 2: rebook at you now.
- 19:01Speaker 3: My wife, I love Dearly Love Sue on a Sunday
- 19:04Speaker 3: plan the entire week's menu right, which is really nice.
- 19:07Speaker 3: And so yesterday I was so hungover that all I
- 19:11Speaker 3: felt like was some Reburger And I text her and
- 19:13Speaker 3: I said, hey, I'm pretty sure. I remember you saying
- 19:15Speaker 3: we were having rebururger tonight, and then she said, I
- 19:18Speaker 3: forgot to get the meat out of the freezer, so yeah,
- 19:24Speaker 3: go ahead have reburgo.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Ah, go ahead.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Yes, I had rebug it and I was stoked.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Did she not have it? Was she?
- 19:31Speaker 3: I ended up? She said no, I'm okay, and then
- 19:32Speaker 3: I brought her home so manywhere that she had it.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Well, you can't help it once it's there. Feelings tucking
- 19:37Speaker 2: in enough. My wife is out just temporarily tonight, and
- 19:41Speaker 2: so she was like, what are you gonna have dinner?
- 19:43Speaker 2: And I said, know ye yet.
- 19:46Speaker 4: Definitely one thing he's not that hates it.
- 19:52Speaker 3: You were saying, you Jo, how was I'll wear the hat?
- 19:56Speaker 2: But no, I love me read bigger. Yeah, that's good stuff.
- 20:02Speaker 3: True story. Mogi Jay said to me today on the
- 20:04Speaker 3: way in, I had to stop myself from getting a
- 20:06Speaker 3: hot pot for lunch today.
- 20:08Speaker 2: I did and I did myself. Well done, man, Thank you.
- 20:11Speaker 2: We'll just run down. But then my wife's away tonight.
- 20:14Speaker 4: So what does that mean? It means that means nothing,
- 20:17Speaker 4: but you should be able to. All you have to
- 20:19Speaker 4: do is if you can get through this weekend, Jay,
- 20:20Speaker 4: she'll be home and hose. Brother, Oh, home and hose.
- 20:24Speaker 2: It was a long way away your chances. You know
- 20:27Speaker 2: what I'm saying.
- 20:27Speaker 3: Wait, so your wife's away, what are you having?
- 20:30Speaker 2: I'm not sure yet.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Do you have a hot pot?
- 20:33Speaker 4: Wife?
- 20:33Speaker 2: Gone? No, she's not away for the night, just briefly
- 20:36Speaker 2: during dinner time. So I'm just She said, well, you
- 20:40Speaker 2: get whatever you want, and I was like, yeah, okay,
- 20:42Speaker 2: so what are you going to get hot? We'll see
- 20:44Speaker 2: how we go because before.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Literally like a minute ago, you said you have reburger.
- 20:47Speaker 2: We'll see how we goes.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Green Day, Yeah, I think so the whole I keep
- 20:53Speaker 1: Big Show with Jas, Mike and Keyzy. Tune in week
- 20:56Speaker 1: days and four on radio.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Hold I Lincoln Park there on the Hodaki Big Show
- 21:01Speaker 2: this Thursday afternoon. The time is twelve minutes past five o'clock.
- 21:08Speaker 4: This is breaking news, fellows, have got a big one
- 21:13Speaker 4: here for you, very big news. JETSTA has changed its
- 21:18Speaker 4: rules and will now be charging for carry on luggage. Yeah,
- 21:24Speaker 4: they're both domestically and internationally. How much you regn you
- 21:28Speaker 4: pay Fordy Joe, well, both of you to take a
- 21:31Speaker 4: little bag on there and put it in the overhead lockers,
- 21:34Speaker 4: which will otherwise sit empty. Either're there anyway, Yes, they're
- 21:37Speaker 4: there anyway. How much would you pay for the privilege?
- 21:42Speaker 4: Twenty backs?
- 21:43Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I'm assuming it's twenty twenty bucks.
- 21:47Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, thirty bucksy backs for these which is a
- 21:50Speaker 4: bag And.
- 21:51Speaker 3: The good thing about that, which is really smart, is
- 21:53Speaker 3: no one flies and doesn't take a bag with them.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:56Speaker 4: This idea that you uncouple all the different services. Yes,
- 21:59Speaker 4: seat selection and food and carry on bag. No one
- 22:03Speaker 4: is just turning up on a plane and the clothes
- 22:05Speaker 4: that they wear.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Yeah, so as someone and Jason, you wouldn't You've never
- 22:09Speaker 3: been to Europe, right, So Ryan Air for example, on
- 22:13Speaker 3: the discount airlines over there, they make it so if
- 22:16Speaker 3: you want to be able to talk to someone and
- 22:18Speaker 3: check in physically and not do it on your phone,
- 22:20Speaker 3: that you have to pay extra for that. And they
- 22:23Speaker 3: do the carry on as well. You have to pay
- 22:26Speaker 3: not only for carry on that you have to pay
- 22:28Speaker 3: extra on top of that if you want to put
- 22:29Speaker 3: it above you otherwise you have to have it under
- 22:31Speaker 3: the seat and firsture. And so it's just outrageous.
