- 0:03Speaker 1: A bit of a windy morning to start your Thursday,
- 0:06Speaker 1: so I think for the very first time in a
- 0:08Speaker 1: very long while, it doesn't smell as smoky as it
- 0:12Speaker 1: did the last few weeks. So enjoy the clean air
- 0:14Speaker 1: for a while and hopefully the plumes and the smoke
- 0:19Speaker 1: doesn't get blown over to Singapore because yeah.
- 0:22Speaker 1: For the last few weeks, it has been smelling like
- 0:24Speaker 1: a barbecue here in our country, but anyway, loads of
- 0:27Speaker 1: things to clear on a Thursday morning with you right
- 0:30Speaker 1: here on the shock circuit. Of course, you've got $5000
- 0:33Speaker 1: up for grabs and your second last chance at winning
- 0:36Speaker 1: for yourself, a $100 Cots shopping voucher. All this and
- 0:41Speaker 1: more happening here on the show.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Shock circuit. Stay with us. And speaking of going on tour,
- 0:45Speaker 1: actually very soon, April 10th at Marquee Singapore, we have
- 0:50Speaker 1: Alan Walker in town. If I'm not wrong, Marquee are
- 0:54Speaker 1: celebrating their 2019, 2020, 2021, 2002, 2003, 456. The eighth anniversary.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Over at Marina Bay Sands and here in Singapore as well.
- 1:06Speaker 1: They're having a great party. But we've got some news
- 1:09Speaker 1: about Alan Walker. Unfortunately, his studio, it was burgled. Full
- 1:15Speaker 1: details coming your way in just a while. Hang in there.
- 1:19Speaker 1: It's Friday tomorrow, and if you're counting down to the
- 1:21Speaker 1: next public holiday, it's gonna be next Friday, where it's
- 1:25Speaker 1: Good Friday. But I think for next week, all of
- 1:28Speaker 1: Singapore's gonna work out. We've got High Rocks Weekend, we've
- 1:31Speaker 1: got 2 Time You. Hopefully, 2 Time You. They release
- 1:34Speaker 1: the route very soon.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Till now, there's no sound of it, but it's OK.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Moving on to unfortunate news for Alan Walker, who is
- 1:43Speaker 1: slated to be here in Singapore, April 10th. He has
- 1:46Speaker 1: a studio in Norway, where he's from. It's called the
- 1:49Speaker 1: Villa Walker. It's a recording studio. I'm pretty sure he
- 1:52Speaker 1: goes there to produce all the hits that you hear
- 1:54Speaker 1: play on 987 and worldwide on your favorite streaming services. Unfortunately,
- 1:59Speaker 1: this morning, Singapore time, while on my way to work,
- 2:02Speaker 1: he posted a video.
- 2:03Speaker 1: of a CCTV footage. I actually thought it was a
- 2:07Speaker 1: marketing stunt or maybe a tease to a new single,
- 2:11Speaker 1: but unfortunately, it's actually real where his studio was robbed.
- 2:16Speaker 1: The robber took away some important equipment, laptop, hard drives
- 2:20Speaker 1: containing new and maybe even unreleased music. He thanked the
- 2:24Speaker 1: Norwegian police for helping him retrieve some of the items,
- 2:28Speaker 1: but some laptops.
- 2:29Speaker 1: And hard drives are missing. So if you're taking a
- 2:32Speaker 1: trip to Norway anytime soon, and if you see a
- 2:34Speaker 1: laptop or a hard drive that's unattended to, it could
- 2:38Speaker 1: be Alan Walker's. Please return it to him. I need
- 2:40Speaker 1: to say this, tickets are really cheap. $28 to catch
- 2:45Speaker 1: people like Ozzie, Y Lucas, Kiara, Robert, Max, Mbaho, K Click,
- 2:52Speaker 1: and performing for the very first time in Singapore. You heard.
- 2:56Speaker 1: The earlier. 50/50. They'll be in town. So 9th of
- 3:00Speaker 1: May 2026. It's a Saturday, by the way. Come spend
- 3:04Speaker 1: the weekend with us at a festival where you pay
- 3:07Speaker 1: $28 not just to witness music acts, no. It's also
- 3:10Speaker 1: bragging rights. You get to see them for who they
- 3:13Speaker 1: are now and once all these celebrities, barring of course, 50/50,
- 3:17Speaker 1: become a superstar, you can have the bragging rights and say,
- 3:21Speaker 1: I was there for.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I caught them when they were still rising. So please,
- 3:25Speaker 1: we hope to see you $28 only over at Ticketmaster
- 3:28Speaker 1: for Media Corp's Cloud 92. We hope to see you
- 3:30Speaker 1: over at Arena at Expo. When we come back though,
- 3:34Speaker 1: I know we've been opening up the phone lines over
- 3:36Speaker 1: at 669-11987 to have you give your school a shout out,
- 3:40Speaker 1: but today, I wanna do something differently. Just for today only,
- 3:45Speaker 1: I believe we have a birthday, a belated one.
- 3:49Speaker 1: To wish someone in just a while here on the
- 3:51Speaker 1: shock circuit. So, I'm gonna get more details because someone's
- 3:55Speaker 1: dad texted me yesterday on our WhatsApp number, that's 90050987.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Let me get to the message and the call, and
- 4:03Speaker 1: let's surprise someone together here, live on air. It's gonna
- 4:06Speaker 1: be a big year personally for Taylor Swift. She's getting official.
- 4:10Speaker 1: married to Mr. Travis Kelsey. Wishing them all the best
- 4:13Speaker 1: and of course very soon, at least in a Singaporean
- 4:16Speaker 1: context here on 987. We've got Sonny Chew's wedding to
- 4:19Speaker 1: look forward to, and yes, I'll be the MC and
- 4:22Speaker 1: not to worry, I'll give you all the updates you've
- 4:24Speaker 1: been wanting to know if you want to know, of course,
- 4:27Speaker 1: about the wedding very soon. That's it. Today it is
- 4:30Speaker 1: a special day.
