- 0:22It is time to leave your worries outside and join me Dan O'Malley, Trade
- 0:29Trendholm, and Raj Sharma inside the Treehouse. There are always reasons to get
- 0:43more stupid in your life, but just the fact that it's Monday, that's
- 0:48one of the biggest right there. So welcome and let's get stupid. So
- 0:56uh. In the Treehouse Plus episode, we just discussed how love is dead.
- 1:00So if you have not subscribed to our Patreon but at patreon dot com
- 1:06slash tree House on Air five bucks a month, you get a bonus episode.
- 1:11And I've been saying it for a few months now since we launched Patreon
- 1:15that we'll have some other things coming, and that's still going to happen,
- 1:19but right now we just have the one five dollars a month tire and with
- 1:22that you get a bonus episode typically per week. When we did the five
- 1:27days a week, we just did the five days a week. We didn't
- 1:30do a bonus episode that week. But what I'm trying to get at is
- 1:33if you subscribe to our tree House Plus program at Patreon dot com slash Treehouse
- 1:38on Air, other fun things are coming. So the show was constantly fluid
- 1:45constantly changing, always open a new possibilities and opportunities and ideas. And Patreon
- 1:53is where we we'll be asking you know, some of you about some of
- 1:57those things as well, So you'd like to have some input in the Treehouse.
- 2:00That's a good spot to start. Patreon dot com slash Treehouse on air.
- 2:04You can also just email us. We have email. Mine's been the
- 2:07same email address I think since two thousand and two. Dan at Danielmalley dot
- 2:10com. It always shocks me when people say how do I get up?
- 2:15Like they'll send me a Facebook message or a message on Instagram, which I
- 2:16don't check as often. Uh, Like, I don't know how to get
- 2:20a hold of you, dude, I have had I've had first I'm not
- 2:23giving you my phone number, but Trey Raj, you know I've had the
- 2:27same phone number forever. I had one phone number when I got my first
- 2:30cell phone in the year two thousand from Verizon, and I almost said it
- 2:35and I don't want to do it, but into two one four number and
- 2:38I have had the same number ever since. That's twenty four years. I
- 2:44have had the same phone number. And I will die with that phone number.
- 2:46That number will go to the grave with me. You and I are
- 2:49in the same boat. I have had mine since ninety six, and I'm
- 2:53it may be the only thing I have left on my person and I have
- 2:59no dignity, no other damn it. I'm gonna have my cell phone number.
- 3:04My cell phone number is coming to the grave with me. No one
- 3:06else gets it ever, That's mine. That's that's no one else ever gets
- 3:08it. I had. This is my second number, and since the invention
- 3:13of phones and the excuse me, the poor lady that has my number from
- 3:20years ago still gets still gets text messages. And somebody told me she fired
- 3:25back one time. She goes, I'm not the FN comic. It's funny
- 3:32because uh because in addition to having my email Dan at danielmaley dot com,
- 3:38that means I've had my website Daniel malle dot com since about two thousand and
- 3:43two, and I was the first one. There are a few other Daniel
- 3:49Mallley's that wanted it and they couldn't get it because I had it. Like
- 3:52there was a guy that was running for Congress in California and I got this
- 3:55is great. I still remember this is back what we were doing the Saturday
- 3:58show on CBS. I got an email a couple of times from the Dan
- 4:03O'Malley, who was running for either state senate in California or a congressional seat
- 4:09in California. Didn't have a very good chief of staff. I know that
- 4:13because his chief of staff emailed me. Thank you. He was emailing him
- 4:18and I just say, hey, you might want to double check some things
- 4:23here. Uh anyway, no more hookers. Yeah, by the way,
- 4:28you're emailing member of the media. If I wasn't in Texas, i'd be
- 4:32I'd really be blackmailing you right now. And there was like a dog trainer
- 4:35in like Michigan or Minnesota that wanted my website to think of a dog training
- 4:40like, no, I'm using this thing. Yeah, if you ever want
- 4:44to get ahold of us, we're very accessible. It's don't go to comedian
- 4:48rog dot com. Yeah, I don't do that. That's a that's a
- 4:51weird like pigal gaming site, Chinese porn. That's it. I don't know
- 4:58why they thought. I go whatever, however you say when you're getting it
- 5:02on that that's between you and that individual. And then Ronsharma dot com.
