- 0:00Well, this made me feel a lot better about myself. Oh well,
- 0:03good Pike, what is it You don't need an uber or lyft or whatever?
- 0:07Oh you you just have so much beef with Uber? What's not okay?
- 0:10Well, we're not going to bring up the time I left to skating
- 0:13review for an Uber driver because he's the worst person I've ever met, and
- 0:17I stand by that. I will release and let that go moving on.
- 0:20This is more about tipping, because I'll be honest, Historically, I feel
- 0:25like that's the easiest place to not tip, you know, because you don't
- 0:29really see them. You get out of the vehicle, and then it asks
- 0:31you to tip, and you're no longer interacting with the person. I feel
- 0:35bad because I I just don't really know how it works. It's been so
- 0:39long. Usually, if I'm on a vacation or something, sometimes I use
- 0:41an Uber. I'm just usually not out laid anymore. So how does it
- 0:44work for those of us who go to bed at seven o'clock at Well,
- 0:48just on your app, you get out of the car and then it will
- 0:50ask you if you'd like to leave a tip, and then you can leave
- 0:53a tip, and then it'll ask you to rate or review, not right
- 0:56in front, because usually that's when you and that's I think where a lot
- 0:59of the tip gets out of hand is when somebody's staring at you, looking
- 1:02at you and knowing you're about to sign off. You just feel like I
- 1:04got to give at least twenty percent here, right? Nope, not this
- 1:07case. And a shockingly low percentage of people do actually tip their ridehair drivers,
- 1:12according to a new study, seventy eight percent. So they don't leave
- 1:15a tip Ooh and the thing is, you know, because you'll leave a
- 1:19review for the driver and then they leave one for you, but they don't
- 1:22get to see one what you rated them, and then two whether you tip
- 1:26them or not until after they rate you. Oh so it's not going to
- 1:30affect you at all. Interesting. So how does it work with their pay?
- 1:34Do they? Of course they would get the tip, but I wonder
- 1:38are they getting because there's times after ten o'clock it's going to be more expensive
- 1:42that influx. I think, what do they just get a percentage? Right?
- 1:46I don't know, man, I didn't come here to talk about the
- 1:48breakdown of how much you guys get paid. I just didn't know if they
- 1:52had a pretty solid flat salary. Yeah, they all make a one hundred
- 1:56cares or if they're working for tips, you know, I don't know if
- 1:57it's like the restaurant industry. I think I definitely think they're looking for tips.
- 2:02I think that helps, right, I don't know if any of them
- 2:06are getting rich. The ones I talk to it Listen, most of my
- 2:08Uber drivers are pleasant. I've enjoyed driving Uber in this town. It was
- 2:14just the one that was really bad. But for the most part, it
- 2:16sounds like, you know, and in this town specifically, there's a lot
- 2:19of it seems like retired people, people just doing something to get out of
- 2:23the house, make a few bucks. We've had a couple of coworkers do
- 2:25it over time where it's like, hey, they're saving for a trip and
- 2:29they just want to got no plans on the weekend. Why not? Yeah?
- 2:31The way to go, it seems like, because I have people I
- 2:35know doing this now is like Instacart delivery or like Uber eats and stuff,
- 2:38because you know, then you take the people out of it, right,
- 2:42you don't have to have drunk people in your back seat. That would be
- 2:45a struggle for me, just the annoyance level. Yeah, but I know
- 2:47how I am after a glass of wine or two or a bottle that's not
- 2:53going to be good. What do you like? Just I just I can
- 2:54only imagine just so loud, so annoying, and everyone thinks they're funny,
- 3:00like we Just this weekend I was in the Cities with my band doing a
- 3:02little rehearsal for our show Friday night at the Sanctuary where we'll do a Limp
- 3:06Biscuit tribute. Tickets available now. And so we're you're forgetting the big one
- 3:12Saturday. Yeah, we have a nineties pup Girls show Saturday as well at
- 3:15Fort Knox, but this was specifically what we were rehearsing. Got it.