- 4:31Speaker 1: We usually do this where we get you to call
- 4:33Speaker 1: in over at 669-119-87. You give your school a shout
- 4:37Speaker 1: out and we play you a song here. Yesterday, I
- 4:40Speaker 1: received a text from a very proud dad. I wanna
- 4:44Speaker 1: surprise someone this morning. Let's do it together. Hopefully, she
- 4:48Speaker 1: picks up the phone. Let's go.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Hello. Hi, good morning. Can I speak to Deandra, please? Yes, hello. Hi, Deandra,
- 5:01Speaker 1: this is Joakim Gomez calling from 987. Hello. I just
- 5:05Speaker 1: want to say happy belated birthday to you.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Do you want to know how I found out about
- 5:16Speaker 1: your birthday, Deandra? My father. Yes. Can I, can I
- 5:19Speaker 1: read to you his text message? Is that OK? Yes.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Morning, Sonia and Joakim. A little late, but I hope
- 5:25Speaker 1: to be able to wish our daughter Deandra, that's you,
- 5:28Speaker 1: a wonderful happy birthday as she turns 12 today, yesterday.
- 5:33Speaker 1: She's a Marymount Convent P6 student. You're a prefect and
- 5:38Speaker 1: the captain of your school's netball team. That's a flex.
- 5:41Speaker 1: That is tough. That is very tough. Well done.
- 5:45Speaker 1: So Deandra, how's school been for you and how's PSLE
- 5:49Speaker 1: year going for you?
- 5:51Speaker 1: Um, it's been tough, a lot of homework this year. And,
- 5:55Speaker 1: and what's it like captaining the school's netball team?
- 5:59Speaker 1: Um, we're all a team and we're all working together,
- 6:03Speaker 1: so it's been tough because we have national school games
- 6:07Speaker 1: coming up. Yeah. And what's the target for Marymount Commer's
- 6:10Speaker 1: netball team? Do you want to win it or hopefully
- 6:12Speaker 1: just qualify for the finals or semi-finals? Win it. Win it? OK,
- 6:18Speaker 1: I manifest that for you and all the best. Can
- 6:20Speaker 1: I get you a song here on 987 Birthday Girl?
- 6:23Speaker 1: Any song from Coldplay. Any song from Coldplay that's coming
- 6:26Speaker 1: up for you. Enjoy yourself, OK. Take care, Dianne.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Thank you. Bye-bye. Bye. Say you'll die for me. What, Zinn,
- 6:34Speaker 1: Think what? Life is a joke. I'm just kidding. Right
- 6:37Speaker 1: here on 987, your number one hit music station. Joakim
- 6:40Speaker 1: Gomez here with you. And of course, when we come
- 6:42Speaker 1: back at just past 7 a.m., how about playing for
- 6:45Speaker 1: $5000 when it comes to 987 Secret Sound. We don't
- 6:50Speaker 1: have a winner as of yet. And don't forget, we
- 6:53Speaker 1: also have the secret buzzer prize of the week. I
- 6:56Speaker 1: don't think the buzzer.
- 6:57Speaker 1: gone off as well. It could go off at any
- 6:59Speaker 1: time during the show. And for that one, if you
- 7:02Speaker 1: call through at 669-119-87, 2 of three guaranteed things are happening.
- 7:09Speaker 1: The first one is, you win the secret buzzer prize.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Second thing, you qualify for the big grand draw. Those
- 7:16Speaker 1: two are guaranteed. The third one though, whether you walk
- 7:19Speaker 1: away with $5000 or not, that one remains to be seen.
- 7:23Speaker 1: But when we come back, as always here on the
- 7:24Speaker 1: shock circuit, I'd love to help you.
- 7:26Speaker 1: I'm banning officially 4 answers from our show, OK? Find
- 7:32Speaker 1: out what these 4 are in just a bit here
- 7:34Speaker 1: on the show. Stay with us. Wake up.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Good next to
- 7:39Speaker 1: Kicking off your day in the best way. It's Sonnya
- 7:42Speaker 1: and Joakim on the shock circuit. Just saying we are
- 7:45Speaker 1: less than 30 minutes away from playing for $5000 so
- 7:50Speaker 1: please stay with us here on the show. But when
- 7:52Speaker 1: we come back, we've got some updates when it comes
- 7:55Speaker 1: to the crows here in Singapore. The shootings has resumed.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Singapore's number one hit music station.
- 8:04Speaker 1: It's gonna be a big year for Iman Fundy. You'll
- 8:06Speaker 1: be seeing more of her very, very soon. That said,
- 8:11Speaker 1: if you're in areas like Yishun, Bishan, Toa Payoh, Sembawang, Woodlands, Jurong,
- 8:17Speaker 1: if you hear shots being fired, don't be alarmed. It's
- 8:21Speaker 1: just the crow shooting. Yes, we've been talking about this
- 8:25Speaker 1: here on air and I think in the news as
- 8:27Speaker 1: well here in Singapore, it's being discussed. As always, the
- 8:30Speaker 1: comments section, they are split.
- 8:32Speaker 1: But let me list you some facts that according to
- 8:34Speaker 1: our friends over at CNA. Not to worry, there are,
- 8:37Speaker 1: there are safety protocols in place to make sure that
- 8:40Speaker 1: nobody ventures into the activity area. There'll be auxiliary policemen
- 8:45Speaker 1: and women on standby to make sure they direct public elsewhere,
- 8:49Speaker 1: and for the year 2025, apparently,
- 8:54Speaker 1: There were 15,000 crow-related feedback and over 2000 cases of
- 9:01Speaker 1: crow attacks, and the species, house crows, it's actually not
- 9:06Speaker 1: native to Singapore, it's invasive and it threatens our biodi.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Diversity and I believe the population, I, I, I, I
- 9:14Speaker 1: say this phrase very carefully. It could be going out
- 9:17Speaker 1: of control because I, I live in Bishan and every
- 9:20Speaker 1: time at 5 p.m. I go for a jog at
- 9:23Speaker 1: the ABC Brickworks Canal, the one right next to Bishan Stadium, right?
- 9:28Speaker 1: At 5:15 p.m. it's almost as if the crows know
- 9:31Speaker 1: it's bathing time. All of them will gather at the
- 9:34Speaker 1: canal area and they'll go in for a dip, and
- 9:37Speaker 1: then they'll go out and fly back to their respective
- 9:39Speaker 1: trees and their nests. So, that's one interesting area, and
- 9:42Speaker 1: they've tried, they've tried the trapping system, they've tried to
- 9:45Speaker 1: take away the food, take away the nests, but it's
- 9:47Speaker 1: not working because unfortunately,
- 9:50Speaker 1: People are still feeding the birds. So please, this one,
- 9:54Speaker 1: it really has to stop. So again, areas like Yishun, Bishan,
- 10:00Speaker 1: Toa Payoh, Sembawang, Woodlands, Jurong, I believe there are 4
- 10:03Speaker 1: others as well. If you hear shots being fired, not
- 10:06Speaker 1: to worry, it's just the, uh, crow shooting activity that's
- 10:10Speaker 1: taking place here in Singapore. We're about 20 minutes away.
