- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, Hello everybody, welcome to my podcast you Minding your
- 0:05Speaker 1: Own Business. I'm your host Scottus Austin Mary. I'm'a thank
- 0:07Speaker 1: you guys for joining me for this episode. If you
- 0:10Speaker 1: guys like a commentary, please come and check out my
- 0:13Speaker 1: podcast on Apple, iHeartRadio, Google, Spotify and multiple other streaming companies.
- 0:21Speaker 2: And a little bit about me.
- 0:22Speaker 1: I'm a Certify Recovery life coach, all about helping people
- 0:25Speaker 1: in their past, their journeys, and their purpose doing new
- 0:27Speaker 1: and better you. I have ten pet PM ten podcasts
- 0:31Speaker 1: that pretty much help people as far as different levels
- 0:34Speaker 1: of recovery. I figured that instead of me trying to
- 0:38Speaker 1: do recovery in one podcast, I will do them in ten.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Actually there's twelve, but I haven't done the other two
- 0:44Speaker 1: because I really wanna get people used to these podcasts
- 0:49Speaker 1: first before I start really getting into the solutions.
- 0:53Speaker 2: But this is more so.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Just talking about recovery from multiple different facets and healing
- 1:00Speaker 1: from multiple different facets, because I feel like if you
- 1:03Speaker 1: proby to put everything on one podcast, it's gonna end
- 1:06Speaker 1: up being overshadowed because everybody has a different type of
- 1:10Speaker 1: recovery that they're dealing with. Nobody deals with recovery the same.
- 1:15Speaker 1: No one has to endure recovery in the same way,
- 1:19Speaker 1: so everybody is pretty much different. So I wanted to
- 1:23Speaker 1: come on here today because I know everybody's like, what happened?
- 1:26Speaker 2: She was gone?
- 1:27Speaker 1: Last week, I was in Hurricane Milton. Hurricane Milton hit
- 1:32Speaker 1: Florida kind of bad, so I couldn't do a podcast
- 1:37Speaker 1: because our electric was out, our internet was out. It
- 1:40Speaker 1: was really really bad, so I wasn't able to do
- 1:43Speaker 1: a podcast, and I'm sorry about that. I have some
- 1:47Speaker 1: videos that I did on YouTube that I'm gonna post
- 1:50Speaker 1: on all my channels as far as different content that
- 1:53Speaker 1: I did, as far as different topics that I did
- 1:56Speaker 1: on my s YouTube channel before everything went out. But
- 2:02Speaker 1: this particular topic is all about me minding your own business.
- 2:07Speaker 1: When it comes to doing what's best for you and
- 2:11Speaker 1: doing what makes you happy and what brings you joy.
- 2:15Speaker 1: A lot of people have based their lives on what
- 2:17Speaker 1: other people think and what other people have to say
- 2:20Speaker 1: about them and how they feel about them. A lot
- 2:24Speaker 1: of people can't be alone and be by themselves and
- 2:27Speaker 1: really just be one with the higher power within themselves.
- 2:32Speaker 1: They have to have other people in their lives. In
- 2:35Speaker 1: order for them to thrive. And there are other people
- 2:39Speaker 1: that don't need people in their lives in order to thrive.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Their thrive regardless. So you have two different types of people.
- 2:46Speaker 1: The problem is you got one person, excuse me, that's
- 2:52Speaker 1: accepted when it comes to wanting to be love like,
- 2:56Speaker 1: to appreciate their value, wanted needed to be a part
- 2:58Speaker 1: of something, to be validated, to be approved of, to
- 3:02Speaker 1: be accepted for somebody know you're worth and proving some.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Of the people.
- 3:06Speaker 1: You have other people that are people pleass, Captain Sablehole,
- 3:09Speaker 1: build a bears, building, dolls, and sea feelers. So you
- 3:12Speaker 1: have people that's also wolves and she's clothing boy and
- 3:15Speaker 1: girla Kui, wolves, sirens, vampire snakes, Jezebels, suckubists, and Harlot's.
- 3:23Speaker 2: At the end of the day, like I said.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I was watching his guys videos and he passed away unfortunately,
- 3:29Speaker 1: and he talked about how even though you try to
- 3:32Speaker 1: do everything right, it doesn't mean negativity's not gonna hit
- 3:36Speaker 1: you in one way or another. I tell people all
- 3:39Speaker 1: the time. If you're strong minded, then it's gonna hit
- 3:41Speaker 1: you physically. If you're more physically inclined, then you gonna
- 3:45Speaker 1: have to deal with more mental issues. It just depends, cause,
- 3:48Speaker 1: like I said, some people are very strong minded. So
- 3:52Speaker 1: there are a lot of people that have now learned
- 3:54Speaker 1: that the importance of their standards and the importance of
- 3:57Speaker 1: them having them standards and in their standards and not
- 4:02Speaker 1: negotiating those standards. And there's too many people who have
- 4:04Speaker 1: done that because of the things I said earlier.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Now I get it.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Love is a beautiful thing. Love is a great thing,
- 4:10Speaker 1: being liked is a great thing. All those things are
- 4:12Speaker 1: great things, but what you're willing to do for them
- 4:15Speaker 1: is what makes them not only addictive but also dangerous.
- 4:19Speaker 1: A lot of people have gotten hurt and have ended
- 4:22Speaker 1: up in jail, drugs, alcohol, onunal lives, all kinds of
- 4:25Speaker 1: things because of the fact of what they were willing
- 4:30Speaker 1: to do for those things, and that's what makes it negative.