- 22:34Speaker 2: I think Jetstar has got a bloody check thank you
- 22:38Speaker 2: asking for that. Of all the airlines, come on I mean,
- 22:43Speaker 2: having said that, I'll often see people going on to
- 22:46Speaker 2: a plane, not necessarily Jetstar and just taking that past
- 22:50Speaker 2: a little bit in terms of carrying.
- 22:51Speaker 3: But they're super strict on it. They weigh and make
- 22:54Speaker 3: it jets.
- 22:55Speaker 4: Yes, so well they had it actually recently I think
- 22:58Speaker 4: at the well into the airport where people were fuming
- 23:00Speaker 4: because I haven't getten charged because the seven kilo bag
- 23:04Speaker 4: was over the seven kilos. Yes, it ended up being
- 23:07Speaker 4: on the news and they had to replace the scales
- 23:11Speaker 4: because the scales were broken and were overs.
- 23:17Speaker 2: It's too bad.
- 23:19Speaker 4: But for international flights that charge goes up, I don't
- 23:23Speaker 4: know why, to sixty three dollars.
- 23:27Speaker 3: And the great thing about that is abb like, it's
- 23:29Speaker 3: very unlikely that you're traveling domestically without a bag, but
- 23:33Speaker 3: it is pretty much never going to happen that you're
- 23:35Speaker 3: traveling internationally without a.
- 23:36Speaker 4: Bag one hundred percent, unless you're an inmate, unless you're
- 23:40Speaker 4: con air and you've been handcuffed. She's got to buy police. Yes, yes,
- 23:44Speaker 4: so it's an interesting one. I mean, the defense is
- 23:46Speaker 4: that this is how it works over and you know,
- 23:48Speaker 4: Europe and in the US and all those sorts of things.
- 23:52Speaker 4: But the difference is there really is only Jetstar as
- 23:55Speaker 4: a low cost carrier, do you know what I mean?
- 23:58Speaker 4: In those other countries in Europe, there's there's five or
- 24:01Speaker 4: ten or with each other, so they're trying to find
- 24:04Speaker 4: different ways to compete, whereas here they're competing with themselves. Yeah,
- 24:07Speaker 4: but anyway, people will still go because I'll tell you what,
- 24:10Speaker 4: when you are on a short not notice flight and
- 24:13Speaker 4: you go to jet Star and you compare it with
- 24:15Speaker 4: a competition, they are still insanely cheap campared to what
- 24:19Speaker 4: what others offer.
- 24:20Speaker 3: With the carry on, most of the time they will
- 24:22Speaker 3: still be slightly cheaper. But if you're in a position
- 24:25Speaker 3: where you know, like I don't want to travel Jetstar
- 24:28Speaker 3: because the fact that they are charging me for carry on,
- 24:30Speaker 3: oh that just grinds my gears so much.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:33Speaker 4: But also there's another fee here. You can pay seventy
- 24:35Speaker 4: five dollars you get to have a turn flying it.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Oh how good, It's not bad. I'd be into there.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Yeah, oh that's not too bad. Three four three What
- 24:44Speaker 3: are your thoughts on that?
- 24:45Speaker 4: For us?
- 24:45Speaker 3: Text every text and the drawer for a fifty reburg
- 24:47Speaker 3: about you can also call us oh eight hundred hardaking.
- 24:50Speaker 3: May we sound like bloody shocking something?
- 24:53Speaker 2: Yeah, we do, that's right, he's blank one A two.
- 24:58Speaker 1: The Hurarchy Big Show was Mike and Keezy tune in
- 25:01Speaker 1: four on.

- 25:27Speaker 3: the word goats to three four eight three. We'll send

- 25:37Speaker 4: We've been through a lot of nicknames on the Big
- 25:39Speaker 4: Show with all out our fsue, some probably more than others.
- 25:42Speaker 4: But Edmund Boy used to be yours Keezy. Do you
- 25:44Speaker 4: remember that one?
- 25:45Speaker 2: Yeah? Sure do?
- 25:48Speaker 3: What are your three goats jays?
- 25:51Speaker 2: Now? It's controversy, isn't it? Because I'm under fire here
- 25:55Speaker 2: with my musical tool mate.
- 25:56Speaker 4: This is this is completely except but this is your
- 25:59Speaker 4: own taste now suitable for hedache. You will find that, Yeah,
- 26:03Speaker 4: we will find out.
- 26:04Speaker 2: And pugsn he was putting them together for me just before,
- 26:08Speaker 2: and he was shaking his head. He was just going, nah, man.
- 26:13Speaker 3: I can see the ones you've chosen, and I think
- 26:16Speaker 3: you know those are good chunes.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, you're good. This this is a tune that
- 26:22Speaker 2: I've always enjoyed. It's just a great tune. Bit of kimbra.
- 26:32Speaker 4: Can I just say absolute?
- 26:35Speaker 2: It is a tune.
- 26:38Speaker 4: There's a lot of there's a lot of videos doing
- 26:41Speaker 4: the circle or there were a couple of months ago
- 26:42Speaker 4: of massive parties with people singing their heads after this,
- 26:47Speaker 4: like a thousand people in a very tight space. Yes,
- 26:50Speaker 4: it gives it. It gives a song a whole new life.