- 5:05I appreciate the guy. He's a realtor in Toronto, and when we reached
- 5:11out to him, he said it would be fifteen thousand dollars for us to
- 5:16get the domain back, and we said no and he goes. But next
- 5:19time he's in Toronto, I'd love free tickets to the show. Yeah,
- 5:26like the balls on this guy fifteen thousand dollars, but you want free tickets
- 5:30to my show, I should have send him over like a link on from
- 5:35go Daddy. It's like like an f U Rajsharma dot com say hey,
- 5:41this is available if you want it. So anyway, same funny. So
- 5:46we are we are very accessible and we're happy to be that. So Patreon
- 5:48dot com, slash tree us on air. There's also a lovely fan run
- 5:53Facebook group, which is kind of cool. Occasionally I will stick my head
- 5:56in there see what's going on, make sure I don't get whacked like a
- 5:58whack a mole. And there's even a subreddit that people will occasionally post.
- 6:03My point is we're around, we're accessible. You can also email us at
- 6:06Treehouse on air at gmail dot com. There is some important news going on
- 6:13in the world that we have to touch on. Okay, and like many
- 6:17things in life, in this world, there has an artistic beginning. Okay,
- 6:28many years ago in the nineties, before I got my first cell phone
- 6:30number, but I think even maybe like two years before Trey got his cell
- 6:35phone number, there was a movie that was very prophetic that most of us
- 6:41took for granted at the time, with a very interesting character that we didn't
- 6:48realize how essential not only to the film and the franchise, but to the
- 6:54planet that he actually was despite being fictional. What I'm getting at is Jeff
- 6:58Goldbloom in Jurassic Park, because he said these amazing words, and they hold
- 7:03true today. There's one thing the history of evolution has tossed that life will
- 7:09not be contained. Life breaks free. It expands the new territories, and
- 7:13it crashes through barriers painfully, maybe even dangerously. But oh there it is.
- 7:21There it is. You're implying that a group composed entirely of female animals
- 7:27will breed. No, I'm simply saying that life finds a way. Now
- 7:34here's your current example of that. A steamray's pregnancy baffles aquarium staff with no
- 7:43males to mate with it. Wow. Jeff Goldbloom knew a female steam ray
- 7:54at a North Carolina aquarium is pregnant, leaving staffers puzzled over how a fish
- 7:58living without a male companion is reproducing. These are experts, they would they
- 8:03should know this. The aquarium and Shark Lab by Team Echo in Hendersonville announced
- 8:09on a Facebook post the other day that its stingray Charlotte, is expecting.
- 8:13But according to the aquarium, there's something fishy about their pregnancy because they don't
- 8:16have any male stingrays in that tank. They do say, however, there
- 8:22are two possible explanations for this once in a lifetime science mystery. One way
- 8:28is a very rare process called arthenogenesis, in which the eggs develop on their
- 8:35own without fertilization and create a clone of the mother. Okay, okay.
- 8:41The second explanation for Charlotte's pregnancy is a bit more weird science. They say
- 8:46the stingray may have made it with a male shark that was added to the
- 8:50tank in July. So we either get life finds a way to reproduce on
- 8:58its own, which is Jurassic Park level scary, or a sting ray and
- 9:03a shark got together to create the next film franchise on the Sci Fi Channel,
- 9:09Or God, I can't wait, or Bubba the guy who cleans the
- 9:16tank. No no, no no no no no no no no no no
- 9:22no no no no. You remember the scene in Little Nikki. No no
- 9:30Bubba half Bubba half sting ray Ray. I think he already is. Now
- 9:43it's gonna be Bubba ray Ray. All right, It's immediately time to run
- 9:52to run new background checks on all aquarium staff, because just because your record
- 9:58was clean when you got hired, does it mean that it stayed clean throughout
- 10:01the throughout your employment. I mean it is North Carolina. I mean,
- 10:07you know it makes sense. When I saw Trey's face, I was like,
- 10:11he's thinking the exact same thing. I think, Oh god, it
- 10:13was tell him where I tell him where Bubba had him put that stinger.