- 10:13Speaker 1: To playing 987 Secret Sound for $5000 not forgetting the
- 10:19Speaker 1: secret buzzer prize has not gone off yet, and also
- 10:21Speaker 1: for you to qualify for the big grand draw. Full
- 10:24Speaker 1: details coming your way in just a while, and also
- 10:27Speaker 1: the four answers that I'm banning here on the shock circuit.
- 10:31Speaker 1: So you're gonna call in and say either one of
- 10:33Speaker 1: these four, put down the phone.
- 10:36Speaker 1: And think of a better guess, then you try again.
- 10:39Speaker 1: But when we come back here on the shock circuit,
- 10:42Speaker 1: sometimes when you buy drinks from a vending machine, the straw,
- 10:46Speaker 1: you gotta take it separately, right? Machines like the ijuice one,
- 10:50Speaker 1: for example, the one that sells orange juice. Unfortunately, uh,
- 10:54Speaker 1: I guess idiotic behavior has struck Singapore again. Find out
- 10:58Speaker 1: what this one youth did in just a bit here
- 11:01Speaker 1: on the show. Stay with us. And OK.
- 11:04Speaker 1: This one, I would have filed under Bordo crime, but
- 11:07Speaker 1: I don't think a police report has been made. So far,
- 11:11Speaker 1: it's just internal investigations according to what has been reported,
- 11:15Speaker 1: and the moment it does, then yes, we can definitely
- 11:18Speaker 1: file it under that because this is idiotic behavior here
- 11:21Speaker 1: in Singapore at a whole new level. So you know
- 11:23Speaker 1: vending machines, the one that sells drinks, sometimes the straw
- 11:27Speaker 1: comes separately, especially for our friends over at ijuice. I'm
- 11:30Speaker 1: quite familiar with them.
- 11:31Speaker 1: the one over at the stadium a lot because after
- 11:33Speaker 1: a long run, I want some sugar and some vitamin
- 11:37Speaker 1: C as well. I'll get myself an eye juice and
- 11:39Speaker 1: the straws, the older machines, you have to actually lift
- 11:43Speaker 1: up the lid and get it yourself. So this one fella.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Films himself, I repeat, films himself, yeah, with the caption,
- 11:53Speaker 1: city is not safe. He posts it up on social media.
- 11:57Speaker 1: What is he doing in that video? He's actually seen
- 12:00Speaker 1: taking out the straw, licking it and putting it back in.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Yeah, if you're thinking what an idiot, then you and
- 12:09Speaker 1: I both here on the show this morning because our
- 12:12Speaker 1: friends over at ijuice are aware and hopefully they've removed
- 12:15Speaker 1: that machine or they have announced that they'll be releasing
- 12:19Speaker 1: more enclosed machines, right? I think there'll be a lock
- 12:22Speaker 1: and only when you buy a drink then you can
- 12:24Speaker 1: remove the straw from the little lid thing that they have,
- 12:27Speaker 1: but yeah.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Um, I, I don't know whether will this make you
- 12:31Speaker 1: more skeptical of other machines that have their straws or
- 12:34Speaker 1: cutlery accessible, but it's always good to be very careful
- 12:37Speaker 1: and maybe wipe it before you use with any sanitizers
- 12:40Speaker 1: that you have on your person. Oi, but yeah, this
- 12:43Speaker 1: is just pure stupidity, and, and here's my question, yeah.
- 12:47Speaker 1: I mean, if you're gonna do something that idiotic, why
- 12:50Speaker 1: post it on social media in the very first place?
- 12:53Speaker 1: If you need attention, there are other ways to get it.
- 12:56Speaker 1: But I digress. Anyway, hopefully this kind of behavior stops time. 987.
- 13:07Speaker 1: That
- 13:08Speaker 1: We are on a mission to make you $5000 richer,
- 13:12Speaker 1: and if it snowballs, $6000 7000 dollars, maybe even $10,000
- 13:18Speaker 1: or if we eventually get there, $20,000 richer here on 987.
- 13:25Speaker 1: So far, no one's got the answer, right? Obviously, we're
- 13:27Speaker 1: still playing the game, but let me be friendly Joe
- 13:31Speaker 1: for a while. If boss Janice is tuned in, boss,
- 13:34Speaker 1: I know you might be frowning upon this, but let
- 13:36Speaker 1: me help them, OK?
- 13:38Speaker 1: Four answers I'm completely banning from here on the shock circuit.
- 13:42Speaker 1: If you're gonna call in and say, clicking of a pen,
- 13:45Speaker 1: put down the phone. If you're gonna call in and say,
- 13:47Speaker 1: hole puncher, put down the phone. If you're gonna call
- 13:50Speaker 1: in and say typewriter or stapler, again, put down the phone.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Think of a better guest then you call us at 669-119-87. So,
- 13:59Speaker 1: I'm gonna bring down the volume of our secret sound
- 14:02Speaker 1: music and play you the secret sound. Polish your ears.
- 14:06Speaker 1: You ready?
- 14:08Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I'll play it for you one more time.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Hopefully you win, you know what to do.
- 14:20Speaker 1: that sound.
- 14:21Speaker 1: 987 Secret Sound. Hello, you are playing for $5000. Who
- 14:26Speaker 1: do I have on the line? Hi Joe. I'm Maria. Hello, Ari.
- 14:30Speaker 1: So what are you up to on this Thursday morning, brother? Um,
- 14:34Speaker 1: I'm just really just driving and walking. Driving to work, OK.
- 14:37Speaker 1: If you win $5000 Ari, what's the plan?
- 14:42Speaker 1: Um, maybe bring my family to holiday. Why not, right? OK, Ari,
- 14:48Speaker 1: you heard the four answers I'm banning here on the show.
- 14:51Speaker 1: If you say either of those four, I'm gonna hang up, OK?
