- 0:23Speaker 3: I mowed the lawn and I decided I'm done with that.
- 0:25Speaker 3: What time did you start mowing? Like nine am?
- 0:27Speaker 1: Because I was being nice to the neighbors. I'm not
- 0:29Speaker 1: being nice anymore. I'm hiring somebody. I don't care when
- 0:32Speaker 1: they do it. It's getting hot, still too hot, still
- 0:36Speaker 1: too hot. At night, I mowed the lawn and then
- 0:38Speaker 1: I'm like, you know what, I'm gonna weed eat tomorrow
- 0:40Speaker 1: and I've yet to eat eat, so I'll probably do
- 0:42Speaker 1: that when I get home or October.
- 0:43Speaker 4: Yeah, push all the adult tasks to the end of
- 0:46Speaker 4: the year.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Yeah, there you go. How about you, Meg? How was
- 0:48Speaker 3: your weekend?
- 0:49Speaker 4: It was good.
- 0:50Speaker 5: We were at Aquatica hanging out with our friends there
- 0:52Speaker 5: for their Acua glowing, which was really cool.
- 0:55Speaker 4: It was hot, but we were in the water.
- 0:58Speaker 5: Got myself some little tails and kind of made a
- 1:02Speaker 5: thing out of it.
- 1:02Speaker 4: So that was fun.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Nice. And you brought back a bunch of tickets for
- 1:05Speaker 3: our friends so we can give.
- 1:06Speaker 5: Them away, right, Yeah, and this is this is so cool.
- 1:08Speaker 5: The whole family will love it.
- 1:10Speaker 3: That's great.
- 1:10Speaker 2: We'll have those probably, I guess between eight thirty and nine.
- 1:13Speaker 2: We'll try to do it. That's awesome. We'll making plain.
- 1:16Speaker 2: We're making it up as we go along this way.
- 1:18Speaker 2: It's hot, but that's a perfect place to go this summer. Yeah,
- 1:20Speaker 2: it is, it is. I got my my wife and
- 1:22Speaker 2: I we went and got our slurpees on seven eleven day.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Oh right, I got our free slip bit darn it
- 1:27Speaker 2: free slurpy little little suicide. Yeah, cherry everything. I had
- 1:31Speaker 2: to go put some in there.
- 1:32Speaker 4: Both of you. Both of you got the suicides.
- 1:35Speaker 6: Uh.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Jill got the coke and cherry.
- 1:38Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I got cherry blue raspberry and little coke.
- 1:41Speaker 5: Yeah okay, So yours was like the hodgepodge of what
- 1:44Speaker 5: the heck is this?
- 1:45Speaker 2: It was the hodge of the page. I was thinking,
- 1:47Speaker 2: the first slurpee I've had in years. Yeah, they're great
- 1:50Speaker 2: and they tasted great. Slurpey since last seven eleven day exactly.
- 1:55Speaker 2: We hope you had a great weekend. Get together and
- 1:57Speaker 2: compare some notes. You know, we're always here for you.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Our number is nine oh four three eight eight thirty
- 2:02Speaker 2: six ninety nine. Let's get three things from Megan. See
- 2:04Speaker 2: what's going on in the world.
- 2:06Speaker 5: Well, Florida's month long back to school sales tax holiday
- 2:11Speaker 5: is coming up right around the corner, July twentieth, Yeah,
- 2:14Speaker 5: next Monday. It's running to August twentieth. This is my
- 2:17Speaker 5: first school season starting as a new jacks Jacksonvilleian. What
- 2:24Speaker 5: it's called Jacksonvillian that will take it whatever it is
- 2:27Speaker 5: people of Jacksonville.
- 2:29Speaker 7: You know.
- 2:29Speaker 5: So this is really neat the whole month. You get
- 2:34Speaker 5: a break basically to get schools wise.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's up to a certain good amount like computers,
- 2:38Speaker 2: up to fifteen hundred or whatever. The number is very
- 2:41Speaker 2: very nice about giving sales tax holidays. The governor has
- 2:44Speaker 2: done that a few times in a few different places.
- 2:47Speaker 2: And just to say if you're going to buy something
- 2:49Speaker 2: this week or you're on some back to school going,
- 2:51Speaker 2: just wait till next week.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Save some big money. There you go.
