A decomposed body discovered during demolition of the old La Quinta Inn in Lafayette has警方 baffled — no signs the collapse caused death, but identifying the victim and determining cause are nearly impossible due to advanced decay. Autopsy scheduled for Tuesday, with Baton Rouge backup if needed; tattoos or unique marks may hold clues.