- 26:53Speaker 4: I love that song, so do I. I mean, we
- 26:54Speaker 4: don't play it on We never ever would You don't ever?
- 26:58Speaker 4: Never do you think that our listeners would like that tune?
- 27:02Speaker 2: I reckon they would maybe ja Yeah, I mean we'll
- 27:05Speaker 2: never know because it never gets I do recall it
- 27:08Speaker 2: was played on here at one stage totally was was it. Now,
- 27:12Speaker 2: this tune is for me, I feel good tune. It
- 27:18Speaker 2: puts a bit of it, puts a bit of swish
- 27:21Speaker 2: in your tush, gives you a bit of a skipping
- 27:24Speaker 2: and jump Doobie Brothers.
- 27:38Speaker 3: It isn't all time of that song that is long
- 27:44Speaker 3: train running.
- 27:44Speaker 4: I'm actually disappointed at how much if it you've put in.
- 27:47Speaker 4: Jason's quite a lot of effort put in. You, thanks man,
- 27:50Speaker 4: because he doesn't like either of those songs. I love
- 27:53Speaker 4: both of those songs. Now this one, now, I will
- 27:57Speaker 4: get jip for this. But he's the man, He's the reverend.
- 28:00Speaker 2: He's the sort of guy that I listened to on
- 28:01Speaker 2: a rainy winter's Sunday afternoon. I'm talking about the great
- 28:06Speaker 2: man himself, Nick Cave into my.
- 28:16Speaker 8: Lord into I want to throw let's an absolute tune.
- 28:28Speaker 2: He's such a great man, Nick Cave. He is. He's
- 28:31Speaker 2: a horrible life.
- 28:32Speaker 4: Yeah, he really is one of the one of the
- 28:34Speaker 4: worst lives.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Because I do believe his father actually was a right yes, right,
- 28:41Speaker 2: And he's a fiercely intelligent man and also massive addiction issues.
- 28:46Speaker 2: But and just here some tragic stuff happening in his life.
- 28:51Speaker 4: Pretty enus. One of the great things about him. One
- 28:54Speaker 4: of you know, I've never been a big fan. I've
- 28:56Speaker 4: never listened to albums or anything like that of Nick Cave's,
- 28:59Speaker 4: but I'm sort of a big fan of who he
- 29:02Speaker 4: is as a person. I've I always found it a
- 29:04Speaker 4: bit depressing the music, yes, but I've come to like
- 29:07Speaker 4: it more and more as I've gotten older. But even
- 29:11Speaker 4: during his years have been addicted, severely addicted to heroin
- 29:15Speaker 4: in the in the late seventies and eighties, he would
- 29:17Speaker 4: get up every day and he would sit at a
- 29:19Speaker 4: desk and he would write from nine till five.
- 29:20Speaker 2: He treated it like a job.
- 29:22Speaker 4: Yes, So he took his art seriously, and that's always
- 29:27Speaker 4: been something that I've really admired about him. A really tragic,
- 29:29Speaker 4: tragic life. Yes, lost lost two of his sons. And
- 29:33Speaker 4: I saw him at a speaking event down in Wellington
- 29:36Speaker 4: where he played music and also answered questions from from
- 29:39Speaker 4: the audience. And I was sitting there thinking it was
- 29:42Speaker 4: tragically lost, you know, without going into too much detail,
- 29:45Speaker 4: and it was very, very recent, and I was sitting
- 29:47Speaker 4: there thinking, please please nobody ask him about his sons,
- 29:51Speaker 4: you know. Yes, we're at that stage as one son,
- 29:54Speaker 4: and of course the person sitting right next to my
- 29:56Speaker 4: wife stood up and that was the very first question
- 30:00Speaker 4: I asked. And I was just absolutely mortified. And he
- 30:02Speaker 4: handled it with absolute grace. Yeah, intense understanding and heart
- 30:11Speaker 4: and you know what a tragedy to have have had
- 30:14Speaker 4: happened to him, and he was just he was incredible
- 30:17Speaker 4: about it. So he was sharing in his grief and
- 30:20Speaker 4: also in the way that he handled it. He's an
- 30:21Speaker 4: amazing human being musician. He is never I've not listened
- 30:25Speaker 4: to a lot of them either. So he the one
- 30:27Speaker 4: who's like brother or something sleeps upside down?
- 30:30Speaker 3: Is that right?
- 30:34Speaker 2: Not that I recall, Oh.
- 30:36Speaker 3: Bat Cave, I'm thinking of a different guy. He don't forget.
- 30:47Speaker 3: Vote on the go Tigs go to three four eight three.
- 30:50Speaker 3: We're going to rip it in a couple of weeks.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Time The hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and
- 30:55Speaker 1: Kyzy tune in week days at four on Radio Holds.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Indeed, We's are there on the hold Key Big Show.
- 31:00Speaker 2: This glorious Thursday Afternoon. A special treats some very special
- 31:05Speaker 2: guests on the show with us today Paksasadi and Hannah
- 31:08Speaker 2: Marshall Tonight in fact tonight in fact releasing the new
- 31:15Speaker 2: show Settled. How are you.