- 2:53Speaker 5: I love that SpaceX has this rocket called Falcon nine
- 2:57Speaker 5: that is sending a bunch of starlinks up lights into
- 3:01Speaker 5: our Earth's like rotation kind of thing, and they're sitting
- 3:05Speaker 5: them off from Cape Canaveral. This is really cool because
- 3:08Speaker 5: when you look up into the sky, you'll be able
- 3:11Speaker 5: to see what looks like jellyfish in the sky.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Cool.
- 3:15Speaker 4: So it's kind of cool. It's like Florida.
- 3:16Speaker 5: It's like beachy type of looking thing. But it's gonna
- 3:20Speaker 5: look weird these images that they put out. It's gonna
- 3:23Speaker 5: look very odd but pretty at the same time.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Pomp go ahead, no, no, no, you go.
- 3:27Speaker 1: You ever have you seen these starlink satellites as they
- 3:30Speaker 1: come over at night, all in a line. The first
- 3:33Speaker 1: time I saw that, I did think it was Aliens.
- 3:35Speaker 3: I was really excited.
- 3:36Speaker 4: I haven't seen that.
- 3:37Speaker 1: It is so wild to see they fly in a
- 3:39Speaker 1: line and you can see them sometimes at night coming over.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:42Speaker 5: Whoa, oh, I can't wait. I'm gonna be staying out
- 3:45Speaker 5: really late tonight to see this. Let's talk about the
- 3:47Speaker 5: Palm Beach Airport. It's got a new name, Donald J.
- 3:50Speaker 5: Trump Airport, Trump Force one, which just the name of
- 3:53Speaker 5: that always crass me, Trump Force one was the first
- 3:56Speaker 5: plane to land there with its new names. So our
- 4:00Speaker 5: state is getting a lot of attention all over the
- 4:02Speaker 5: news today. That's three things you need to know.
- 4:06Speaker 2: With Country ninety nine one WQIK. It's the Big Show
- 4:10Speaker 2: with Chum Lee, John Meghan and Froggy. We go to
- 4:12Speaker 2: the Panhandle. This nineteen year.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Old girl, Oh that's my neck of the woods. They're
- 4:17Speaker 1: crazy over there.
- 4:18Speaker 2: She robbed a local bank. She actually managed to get
- 4:21Speaker 2: away with it. So why are we talking about her? Well,
- 4:23Speaker 2: here's the answer. She decided it was such a good
- 4:26Speaker 2: idea and she was so brilliant at her bank robbery.
- 4:28Speaker 2: She posted a video online where she admitted to stealing
- 4:32Speaker 2: a car and driving it in order to commit this robbery.
- 4:35Speaker 2: And she explained in her video how great she was
- 4:37Speaker 2: at getting away with six thousand dollars in cash, held
- 4:40Speaker 2: up the keys to the car.
- 4:41Speaker 4: She's such an idiot.
- 4:43Speaker 2: It gets even better because the police chief goes on
- 4:46Speaker 2: and says, this, you just rob a.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Bank and steal a car and put it on her YouTube.
- 4:50Speaker 3: It doesn't make a lot of sense, but it helped
- 4:52Speaker 3: our case, that's for sure.
- 4:54Speaker 1: I just want to know how many followers she picked
- 4:56Speaker 1: out yeahq I K.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Megan's guided here with Country ninety nine one WQIK.
- 5:10Speaker 4: Yeah, justin Moore.
- 5:12Speaker 5: I had no idea he had a drinking problem, but
- 5:15Speaker 5: I guess he's been really struggling with this. He went
- 5:18Speaker 5: to rehab for thirty days, just got out, so he's
- 5:21Speaker 5: celebrating his thirty first day in sobriety, which is amazing.
- 5:26Speaker 5: But he said he let everyone down, disappointed, his friend's family,
- 5:30Speaker 5: the whole nine.
- 5:30Speaker 4: It's really sad to see that happen, but you.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Know, it does happen. But the great thing is he
- 5:35Speaker 3: got help, you know.
- 5:36Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely.
