#37: “With every piece of advice, consider the opposite to be equally true” by Rick Rubin
Truth is not singular.
Truth is not permanent.
Truth is human perception, culture, and language.
Sometimes truth is s whatever works.
Sometimes truth is a construct, a social construct.
“Each society has its regime of truth, its ‘general politics’ of truth.”
In this episode Rick Rubin, and our hosts Nidhi Garg and Magnus Zaar, talk about truth - and about the concept of pratipaksha; to consciously consider or cultivate an opposite perspective.
Which actually may be helpful... or as Wayne Dyer put it:
“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”