- 14:54Speaker 1: So do you promise me you're giving me a new guess? Yes. OK,
- 14:59Speaker 1: I'm gonna play you the secret sound. Listen very carefully.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Ari, for $5000 what is the 987's secret sound? Um, I, uh,
- 15:15Speaker 1: bag of coins. Ari, you said bag of coins. Here
- 15:19Speaker 1: is the verdict.
- 15:21Speaker 1: You are incorrect. Your chance to play 987's secret sound continues.
- 15:29Speaker 1: that
- 15:31Speaker 1: Well, Ari, not the answer we're looking for, but it's OK,
- 15:34Speaker 1: you still qualify for the big grand draw, OK?
- 15:45Speaker 1: Wake up
- 15:46Speaker 1: Good next.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Kicking off your day in the best way. It's Sonia
- 15:51Speaker 1: and Joakim on the shock circuit. So you might have
- 15:54Speaker 1: seen the news over the last two days. A national
- 15:56Speaker 1: icon will no longer be produced in Singapore. I'm talking
- 16:01Speaker 1: about Tiger beer. I'm gonna break it down for you
- 16:04Speaker 1: in just a bit and make some comparisons with beloved
- 16:07Speaker 1: brands from around the world. Singapore's number one hit music station.
- 16:13Speaker 1: OK, I'm no beer expert. I just drink it.
- 16:18Speaker 1: But I'm, I'm very sure if you're 18 and above,
- 16:23Speaker 1: at least here in Singapore, your first beer could've been
- 16:28Speaker 1: Tiger beer. Yeah, and giving you some history, since 1932,
- 16:35Speaker 1: Tiger beer has become a national icon. It's under Asia
- 16:39Speaker 1: Pacific Breweries, which is owned by Heineken. So, yeah, I
- 16:43Speaker 1: remember as a kid.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Tiger beer was seen on coffee shop tables. My uncles,
- 16:48Speaker 1: my dad, my godfather would have it. And in 2001,
- 16:52Speaker 1: when Manchester United were in town, and when Indra Shadhan
- 16:56Speaker 1: scored to make it 1-1, what was blaring at the
- 17:00Speaker 1: old national stadium speakers? The jingle. What time is it?
- 17:04Speaker 1: It's tiger time. What time is it? If you remember,
- 17:06Speaker 1: it's also an age test and all those television commercials.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Get that man a beer.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Yeah. No, get that man a tiger. Another age test
- 17:15Speaker 1: for you and also it reveals how much television I've
- 17:17Speaker 1: been watching since a kid. But if you read the
- 17:20Speaker 1: news the last few days, you'd have read that by 2027,
- 17:25Speaker 1: our friends over at Tiger Beer will be shifting production
- 17:28Speaker 1: overseas to Malaysia and Vietnam. Now, Tiger Beer, it is
- 17:34Speaker 1: brewed in multiple countries, even here in Singapore as well,
- 17:38Speaker 1: but
- 17:39Speaker 1: For it to no longer be brewed in Singapore. I'm
- 17:43Speaker 1: not too sure how most Singaporeans feel about it. So I,
- 17:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna make some comparisons here. I was doing some
- 17:50Speaker 1: research earlier. When you talk about Coca-Cola, OK, you would think, oh, yeah,
- 17:55Speaker 1: it's an American brand. Um, just to give you a
- 17:57Speaker 1: heads up as well, Coca-Cola is being brewed internationally as well.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Brewed or made internationally, but the concentrate syrup is actually imported.
- 18:07Speaker 1: From the headquarters itself. They have over 900 bottling plants.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Here in Singapore, we have one as well. McDonald's, you
- 18:15Speaker 1: would think, yes, American brand as well, but it's being
- 18:19Speaker 1: produced globally. It's made globally. Different countries have different recipes
- 18:22Speaker 1: for some exclusive burgers as well. And then when it
- 18:26Speaker 1: comes to maybe say, your football jerseys, OK, from your
- 18:31Speaker 1: favorite sports brands like Adidas, Nike, Puma.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Under Armour, even, even your running shoes, yeah. Yeah, they,
- 18:39Speaker 1: they could be prototyped and planned from the country of origin,
- 18:44Speaker 1: like for Adidas and Puma, it's Germany, but when it
- 18:47Speaker 1: goes into production, I think Vietnam is the biggest player
- 18:51Speaker 1: in their market where all your jerseys and running shoes
- 18:54Speaker 1: are produced, maybe even Bangladesh as well. And then when
- 18:59Speaker 1: it comes to Dyson and maybe even Apple, the phone company,
- 19:04Speaker 1: of course.
- 19:05Speaker 1: When they have their prototypes, it may be designed in
- 19:09Speaker 1: their headquarters buildings in the US and and for Dyson,
- 19:12Speaker 1: maybe in the UK as well, but when it becomes
- 19:15Speaker 1: manufactured and produced, they shift it over to China and
- 19:18Speaker 1: maybe even here in Singapore, where they do a little
- 19:20Speaker 1: bit more advanced stuff.
- 19:22Speaker 1: So, my question is this, does it matter where something
- 19:27Speaker 1: comes from? Maybe in the F&B world and maybe in
- 19:30Speaker 1: the world of tech or whatever you own, do, do
- 19:33Speaker 1: you look at where it comes from? Because maybe even
- 19:36Speaker 1: your branded brands like Louis Vuitton,
- 19:39Speaker 1: And other stuff, right? It it could be produced elsewhere
- 19:42Speaker 1: in the world, even though it could be a French brand,
- 19:45Speaker 1: German brand, Italian brand. So I wanna open the phone lines.
- 19:49Speaker 1: It's 669-119-87. If you love your tiger beer and you
- 19:53Speaker 1: feel strongly that no, it should stay and be produced
- 19:56Speaker 1: in Singapore. It's a Singaporean classic. How can it be
- 19:59Speaker 1: produced other, uh, elsewhere and then imported back to Singapore?