- 10:24That's so foul. Have you guys seen have you guys seen the photos of
- 10:30the steam Rays near the Cayman Islands where it's the Steam Rays City and they're
- 10:33on they're like they're like they'll they'll jump on on people's backs and they'll take
- 10:37photos. They're smiling. Huh. Bubba was like, that's a pretty mouth.
- 10:48She came on to me, she jumped on me. She was asking
- 10:54for it. You know how at the beginning of the show and I said,
- 11:03let's get stupid. You are one hell of a leader, Dan.
- 11:13I believe that I am a true inspiration to you. So because like Martin
- 11:20Luther King had a dream, I have you Oh oh oh that poor thing?
- 11:41What what? Why? Why are we assuming the sting Rays displeased?
- 11:46I don't know. I would I just would assume that. I mean probably
- 11:52because Bubba denied it and I'm gonna take care of the kids. That's the
- 12:03final episode. I mean, that's kind of where you you should punch out
- 12:07on finding out On the Marty Povich Show on Who's the Father is when Maury
- 12:11looks to his left and the guest is a fish and the guy and the
- 12:18guy waiting in the wings is Bubba. Be the same reaction if they say
- 12:24it's not the father, something will be flopping around. Are you questioning your
- 12:39life choices? Dan? All of them? You're listening to The tree House.
- 12:56Visit us online that Treehouse on air dot com. I'll be changing my

- 14:18couple of years to give up alcohol for Lent. I can make that usually
- 14:24happen to about week two and then before I get arrested for killing somebody,
- 14:30I generally have to give in and have a shot or two. So that's
- 14:33been something I have done in the past. This year, I've not made
- 14:35any kind of I guess ideas yet Ash Wednesday just around the corner or just
- 14:41happened, and so yeah, I haven't really made any choices to do anything
- 14:48yet this year. Actually, I think you have. You just don't realize
- 14:50it yet. You need to verbalize it. What you've given up for Lent
- 14:54is murder. Murder is truly the one thing that I can say I have
- 14:58given up because I'm trying to be a good human being down here. It's
- 15:03sometimes harder than it should be. People make it really hard. And the
- 15:07good news is by giving up murder for Lent, you can keep drinking.

- 16:53Johnson at the Dallas Comedy Club in Dallas Friday, Saturday night, twenty third
- 17:00in the twenty fourth Dallastash Comedy Club dot com. So on the heels of
- 17:04life finds away, which I'm now left feeling I wish it wouldn't because maybe
- 17:14it's not so much that life found a way, but Bubba did. There's
- 17:21another way in which a life presents itself, and that is in the rearrangement
- 17:26of furniture. So in the world of relationships, sometimes you come home and
- 17:32things are different. Roj, you experienced this last week. You went to
- 17:37the bathroom and came back to find your apartment completely remodeled. And that happened
- 17:45in the span of like four four and a half minutes. Four minutes.
- 17:48Yeah, And there's a game Tara and I have played many times over the
- 17:52years, and that game is it's not a sexy game. It's the game
- 17:57is called uh, What's Different? And the game typically starts with a text
- 18:04message. And this is how this game started. Just a couple of days
- 18:08ago, I was I was at the gym, and I was I was
- 18:12stopping to get breakfast to bring back home, and she's like, okay,
- 18:15great, and when you get home, we're going to play a game.
- 18:18And now I don't even need to ask what the game is. I know
- 18:21what the game is. We've been together like fifteen years. I know what
- 18:23the game is. At this point. It's what's different. There's no spokes
- 18:30models, there's no rod Roddy, there's no glitz, there's no glam.
- 18:34It's just walking the door and be trying to figure out, all right,
- 18:37what happened? No plinko, no plinko, clinko, I had noticed clink
- 18:42over notice right away. Instead, the game is, okay, what's different?
- 18:48I can ask a question? Please. So you're you're telling you know
- 18:53how you receive the call and came home in this. So how many times
- 18:59do you do this to tear None? Oh okay, so gotcha. It's
- 19:03a one way. I'm forever. I'm I'm forever the contestant, never the
- 19:07host. Yeah, your game is what's different? My game is Where's my
- 19:15Ship? Yours is on a streaming platform, minds on the Game Show Network.
