- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're going to pick up
- 0:06Speaker 1: where we left off with Doug Band and his interview
- 0:09Speaker 1: with Congress. Question, I'll admit to you that there is
- 0:13Speaker 1: an email between you and miss Maxwell. Miss Maxwell is
- 0:16Speaker 1: speaking to you about sending quote devil slippers to President Clinton.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Were you aware of her ever sending any gift have
- 0:24Speaker 1: that time to President Clinton? Answer? No, I don't recall
- 0:27Speaker 1: that ever happening. Again, it's possible people can do things
- 0:31Speaker 1: that have nothing to do with me, but I don't
- 0:33Speaker 1: recall that ever happening. Question, mister Band, it was on
- 0:37Speaker 1: the Moroccan trip with Epstein. There's a famous photo of
- 0:39Speaker 1: President Clinton in a swimming pool. Do you recall this
- 0:43Speaker 1: at all? On this trip? President Clinton sitting in a
- 0:46Speaker 1: hot tub with a woman whose face is redacted? Answer?
- 0:50Speaker 1: I do not recall that at all. I saw the
- 0:52Speaker 1: photo when it was released publicly earlier this year the
- 0:55Speaker 1: first time. Question did you know who any of the
- 0:59Speaker 1: women or women weren't any of the photographs? Were the
- 1:02Speaker 1: women traveling on that trip? Answer? I have no idea.
- 1:05Speaker 1: I don't know, mister Harness Harneice you don't know if
- 1:09Speaker 1: there was any other women outside of those listed on
- 1:12Speaker 1: the flight log that were also on the Moroccan trip,
- 1:15Speaker 1: or in the pool or the hot tub. Band I
- 1:17Speaker 1: don't recall that trip really, other than you're asking about
- 1:20Speaker 1: the wedding, which I recall a little bit vaguely. But no,
- 1:24Speaker 1: I don't have any idea, mister Grant, and just show
- 1:27Speaker 1: the record's clear. You don't recall the photograph being taken
- 1:30Speaker 1: at the time, mister band No, sir, I wasn't there.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I have no idea. The first time I saw it
- 1:37Speaker 1: was probably when you did, mister harn Ice. Outside of
- 1:40Speaker 1: the flight logs, Are there any other flights on any
- 1:43Speaker 1: other private aircraft that you took with mister Epstein or
- 1:46Speaker 1: miss Maxwell band No, not that I recall, mister Harnicce,
- 1:50Speaker 1: we'll go off the record. Question all right, we'll go
- 1:52Speaker 1: back on redacted asking the questions now, mister band, I
- 1:57Speaker 1: just have a few remaining questions for you. During the
- 1:59Speaker 1: time that you knew mister Epstein, what was your understanding
- 2:02Speaker 1: of his relationship with Donald Trump now President Trump. Answer? Again,
- 2:08Speaker 1: I had very limited interaction with them, and I didn't
- 2:10Speaker 1: really know him. I don't know of any interaction or
- 2:13Speaker 1: relationship with President Trump. Question did mister Epstein ever discuss
- 2:16Speaker 1: Donald Trump with you? Answer no, not that I can recall.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Question did Miss Maxwell ever discuss Donald Trump with you?
- 2:24Speaker 1: Answer no, not that I recall. Question did you ever
- 2:27Speaker 1: discuss a relationship of Jeffrey Epstein and President Trump with
- 2:31Speaker 1: President Clinton? Answer no, not that I recall. Question. Now,
- 2:35Speaker 1: it's our understanding that President Clinton once spoke to President
- 2:39Speaker 1: Trump about Jeffrey Epstein during a charity golf tournament at
- 2:42Speaker 1: a golf course in New York. The tournament benefited a
- 2:46Speaker 1: foundation that Joe Torrey was affiliated with. We don't have
- 2:50Speaker 1: the exact date of this golf outing, but President Clinton
- 2:53Speaker 1: explained that it may have occurred in two thousand and
- 2:55Speaker 1: two or two thousand and three. It's possible it occurred
- 2:59Speaker 1: later than Do you have any knowledge of this conversation?
