Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Hi, guys.
- 0:01Speaker 2: Welcome back to The Orange Doesn't Fall Far with myself,
- 0:04Speaker 2: Tamara Judge, and my daughter, Sophia Barney.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Hi.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Why do I feel like I haven't seen you in
- 0:11Speaker 2: like a year?
- 0:12Speaker 4: It kind of feels that way. I think the last
- 0:14Speaker 4: time we saw each other was my birthday, right?
- 0:16Speaker 2: No, you came out, you came.
- 0:17Speaker 4: Oh yeah, no, we went to the mall.
- 0:19Speaker 2: It was a week ago.
- 0:20Speaker 4: It always feels like I never see you though, especially
- 0:23Speaker 4: when you're busy.
- 0:23Speaker 5: I know.
- 0:25Speaker 2: So, you know, when we did the mother daughter with
- 0:29Speaker 2: Melissa and her daughter, the fans loved it and it
- 0:31Speaker 2: was highly rated. So I think that's going to be
- 0:33Speaker 2: our niche now is we're just going to And I
- 0:36Speaker 2: have a bunch, our niche, is that right?
- 0:38Speaker 5: Niche, it's niche.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Sorry, that's our niche. So I have a few mother-daughter
- 0:43Speaker 2: duos lined up to come on, but today we're going
- 0:48Speaker 2: to have Alexis Jansen and her daughter McKenna, who McKenna
- 0:52Speaker 2: has never done a podcast before.
- 0:54Speaker 5: Oh, really?
- 0:54Speaker 2: But before we get them on, I just wanted to
- 0:56Speaker 2: do a little catch up because a lot of things
- 0:59Speaker 2: have changed since you were on the pod last.
- 1:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Since.
- 1:04Speaker 2: But I mean, your hair is brown now.
- 1:06Speaker 4: My hair is brown. Yeah, I cut my bangs, of course.
- 1:09Speaker 5: I'm back in school. You turned 21.
- 1:11Speaker 2: I turned 21. Have you gone to a store or
- 1:12Speaker 2: restaurant and.
- 1:12Speaker 4: Bought alcohol now that you're 21?
- 1:20Speaker 6: I have.
- 1:20Speaker 4: Did you get carded?
- 1:22Speaker 2: I did.
- 1:23Speaker 4: It was actually awful because I was so overstimulated. I
- 1:27Speaker 4: went to Trader Joe's and anyone who goes to Trader
- 1:29Speaker 4: Joe's knows the parking situation is always awful. And there
- 1:33Speaker 4: was no parking. I was doing circles. I was sweating.
- 1:35Speaker 3: I was angry.
- 1:36Speaker 4: I go into this Trader Joe's and I don't know
- 1:39Speaker 4: what it is, but Trader Joe's employees are always very.
- 1:41Speaker 5: Like, hi, oh my God, hi. And I was just
- 1:44Speaker 5: not having it.
- 1:45Speaker 4: You're not in the mood. No, the woman carded me.
- 1:47Speaker 4: She's like, oh, my God, birthday girl. I'm like, I
- 1:51Speaker 4: went to Laguna. She's like, shut up. I'm just like,
- 1:54Speaker 4: I want to get my wine and get out of here.
- 1:56Speaker 4: It was so crowded, so hot.
- 1:59Speaker 2: It's like that at Trader Joe's. And besides the peppy talk,
- 2:03Speaker 2: it's also like 40 degrees inside Trader Joe's. If you
- 2:07Speaker 2: guys are like, don't have air conditioning, go just hang
- 2:09Speaker 2: out with Trader Joe's right now. There is a huge
- 2:10Speaker 2: heat wave. It's so hot. How hot is it where
- 2:14Speaker 2: you're at?
- 2:14Speaker 4: I think it's 102 today.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Well, I'm in Big Bear, as you know, and it
- 2:19Speaker 2: is a nice 68, 69 degrees with a little cloud covering. Yep.
- 2:25Speaker 2: So I have been in Big Bear since the reunion.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I filmed the reunion the other day.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:32Speaker 4: How'd that go?
- 2:33Speaker 2: As far as reunions go, I mean, I had a
- 2:35Speaker 2: pretty good season, so I wasn't really in the hot seat.
- 2:39Speaker 2: I was so joking with Andy and Alex before we
- 2:42Speaker 2: went out there because we never know where we're going
- 2:43Speaker 2: to sit. And I just said something like, it's going
- 2:46Speaker 2: to be so weird to be third seat or at
- 2:48Speaker 2: the end. And they're like, yeah, okay, sure.
- 2:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:52Speaker 2: I was first seat.
- 2:53Speaker 4: That's awesome though. I mean, a win is a win.
- 2:56Speaker 2: But we are going to be in Big Bear for
- 2:59Speaker 2: the next few days. Bryce Sanders is coming over to
- 3:01Speaker 2: the house tomorrow with his crew.
- 3:03Speaker 4: That's exciting.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Yeah, we're going to do a home tour of Big Bear. Now,
- 3:07Speaker 2: I've been asked by several different outlets to do this,
- 3:09Speaker 2: and I've always said no, no, because I felt like
- 3:11Speaker 2: I wanted to protect this place.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:14Speaker 2: But literally... People drive down the street and yell my
- 3:17Speaker 2: name all the time.
- 3:18Speaker 3: I know.
- 3:18Speaker 4: You told me about that. You said some fans showed
- 3:21Speaker 4: up and it's just like, how are they even finding
- 3:22Speaker 4: the address?
- 3:23Speaker 2: Well, Eddie was out there working on his motorcycle and
- 3:26Speaker 2: they're like, Eddie, Eddie.
- 3:27Speaker 5: How did they find the address? It's crazy.
- 3:29Speaker 3: I have no idea.
- 3:30Speaker 2: That's kind of scary. No idea whatsoever. Now, you and
- 3:34Speaker 2: Nico will be in Big Bear in a couple of
- 3:35Speaker 2: weeks to attend the Oktoberfest. Yep.
- 3:38Speaker 4: And I'm putting him in lederhosen, whether he likes it
- 3:40Speaker 4: or not.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Yes.
- 3:41Speaker 4: He has to wear the little Peter Pan hat. And
- 3:43Speaker 4: he has to wear the little suspenders. He has to.
- 3:46Speaker 2: So Oktoberfest is going on the whole month of October,
- 3:49Speaker 2: parts of November. I think it actually started in September.
- 3:52Speaker 2: It's one of the biggest Oktoberfests.
- 3:54Speaker 3: I heard.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Like around. So it's really fun. This is, I think,
- 3:57Speaker 2: our third time going. Second time going dressed up. But
- 4:01Speaker 2: I'm getting Eddie a more elaborate outfit.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Yeah, you got to get a better outfit than the
- 4:05Speaker 4: Amazon one. You got to go like crazy. Some of
- 4:08Speaker 4: them are expensive.
- 4:09Speaker 3: I know.
- 4:09Speaker 4: I'm willing to shell out a few bucks, honestly.
- 4:11Speaker 2: You are?
- 4:12Speaker 4: I was looking into it. I was looking on Depop.
- 4:14Speaker 4: I was looking on eBay. I'm trying to find something good.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Oh my goodness. So now you're allowed to drink, but
- 4:19Speaker 2: also you're allowed to be in the audience at Watch
- 4:21Speaker 2: What Happens Live. You will be the bartender when I go.
- 4:27Speaker 2: So what are your thoughts on.
- 4:30Speaker 4: I'm excited, but I'm nervous as anyone would be. I
- 4:33Speaker 4: realized as we're talking about the bartending role, I'm like,
- 4:36Speaker 4: I don't know what that means.
- 4:37Speaker 2: It just made you stand there.
- 4:38Speaker 6: I know.
- 4:39Speaker 4: But I realized like all these times I went with
- 4:42Speaker 4: you to watch happens live all these times. I've never
- 4:44Speaker 4: really watched it. I've never watched the show before. I've
- 4:47Speaker 4: always just been there to support you. And I'm like,
- 4:49Speaker 4: I'm like. wait i don't even know what the bartender
- 4:52Speaker 4: role is so i've been doing research i've been looking into.
- 4:54Speaker 2: It it's not it trust me it's about the easiest
- 4:56Speaker 2: job yeah.
- 4:57Speaker 4: I saw some very cool people have done it before
- 4:59Speaker 4: and i was like you know what i'll it'll be
- 5:01Speaker 4: a breeze i just hope i don't have to make
- 5:03Speaker 4: any drinks because.
- 5:04Speaker 2: You don't you don't you can drink though you can
- 5:07Speaker 2: drink yeah good pictures um I remember, when was it?
- 5:12Speaker 2: Four years ago? Well, when I came back, I think
- 5:14Speaker 2: my first year back, I wanted you to sit in
- 5:16Speaker 2: the audience. I didn't know you had to be 21
- 5:17Speaker 2: years old. So you were really bummed about that. So
- 5:20Speaker 2: they let you come out and give a gift.
- 5:24Speaker 4: Yeah, I was allowed to come out, but I wasn't
- 5:25Speaker 4: allowed to sit in the audience.
- 5:27Speaker 2: And remember you were so nervous you ran off?
- 5:30Speaker 1: Yes.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Okay.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Let me explain my side because I saw a lot
- 5:33Speaker 4: of people talking about like, oh my God, she ran off.
- 5:35Speaker 4: What is the problem? The problem is you don't realize, guys,
- 5:38Speaker 4: when you walk out there, you are blinded by lights.
- 5:41Speaker 4: It is negative zero degrees. It's like you're doing a
- 5:44Speaker 4: cold plunge. So I walk out there. I'm completely blinded.
- 5:49Speaker 4: It's freezing. I don't know what's going on. I didn't
- 5:52Speaker 4: get any direction really, except for like, oh, give this
- 5:55Speaker 4: to Andy. It's a gift. And so I walk out there.
- 5:57Speaker 4: I'm like, there's a whole audience. I'm like, I don't
- 6:00Speaker 4: know what's going on. I give him the thing and
- 6:02Speaker 4: that's all I thought I was doing. So I give
- 6:03Speaker 4: it to him and I walk away because that's what
- 6:05Speaker 4: I thought.
- 6:06Speaker 2: And as you're walking away, he's asking you a question
- 6:08Speaker 2: and he's like, okay, well, there she goes.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Dude, not my proudest moment, but... That's okay. It happens.