- 19:23So uh, usually we play and I'm usually usually okay at it.
- 19:30I can spot certain things, but if there's if there's like small things,
- 19:33and I'm probably not gonna catch them. So does she do this because she
- 19:37likes re arranging things or is this just a cruel way of her just poking
- 19:41fun at the fact you have memory holds in your memory. Thankfully it's neither,
- 19:48because honestly, it could be the latter, and she could have a
- 19:52field day, Like she could just change things every day and not tell me
- 19:56and just see if I notice. I would just love it. Came home
- 20:00from the gym with breakfast and there was just a different dude there, and
- 20:03You're like, who are you like? And there Lizzy and goes, who
- 20:07are you? What are you doing in my house? So now that would
- 20:12be some next level gas lighting. A buddy of mine, Tom Tran,
- 20:21was an army ranger and he was shot in Iraq. He was like sniped
- 20:26on the top of his head. So he has memory loss because of the
- 20:30injury. And so every time way of saying that, I don't have a
- 20:33good excuse for my memory loss. But also whenever we go out to like
- 20:40when I'm back in La and we go out to drink he'll forget that he
- 20:42bought the first round. That's how bad. Like yours isn't that bad?
- 20:47Like he'll buy the first round and then we'll finish that dream. He's like,
- 20:48so the next round's on me, and by the end of the night,
- 20:52he's paid for everything. Okay. So what I'm hearing is, and
- 20:55Tracy, if you agree with me, is we need to find him a
- 20:57service dog that will keep track of the tab there and make Raj pay or
- 21:04find some better friends who go, hey, buddy, you got it last
- 21:07time. Very true? Yeah, yeah, all those things would be accurate.
- 21:15No, So I get home and then we had to play the game.
- 21:17Okay, what's different? And I'm looking around looking around, of course
- 21:18I don't see anything different. You guys could play it right now looking behind
- 21:22me. You can be like, okay, what's different? Well, then
- 21:25nothing. There's that black foor NATO fan that up there is the sign that
- 21:30was given us to our friends Brian Lenae of it's a uh. It's like
- 21:37a collage of different DFW bars or actually Dallas bars and their logos, some
- 21:42of which are no longer in existence, like one of the one of our
- 21:45favorites up there is the Loon. Oh yeah, original loon, not the
- 21:52second one. But anyway, and there's your TV behind me, some chairs
- 21:55and stuff, so nothing down here. And I spent about five minutes looking
- 21:57around. I'm like, I don't see anything. What different. She's like,
- 22:00Oh, it's not downstairs, it's upstairs. So then I go upstairs
- 22:06and I noticed it immediately. So I was good at the game this time.
- 22:08I was really good at the game because she had taken our king sized
- 22:12bed and shifted it ninety degrees to a different wall. That's pretty easy to
- 22:18notice the difference. Yeah, and what was a function thing? No,
- 22:25it was just a functional thing. Reason Trey that that she does it isn't
- 22:29to mess with me or the other thing. She's not gonna admit that.
- 22:36No, then that's not the reason she doesn't. She doesn't because she's right.
- 22:41She doesn't need to ask my permission to move the bed when she knows
- 22:45it's going to be better on the wall that she moved it, and she
- 22:48is. It's not like I'm gonna argue about it because she is. But
- 22:51yeah, I mean like there was like the bed's supposed to go on this
- 22:53one specific wall, but moving it to the next wall made the room almost
- 22:59feel like get a doubled in size. Now we can walk around the bed
- 23:02more easily and not trip over certain things. It makes a lot of sense.
- 23:06And I just I thought of you, Raj, because I came home
- 23:08to a to a different house the way you did last week. And so
- 23:11I'm left with the question, is is it nesting season? Like Daisy?
- 23:19When you when you leave to go to work and come home, has Daisy,
- 23:22your three pound shawabe rearrange the living room. She just wraps her tongue
- 23:27around an automate and moves it across the room. No, the cat does
- 23:32that. At least you get you get a text message saying when you get
- 23:40home, see what's different. I just walk out and come back in,
- 23:42and I'm like, I can't find anything. I don't know where anything went.