- 3:03Speaker 1: Answer no, I do not. Question did President Clinton ever
- 3:07Speaker 1: speak to you about Donald Trump? Answer generally? Question generally answer,
- 3:12Speaker 1: I don't recall anything specific. I recall the President way
- 3:16Speaker 1: before he was president, asking President Clinton to join his
- 3:19Speaker 1: Trump Westchester Golf Club, and I recall him President Trump
- 3:23Speaker 1: about attending. There was some talk about him attending Chelsea's wedding,
- 3:29Speaker 1: and I said, that's up to it's all Chelsea over
- 3:32Speaker 1: to Chelsea kind of thing. That's all I recall. But
- 3:35Speaker 1: they weren't really real conversations or anything serious. Question. When
- 3:39Speaker 1: he was in front of the committee earlier this year,
- 3:41Speaker 1: President Clinton mentioned that President Trump may have told him
- 3:45Speaker 1: that he and Epstein quote had some great times together.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Do you have any idea of what President Trump may
- 3:50Speaker 1: have meant by that? Answer? I don't know anything about
- 3:53Speaker 1: that conversation or anything. I don't know. Question And you
- 3:57Speaker 1: touched on this a bit earlier. Have you ever met
- 3:59Speaker 1: President Trump? Answer? You know, I've shaken his hand briefly
- 4:03Speaker 1: at some sort of golf course, at the golf course
- 4:05Speaker 1: type thing, But no, I don't really know him. Question
- 4:09Speaker 1: which golf course was that? Answer? Trump, Westchester, the one
- 4:12Speaker 1: I was referring to earlier. Question And was President Clinton
- 4:16Speaker 1: president for that answer? I recall him being there? Yes.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Question And do you recall approximately when this occurred? Answer?
- 4:23Speaker 1: Early two thousands, I believe, But again I really don't
- 4:26Speaker 1: know or remember. Right now, mister Shapiro jumps in post
- 4:30Speaker 1: presidency Doug Band post presidency redacted, And do you recall
- 4:35Speaker 1: President Clinton having a conversation with President Trump of any
- 4:38Speaker 1: kind during that interaction, mister Bend, No, I don't recall.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I mean again, I don't know if they played golf
- 4:45Speaker 1: or if he was there at the golf club. Would
- 4:47Speaker 1: they have had conversations? Certainly possible. I just don't remember
- 4:50Speaker 1: them having any. Question. All right, mister Band, thank you
- 4:53Speaker 1: for your time. We'll go off the record. Mister Harness
- 4:56Speaker 1: will go back on the record. Question, mister Band, I'm
- 4:59Speaker 1: going to ask some base questions regarding who you communicated
- 5:02Speaker 1: with and about what if you don't recall specifics, but
- 5:05Speaker 1: you do recall who you communicated with, you should answer yes,
- 5:09Speaker 1: but say you don't recall specifics. I'm going to run
- 5:12Speaker 1: through the list for now. You can just say yes
- 5:15Speaker 1: or no to the question, have you ever communicated with
- 5:18Speaker 1: any of the following people regarding Jeffrey Epstein or Glene Maxwell.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Bill Clinton answer yes. Secretary Hillary Clinton answer I don't
- 5:28Speaker 1: recall ever, no question. Richard Kahn, mister Grant, can we
- 5:32Speaker 1: go back for Secretary Clinton? You said I don't recall,
- 5:36Speaker 1: but no. Is that a yes or no? Band? I'm sorry?
- 5:38Speaker 1: Could I have talked about it about it. I don't
- 5:41Speaker 1: remember talking to her about it about them, It's possible, Shapiro.
- 5:45Speaker 1: So it's fair to say you don't think you did
- 5:46Speaker 1: band correct Shapiro, but you're not ruling it out band

- 6:09Speaker 1: As I said earlier, it's possible. Question. Hum Abadeen answer.