- 3:19So we're getting an uber And we do this all the time because there's five
- 3:23of us in the band for all these years we've been playing. We'll always
- 3:24get an uber and forget to order an uber XL because it's only up to
- 3:29four people and an uber x got it. So then by the time they
- 3:31get there, it's too late to do anything about it. You guys can't
- 3:34do the spider or is it? Like no? Well, yeah, that's
- 3:37just the thing. The driver doesn't allow normally to have too many people because
- 3:40it's a bad to look for them. Yeah, so what we do,
- 3:43and we've mastered the art of what we call big tip. Okay, so
- 3:47you get in the vehicle and the driver will see it and he realizes it's
- 3:51too when he goes no, no, no, no, no no,
- 3:53only four, only four. And then you kind of just like talk a
- 3:57little louder than he is, and you go, big tip, big tip,
- 4:00big tip, don't worry, big tip, like basically bribing limbs.
- 4:02Why are you talking to him like a kid? Big tip tip? Why
- 4:05can't you just be like you have to I would like or ma'am, I
- 4:09would like to give you. That's too much explaining in that amount of time.
- 4:12He'll tell you to get out of there and drive away. You just
- 4:14literally just a big tip, big tip. And as you're doing that,
- 4:16you're all four piling in the back seat and the guy gets in the front.
- 4:20And so this weekend we did it again, you know, like the
- 4:24parents on Home Alone. We did it again, and so we hit him
- 4:27with the big tip. And this guy so we get in there and so
- 4:30what I did was in the back seat, I sat in the middle,
- 4:32but then I just leaned forward and like kind of had my head between the
- 4:35driver and then the passenger tip. Oh, I'm always in charge of the
- 4:40big tip. But then one of the other guys was behind me, so
- 4:43I'm basically on his lap, but I'm leaning forward, acting like I'm just
- 4:46trying to have a conversation with the guys in the front seat, and I'm
- 4:47like giggling the whole time. And then this guy, the craziest guy you
- 4:50ever met, he's driving and he started to drive really fast, and one
- 4:55of our guys we were talking, and he said, oh, you know,
- 4:57it's crazy, and he was going to say something. And the driver,
- 5:00as he's speeding up, heading toward a bridge in Minneapolis, he goes,
- 5:05you know what else is crazy? And we all like my heart stopped,
- 5:11like he's not going to drive off this bridge, and then he slammed
- 5:15on the brakes and he goes, oh, we're here. And he was
- 5:18driving. He was about to drive by the bar that we were going to,
- 5:23but he stopped. And I swear to God, if that bar hadn't
- 5:26been there, we'd all be at the bottom of the Mississippi right now.
- 5:31No more big big Tip, mon, We'll watch this. Now. Here's
- 5:38what you need to know. Well, he is a true hero. Fargo
- 5:42Officer Zach Robinson is going to be receiving an award from the National Association of
- 5:46Police organization's annual Top Cops Awards ceremony. This is going to be in DC
- 5:49on Sunday, May twelfth. Officer Robinson is the first person in North Dakota
- 5:53to receive this recognition. Again, well deserved. He received the award for
- 5:58his bravery from the incident that happened. Team. You never know how you're
- 6:00gonna respond in like a situation like that, no matter how much police training
- 6:03you've had or anything. And he could not have responded like in a braver
- 6:06way. I mean it's just crazy. So well deserved for sure. And
- 6:11if you're waking up this morning going slept in, didn't hear my alarm clock
- 6:15go off? How do you not hear that? What's the lasting we have
- 6:18that kind of alarm? By the way, what iPhones have those like classic
- 6:21alarms? Oh? Do they? You know? We might on the Android.
- 6:25I just have the whatever the regular setting is. Yeah. I can
- 6:29never decide if I want like the most obnoxious alarm to get me up or
- 6:31like a nice gentle ease into the day. Mind's easying into the day,
- 6:34but it's a lot easier to hit snooze because you're just like, eh,
- 6:39whatever. Well, the iPhone alarm actually is not working on some phones.
- 6:42The clock's app feature simply is not working. A lot of people have taken
- 6:46to social media and saying what's going on here? They are kind of trying
- 6:49to work on a way to fix it. But well, let me try
- 6:51mine, because I have an iPhone. I'm gonna send an alarm for one
- 6:54minute from right now, okay, and then just see what happens. Oh,
- 6:58you'll hear my alarm sound actually, which is gonna be hilarious. Right
- 7:00in the meantime, today's May Day. We made it to May may Day.