- 4:34Speaker 1: I've learned that if something is meant for you, you
- 4:37Speaker 1: don't have to go looking for it, it will find you.
- 4:41Speaker 1: And I also took this week while all of this
- 4:44Speaker 1: was going on, to figure out what direction that season
- 4:48Speaker 1: two is going to go in as far as this
- 4:51Speaker 1: new season of the podcast, So I decided to go
- 4:56Speaker 1: down a different direction and that is society and why
- 5:02Speaker 1: people need to stay away from society standards. Let me
- 5:05Speaker 1: tell you what I've learned since I've been gone this
- 5:08Speaker 1: past weeks. I have learned so much about not only myself,
- 5:14Speaker 1: but also people and society standards and a lot of
- 5:18Speaker 1: things that's probably gonna shock a lot of people. Now
- 5:21Speaker 1: when it comes to recovery, it's about seeing things for
- 5:24Speaker 1: what they are and not what you want them to be. Now,
- 5:28Speaker 1: there are times that God may pull you away from
- 5:30Speaker 1: the world and put you by yourself because you're constantly
- 5:36Speaker 1: going through negative situations that you really shouldn't have went
- 5:40Speaker 1: through if you would.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Have stuck like with your standards.
- 5:42Speaker 1: A lot of people want you to lower your standards
- 5:44Speaker 1: in order to be your relationships with them. They want
- 5:47Speaker 1: you to lower your standards in order for you to
- 5:50Speaker 1: basically date them or whatever the case may be. And
- 5:55Speaker 1: by doing that, you don't know how the demonic forces
- 6:01Speaker 1: will attack you because of it. What I learned about
- 6:08Speaker 1: standards is that standards protect you from negativity being able
- 6:17Speaker 1: to take advantage of you or manipulate or bamboozoo. So
- 6:21Speaker 1: they say, you meet somebody and they say to you
- 6:25Speaker 1: they want you to have sex with them, and you're like, well, no,
- 6:27Speaker 1: I'm not ready to have sex. Well, if you love me,
- 6:30Speaker 1: you'll have sex with me. Well your response is, if
- 6:32Speaker 1: you love me, you wait. My standards are I'm not
- 6:35Speaker 1: having sex before marriage. I stand on that, and that's
- 6:39Speaker 1: in on that. Either you're gonna date me or you
- 6:43Speaker 1: can go ahead and go Now for a lot of
- 6:45Speaker 1: people that person say they can't handle it, you're willing
- 6:49Speaker 1: to drop your standards that you said are non negotiables
- 6:54Speaker 1: and go ahead and go through with it. And then
- 6:58Speaker 1: later on down the line it is hit you that
- 7:01Speaker 1: you made a mistake because now you've got with this
- 7:03Speaker 1: person in mine. Well, part of recovery is trying to
- 7:08Speaker 1: understand why you let down your guard. Why did you
- 7:12Speaker 1: let go of your standards? Why did you just break
- 7:17Speaker 1: what you have said to yourself you were not gonna
- 7:19Speaker 1: do in order to be in relationships with people. Why
- 7:24Speaker 1: is it that to be loved you have to go
- 7:27Speaker 1: against your standards. You have to go against having dreams
- 7:32Speaker 1: and goals to be married to somebody, to be in
- 7:36Speaker 1: some relationship with somebody else.
- 7:39Speaker 2: What I learned in.
- 7:39Speaker 1: That is that is not the way God wants you
- 7:44Speaker 1: to be when it comes to a marriage.
- 7:47Speaker 2: That's why God says it's.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Evenly yoked and you love a woman the way Jesus
- 7:52Speaker 1: loved the church and vice versa, and a lot of
- 7:56Speaker 1: people are basically helping a lot of parents out. So
- 8:01Speaker 1: the reason a lot of parents want their kids to
- 8:03Speaker 1: be married is because they don't have to worry about
- 8:06Speaker 1: them coming and asking them for money.
- 8:09Speaker 2: They have somebody else that deal with them.
- 8:11Speaker 1: That's why when I see a lot of tiktoks and
- 8:13Speaker 1: I see people dropping off they wives because they spend
- 8:17Speaker 1: entirely too much money, I just start laughing. And you
- 8:21Speaker 1: have people that's having babies and they're not staying together,
- 8:25Speaker 1: and now you're a single mother. So those morals, values, principles,
- 8:32Speaker 1: and ethics are extremely important.
- 8:35Speaker 2: And you knowing.
- 8:37Speaker 1: What it is that you want and need and what
- 8:40Speaker 1: you're gonna put up with and what you won't put
- 8:42Speaker 1: up with, what you will allow and what you want
- 8:44Speaker 1: allow is very important cause when you get into the world,
- 8:48Speaker 1: your standards are gonna be very important because without.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Them, you are going to be purely screwed.
- 8:53Speaker 1: You just are you gonna have people taking advantage of
- 8:56Speaker 1: you and doing all kinds of negative things.
- 8:58Speaker 2: To you because you let them your standards.
- 9:01Speaker 1: So you have to understand your standards are actually your
- 9:03Speaker 1: guard so people can't get to anything else. And today,
- 9:09Speaker 1: understand the respect you your boundaries and understanding your standards,
- 9:13Speaker 1: because boundaries are very important as well. So if I'm
- 9:16Speaker 1: someone that's saying that I'm not gonna give up my career,
- 9:19Speaker 1: I'm not giving up nothing for nobody. What that means
- 9:24Speaker 1: is either you're gonna add to my life or you're
- 9:26Speaker 1: gonna subtract and keep it pushing because I ain't got
- 9:28Speaker 1: time for it. So a lot of people what they
- 9:31Speaker 1: do is they're the ones making the sacrifices. They're the
- 9:34Speaker 1: ones trying to make sure everybody's good. The problem is
- 9:37Speaker 1: you're the person being destroyed. You're the one now sitting
- 9:41Speaker 1: in jail. You're the one now that has a single mother.