- 9:18Speaker 1: at some point. I don't recall anything specific question. Any
- 9:22Speaker 1: other staffers of the Clinton Foundation answer? Any other staffers
- 9:27Speaker 1: that I recall speaking with about Epstein will Again, just
- 9:29Speaker 1: due to the nature of the involvement of travel and
- 9:32Speaker 1: those kinds of things, it's certainly possible that I talk
- 9:34Speaker 1: to people in the Clinton Foundation, I mean in the
- 9:37Speaker 1: Clinton staff. I don't remember. Question who would that be? Answer?
- 9:40Speaker 1: It would be a lot of people. Again, people have
- 9:42Speaker 1: their own independent relationships. Mister Shapiro, who handled the travel
- 9:47Speaker 1: and yeah, people who handled travel, people in the foundation,
- 9:50Speaker 1: people that were trying to become friends with them to
- 9:52Speaker 1: seek support, people that traveled. I don't know, and if
- 9:55Speaker 1: I can, I'm sorry. The Tony Blair one. I don't
- 9:58Speaker 1: remember having any specific conversation with Prime Minister Blair, but
- 10:01Speaker 1: it's possible. I don't think I did, but I just
- 10:04Speaker 1: want to be super clear. Mister Harnice, you stated yes
- 10:10Speaker 1: to the original question saying have you ever communicated with
- 10:13Speaker 1: any of the following You said yes to President Clinton.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Can you expand upon that communication with President Clinton band,
- 10:21Speaker 1: I don't remember any specific conversation. I was just trying
- 10:23Speaker 1: to be responsive. I mean, given they were traveling and stuff,
- 10:26Speaker 1: and just giving him documents or telling them who's playing
- 10:30Speaker 1: we were on, or telling them that he was doing.
- 10:32Speaker 1: We certainly had communications about it, but I believe we did.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I don't remember anything specific, Mister Emmer. During the previous hour,
- 10:40Speaker 1: you mentioned having conversations with Cheryl Mills. Is that right answer? Yes? Question,
- 10:45Speaker 1: and that was related to this committee's investigation? Is that correct? Answer? Again?
- 10:50Speaker 1: Cheryl and I are all close friends. I talked to
- 10:52Speaker 1: her regularly about a lot of things. After I was
- 10:55Speaker 1: asked to come provide a voluntary interview, I spoke with
- 10:57Speaker 1: her about that and about who do you us his counsel?
- 11:00Speaker 1: That sort of thing. Question. But prior to the committee's letter,
- 11:04Speaker 1: did you have any discussion with Cheryl Mills as it
- 11:06Speaker 1: relates to Jeffrey Epstein and Glenn Maxwell? Answer? None that
- 11:09Speaker 1: I recall. Question did you? And I believe you were
- 11:13Speaker 1: asked this in a previous hour, But for the record,
- 11:15Speaker 1: did you discuss this transcribed interview with anyone besides your counsel? Answer? Again,
- 11:21Speaker 1: I'm just trying to be careful in answering that question.
- 11:23Speaker 1: I talked to friends, some friends of mine who asked
- 11:26Speaker 1: me questions about it. I tried not to talk about
- 11:29Speaker 1: it or have any discussions, but for a few folks
- 11:31Speaker 1: here and there, we were just talking about the appearance,
- 11:34Speaker 1: but nothing substantive or anything like that. Question you answered,
- 11:38Speaker 1: it's possible that you had a conversation with Lynn Forrester
- 11:41Speaker 1: the Rothschild. Is that right? Answer? Well, I don't recall
- 11:44Speaker 1: any or remember having any conversations with her, and I
- 11:48Speaker 1: wasn't particularly close to her, but i'd just given her
- 11:51Speaker 1: proximity to London and her friendship with them and the Clintons,
- 11:54Speaker 1: it's possible. Question did you understand miss Rothschild to have
- 11:58Speaker 1: a relationship with Epstein or Max? Well? Answer, I did
- 12:01Speaker 1: not know whether she did or didn't. I just know
- 12:04Speaker 1: she was friends with the President and Secretary Clinton. Question
- 12:08Speaker 1: you also said that it was possible that you may
- 12:10Speaker 1: have had a conversation with IRA magazine. Er do you
- 12:13Speaker 1: understand him to have a relationship with Epstein or Maxwell?
