- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by The Hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities, CEOs and even royalty, Adam Cox.
- 0:20These recordings took place live from Evans Clinic in London's
- 0:24world famous Harley Street. So get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:39Hi, it's Adam here and you're about to listen to a hypnosis
- 0:43session designed to not quit cocaine, but to be highly
- 0:49discerning about when it is actually consumed.
- 0:52And I was working with. A client that was getting.
- 0:55Into a cycle of solitary use that would spiral and they would
- 1:00use much more than they wanted to.
- 1:03It wasn't giving them the upside that it did when they were
- 1:05younger, but it was having more health consequences really
- 1:08affecting their their breathing, they were sniffling, it was
- 1:13affecting their energy levels, sometimes for a day or two
- 1:16afterwards. So they.
- 1:17Didn't want that, but what they did want is to not feel that it
- 1:21would never be there. And I would say some people are
- 1:26very clear. It's kind of like, well, you're
- 1:28either a user or you're not. And that's a binary metaphor.
- 1:31Zeros and ones. But actually.
- 1:34It was a very, very big difference between someone that
- 1:37is a. Daily cocaine user.
- 1:39And someone that uses maybe once every two or three months in
- 1:43certain situations in terms of the impact on the body in terms
- 1:47of any legal. Risks.
- 1:48It's all proportionate to the amount of consumption.
- 1:53So this session is all about discernment boundaries.
- 1:57And this particular client had had certain successes.
- 2:00So in the past, they were a heavy smoker.
- 2:03And then they made a rule that they would never buy their own.
- 2:08And in doing so, even if they borrowed a cigarette from
- 2:11someone else, their consumption of cigarettes dropped by like.
- 2:1499%. They also set up a rule for
- 2:17themselves, a boundary of not drinking alcohol on weekdays and
- 2:20their alcohol consumption went. Down and their.
- 2:22Productivity went up. So what we can say is that a lot
- 2:26of people feel that boundaries and discipline are restrictive.
- 2:29Actually, they lead to freedom because once your unconscious
- 2:33and conscious mind accepts the boundaries, you have a lot of
- 2:36choice within those boundaries. And sometimes those choices can
- 2:40actually enhance things like productivity, health,
- 2:44well-being, clarity, all of these things that become very,
- 2:47very useful. So if you are interested in just
- 2:52being absolutely abstinent, I would say look for another
- 2:56episode that I have that relates to cocaine.
- 2:58If your goal is that you don't want things to spiral, you don't
- 3:02want to get caught in these loops and you don't want to end
- 3:05up using more than you want and go down that slippery slope.
- 3:08And but you still want to kind of have it in very specific
- 3:11circumstances, this might be a good session, but anything other
- 3:14than that, look for a different session.
- 3:16And if you. Do like the idea.
- 3:17Of a bespoke session with me so that you can deal with your
- 3:21addiction, your habit, in a way that feels empowering for you.
- 3:24There will be a link in the description where you can
- 3:26schedule a free consultation call.
- 3:28We'll have a chat over Zoom and it might be the case that I'm
- 3:31your hypnotherapist rather than just a person you listen to on a
- 3:35podcast. For now though, you might get
- 3:37some value from this session, so find a quiet, comfortable place
- 3:41where you won't be. Disturbed, relax and.
- 3:44Enjoy the session. Take a deep breath in, and as
- 4:21you breathe in, breathe in that. Resourceful feeling of.
- 4:26Calm and relaxation, and as you exhale, feel that wonderful.
- 4:35Feeling. As if you're releasing.
- 4:39Releasing certain thoughts, beliefs, and feelings of the
- 4:44past, and I want you to get a sense of just how much you've
- 4:53changed. Breathing and relaxation.
- 4:58Exhaling tension. Each breath takes you deeper and
- 5:08deeper. Relaxed.
- 5:12The deeper you breathe, the more relaxed you become.
- 5:17And the more relaxed you become, the deeper you breathe.
- 5:20And I want you to imagine floating up out of your body,
- 5:29drifting back in your past. And I want you to observe a time
- 5:35in your life where you felt that the relationship between you and
- 5:41cocaine worked for you. The risk reward ratio made
- 5:50sense. You had certain boundaries.
- 5:57I want you to see in the past you made a powerful boundary.
- 6:07Some people say it's not shitting where you eat and
- 6:10others not shitting where you sleep, but I want you to observe
- 6:16that version of you had a rule not to use cocaine in the place
- 6:26that you called home. And even if you did use away
- 6:32from home, I want you to see that that version of you also
- 6:39had boundaries. Boundaries to stop spiralling.
- 6:45It was used in social situations but never became solitary, never
- 6:52became a loop that kept on repeating and repeating and
- 6:58repeating as if you can't escape from a bad dream.
- 7:07I want you to think about your relationship with alcohol when
- 7:11it's been at its best. No drinking on the weekdays and
- 7:18if you do drink, not drinking so that you end up spiralling.
- 7:27I want you to look in your past and see there was a time that
- 7:30you would smoke a lot every day. And then something happened.
- 7:39You made a decision to do one thing differently, to just not
- 7:46buy packets of cigarettes anymore.
