- 0:00Speaker 1: Things that must go on the radio.
- 0:08Speaker 2: These are things that are bugging you, and you tell
- 0:11Speaker 2: us about it with an email radio from Helen x
- 0:13Speaker 2: ninety six dot com. Put muscle on the subject line,
- 0:17Speaker 2: if we read yours on the air, we have been
- 0:19Speaker 2: told that this works. It's magically delicious. We will read
- 0:24Speaker 2: your thing that must go, and oftentimes it goes.
- 0:27Speaker 3: It will be vaporized from existence because it's the power
- 0:31Speaker 3: that this show had. Now, I'm not a full member
- 0:33Speaker 3: of the rate of I'm just like the substitute guy.
- 0:35Speaker 3: So I don't know if with me here we can
- 0:38Speaker 3: actually rid the world of these things.
- 0:40Speaker 2: That must go.
- 0:41Speaker 1: But not with that attitude.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Carrie, do you want to go first?
- 0:45Speaker 1: I can't. I can't. Let's see, I'll start with the
- 0:49Speaker 1: one from the foot of Mount Doom. As we all know,
- 0:51Speaker 1: the struggle is real, and you having to stir the
- 0:55Speaker 1: oil back into the natural peanut butter.
- 0:57Speaker 2: That's the struggle is real.
- 1:00Speaker 1: It's real, real pain.
- 1:02Speaker 2: You know, if you buy the bad stuff, you don't
- 1:04Speaker 2: ever have to do that.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Uh huh, we just want ingredients peanuts. Let's see, let's
- 1:11Speaker 1: go to Uh this is uh. I can't see. If
- 1:14Speaker 1: she says I can say her name, so I will
- 1:17Speaker 1: not hail the Lord's the morning radio. When you wake
- 1:20Speaker 1: up in the middle of the night and your mind
- 1:22Speaker 1: starts going crazy and you struggle to get back to sleep,
- 1:25Speaker 1: by the time you do get back to sleep, it's
- 1:26Speaker 1: almost time to wake up again. It's true that must
- 1:29Speaker 1: go cravings. I started a healthy eating program, and I'm
- 1:33Speaker 1: still craving sugary and salty foods I used to eat.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I need to go away tripping in flip flops. Every
- 1:41Speaker 1: now and then, when I'm wearing my flip flops, the
- 1:43Speaker 1: front end gets caught because I don't lift my foot completely,
- 1:47Speaker 1: and then I look like an idiot stumbling in the store.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Don't shuffle, pick up your feet, pick up your feet.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Switch to crocs. You have a more snug of a fit.
- 1:57Speaker 1: This one from sam Cosmetic and dental surgery billboards that
- 2:02Speaker 1: show before and after shots of patients.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Please, for the love of.
- 2:06Speaker 1: God, no one, and I mean no one wants to
- 2:09Speaker 1: see the before picks. Let's see the Tesla driver that
- 2:15Speaker 1: pulled into a very busy gas station and proceeded to
- 2:18Speaker 1: park in the middle between two sets of pumps. What
- 2:22Speaker 1: the driver got out and went inside the shop there
- 2:26Speaker 1: was a parking lot directly of head of her that
- 2:28Speaker 1: was opened, but she chose to park and block four pumps.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Her ignorance and complete lack of awareness must go. And
- 2:35Speaker 1: let's see this one. Stacked paper towels in public bathrooms,
- 2:38Speaker 1: more specifically, in restaurants that don't have paper towel dispensers,
- 2:43Speaker 1: they just stack a bunch of paper towels loosely on
- 2:45Speaker 1: the countertop. They inevitably end up strewn about the countertop
- 2:49Speaker 1: and in the sink, creating a soggy, nasty mess. I
- 2:54Speaker 1: think that it can be fixed with a small basket.
- 2:56Speaker 2: But there you go.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Let's see. And then this one. Finally, store stores that
- 3:03Speaker 1: have the entrance on the left exit on the right.
- 3:07Speaker 2: That's wrong. Yeah, I never thought about it. Yeah, that
- 3:10Speaker 2: there's confuses every Yeah, I agree.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I didn't realize it was a thing.
- 3:18Speaker 2: I'll go next. My thing that must go. When you
- 3:22Speaker 2: do like like flownaise and spray it in your nose
- 3:26Speaker 2: and then you immediately sneeze and you're like it's all gone,
- 3:31Speaker 2: But but you also don't want to spray it again
- 3:33Speaker 2: because you don't want to overdo it. If any of
- 3:35Speaker 2: it's still in there, so then you just go the
- 3:37Speaker 2: rest of the day not being flown aised properly, because
- 3:40Speaker 2: every doctor I've ever encountered be careful.
- 3:47Speaker 3: You'll end up on the streets.