- 5:37Speaker 5: When you got to spend that long in rehab though,
- 5:39Speaker 5: and you come out, you got to have a good
- 5:41Speaker 5: support system.
- 5:42Speaker 4: So I hope that he's ready to go with that
- 5:44Speaker 4: and his family's got his back. Bunny XO.
- 5:47Speaker 5: Jelly rolls technically wife, they're separating their divorcing.
- 5:52Speaker 4: I don't think they're divorced yet.
- 5:54Speaker 5: But she was seeing Mackett on some random guy at
- 5:58Speaker 5: the bars in Nashville. Jelly rolls, bar, Well, ma'am, yeah,
- 6:02Speaker 5: but this is what's so weird. I think this might
- 6:04Speaker 5: be one of her weird publicity stunts. This is like
- 6:06Speaker 5: a twenty four year old guy, some kind of reality
- 6:09Speaker 5: TV star, and it doesn't really look like something that
- 6:12Speaker 5: she's trying to insinuate.
- 6:15Speaker 4: That there's a relationship.
- 6:16Speaker 5: It kind of just looks like they're trying to do
- 6:19Speaker 5: what Bunny and Jelly are really good at, and his
- 6:21Speaker 5: create a lot of controversy in.
- 6:22Speaker 3: His bar, so that kind of makes it. You know,
- 6:24Speaker 3: why would you do that too? Raises me?
- 6:27Speaker 5: And I think level two in Jelly's bar is Bunny's
- 6:30Speaker 5: bar technically, so they could have been in her bar.
- 6:34Speaker 5: Very very complicated family dynamic.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Okay, they are a reality show. I'm Megan.
- 6:39Speaker 4: That's your music City minute.
- 6:42Speaker 3: One wq IK, Good morning, it's the big show.
- 6:45Speaker 6: You know.
- 6:45Speaker 1: I'm on my lawn on Saturday, and I decided, yeah,
- 6:48Speaker 1: I'm done going lawns. It was too hot, right, And
- 6:50Speaker 1: then I read this yesterday at Jacksaw man struck by
- 6:53Speaker 1: lightning while working in his yard. Yard work can kill See,
- 6:57Speaker 1: that's why you should hire a professional. This guy his
- 7:01Speaker 1: family members described the afternoon as sunny and clear immediately.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Before he was struck by lightning.
- 7:06Speaker 1: It just goes to show you it's kind of scary
- 7:08Speaker 1: when storms are off in the distance. It could be
- 7:10Speaker 1: closer than they actually appeared, kind of like the mirrors
- 7:13Speaker 1: in your car.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Remember kids in Orange Park. It was a regular day
- 7:17Speaker 2: and the lightning just came down on the ballpark hit
- 7:19Speaker 2: a kid.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Yeah, good news. This guy survived. He's gonna be okay.
- 7:23Speaker 1: He's taken to the hospital, but he's.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Going to be just fine, which is good. That is
- 7:27Speaker 3: good news. Have you ever met anybody that was struck
- 7:30Speaker 3: by lightning?
- 7:31Speaker 1: I have.
- 7:31Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Yeah, My buddy Rusty was playing golf and evidently lightning
- 7:35Speaker 2: and they saw it look like bad weather, so they
- 7:38Speaker 2: got underneath the shelter while they were playing. So they
- 7:40Speaker 2: got under the shelter, did the right thing, and then
- 7:43Speaker 2: the lightning hit twenty feet away I'm not sure, and
- 7:46Speaker 2: then it traveled right to him and he knocked him backwards.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Big strap and six to two guy and knocked him backwards.
- 7:54Speaker 2: He was okay then, but then at midnight that night
- 7:57Speaker 2: he had some heart issues or whatever, so they went
- 7:59Speaker 2: to the er scared crap out of him. But he's okay.
- 8:02Speaker 2: He's alive today. He's a weird, little off, no more
- 8:05Speaker 2: than he was before.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I was thinking about this golferst they get struck by
- 8:10Speaker 1: lightning more than anybody.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Yeah, to come out with my own line of golf clubs.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna call him Lightning Rods. Oh, brilliant brand, right, sure.
- 8:17Speaker 3: That is genius. Somebody gonna buy it.