- 20:03Speaker 1: Let me know. Or, or if you're the kind of
- 20:05Speaker 1: person that's very particular about
- 20:07Speaker 1: where something is made. Let me know as well. 669-119-87
- 20:12Speaker 1: or you can WhatsApp us at 90050987. If we do
- 20:17Speaker 1: like your answer, what's coming your way? It's a very
- 20:19Speaker 1: nice $100 dining experience. All thanks to our friends over
- 20:22Speaker 1: at Novotel Singapore. I'll gift Vijas joined us. We say
- 20:25Speaker 1: welcome to the show. Talking about Tiger beer, and by
- 20:28Speaker 1: now you'd have read that by 2027, they are shifting
- 20:32Speaker 1: production overseas to Malaysia and Vietnam.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Even though Tiger beer is brewed in multiple countries, yes,
- 20:38Speaker 1: currently it's being brewed in Singapore as well. People feel
- 20:41Speaker 1: strongly about it. They're saying, how can a Singaporean classic,
- 20:46Speaker 1: a Singaporean icon, not be brewed in our country itself?
- 20:51Speaker 1: I it's an interesting question. So, my, my take today
- 20:55Speaker 1: over at 669-11987, as well as WhatsApp, 90050987, do you
- 21:02Speaker 1: care where something is made?
- 21:04Speaker 1: Maybe in the F&B world as well, because when it
- 21:06Speaker 1: comes to Apple and Dyson, your, your beloved tech brands,
- 21:10Speaker 1: even Samsung as well, I, I, I'm pretty sure for Samsung,
- 21:12Speaker 1: aside from Korea, they might have production plants in other
- 21:15Speaker 1: areas around the world. I know for sure Apple, they
- 21:18Speaker 1: have production plants in China and for Dyson, it's, it's
- 21:21Speaker 1: all over the world. And then you talk to your
- 21:23Speaker 1: sports brands, Adidas, Puma, and Nike, when it comes to
- 21:26Speaker 1: your football jerseys and running shoes, they, they are not
- 21:30Speaker 1: really produced in the country.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Of origin, it's maybe produced in places like Vietnam, India, Bangladesh.
- 21:37Speaker 1: So yes, I'm, I'm gonna go to the phone lines
- 21:40Speaker 1: right now, or rather WhatsApp, and say good morning to Damon.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Damon says, morning, Joakim. The best tasting tiger beer, Heineken
- 21:48Speaker 1: and Guinness stout I ever had was at APB itself.
- 21:52Speaker 1: They were fresh and extremely tasty. Nothing like those bottled
- 21:55Speaker 1: ones at shops and coffee shops. Those who had gone
- 21:58Speaker 1: for their day tour at APB will agree with me strongly.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Sad that they are shifting to Malaysia. You know what, Damon, I, I,
- 22:04Speaker 1: I'm due a trip there as well. I wanna try
- 22:07Speaker 1: all three brands that you mentioned. Thank you so much
- 22:10Speaker 1: for texting in. Also, I wanna say good morning to Chloe.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Chloe says, yes, it should be in Singapore in terms
- 22:17Speaker 1: of producing tiger beer because the water quality is already different.
- 22:21Speaker 1: So how can it be 100% the same? Like the
- 22:24Speaker 1: Kit Kat in the UK, it's not the same as
- 22:27Speaker 1: the Kit Kat in Malaysia.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Unfortunately, they don't sell the UK version in Singapore anywhere.
- 22:33Speaker 1: I tried so hard to find, but no more. Thank
- 22:35Speaker 1: you so much for all your texts. Let's keep it
- 22:37Speaker 1: coming over at 90050987 or you can call us at 669-11987.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Whether it's Tiger beer or anything else, do you care
- 22:47Speaker 1: where it's made? If you just joined us on this
- 22:50Speaker 1: Thursday morning, I'd say hello and welcome to the show.
- 22:52Speaker 1: What you are currently on is the conversation about how
- 22:56Speaker 1: Tiger Beer by 2020
- 22:58Speaker 1: 7, they are shifting production overseas to Malaysia and Vietnam.
- 23:01Speaker 1: It will no longer be brewed in Singapore, and people
- 23:05Speaker 1: are feeling very strongly about this. They're saying, how can,
- 23:09Speaker 1: how can a national icon since 1932 no longer be
- 23:14Speaker 1: brewed in its home country? Yup, that, that's my question too,
- 23:18Speaker 1: but again, I'm pretty sure there are plenty of business
- 23:22Speaker 1: decisions being made, and again, I'm no beer expert, I
- 23:25Speaker 1: just drink it, but
- 23:27Speaker 1: To know that Tiger beer is no longer produced in Singapore, ah,
- 23:31Speaker 1: it's sad. It's sad. Going to WhatsApp right now, 90050987.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I want to say hello to Irene. Irene says, Tiger
- 23:41Speaker 1: beer should continue to be produced in Singapore. It's a
- 23:44Speaker 1: tradition and their best selling point, especially when we travel
- 23:47Speaker 1: to Asian countries and we see the can of tiger,
- 23:50Speaker 1: will inadvertently reach out for it.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Please try to keep the production local. Go Tiger. You
- 23:55Speaker 1: know what, Irene, I, I, I guess all you can
- 23:57Speaker 1: do right now is write in and leave comments on
- 23:59Speaker 1: the Facebook page. Hopefully, they might reconsider their decision. Wanna
- 24:04Speaker 1: say good morning to John. Hey, Joakim, John here. I
- 24:08Speaker 1: think it doesn't matter where the product is being produced,
- 24:11Speaker 1: as long as the origin is known. Look at the
- 24:14Speaker 1: Singapore sling, for example, the cocktail. It's famous.
- 24:17Speaker 1: worldwide and everyone knows it's a Singaporean-made cocktail from Raffles Hotel.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Going to the phone lines, it's 669-119-87. Do you care
- 24:28Speaker 1: where something is made? Yasmin, what are your thoughts?
- 24:31Speaker 2: Well, not me, but my father is a super made
- 24:36Speaker 2: in person. So whenever he, whenever he wants to buy something,
- 24:40Speaker 2: he would actually look at the label and see
- 24:43Speaker 2: it's made from. So just a funny story to share.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Last week we were in Bangkok and we walked into
- 24:49Speaker 2: Long Shem because I wanted to buy a tote bag, right?
- 24:53Speaker 2: And you know how many colors they have in the
- 24:55Speaker 2: tote bags, all sorts of colors. So this girl, I
- 24:58Speaker 2: mean the, the, the assistant, she was bringing us to the,
- 25:01Speaker 2: the rows of tote bags and she's like, OK, so
- 25:03Speaker 2: here are all the colors, and he started to dig
- 25:06Speaker 2: into all the colors that they had by looking at
- 25:09Speaker 2: the label and the label was quite hidden in, in
- 25:11Speaker 2: the bag itself.