- 9:44Speaker 1: You're the one now that are homeless out here in
- 9:47Speaker 1: the street. You're the one going through domestic violence issues
- 9:50Speaker 1: because you lowered yourself in order to be with this person.
- 9:54Speaker 2: And that is not what you're supposed to do.
- 9:58Speaker 1: You're not in any way supposed to give up anything,
- 10:02Speaker 1: and yet you do because the love of somebody, you're
- 10:07Speaker 1: willing to sacrifice any and everything to be with them,
- 10:11Speaker 1: even if that means losing yourself, And that is not
- 10:13Speaker 1: the way God wants you to love somebody. God don't
- 10:16Speaker 1: want you to love somebody by losing yourself and that person.
- 10:20Speaker 1: God don't want you to lose everything you got because
- 10:24Speaker 1: you gonna give this person everything. It's just like when
- 10:26Speaker 1: you pay somebody's bills and then they turn around and
- 10:29Speaker 1: don't give you your money back. Now you sitting out
- 10:31Speaker 1: there in the streets somewhere, Now, this person ain't coming around.
- 10:34Speaker 2: They're not tryna help you, They're not trying to do nothing.
- 10:37Speaker 1: And that's the sad part about the whole entire situation.
- 10:41Speaker 2: So I do get the fact that for a lot
- 10:43Speaker 2: of people, when it comes to these situation, it's ucks.
- 10:47Speaker 1: But if we minded our own business instead on business
- 10:51Speaker 1: and stood on our standards and our morals and values
- 10:53Speaker 1: are principles and ethics, critical thinking, common sense, and common judgment,
- 10:57Speaker 1: weighing the pros and cons and then understand the because
- 11:00Speaker 1: in karmen to your actions based upon your behavior, choice
- 11:03Speaker 1: and decisions. And then not only that, if you sat
- 11:08Speaker 1: there and did research before you made a decision, your
- 11:12Speaker 1: decision would be different. But what it is is you're
- 11:15Speaker 1: not paying attention to how your body is being affected
- 11:19Speaker 1: by the mental choice that you make and how the
- 11:22Speaker 1: mental is being manipulated as well. Either way it go,
- 11:30Speaker 1: you're gonna be screwed. So by you having your morals,
- 11:34Speaker 1: your values, your principles and ethics, the more people that
- 11:37Speaker 1: don't accept it, those are not people you need to
- 11:39Speaker 1: deal with anyway, because there will be someone that will
- 11:42Speaker 1: accept what your standards are and they will accept you
- 11:46Speaker 1: as a person, and they will want to be with
- 11:49Speaker 1: you and they will want.
- 11:49Speaker 2: To make you happy.
- 11:51Speaker 1: So I just want people to understand that it's okay
- 11:54Speaker 1: that you don't fit society standards. It's okay that you're
- 11:57Speaker 1: not trying to do all these things and go through
- 11:59Speaker 1: all all these bells and whistles and doing drugs and
- 12:02Speaker 1: all of these negative things because you wanna be a
- 12:05Speaker 1: part of something.
- 12:06Speaker 2: I'm sorry, but that's just not that important. So I
- 12:09Speaker 2: get it.
- 12:10Speaker 1: I understand completely Early Doom don't think I don't. But
- 12:14Speaker 1: at the end of the day, like I said, everybody
- 12:17Speaker 1: has the right to do whatever it is they choose
- 12:18Speaker 1: to do, and people gotta take what come with that.
- 12:22Speaker 1: When you bring everybody else in your battles and your fights,
- 12:24Speaker 1: and ain't got nothing to do with them when you're
- 12:26Speaker 1: sitting here having it. Other people sitting in prison because
- 12:31Speaker 1: of something that you made the choice to do.
- 12:34Speaker 2: That is a problem.
- 12:35Speaker 1: I see many young girls sitting in prison for the
- 12:39Speaker 1: love of boy, or a young man sitting in prison
- 12:42Speaker 1: for the love of a w of a gro a
- 12:43Speaker 1: girl or a grown woman. It's sad, is it really
- 12:51Speaker 1: is that when I see stuff like that, and it's
- 12:56Speaker 1: not right, and it's not fair.
- 13:00Speaker 2: But life isn't fair.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Life is hard, And when you mind your own business,
- 13:06Speaker 1: it's not just about getting involved in other people's problems.
- 13:10Speaker 2: It's about the fact they got two parents.
- 13:12Speaker 1: If their own parents are not helping them, their own
- 13:14Speaker 1: family members are not helping them.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Then why are you doing it?
- 13:18Speaker 1: What is the point of you trying to help people
- 13:20Speaker 1: that don't want to help themselves. And that's the point
- 13:23Speaker 1: that I'm trying to make. I get the fact that
- 13:25Speaker 1: for people you want love, you want happiness, So you're
- 13:28Speaker 1: willing to go get plast surgery and do all these
- 13:30Speaker 1: things and going through hoops and bounds to be with
- 13:33Speaker 1: people that don't deserve you, and you shouldn't be with
- 13:37Speaker 1: it in the first place. But don't think for a
- 13:40Speaker 1: moment that I don't understand it because loneliness. A lot
- 13:44Speaker 1: of people keep saying, well, being alone is a bad thing.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Being lonely is something wrong with you. No, that is
- 13:49Speaker 1: not what it means. It means that right now you're
- 13:52Speaker 1: on a path that God puts you on, so you're
- 13:56Speaker 1: not distracted by all this other stuff that's going on
- 13:59Speaker 1: your city still to God tells you to move.