- 6:25Speaker 2: So today we have Alexis... I want to say Bellino,
- 6:29Speaker 2: but now she's married to John Jansen. So Alexis Jansen
- 6:32Speaker 2: and McKenna Bellino on the pod. You know, like I said,
- 6:37Speaker 2: people really love this mother-daughter duo interviews. Now you met McKenna. Yeah.
- 6:44Speaker 2: In season five at a pool party at our house.
- 6:47Speaker 2: And we're going to talk to them about it because
- 6:50Speaker 2: we actually watched the clip. All of us, me, you, Alexis,
- 6:55Speaker 2: her daughter, everybody watched the clip. And I heard what
- 6:58Speaker 2: Alexis had to say. You told me stuff, you know,
- 7:01Speaker 2: what you noticed. So we're going to actually have a
- 7:03Speaker 2: little conversation about it before we actually get into the interview.
- 7:06Speaker 2: So let's go ahead and bring in Alexis Jansen and
- 7:09Speaker 2: McKenna Foligno.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Hello.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Hi.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Hi, guys. Welcome.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Welcome to The Orange Doesn't Fall Far. And you are
- 7:19Speaker 2: the second mom and daughter duo to come on to
- 7:22Speaker 2: our podcast. So thank you so much for being here. Now,
- 7:27Speaker 2: Sophia and McKenna, I think there's a Sophia, you're a
- 7:29Speaker 2: little bit older, right? You're James's age. I think you're James' age.
- 7:33Speaker 3: I'm 18.
- 7:34Speaker 5: Yeah. A little bit older.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:36Speaker 2: So we talked about earlier before you guys got on
- 7:40Speaker 2: that we all watched season five, episode three. And you
- 7:45Speaker 2: guys met then. You were so little. Sophia was four.
- 7:47Speaker 2: You had to have been two.
- 7:49Speaker 7: She was two and a half to three.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:51Speaker 7: A year and a half apart. A year and 14 months.
- 7:54Speaker 2: The scene starts out with me getting ready for the
- 7:56Speaker 2: 4th of July. We're having a party. I think it's
- 7:58Speaker 2: the first time that you guys came over to the house.
- 8:01Speaker 2: We're having a pool party. And then Simon's, I'm like saying,
- 8:05Speaker 2: I'm hungry.
- 8:06Speaker 4: I'm hungry.
- 8:07Speaker 2: He's like, eat. And I'm like, you know, I don't
- 8:08Speaker 2: eat when it's summertime.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Oh my God.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Do you know how much like shit I got for
- 8:15Speaker 2: saying that?
- 8:17Speaker 4: Dude, that was gnarly. I can't even lie. I saw that.
- 8:21Speaker 4: That does not age well.
- 8:23Speaker 5: It doesn't.
- 8:23Speaker 7: But you know what?
- 8:24Speaker 2: I'm going to blame, I'm going to blame Alexis.
- 8:25Speaker 5: Okay.
- 8:27Speaker 2: We saw that rock and body that she came out,
- 8:29Speaker 2: you know, how she had, Three kids at that time,
- 8:32Speaker 2: a set of twins.
- 8:34Speaker 4: It was also the 2000s.
- 8:35Speaker 3: It was the 2000s culture for sure.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Now, Alexis, do you remember telling me about a diet
- 8:41Speaker 2: that you did and I tried it? Do you remember
- 8:43Speaker 2: what it was?
- 8:45Speaker 5: I don't remember it, but I gave it to a
- 8:46Speaker 5: lot of my friends.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Saltine crackers and cottage cheese.
- 8:50Speaker 5: No, no, no, no, no.
- 8:53Speaker 7: It was a doctor.
- 8:54Speaker 5: It was actually done by a trainer that gave it
- 8:56Speaker 5: to me. And you even had a scoop of vanilla
- 8:58Speaker 5: ice cream at bedtime.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Oh, no, this was a different one.
- 9:01Speaker 5: Oh, because he was regulating this doctor or this trainer
- 9:04Speaker 5: was regulating like your blood sugar and all this.
- 9:07Speaker 7: And what you would eat was very regimented through the day.
- 9:10Speaker 2: But it was so much on this one. Sophia recently
- 9:14Speaker 2: sent me a TikTok that popped up on her for you.
- 9:17Speaker 2: It was a TikTok of you taking this tiniest little
- 9:21Speaker 2: bite of bread and you go, I just, I just
- 9:23Speaker 2: need one more bite.
- 9:24Speaker 3: She still does that too.
- 9:26Speaker 5: I remember that. I do eat like a mouse. I
- 9:29Speaker 5: eat little amounts all through the day.
- 9:31Speaker 7: So I eat like a mouse. I'm a bird.
- 9:32Speaker 5: I'm a rabbit.
- 9:33Speaker 7: I love vegetables.
- 9:35Speaker 2: So you, Jim and the kids come to the house and,
- 9:39Speaker 2: you know, me and Simon, you could tell there was,
- 9:41Speaker 2: you know, like our foundation was breaking. That's for sure.
- 9:45Speaker 2: And I remember saying like, Oh my God, you and
- 9:48Speaker 2: Jim have just the perfect marriage.
- 9:53Speaker 4: That aged well. Okay.
- 9:54Speaker 6: That's when I watched that scene with you, I was like,
- 9:59Speaker 6: this is, is the only scene that I think Tamara
- 10:01Speaker 6: actually liked my ex the entire time I filmed the
- 10:05Speaker 6: next three or four years.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Well, we all know what happened there, but I will
- 10:08Speaker 2: say like, I don't remember like looking back at it.
- 10:11Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, she was very nice. And he was
- 10:13Speaker 2: in my refrigerator getting ketchup and everything was fine. It
- 10:19Speaker 2: What did you girls take of it? Because I seriously
- 10:22Speaker 2: doubt either one of you are watching old episodes of
- 10:25Speaker 2: Housewives when you were little, right?
- 10:27Speaker 3: Well, I haven't watched any of the Housewives, actually. That
- 10:30Speaker 3: was the first one that I've actually watched. And I
- 10:34Speaker 3: was just like, the whole culture, I think the 2000s
- 10:37Speaker 3: is so different. And I was just laughing the whole time.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Like, it just didn't look real because my mom is like, what,
- 10:43Speaker 1: late 30s.
- 10:44Speaker 3: And I'm like a I was 32, late 30s.
- 10:46Speaker 4: I started in my 30s already.
- 10:51Speaker 5: How old am I right now, Kenna?
- 10:52Speaker 3: Well, because I feel like everyone was a little bit
- 10:54Speaker 3: older than you.
- 10:55Speaker 7: No, how old am I right now, Kenna?
- 10:59Speaker 1: 49.
- 10:59Speaker 5: Yes, because next year's my, this January's my big one.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Good job.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Oh my goodness. Now we see you in your bikini
- 11:06Speaker 2: and I'm going to tell you right now, in my confessional,
- 11:09Speaker 2: they did this a lot back then. They don't do
- 11:11Speaker 2: it so much anymore. They asked me a million different
- 11:13Speaker 2: times to say, I'm jealous of Alexis because they wanted
- 11:16Speaker 2: that bite when you took your cover up off and
- 11:19Speaker 2: you got in the pool and your body was flawless.
- 11:22Speaker 2: And I kept saying, I'm not saying that, guys, because
- 11:24Speaker 2: I don't really feel that way. Like, yeah, she's beautiful,
- 11:27Speaker 2: like all this. But I'm like, it's not something I
- 11:29Speaker 2: would say. So they cut together and you could hear
- 11:34Speaker 2: where it's cut a line where it said, I've got
- 11:37Speaker 2: jealousy issue with Alexis.
- 11:40Speaker 5: I totally caught it back. But Tamara, back then I
- 11:44Speaker 5: wasn't savvy enough to catch it. I thought it was,
- 11:46Speaker 5: and now it's like, I was like, okay, that was
- 11:48Speaker 5: completely spliced.
- 11:49Speaker 7: Like, I mean, it's funny.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Um, Sophia, do you, what do you take away? What did,
- 11:56Speaker 2: when you watched it, what is, what was it like
- 11:58Speaker 2: for you?
- 11:59Speaker 4: You know, McKenna, it's funny. Cause same for me. I
- 12:01Speaker 4: haven't seen like any housewives at all. None of it.
- 12:04Speaker 4: I don't watch it. I've never watched it. I've only
- 12:06Speaker 4: seen little bits and pieces on like social media. So
- 12:09Speaker 4: like actually sitting down and watching an episode was very like,
- 12:12Speaker 4: especially because it was my old house I grew up
- 12:15Speaker 4: in and it was like, my dad was there and like,
- 12:18Speaker 4: it's just so bizarre to see it now. But it,
- 12:22Speaker 4: you know, I think looking back through like a 2020s lens,
- 12:25Speaker 4: you can definitely see like the parts of it that
- 12:27Speaker 4: are very two thousands, whether it's like the eating part
- 12:31Speaker 4: or like the edited part where it's like, I'm jealous
- 12:33Speaker 4: of Alexis, you know, at the time everyone was like,
- 12:37Speaker 4: this is crazy. Like, Oh my God. And now you
- 12:39Speaker 4: look back and you're like, okay, come on.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:41Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 12:42Speaker 7: Can I ask you guys something, though?
- 12:44Speaker 5: What did you think about how, Tamara, our voices were
- 12:47Speaker 5: so high.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Is that because of the film technology back then?
- 12:53Speaker 2: Well, I think gravity is even affecting our voices at
- 12:56Speaker 2: this time in our lives.
- 12:58Speaker 7: Well, we're both almost 50 and over, so okay.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Well, I'm at the end of the 50s, so throw
- 13:03Speaker 2: that out there.
- 13:04Speaker 7: I know, but I'm almost 50 and over, but yeah.
- 13:07Speaker 2: McKenna, you're at college right now.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Yes, I'm in my apartment right now.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Are you in a dorm or apartment?
- 13:13Speaker 4: I have an apartment.
- 13:15Speaker 1: So I'm living with three other girls and we're all
- 13:17Speaker 1: in different bedrooms, but we have like a living room, kitchen.
- 13:21Speaker 3: It's all in one room, but yeah.