- 31:22Speaker 6: Time I come in to talk to you?
- 31:24Speaker 2: Guys?
- 31:24Speaker 6: You yell at me, yell.
- 31:29Speaker 3: It's so exciting to see you.
- 31:30Speaker 5: I think.
- 31:32Speaker 2: I'm very excited to seek It is very exciting news. So, fellows,
- 31:36Speaker 2: how are you feeling about It's always a bit nerve
- 31:38Speaker 2: wracking when your show's about to go and be shown
- 31:41Speaker 2: to the general public.
- 31:42Speaker 6: How do you feel about it, Hannah?
- 31:43Speaker 5: I mean, I feel a little bit nervous, but I
- 31:46Speaker 5: am excited, like I'm really proud of the show.
- 31:49Speaker 9: I'm very proud of it too. I have an unearned
- 31:52Speaker 9: confidence about everything I.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Do, and it makes me feel more confident.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Well, can I just say this, Old Mogi's had a
- 31:59Speaker 2: bit of a preview. Yes, he's seen a couple of
- 32:01Speaker 2: episodes and he won't shut up about it. He's been
- 32:05Speaker 2: what hilarical for hour after hour after hour? He loved it,
- 32:10Speaker 2: and I did.
- 32:11Speaker 4: But before we get into my opinion of it one
- 32:14Speaker 4: way or the other, why don't you tell us what
- 32:15Speaker 4: it's about?
- 32:18Speaker 6: Hannah?
- 32:18Speaker 5: Oh God, Okay. It's about two friends, one called Harry
- 32:21Speaker 5: Harriet my character and sal sealman Packs's character, who were
- 32:25Speaker 5: friends in high school. Then they kind of and they
- 32:28Speaker 5: drift apart. But they make a pact when they're like
- 32:29Speaker 5: fifteen years old, if they're not married by the time
- 32:31Speaker 5: they're thirty five, they will marry each other, a pact
- 32:34Speaker 5: that I have done. I'm sure many of us have.
- 32:37Speaker 3: I've done it, having like a backup plan.
- 32:39Speaker 6: Yeah, where is that person right now?
- 32:41Speaker 3: I haven't seen them in fifteen years?
- 32:43Speaker 2: Right?
- 32:43Speaker 9: Really?
- 32:44Speaker 2: What year was it that you were going to marry that?
- 32:45Speaker 3: It was popular year thirteen?
- 32:48Speaker 4: How old were you going to be when you said
- 32:50Speaker 4: if we get to what age?
- 32:51Speaker 3: I think it was forty?
- 32:53Speaker 2: Yeah, and you still have regrets? Say, keasy, well not really, I've.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Got five years.
- 32:57Speaker 6: So yeah, are you in a committed relation married?
- 33:01Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 33:01Speaker 6: Are you willing to burn that bridge to.
- 33:04Speaker 3: At this stage it's all g Yeah, who knows? You're
- 33:09Speaker 3: married for three years, given.
- 33:11Speaker 9: Another three given another three or four years years.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Yeah. So they make a pack with each other that
- 33:18Speaker 2: if we're not with anyone by the time we're forty,
- 33:21Speaker 2: we're going.
- 33:22Speaker 5: To get We're going to get together, and then we
- 33:26Speaker 5: life happens, we drift apart, and then we reconnected a
- 33:28Speaker 5: high school reunion, and our lives are both love lives
- 33:33Speaker 5: are kind of imploded in different ways, ins in tatters,
- 33:36Speaker 5: and we decided to make good on the packs because
- 33:38Speaker 5: we're like, why not.
- 33:38Speaker 3: It is an interesting thing. We've got actors packs of
- 33:42Speaker 3: Sati had a marshall here with the new show Settled.
- 33:44Speaker 3: Are Settling starts tonight on three.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Inead come on.
- 33:52Speaker 3: But it's an interesting thing, right you say, oh, where
- 33:55Speaker 3: is that person that you had that get packed with?
- 33:57Speaker 3: You know, throughout your life you always go, I wonder
- 33:58Speaker 3: what happened to this person? All that person I had
- 34:00Speaker 3: a crush on high school? Wonder they are at now?
- 34:02Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 34:02Speaker 4: It is a really good one and sort of, you know,
- 34:05Speaker 4: similarly similar to your character in this pack, you sort
- 34:09Speaker 4: of you're a little bit dye because it starts with
- 34:11Speaker 4: the flashback and you're a little bit di eyed for
- 34:15Speaker 4: Hannah's character. And that was kind of the way it
- 34:17Speaker 4: was for me when I made a similar pack that
- 34:19Speaker 4: it was just sort of to get her tried to
- 34:21Speaker 4: start thinking about me as a possibility. I was absolutely desperate.
- 34:25Speaker 4: But then when the thirty years came around and it
- 34:29Speaker 4: was like what do we do, It's like, no, I'm
- 34:31Speaker 4: makes you quite happy with my life. Now I'm just
- 34:33Speaker 4: going to leave it.
- 34:34Speaker 3: I remember it, so I.
- 34:35Speaker 4: Rejected her to get Did that feel good?