- 14:02Speaker 2: So when you're alone, it just means.
- 14:04Speaker 1: That you're on a journey that a lot of people
- 14:06Speaker 1: around you just cannot understand. You might be writing a book,
- 14:09Speaker 1: you might be criating courses, you might be doing god
- 14:12Speaker 1: knows what. But the thing about it is they don't
- 14:15Speaker 1: know what you're doing because you're moving in silence. So
- 14:18Speaker 1: that does not mean that there's something wrong with you
- 14:21Speaker 1: because you're alone.
- 14:23Speaker 2: It just means that.
- 14:25Speaker 1: You don't have anybody complicating your life or making your
- 14:28Speaker 1: life worse than what it is. You don't have somebody
- 14:31Speaker 1: using taking advantage of you because you are basically on
- 14:34Speaker 1: your own. That is all it means. It means nothing more,
- 14:38Speaker 1: nothing less than that. But a lot of people don't
- 14:42Speaker 1: necessarily understand that. They think, oh, well.
- 14:45Speaker 2: You know, being in this situation means this.
- 14:48Speaker 1: No, it just means that, Okay, I'm in a situation
- 14:55Speaker 1: where I'm dealing with my problems on my own. You know,
- 14:58Speaker 1: I'm going to a therapist, but my family doesn't know
- 15:01Speaker 1: I'm going to a therapist. You may have gotten married,
- 15:04Speaker 1: but you ain't told your parents that you got married yet.
- 15:07Speaker 1: You might be doing your own thing. You might decide
- 15:10Speaker 1: to leave the country and your parents can't believe you're
- 15:13Speaker 1: up and leaving it to another country by yourself with nobody,
- 15:17Speaker 1: but you feel, excuse me, that that's what's best for you.
- 15:22Speaker 2: My throat hurts. So when you're doing what's best you, Yeah,
- 15:26Speaker 2: you're gonna be alone in that.
- 15:28Speaker 1: The one person that's gonna be going through this this
- 15:30Speaker 1: journey is you and God. That's pretty much about it.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Nobody else is gonna be what you through this journey.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Nobody's gonna help you through it, cause, like I said,
- 15:37Speaker 1: nobody's gonna understand it.
- 15:39Speaker 2: So when you're sitting here.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Telling people, oh, I'm gonna go to Mexico or I'm
- 15:42Speaker 1: gonna live in Spain and I'm gonna live here your
- 15:45Speaker 1: family gonna think you crazy for wanting to do that.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Why in the world would you wanna leave the United States?
- 15:50Speaker 1: Why in the world would you wanna go to another state?
- 15:52Speaker 1: Why don't you just stay here? And you were like,
- 15:53Speaker 1: there's nothing here.
- 15:55Speaker 2: And so the.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Reason you're going through what you're going through is not
- 15:58Speaker 1: just because of people. It can also be the situation,
- 16:01Speaker 1: and it also can be the location. So once you
- 16:04Speaker 1: leave a location, you'll see everything being different. You'll see
- 16:08Speaker 1: how different things are, You'll see how better things are.
- 16:11Speaker 1: You'll see that you're in a better position. You'll see
- 16:13Speaker 1: that everything is going according to the way it's supposed to.
- 16:20Speaker 2: So I absolutely get it. I do. But is it
- 16:23Speaker 2: easy going through the journeys?
- 16:24Speaker 1: No, if I can sit there and tell you how
- 16:28Speaker 1: hard it is because you don't know who to trust,
- 16:30Speaker 1: you don't know who got you back. So the end day,
- 16:33Speaker 1: you take one day at a time, cause, like I said,
- 16:36Speaker 1: it all work out. I promise you will. May it
- 16:41Speaker 1: take some time, but it'll work out. So all I'm
- 16:45Speaker 1: saying to y'all is it is okay if you're not
- 16:48Speaker 1: in the place you should be. So no, so we
- 16:59Speaker 1: ain't doing nothing to at the end of the day,
- 17:01Speaker 1: Like I said, sometimes you're gonna have to be alone
- 17:04Speaker 1: to be the best version of yourself. Sometimes you need
- 17:07Speaker 1: to be alone in order to figure out what your
- 17:09Speaker 1: next movie is gonna be. And sometimes you need to
- 17:12Speaker 1: see what you can do by yourself before you bring
- 17:13Speaker 1: others into your world. So don't get upset because this
- 17:17Speaker 1: person jail whatever it was, it did, So that's pretty
- 17:27Speaker 1: much all you need to do. So at the end
- 17:29Speaker 1: of the day, like I said, is it easy going
- 17:30Speaker 1: through these journeys?
- 17:31Speaker 2: No? Is it easy fighting your own battles. No.
- 17:35Speaker 1: But there are some beat that don't want to drive
- 17:36Speaker 1: people unto they mess, they don't wanna lie them and
- 17:39Speaker 1: they play and do all this other stuff just to
- 17:41Speaker 1: basically get this person. Some people just wanna relax and
- 17:44Speaker 1: enjoy their loved ones and call it that. So, like
- 17:57Speaker 1: I said, a lot of stuff don't matter at this point.