- 13:22Speaker 5: Two shared bathrooms.
- 13:23Speaker 7: They get two to a bathroom, which is better.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Yes.
- 13:25Speaker 3: It's really nice, honestly.
- 13:26Speaker 4: Better than a dorms.
- 13:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Well, let's get into the mother-daughter questions. So if I
- 13:32Speaker 2: can start with that.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Okay.
- 13:34Speaker 4: McKenna, how are you liking being at college?
- 13:37Speaker 3: I love it here.
- 13:38Speaker 1: We've been doing like camping trips and Just hanging out
- 13:40Speaker 1: with my friends. I've met a ton of new people.
- 13:42Speaker 1: I'm actually having some people over for dinner tonight and
- 13:46Speaker 1: we're doing game night.
- 13:49Speaker 3: So just really fun. Great community.
- 13:50Speaker 4: That's awesome.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Alexis, I have a question for you. How has this
- 13:55Speaker 2: transition been for you, mama? Because I... I have a
- 13:58Speaker 2: lot to say about that.
- 14:00Speaker 5: Well, I'm sure I'm going to ask you the same thing,
- 14:02Speaker 5: but we were both lucky, Tamara, because we had, you
- 14:06Speaker 5: did too, but I still have one here.
- 14:08Speaker 7: So it's not like I all of a sudden was
- 14:09Speaker 7: an empty nester all at once.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:11Speaker 7: That part's nice.
- 14:12Speaker 5: It's been kind of tough. I mean, I miss her,
- 14:14Speaker 5: but I know she's flourishing. We've been gone almost every
- 14:17Speaker 5: weekend since she left. She's only been gone, they started
- 14:19Speaker 5: late at the school, but she's only been gone about
- 14:22Speaker 5: a month, but we've been gone almost every weekend. So
- 14:24Speaker 5: that has helped because I'm like, it's a whirlwind around here, but-
- 14:27Speaker 5: I missed the heck out of her. I told her
- 14:29Speaker 5: I'm going there for parents weekend this weekend. And I said,
- 14:31Speaker 5: I'm probably not going to stop hugging you or touching you.
- 14:33Speaker 5: You're going to be, I'm going to hold your hand.
- 14:35Speaker 5: I'm going to grab your arm.
- 14:36Speaker 7: I'm going to hold you. I'm like, like I need
- 14:38Speaker 7: to get my, what about you?
- 14:42Speaker 2: You know, Sophia is not far away. She's 45 minutes away. So,
- 14:46Speaker 2: and Spencer was the same distance. They actually live in
- 14:49Speaker 2: the same apartment building. So it's really nice that it's
- 14:53Speaker 2: not the same apartment, but the same apartment building.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Right.
- 14:55Speaker 2: And it's nice that I know that Spencer's there to
- 14:58Speaker 2: kind of look after her, you know, I'm here to
- 15:00Speaker 2: look after each other, but it's actually probably more Sophia
- 15:04Speaker 2: looking Spencer, you know, right.
- 15:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 15:09Speaker 2: So, I mean, it's definitely been an adjustment more so
- 15:13Speaker 2: like at home, you know, like we still talk a lot,
- 15:16Speaker 2: but at home, it's just different around the house. Like
- 15:20Speaker 2: the first few months you get up and you like,
- 15:22Speaker 2: you know, I'd see her in the morning at the coffee,
- 15:24Speaker 2: you know, and things like that. And it's like, it's
- 15:26Speaker 2: a lot to adjust to, but we got a puppy.
- 15:29Speaker 2: That's kind of filled a little.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Bit of a void.
- 15:30Speaker 4: I got replaced by a puppy.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Wow.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Sophia, I completely.
- 15:34Speaker 5: Think your mom was going through like the empty nesting
- 15:37Speaker 5: thing when she came home with that dog.
- 15:39Speaker 7: I'm like, okay, that is, you, ask them.
- 15:41Speaker 3: I know.
- 15:42Speaker 4: They said they're getting a dog after they said they
- 15:44Speaker 4: were never getting a dog again.
- 15:45Speaker 5: I know. I was dying and I was laughing and
- 15:48Speaker 5: I'm like, she's empty nesting. I swear I cannot handle
- 15:51Speaker 5: another dog right now.
- 15:52Speaker 7: I'm not doing that.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Golly. Yeah, but I definitely miss, I also miss being
- 15:58Speaker 4: at home. I miss the moments in the morning when,
- 16:00Speaker 4: like she said, like I'm making coffee, my mom walks in,
- 16:03Speaker 4: she's like, what are you doing? What do you have
- 16:04Speaker 4: to do? I miss it. But I think also it
- 16:08Speaker 4: kind of like grows into this thing where you appreciate
- 16:10Speaker 4: the moments more when you're hanging out with your mom.
- 16:14Speaker 4: I mean, do you guys feel that?
- 16:16Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely. We haven't had that yet.
- 16:17Speaker 5: This weekend is going to be that. But we would,
- 16:19Speaker 5: Ken and I would dance around the kitchen the whole time. Like, oh, oops, sorry.
- 16:22Speaker 5: Bumping in in the refrigerator. And then, oh, we're both
- 16:24Speaker 5: at the coffee espresso machine at the same time. And
- 16:26Speaker 5: then we're, like, we would do that little kitchen dance.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Yeah, somehow we'd always bump into each other before school.
- 16:32Speaker 5: We were always going to the dishwasher at the same
- 16:33Speaker 5: time instead of one of us going on the other side.
- 16:35Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 16:35Speaker 7: It was weird.
- 16:36Speaker 5: So I miss all of that. But, like, this is
- 16:39Speaker 5: our first time, guys, of seeing each other since she left.
- 16:42Speaker 5: So we– Oh, aw. But the good news is– oh, oh, oh.
- 16:46Speaker 5: The reason mom is happier than a heyday is Ken
- 16:49Speaker 5: is coming home for a week in October, a week
- 16:51Speaker 5: in November and a week in December. So I will,
- 16:54Speaker 5: it's been a hard month without her, but now I'm
- 16:57Speaker 5: going to get my fix. So it's good.
- 16:58Speaker 3: This is the longest stretch that we have to go.
- 17:00Speaker 4: So yeah. Do you guys talk often? How many times
- 17:04Speaker 4: do you guys talk a day?
- 17:06Speaker 3: We text a lot.
- 17:08Speaker 5: Sometimes three times a day. The most I'll go without
- 17:10Speaker 5: calling her is I'll let one day go by. If
- 17:13Speaker 5: 24 hours go by and I haven't heard her voice,
- 17:15Speaker 5: I'm legit like texting and calling that, you know, I
- 17:18Speaker 5: have to talk. So yeah.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Alexis, out of all your kids, who do you talk
- 17:21Speaker 2: to the most on the phone?
- 17:24Speaker 5: Well, it's her because she's there. James lives only 10 minutes,
- 17:26Speaker 5: 15 minutes from my house. And I still text him
- 17:29Speaker 5: every day. Miles lives with me.
- 17:31Speaker 7: And then Ken has gone. So I call her.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Can you give us an update on James? Because you
- 17:36Speaker 2: recently posted that he got married and Fire Academy. So
- 17:40Speaker 2: how's he doing?
- 17:41Speaker 5: He's doing amazing. He's in the running for a position.
- 17:45Speaker 7: It's very.
- 17:47Speaker 5: It's very competitive in the firefighting field here in Newport
- 17:53Speaker 5: Beach area. So we've been doing a lot of getting
- 17:57Speaker 5: that done. He's moved into an apartment. It's with his wife.
- 18:00Speaker 7: It's lovely.
- 18:01Speaker 5: They've decorated it so cute. humble beginnings, I will say.
- 18:05Speaker 5: And I think their whole.
- 18:08Speaker 7: Apartment is the size of my bedroom.
- 18:09Speaker 3: It's very small.
- 18:11Speaker 7: My entire bedroom and closet is their entire apartment.
- 18:13Speaker 3: And James is like a giant. He's like 6'5. So
- 18:16Speaker 3: then you walk in and he's taking up the whole room.
- 18:18Speaker 5: But he's so happy. They're both so happy. They're doing great.
- 18:21Speaker 5: So I'm very proud of him.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 18:23Speaker 5: He's working as an EMT right now until he gets,
- 18:26Speaker 5: and he's going, you know, he still had, he started
- 18:28Speaker 5: the Fire Academy journey with still a year and a
- 18:30Speaker 5: half of college left. So he's, finishing up some college
- 18:33Speaker 5: while he's waiting to get, you know, hired.
- 18:37Speaker 7: And then he'll be doing college and a firefighting at
- 18:39Speaker 7: the same time.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Well, like, it sounds like, like his height, he's also
- 18:43Speaker 2: an overachiever. Like he's reaching for the stars for everything.
- 18:47Speaker 5: No, he's been like this since he was out of
- 18:50Speaker 5: my womb though.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Good job, mama.
- 18:52Speaker 7: He has not stopped. No, it's him. It's not me.
- 18:55Speaker 5: He, he has been, you know, 10 when he was two,
- 18:58Speaker 5: he's always, he's always been very old soul.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Yes.
- 19:01Speaker 5: Old soul. For sure.
- 19:03Speaker 2: That's how Spencer is. But like, he's a really old soul.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Like he's.
- 19:08Speaker 4: Yeah, definitely.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:09Speaker 2: He's like 80.
- 19:10Speaker 5: I call him grandpa.
- 19:13Speaker 7: Just instead of James, it's just grandpa. Okay, grandpa. Let's
- 19:16Speaker 7: go to lunch.
- 19:18Speaker 4: That's like you and Spencer.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure.
- 19:23Speaker 5: But it's interesting because I feel like I just have
- 19:28Speaker 5: such a great relationship with each kid, but it's so different.
- 19:31Speaker 5: And now seeing him grow up, I understand why parents say,
- 19:34Speaker 5: because I've always said I just miss them a little.
- 19:36Speaker 7: I want them back. I want all of them in
- 19:38Speaker 7: my house. But now seeing them as.
- 19:40Speaker 5: Adults, and I'm sure you see this, Tamara, because yours
- 19:42Speaker 5: are a little bit older than mine, but it just
- 19:45Speaker 5: feels good to see who they're becoming, the path they're taking.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Yeah. don't know.