- 34:38Speaker 2: No? Can I ask in the backstory, if it's not
- 34:41Speaker 2: getting too much away when you were teenagers in the
- 34:44Speaker 2: back story story world of real life story world, was
- 34:48Speaker 2: there a simmering passion? Was there a simmering tension between.
- 34:52Speaker 9: Your two characters interesting? I think on my character's part
- 34:57Speaker 9: a bit more. Yes, but I think but it's always
- 35:02Speaker 9: way more key. But I think it was mutual to
- 35:06Speaker 9: a degree for both sides.
- 35:08Speaker 2: Yes, definitely.
- 35:09Speaker 5: They're like best friends. And we talked a lot about
- 35:12Speaker 5: this with the backstory of those two, like what they're like,
- 35:15Speaker 5: how savvy they were with like Harry, you know, no
- 35:18Speaker 5: guys liked her in high school aka me, and you know,
- 35:21Speaker 5: it was like drawing on that kind of thing. So
- 35:23Speaker 5: this was her best friend.
- 35:24Speaker 6: It wasn't like we've.
- 35:25Speaker 9: Drawn a lot from real life as well. In real
- 35:27Speaker 9: life we were also both said said loaners.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Can I just say that there is a moment and
- 35:32Speaker 2: we'll go to a song and we'll go.
- 35:35Speaker 4: But there is there's a moment in that flashback, and
- 35:39Speaker 4: it's quite early on in the fist episode, and it
- 35:41Speaker 4: made me think, this shows for me you were die
- 35:44Speaker 4: wide here and your your character was for the local
- 35:47Speaker 4: you know, for the local stud or.
- 35:50Speaker 2: Any sort of sea.
- 35:50Speaker 4: Gooday to you, Pex and to you, he said, I
- 35:52Speaker 4: think something along the lines of get a rangerer and
- 35:58Speaker 4: is right down down my alleyway when it comes to
- 36:01Speaker 4: sense of humor.
- 36:01Speaker 2: I love that.
- 36:02Speaker 9: That one took a lot of takes as well to
- 36:05Speaker 9: get right. We just wanted the cadence right. Yes, he
- 36:08Speaker 9: was giving us rang a and we wanted ranger because.
- 36:11Speaker 5: That's a real trigger. As I read it, that was
- 36:13Speaker 5: and we put it was like, no, I know this life, Yes,
- 36:15Speaker 5: this is this sounds appropriately hurtful.
- 36:18Speaker 3: Yeah, should we go to a tune? Guys're so keasy,
- 36:21Speaker 3: We'll go to the Black Keys, Gold on the Ceiling
- 36:24Speaker 3: and we'll come back with more packs than Hannah.
- 36:25Speaker 1: After that, the Hierarchy Big show was Jason, Mike and
- 36:28Speaker 1: Kezy tune in four.
- 36:31Speaker 2: On Radio the Black Keys. There on the Hadarki Big
- 36:34Speaker 2: Show this Thursday evening, we have actors Paksasati and Hannah
- 36:38Speaker 2: Marshall who have just released their news show Settling, coming
- 36:44Speaker 2: out tonight on three Now. Now. The premise of the
- 36:47Speaker 2: story is pretty much two mates at high school who
- 36:50Speaker 2: make a pact with each other that if they're not
- 36:52Speaker 2: with anyone by the time they're thirty five, then they
- 36:55Speaker 2: get together.
- 36:56Speaker 6: Yes, that's one hundred percent right, great idea for a story.
- 36:59Speaker 2: What I'm fascinating about that because I got four daughters.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and yes I do. Yeah, I know that.
- 37:07Speaker 2: How old thirty twenty nine, twenty seven, and eighteen. My wow,
- 37:13Speaker 2: But oh yeah, I'm intrigued by that.
- 37:17Speaker 6: Sounds like a fun show.
- 37:18Speaker 2: You know, because the pressures of society, you know what
- 37:22Speaker 2: I mean, that element of it. You know, this age,
- 37:25Speaker 2: by god, you should be doing this, by now, you
- 37:27Speaker 2: should have kids, you should be married, all that kind
- 37:30Speaker 2: of pressure. Totally.
- 37:31Speaker 9: I think that was a core driving like story element
- 37:34Speaker 9: as well as that both characters felt the sense of
- 37:36Speaker 9: pressure in their own ways. Like Harriet's character, there's a
- 37:39Speaker 9: lot of like stigma on women that are not shocked
- 37:42Speaker 9: up by a certain age. You start making assumptions around, like, well,
- 37:45Speaker 9: what's wrong with her like blah blah blah. As as
- 37:47Speaker 9: a Pakistani man, you know, all the assumptions around, like
- 37:51Speaker 9: you know, disgrace to the family and all that kind
- 37:53Speaker 9: of stuff. So yeah, those kind of pressures were definitely
- 37:56Speaker 9: driving for them.
- 37:56Speaker 5: Further to that, like we talked about the financial pressures
- 37:59Speaker 5: of being on your own, like how you afford like
- 38:02Speaker 5: to buy a house. Buying one on your own.
- 38:04Speaker 6: Is so hard.
