- 1:10SPEAKER_03: How you good?
- 1:12SPEAKER_04: We're in the building, figuratively speaking.
- 1:15SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 1:16SPEAKER_04: What's going down?
- 1:17SPEAKER_04: How y'all doing, man?
- 1:18SPEAKER_03: I just gotta say, it's good to see you still.
- 1:20SPEAKER_03: It's good to see you still out here doing the thing.
- 1:22SPEAKER_03: You know what I mean?
- 1:23SPEAKER_03: Looking like you're 20 years old out here with the music and the way you're moving outside, man.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: Man, absolutely.
- 1:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah, let's talk about it.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: So, TI, they're saying this is your last album?
- 1:31unknown: Yeah.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: Is this a fact?
- 1:35SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's a fact.
- 1:36SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna put it, yeah.
- 1:37SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna put my put my jersey in the rafters after the whole.
- 1:40SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: I'm just saying, back in back in the days for us, like when in New York City as a DJ, this is a DJ's podcast.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: So in New York City, like that first record that that hit us, for me personally, was the 24s, right?
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: And we're talking about 25 years ago, more or less, right?
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: 23 years ago.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: And um, you know, it's been a long journey, long journey.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: This being your last album, you know, um let's talk about it.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 2:11SPEAKER_03: Why was this the right time, though, to make an album called Kill the King?
- 2:14SPEAKER_03: Why was now the right time to make this type of album and name it that?
- 2:18SPEAKER_04: Um Well, I always knew that that Kill the King would be the name to my to my final album.
- 2:23SPEAKER_04: And, you know, um that was something that that came to me, uh, man, back as early as like 2001.
- 2:33SPEAKER_04: You know, I was asking everybody that I respected, you know, in the game, all of my predecessors, like uh Outcast and Goody Mob and UGK and A-Ball, MJG, Scuffrey.
- 2:44SPEAKER_04: Like I asked all of them how they felt about me presenting myself to the world as King of the South, and they all gave me their blessing.
- 2:52SPEAKER_04: Uh Big Boy gave me some more game.
- 2:54SPEAKER_04: No, he wanna he wanna step further.
- 2:56SPEAKER_04: He he he told me.
- 2:57SPEAKER_04: He said, Yeah, you can say that, but you know you're gonna be putting the bullseye on your back and you can't expect no favors.
- 3:03SPEAKER_04: He said, Cause uh life is like a game of chess, and and the name of the game in chess is The Kill the King.
- 3:09SPEAKER_04: And so I always knew, you know, I always knew then that would be the name of my last album.
- 3:15SPEAKER_04: But um Kill the King is like a metaphor though to me for for killing the ego.
- 3:20SPEAKER_02: Got it.
- 3:21SPEAKER_02: That's what's up.
- 3:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 3:22SPEAKER_02: But we're proud of your work, we're proud of your work ethic and everything.
- 3:25SPEAKER_03: And this album, real quick, the the about, you know what I mean, retirement and reinvention, or is it some completely entirely different from those two things I just mentioned?
- 3:34SPEAKER_04: What you mean?
- 3:35SPEAKER_03: Like, is it is it an album of reinventing T.I.
- 3:38SPEAKER_03: or is it an album entirely in regards to, you know, the retirement of T.I.
- 3:42SPEAKER_04: I don't think it's I don't think it's a consideration of either.
- 3:45SPEAKER_04: You know what I mean?
- 3:46SPEAKER_04: I think um, man, it's just me, it's just me popping it, man.
- 3:51SPEAKER_04: Uh you like showing where I am in life right now, what I got going on, how I feel about things, my perspective, uh, my my uh epiphany things I've learned.
- 4:05SPEAKER_04: Yeah, uh evolution, growth, you know what I'm saying?
- 4:09SPEAKER_04: This it's just uh it's just speaking, it's speaking the same way I would speak as if it wasn't my last album.
- 4:15SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 4:16SPEAKER_03: And on this album, is it is it um, is it anything that you want to leave on the table before closing this chapter?
- 4:23SPEAKER_04: What that means, anything I want to leave on the table.
- 4:24SPEAKER_04: I just want, you know.
- 4:25SPEAKER_03: Like is it like if you leave something on the table, you you you bound to come back to it.
- 4:30SPEAKER_03: Or you just taking it all with you and you're done.
- 4:34SPEAKER_04: Man, I mean, bro, I ain't really got no crystal ball.
- 4:38SPEAKER_04: I just know, I know that I can't really ask the game for much more.