- 7:05May Day, and uh, I've never done May Day baskets, but
- 7:10it is a tradition on my husband's side of the family. He has two
- 7:15sisters and they used to have their kids do it. So my mother in
- 7:17law had text Nick yesterday saying, are you guys doing May Day baskets because
- 7:21you know it'd still be fun for our littles And we haven't. I honestly
- 7:26don't even know what we would put in it. What you put eggs?
- 7:30Right eggs and chocolate bunnies. Stop it, that's Easter. Oh that's too
- 7:33many basket holidays. It's too much. I just think it'd be really sweet.
- 7:36Think about that. Like if you were coming home today and somebody had
- 7:40left you a May Day basket, that would just make my whole day.
- 7:43It'd be suspicious at best. No, but if you had, you would
- 7:47assume it's somebody you would know, right, Yeah, you would think so
- 7:50because you're also isn't the whole thing You're supposed to be sneaky and not tell
- 7:53people. Oh and then my okayato potato too. Yeah it works. There
- 7:59you go all snooze. Yeah. I switched my alarm over to a boying
- 8:05sound, which I thought, can I think pop out of bed? Yeah?
- 8:07Like initially it was like, okay, that will make me smile,
- 8:11you know what I mean, like anything to like at least start the day
- 8:13with a bit of a smile. But then, as all things do,
- 8:15it got a little old, you know, Like I've decided, no matter
- 8:18what your alarm is, you'll grow to resent it eventually, no matter what.
- 8:22Oh that's good. High school I remember I had the chorus of hold
- 8:26On by Wilson Phillips. I thought, what a perfect song. It's just
- 8:28such a feel good zomday som but he's gonna make you want to tone around,
- 8:33say and eventually now it's like I can't even hear that song because you
- 8:37know what I mean. Oh really, you grow to resent it no matter
- 8:39what it is. All right, well, good look with your boyoy owing
- 8:43sound today sunny today, Hi, Hi sixty five. We are supposed to
- 8:48get sunshine this afternoon and not too much win, so enjoy it. I
- 8:50get a mina in the morning. Seven. Amanda, a mere twenty minutes
- 8:56ago, made a reference. It just got me thinking. She brought up
- 8:58the Magic School. I did, and I thought, it's got me thinking
- 9:05about the decade that was the nineteen nineties. And it's funny, Amanda,
- 9:07because this Saturday in downtown Fargo, we're having a nineties pop crawl downtown with
- 9:13all these participating bars. You start at the ob at two thirty. You
- 9:16get your fanny pack. They're giving up fanny packs for the nineties swag in
- 9:20there. So great. I love that. That's how it's all kicking off.
- 9:24Yeah, so you get that. Then you go around all the bars,
- 9:26of course, and then you end it at Fort Knox. That's sort
- 9:28of the big party. You got a chance to win some really cool tickets
- 9:30to a festival in the cities with a big time lineup. And then of
- 9:33course the entertainment takes the stage on the Fort Knox patio and I'm told it's
- 9:39popular local band Low Standards performing. I'm sorry, popular what local band low
- 9:46Standards? I get? Which way? Of course the band I'm in,
- 9:48And so we'll be from seven to ten pm playing all sorts of nineties hits
- 9:52and then you know, some others we of course, I got my bleed
- 9:54into the other surrounding decades, my nineties gear ready to rock for this.
- 9:58I'm super excited at it's going to be so much fun. I know you
- 10:01had mentioned it's coming up on Saturday, but I've been like nostalgic all week
- 10:05about it, just talking. My husband's like, what what is this shirt?