- 19:50Speaker 7: It's really cool.
- 19:58Speaker 4: Like I said, since I've moved out, me and my mom,
- 20:01Speaker 4: you know, when we talk, it is way more important
- 20:03Speaker 4: now because it's not as frequent as it used to be.
- 20:05Speaker 4: Do you think the distance has made your guys' conversations
- 20:08Speaker 4: more important? I don't know.
- 20:13Speaker 3: Sometimes we talk about just dumb stuff.
- 20:16Speaker 4: I guess not more important, but more near to your heart.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely.
- 20:21Speaker 5: For me, for sure.
- 20:22Speaker 3: It's not like we just see each other walk by
- 20:25Speaker 3: in the house. It's like, oh, what's up?
- 20:27Speaker 1: You have to make the intention to call them and
- 20:29Speaker 1: have a conversation. The intention to send a text.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:32Speaker 5: But when Kenna has actually a moment and I get
- 20:34Speaker 5: her like, we'll be on the phone for maybe two hours.
- 20:36Speaker 5: There was one day that we were literally on the
- 20:38Speaker 5: phone for two hours.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 20:39Speaker 7: And Johnny was like busy. He's like, what the hell?
- 20:43Speaker 7: And I'm like, well, I miss my kid. And he's
- 20:45Speaker 7: just like, well, we were supposed to be at lunch
- 20:47Speaker 7: 45 minutes ago. And I'm like, well, you could have
- 20:50Speaker 7: knocked on my head or something.
- 20:51Speaker 5: He's like, I didn't want to interrupt you guys.
- 20:52Speaker 7: It was so cute. And I'm just like, yeah. So
- 20:55Speaker 7: I'll stay on the phone with her as long as
- 20:57Speaker 7: I can have her when I don't have her.
- 20:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:00Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 21:00Speaker 2: McKenna, now that you're in college, what is one thing
- 21:03Speaker 2: you appreciate your mom did for you that you can't
- 21:07Speaker 2: do anymore that she's not there to do or something
- 21:10Speaker 2: you guys would do together? What is it?
- 21:13Speaker 3: I love her cooking.
- 21:14Speaker 1: She's always been like the best cook. She cooks almost
- 21:18Speaker 1: every night when I was home. And like now it's
- 21:21Speaker 1: definitely a lot different because I'm falling on a budget
- 21:24Speaker 1: and like just trying to get by. So I just
- 21:28Speaker 1: meal prep and stuff. So I miss like.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Coming home and having Like, a really intricate home-cooked meal.
- 21:33Speaker 2: That's something Sophia doesn't miss.
- 21:34Speaker 1: No.
- 21:35Speaker 6: Really?
- 21:36Speaker 4: I do not miss your cooking at all. I love you, Mom,
- 21:40Speaker 4: but you're not good at cooking. I mean, you're not
- 21:43Speaker 4: bad at cooking.
- 21:44Speaker 5: Sorry.
- 21:45Speaker 4: You're not bad at cooking, but, like, I do not
- 21:47Speaker 4: miss coming home and seeing the crock pot on the
- 21:49Speaker 4: counter and being like.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Well, I'm like the cook that doesn't put like a
- 21:53Speaker 2: lot of seasoning and spices in it because I've always
- 21:56Speaker 2: had like a really bad stomach.
- 21:56Speaker 4: White mom core.
- 21:58Speaker 3: Yes.
- 21:58Speaker 7: That's your mom's tummy though.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's my tummy. But Sophia has a very strange palate.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Like she likes.
- 22:06Speaker 4: Oh my God.
- 22:06Speaker 2: She eats sardines.
- 22:08Speaker 4: Okay.
- 22:10Speaker 5: Okay.
- 22:11Speaker 7: That's grandma Penelope. That's this one. She would put out
- 22:14Speaker 7: of the can.
- 22:15Speaker 2: That's what she does.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Okay.
- 22:18Speaker 4: They are so good for you. They're so good for you.
- 22:20Speaker 3: That's what my mom.
- 22:21Speaker 7: And that's exactly what my mom would say.
- 22:23Speaker 4: It's true. They're so good for you. There's so many
- 22:25Speaker 4: like Omega somethings in them and they're good.
- 22:29Speaker 6: There's something.
- 22:29Speaker 2: They taste good.
- 22:31Speaker 4: It's easy.
- 22:34Speaker 2: They're fishy.
- 22:35Speaker 4: You guys will get on my wavelength one day.
- 22:37Speaker 2: And you try to push them on your boyfriend too. Yes.
- 22:42Speaker 7: They have to have the same bad breath.
- 22:44Speaker 5: Oh, exactly.
- 22:45Speaker 7: He's got to have it.
- 22:46Speaker 2: That's a good point.
- 22:46Speaker 4: He's got to have the pickled onions, the sardines, the kimchi.
- 22:52Speaker 4: If you take a bite of garlic. My gut microbiome
- 22:54Speaker 4: is very well developed.
- 22:56Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, she's got it.
- 22:57Speaker 7: Your flora is perfect.
- 22:58Speaker 4: Yep, exactly.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I don't like that stuff. And one
- 23:02Speaker 2: of the things I always thought about when she's eating
- 23:04Speaker 2: all this stuff, I'm like, oh, God, what does her
- 23:06Speaker 2: breath smell like? And I'm like, so you're just like
- 23:08Speaker 2: getting him to eat all the same shit.
- 23:10Speaker 4: Yeah, he doesn't mind, I think.
- 23:13Speaker 7: Like, have you guys ever noticed a truffle?
- 23:14Speaker 5: Like I'm not a big truffle girl, but I've noticed
- 23:16Speaker 5: when you take one bite, it stays with you for
- 23:18Speaker 5: like a day.
- 23:19Speaker 7: Yeah. Like I will force.
- 23:21Speaker 5: John to have a, if I accidentally have a bite
- 23:22Speaker 5: and I'm like, Oh, baby, try this.
- 23:24Speaker 1: And then I'm.
- 23:24Speaker 4: Like, fun fact. If you eat anything super strong, like
- 23:28Speaker 4: garlic or anything, and it stays on your breath. If
- 23:30Speaker 4: you eat an apple, it'll go away.
- 23:32Speaker 2: What?
- 23:34Speaker 7: Okay.
- 23:36Speaker 2: This girl knows a lot about everything. Like she knows
- 23:39Speaker 2: a little bit about everything. Like it's just like the
- 23:41Speaker 2: weirdest stuff.
- 23:42Speaker 7: I'm like, she's like, okay, a jeopardy you'd win.
- 23:46Speaker 4: I just love doing research and I love just going
- 23:49Speaker 4: on social media.
- 23:51Speaker 2: McKenna, is your mom a cool mom? And when it,
- 23:55Speaker 2: how about dating?
- 23:56Speaker 5: Like, Answer this honestly, Kenna, because I didn't ask you
- 23:59Speaker 5: a question.
- 23:59Speaker 7: I want you to be honest. You can say no.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Is she the kind of mom that you talk about dating,
- 24:04Speaker 2: you tell her everything?
- 24:05Speaker 3: Well, I don't tell her everything.
- 24:10Speaker 7: Your Christmas stocking is at stake right now, girlfriend.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Okay, well, I always thought when.
- 24:17Speaker 1: I was younger, I was like, she's such a helicopter mom.
- 24:20Speaker 1: She's overly involved. But I think that the older I get,
- 24:25Speaker 1: the dynamic changes and.
- 24:26Speaker 3: She's definitely a cool mom.
- 24:28Speaker 1: She's, she tries to be hip and cool moms don't
- 24:30Speaker 1: say hip, but she says hip.
- 24:33Speaker 4: She tries.
- 24:34Speaker 7: Did you hear that girl?
- 24:36Speaker 4: She tries.
- 24:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Before we get into the family and questions about that,
- 24:41Speaker 2: how do you respond to backlash that your mom has
- 24:45Speaker 2: gotten on the show? Like it hasn't been easy for
- 24:47Speaker 2: her the past few years. She came back for one
- 24:50Speaker 2: season and then she was on a recent episode and
- 24:54Speaker 2: it's just like, How do you get... Do you read
- 24:58Speaker 2: this stuff? Do you get protective?
- 24:59Speaker 5: Does it.
- 25:01Speaker 3: Well, I like follow her Instagram and stuff.
- 25:03Speaker 1: And I think the main thing was season 18 that
- 25:07Speaker 1: she was on recently was really hard to see because
- 25:11Speaker 1: it's just like mean girls and just talking crap behind
- 25:14Speaker 1: each other's backs.
- 25:15Speaker 3: And I know she doesn't stand for that.
- 25:17Speaker 1: And I feel like it kind of brings out the
- 25:19Speaker 1: worst side of a person to be on a show
- 25:20Speaker 1: like that.
- 25:21Speaker 6: But.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Now, I mean, when I was younger, I didn't get
- 25:25Speaker 1: any backlash from it because I, I don't know, I
- 25:28Speaker 1: didn't even really know what Housewives was.
- 25:30Speaker 3: And now it's just funny when my friends are like, oh,
- 25:33Speaker 3: your mom's a housewife? Like, that's so funny.
- 25:35Speaker 1: I don't, because she's not, she's on like three seasons,
- 25:37Speaker 1: you know, so she doesn't, she did get recognized on
- 25:40Speaker 1: move-in day though.
- 25:41Speaker 3: That was really funny.
- 25:42Speaker 4: Oh, really?
- 25:43Speaker 1: By the girls in the apartment across from me. And
- 25:46Speaker 1: the girl was like, um, is.
- 25:47Speaker 4: Your mom Alexis Bellino?
- 25:49Speaker 3: She's like, can I say hi? And then she came out.
- 25:52Speaker 3: I was like, this hasn't happened in a while.
- 25:53Speaker 4: How do you feel when your mom gets recognized and
- 25:56Speaker 4: you're there?
- 25:56Speaker 1: I feel like it's just kind of funny. I just
- 25:59Speaker 1: laugh at it because it's just like, I don't know.
- 26:02Speaker 3: She's just my mom.
- 26:03Speaker 1: But then I watched it today and I was like,
- 26:05Speaker 1: she kind of was like baddie.
- 26:09Speaker 4: No, that's honestly so real. Like whenever people talk to
- 26:12Speaker 4: my mom, they're like, I'm a big fan.