- 4:42SPEAKER_04: I've gotten everything I prayed for, you know what I'm saying?
- 4:45SPEAKER_04: The game has been good to me.
- 4:48SPEAKER_04: So, you know what I'm saying?
- 4:49SPEAKER_04: I think that uh this being the 25th anniversary of my first album, and the 20th anniversary of the King album, I knew that these, you know, anniversaries would would be coming up this year.
- 5:03SPEAKER_04: So, you know, while I'm speaking on that, I may as well, you know, take this time to introduce my last project as well.
- 5:11SPEAKER_04: I think a 25-year run, man, that's that's that's pretty damn good.
- 5:15SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
- 5:17SPEAKER_03: It is amazing.
- 5:19SPEAKER_03: Shit.
- 5:20SPEAKER_03: No, no, some people don't even make it a month.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: 25 years more, see how when you first started, um when you first started, did you ever see yourself actually hitting the screen and doing movies?
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: Like, was that your thing back, you know, or was that something that just happened during the during the journey?
- 5:39SPEAKER_04: Well, I mean, that was always the definite intention, you know what I'm saying?
- 5:43SPEAKER_04: I knew if things went well, that that would be a part of it.
- 5:47SPEAKER_04: Uh, you know, because I I I definitely looked to my my predecessors and, you know, the people that came before me, like, like LL and Ice Cube and Pac and You know what I'm saying, and Will Smith and you know what I mean, Queen Lativa.
- 6:03SPEAKER_04: Like I knew that if my career went the way I wanted it to go, that that would definitely be a part of.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: Cause doing, you know, doing American Gangster and being next to Denzel Washington, like that to me is Denzel Washington, one of my favorites.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: So it's like that's the top of the top, you know.
- 6:21SPEAKER_04: Yeah, definitely.
- 6:22SPEAKER_04: I mean, to me, man, Denzel, man, that's that's the goat.
- 6:25SPEAKER_04: That's the goat of our acceleration.
- 6:27SPEAKER_04: Facts.
- 6:28SPEAKER_03: And yeah, man, yo, T.
- 6:31SPEAKER_03: I, whatever the hell they said for him to represent on that thing, he fucking represented the fuck out of that.
- 6:36SPEAKER_03: And I'm gonna tell you the real.
- 6:37SPEAKER_03: Like, he like oh, like we mentioned before, like T.I.
- 6:40SPEAKER_03: used to come to the Bronx and all that.
- 6:42SPEAKER_03: We was like, yeah, that's where he got all that shit from.
- 6:44SPEAKER_03: You know what I'm saying?
- 6:45SPEAKER_04: Like, like, I mean, they were Asgun and Harlem.
- 6:49SPEAKER_03: Right, right.
- 6:49SPEAKER_03: But that role, man, you ate that shit up.
- 6:53SPEAKER_03: So I'm saying, he ate that up.
- 6:55SPEAKER_03: And I was like, look at T on his New York shit.
- 6:58SPEAKER_03: Fuck it all the way up, man.
- 6:59SPEAKER_03: Go ahead, King.
- 7:00SPEAKER_02: I mean, did you work with Chris Roberts in this project?
- 7:04SPEAKER_04: Yeah, man.
- 7:05SPEAKER_04: Me and Chris actually, we did the lat me and Chris worked together.
- 7:08SPEAKER_04: We did the last video.
- 7:09SPEAKER_04: We did Trauma Bond um together.
- 7:13SPEAKER_02: So I was that, you know, just being able to build right back with your boy.
- 7:17SPEAKER_02: A lot of you guys don't know Chris directly in ATL.
- 7:20SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 7:21SPEAKER_04: I mean, man, me and Chris has always been connected, man.
- 7:24SPEAKER_04: He's he's definitely family.
- 7:26SPEAKER_04: Uh, we're working on the next video.
- 7:27SPEAKER_04: We're gonna we're gonna enter, we're gonna present this next video to you uh momentarily.
- 7:31SPEAKER_04: It's uh a song with me and Summer Walker called Won't.
- 7:36SPEAKER_04: And um we're we're we're we're gonna and he directed that as well.
- 7:40SPEAKER_04: We shot that coincidentally um on the day of the celebration of the 20th anniversary for ATL.
- 7:48SPEAKER_02: Is there ever gonna be a part two to ATL man?
- 7:51SPEAKER_02: That combo's behind, right?