- 18:00Speaker 1: There's a lot of stuff going on in the world
- 18:02Speaker 1: I will never understand. For sometimes I'm just like I'll
- 18:04Speaker 1: just choose not to. It's just like when I made
- 18:07Speaker 1: the decision to go celibate. That was not an easy decision.
- 18:10Speaker 1: But guess what I made the decision. I made the
- 18:13Speaker 1: decision because, like I said, when I was having sex,
- 18:16Speaker 1: it wasn't worth it and I really wasn't getting nothing
- 18:19Speaker 1: out of it. So now when men say certain things,
- 18:21Speaker 1: I'm like, no, I'm not interested, because if I don't
- 18:24Speaker 1: have a connection with that person, then I'm certainly not interested.
- 18:27Speaker 1: So I want people to understand that when you know
- 18:30Speaker 1: what it is that you won't you're gonna have to
- 18:32Speaker 1: sit still in wait, meaning that the person you may
- 18:35Speaker 1: meet maybe somebody that you might randomly just run into.
- 18:39Speaker 1: It might be someone if you go on a dating site,
- 18:42Speaker 1: you might go on tender and you might meet somebody,
- 18:45Speaker 1: but you gotta be very careful because nowadays you got
- 18:48Speaker 1: people un alive and decapitating people, so be mindful of that.
- 18:53Speaker 1: So you just gotta be able to read energy, because
- 18:56Speaker 1: sometimes even though the representation is good, sometimes you can
- 19:01Speaker 1: see and still see through the bs. It may take
- 19:04Speaker 1: a little bit of time, but you'll be able to
- 19:06Speaker 1: see it eventual because some of these people ain't worth
- 19:10Speaker 1: the time that you waste. So I wouldn't worry about it.
- 19:14Speaker 1: It will all work out. I promise you it will, because,
- 19:17Speaker 1: like I said, when you sit here and you believe
- 19:19Speaker 1: in yourself, even when no one else does. Trust me,
- 19:22Speaker 1: everything will be okay.
- 19:23Speaker 2: It will be.
- 19:24Speaker 1: It may take a little bit of time, but it
- 19:27Speaker 1: absolutely will be.
- 19:29Speaker 2: So at the end of the day, don't sit here
- 19:31Speaker 2: and feel bad.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Because right now you're not hanging around a bunch of people.
- 19:36Speaker 1: You're not married, but yet you have a very successful job.
- 19:39Speaker 1: You're traveling the world, You're able to come and go
- 19:42Speaker 1: as you please, you're a CEO, you're making multimillions of dollars.
- 19:46Speaker 1: So that's what should be what's important. So when it
- 19:50Speaker 1: comes to a new dawn and a new day, when
- 19:53Speaker 1: it come to you minding your own business, you ain't
- 19:55Speaker 1: caring about the fact of these celebrities and what they
- 19:57Speaker 1: got going on. You don't care about the the fact
- 20:00Speaker 1: that somebody else is doing whatever. You's like, Okay, that
- 20:04Speaker 1: has nothing to do with me. Now, you may pray
- 20:07Speaker 1: for that person. You may say, Okay, I'm gonna pray
- 20:10Speaker 1: for that person and pray that they get through whatever
- 20:13Speaker 1: it is they're getting through. But as far as you
- 20:15Speaker 1: just saying, okay, I'm gonna get involved and I'm gonna
- 20:18Speaker 1: basically get put put myself in harm's way for something
- 20:22Speaker 1: that I have nothing to do. With Now, if it's
- 20:24Speaker 1: something I can control, where I can guide the person, okay, cool.
- 20:28Speaker 1: But if it's something dangerous where my life is gonna
- 20:31Speaker 1: be on the line, I'm sorry.
- 20:33Speaker 2: I'm not getting involved.
- 20:34Speaker 1: If you doing something that's gonna jeopardize my peace, quiet
- 20:38Speaker 1: and tranquility, I can't deal with you in any capacity whatsoever,
- 20:42Speaker 1: cause I'm not messing with nobody that messes my inner
- 20:44Speaker 1: piece and tranquility because that is very important to me,
- 20:47Speaker 1: as it should be for everybody. So you have to
- 20:51Speaker 1: know when you can get involved with somebody by giving
- 20:53Speaker 1: them advice or showing them how to do something, or
- 20:56Speaker 1: instructing them to do it, or teaching them how.
- 20:58Speaker 2: To do it.
- 21:00Speaker 1: But it's a whole nother thing when the money you're
- 21:03Speaker 1: giving this person you can't afford to give now, you
- 21:06Speaker 1: can't pay your rent, cause this person didn't even bother
- 21:09Speaker 1: to call you, didn't bother to bring some of your money,
- 21:11Speaker 1: didn't even bother do none of that. They came just
- 21:14Speaker 1: to get money from you. So you have to be
- 21:17Speaker 1: mindful of the people that you do things for. Because again,
- 21:21Speaker 1: you have a lot of pastors saying, oh, it shouldn't
- 21:24Speaker 1: matter whether you got money or not. You should still
- 21:26Speaker 1: give tides, tithes and offering is food. It's not what
- 21:31Speaker 1: you saying that it is. So all I'm saying is no,
- 21:38Speaker 1: absolutely not.
- 21:42Speaker 2: So no.
- 21:46Speaker 1: So I get it though I do. But like I said,
- 21:51Speaker 1: when you mind your own business and you focus on
- 21:53Speaker 1: yourself and focus on what you need to do, the
- 21:56Speaker 1: rest of the world don't matter, because, like I said,
- 21:58Speaker 1: when you walk out that door, the only thing worried
- 22:00Speaker 1: about is you getting to your destination and getting back
- 22:03Speaker 1: and making sure nobody don't hit your car.