- 26:14Speaker 3: I'm a big fan.
- 26:14Speaker 4: I'm just like... but that's just my mom. Like, what
- 26:17Speaker 4: are we doing here guys? Like, but looking at the video,
- 26:21Speaker 4: I'm like, I guess she was kind of a big deal.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Whatever. Whatever.
- 26:26Speaker 6: Whatever.
- 26:27Speaker 2: With my bleached short hair.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:29Speaker 4: Very bleached hair.
- 26:31Speaker 7: Tamara, our style. Oh my gosh.
- 26:34Speaker 2: You were fine.
- 26:34Speaker 4: It's iconic. No, I was. I love it.
- 26:38Speaker 7: You see my jorts, my skin.
- 26:40Speaker 2: No, the jorts are coming back.
- 26:42Speaker 4: The jorts are coming back.
- 26:43Speaker 7: It looked good.
- 26:44Speaker 5: I'm like, okay, can I, I'm glad you thought I
- 26:47Speaker 5: was a baddie.
- 26:47Speaker 7: Cause your mom needed a little fashion help back then.
- 26:51Speaker 3: You fit in the trend back then.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Let's get into the family portion here, a little section.
- 26:57Speaker 2: And we have a few questions for you.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:59Speaker 4: McKenna, what is it like being a twin?
- 27:02Speaker 3: I love being a twin.
- 27:04Speaker 1: It's like my favorite thing to talk about because I
- 27:06Speaker 1: have a tattoo and it says one half.
- 27:08Speaker 5: That's my writing. That's my writing.
- 27:10Speaker 3: It's in my mom's writing.
- 27:13Speaker 1: And so people, especially now that like I don't live
- 27:15Speaker 1: with Miles, people are like, what's your tattoo for?
- 27:19Speaker 3: And no one knows him. And I'm like, I actually
- 27:20Speaker 3: have a twin. And then we're polar opposite.
- 27:24Speaker 1: So I think that it's so funny when we go
- 27:26Speaker 1: out back home, he's wearing like all black, like big piercings,
- 27:30Speaker 1: like spikes.
- 27:31Speaker 3: And I'm like a little like beach girl. I'm like,
- 27:33Speaker 3: I wonder what people think about us, but we're so close.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Like our personalities are the same. And I don't know,
- 27:40Speaker 1: being a twin has always been like my favorite thing.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Oh, not always.
- 27:44Speaker 5: Not always.
- 27:45Speaker 3: Not when I was like eight.
- 27:47Speaker 5: And they hated having the same birthday. And it was like,
- 27:49Speaker 5: I went through this like two or three years stint
- 27:51Speaker 5: where it was like, but mom, we have to share
- 27:53Speaker 5: the same cake. So then I had to start buying
- 27:54Speaker 5: two gourmet cakes. And I'm like, oh my gosh.
- 27:57Speaker 7: They're like, why do we always have to share the birthday?
- 27:58Speaker 5: I'm like, well, someone can have it Friday and someone
- 28:00Speaker 5: can have it Saturday or whatever it was.
- 28:01Speaker 7: You know, I'm like.
- 28:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:03Speaker 7: It hasn't always been that way, but they are best.
- 28:04Speaker 4: Best friends.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Well, since you showed your tattoo, I wasn't, I didn't
- 28:07Speaker 2: know about that, but I'm going to throw this in here.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Sophia has gotten several tattoos.
- 28:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:11Speaker 2: I can see 18. Um, how did your mom or
- 28:15Speaker 2: dad deal with tattoos?
- 28:17Speaker 3: Well, my mom knew that this is going to happen.
- 28:20Speaker 1: We got on our 18th birthday. Um, they're actually two
- 28:23Speaker 1: separate ones. I don't, she doesn't like the other one, but, um,
- 28:26Speaker 1: the one half too.
- 28:28Speaker 5: I mean, why the one half.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Is in her handwriting. Um, So she loved it and
- 28:32Speaker 3: it was really small. And then my dad didn't.
- 28:35Speaker 1: I mean, James kind of broke the barrier since he's
- 28:37Speaker 1: older and he got tattoos first. So he kind of
- 28:39Speaker 1: like took the brunt of the lecture from my dad.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Do all you guys, do Miles have tattoos as well?
- 28:44Speaker 3: Yes. I have the least out of all of us.
- 28:47Speaker 3: Miles has a ton of tattoos.
- 28:49Speaker 5: I have the least.
- 28:50Speaker 7: I think I have the least.
- 28:51Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 28:52Speaker 3: I mean, out of the kids.
- 28:53Speaker 1: But and then I got the other one in Colorado
- 28:56Speaker 1: with my friend's.
- 28:57Speaker 3: And she didn't really like that one, but.
- 28:59Speaker 4: What is the other one?
- 29:00Speaker 5: It's just.
- 29:01Speaker 3: It's literally on here.
- 29:02Speaker 7: The leaf under... The vine under.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Oh!
- 29:05Speaker 4: But that's so sweet.
- 29:06Speaker 3: It's just leaves. But.
- 29:07Speaker 2: I think it's pretty.
- 29:08Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Thank you. Both of you guys went through very public
- 29:14Speaker 2: divorces with your parents because we, you know, we were
- 29:18Speaker 2: public figures and a lot was talked about. And how
- 29:22Speaker 2: did you deal with that, McKenna?
- 29:25Speaker 1: And.
- 29:26Speaker 2: How did you, Alexis, navigate introducing a new male figure
- 29:31Speaker 2: into your kids' lives?
- 29:33Speaker 4: Well, for me, I don't know.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Like when I was growing up, it was never really
- 29:38Speaker 1: like the celebrity portion. of it was never really that
- 29:41Speaker 1: affecting to me.
- 29:42Speaker 7: We kept the kids very private from it. We didn't
- 29:44Speaker 7: talk about any of it. And they were only 10.
- 29:47Speaker 2: You were young.
- 29:48Speaker 7: Probably 11 or 12.
- 29:49Speaker 3: But the divorce was like, I feel like to me,
- 29:51Speaker 3: the divorce and then my mom being on house, I
- 29:53Speaker 3: was like two separate things. They don't really overlap.
- 29:56Speaker 1: But I think like, Now looking back, it's kind of
- 30:00Speaker 1: crazy to see like all these articles about my dad
- 30:03Speaker 1: and stuff, but I was too young to like realize what.
- 30:07Speaker 3: Any of it meant on online, you know?
- 30:09Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. And we didn't have social media until like
- 30:12Speaker 1: seventh or eighth grade. I didn't have Instagram and Snapchat
- 30:15Speaker 1: till high school. So I didn't really like know what
- 30:17Speaker 1: was going on.
- 30:19Speaker 7: I actually did that on purpose.
- 30:20Speaker 5: And the only reason I even gave them a phone
- 30:22Speaker 5: was because they were, I was, they were in a
- 30:23Speaker 5: different household and I was like, I need to be
- 30:25Speaker 5: able to get ahold of the kids. And, and, So
- 30:28Speaker 5: I gave them a cell phone before I even wanted to,
- 30:30Speaker 5: but I did keep social media out of their life
- 30:33Speaker 5: on purpose because of our life, Tamara.
- 30:36Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Well, we both have moved on. We both are happily
- 30:41Speaker 2: married now.
- 30:42Speaker 7: And you asked about how I brought about John.
- 30:45Speaker 5: So the funny thing about John, well, Drew, I didn't
- 30:47Speaker 5: bring up my fiance before. I didn't bring around until
- 30:50Speaker 5: we knew we were going to.
- 30:52Speaker 7: Take the next step. And then, so that was a few,
- 30:55Speaker 7: that was a while longer.
- 30:56Speaker 5: But then John, what happened is things were starting to
- 30:58Speaker 5: come out in the media, the press about it. And
- 31:00Speaker 5: so then my kids were like, why are we hearing
- 31:03Speaker 5: about him and we don't meet him? Like I want,
- 31:05Speaker 5: what's the deal? And so then I'm like, okay, well, okay,
- 31:07Speaker 5: we're going to do it. So that one I brought
- 31:08Speaker 5: around a little too soon for what.
- 31:10Speaker 7: I would have chosen. But the, you know, I was
- 31:13Speaker 7: out of my, I don't.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Think so because we were older and like, we, we've
- 31:17Speaker 1: already been introduced to a guy and to my dad,
- 31:20Speaker 1: like had girlfriends. So it didn't really matter. I think that,
- 31:23Speaker 1: Like once you meet the first guy, it's like, well,
- 31:26Speaker 1: my parents are going to start dating again, you know? Yeah.
- 31:29Speaker 3: Okay.
- 31:30Speaker 7: Good point.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:30Speaker 4: I mean, I can't even imagine as a parent being
- 31:32Speaker 4: in that situation because it's kind of like there is
- 31:35Speaker 4: no right time. There is no easy time to bring
- 31:38Speaker 4: in a person, especially if you're a public figure, you know,
- 31:41Speaker 4: it's eventually going to come out.
- 31:43Speaker 7: Well, my whole role.
- 31:45Speaker 5: Once I divorced Jim, my whole rule was I'm not
- 31:48Speaker 5: inviting them around anyone unless I know that person's not
- 31:51Speaker 5: just going to be a boyfriend. If it's just a
- 31:53Speaker 5: boyfriend or someone I'm dating, it's going to be the
- 31:55Speaker 5: next step. So when Drew and I were talking and
- 31:57Speaker 5: we decided we were. I wasn't just going to have
- 31:59Speaker 5: a revolving door.
- 32:00Speaker 7: You know what I mean? I dated people before Drew.
- 32:03Speaker 5: I dated other people between Drew and John.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Daniela.
- 32:08Speaker 7: Oh, you know what the kids would do, though? Oh,
- 32:09Speaker 7: I'd go in my car to talk because I didn't
- 32:11Speaker 7: want to hear them talking.
- 32:12Speaker 5: And they'd come in and open my car door and
- 32:14Speaker 5: be like, who's on the phone, mom?
- 32:17Speaker 1: Yeah, the first one she said was Daniela and lied
- 32:20Speaker 1: to us and said her friend was Daniela.
- 32:23Speaker 3: And guess what? It was a guy named Daniel.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Oh, my God. Well, now you're remarried and you just
- 32:28Speaker 2: celebrated your one year wedding anniversary.