- 23:47I don't know. And at least at least I had, you know,
- 23:48like a couple of hours, you know, from when I left the
- 23:52house and came back. You, Raj, It's like you're in the middle
- 23:56of a play and they have to do a quick set change. Yeah,
- 24:00while you go off stage, and they got to change you know, New
- 24:04York to la in the matter of minutes. As far as the sets concerned,
- 24:08that's what happened to you. You go back in the bathroom, you
- 24:11come back. It's a whole new world. Yes, and it was very
- 24:14impressive. I'm like, in four four and a half minutes to redo the
- 24:18entire living room was pretty impressive. And that's why I said that she had
- 24:22to have done micro adjustments along the way just to get it ready for the
- 24:27go date. Like when it was go time, she could knock it out
- 24:30in four minutes, no problem, but it took like four weeks of preparation
- 24:33to get there. No, no, don't remember, no, I remember
- 24:38what. We're watching Castle, and I was like, I gotta I gotta
- 24:42go do my business. I'll be right back. And then came back and
- 24:45everything was different. We have a whole new TV stand now. I didn't
- 24:49know where that came from. Again, very very impressive. It's not only
- 24:55impressive, but it's highly ironic that you're watching Castle. Go to you go
- 25:00to the you go to the bathroom, you sit on your throne for about
- 25:03four and a half minutes, and you come out and your kingdom is completely
- 25:06different. I was throned, your your queen did some ship that's what we
- 25:17have to call the game. Now, Queen's doing some ship and that's why
- 25:22the cord was attached to the vacuum cleaner for for my for my laptop.
- 25:26I don't know how that happened. I don't know why, but that's where
- 25:29it was. So I'm again just wondering, is it Is it nesting season?
- 25:34I think I think? I think so, because when when two things
- 25:38happen in such uh in such a short time span, there's got to be
- 25:48some sort of connection. It can't just be random. Life found a way.
- 26:00In the words of Goldbloom, preferably the shirtless one on the he's laying
- 26:06down there. I would hate it though, if I if I came home
- 26:11and it's Goldbloom changing into the fly and I don't know what these where they're
- 26:15just puking on everything. What's different? That was my main point for this
- 26:23whole brief conversation was is there something going on? I'd say, is there
- 26:27something in the water, But ros you're twenty two hundred miles away, and
- 26:30you drink different water than I do, and the woman drinks different water than
- 26:33than mine does. So I didn't know if there was some sort of cloud
- 26:37sink that was happening with the there has to be some sort of like something
- 26:41happening. I'm going to be gone till Monday, till next week, so
- 26:47I want to make sure when I get back, I know where everything is.
- 26:53And your chances of that are very I'm curious. I'm just you know,
- 27:06I'm curious by nature. So I asked questions. Yeah, yeah,
- 27:11you know, it's so do I again my questions? Where's my shit?
- 27:15That's the question that I have to ask every time I come home. Where's
- 27:18my stuff? Tray? Check your phone? Usually he's good at seeing it.
- 27:33Oh yeah, I totally blew that one. I saw you look at
- 27:44your watch. I was like, well, maybe he saw it on his
- 27:45watch and then and then there was nothing. No, I got sorry,
- 27:51I'll set it back up just just for the hell of it. So I
- 27:52wonder if there's a connection or if it's random. I don't think it's random,
- 27:57because, as Jeff Goldblum said, finds a way, So I don't
- 28:00think it's you know, random that Raj your woman rearranged things and my wife
- 28:06moved the bed to a different wall. No, that's probably where a new
- 28:10husband likes it. So now the question is do we fix it and post
- 28:18or just leave the show of hands, leave it in, leave it since
- 28:26anatomous, we leave it. You're listening to the Treehouse. Visit us online

- 29:03do a good job, but I have not figured out what I'm giving up
- 29:07yet. So the short answer to that is no. I'd like to give
- 29:11up stress. I'd like to just go to bed every day and just let
- 29:14go. But that's not me. I need like a coloring book and a
- 29:17Xanax. Okay, well, I just heard like three or four things that
- 29:18you could give up for lent that would be a true test of your faith.