- 22:05Speaker 2: You just make sure when you're getting this, when you
- 22:06Speaker 2: get into the store, you.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Ain't gotta worry about some nasty person having an attitude
- 22:10Speaker 1: or somebody bumping into you. All you need to worry
- 22:13Speaker 1: about is if you go to a Chris Brown concert,
- 22:15Speaker 1: there's not gonna be a gun pulled out and somebody
- 22:17Speaker 1: trying to shoot you.
- 22:19Speaker 2: That's what you should be worrying about.
- 22:22Speaker 1: So your whole philosophy is gonna change when you go
- 22:26Speaker 1: in this IPI Nation cocoon. And I mean, all I'm
- 22:36Speaker 1: saying is life is just too short for nonsense at
- 22:38Speaker 1: this point, cause, like I said, a lot of y'all
- 22:40Speaker 1: worry about the wrong things it don't matter, and then
- 22:43Speaker 1: when somebody decides to leave you, you can't handle the fact
- 22:45Speaker 1: that they left versus you dealing.
- 22:48Speaker 2: With the emotions and then moving on.
- 22:51Speaker 1: So what I'm saying is figure out what went wrong
- 22:54Speaker 1: and try to figure it out. If you can't, then
- 22:58Speaker 1: leave where it's at and let certain people figure out.
- 23:10Speaker 1: So what I'm gonna do, like I said, it's not
- 23:13Speaker 1: worry about the things I can't control. And like I said,
- 23:16Speaker 1: I have no problem with helping me. But here's my thing.
- 23:19Speaker 1: If I'm gonna be hurt because of what you did,
- 23:22Speaker 1: then there's no point of me helping you.
- 23:23Speaker 2: At the end of the day.
- 23:24Speaker 1: These people got parents, and I'm like, why you didn't
- 23:27Speaker 1: ask your parents for the money?
- 23:28Speaker 2: Well, they didn't wanna give you the money. Why did
- 23:29Speaker 2: they wanna give you the money?
- 23:30Speaker 1: See a lot of y'all don't wanna ask questions because
- 23:34Speaker 1: you're afraid if you don't do it, this person ain't
- 23:35Speaker 1: gonna wanna be with you, They're.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Not gonna like you.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Well, so what if they don't like you? So what
- 23:40Speaker 1: if they don't wanna be around you? So what if
- 23:43Speaker 1: you gotta sit up here and go and geinst everything
- 23:45Speaker 1: you stand for just because you wanna be loved by somebody,
- 23:49Speaker 1: That to me is wrong, cause the person really loves you,
- 23:51Speaker 1: they respect the fact that whatever it is you got
- 23:54Speaker 1: going on. So at the end of the day, not
- 23:57Speaker 1: everybody's about money.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Some people just so I don't know. So, like I said,
- 24:07Speaker 2: we all have the things we have to deal with.
- 24:09Speaker 1: But it doesn't mean that just because you're alone, there's
- 24:12Speaker 1: something that is wrong with you, because there's nothing wrong
- 24:14Speaker 1: with you. It's just God is keeping you away from
- 24:17Speaker 1: all these negative people that don't want you. That's why
- 24:20Speaker 1: sometimes I think the reason why people are overweight or
- 24:24Speaker 1: or unattractive is because God is protected me from people
- 24:28Speaker 1: that ain't gonna be worth you. That if you turn
- 24:30Speaker 1: around and go get plasid surgery and then you look
- 24:33Speaker 1: like the same girls, they don't.
- 24:36Speaker 2: They don't beat you at their own excuse me.
- 24:43Speaker 1: So, like I said, you know God, sometimes God will
- 24:48Speaker 1: put you in isolation for a reason, and there's a
- 24:51Speaker 1: reason that God puts you there. So just understand that
- 24:55Speaker 1: it's okay to be alone and figure things out. It's
- 24:59Speaker 1: okay to travel the world and see what's out there
- 25:02Speaker 1: on your own, and you might meet some great friends, like,
- 25:06Speaker 1: for example, you might meet your husband in a different country.
- 25:10Speaker 1: So if you can't find the person that's meant for you,
- 25:13Speaker 1: then there's nothing wrong going out of the country. But
- 25:16Speaker 1: if you got people going out of the country just
- 25:18Speaker 1: for sex, then that's all enough. Different conversations.
- 25:22Speaker 2: You have.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Some of these dudes that are going out to these
- 25:23Speaker 1: females for sex, they're not going after them general like them.
- 25:26Speaker 2: So I'm saying, is om good.
- 25:34Speaker 1: So I wouldn't worry about the coodushen with us.
- 25:47Speaker 2: But like I said, things are not always what they've seen.
- 25:52Speaker 1: But when you get involved in other people's lives and
- 25:54Speaker 1: other people's business, then you lose yourself. And that is
- 25:58Speaker 1: the one thing I've learned. When it comes to friendships
- 26:00Speaker 1: and romantic relationships and even family relationships.
- 26:03Speaker 2: You do end up losing yourself.
- 26:05Speaker 1: And the only way you can get yourself back is
- 26:08Speaker 1: if you get away from all of that and you
- 26:10Speaker 1: deal with people from a distance, meaning that you deal
- 26:13Speaker 1: with them when you choose to want to deal with them,
- 26:16Speaker 1: and when you don't, then you don't deal with them
- 26:18Speaker 1: at all. So, for example, if you're working on something
- 26:21Speaker 1: you don't want nobody to know, you ain't.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Gonna talk about it. You just gonna keep quiet and
- 26:24Speaker 2: do whatever it is you need to do.