- 8:20Speaker 5: Give it to your enemies so they get zappis the
- 8:24Speaker 5: best best golf clubs ever.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Have you ever been struck by lightning? I'd love to
- 8:29Speaker 1: talk to somebody see what that's like. You know first
- 8:32Speaker 1: hand accounts. So if anybody's listening, you've ever been struck
- 8:35Speaker 1: by lightning, or maybe you know somebody has, or a
- 8:37Speaker 1: very close call three eight eight thirty six ninety nine,
- 8:40Speaker 1: please tell us all about it.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I had that close call on Saturday, just looking at
- 8:44Speaker 2: my window because it was one of those where you
- 8:46Speaker 2: see lightning hit and you're like, I actually saw lightning
- 8:49Speaker 2: hit down to the ground and it was like in
- 8:51Speaker 2: the front yard. I'm like, man, because we had a
- 8:53Speaker 2: storm come through on Saturday. It was crazy with hail
- 8:55Speaker 2: and everything.
- 8:56Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I was on a boat one time out in the
- 8:58Speaker 1: Atlantic Ocean heading in through a storm and lightning was
- 9:01Speaker 1: hitting the water and I always thought a lotter.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Someb Dirks Bentley tickets with Country ninety nine one WQYK
- 9:06Speaker 2: with the Big.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Show, and we're talking about this Jacksonville man yesterday struck
- 9:10Speaker 1: by lightning just working in his yard. As family members
- 9:13Speaker 1: described the afternoon as sunny and clear immediately before this
- 9:16Speaker 1: guy was struck by lightning. Good news, he's going to
- 9:18Speaker 1: be fine. But we've got Brenda on the phone with
- 9:21Speaker 1: a lightning strike story.
- 9:23Speaker 7: We had a really bad storm and lightning.
- 9:26Speaker 8: Kept hitting our house.
- 9:27Speaker 7: And the guy across the street was a.
- 9:29Speaker 8: Paramedic at the time, and my.
- 9:32Speaker 7: Dad was yelling at everybody to run to the car
- 9:35Speaker 7: like he wanted to get us out of the house.
- 9:37Speaker 8: Because it hit so many times.
- 9:40Speaker 7: And this paramedic watched everybody got in the car, my
- 9:44Speaker 7: dad was headed out, watched lightning hit the gate. As
- 9:47Speaker 7: my dad grabbed the gate, he screened that his family,
- 9:52Speaker 7: you know, go in your room, just going there because
- 9:54Speaker 7: he knew what he was fixing to sea. He calls
- 9:56Speaker 7: nine to one one immediately because he saw it strike
- 10:00Speaker 7: my dad right well, being the Christians that we are,
- 10:03Speaker 7: God had my dad taken care of. My dad got
- 10:06Speaker 7: right in the car, we went to my uncle's house
- 10:08Speaker 7: and our house caught on fire. So that's kind of
- 10:10Speaker 7: our lightning story. Wow, my dad actually got struck, and
- 10:14Speaker 7: I guess God protected him. I don't know, because that's
- 10:17Speaker 7: the only.
- 10:19Speaker 8: Thing we can say. Because the guy saw with the.
- 10:22Speaker 7: Lightning hit the fence as my dad grabbed a fence.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Was there any other repercussions your dad had for the
- 10:28Speaker 3: rest of his life after that?
- 10:30Speaker 7: He actually two weeks later had open heart surgery for
- 10:34Speaker 7: what we thought was like bizarre because he was a
- 10:37Speaker 7: professional weightlifter, not a bodybuilder, but a weightlifter. Perfect help,
- 10:42Speaker 7: absolutely perfect help. But my mom always said she felt
- 10:46Speaker 7: like it was because of that lightning strikes that possible.
- 10:49Speaker 2: I know my friend had some heart issues leader that
- 10:52Speaker 2: night after just being barely struck.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Yeah, they say that can happen.
- 10:55Speaker 1: What's crazy about your story is lightning never strikes the
- 10:58Speaker 1: same place twice. That's a lie people that have been
- 11:00Speaker 1: struck twice. But obviously your house being hit multiple times,
- 11:04Speaker 1: what a crazy storm.