- 7:54SPEAKER_04: I mean, you know, it's kind of like a run-on conversation.
- 7:57SPEAKER_04: It's you know what I'm saying?
- 7:59SPEAKER_04: It's a continuous discussion.
- 8:01SPEAKER_04: Hey, I think it can happen, bro.
- 8:03SPEAKER_04: Everybody still here, everybody You know, it's really about it's really about the story.
- 8:08SPEAKER_04: It's all about the story.
- 8:09SPEAKER_04: Where are these people, where are these people in their lives right now, the characters like where's Esquire?
- 8:15SPEAKER_04: What is Nunu doing?
- 8:17SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
- 8:18SPEAKER_04: What are the twins doing?
- 8:19SPEAKER_04: What's Teddy doing?
- 8:21SPEAKER_04: You know, like what's Brooklyn doing there?
- 8:23SPEAKER_04: Like, it's it's really about the story, how it brings these people, what brings them back together after all this time.
- 8:30SPEAKER_04: You know what I mean?
- 8:31SPEAKER_02: You think you still nice on the roller skates?
- 8:34SPEAKER_04: I know I can skate.
- 8:38SPEAKER_04: You know, I don't know how nice I how nice I am compared to how I was then.
- 8:44SPEAKER_04: I think Chris's still nice with the camera, so we'll be all right.
- 8:48SPEAKER_03: Hey man, you fix that all up in the edit.
- 8:50SPEAKER_03: Don't worry about it, man.
- 8:52SPEAKER_02: What's the difference between working with like a Chris Robinson and a Hype Williams?
- 8:56SPEAKER_02: What's the difference?
- 8:57SPEAKER_04: Um probably uh man, probably probably probably a a plan.
- 9:07SPEAKER_04: Like Chris is meticulous.
- 9:09SPEAKER_04: Chris is meticulous to sticking to the script and the plan that he has set forth, like a schedule, you know what I mean?
- 9:18SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 9:19SPEAKER_04: He wants this shot at this at this time, and he goes, then he's gonna move to this shot, then he's gonna go to this location.
- 9:25SPEAKER_04: And with hype, man, we just running and gunning and shooting and doing, and you know, we might think of some shit right now and go do that.
- 9:32SPEAKER_04: And you know what I mean?
- 9:33SPEAKER_04: It's it's more it's more spontaneous and sporadic with hype, um, which is more which is really more so how I kind of work.
- 9:42SPEAKER_04: Uh, but then Chris is very meticulously like just to to the T of it's it's 9 30.
- 9:49SPEAKER_04: We should be doing this, you know what I mean?
- 9:51SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 9:51SPEAKER_04: Which which also gives uh a lot of organization to to the creation and and it allows us, you know, to present something um, I guess, more thought out.
- 10:04SPEAKER_02: That's what's up.
- 10:05SPEAKER_04: It's kind of like the difference than painting a picture where you saying, I'm gonna paint this.
- 10:10SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna paint the the Empire State Building versus a motherfucker doing some basket shit and doing abstract.
- 10:19SPEAKER_02: We're clear now.
- 10:20SPEAKER_02: I get it.
- 10:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah, what was another Netflix we had d back in the days with Paul Walker, Idris Alba, and Chris Brown?
- 10:26SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah, that's uh Takers.
- 10:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that Takers for the Using your bag on people.
- 10:33SPEAKER_02: Not to be on some weird shit, but you cleaned up very well, my brother.
- 10:37SPEAKER_02: And when you put that suit on, you look great, King.
- 10:40SPEAKER_01: Nah.
- 10:41SPEAKER_04: I'm just saying, you look great, King.
- 10:42SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 10:43SPEAKER_02: Like that role, I can see you with that.
- 10:45SPEAKER_04: I mean, they make the motherfuckers, they make them in your size too, you know?
- 10:49SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 10:51SPEAKER_02: I don't get a fucked up.
- 10:52SPEAKER_02: I I get cleaned up nice too.
- 10:53SPEAKER_02: I do.
- 10:54SPEAKER_02: You say what?
- 10:55SPEAKER_02: I get cleaned up nice too.
- 10:57SPEAKER_03: Hey, real quick, Jim, how um how involved are you with the work that uh Domani's putting in and Messiah?
- 11:04SPEAKER_03: Like, how involved are you with their work?
- 11:07SPEAKER_04: None.
- 11:07SPEAKER_04: I have no involvement.
- 11:09SPEAKER_04: They don't they don't let me in the studio when they in uh they, you know what I'm saying?
