- 0:00SPEAKER_03: One of the nice features of the app, whether you're listening on the Wake 106 app, Twin Tiers Magic, or My Radio Jams app, is you can actually send us a little audio message.
- 0:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 0:10SPEAKER_03: And we were just having a little bit of fun with the Twin Tiers spelling bee in honor of the script spelling bee.
- 0:15SPEAKER_03: And this message came in.
- 0:16SPEAKER_03: Go ahead.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: I wasn't feeling well one day and I was moping in bed.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: So I texted my husband to bring me some ice cream and a uterus.
- 0:26SPEAKER_01: Oh what?
- 0:26SPEAKER_01: Instead of a utensil.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: It auto-cracked it.
- 0:29SPEAKER_01: I started utensil and it said uterus.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: Who's this?
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: I it is an i usually it's a spoon.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 0:40SPEAKER_03: But there you go.
- 0:41SPEAKER_03: Just be careful when you get your uh, I don't know, your peanut butter crunch and you uterus ice cream.
- 0:46SPEAKER_02: Um by the way, we are way past the 10 minutes and six seconds for the birthday wheel.
- 0:51SPEAKER_03: Oh, but that's okay.
- 0:52SPEAKER_03: What's it gonna be next week?
- 0:53SPEAKER_03: Five when nobody knows how it works.
- 0:55SPEAKER_02: Five hundred and thirty dollars.
- 0:59SPEAKER_02: The thing is, there are so many people who know how it works.
- 1:02SPEAKER_02: It is something that I get stopped about all the time.
- 1:05SPEAKER_02: I will be in a grocery store, I'll be in a restaurant, I'm at Glassfest, wherever, and all of a sudden somebody's like, oh my God, I need to win this money.
- 1:13SPEAKER_02: Yes, well, 500 plus how much money is that?
- 1:15SPEAKER_02: $530 is what the birthday will be next Friday, 7 30, because we only are doing the birthday wheel on Fridays at 7 30.
- 1:24SPEAKER_03: $530.
- 1:25SPEAKER_02: And if somebody doesn't win, but then it gets rolled over.
- 1:28SPEAKER_03: Okay, there you go.
- 1:28SPEAKER_03: I just wrote it down so I remember for myself.
- 1:31SPEAKER_02: Um so in the and well, why we're doing the birthday wheel also is because it's our 20th anniversary.
- 1:35SPEAKER_02: So we're you know, bringing back some nostalgic things.
- 1:37SPEAKER_02: So I thought I would bring back a nostalgic memory for Scott to get me into this next story.
- 1:42SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:42SPEAKER_02: So we used to do this thing before NASCAR, and it was called race fever.
- 1:46SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 1:46SPEAKER_03: Oh, everybody's you know, people still talk about it.
- 1:49SPEAKER_03: How they used to shut down Bridge Street and Corning and Yes.
- 1:52SPEAKER_03: You know, in the in the heyday of race fever, you'd actually have NASCAR drivers that were out there with their vehicles, maybe for an hour or two.
- 2:00SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh, yeah.
- 2:01SPEAKER_02: I think uh I don't know if it was Kyle or Kurt Bush was there one of the years that it was like one of my first years here.
- 2:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, right across the street from where we were.
- 2:08SPEAKER_02: Wait, wait.
- 2:09SPEAKER_02: But what the other thing that we would do is we would throw out merch.
- 2:12SPEAKER_02: So we would throw out like t-shirts and cups.
- 2:15SPEAKER_03: We had beach balls.
- 2:16SPEAKER_03: We had exactly you name it.
- 2:18SPEAKER_02: The one memory that really stands out is Scott threw a cup.
- 2:21SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna laugh about this.
- 2:23SPEAKER_02: Scott or threw a cup.
- 2:24SPEAKER_03: No, the the funny part is me doing it because I didn't well go ahead.
- 2:27SPEAKER_02: He threw a cup to um a girl who didn't have hands.
- 2:32SPEAKER_02: So how was she gonna catch it?
- 2:34SPEAKER_03: So how is she in a mob of people that merch was being thrown out at?
- 2:39SPEAKER_03: That is not a Scott problem.
- 2:41SPEAKER_03: That is her handler's problem.
- 2:43SPEAKER_02: Well, a flo Oh, her handler.
- 2:45SPEAKER_02: I see what you're doing.
- 2:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you did a Florida woman uh with a missing right hand got a say citation for using the phone with her right hand.
- 2:58SPEAKER_02: Hold on a second.
- 2:59SPEAKER_02: Here is her interaction with the deputy on her using her right hand that she doesn't have.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: She doesn't have.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: You go past me holding the phone with your right hand manipulating that phone.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: I mean, I saw you in the corner.
- 3:13SPEAKER_02: So you wanna just call this a day?
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: I don't want to call it a day.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: You had a hand on manipulating.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: Well, I thought I saw you with the right hand.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: You had a hand.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: I saw you manipulate.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: With the right hand, perhaps not, right?
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: You didn't see me with my right hand.
- 3:30SPEAKER_02: I know what I just said.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: I know what I just said.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: I'm asking you now.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: Did you not have your phone on your hand?
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: You did not have your phone again.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: And to God, you did not have funny hand.
- 3:42SPEAKER_03: Okay, first of all, I I love Yeah, go ahead.
- 3:46SPEAKER_03: I love how quick she was because she's clearly got a great sense of humor with the with the whole situation there.
- 3:52SPEAKER_03: The one thing that I hate is I used to be with somebody that had that argument style where they would do the so you did it! So you did it! So you did it, and I kind of wanted to punch her with my two good hands, but I'm not that violent.
- 4:05SPEAKER_03: Um so uh but it it because I hate that.
- 4:07SPEAKER_02: I think we all know somebody who fights like that.
- 4:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you know, and you're kind of it's you know what it is?
- 4:11SPEAKER_03: It's like I know you're right, but so what am I so but what am I?
- 4:14SPEAKER_03: Oh shut up.
- 4:16SPEAKER_03: Uh but at any rate, she was quick.
- 4:18SPEAKER_03: I love the fact she was quick, and he had no chance of winning.
- 4:22SPEAKER_03: You know what?
- 4:23SPEAKER_03: Just turn around and call it You're right.
- 4:24SPEAKER_03: Just turn around, call it a day, say, I'm stepping back to my cruiser now.
- 4:28SPEAKER_03: You have a wonderful day, please don't speak.
- 4:29SPEAKER_02: Would you like to know what the the end result is?
- 4:32SPEAKER_02: Yes, please.
- 4:32SPEAKER_02: It was dismissed in court.
- 4:33SPEAKER_02: Was it really?
- 4:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because she does she doesn't have a right hand.
- 4:37SPEAKER_02: She couldn't have been committing the crime.
- 4:39SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 4:40SPEAKER_03: Yes, exactly.
- 4:40SPEAKER_03: Wow, yeah.
- 4:41SPEAKER_03: There there is no Soy, yeah.
- 4:44SPEAKER_02: That was my memory of Scott.