- 32:30Speaker 6: What?
- 32:31Speaker 7: Yesterday, right?
- 32:32Speaker 3: Saturday.
- 32:32Speaker 4: Congrats.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:34Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 32:36Speaker 5: I'm glowing because we had two days away, like just
- 32:38Speaker 5: to just like chill. Like I literally kind of went
- 32:40Speaker 5: off the like I didn't do a ton of my phone.
- 32:43Speaker 5: I refuse to answer any emails or things that were important.
- 32:46Speaker 5: I'm like, I'm checking out for two days, guys.
- 32:48Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 32:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Now you've blended your families together. McKenna, what is your
- 32:54Speaker 2: relationship with John?
- 32:57Speaker 3: John is.
- 32:58Speaker 1: I think that it's very different when you're older because
- 33:01Speaker 1: he was in my life, but they never lived together.
- 33:05Speaker 1: You didn't have to do the whole, oh, his kids
- 33:09Speaker 1: are my siblings now because they're all 25 to 30.
- 33:13Speaker 3: So it was a little.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Different, but John is just very much... I said this
- 33:17Speaker 1: at their wedding. He's very much the peacemaker of the household.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Our household has a lot of chaos sometimes, but he's
- 33:24Speaker 1: very steady and a voice of reason.
- 33:27Speaker 3: Miles gets along with him great.
- 33:29Speaker 1: And I don't know, he's just like always there trying
- 33:32Speaker 1: to make other people feel better.
- 33:35Speaker 3: But the transition hasn't been too hard at all.
- 33:38Speaker 7: Awesome.
- 33:39Speaker 2: That's good. I love to hear that.
- 33:40Speaker 7: What about you, Sophia, with Eddie? Do you remember how–
- 33:43Speaker 7: that's been.
- 33:45Speaker 4: Long time ago.
- 33:46Speaker 7: But what was that like for you?
- 33:48Speaker 4: I feel like I remember it going pretty smoothly. Like,
- 33:50Speaker 4: I remember he came in– I think I was too
- 33:53Speaker 4: young to, like, really, like, comprehend a lot of stuff
- 33:56Speaker 4: that was happening at the time.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:58Speaker 2: You were, like, five.
- 33:59Speaker 4: Yeah, I was, like, five years old. So I just remember, oh,
- 34:01Speaker 4: there's this cool guy that watches Looney Tunes with me laughing. And–
- 34:06Speaker 4: He's still, I guess. Yeah, he's still.
- 34:08Speaker 2: But at different age, you went through different ups and
- 34:13Speaker 2: downs with Eddie as I think all the kids did.
- 34:17Speaker 2: You saw him as some fun guy that played games
- 34:21Speaker 2: with you and you put stickers all over his face
- 34:24Speaker 2: and you wanted to paint his nails and you watched
- 34:27Speaker 2: Looney Tunes and all that kind of stuff. And then
- 34:30Speaker 2: it got to middle school. Then it was like.
- 34:35Speaker 2: He became more of a disciplinary and it, then it
- 34:38Speaker 2: gets to a point where don't tell me what to do.
- 34:41Speaker 2: You're not my dad.
- 34:41Speaker 4: To be fair though, to be fair though, I was
- 34:43Speaker 4: like 14, 15. I would say that to everybody. I
- 34:46Speaker 4: was like, I know what's best. No one could tell
- 34:49Speaker 4: me what to do. And I was in middle school
- 34:50Speaker 4: and high school. So now looking back, like I can
- 34:52Speaker 4: see like, okay, you know, obviously.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Is that what you're going to say?
- 34:57Speaker 3: You said it.
- 34:58Speaker 4: I didn't say that.
- 34:58Speaker 2: I mean, the day that he went through the pantry
- 35:01Speaker 2: and took all the junk food, including your, what was it?
- 35:03Speaker 2: Crave or Cocoa Puffs?
- 35:04Speaker 4: I can't remember what it was. As a kid, I
- 35:06Speaker 4: loved sugar. I was so into sugar. And they had
- 35:10Speaker 4: a day where they went through our pantry and they
- 35:12Speaker 4: got rid of all of our junk food and they
- 35:14Speaker 4: got rid of the Oreos. It was the Oreos. And
- 35:17Speaker 4: I cried. I was probably like 10 years old or something, right?
- 35:21Speaker 4: I was like 10, 9.
- 35:22Speaker 7: And I cried.
- 35:23Speaker 4: I was like, about the Oreos, but you know what?
- 35:28Speaker 4: Looking back is not so bad.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Well, now, you know, now they have a really good
- 35:32Speaker 2: relationship and I think even better now that Sophia has
- 35:36Speaker 2: a boyfriend and Sophia's boyfriend Nico is a lot of
- 35:40Speaker 2: similarities to Eddie. He is from, uh, he's Mexican. His
- 35:45Speaker 2: family's from Guadalajara, just like Eddie. He doesn't have, um,
- 35:49Speaker 2: his biological father and his life. So there's a lot like, wow.
- 35:52Speaker 4: It kind of gives me like a new perspective on things.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:57Speaker 7: When it comes to editing.
- 35:58Speaker 4: Yeah, definitely.
- 35:59Speaker 7: Growing up just does though, guys.
- 36:01Speaker 5: And I tell people this every day. I'm like, I'm
- 36:03Speaker 5: so excited for your adventure. You're going to make mistakes.
- 36:06Speaker 7: You're going to flub up.
- 36:06Speaker 5: You're going to learn a lot, but this is like
- 36:08Speaker 5: one of the best times of your life and the
- 36:10Speaker 5: most fun times of your life.
- 36:11Speaker 7: And you're going to learn and you're growing up.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
- 36:15Speaker 2: Let's get into Orange County Housewives. We have a few
- 36:18Speaker 2: questions for that. Then we're going to play a rapid fire.
- 36:21Speaker 2: And then we're going to talk about a little bit.
- 36:23Speaker 2: I wanted to give you the floor, Alexis, because in
- 36:26Speaker 2: the last couple episodes, it was at my Vena party.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Sophia was there as well. But she didn't. I asked her,
- 36:32Speaker 2: did you see any of this going down? No, I
- 36:33Speaker 2: didn't see any of it. You know, you really gave
- 36:38Speaker 2: us the ratings that day. And we're going to get
- 36:40Speaker 2: into that. So I want to give you a little
- 36:42Speaker 2: bit of a platform to talk about it. But before that,
- 36:44Speaker 2: let's get into Orange County.
- 36:46Speaker 4: Yeah. McKenna, how is it having a housewife as a mom?
- 36:51Speaker 4: Has anything crazy happened? Anyone say anything to you at all?
- 36:55Speaker 3: It was more funny growing up because obviously the kids
- 36:59Speaker 3: didn't know about the show, but like people would like
- 37:02Speaker 3: come up to me and be like, my mom said
- 37:04Speaker 3: that she watches your mom on TV. And I was
- 37:06Speaker 3: in like sixth grade and I was like, yeah, that's
- 37:08Speaker 3: pretty cool.
- 37:09Speaker 1: And then like we'd go on field trips and we'd
- 37:13Speaker 1: go to Legoland and people would take pictures with her
- 37:15Speaker 1: when she was volunteering. And I was just like, it didn't,
- 37:18Speaker 1: I couldn't really grasp it. So I was just like, well,
- 37:21Speaker 1: I guess people like her.
- 37:22Speaker 5: And then I don't like her, but they do.
- 37:26Speaker 3: And even now it's, it's just like, it's just kind
- 37:29Speaker 3: of funny to me. It's just like people, like my
- 37:31Speaker 3: roommate walked in and she was like, what are you watching?
- 37:33Speaker 3: And I was like, Oh, I'm watching my mom.
- 37:36Speaker 1: She's like no way that's so cool so then she
- 37:38Speaker 1: sat down and watched it with me and like I
- 37:40Speaker 1: think it's I haven't been like too much in that
- 37:43Speaker 1: world online because I just don't really go on like
- 37:46Speaker 1: social media that much but yeah like I definitely do
- 37:50Speaker 1: see some miles my twin sends me some funny tiktoks
- 37:53Speaker 1: of like edits of my mom in the 2000s dude.
- 37:57Speaker 4: I totally get you it's like such a niche situation
- 38:00Speaker 4: to be in but it's like when I look at
- 38:02Speaker 4: my mom it's just like my mom And then I'll
- 38:04Speaker 4: like be scrolling on TikTok and some, I recently saw
- 38:06Speaker 4: an edit of my mom and my dad to a
- 38:09Speaker 4: Lana Del Rey song.
- 38:11Speaker 7: What?
- 38:12Speaker 4: Yes. And it was ultraviolence. If you know, you know.
- 38:15Speaker 4: But I was like, whoa. Like that really caught me
- 38:19Speaker 4: off guard. I was like, oh my God. I want
- 38:20Speaker 4: to see it.
- 38:21Speaker 7: We should have had that be.
- 38:22Speaker 5: A part of this.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Oh my God.
- 38:24Speaker 4: I'd have to find it. But I was like.
- 38:26Speaker 3: Pull up the receipts.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Wow.
- 38:34Speaker 2: So I wanted to know, McKenna, do you notice a
- 38:37Speaker 2: difference in your mom when she's on the show versus
- 38:41Speaker 2: not being on the show? Cause she had, she came
- 38:43Speaker 2: back for season 18. Do you notice like, is she
- 38:46Speaker 2: more stressed? Is it more attention in the house? Like
- 38:49Speaker 2: anything that you noticed?
- 38:51Speaker 4: Yes.
- 38:52Speaker 1: I think that it was so unhealthy to be honest,
- 38:55Speaker 1: like even watching it back.
- 38:57Speaker 3: But when she was.
- 38:59Speaker 1: On the show in season 18, she would just come
- 39:02Speaker 1: home and like, all her phone calls with Spencer and
- 39:04Speaker 1: whoever would be about housewives and who said what, and like,
- 39:07Speaker 1: what am I going to wear for the next event?
- 39:09Speaker 3: Blah, blah. Like it was very high stress for her.
- 39:12Speaker 1: And like, she did a good job of not putting
- 39:14Speaker 1: that onto us, but I could definitely see a difference
- 39:17Speaker 1: in just even her like happiness level from being on
- 39:20Speaker 1: the show versus not.