- 38:05Speaker 5: Like we're still sort of like as a society geared
- 38:07Speaker 5: towards couple them and like particularly like I lived overseas
- 38:11Speaker 5: for a bit and then coming home, it was like
- 38:13Speaker 5: so many people are married and kids and if you
- 38:15Speaker 5: don't have that at a certain age, you're sort of
- 38:17Speaker 5: like d away. Yeah, you can kind of feel a
- 38:19Speaker 5: bit lost, like you know, finding your your people.
- 38:21Speaker 3: Just Confirming Settling, which comes out to not eight thirty
- 38:24Speaker 3: on three and is available on three now. It's comedy.
- 38:27Speaker 9: Oh yeah, yes, yeah, it's too many jokes.
- 38:30Speaker 4: Yeah, wow, I thought the right amount of jokes. I
- 38:34Speaker 4: came along and saw it last night, the first two episodes,
- 38:36Speaker 4: and what a relief. What a relief, because you can
- 38:39Speaker 4: go along and see things and they're terrible and you
- 38:42Speaker 4: just have to leave.
- 38:43Speaker 9: Yeah, you do have to be first out to do it,
- 38:46Speaker 9: and you've got to smile and just get out as
- 38:47Speaker 9: quickly as possible.
- 38:48Speaker 4: Gotta lie, you gotta lie. And also it's really hard
- 38:51Speaker 4: to do pilots. We were talking about this last night.
- 38:54Speaker 4: That is probably the hardest thing. We talk about it
- 38:56Speaker 4: quite a lot on the show, because you've got to
- 38:58Speaker 4: you're trying to gem and all the information about who
- 39:01Speaker 4: everybody is and where they're coming from and all that
- 39:03Speaker 4: sort of stuff, and oftentimes it just feels like you've
- 39:05Speaker 4: been given information but it's not being told in any
- 39:07Speaker 4: kind of entertaining way.
- 39:09Speaker 2: But there was.
- 39:10Speaker 4: It's a really funny show, and I think a big
- 39:12Speaker 4: part of it obviously is the writing and you guys's cast,
- 39:15Speaker 4: but that's a supporting cast is out the gate as well.
- 39:18Speaker 4: Tell us about who else? Who else you've got?
- 39:20Speaker 9: Oh my god, we've got We've got a supporting cast
- 39:22Speaker 9: that we did not expect to get when we were
- 39:24Speaker 9: writing the show.
- 39:25Speaker 5: Yeah, like, so Buller.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Show show.
- 39:31Speaker 6: So plays my character's best friend.
- 39:34Speaker 5: My husband, David Delatore, my love interest, bad love interest
- 39:39Speaker 5: pretty well?
- 39:39Speaker 2: Can I can?
- 39:40Speaker 4: I just say there was a brief moment where there's
- 39:42Speaker 4: Chad about old Mogie myself playing that role. Yes, and
- 39:45Speaker 4: then and then and then I saw the show and
- 39:48Speaker 4: I thought, oh no, no, nobody does this kind of
- 39:51Speaker 4: sleeves or quite like David.
- 39:54Speaker 2: So I was actually quite relieved to get it because
- 39:55Speaker 2: he nailed it.
- 39:57Speaker 5: Didn't believe he could nail it.
- 40:00Speaker 9: You playing golf together before we cast him, and he
- 40:03Speaker 9: was just a lovely guy.
- 40:04Speaker 6: Yes, And I was like, he's too nice.
- 40:06Speaker 2: How was he going to be?
- 40:07Speaker 6: And it was like he does.
- 40:08Speaker 9: This thing trust trust acting where he turned into a
- 40:11Speaker 9: different person.
- 40:13Speaker 3: I don't get it.
- 40:15Speaker 9: This doesn't make any sense. But yeah, David's awesome, Bueller's awesome.
- 40:19Speaker 6: We've got hair.
- 40:20Speaker 2: Listen to hair.
- 40:22Speaker 5: Award Leyland and Michael Hurst play my parents so funny,
- 40:26Speaker 5: mother and father of the nation.
- 40:27Speaker 2: Who else? Oh god? Such a well?
- 40:30Speaker 4: Who's another interesting point? And Casey is going to absolutely
- 40:34Speaker 4: froth this. Can you tell us who your narrator is?
- 40:37Speaker 2: Oh?
- 40:38Speaker 6: Can you guess?
- 40:39Speaker 9: I want you to do three guesses, big American name
- 40:43Speaker 9: and a big American Well.
- 40:44Speaker 4: He's also keep in mind we've got about thirty seconds
- 40:46Speaker 4: week before.
- 40:51Speaker 9: Ron Howard, No one more again, Tom Hank, No one
- 40:54Speaker 9: more Black.
- 40:55Speaker 6: No, it's Rain Wilson from the office.
- 40:57Speaker 3: Oh cool, what what's true? Yeah?
- 41:00Speaker 6: Less excited than I thought he would be.
- 41:07Speaker 2: Yeah, true.
- 41:08Speaker 3: My first gist was going to be Stephen Fry, who
- 41:10Speaker 3: was like my whole time.