- 29:22One would be the coloring book, Two would be the xon X you
- 29:26know, three would be procrastination. Give up give up one of those for
- 29:29lent Well. I don't actively have any xanax or a coloring book. I'm
- 29:32just saying that I could probably be one of those people that could very easily
- 29:36walk into a doctor's office and go I have a problem. I'm an active
- 29:38overthinker, stress or procrastinator, panic all the time. Whatever you want to
- 29:44give up, that's between you and Jesus Jesus. We're giving up stress.

- 29:56we have a support group of two. Yeah, how can I How can
- 30:02I do a plumbing segue? I probably can't, but it doesn't matter.

- 30:48out we've only done two segments here, but with a third to go,
- 30:51and I'm very pleased with how things have gone today. I already feel like
- 30:57if there was a stupid cup, I believe it's runneth over. I feel
- 31:07like now I feel like we have a new idea for for some merch.
- 31:12Would he like a stupid cup for the Treehouse? Yes, with a fill.
- 31:22My cup is full of stupid. I just have a picture of you
- 31:26with your hands up, you know, just going where's my stuff? Actually
- 31:30it should be Actually that'd be a different cup for Ris called Where's My Ship?
- 31:38Yeah, that would be perfect. I would give that to her for
- 31:41for birthday. Brother. Are you did you throw something at a cat?
- 31:47Yeah? Yeah, the cat likes to uh he likes to scratch on the
- 31:51entertainment center. So you'd like to throw tennis small sum not a tennis ball,
- 31:57it's a It was the little uh mini rubber Treehouse basketball that we threw
- 32:06from the avenue grade float here. Gotcha through that at the cat, Yeah,
- 32:13I through through promotional merch to get him. So now you need a
- 32:21second cup so that can also be filled with stupid and watch it runneth over
- 32:25and hopefully not chunked at a cat. No, because that'd be a steel
- 32:30cup and that'd be bad. I don't I don't want to go from stupid
- 32:37to special, especially with the cat. Fine line? Is it? Is?
- 32:44It? Very much? Is? Yeah? I feel like we're only
- 32:46like, uh like just one bad decision away from all of us permanently wearing
- 32:52helmets in here. Anyway, Trey, I believe you had mentioned to me
- 33:02before that you had something to share with the class, I mean trios.
- 33:07Have any of y'all ever used, like do y'all ever use like sound YouTube
- 33:14videos or sound machines like like create like white noise, black noise? You
- 33:17know, like I found like the latest thing that really is helping me sleeping
- 33:22sleep is brown noise? What is the Are we doing an impromptu version of
- 33:34wrong answers only because I got a few. No. Yeah. The first
- 33:38thing that pomped into my head was when headphones in and some guy going please
- 33:44go to sleep. Just no, go to sleep. He is waiting for
- 33:50you. I was he was going to say that he was listening to snippets
- 33:54of this show, but just the RAJ clips. Anything to help you sleep,
- 34:01buddy. I want to explore this more though. So, so you
- 34:06got a sleep machine that somehow is tapped into brown noise. I go,
- 34:10and I have a sleep machine for a white noise. But then I've been
- 34:14going on YouTube and and that felt a little racist, like why should the
- 34:22why should the waits get all the noise when there's there's noises of color that
- 34:28are unfairly treated, There's there's different noises to help people sleep. I mean
- 34:36black noise matters. Uh, I guess it does. Black noise is very
- 34:44very soothing. What does the black noise ship? God, damn it.
- 34:51You gotta be kidding. Come on, call the funk back to sleep.
- 34:58Yeah. So I think that would definitely qualify as the black noise on on
- 35:05a sleep machine. And it works. It scaresy to sleep. At least
- 35:15our version of the brown noise make you giggle, Yes, go to sleep
- 35:22please. So the other, the other version that I had in my head
- 35:25when you said that you you like brown noise to help you go to sleep?
- 35:30Was what really does this? Does that lull you into a deep slumber?
- 35:40So you know, I've tried the I've tried the white noise, which
- 35:46is basically just former NBC anchor Brian Williams telling lies about his exploits in Iraq
- 35:52and Afghanistan. We've heard the black noise, which is of course Samuel L.
- 35:57Jackson's reading Go the f to Sleep children's book for adults. We heard
- 36:02the brown noise option, from which was please go to sleep. I like
- 36:09how when you say you still do the head wiggle? Only for you guys
- 36:15or anybody else watching the YouTube thing, This is where you need to join
- 36:19Patreon, Patreon dot com, slash Treehouse on air you can see the full
- 36:22video of these shows and you can see Raj do the Indian head wiggle.