- 39:21Speaker 5: It's a full-time job. Yeah.
- 39:24Speaker 2: I mean, it definitely, our kids are affected by it
- 39:27Speaker 2: as much as we don't want to bring the kids
- 39:29Speaker 2: into it or it's just like you just end up
- 39:31Speaker 2: talking about it it's your.
- 39:33Speaker 3: Life 24 7 yeah yeah.
- 39:35Speaker 4: The thing with like reality tv and any entertainment job
- 39:39Speaker 4: is there's no clocking out of it. Like a normal job,
- 39:43Speaker 4: you know, you clock out of it as soon as
- 39:44Speaker 4: the clock hits whatever time, you know, five.
- 39:47Speaker 7: But not answer your phone. Just like, nope, you can
- 39:49Speaker 7: take that work call.
- 39:49Speaker 5: Tomorrow at nine.
- 39:51Speaker 4: Exactly. But when you're in entertainment, I think people don't
- 39:53Speaker 4: realize like it doesn't just stop once you're done filming.
- 39:56Speaker 4: Like it continues and continues and continues 24 seven. And
- 39:58Speaker 4: it could be a big toll on people.
- 40:01Speaker 5: I think Kenna probably doesn't know, understand this or know this,
- 40:03Speaker 5: but for me, the stress, the majority of the stress
- 40:07Speaker 5: really happened once I saw what was actually shown, like
- 40:12Speaker 5: the portrayal of, I think that is when my stress
- 40:15Speaker 5: level hit. I mean, I was crying a ton. And
- 40:18Speaker 5: I'd just been crying after my mom died. So they're
- 40:20Speaker 5: just kind of like, okay, now his mom ever stopped
- 40:23Speaker 5: being a basket case, you know, but.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Well, even before the episode aired, it's just like, you
- 40:27Speaker 1: don't know what the editors are going to put in,
- 40:29Speaker 1: what are they going to splice and like how they're
- 40:31Speaker 1: going to portray you.
- 40:32Speaker 3: And I think you were also worried about that.
- 40:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:35Speaker 2: Yeah. Would you ever return full time, Alexis?
- 40:41Speaker 7: Well, I have the answers. My team has told me
- 40:44Speaker 7: to say, and.
- 40:45Speaker 2: My answer is no.
- 40:48Speaker 7: I'm just going to plead the fifth on that.
- 40:50Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 40:51Speaker 2: Fair enough.
- 40:51Speaker 4: Fair enough.
- 40:52Speaker 2: Yeah. Let's get into season 20. You know, season 20
- 40:59Speaker 2: was about celebrating 20 years of Housewives. Orange County has
- 41:04Speaker 2: been on for 20 years. And I invited you to
- 41:09Speaker 2: my Vena party.
- 41:11Speaker 7: As you should have.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Yes.
- 41:13Speaker 2: So I just want to.
- 41:14Speaker 7: You hadn't invited me.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Right.
- 41:16Speaker 2: I want to start out by saying this. I went
- 41:19Speaker 2: to lunch with you prior to the party, and we
- 41:22Speaker 2: talked a little bit. And there was no, how do
- 41:27Speaker 2: you feel about this? We're not talking about Shannon. We're
- 41:31Speaker 2: not having engagement there at all because it's just too hard.
- 41:36Speaker 2: The last time you had seen the girls was at
- 41:39Speaker 2: the reunion, and it wasn't good. So I know that
- 41:42Speaker 2: you had a ton of anxiety going in. You told
- 41:45Speaker 2: me I'm only going for you. I don't really want
- 41:47Speaker 2: to be miked. I just want to go and have
- 41:50Speaker 2: a good time. Now, when you show up, there's a
- 41:52Speaker 2: press line. Production is holding you there, right? And Heather
- 42:00Speaker 2: says you gave her a look. I have said this
- 42:02Speaker 2: a million times. I never saw a look. But can
- 42:06Speaker 2: you just explain in your words, because people are going,
- 42:11Speaker 2: why did she react like that? What was going on?
- 42:14Speaker 2: Just like, explain what was going on in your head
- 42:16Speaker 2: and then what happened there.
- 42:19Speaker 5: Well, I'll preface it by, I definitely overreacted. I mean,
- 42:22Speaker 5: we can all see that we could all see. I was,
- 42:24Speaker 5: it was, it was like an instantaneous reaction and I'm
- 42:27Speaker 5: not super volatile or reactive to.
- 42:30Speaker 7: A lot of things.
- 42:30Speaker 5: I'm not, but this one, because of the fact that
- 42:34Speaker 5: I didn't really want to go, you had asked me
- 42:37Speaker 5: and I said back and I went back and forth
- 42:39Speaker 5: and you were just like, come do it for me.
- 42:41Speaker 5: I said, you know, I had to go to lunch
- 42:42Speaker 5: with you to get you to go.
- 42:43Speaker 7: Well, yeah, I bribed you a burrito. Yeah. So, so I,
- 42:50Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 42:50Speaker 5: I was just, and even in the car, I kept
- 42:53Speaker 5: telling John, my stomach is in knots. And I think
- 42:55Speaker 5: it was my gut saying, be prepared. And so then
- 42:58Speaker 5: when I didn't Mike, well, first of all, the thing
- 43:01Speaker 5: that happened, which is kind of like, I understand why
- 43:03Speaker 5: the audience is kind of like, why did she, why
- 43:06Speaker 5: did John wave?
- 43:06Speaker 7: Why is she doing that? And then why does she
- 43:08Speaker 7: like blow kisses?
- 43:09Speaker 5: So what happened is we're walking up to the press
- 43:11Speaker 5: line and I'm getting ready to walk through to the
- 43:12Speaker 5: next thing to come say hi to you guys.
- 43:13Speaker 7: I saw you and Heather. I'm coming over to walk.
- 43:15Speaker 5: And then behind the camera, they were like, no, no, no,
- 43:17Speaker 5: you're on holding. And they mouthed that to me.
- 43:20Speaker 7: And I go, oh, okay. So that's when you see
- 43:22Speaker 7: me kind of back up like that.
- 43:23Speaker 5: And then once I was regrouped and I'm like, okay,
- 43:25Speaker 5: so we're going to be here for a few minutes.
- 43:28Speaker 5: And you and Heather were finishing something up. And that's
- 43:31Speaker 5: when I was just like, okay, I was trying to
- 43:32Speaker 5: get your attention.
- 43:33Speaker 3: Hi.
- 43:33Speaker 5: And then we proceeded to the next one. And by
- 43:37Speaker 5: the time I get to the second holding spot is
- 43:39Speaker 5: when you came out and said, Heather thinks you gave
- 43:42Speaker 5: her a dirty look. And at that point, I was
- 43:45Speaker 5: already nervous. I already had a feeling that it was,
- 43:47Speaker 5: I didn't want to, everyone thinks I made this moment
- 43:50Speaker 5: about me. The whole point is I didn't even want
- 43:52Speaker 5: to mic up. I didn't want to be a moment
- 43:54Speaker 5: at all. So then when you come to me and say,
- 43:56Speaker 5: you know, Heather thinks you gave her a dirty look
- 43:59Speaker 5: in my mind.
- 44:00Speaker 7: I'm like, here we go.
- 44:01Speaker 5: I'm being used as a plot. I'm being used to,
- 44:03Speaker 5: you know, as something. And keep in mind what happened
- 44:06Speaker 5: to me season 18, Tamara. I'm still living in that.
- 44:10Speaker 5: So probably a little PTSD there. And also just the,
- 44:14Speaker 5: also my nerves just, I should have not just gone.
- 44:16Speaker 7: And I've taken that accountability. I've said that in several interviews.
- 44:19Speaker 5: I should have just stuck to my gut and known
- 44:21Speaker 5: I wasn't strong enough to be there and be confronted.
- 44:25Speaker 7: I did not want to be confronted.
- 44:26Speaker 5: I didn't want to be the center of anyone's drama.
- 44:29Speaker 5: And I definitely knew that Shannon was going to talk
- 44:31Speaker 5: under her breath about me.
- 44:32Speaker 7: So I was just like, I didn't want to even
- 44:34Speaker 7: have to deal with any of that.
- 44:36Speaker 1: You know?
- 44:36Speaker 2: Well, you did a good job. Like you didn't, Shannon
- 44:38Speaker 2: even came for you. You didn't say anything. You stayed
- 44:41Speaker 2: clear of that. Now, John walks past the table and
- 44:44Speaker 2: he goes gross like that. And I instantly, I thought,
- 44:47Speaker 2: are you talking about Shannon? And I know that we
- 44:48Speaker 2: went to dinner recently and he was so worried that
- 44:50Speaker 2: that was going to air because he thought, oh God,
- 44:52Speaker 2: people are going to think I was saying that about her.
- 44:54Speaker 2: I wasn't. By the way, guys, we had a full
- 44:56Speaker 2: spread of food in the kitchen and we had a
- 44:59Speaker 2: munchie table. and there was Cheetos on the munchie table
- 45:02Speaker 2: and somebody grabbed it. We were just eating it. It
- 45:03Speaker 2: was gross, but whatever.
- 45:05Speaker 5: I love Cheeto.
- 45:06Speaker 2: Do you have any regrets from that? Can you move
- 45:09Speaker 2: forward with Heather? Do you think you can move forward? I,
- 45:12Speaker 2: I regret overreacting for sure. I mean, anyone would, I
- 45:15Speaker 2: didn't want to cry. I don't, I don't want to
- 45:18Speaker 2: cry on camera. I mean, no, it's not ever a
- 45:20Speaker 2: good look, but, um, I, yeah, so I regret that.
- 45:24Speaker 7: I regret that.
- 45:24Speaker 5: I regret going, honestly. But I did want to be
- 45:27Speaker 5: there for you. But I mean, I would hope Heather
- 45:30Speaker 5: and I can, but I think it takes, I think
- 45:34Speaker 5: it takes accountability and saying you're sorry for the things
- 45:36Speaker 5: that we've both done.
- 45:38Speaker 2: So somebody from the past popped onto social media. It
- 45:42Speaker 2: was Peggy Tanis, who was on the show for one season,
- 45:44Speaker 2: I believe. She recently commented about you at the Vena
- 45:48Speaker 2: party and said that you were acting thirsty. She also
- 45:52Speaker 2: said that she was invited and I did not invite her.