- 41:12Speaker 5: Yeah, and we wanted a voice that felt that was international,
- 41:15Speaker 5: that wasn't he we and that you know. But we
- 41:16Speaker 5: talked about Stephen Fry because the chase that features in
- 41:20Speaker 5: the show, and we're like a British like and were
- 41:22Speaker 5: you can't get Stephen Fry, but you Ray.
- 41:25Speaker 9: I'm friends with Rain through random different ways and I
- 41:29Speaker 9: had him up and he said send me the script
- 41:30Speaker 9: and I sent them the script and he hit me
- 41:32Speaker 9: up the next thing and was like, I want to
- 41:33Speaker 9: do it.
- 41:34Speaker 2: How good? Incredible?
- 41:37Speaker 4: It really is a fantastic show. And the other thing
- 41:39Speaker 4: is I wouldn't asked you to come Ben if it
- 41:40Speaker 4: sucked too.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:42Speaker 4: But having that, I've only seen the first two episodes,
- 41:45Speaker 4: it may very well.
- 41:48Speaker 6: And then it picks up for a bit.
- 41:52Speaker 2: And it's no good. Hannah Marshall, The show is called Settling.
- 41:59Speaker 2: It's on to eight thirty three.
- 42:01Speaker 6: Now, three now and three linear.
- 42:03Speaker 3: If you still that's still your vibe, Yes, people vibe
- 42:06Speaker 3: them one hundred cents called Setling. Actually check it out.
- 42:08Speaker 3: Six episodes comedy. I'm excited to watch it. Guys, Well done, achievement,

- 43:20Speaker 3: Come redine with me from Pugsan there.
- 43:24Speaker 2: I was just saying, too keasy off here there, MORGI
- 43:27Speaker 2: that I get into the States, particularly when I'm really hungry,
- 43:31Speaker 2: that I actually just can't be asked getting food, right,
- 43:34Speaker 2: You know what I mean? I just got I'm really hungry,
- 43:38Speaker 2: but I can't be bothered. Does anyone else get in
- 43:41Speaker 2: that state? I don't know.
- 43:42Speaker 4: You have to ask the listeners out there. I know
- 43:44Speaker 4: I don't when I get hungry. I generally I eat.
- 43:50Speaker 3: When I get hungry. Every other priority in my life
- 43:53Speaker 3: drops wee.
- 43:54Speaker 2: I've seen that you actually kezy that's right.
- 43:56Speaker 3: So you're starving, right, I am go and get dinner.
- 43:59Speaker 2: Yeah, but I'm I'm just I'm coming home thinking what
- 44:01Speaker 2: am I going to go? It's just all too exhausted.
- 44:04Speaker 2: We know what you're going to do. No, I'm not
- 44:07Speaker 2: hot part no, hey, no, listen, make sure you go
- 44:10Speaker 2: to the instagram by the way, and I to be
- 44:14Speaker 2: honest with your fellas. I was very confident that the
- 44:17Speaker 2: that the general public would get him behind me. I'm
- 44:20Speaker 2: still confident, but I'm attached nervy.
- 44:24Speaker 4: Results of the big haven't I haven't had a vote yet, right,
- 44:27Speaker 4: neither of yep, So the big polos should j just
- 44:30Speaker 4: be banned from the Friday Throbber.
- 44:32Speaker 3: Go and vote now on the Hidaky Big Shows Instagram
- 44:34Speaker 3: story and we'll be ripping into that shortly.
- 44:36Speaker 2: Fellas stuff mate, his sound good.
- 44:40Speaker 1: The Hillarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Tune in on Radiolky Living Color. There on the Larky
- 44:48Speaker 2: Big Show this Tuesday evening twenty nine minutes past six
- 44:53Speaker 2: o'clock and it's time for big.
- 44:56Speaker 3: Pole, super important, big pole Fellas. This one here is
- 45:09Speaker 3: what's all to do with the Friday Thribble, which is
- 45:11Speaker 3: happening tomorrow.
- 45:12Speaker 2: Can't wait, can't wait.
- 45:15Speaker 3: It's an integral part of our show. It has been
- 45:17Speaker 3: since day one, and Hoidy j has not been trying
- 45:20Speaker 3: very hard recently, A Mike.
- 45:21Speaker 4: That's true, that's true. There's been a lot of complaints
- 45:24Speaker 4: Jason as a result of that. You put it to
- 45:26Speaker 4: the You've got to put it to the people. We
- 45:27Speaker 4: can't keep on beckering amongst the team. Yeah, Keysy in
- 45:30Speaker 4: particular is very unhappy about it. I think it's just
- 45:33Speaker 4: a bit of a as well, and I think you
- 45:35Speaker 4: do as well, Jace. So it's quite simple. You put
- 45:39Speaker 4: it to the people. Every every big polers are binding referreingum,
- 45:43Speaker 4: so we're just going to see how they're voted and
- 45:45Speaker 4: stick with it.
- 45:46Speaker 2: My only question is what does the split need to be.
- 45:49Speaker 3: That's right?
- 45:50Speaker 2: Okay?
- 45:50Speaker 3: So also here joining us as producer, Pugs, Pugs evening fellas.
- 45:58Speaker 4: Thanks for having me a pleasure men.