- 7:50You continue to smoke, but by not having your own, you ended
- 7:56up smoking less. And I want you to get a feeling
- 8:00that there is wisdom in your past.
- 8:08I want you to float back to a time where you used to use a
- 8:12certain substance a lot, and then one thing happened and you
- 8:18realised you needed a new boundary.
- 8:24And after that boundary, your consumption of that substance
- 8:29went down by more than 99%. Your past has all of the wisdom
- 8:37you need, and I want you to feel that those neural pathways of
- 8:43those powerful decisions and boundaries of your past are
- 8:48migrating towards this substance.
- 8:53Cocaine strategies of the past, boundaries of the past, and even
- 9:06evaluations of the past. All of the most empowering ones
- 9:13are being activated now. And I want you to think of a
- 9:18place there on your timeline of the past, where you felt your
- 9:23most relaxed, your most calm, your most empowered, without any
- 9:31substance at all. No alcohol, cigarettes, no drugs
- 9:36at all and float down to that place.
- 9:42Imagine breathing in fresh air and feeling a sense of clarity,
- 9:48energy, alignment as we consider this your baseline.
- 9:57No cravings, no withdrawals, no feeling of compulsion or need.
- 10:07And I want you to imagine if you're at your current age,
- 10:11there in that place in nature, knowing what you now know,
- 10:19knowing everything that cocaine gives you but takes from you.
- 10:24I want you to think of the sniffles, the soreness, feelings
- 10:32of dread, fear, sometimes shame, knowing everything that you know
- 10:41about it. I want you to ask yourself the
- 10:46question that if you had never taken it before, but knowing all
- 10:52of its pros and cons, would you start taking it now?
- 11:01And this allows your unconscious to apply all of that wisdom to
- 11:07help you make a decision. Because the answer will either
- 11:12be no, in which case you can strengthen A belief that you
- 11:20simply don't want it, or only in very specific circumstances, and
- 11:29that lets you know exactly the right place for your boundaries.
- 11:37I want you to feel connected to that place in nature.
- 11:42Breathing in, breathing out, breathing in a calm strength and
- 11:49resolve, exhaling old tension. I want you to feel empowered
- 11:59because you can't have a boundary if you're not clear
- 12:03what the boundary is. Clarity is where it starts to
- 12:11allow your unconscious mind to prepare to introduce a new
- 12:15boundary. A boundary to keep you safe, to
- 12:22create clean lines. Firm but freeing.
- 12:29And as you continue breathing deeply, I want you to imagine
- 12:36one of the places you call home and imagine walking around that
- 12:42home, the place that represents your sanctuary, your base, your
- 12:49energy. And I want you to get a sense of
- 12:56this is where you live. And I want you to imagine how
- 13:03difficult it would be to defecate in your own bed or
- 13:10defecate on your own dining table.
- 13:15I want you to imagine. Everything.
- 13:19In your neurology would say you don't do that here, you don't
- 13:28shit where you sleep or shit where you eat.
- 13:33And I want you to feel how true that wisdom is and I want you to
- 13:41feel that cocaine use from this point forwards is now like
- 13:48shitting. I want you to feel that any
- 13:52place that you would not defecate is now a place that you
- 13:59would not use cocaine. I want you to get a sense that
- 14:07cocaine is a a pleasurable poison, a false promise.
- 14:17Your home is the place where you live, rest and rebuild and from
- 14:22now on, a place where you don't want anything corrosive to
- 14:28enter. You simply don't, because you
- 14:34don't shit where you eat. Allow that to be your mantra,
- 14:43and I want you to imagine feeling the amount of disgust if
- 14:47you were to wake up in your bed one day and there it was, human
- 14:54feces. I want you to feel that level of
- 14:58disgust and link it to the thought and the idea of cocaine.
- 15:07That's it. Connecting with that feeling of
- 15:11aversion, disgust, a sense of we don't do that here, I want you
- 15:24mind to take you to a place even deeper, an extra level deeper.
- 15:30Just imagine something that looks like a fireman's pole.
- 15:35Slide down that pole to a level deeper and you're now at a level
- 15:41where your subconscious mind can take on powerful new
- 15:44instructions, ones that protect, empower and guide you.
- 15:54Here I want you to strengthen a belief that you already have.
- 15:59Cocaine isn't who you are, it's just what you have done, a
- 16:05habit, a behaviour that can be changed or rewritten.
- 16:14In the same way there was a time that you would have alcohol on
- 16:17weekdays and then don't, or cigarettes used to buy for
- 16:21yourself and then don't. Boundaries that once felt hard
- 16:27but now feel natural and your unconscious remembers just how
- 16:35effective those boundaries were. Reactivate all the normal
- 16:53pathways that mean you know how to set, enforce and refine A
- 17:03boundary. And I want you to feel that
- 17:08these boundaries mean that you get to you find a balance where
- 17:18you keep some of what it gives you without losing everything.
- 17:26Because if you find out, then after drinking a certain amount
- 17:30of alcohol, you're not able to enforce your own boundaries.
- 17:37There may be a future where alcohol is no longer viable.