- 11:06Speaker 7: The got cross Street counted six times that the house
- 11:09Speaker 7: was hit, and then that the fence, which was a
- 11:12Speaker 7: good probably I don't know one hundred yards because we
- 11:15Speaker 7: had a huge piece of property. I'm out one hundred feet,
- 11:19Speaker 7: not one hundred yards. I'm sorry, but about one hundred
- 11:20Speaker 7: feet and uh yeah, so seven times total. I'll never
- 11:25Speaker 7: forget it though, ever.
- 11:26Speaker 1: No, I bet that's crazy. How how did the house
- 11:29Speaker 1: end up? Were you guys able to move back in
- 11:31Speaker 1: or was it destroyed? Oh?
- 11:32Speaker 2: No, down yet?
- 11:34Speaker 3: Oh wow, I hear that well, Brenda, that's an amazing story.
- 11:39Speaker 3: We appreciate you so much.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Glad you guys are all okay, thank you?
- 11:43Speaker 7: Oh yeah, definitely. You guys have a great day.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Yeah, thank you so much for listening.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Were while working in his yard and he's going to
- 11:49Speaker 1: be fine, but we're taking stories from you.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Love to talk to somebody who's been struck by lightning.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Nine oh four three eight thirty six ninety nine. Thanks
- 11:56Speaker 2: for listening, Thanks for calling. What you got with ninety
- 11:58Speaker 2: nine one do w e QYK.
- 12:00Speaker 6: Yesterday, me and my wife was out there in the pool.
- 12:02Speaker 6: So we heard it coming up, you know, and I'm like,
- 12:05Speaker 6: oh man, we need to get out because we're here thunder,
- 12:07Speaker 6: so you need to go in. So we got out
- 12:09Speaker 6: of the pool and everything and all of a sudden,
- 12:11Speaker 6: you know, just sprinkled and everything and all the lightning
- 12:13Speaker 6: and just went away. I said, okay, well hold on,
- 12:16Speaker 6: I'm gonna go out there and put a little bit
- 12:17Speaker 6: of chlorine in the pool. And it's because I don't
- 12:21Speaker 6: want to, you know, be low on chlorine.
- 12:23Speaker 8: Man.
- 12:23Speaker 6: When I ever started putting that chlorine in that pool,
- 12:26Speaker 6: and out of the corner of my eye, I seen
- 12:28Speaker 6: the lightning it come down and glared across that pool water.
- 12:33Speaker 6: I forgot what I was doing. Wow, I got the
- 12:36Speaker 6: chlorine and all I left it laying on the ground
- 12:39Speaker 6: and took off running and got it back into the house.
- 12:42Speaker 1: So you say you got struck. Maybe it traveled and
- 12:44Speaker 1: hits you a little bit.
- 12:45Speaker 6: I don't think you did, but cause man, I was
- 12:48Speaker 6: moving when they when I seen it off that water. Yeah,
- 12:51Speaker 6: when I seen it out of the corner of my eye,
- 12:53Speaker 6: because I've seen the glare.
- 12:54Speaker 7: Off that pool water.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Really pickles. He ended up beating the whole jar of pickles.
- 12:58Speaker 6: You know.
- 12:58Speaker 1: It's the summer of pickle and we had that pickle
- 13:01Speaker 1: smoothie recently. Yeah, everybody's in on the pickle game. My
- 13:04Speaker 1: brother gave me some pickled beer. I've got three cans
- 13:07Speaker 1: of pickled beer. I'm bringing them in pickled beer beer. Yeah,
- 13:10Speaker 1: and we'll try in this week.
- 13:11Speaker 4: What is that like? Twice fermented.
- 13:12Speaker 3: It's better than the smoothie.
- 13:14Speaker 1: It scares me, honestly, so I figured I bring it
- 13:16Speaker 1: in here and we can decide whether we.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Hate it or hate it. Foody Tuesday coming soon.
- 13:20Speaker 2: It's the big show on a muggy Monday with Country
- 13:23Speaker 2: ninety nine one WQ.
- 13:24Speaker 6: I K.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Hope you're doing well. Megan's got three things.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:27Speaker 5: The Palm Beach Airport is making news and Florida's all
- 13:31Speaker 5: everyone can talk about because they're airport's now named Donald J.