- 25:13Speaker 2: So he was like, where is this label, you know,
- 25:15Speaker 2: the one that says made in, and then the girl
- 25:17Speaker 2: had to find it for him and then he saw that, OK,
- 25:20Speaker 2: so this color was made in China. And he was like, oh,
- 25:23Speaker 2: made in China. And then he started looking at the
- 25:25Speaker 2: other colors and he said, oh, this is made in Tunisia.
- 25:28Speaker 2: So he told me, get the Tunisia ones, you know.
- 25:32Speaker 2: And I was like, OK. And then after that, we
- 25:35Speaker 2: we went on to another part where she, she opened
- 25:37Speaker 2: a drawer full of bags and he started doing that again. Yeah,
- 25:41Speaker 2: so eventually I I got a Tunisia one, of course.
- 25:49Speaker 2: No, no, it's exactly the same. It's exactly the same.
- 25:54Speaker 1: How did your dad acquire this? That's very interesting.
- 25:59Speaker 2: I don't know. He ever since like, yeah, well, I
- 26:02Speaker 2: don't know. He, he just, he loves to buy things
- 26:05Speaker 2: that are made in, for example, Japan.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Or you know, USA or things like that. So if
- 26:11Speaker 2: he sees anything that's made in Japan, even if he
- 26:14Speaker 2: doesn't need that item, he'll be like, I need to
- 26:16Speaker 2: buy this.
- 26:16Speaker 1: That's a huge pat on the back for Japanese craftsmanship. Well,
- 26:20Speaker 1: keep the calls and texts coming in over at 669-11987
- 26:25Speaker 1: or WhatsApp us at 9005097. And by the way, if
- 26:28Speaker 1: you do like your answer, a nice dining experience to
- 26:31Speaker 1: Novotel Singapore.
- 26:32Speaker 1: It is coming your way. Do you care where something
- 26:36Speaker 1: is made? Let us know. There'll be a, well, as
- 26:39Speaker 1: of 2027, they'll be shifting production overseas to Malaysia and Vietnam.
- 26:45Speaker 1: It will no longer be brewed in Singapore. It's quite sad.
- 26:49Speaker 1: A national icon from 1932, social media comments, of course,
- 26:53Speaker 1: coming in. People are saying, can we do what we
- 26:55Speaker 1: can to maybe keep a small
- 26:57Speaker 1: bit here in Singapore. Kind of like what Joyce is
- 27:00Speaker 1: saying on WhatsApp, who goes, while it makes business sense
- 27:03Speaker 1: for Tiger Brewery to move large scale production out of Singapore,
- 27:08Speaker 1: I believe they should retain a small local brewing capability
- 27:11Speaker 1: for R&D and to preserve the brand's Singapore heritage. Sad
- 27:16Speaker 1: for some staff losing their job. Why does it make
- 27:19Speaker 1: sense to still keep it? Preserve
- 27:21Speaker 1: Serves Singapore identity of the brand, supports innovation, keeps made
- 27:25Speaker 1: in Singapore heritage alive, and it matches Singapore's strength as
- 27:29Speaker 1: a high-value hub, not manufacturing base. And one more text
- 27:34Speaker 1: coming in, I wanna say hello to Carol on WhatsApp. Morning, Joe.
- 27:39Speaker 1: I definitely care about where things are made or packaged.
- 27:42Speaker 1: For example, frozen seafood, I would check.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Um, before coming to Singapore, a lot of middle logistics
- 27:50Speaker 1: that could go wrong with the freezing or thawing if
- 27:52Speaker 1: it's packed elsewhere. And for example, this particular brand that
- 27:56Speaker 1: I look for, Sava from Norway, but it's processed in Vietnam.
- 28:01Speaker 1: So to me, the processing is not very transparent. I
- 28:05Speaker 1: might avoid. Keep the calls and texts coming in over
- 28:08Speaker 1: at 66.
- 28:08Speaker 1: 911987 or 90050987. Do you care where something is made?
- 28:15Speaker 1: By 2027, our friends over at Tiger Beer, APB who
- 28:19Speaker 1: are under the Heineken umbrella, it will no longer be
- 28:22Speaker 1: produced in Singapore or brewed in Singapore. They're shifting production overseas,
- 28:26Speaker 1: but Singapore will still be the hub for the R&D
- 28:29Speaker 1: and and and all that.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Just hoping they keep a small little brewery so we
- 28:34Speaker 1: can all still enjoy something that's made in Singapore from
- 28:36Speaker 1: Singapore since 1932. A national icon now. Wanna go to WhatsApp.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Today's question, do you care where something is made? Username
- 28:45Speaker 1: typing on WhatsApp. Morning, Joakim. My mother-in-law will also do
- 28:50Speaker 1: the same as Yasmin's dad. Yasmin called in earlier saying
- 28:53Speaker 1: her dad will look at all the labels made in
- 28:56Speaker 1: this country, made in that country. Oh, OK, that one's better.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Let's buy that one instead.
- 29:00Speaker 1: So Taiping says, morning Joakim. My mother-in-law will do the same.
- 29:03Speaker 1: For example, we went to Japan for holidays and we
- 29:06Speaker 1: stepped into Daiso. She will start looking at where the
- 29:09Speaker 1: products are made in. If it's anywhere else, she'll put
- 29:12Speaker 1: it back. She said it is more worth.
- 29:15Speaker 1: to buy made in Japan products. Gonna go to the
- 29:18Speaker 1: phone lines at 669-119-87. Josh, do you care where something
- 29:22Speaker 1: is made? Yeah, I think it's, of course, and Singapore brands, right?
- 29:30Speaker 1: I think it gives us that kind of badge of
- 29:32Speaker 1: honor to have something that's made in Singapore, but I,
- 29:35Speaker 1: I think, but when we talk about meat in Singapore,
- 29:39Speaker 1: we have to consider the reality of this global supply
- 29:41Speaker 1: chain meat.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Many homegrown brands like I think you mentioned about Adidas,
- 29:46Speaker 1: you mentioned about Nike where the where our football jerseys
- 29:50Speaker 1: are being made overseas, so they have to rethink where
- 29:52Speaker 1: they do their productions, but to be really honest in
- 29:56Speaker 1: the context of Tiger beer, I think we can say
- 29:59Speaker 1: we can take made in Singapore in another context.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Given like, I think the news reported that the R&D
- 30:06Speaker 1: facilities and higher value development, um, remains in Singapore lah.