- 36:24Or then there's the other, the other brown noise sleep option. I will
- 36:32commend you try. You found a You found a sleep machine with many options?
- 36:39Oh yeah, it's got all sorts of settings, does it? Does
- 36:49it have one of your ex girlfriend settings? That's not gonna help me sleep?
- 37:00But to answer your question, finally, yes, we actually Tara and
- 37:04I mainly Tara will use a sleep machine thing. We actually recently got a
- 37:08sleep machine because it's a little bit louder and it plugs into its own dedicated
- 37:15sleep machine with noises on it. Before that, she was just using an
- 37:17app on her phone or a YouTube thing that it was just you know,
- 37:22night noises. The problem is when we moved into this house on Saint John
- 37:27on Bordeaux Mountain, which the elevation, as I've told you guys before,
- 37:30has us in what's known as the moist forest, and there's different creatures that
- 37:35live up here versus other parts of the island which are dryer. Up here
- 37:38in the moist forest, there are all different sorts of critters and creatures and
- 37:42bugs and amphibians that we hear throughout the night. And the setting she had
- 37:46on her phone for the sleep setting sounded exactly like the noise we hear when
- 37:51we open up the window. So we needed something a little different. So
- 37:54the actual sound machine that she has now it seems to we work a little
- 37:59bit better. It also drowns me out. Gotcha, I didn't I didn't
- 38:06know you. I didn't know you guys had trouble sleeping. Is that a
- 38:07thing it's just is that a white person thing I don't know that keeps us?
- 38:15The bats keep us awake. Wait, you're one of those pricks that
- 38:21don't have problems sleeping. No, I have no issues. I can lay
- 38:28down as long as I have to have the TV on, but even that
- 38:31could be on mute, just as long as there's something. There's some light
- 38:36there so in case I have to pee in the middle of the night,
- 38:37I don't stub my toe. But I didn't know you guys had issues sleeping.
- 38:43Most people do. Maybe, maybe, maybe you do need to explore
- 38:49more of this brown noise because it seems to be working. I just assume
- 38:55Yeah has tapes of himself telling you saying, go to sleep, go to
- 39:00sleep. Thanks other, Raj. Let's give it a quick test, Raj.
- 39:07Let's let's hear some of your brown noise types for tray and see what
- 39:09happens. Gee, it's nighttime, now go to sleep. We'll lull him
- 39:16a little bit, like tell him to close his eyes and stuff. This
- 39:21sounds that's the weirdest thing we've ever done, as friend. Close your eyes.
- 39:25Gee, the bed is so comfortable, Daisy right next to you,
- 39:34jeans are coming go to sleep. Chicken cut eye, chicken pick Camasa.
- 39:54If you're listening to the show, Trey has just slowly dissented out of his
- 39:58camera frame onto the floor in front of his desk. And now it's important
- 40:07to sound like we're calling golf because I don't want to wake him up.
- 40:13All right, while he's out, Raj put in some good hypnosis stuff that
- 40:17we can get him to do when he wakes up. You like to go
- 40:22to work naked? You don't. You don't like pants anymore, But you're
- 40:35going to sleep so well? Yes, JE tell him he likes man or
- 40:39something to tell him, tell him, tell him that he needs to spend
- 40:45more time on his mother's Your mother really misses you. And what the fuck?
- 41:01It seems to work? That's by far the best brown noise, oh
- 41:15man hack, A lot better than the Apple iPhone factory in China. Just
- 41:21a bunch of crying kids. I didn't even mean to hit that beat,
- 41:35and yet it worked. I really did me. This is stupid again.
- 41:42I'm just beeping like left and right. Actually, maybe maybe that's not me
- 41:45hitting it. Maybe it's the kids in trying to send me morse code for
- 41:47help. I can't do that so less almost like well, I'd say two
- 42:00of my stupid clubs have run it over. Thank you, gentlemen, I
- 42:02appreciate it. We will see you for the next episode inside the Treehouse on
- 42:07Frippy. We appreciate it.