- 13:35Speaker 4: Trump Airport.
- 13:36Speaker 5: What is kind of cool though, is Trump Force one
- 13:39Speaker 5: is the first plane to land on it.
- 13:42Speaker 4: I know, it's the.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Greatest airplane, the greatest airport. It's the biggest, most wonderful airport.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I wonder how much gold they've got inside that airport? Now, yeah,
- 13:50Speaker 1: it comes as gold, he does.
- 13:52Speaker 5: It reminds me of like you've got Barbie and then
- 13:55Speaker 5: Barbie jeep you.
- 13:56Speaker 4: Now we have Trump Force one, Trump Force one Airport.
- 14:00Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 14:00Speaker 4: It's kind of funny.
- 14:01Speaker 5: SpaceX has a rocket called Falcon nine that's sending a
- 14:05Speaker 5: batch of twenty nine Starlink satellites into our orbit. They're
- 14:09Speaker 5: shooting off from Cape Canaveral tomorrow, and when you look
- 14:12Speaker 5: in the sky, you'll know if you're seeing it, if
- 14:14Speaker 5: it looks like these little jellyfish things in the sky.
- 14:18Speaker 4: It should be really cool.
- 14:19Speaker 1: That starlink is amazing. It really is. I've got a
- 14:22Speaker 1: starlink system and it works anywhere. Does it really top
- 14:26Speaker 1: of a mountain? Doesn't matter.
- 14:27Speaker 2: But I heard it was amazing that they did it
- 14:29Speaker 2: and offered it for free for the hurricane victims and
- 14:31Speaker 2: people that were displaced.
- 14:33Speaker 3: That's just amazing. Yeah.
- 14:34Speaker 5: The Kingfish a media day that I went to, all
- 14:37Speaker 5: the boats were rigged out with starlink.

- 14:56Speaker 2: next week because it's going to run for a month
- 14:57Speaker 2: and you can save a lot of money.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Yeah, don't even have a kid in school anymore, but
- 15:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna go get a cheap laptop.
- 15:03Speaker 3: I do too.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Yeah, we've done that. Every year we end up getting
- 15:06Speaker 2: something like that. Take advantage of it.
- 15:08Speaker 4: I megan, that's three things you need to.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Know you've been to. You were at a quatic over
- 15:12Speaker 3: the weekend. I sure was, Well, we got a four
- 15:14Speaker 3: pack of tickets for aquatica Awqua Glow.
- 15:16Speaker 2: You could win for your family. What are that before?
- 15:18Speaker 2: Nine here with country ninety nine one WQIK.
- 15:21Speaker 1: By lightning Sunday just yesterday while working in his yard.
- 15:24Speaker 1: And he's gonna be fine, but we're taking stories from you.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Love to talk to somebody who's been struck by lightning.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Nine oh four three at eight thirty six ninety nine.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Thanks for listening, Thanks for calling. What you got with
- 15:34Speaker 1: ninety nine one WQIK.
- 15:36Speaker 6: Yesterday, Me and my wife was out there in the pool,
- 15:39Speaker 6: so we heard it coming up, you know, and I'm like,
- 15:41Speaker 6: oh man, we need to get out because we're here thunder,
- 15:43Speaker 6: so you need to go in. So we got out
- 15:45Speaker 6: of the pool and everything and all of a sudden,
- 15:47Speaker 6: you know, just sprinkled and everything and all the lightning
- 15:50Speaker 6: and just went away. So I said, okay, well hold on,
- 15:52Speaker 6: I'm gonna go out there and put a little bit
- 15:54Speaker 6: of chlorine in the pool. And it's I don't want,
- 15:57Speaker 6: you know, be low on chlorine. Man started putting that
- 16:01Speaker 6: chlorine in that pool, and out of the corner of
- 16:04Speaker 6: my eye, I seem lighting it come down and glare
- 16:07Speaker 6: across that pool water.
- 16:09Speaker 8: I forgot what I was doing.
- 16:10Speaker 6: Wow, I got the chlorine and oh I left it
- 16:14Speaker 6: laying on the ground and took off running this guy
- 16:17Speaker 6: back into the house.