- 30:11Speaker 1: So in that way we can say meet in Singapore
- 30:15Speaker 1: is we looked in that context. Thank you so much
- 30:17Speaker 1: for all your calls and texts this morning. Quite happy
- 30:20Speaker 1: it actually kind of took off here on 987 about
- 30:23Speaker 1: whether you care where something is made. Um, to maybe
- 30:27Speaker 1: paint you a picture of the outrage or the mild
- 30:30Speaker 1: outrage people are facing, right?
- 30:33Speaker 1: I it's almost as if, if one day Ireland were
- 30:36Speaker 1: to announce, OK, we are no longer producing Guinness stout
- 30:40Speaker 1: in Ireland.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Yes, I think that one there will be a worldwide outrage.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Her brand new album drops this Friday, so hopefully you
- 30:50Speaker 1: have it pre-saved on your favorite streaming platforms. So if
- 30:53Speaker 1: you're interested in buying physical copies, I'll let you know
- 30:56Speaker 1: when the CD or the vinyl record is available. That
- 30:59Speaker 1: song was called Nightingale Lane, by the way. Thank you
- 31:02Speaker 1: so much for all your calls and texts about how
- 31:04Speaker 1: you feel and whether do you care about where something
- 31:07Speaker 1: is made inspired by the news about Tiger Beer and
- 31:09Speaker 1: all that. For
- 31:11Speaker 1: Today's winner of a nice dining experience, all thanks to
- 31:14Speaker 1: our friends over at Novotel Singapore. We are giving you
- 31:17Speaker 1: a Steven's Sunday brunch at Food Exchange for two worth $240.
- 31:25Speaker 1: They got freshly shucked oysters, prawns, lobsters, live cooking stations,
- 31:30Speaker 1: and a complimentary bottle of Prosecco for every 2 adults,
- 31:34Speaker 1: and it's also family-friendly. While you dine, the kids can
- 31:37Speaker 1: enjoy weekly rotating.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Activities such as bouncy balloon houses, coloring, balloon sculpting, and
- 31:43Speaker 1: face painting. And there's a very special Easter edition on
- 31:48Speaker 1: the 5th of April, so don't miss the Easter-themed Sunday
- 31:51Speaker 1: brunch featuring festive treats and live cooking stations, and there'll
- 31:55Speaker 1: be an Easter egg hunt for the kids. If you
- 31:57Speaker 1: want to find out more details, you can log on
- 31:59Speaker 1: to Novotel Stevens on Instagram. But for today's winner, I
- 32:03Speaker 1: wanna give it to Yasmin who called us earlier. Thank
- 32:05Speaker 1: you very much, Yasmin.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Enjoy this. Maybe bring your dad as well, and your dad,
- 32:11Speaker 1: I know is very particular about where things are made in,
- 32:14Speaker 1: but the food over here, it is fantastic. Tell your dad, relax, dad,
- 32:19Speaker 1: I got it. Wake up.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Good next season.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Kicking off your day in the best way. It's Sonia
- 32:26Speaker 1: and Joakim on the shock circuit. In less than 10 minutes,
- 32:30Speaker 1: how about playing for your Ks shopping vouchers worth $100
- 32:35Speaker 1: on a game that we call Over the Top or not.
- 32:38Speaker 1: I'll explain it to you in just a bit. Keep
- 32:40Speaker 1: it here on 987. It is Joakim Gomez, keeping you company.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Singapore's number one hit music station.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Smith and now Horen with drive a safe, something that
- 32:51Speaker 1: you should be doing if you're on the roads here
- 32:52Speaker 1: in Singapore or anywhere around the world. If you just
- 32:55Speaker 1: joined us, welcome to the shock circuit. We are playing
- 32:58Speaker 1: for your caught shopping vouchers in less than 5 minutes,
- 33:01Speaker 1: but for now, um, food news, but nothing food related.
- 33:06Speaker 1: It's more of your booking platforms. So, here we go. 123,
- 33:10Speaker 1: food news. Food news. Joking with the sad food news. OK.
- 33:16Speaker 1: I was years old when I realized it's pronounced Kwandu. Yeah,
- 33:23Speaker 1: because I honestly thought the name was a play on
- 33:26Speaker 1: this song.
- 33:33Speaker 1: So yes, uh, restaurant booking pla I I feel so
- 33:36Speaker 1: embarrassed now. Restaurant booking platform Kwandu, it will be ceasing
- 33:41Speaker 1: operations by December 31st, 2026, but you can still book, browse,
- 33:47Speaker 1: and earn or redeem your loyalty points until
- 33:50Speaker 1: September 30th. That gives you a very good six months
- 33:54Speaker 1: to do so. I think it's another business edition that's
- 33:56Speaker 1: pulling operations out of Singapore, but there are plenty of
- 33:59Speaker 1: other table reservations available. I think our friends over at Google,
- 34:04Speaker 1: what was the other one? 7 rooms, 7,
- 34:07Speaker 1: Yeah, it it is gives you right now, and I
- 34:09Speaker 1: think most restaurants now could be doing direct bookings, so
- 34:13Speaker 1: you either call them or you go online and find
- 34:16Speaker 1: their website and make a reservation. So there you go. Again,
- 34:19Speaker 1: if you're on Kwandu and not Kwando, make sure you
- 34:23Speaker 1: use your loyalty points and you can still make your
- 34:25Speaker 1: bookings till September 30th. And OK, when we come back
- 34:29Speaker 1: after the ad break, we're playing for your courts $100.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Dollar shopping experience on a game we call Over the
- 34:36Speaker 1: Top or not. All this inspired by Kotz's over the
- 34:40Speaker 1: top sales. So you being over the top is a
- 34:43Speaker 1: great thing for our friends over at Kurtz. You not
- 34:46Speaker 1: being over the top, then yeah, go elsewhere. Courts only
- 34:50Speaker 1: really wants you if you're over the top because they
- 34:53Speaker 1: got massive discounts. Imagine this, up to 70%.
- 34:57Speaker 1: And off with lowest price guaranteed, and every Wednesday, there'll
- 35:02Speaker 1: be new star buys and it's specially selected items curated
- 35:06Speaker 1: by courts to give you the excitement and to attract
- 35:09Speaker 1: you to go on down. And another interesting fact is this,
- 35:14Speaker 1: Kurz never closes and it's open all year. As long
- 35:17Speaker 1: as you order by 3 p.m. you'll get it delivered
- 35:20Speaker 1: within the same day.