- 26:26Speaker 1: And then when you become successful at it, then you say, okay, look,
- 26:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna go ahead and I'm just gonna do this
- 26:33Speaker 1: or whatever the case may be. But until you are
- 26:36Speaker 1: at a place where you understand that, Okay, I don't wrong.
- 26:40Speaker 2: I like people.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I like being around people, but the way people have
- 26:44Speaker 1: walked out of my life, the way people have done
- 26:46Speaker 1: me dirty, I don't want to deal with. And that's fine.
- 26:48Speaker 1: You have every right to say, you know what, I
- 26:51Speaker 1: don't want to do nothing that.
- 26:52Speaker 2: It don't mean that you won't find your tribe.
- 26:57Speaker 1: It's just now when you get on social media, you're
- 27:01Speaker 1: teaching and you're educating people, and you're doing all these
- 27:05Speaker 1: things and now people are learning from you, they're growing
- 27:08Speaker 1: from you, and now they're great go and talk about
- 27:11Speaker 1: something very important. So I definitely appreciate y'all. Thank you
- 27:17Speaker 1: so so. Like I said, life is hard, it's not easy,
- 27:33Speaker 1: but it is what you choose to make it to be.
- 27:35Speaker 1: That doesn't get me wrong. We all have made the wrong
- 27:38Speaker 1: the choices, and don't get me wrong. Negativity will hit
- 27:41Speaker 1: you in multiple different ways. But as long as you
- 27:44Speaker 1: stay strong and long as you know in a move
- 27:46Speaker 1: when it sits still, when you should be fine, but
- 27:49Speaker 1: a minute you don't know, you're gonna be screwed. Like hell,
- 27:53Speaker 1: excuse me, lay the Lord, but you're gonna be skewed.
- 27:55Speaker 1: You gonna be screwed.
- 28:26Speaker 2: So sorry, y'all. My throat kind of hurt some.
- 28:29Speaker 1: Sorry, if I had to take a minute.
- 28:33Speaker 2: I can coffee it all day after light.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Something stuck in my throat. But yeah, that's the reason
- 28:39Speaker 1: I've been going. It wasn't the fact that I intentionally
- 28:41Speaker 1: wanted to leave, y'all. It was just the fact one
- 28:44Speaker 1: my throat was hurting, and two we had a hurricane
- 28:47Speaker 1: and the hurricane was absolutely terrible.
- 28:50Speaker 2: It tore up a lot of stuff.
- 28:52Speaker 1: People are still out of light, still out of a
- 28:54Speaker 1: lot of things, and it's just bad.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Hopefully things will get better.
- 28:58Speaker 1: And now it may be dealing with another hurricane. So
- 29:01Speaker 1: if it ain't one thing, it's something else. But what
- 29:04Speaker 1: I will say is, no matter what we go through,
- 29:07Speaker 1: just mind your own business, teach yourself, don't worry about
- 29:09Speaker 1: nobody else, and do what you need to do for yourself,
- 29:12Speaker 1: cause it ain't nothing like being able to do for
- 29:14Speaker 1: yourself and not gonna worry with nobody. So with that
- 29:17Speaker 1: being said, y'all enjoy it. So, So, like I said,
- 29:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna get ready to go to bed and get
- 29:42Speaker 1: some rest, but I just want to come on here
- 29:44Speaker 1: and I'm sorry.
- 29:45Speaker 2: I'm gonna throw it is been hurt.
- 29:46Speaker 1: So when it gets like that, I just get off
- 29:48Speaker 1: cause I don't want to make my worst voice worse
- 29:51Speaker 1: than what it is. But I just want to come
- 29:52Speaker 1: on here and do this video. I will be doing
- 29:55Speaker 1: any other videos than the other I'm sorry podcast that
- 29:58Speaker 1: I'll be doing. I definitely will be doing them tomorrow,
- 30:01Speaker 1: making up a Sunday's podcast tomorrow because I just with
- 30:07Speaker 1: my throat and everything, the lights and everything. It just
- 30:09Speaker 1: was a really rough week. I'm telling you, it has
- 30:12Speaker 1: been a very rough week since last week. So I've
- 30:15Speaker 1: tooken advantage to just chill, relax and just just chill
- 30:22Speaker 1: us about it. So with that being said, I am
- 30:24Speaker 1: going to go. So that's how I'm going. So I
- 30:34Speaker 1: just wanna take time to tell yo, the it's okay
- 30:37Speaker 1: if you're not society standards, it's okay if you don't
- 30:40Speaker 1: get it's okay if you don't belong, it's okay that
- 30:43Speaker 1: at the moment, nobody love, likes to appreciate values, once
- 30:46Speaker 1: you needs you, and all these other things. The point
- 30:49Speaker 1: is find those things within yourself, cause once you start
- 30:52Speaker 1: minding your business, you don't care about nobody else's you know,
- 30:56Speaker 1: and this for that, This was for all people. So
- 31:00Speaker 1: stop worrying about what other people got to say. So
- 31:09Speaker 1: I'm just saying so, like I said, I think we
- 31:12Speaker 1: all just you know, as godly people come together build
- 31:16Speaker 1: a community and so we don't have to worry about it.
- 31:19Speaker 1: That's why most introverts they build a community of people
- 31:23Speaker 1: just like them. And for me as what I'm gonna do,
- 31:26Speaker 1: build something that's just for me so I won't be alone,
- 31:31Speaker 1: and so on and so forth.