- 11:14SPEAKER_04: They just do their own shit.
- 11:16SPEAKER_04: Um, you know, King will come as my opinion.
- 11:18SPEAKER_04: King King will come and speak to me and get, you know, bounce, bounce ideas off of me and shit.
- 11:25SPEAKER_04: Uh but but creatively, they'll let me hear their shit after it's done.
- 11:30SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
- 11:31SPEAKER_04: Like after they through with it, they'll bring it to me.
- 11:34SPEAKER_02: Um That's how my son does me.
- 11:36SPEAKER_02: Same shit.
- 11:38SPEAKER_04: But yeah, they don't they don't come and like ask me before they get to working.
- 11:45SPEAKER_03: But but but but you there they lend the ear and at least boom, boom, boom, move this, move that.
- 11:49SPEAKER_03: You know what I mean?
- 11:50SPEAKER_03: Or they just like you.
- 11:52SPEAKER_04: I'm always there.
- 11:54SPEAKER_04: I'm always there for whatever they need, bruh.
- 11:56SPEAKER_04: It just I don't think they feel like they need shit.
- 11:59SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
- 12:01SPEAKER_04: I think that's it.
- 12:02SPEAKER_04: I think they feel like they got it.
- 12:04SPEAKER_00: I think that's typical in kids.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: Like, we all got kids in this, in this, in this chat, right?
- 12:08SPEAKER_03: At the same time, I see it as the kids just want to be like, yo, I got it.
- 12:11SPEAKER_03: I know you're there for me, but let me ride this out alone.
- 12:14SPEAKER_03: But if I you know what I mean, if I hit that bump on the road, I know you got my back no matter what.
- 12:17SPEAKER_03: Cause for sure, E, if he comes to you about a B, and of course T.I.
- 12:22SPEAKER_03: and if the boys come to you about the rap, you're gonna they understand that your ear or your pen, you know what I mean, can add to what they got going on.
- 12:30SPEAKER_03: You know what I'm saying?
- 12:31SPEAKER_04: But they just don't want to show you that I don't need that right now because I got Yeah, I think it's a testament to the to the human beings that that that you've raised.
- 12:39SPEAKER_04: You know, it shows that, you know, they don't have a fear in facing challenges alone, you know.
- 12:46SPEAKER_04: They they they got confidence within their ability to figure it out and to make it happen for themselves.
- 12:53SPEAKER_04: And I think, you know, that's that's commendable and respectable.
- 12:56SPEAKER_04: Um I just, you know, I I think that what they will do, they'll come to me like, you know, if they if they need a sample clear, you know what I'm saying, and and they need to know who to call.
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: Uh you know what I mean?
- 13:08SPEAKER_04: Like Jim Germanic just did a record where I think he sampled Never Scared.
- 13:13SPEAKER_04: And he was like, hey man, uh, can you call, it's a JD got this record.
- 13:18SPEAKER_04: So can you you can hit JD for Emmy or you can call Killer Mike and Bone Crusher and yeah, tell him, you know, handle this for every fleet.
- 13:26SPEAKER_04: You know what I mean?
- 13:26SPEAKER_04: He he do shit like that.
- 13:28SPEAKER_04: He he don't need he don't need my help on no down in no studio in no like right now.
- 13:32SPEAKER_03: And then needless to say, you proud every single time.
- 13:35SPEAKER_03: Cause I mean, them boys is they going hard, man.
- 13:37SPEAKER_03: Like you can tell, like, yo, we've been around this, man.
- 13:41SPEAKER_03: We've been ready for this, you know what I'm saying?
- 13:43SPEAKER_03: And the way they present themselves, yo, the way they present themselves is like, yo, they've been doing this shit for a minute, dog.
- 13:49SPEAKER_03: Like, it's beautiful to see that.
- 13:50SPEAKER_03: You know what I mean?
- 13:51SPEAKER_03: As a parent, you know what I mean?
- 13:52SPEAKER_04: As beautiful, it's a blessing, bro.
- 13:54SPEAKER_04: I I thank God, I thank God that you know that they that they uh uh on the journey that they own, and you know, that they um following their passion and and that they turned out the way they did, man.
- 14:07SPEAKER_04: It's a blessing.
- 14:09SPEAKER_03: And we'll be right back.
- 14:11SPEAKER_04: And now, back to the show.
- 14:13SPEAKER_02: It is a blessing.
- 14:14SPEAKER_02: Your whole entire family's from music, man.