- 35:21Speaker 1: When we come back, the phone lines will be open
- 35:23Speaker 1: over at 669-119-87. Be on standby. Very happy to say
- 35:27Speaker 1: the phone lines are open over at 669-119-87. We are
- 35:31Speaker 1: playing over the top or not for your courts shopping
- 35:35Speaker 1: experience worth $100. So please call us. I'll give you
- 35:38Speaker 1: two statements. One is pertaining to Sonia and I, the
- 35:41Speaker 1: other one is courts. And remember, courts, they are looking
- 35:45Speaker 1: for over the.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Top behavior to celebrate what they have for you. Discounts
- 35:50Speaker 1: of up to 70%. If courts aren't going over the top, I, I,
- 35:55Speaker 1: I don't know then how they will do it in
- 35:57Speaker 1: other methods. But yes, they want you. And don't forget,
- 36:00Speaker 1: look out for Star Buys every Wednesday from now till
- 36:03Speaker 1: April 7th. So again, call us 669-119-87. Wanna say good
- 36:08Speaker 1: morning to Celine who called us earlier. Unfortunately,
- 36:12Speaker 1: The opinion she had about the court statements that I
- 36:15Speaker 1: gave her, including myself as well. It wasn't too over
- 36:19Speaker 1: the top, but it's OK. You know what that means?
- 36:21Speaker 1: You have another chance to call us over at 669-011-987.
- 36:25Speaker 1: We are playing over the top, and our friends over

- 36:30Speaker 1: the morning show for the entire week here on 98.

- 36:35Speaker 1: us 669-11987 as you play over the top or not
- 36:39Speaker 1: for your $100 shopping experience. OK. Listen very carefully and
- 36:44Speaker 1: here we go. The first question is pertaining to Sonia
- 36:47Speaker 1: and I, OK, you ready? Yes, I am. I secretly
- 36:51Speaker 1: stocked the studio drawer with her favorite snacks, so she'll
- 36:54Speaker 1: never go hungry during our show. Is this over the
- 36:58Speaker 1: top behavior or is this just normal?
- 37:02Speaker 1: Over the top. Over the top. Why so?
- 37:06Speaker 1: Like stalker lah, weird, right?
- 37:09Speaker 1: OK. Given our friendship, I think I should know her already.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Our next statement, it's a random weekday morning. You took
- 37:15Speaker 1: leave to rest, but your cousin goes, hey, perfect timing.
- 37:18Speaker 1: People are all at work. Let's go to court and
- 37:21Speaker 1: buy a television, no crowd, and drags you out. Is
- 37:25Speaker 1: this over the top or not?
- 37:27Speaker 1: Hey, over the top, over the top. It is definitely
- 37:29Speaker 1: over the top because they're having 70% sales. Go enjoy
- 37:33Speaker 1: without a crowd. Isaiah, congratulations, buddy, that $100 shopping experience
- 37:37Speaker 1: coming your way. Well done.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Well, that was Isaiah Sta with a $100 shopping voucher,
- 37:44Speaker 1: all thanks to Kurtz, and this game segment is brought
- 37:47Speaker 1: to you by Kurtz. Take your shopping over the top
- 37:50Speaker 1: with unbeatable deals at Kurs Shop in-store or visit Kurtz.com.sg today.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Next Tuesday, if you're a football fan and if you
- 38:01Speaker 1: have nothing to do at night, if you can get
- 38:04Speaker 1: a ticket.
- 38:05Speaker 1: And go on down to the National Stadium, the Kallang,
- 38:08Speaker 1: to support Singapore as we do our best to ensure
- 38:12Speaker 1: our unbeaten run to qualifying for the Asian Cup. We've
- 38:15Speaker 1: qualified already, but it'll be nice to end it in
- 38:19Speaker 1: style unbeaten as we take on Bangladesh again, 31st of March.
- 38:24Speaker 1: And usually, you know how on Tuesdays, some of our
- 38:27Speaker 1: 987 jocks will go on TikTok Live. I think previously
- 38:30Speaker 1: it was Jermaine.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Last week was with Avery. Next week, next Tuesday will
- 38:34Speaker 1: be my turn, and I specifically chose that date. I
- 38:37Speaker 1: wanna go live at the National Stadium, give you all
- 38:39Speaker 1: the action for a bit before kickoff. Maybe speak to
- 38:42Speaker 1: a few fans and go find Jarvis and the Singer brigade.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Gotta tell Jarvis, Jarvis, you're live. Keep it clean. Don't
- 38:48Speaker 1: say any naughty language. But yes, and by the way,
- 38:51Speaker 1: if you haven't seen it yet, please go on to
- 38:53Speaker 1: FAS Singapore, FAA Singapore.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Instagram page, the ad they released featuring our coach, Gavin. Oh,
- 39:01Speaker 1: what a beautifully shot ad. Made me feel goosebumps. So again,
- 39:06Speaker 1: hope to see you at the National Stadium next Tuesday.
- 39:10Speaker 1: In this song, How Bad Do You Want Me by
- 39:13Speaker 1: Lady Gaga, but I still believe she's on it as
- 39:15Speaker 1: a very big
- 39:17Speaker 1: An obvious Easter egg and just Lady Gaga being very
- 39:20Speaker 1: coy about it. Anyway, it's Joakim Gomez about to hand
- 39:23Speaker 1: you over to Anne Nicole for lunch date, your next
- 39:27Speaker 1: shot at $5000. It happens on her show and in
- 39:32Speaker 1: case you missed it earlier, for the shock circuit, at
- 39:36Speaker 1: least for Sonia and I, I'm officially banning four guesses.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Clicking of a pen.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Stappler, hole puncher, and typewriter. So these four guesses, it's
- 39:45Speaker 1: confirmed wrong. It's not the answer. It's been said too
- 39:48Speaker 1: many times over the last 2 or 3 weeks already,
- 39:51Speaker 1: and I hear something about a snowball that could happen
- 39:56Speaker 1: very soon. So maybe next week, if nobody gets the
- 39:59Speaker 1: answer right by tomorrow, we could play for $6000. Keep
- 40:03Speaker 1: it here on 987.