- 17:40I don't want you to imagine what it would feel like to miss out
- 17:46on a nice drink with a nice meal, drinking with a
- 17:53conversation with someone that you find connection with, love
- 17:59to have those conversations, and now give not an ultimatum to
- 18:06your unconscious, but just a pragmatic assessment.
- 18:13If too much alcohol always leads to cocaine, alcohol will need to
- 18:19go. And if the part of your
- 18:23unconscious that wants a balance between recreation and
- 18:29responsibility understands that, let me know by nodding your
- 18:34head. Feel that thought ripple to
- 18:44every cell in your body, because with any boundary, the more you
- 18:49respect that line, the stronger you feel inside.
- 18:56A boundary becomes self respect in physical form.
- 19:03But I want you to think now about what cocaine really is to
- 19:08you. Cocaine is not a lover, not a
- 19:14reward, not a secret thrill, not an act of defiance or courage or
- 19:21adventure. I want you to imagine thinking
- 19:25of cocaine as powdered deception.
- 19:32Why is it deception? I want you to think of how many
- 19:36false promises, promises of excitement, elation it gave you
- 19:43but then never delivered. Like a scam, a bait and switch,
- 19:51offering confidence but instead delivering anxiety or shame or
- 19:59feelings of sniffles and low energy.
- 20:04Offering pleasure but leaving emptiness.
- 20:08A trap of being in that loop. You see it now as corrosive,
- 20:16unpleasant. And it's residue, cheap and
- 20:21hollow. And it's after taste.
- 20:25And what one seems sexy or sophisticated now feels kind of
- 20:31desperate and dated, like old lies told by someone who can't
- 20:37keep their word. And each time your mind even
- 20:44flirts with the idea, another part will immediately reveal the
- 20:50truth. Cocaine is betrayal, A substance
- 20:57that betrays your body, your energy and your inner peace.
- 21:04And your subconscious rejects betrayal.
- 21:09It simply doesn't want it anymore.
- 21:14And that excitement you once felt, perhaps from doing
- 21:20something you thought you shouldn't, is no longer linked
- 21:24to drugs of any kind. It's linked to self mastery.
- 21:31A true act of defiance is breaking free of a habit that no
- 21:36longer serves you. The true courageous thing is to
- 21:42live life on your terms. The real rebellious thing is to
- 21:48do what most people never can do, escape the loop.
- 21:57I want you to feel that it's exciting now to stay in control.
- 22:02The discipline in your own boundaries is sexy, but it's
- 22:07powerful to have this inner peace, inner strength.
- 22:14It is classy to have discernment and you will elevate and explode
- 22:21your levels of discernment because the future awaits of
- 22:30more self respect, more personal pride, more discernment and ever
- 22:42increasing standards. And every time you choose to
- 22:48believe that you don't want to be betrayed again.
- 22:54I want you to feel how good it feels to feel clean, honest,
- 22:59sustainable, oozing self respect, self esteem and
- 23:05personal pride. I want you to be addicted to the
- 23:10high of integrity, to have that habit of discernment because
- 23:21your boundaries are clear. No cocaine in your home, no
- 23:28weekday drinking, no buying cigarettes.
- 23:33And I want you to feel there's one extra boundary.
- 23:39Discernment avoids getting lost in the loop.
- 23:45These are your pillars, and your unconscious already knows how to
- 23:50honour. Honour these pillars
- 23:54effortlessly, like they're already installed, like safety
- 24:00rails around your future. And each time you stay within
- 24:06those boundaries, pride grows, self respect deepens, but more
- 24:12importantly, your freedom expands if your unconscious is
- 24:20willing to honour these boundaries, these pillars.
- 24:28Let me know about nodding your head.
- 24:32That's it. So now imagine a future version
- 24:36of you, floating up on that timeline but now seeing the
- 24:40future. Perhaps weeks, months, maybe
- 24:43even years from now where those boundaries difficult to enforce
- 24:50to the beginning but easy over time.
- 24:55I want you to see how your home is calm, your body is clean, and
- 25:01your mind is sharp. Imagine seeing yourself in
- 25:06social events, relaxed, selective and grounded.
- 25:13I want you to see that future version of you, where the idea
- 25:17of cocaine feels irrelevant, outdated, like fashion from the
- 25:241980s. It belonged to a different time,
- 25:29like something you've outgrown completely.
- 25:34And if you do use, it's with discernment, specific
- 25:40situations, but never spiraling as you carry yourself with quiet
- 25:47power and people. Sense your control, your
- 25:51composure, your energy, and you know that every decision you've
- 25:58made has brought you closer to the life you truly deserve.
- 26:08To be a true rebel is to live your own life, not doing what
- 26:14others are doing, but marching to the beat of your own drum.
- 26:22That feels adventurous. Start to leave this future and
- 26:31still take all the wisdom from the past with a new sense of
- 26:35clarity as to your boundaries and your way forward.
- 26:41So take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your
- 26:46nose. Wiggle your fingers, wiggle your
- 26:49toes. Connect and calibrate with the
- 26:52here and the now as I now count from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken
- 26:59you. Starting to count 123 Waking up
- 27:06456. More alert 7-8 Open your eyes.