- 46:00Speaker 3: So I guess what the reason Pug is it is.
- 46:02Speaker 3: The way it will work is if Jason is banned,
- 46:04Speaker 3: I guess Pugs would take that third spot.
- 46:06Speaker 2: Okay, is that how it works?
- 46:08Speaker 3: Well, I'm just assuming and Pugs, you know, for you
- 46:10Speaker 3: to have the honor of choosing a song every week
- 46:12Speaker 3: for the listeners to vote on. You need to play
- 46:14Speaker 3: it on the radio. How does that make you feel?
- 46:15Speaker 10: Obviously it would be a great honor, fellas. But I
- 46:17Speaker 10: do think that that doesn't mean that I'm totally unbiased,
- 46:21Speaker 10: because obviously I love the honor, and I think that's
- 46:23Speaker 10: important to take into account and this debate. Yeah, because
- 46:27Speaker 10: obviously I have a steak here. Yeah, he does the throbber.
- 46:29Speaker 3: But the reason what you in here was I just
- 46:31Speaker 3: wanted you to say, how exciting of an opportunity. No,
- 46:33Speaker 3: I love great, I love doing that.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Thank you. That's what we need. It's going to be
- 46:36Speaker 2: douche doche What does that mean? It's all.
- 46:41Speaker 3: What does that mean his tunes? Yeah, it'll be Yeah,
- 46:45Speaker 3: I mean it'd be very yummy. Okay, So what is
- 46:48Speaker 3: the what does the split need to be?
- 46:49Speaker 2: So ad I reckon eighty twenty?
- 46:52Speaker 4: I agree, previously has been eighty twenty.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Yes, so it's got to be aighty that says no,
- 46:58Speaker 2: he's got to go.
- 47:00Speaker 3: Says yes he is banned, yesh banned. See, I personally
- 47:04Speaker 3: think it should just be even if it's fifty one
- 47:07Speaker 3: forty nine, I think we should at least ban you
- 47:09Speaker 3: for one week.
- 47:10Speaker 4: Okay, I disagree. It's eighty twenty. Every time we've done
- 47:14Speaker 4: it's been eighty twenty. Okay, was that for a full
- 47:17Speaker 4: time ban or just for one week?
- 47:20Speaker 3: You see what I'm saying.
- 47:21Speaker 4: Well, yeah, we haven't done that before, and so I
- 47:23Speaker 4: think because we haven't stipulated that and previously it has
- 47:26Speaker 4: always been eighty twenty, that it needs to remain eighty twenty.
- 47:29Speaker 4: I think it would be unfeater Jays to change the
- 47:31Speaker 4: rules at the slate stage.
- 47:32Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you, Morgi.
- 47:34Speaker 3: You are such a all right cool Well, let's go
- 47:37Speaker 3: to the result. The official result of the Hidarky Big poll.
- 47:41Speaker 3: Should Jase be banned from the Friday Throbber fifty three percent?
- 47:49Speaker 2: Yes, Oh yeah, I knew. I knew that peeps would
- 47:52Speaker 2: have my back.
- 47:53Speaker 3: So fifty three percent of half our listeners still want
- 47:55Speaker 3: you to be banned from the Throbber.
- 47:57Speaker 2: Can I just say I I just feel very humbled
- 48:02Speaker 2: by your support. I knew the people backed me. I
- 48:05Speaker 2: never doubted it.
- 48:06Speaker 3: They literally evaded him out big.
- 48:09Speaker 2: And you know it as always on a Friday, fellows
- 48:13Speaker 2: very much looking forward to the Throbber boy withold old
- 48:16Speaker 2: Hoidy j have a banner.
- 48:19Speaker 4: I do wonder maybe the next big part we do
- 48:21Speaker 4: is should Keesy be banned from the throat?
- 48:23Speaker 2: Thank you Bogie?
- 48:28Speaker 3: Yeah, trying too hard, enjoying it too much?
- 48:32Speaker 2: Sorry about that parts You'll just have to wait on
- 48:34Speaker 2: the line, mate.
- 48:34Speaker 3: Sorry over here mate.
- 48:35Speaker 10: As I said, I would to be biased, but also
- 48:37Speaker 10: Jace much to think about.
- 48:38Speaker 4: Fifty three percent.
- 48:40Speaker 10: Of the I'm stoked with absolutely hate your shitters.
- 48:45Speaker 2: Here's the cranberries.
- 48:46Speaker 3: This isn't tune by the way.
- 48:48Speaker 1: The whole Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy

- 49:28Speaker 3: We're going to be there, fellers. Another brewery that's gonna
- 49:31Speaker 3: be there is Nick of the Woods.
- 49:35Speaker 2: The Woods sounds familiar.
- 49:37Speaker 3: They based in Towdhunger. Nick of the Woods Beer Company
- 49:40Speaker 3: are all about making beers that are easy to get
- 49:42Speaker 3: stuck into, which I like whenever I buy a beer.
- 49:45Speaker 3: To be fair, I haven't found a beer that it
- 49:46Speaker 3: isn't easy to get stuck into. Hey, here we are
- 49:49Speaker 3: old Sika.
- 49:51Speaker 2: Now you're talking.
