- 1:19Speaker 2: The popcorn moment, Let's go, Let's go, Let's go, let's go.
- 1:21Speaker 1: It's a story you need to hear to believe. Then
- 1:26Speaker 1: grab your popcorn because there is more a couple of
- 1:31Speaker 1: things to get to. Of course, President Trump meant with
- 1:34Speaker 1: jijinping there in South Korea. He was very happy with
- 1:37Speaker 1: the whole South Korea visit.
- 1:39Speaker 2: For sure. I think this trip has worked out well
- 1:42Speaker 2: for him. He's on his way back to the United
- 1:44Speaker 2: States right now. If he's not already back.
- 1:46Speaker 1: With the time zone changes, I'm not one hundred percent
- 1:49Speaker 1: sure that's happening.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Then there is.
- 1:55Speaker 1: As we have been following here, and producer Carl was like,
- 1:58Speaker 1: have you been talking about the commerce driver's license issue.
- 2:01Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, yes, absolutely.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Just because you were on assigner for three weeks doesn't
- 2:06Speaker 1: mean I wasn't doing my job. And this is about
- 2:09Speaker 1: how states like California and others have issued commercial driver's
- 2:13Speaker 1: licenses to people who don't speak English, people who are
- 2:16Speaker 1: not citizens. Now something that we should be discussing in
- 2:21Speaker 1: Indiana to the extent that I understand any of the
- 2:25Speaker 1: laws regarding commercial driver's licenses that are already on the books.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I claim no expertise.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Here a confirmation that you have to be able to
- 2:34Speaker 1: be proficient in English in order to get a commercial
- 2:36Speaker 1: driver's license from the state of Indiana.
- 2:38Speaker 2: That should be essential.
- 2:39Speaker 1: And anybody is like, that's bigoted. I really don't care.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I'm going to keep people alive. We're right and you're wrong,
- 2:45Speaker 1: and that's that, and let's fight. I'm going to show
- 2:49Speaker 1: you the videos of people losing their lives from drivers
- 2:53Speaker 1: commercial driver's license holders who didn't understand the rules of
- 2:57Speaker 1: the road, weren't in the country legally, and I'm I'm
- 3:00Speaker 1: going to show you these people getting killed. And now
- 3:02Speaker 1: you tell me why you have some other argument that matters.
- 3:06Speaker 1: There's no other argument that matters. Even if you were
- 3:10Speaker 1: to argue that some other should be allowed in the country,
- 3:12Speaker 1: you don't have that argument. So let's stop it. Everybody
- 3:16Speaker 1: be a grown up. This is an everybody agree on it,
- 3:18Speaker 1: and the people who don't agree on it, those people
- 3:21Speaker 1: are really into death and destruction. Indiana should be very,
- 3:25Speaker 1: very focused on being a leader as the Crosshoads of
- 3:28Speaker 1: America as being a leader on this subject. But of
- 3:33Speaker 1: course one of the things that we have discussed is
- 3:38Speaker 1: gen Z.
- 3:40Speaker 2: And you know I brought up the other day that
- 3:43Speaker 2: has this group.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Turning points really engage this idea of revival. Are kids
- 3:50Speaker 1: becoming more religious? I'm not one hundred percent sure. You
- 3:54Speaker 1: can show me photos, and you can show me anecdotal evidence.
- 3:58Speaker 2: I'm talking about as a generation. What I do believe
- 4:02Speaker 2: is true based on data and based yes, on anecdotal
- 4:05Speaker 2: So putting them both together is that.
- 4:07Speaker 1: While I don't know that they are more conservative generation,
- 4:12Speaker 1: they certainly have looked at millennial nonsense and said, my god,
- 4:16Speaker 1: I want no part of that. They're not millennials. They're
- 4:21Speaker 1: a very different group. They remind me a little bit
- 4:24Speaker 1: more of Gen X. This was I can't even believe
- 4:27Speaker 1: I'm saying it. This was reason nick Lesbie. I think
- 4:31Speaker 1: talking to Jake Tapper, I.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Think gen Z is going to be a lot more conservative.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I think that just my experience knowing gen Z kids,
- 4:39Speaker 1: my kids and their friends and whatever, I sense much
- 4:43Speaker 1: more skepticism of.
- 4:44Speaker 2: And I think it is a reaction to.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Gen xers and millennials forcing on them progressive views. I
- 4:57Speaker 1: want to argue that gen X didn't force those views,
- 5:00Speaker 1: just didn't do enough with a millennial generation to stop
- 5:04Speaker 1: them from forcing the views. Now I don't like being
- 5:09Speaker 1: in concert with Jake Tapper. Jake Tapper should not be trusting.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Jake Tapper should be fired. But the echoing of this
- 5:18Speaker 1: thing that I've noticed, and I'm very possibly you've noticed,
- 5:24Speaker 1: there's a lot of hope for them, a lot of
- 5:28Speaker 1: faith in gen Z. Now this gets, you know, tempered
- 5:32Speaker 1: by what we're seeing in New York with this bigot
- 5:36Speaker 1: mom Donnie, who will be the next mayor. I mean,
- 5:39Speaker 1: this is just happening. New York is going to be finished,
- 5:43Speaker 1: and we should be going after New York businesses aggressively,
- 5:46Speaker 1: which will lead us to another conversation, which is the
- 5:50Speaker 1: economic dark ages that we are in. And while there
- 5:53Speaker 1: are things from Governor Brown I support, there are things
- 5:55Speaker 1: that I don't, and they need to start hearing this.
- 6:00Speaker 1: There is no economic plan, the economic plan of well,
- 6:02Speaker 1: it's all about Main Street ain't working, ain't working, You're wrong.
- 6:07Speaker 2: We are going to discuss this. It's going to be
- 6:09Speaker 2: un fun for some, but can't worry about that. Gen Z.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I don't know if they're more conservative, but if they're
- 6:18Speaker 1: pushing away from the nonsense saying I don't know where
- 6:21Speaker 1: I am over here, but that's stuff that millennial woke
- 6:24Speaker 1: garbage crap is woke garbage crap, and I don't want
- 6:27Speaker 1: any part of it. Good on you, and if you're
- 6:29Speaker 1: the generation after that heading to school, hey, have a
- 6:31Speaker 1: great day, and you're right, don't be led by your emotions.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Emotions are good for your friends, not good for policy
- 6:40Speaker 1: in the way to live a life. Nope, I'm happy
- 6:43Speaker 1: to talk more about it with you. Thank your parents
- 6:45Speaker 1: for keeping the radio on, all right,