- 12:16Speaker 1: Answer again, it's just the same answer as Tasha. He worked,
- 12:20Speaker 1: he ran several initiatives for a president. They were all friends.
- 12:24Speaker 1: I don't know college, law school, and so I'm just
- 12:27Speaker 1: making sure that I'm being responsive to the question and
- 12:29Speaker 1: saying it's possible. I don't recall anything, but it's certainly possible.
- 12:33Speaker 1: And also, and I'm sorry to interrupt, but in preparation
- 12:36Speaker 1: for today and just seeing emails, I know there were
- 12:39Speaker 1: things sent back and forth between him and them, so
- 12:41Speaker 1: it's certainly possible. Finally, same question as it relates to
- 12:45Speaker 1: John Podesta. Did you have any understanding of him having
- 12:48Speaker 1: a relationship with Epstein or Maxwell? Answer? No, I didn't. Again,
- 12:53Speaker 1: John's a mentor and a longtime friend, former law school professor, boss, colleague,
- 12:58Speaker 1: friend at my wedding, those kinds of things, and so
- 13:01Speaker 1: I just saying that it's possible. I don't recall anything.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Question is it possible that he would have been he
- 13:08Speaker 1: would have expressed concerns about the former president having any
- 13:11Speaker 1: sort of relationship with Epstein and Maxwell? Answer? I don't
- 13:15Speaker 1: recall him having any of those concerns or conversations at all.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Question Grant, and one more you also said you couldn't recall,
- 13:22Speaker 1: but it was possible to Casey Wasserman. Is it possible
- 13:26Speaker 1: that mister Washerman had a connection or relationship to Epstein
- 13:29Speaker 1: or Maxwell? Ban No, Again, I don't remember anything specific
- 13:33Speaker 1: or recall conversations. You know, he traveled. I remember him
- 13:36Speaker 1: traveling at some point again in preparation for today, sort
- 13:39Speaker 1: of reviewing stuff and seeing that he was on one
- 13:42Speaker 1: or two of the humanitarian trips. He was also a
- 13:45Speaker 1: very significant supporter of President Clinton's work. So I was
- 13:48Speaker 1: just saying that it's possible, mister Harness. Question, outside of
- 13:53Speaker 1: the list of people that we've already named and asked,
- 13:56Speaker 1: if you had any conversations or communications with about mister
- 13:59Speaker 1: Epstein or miss Maxwell, is there anyone else that we
- 14:03Speaker 1: did not list you had a conversation with about miss
- 14:05Speaker 1: Epstein or miss Maxwell. Answer no, not that I recall.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Question do you have any non disclosure agreements? Answer no.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Question so you don't have any NDAs with any women?
- 14:16Speaker 1: Answer no, sir, question do you have any men that
- 14:21Speaker 1: have NDAs with women? Answer no, I don't have any
- 14:23Speaker 1: firsthand knowledge or anything other than again reading about some
- 14:27Speaker 1: of the stuff. Question, but you don't have any knowledge
- 14:30Speaker 1: of any person having an NDA with a woman or
- 14:33Speaker 1: young female that has a connection with mister Epstein or
- 14:36Speaker 1: miss Maxwell. Answer no, Emmer, our questioning is coming to
- 14:40Speaker 1: an end. As a general question, is there anything that
- 14:43Speaker 1: we have not asked you that you believe is relevant
- 14:45Speaker 1: to this committee's investigation? Answer no, nothing that I can
- 14:49Speaker 1: think of, mister Harneice, we'll go off the record, all right.
- 14:53Speaker 1: So that is the Doug Band testimony of the transcripts
- 14:56Speaker 1: in their entirety. And as we're waiting for the Catherine
- 14:59Speaker 1: Realm transcripts to hit, we're going to be diving into
- 15:02Speaker 1: a deposition that Jeffrey Epstein gave to the SEC when
- 15:06Speaker 1: he was under investigation for his bullshit. But until then,
- 15:10Speaker 1: that's going to do it for this one. All the
- 15:12Speaker 1: information that goes with this episode can be found in
- 15:15Speaker 1: the description box.