- 14:17SPEAKER_02: That is beautiful, dog.
- 14:19SPEAKER_02: That's amazing.
- 14:20SPEAKER_02: It's in a blessing, it's in a money.
- 14:22SPEAKER_03: Right, a hundred percent.
- 14:23SPEAKER_03: And then um, I know we speak in the family or that, but like what's more important now?
- 14:28SPEAKER_03: A little bit of peace, the money, and then it's a few.
- 14:36SPEAKER_03: Because you you had a point, like, like you're putting out his last project, but at the same time, you're at a point of like, what's next?
- 14:42SPEAKER_03: You know what I mean?
- 14:44SPEAKER_03: When you did the comedy shit, I was like, yo, he got hot.
- 14:47SPEAKER_03: Like, that's so much hard, because that's a whole different fucking world you was tackling.
- 14:51SPEAKER_03: You know what I mean?
- 14:52SPEAKER_03: And then you're giving us the music now.
- 14:54SPEAKER_03: So like the evolution always continues, you know what I'm saying?
- 14:57SPEAKER_03: There's really, there's really, once you got that piece, you're good to go.
- 15:00SPEAKER_04: Right on.
- 15:01SPEAKER_04: Right on, man.
- 15:03SPEAKER_04: With peace, all things is possible.
- 15:05SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 15:05SPEAKER_03: And then what what's the motivation, man, after all these accomplishments beside the family?
- 15:09SPEAKER_03: Because that's the number one, obviously.
- 15:11SPEAKER_04: Um, man, just ambition, bro.
- 15:13SPEAKER_04: Just, you know, continuing to uh make good with the gifts God gave.
- 15:19SPEAKER_02: Yo, Tip's a real one, y'all.
- 15:21SPEAKER_02: I remember having a conversation with Tip in front of Jimmy's Bronx, but the City Island one.
- 15:27SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 15:28SPEAKER_02: It was three in the morning.
- 15:30SPEAKER_02: Three in the morning, I'm in the parking lot with me, him, and Becca's.
- 15:33SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: And yo, we talked, we talked in the parking lot for damn near a whole hour, just talking about life.
- 15:39SPEAKER_02: Just regular everyday shit.
- 15:41SPEAKER_02: And that to me was like, it was dope.
- 15:43SPEAKER_02: It was dope that we got to do that.
- 15:45SPEAKER_02: So thank you for that.
- 15:46SPEAKER_04: Yeah, man.
- 15:46SPEAKER_04: We always, man, we always get to chap it up every time, uh, every time we see each other, bro.
- 15:51SPEAKER_04: Uh enough.
- 15:52SPEAKER_04: You always been, you know what I'm saying?
- 15:54SPEAKER_04: You always been spinning game.
- 15:56SPEAKER_02: Thank you, King.
- 15:57SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 15:57SPEAKER_02: I'm proud of you, man.
- 15:58SPEAKER_02: Just keep doing what you do.
- 16:00SPEAKER_02: The new project sounds fire.
- 16:01SPEAKER_02: How's Pharrell in the studio, man?
- 16:03SPEAKER_02: Is he changed or is he is he different?
- 16:05SPEAKER_04: Nah, you the same, man.
- 16:06SPEAKER_04: Pharrell still, he still getting there, man, and just as creative and got as many ideas and as as far from this extreme to the next as he was before, man.
- 16:18SPEAKER_04: But but, you know, it's an honor to be able to work with somebody as is, you know, just genuinely uh uh intentional about creating the dopest shit to offer to the call.
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: That's what's up.
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: On the new album, we got um you got Usher, Two Chains, Summer Walker, Dr.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: Dre, Anderson Pack, Jeezy, NBA Youngboy.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: So in 2026, you know, these are the artists that um you collabed with.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: Uh was like this something you aimed for?
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: You know, you know, young NBA Youngboy, he's like the hottest in the scene right now.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: So, you know, can you talk about that?
- 17:00SPEAKER_04: I mean, yeah, I mean, I think, man, Youngboy, uh, he definitely he definitely doing his thing, man, and has been for quite some time.
- 17:08SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 17:08SPEAKER_04: Uh he he he actually had reached out to me, he reached out to me just on some on some kind of mentorship type shit, man.
- 17:17SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 17:17SPEAKER_04: Um asking like how to invest his money, or asking like, you know, how to how to how to deal with certain things.