- 16:18Speaker 1: So you think you got struck. Maybe it traveled and
- 16:20Speaker 1: hits you a little bit.
- 16:22Speaker 6: Oh, thank you did. But Golden Man, I was moving
- 16:24Speaker 6: when I seen it off that water.
- 16:27Speaker 8: Yeah, when I've seen.
- 16:28Speaker 6: It out of the corner of my eye because I've
- 16:29Speaker 6: seen the glare off that pool water.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Chomley, I saw that your boy is coming to the amp.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Steven Wilson Jr. I love this guy for whatever reason.
- 16:38Speaker 1: I think he's fantastic.
- 16:39Speaker 4: Tommley's selling to Steve Wilson Jr.
- 16:42Speaker 2: I think what did from like the CMA Awards when
- 16:44Speaker 2: he was out there, he kind of like stole the show.
- 16:46Speaker 3: I thought he stole the show. I'm like, look at
- 16:48Speaker 3: this guy.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Yeah, that was before Chumley was with us here on QIK.
- 16:52Speaker 3: We see him in the hallway.
- 16:53Speaker 2: He walk in and go Steven Wilson Junior, that guy
- 16:56Speaker 2: and It's funny because we don't. He's not one of
- 16:58Speaker 2: those guys who is, like they call him rady friendly,
- 17:00Speaker 2: where the masses are into him so much that we
- 17:03Speaker 2: would play I think we could play him.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, but he's I know, he's going a
- 17:07Speaker 3: little out in the O.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Theysed to say the same thing about Chris Stapleton and
- 17:11Speaker 1: look at him now, you know he should be playing
- 17:13Speaker 1: Steven Wilson Junior. But what I know, I'm just excited
- 17:15Speaker 1: he's coming to the AMP on a Friday night.
- 17:17Speaker 3: That's true. August seventh. Tickets are already on sale.
- 17:20Speaker 2: They kind of did a soft announce late last week,
- 17:23Speaker 2: so in case you missed it, just want to let
- 17:25Speaker 2: you know some good stuff come.
- 17:26Speaker 1: You'll need to get those tickets because that's the show
- 17:28Speaker 1: that will sell out.
- 17:29Speaker 3: It will.
- 17:29Speaker 2: I mean, those are people that the ones that I
- 17:31Speaker 2: remember it was. I guess, you know, maybe Zach Bryan
- 17:34Speaker 2: was the first one that didn't really have a radio
- 17:36Speaker 2: hit and then the next thing you know, he's selling
- 17:38Speaker 2: out the arena.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:40Speaker 2: And then Noah Khan, the singer songwriter guy didn't have
- 17:44Speaker 2: like a bunch of pop hits, but the next thing,
- 17:45Speaker 2: you know, he has sold out the arena yep. And
- 17:48Speaker 2: so you know, I guess that the alternative media in
- 17:51Speaker 2: different kinds of ways of getting your music out now
- 17:53Speaker 2: really is showing when you can start selling out arenas
- 17:56Speaker 2: without hardly any support on the radio.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Just how it is, did it?
- 18:00Speaker 4: This is going to be a great show, yep.
- 18:01Speaker 3: August seventh.
- 18:02Speaker 2: At the end, thank you so much for making this
- 18:04Speaker 2: a part of your Monday Country ninety nine one wq
- 18:06Speaker 2: I K. But before we go, what did we learn?
- 18:09Speaker 3: Megan?
- 18:09Speaker 4: Turns out a lot of people have been struck by lightning.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Yeah, we just had this guy in Fort Caroline struck
- 18:14Speaker 1: yesterday just working in his yard while it was still
- 18:17Speaker 1: sunny out, so you never know. And we also learned
- 18:20Speaker 1: that lightning can strike the same place twice.
- 18:22Speaker 3: We had I think her name.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Was Brenda, her house burn now I'm saying her house
- 18:27Speaker 1: burned down. So that's terrible, all in one storm. It
- 18:29Speaker 1: wasn't like six different times over the years. And her
- 18:33Speaker 1: dad goes out to thank somebody.
- 18:35Speaker 3: The big show extra sponsored by Farah and Farah, Here
- 18:39Speaker 3: for you, Here for Good