- 45:58Speaker 2: And I was the one that invited everybody. Wait, so you.
- 46:01Speaker 5: Did invite her on... Where was this post at?
- 46:03Speaker 2: She said production invited her. Production had nothing to do
- 46:07Speaker 2: with this party. I had the guest list. I'm the
- 46:09Speaker 2: one that invited. There's a few people that had me
- 46:12Speaker 2: blocked on social media, so I wasn't able to invite them.
- 46:15Speaker 2: And that was Lydia. And then there's no way I
- 46:18Speaker 2: would have invited Gretchen.
- 46:19Speaker 5: There's no way.
- 46:20Speaker 7: I could have texted Lydia for you.
- 46:22Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 46:22Speaker 2: I was just like so overwhelmed just putting the party
- 46:24Speaker 2: together and then taking off for Japan. But so she
- 46:28Speaker 2: said you were thirsty. And I'm like, coming from the
- 46:31Speaker 2: girl that just lied that said that I invited her
- 46:32Speaker 2: to the party?
- 46:33Speaker 4: No.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Not that I'm aware of.
- 46:37Speaker 7: My comment's just, who is this? Who are we talking about?
- 46:39Speaker 2: I know.
- 46:40Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 46:41Speaker 2: Well, let's get into a rapid fire game.
- 46:45Speaker 3: Ooh. Aha.
- 46:45Speaker 6: Oh, no.
- 46:46Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 46:48Speaker 5: Yep.
- 46:48Speaker 2: McKenna is answering about her mom.
- 46:51Speaker 7: I don't get to answer?
- 46:52Speaker 1: Okay.
- 46:52Speaker 5: Wait, I'm ready.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Nope.
- 46:54Speaker 7: Okay.
- 46:55Speaker 2: So I'll read the first one. And this is McKenna
- 46:57Speaker 2: for you. My mom's favorite phrase is?
- 46:59Speaker 3: When you pop a baby out, then you'll know. It
- 47:08Speaker 3: always says that.
- 47:10Speaker 5: That's always when I'm mad at them or that they
- 47:12Speaker 5: don't understand.
- 47:13Speaker 3: When you're a mom, when you.
- 47:15Speaker 2: Pop a kid out, you'll get it.
- 47:17Speaker 5: Okay.
- 47:17Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 47:18Speaker 4: Fair enough. All right, McKenna. The most embarrassing thing my
- 47:22Speaker 4: mom does is.
- 47:23Speaker 3: Oh, I don't know. She's just a loud person. Maybe
- 47:29Speaker 3: just being loud.
- 47:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:31Speaker 3: But also I kind of got that from her.
- 47:32Speaker 4: So.
- 47:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:34Speaker 2: Well, the next one is my mom is obsessed with what?
- 47:39Speaker 1: Lettuce.
- 47:41Speaker 2: Lettuce?
- 47:42Speaker 5: I love salad.
- 47:44Speaker 3: Literally, I love salad.
- 47:45Speaker 7: I'll take a salad over anything every day.
- 47:47Speaker 5: If I have to pick one thing, I'm not going
- 47:49Speaker 5: to eat pizza, although I want that once a month,
- 47:51Speaker 5: but I'm going to eat a salad.
- 47:51Speaker 7: I want a salad.
- 47:53Speaker 4: Loki valid, honestly. I'm a rabbit.
- 47:56Speaker 7: My mom always called me a rabbit.
- 47:57Speaker 1: I'm a rabbit.
- 47:58Speaker 3: You guys would get along.
- 47:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 48:01Speaker 7: I'll take you out for our next salad.
- 48:03Speaker 4: How's that? Hell yeah, I'm so down. The next one is,
- 48:06Speaker 4: my mom's biggest pet peeve is.
- 48:10Speaker 7: You should know.
- 48:11Speaker 3: I need to think about this. Wait, I actually don't know.
- 48:14Speaker 2: I have two.
- 48:15Speaker 5: And yes, when I say them, you're going to fall
- 48:17Speaker 5: off your chair.
- 48:18Speaker 7: Wasting food. Wasting food.
- 48:21Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 48:22Speaker 7: And road rage.
- 48:24Speaker 1: Really road rage is on there I don't know oh
- 48:26Speaker 1: road rage is my I don't really jive with you
- 48:28Speaker 1: that much though.
- 48:29Speaker 5: I don't like road rage I don't like people that
- 48:31Speaker 5: get all mad and flip you off I'm just like.
- 48:32Speaker 3: Hi sorry definitely wasting food though she'll.
- 48:35Speaker 1: Have like a million containers of food in the freezer
- 48:37Speaker 1: that we have we don't know what they are they're
- 48:39Speaker 1: just mystery containers by.
- 48:41Speaker 2: The way they probably never get eaten right you just
- 48:43Speaker 2: don't ever get.
- 48:44Speaker 5: Eaten There are starving people and I hate wasting food.
- 48:50Speaker 2: So I will take- So you're just going to take
- 48:51Speaker 2: up room in your freezer?
- 48:52Speaker 4: So it's going to take up a little bit of
- 48:53Speaker 4: room and then get thrown away.
- 48:55Speaker 3: Dude, if you reach back into the freezer, then it
- 48:57Speaker 3: makes her feel better.
- 48:58Speaker 5: No, because sometimes when I'm starving and I have like
- 49:00Speaker 5: two minutes before my next meeting, I'll throw it in
- 49:02Speaker 5: the microwave and then I'll send some with James or
- 49:04Speaker 5: I'll be like, James, there's a steak in there.
- 49:05Speaker 7: You can just, and that third Tupperware, just warm that up.
- 49:08Speaker 4: I do.
- 49:09Speaker 7: Some of them do get eaten. It works out.
- 49:11Speaker 2: My mom's biggest red flag is?
- 49:15Speaker 3: Oh, it's red flag.
- 49:19Speaker 7: I don't even know the answer to that.
- 49:21Speaker 1: Wait, I feel like it's good that I can't really
- 49:22Speaker 1: answer this.
- 49:27Speaker 5: No, what is my biggest red flag about people where
- 49:29Speaker 5: I'm like, Ooh, I don't like that about them.
- 49:31Speaker 3: Oh, about someone else. Probably just like aggression or like violence.
- 49:36Speaker 4: That's a good one.
- 49:37Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. All right.
- 49:39Speaker 4: My mom's guilty pleasure is.
- 49:46Speaker 3: Probably pizza. Pizza once a month.
- 49:49Speaker 4: Only once a month though.
- 49:50Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 49:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:52Speaker 5: No, now it's like three, twice a week because John's
- 49:55Speaker 5: onto this new pizza. He can take it. What do
- 49:59Speaker 5: you think?
- 50:00Speaker 7: We're going there tonight to get pizza again. Cause he's
- 50:02Speaker 7: on this pizza. Every has to have it.
- 50:04Speaker 2: We went to truly pizza a couple of weeks ago.
- 50:07Speaker 4: It was so good.
- 50:08Speaker 5: Was it a week ago?
- 50:10Speaker 4: I can't remember.
- 50:11Speaker 2: My mom, the one thing my mom spends way too
- 50:15Speaker 2: much money on is.
- 50:20Speaker 1: Just like getting her makeup done. She gets her makeup
- 50:23Speaker 1: done so much. Jen is just, she's living her life.
- 50:30Speaker 7: She didn't do it today.
- 50:31Speaker 1: I did.
- 50:32Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 50:33Speaker 4: All right. This next question, there is a right answer.
- 50:37Speaker 4: My mom's favorite housewife of all time is Tamara, hopefully.
- 50:42Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 50:45Speaker 2: My mom's biggest fear is?
- 50:49Speaker 3: I think losing one of us, probably. Yeah.
- 50:53Speaker 4: Very mom fear.
- 50:54Speaker 1: All right.
- 50:55Speaker 4: We got one more, guys. My mom deserves an award for?
- 51:00Speaker 3: For being a mom.
- 51:03Speaker 5: For being your mom.
- 51:04Speaker 3: She's the best mom. She makes being a mom her
- 51:06Speaker 3: whole life.
- 51:07Speaker 2: Well, I will say to a lot of people out there,
- 51:11Speaker 2: anybody that's listening, Alexis, you have the biggest heart of
- 51:16Speaker 2: anybody I know. And a lot of people want to
- 51:19Speaker 2: judge you off of social media. And I don't know
- 51:22Speaker 2: if you saw this, but on this week's episode, I
- 51:25Speaker 2: say Alexis is the kindest person I know. if Shannon
- 51:29Speaker 2: needed her, called her and needed her right now, Alexis
- 51:32Speaker 2: would be there. So that might be a stretch, but okay.
- 51:36Speaker 2: Other than that, I'm going to say anybody that would
- 51:38Speaker 2: call you. Yeah. Take the call. Anybody that would call
- 51:42Speaker 2: you and say they needed help. I would, you would
- 51:45Speaker 2: be there.
- 51:46Speaker 1: I would.
- 51:46Speaker 3: She's very selfless for sure.
- 51:48Speaker 2: She is. And I think she's a very, you're a
- 51:50Speaker 2: very godly person as well. So you're always going to do,
- 51:54Speaker 2: you know, those nice sweet over the top things that
- 51:56Speaker 2: most people would be like, screw that. I ain't doing that.
- 52:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 52:01Speaker 2: Well, yeah. But you guys, thank you so much for
- 52:05Speaker 2: being this month's mom and daughter duo. It was so
- 52:08Speaker 2: great to see you, McKenna, to hear what you're up to.
- 52:13Speaker 2: And we only wish big, giant, amazing things for your future.
- 52:17Speaker 4: Yes, go back to school and congrats.
- 52:19Speaker 7: And I get to see you in a couple of days.
- 52:24Speaker 4: Thank you, guys.
- 52:25Speaker 2: You're so welcome. And thank you for taking the time.

- 52:44Speaker 2: Well, that was amazing. That was great.
- 52:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 52:46Speaker 2: You did a good job, Sophia.
- 52:48Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 52:49Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 52:49Speaker 4: I'm learning.
- 52:52Speaker 2: So I have a couple more call. Well, I contacted
- 52:56Speaker 2: a couple housewives and daughter duos that are willing to