- 3:48Speaker 1: It's so dangerous.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Why are they just selling it over the counter.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Then, let's see this from Star Things that must go.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Salt on all baked goods. Just stop. It's not fancy,
- 3:59Speaker 2: it's just salt over it. You can keep caramel.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Just stop ruining.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Chocolate chip cookies.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I disagree.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I love little flicky salt on a chocolate chip cookie.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Please don't use my name. Here's what must go. People
- 4:13Speaker 2: camping in our national forests and not respecting fire restrictions,
- 4:17Speaker 2: lighting campfires, leaving their campsites with the fire still burning.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Even worse, target shooting, which poses a fire hazard, not
- 4:23Speaker 2: picking up shells when they're done, and leaving a mess behind.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Please make this go. Let's see this from Hunter. Things
- 4:32Speaker 2: that must go. Glancing at my watch while I'm on
- 4:34Speaker 2: the phone. It's unnecessary because the time is on my phone.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Why do I do that? Second, whenever I come across
- 4:42Speaker 2: something that says prove you're not a robot, and I
- 4:44Speaker 2: hear carries pronunciation in my head.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Of rob robot if you're not a robot.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Third, not moving forward in a drive through line when
- 4:52Speaker 2: there are cars behind you to make things worse. The
- 4:54Speaker 2: car I was behind let two cars in the other
- 4:56Speaker 2: lane to go ahead of them. Drive throughs are not
- 4:58Speaker 2: rust stops. Thank you for letting me listen. And then finally,
- 5:02Speaker 2: this the company who makes that fabulous spray butter making
- 5:06Speaker 2: a new garlic flavored spray and an identical container with
- 5:10Speaker 2: barely noticeable words with garlic on the bottle made me
- 5:14Speaker 2: rolling my first two muffins with eggs, and I realized
- 5:16Speaker 2: I wasn't having a stroke.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Yeah, you want to make that different bottle for that
- 5:22Speaker 1: different bottle, although I do want to try that now,
- 5:25Speaker 1: sound good, Todd?
- 5:26Speaker 3: All right? So my thing that must go is, may
- 5:28Speaker 3: you guys have probably noticed this because it's been going
- 5:30Speaker 3: on for a week and no one's really said anything.
- 5:31Speaker 3: But I know what's happening is right here under my eye.
- 5:34Speaker 3: There's just been this constant twitch that won't stop, and
- 5:37Speaker 3: it's like, I'm that's people. Yeah, people probably think I'm,
- 5:40Speaker 3: you know, just having major like stress issues. Well aren't
- 5:43Speaker 3: you wine, Well, you know, given my line of work, yes, I'll.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Say when when people ask me, are am I okay?
- 5:50Speaker 1: I say no, I'm in radium.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:52Speaker 3: So maybe that's it. Maybe I'm just stressed out. But anyway,
- 5:54Speaker 3: I'll ask doctor Cobble about that. Maybe I need to
- 5:56Speaker 3: lay off the caffeine. I don't know.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Uh.
- 5:58Speaker 3: My first thing was from one of the listeners. Randy says,
- 6:02Speaker 3: the first, thanks for being the best morning show, and
- 6:04Speaker 3: thank you for the tickets to Bad Religion and Dropkick Murphy's.
- 6:06Speaker 3: I had an absolute blast what must go solicitation phone calls? Yes,
- 6:11Speaker 3: we hate them. My own auto insurance company called me
- 6:14Speaker 3: to reduce my current rates by switching to them. Oh,
- 6:17Speaker 3: and I let them know that I'm currently with that company.
- 6:20Speaker 3: She said, have a nice day and hung up. Wait,
- 6:22Speaker 3: I want lower rates. Apparently they don't try to sell
- 6:25Speaker 3: you a lower price when you're already paying them. Just
- 6:30Speaker 3: another insurance complaint. Thanks for letting me listen. This one
- 6:33Speaker 3: from Dawson unattended screaming children running around restaurants must go.
- 6:36Speaker 3: It ruins my food and the atmosphere. Parents, please parent
- 6:40Speaker 3: your children because if they smack their head on a
- 6:43Speaker 3: table well running, I will laugh. His second thing, you
- 6:46Speaker 3: must go krusty boogers that my friends won't inform me
- 6:49Speaker 3: of must go. Either my friends need to tell me
- 6:52Speaker 3: my nose looks like a gold mine, or those boogers
- 6:55Speaker 3: must go. Dawson, Buddy, trim your nose hair, trust me.
- 7:00Speaker 3: And then people have a certain type of type of
- 7:01Speaker 3: pet and they won't take care of them regarding their
- 7:04Speaker 3: certain conditions, like not walking your big dog or not
- 7:07Speaker 3: cleaning your turtle or hamster cage regularly. Someone please think
- 7:12Speaker 3: of the turtles and hamsters, all right. And then finally
- 7:15Speaker 3: Sue says, good morning. You can use my name things
- 7:18Speaker 3: that must go. She's got two items here. My air
- 7:20Speaker 3: fryer that makes loud beeping sounds with every button I press.
- 7:25Speaker 3: It's like my friar is telling on me when I
- 7:27Speaker 3: make midnight flouders or second thing they must go craving
- 7:31Speaker 3: costcos flouders at midnight.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Oh, I think midnight flouting that must go on the
- 7:39Speaker 2: radio
- 7:41Speaker 1: Show