- 31:33Speaker 2: So, like I said, I just.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Wanted to make this very simple, very sweet, and very
- 31:37Speaker 1: plain and just tell you it's okay if you don't fit,
- 31:41Speaker 1: it's okay if you don't belong. Just understand what's meant
- 31:45Speaker 1: for you is meant for you. So with that being said,
- 31:59Speaker 1: I'm gonnahead.
- 31:59Speaker 2: It in this podcast. Now, come my throat.
- 32:01Speaker 1: It's hurting, but I appreciate you all of joining me
- 32:04Speaker 1: for this episode. Hopefully it will get better soon and
- 32:07Speaker 1: I'll be able to do long with videos, but I
- 32:09Speaker 1: just wanna keep it just here because, like I said,
- 32:13Speaker 1: everybody is so busy and everybody else's business that they're
- 32:16Speaker 1: not focusing on their business. And if you're interested in
- 32:20Speaker 1: one on one coaching, being a guest on my podcast,
- 32:23Speaker 1: if it's someone just wanna send me letters just to
- 32:25Speaker 1: talk or whatever the case may be, just put the
- 32:29Speaker 1: word try. I think, just put the word yes, and
- 32:36Speaker 1: I should be able to see it so you can
- 32:38Speaker 1: also I think about something different.
- 32:40Speaker 2: My throat hurts, and that's not what I was gonna say.
- 32:43Speaker 1: I was like, if you're interested in one on one coaching,
- 32:45Speaker 1: or if you wanna be on a guest on my podcast,
- 32:48Speaker 1: I just wanna write something, it's because you just want
- 32:50Speaker 1: me to look at it privately, then that's fine. If
- 32:53Speaker 1: you want me to look at it twelblly j publicly
- 32:55Speaker 1: and I can put show it on my podcast and
- 32:56Speaker 1: I can do that too, but but anyway, things are
- 33:02Speaker 1: crazy right now.
- 33:05Speaker 2: So so with.
- 33:11Speaker 1: That being said, I appreciate y'all for joining me for
- 33:14Speaker 1: this episode.
- 33:15Speaker 2: My throat.
- 33:18Speaker 1: It's hurting, so it's kind of hard to talk, but
- 33:21Speaker 1: I try to talk as long as I can, and
- 33:22Speaker 1: when it starts hurting, sometimes I gotta stop for a
- 33:25Speaker 1: minute and then start back. But yeah, I will be
- 33:28Speaker 1: doing my podcast full time, but they're probably gonna be
- 33:31Speaker 1: thirty minutes long because my throat hurts.
- 33:33Speaker 2: But that's okay.
- 33:35Speaker 1: If I do any type of podcast on any of
- 33:38Speaker 1: the platform, I would definitely let you know, so I
- 33:42Speaker 1: wouldna get some it's leaving out.
- 33:43Speaker 2: So with that being said, I love y'all. I appreciate y'all.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Without y'all, there is no me.
- 33:49Speaker 1: I'll be absolutely nothing without you, guys, because y'all have
- 33:52Speaker 1: no idea.
- 33:52Speaker 2: What it's like to be me right now.
- 33:54Speaker 1: But you can email me at ascha do m A
- 33:58Speaker 1: r I A M A zero one gmail dot com.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Its a s h A dot M A r I
- 34:03Speaker 1: A M A zero one at gmail dot com. So
- 34:06Speaker 1: I do apologize if there's some stalling or quiet, that's
- 34:09Speaker 1: because my throat is really hurting right now. But I
- 34:12Speaker 1: still want to do the podcast anyway to let you
- 34:14Speaker 1: guys know that even though I'm not doing podcasts, don't
- 34:18Speaker 1: mean I'm not still here with you. So with that
- 34:21Speaker 1: being said, I will talk to y'all. So with that
- 34:38Speaker 1: being said, I hope you guys got a very very
- 34:40Speaker 1: beautiful day, and peace be with you, and I'll be
- 34:44Speaker 1: back when my throat starts back hurting. If anything changes,
- 34:47Speaker 1: I will let you know. But a lot of people
- 34:48Speaker 1: in her in Florida had lost a lot of power.
- 34:52Speaker 1: So I want espasically say to all the people in
- 34:54Speaker 1: Florida my thoughts and prayers with you.
- 34:56Speaker 2: I'm here.
- 34:57Speaker 1: So I definitely want to, you know, help people as
- 35:02Speaker 1: much as I can. So by doing this is ever
- 35:05Speaker 1: gonna help.
- 35:06Speaker 3: So so I said, I'm gonna get ready to get
- 35:26Speaker 3: off that my throat hurts, but I will see y'all
- 35:29Speaker 3: next Monday and until next time, we will talk later.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Just know that it's okay to be alone. Just know that.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Just know that God is with you every step in
- 35:38Speaker 1: the way and you're not alone because God is gonna
- 35:40Speaker 1: be with you no matter what. So with that being
- 35:43Speaker 1: just said, just believe in that. So if any if
- 35:45Speaker 1: everybody walks out on you, know that you're not alone
- 35:47Speaker 1: because God is gonna be with you every step of
- 35:50Speaker 1: the way. So with that being said, I love you guys.
- 35:52Speaker 1: I appreciate y'all. Without y'all, there is no me. I'll
- 35:55Speaker 1: be nothing without y'all. Thank y'all for y'all understanding, and
- 35:58Speaker 1: we'll talk later, ye