- 17:25SPEAKER_04: Uh um and and and in that conversation, in those discussions, he uh he asked me, he asked me to uh, he said, man, you know we gotta get something done.
- 17:37SPEAKER_04: And and I was, of course, I was like, shit, alright, cool, that's easy, easy call.
- 17:41SPEAKER_04: And so he sent me this record.
- 17:44SPEAKER_04: And um the record he sent me, he happened to, by the time he sent it to me, uh, they were right around the time Clay had that, you know what I mean?
- 17:51SPEAKER_04: So that's what I was going through.
- 17:53SPEAKER_04: And so, you know, that's the song we made.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: I love to see that, because I feel like, you know, watching all this young talent coming up, you know, a lot of times they don't ask for help or advice, or they're stubborn, you know what I'm saying?
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: And, you know, asking a question like, what how do I invest?
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: That's so important, man.
- 18:13SPEAKER_00: I and I feel like, you know, it's tough nowadays watching, you know, I watch a lot of young talent come up and it's like they have no direction, or they don't ha they don't holler at their their OGs and and and shit like that.
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: You know, um so let me ask you, when you see artists coming up, do you have any advice for new new talent?
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: It's a tough game out there.
- 18:33SPEAKER_00: It's way tougher than when you was coming up, I believe.
- 18:37SPEAKER_04: I mean, bruh, um I man, when the student is ready, the teacher will teach.
- 18:43SPEAKER_04: If anybody needs anything from me, I will offer whatever experience or advice or or knowledge I have on the subject, but I'm not just going out there just budding my just butting it for business, you know what I mean?
- 18:58SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 18:59SPEAKER_03: Not everybody likes advice.
- 19:01SPEAKER_03: No, not everybody like advice, you know what I mean?
- 19:03SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: But the fact that, you know, your NBA young NBA boy just, you know, hollered at you for some advice, that's that to me is is is hot.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: That's you know, I I would love to see more of that with young young artists coming up.
- 19:13SPEAKER_03: Hey, Tip, since this is, you know, some sort of a bow out, you know what I mean, and and what's that one thing, man, you want people to remember about uh uh part of me, Clifford Harris the man.
- 19:24SPEAKER_03: Not T.I.
- 19:25SPEAKER_03: the artist, though, you know what I mean?
- 19:26SPEAKER_04: Man, I think uh I don't I mean I I I want them to remember, you know, me as a as a as a as a family as a my as what I was to my family, what I meant to my to the people around me, to my friends, and you know, what I what I the father I was to my children.
- 19:44SPEAKER_04: I don't, you know what I mean?
- 19:45SPEAKER_04: That's that's really all I that's all I care about.
- 19:47SPEAKER_04: I I have that represent me over anything professional today.
- 19:53SPEAKER_03: That's what's happening.
- 19:54SPEAKER_03: And then um before we let you go, before we let you go, the album next six months, what do people need to know about about Tip just before we let you go?
- 20:02SPEAKER_04: I just told you, shit.
- 20:03SPEAKER_04: I mean, uh man, and shit, I mean for real.
- 20:08SPEAKER_04: I do this shit for real, and when it when it comes to it, I I don't see nobody fucking with me.
- 20:13SPEAKER_04: That's what I remember about me, but you know, you you remember what you want to.
- 20:20SPEAKER_02: Don't forget y'all.

- 21:35SPEAKER_02: And if you don't see him on the music tip, he's definitely gotta keep acting.
- 21:38SPEAKER_02: He has 100%.
- 21:40SPEAKER_02: He has to be.
- 21:40SPEAKER_02: No, but think about it, yo.

- 22:55SPEAKER_00: Yo, like, listen, man, when I w when when the game when the game happened, man, I was DJing in Long Island.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: I was at um Puerto Plata underwater in Freeport.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: I was outdoors, like 600 people big screen watching, and then we won.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: And of course, the madness.
- 23:10SPEAKER_01: Uh-uh.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: But then I drove into the city to do another gig.

- 24:21SPEAKER_00: Like, real tall.
- 24:22SPEAKER_03: But you know what I love too?
- 24:24SPEAKER_03: That the Knicks, it was a Dominican, it was a Puerto Rican, a Filipino, a Nigerian, and a Jamaican that pulled this motherfucker through.
- 24:33SPEAKER_03: Get the fuck out of here.
- 24:34SPEAKER_03: Come on.

- 24:46SPEAKER_00: Because I ain't fucking with parade.
- 24:48SPEAKER_00: I was like, I watched that from TV from home.