- 10:07What did you get a new shirt for? Because I wanted I have
- 10:09like all the nineties moms, all of them. That's like a ton of
- 10:11moms, but it's like like friends my mom, millions of others. I
- 10:18basically all the moms from the nineties I have on a T shirt but I'm
- 10:22excited. Well, I mean, you just think about the nineties, so
- 10:24obviously's nostalgic. But there's a lot of things about the nineties that are no
- 10:28longer a thing that we sort of miss and so I'd like to run through
- 10:31some of the most missible ones, Amanda, like such as being completely unreachable
- 10:35by anyone for like a whole day and with no one thinking that it was
- 10:39unusual or rude. Imagine now you can't go to a hold of somebody for
- 10:43a whole day, like what the hell, what's wrong with you? There's
- 10:46a real and like a TikTok that's gone viral of moms like getting their kids
- 10:50ready for school in the morning, Like right now, everybody is trying to
- 10:52get them going. They have to have their backpacks, their Stanley's, their
- 10:56self like all of these things, like you have to have gear to get
- 10:58through the day. And then you still talk to them all day, where
- 11:01we genuinely maybe brought our homework to school, got on the bus and rolled
- 11:07in whenever, Like you never communicated with your parents all day long. I
- 11:11don't even know if they knew where we were. I mean they had,
- 11:16but isn't that crazy? Yeah, well, yeah, yeah, you could
- 11:18tell somebody. You could be like, yeah, I'm over at I'm over
- 11:20at Gym's house, and they'd be like, Okay, I hope you're telling
- 11:24the truth exactly. Now would be like, hey, send me a picture
- 11:26of Jim's house so I know you're really there. Jim's dad. Nice,
- 11:30try, I can see your location. You're at the ice cream shop.
- 11:33That's just say like the sharing of the location. Legitimately, everybody knows where
- 11:37you are at all times. If you got something you want to add to
- 11:39the list of things that you missed from the nineties seven one two, eight
- 11:43h one, ninety eight seven. I know we got some interesting comments on
- 11:45Facebook. Yeah, Rachel one of our top fans, she said, my
- 11:50flat stomach. That's funny. I mean, don't we all. Although I
- 11:54think I was probably at my worst in the nineties. I was a big
- 11:58boy. I ate a lot of ice cream. I feel like you and
- 12:01I maybe had a glow up as we're growing up. A couple of glow
- 12:05ups, a couple of glowdowns. Real roll. There's this girl, Amanda
- 12:09Lee just hilarious on our page. She put the I blocked her okay ahead,
- 12:13she put waiting for pictures to get developed and being surprised what shows up.
- 12:18The other day, I had happy hour with one of my girlfriends and
- 12:20she had a bag of pictures that she had found that her parents had given
- 12:24her. And it was like all of our old school pictures from prom and
- 12:28just shenanigans. They're all on stage, They're all just natural photos. One
- 12:33person looks good in one, one doesn't. We used to just wait at
- 12:37Magic Photo and perm for like the hour just to see like what I was
- 12:41gonna show up on because how many did you get out of one roll?
- 12:43Was it like thirty photos something like that like that, and yet you had
- 12:46no idea what the quality was going to be. But there was something charming
- 12:48about every photo being like you know, like you said, some people are
- 12:52good, some don't now everything that you take a thousand pictures so everybody looks
- 12:54perfect, the lighting, the cameras on phones. I just love those old
- 12:58photos. Yes, no, they're so great. Yeah. Also people pointed
- 13:01out like things like MTV playing music videos. Miss that, Darrel, Yes,
- 13:07I mean that was cool, just music in general. I just missed
- 13:09so much. How like how much of a novelty it was to hear music
- 13:13like when you had a CD really liked like it was so music meant so
- 13:18much more because it wasn't as accessible. You know. I was in the
- 13:22nineties putting a cassette tape in before I'd go to church, putting the tape
- 13:26on it and recording like Rick D's in the Weekly Top forties, so then
- 13:30I could go back and listen to it because it was just that's how I
- 13:33listened to the jams, just like technology at all was so it was such
- 13:35a novelty. Like I remember thinking when our family got a printer, I
- 13:39remember it being so like in disbelief that we could print paper and I could
- 13:45type something and then it would be on the paper. I would just print
- 13:48my They had to tell me, they had to like cut me off from
- 13:50the printer. I'd get grounded. They say, all right, no more
- 13:52printer for the week. Yes. So I was just like type in paragraphs
- 13:56and then going, oh my god, I'm an author. Look at this
- 14:00in like remember did you ever you were on the bus and it just when
- 14:03you could put a CD in, it was like, hey, I'm cool,
- 14:07let me grab my CDs out. Yeah, I'm not talking to you
- 14:09idiots. Today, I'm gonna be in my walkman and all the time.
- 14:15You're terrible. Oh yeah, Bus eight going from the where I grew up
- 14:18down the gravel road all the way to Glendon, but we were rolled route
- 14:22two for me. Yeah, no, I not good. Yeah. Also
- 14:24things people missed from the nineties having a printed list of family and friends phone
- 14:28numbers next to the phone or stuck on their fridge, or even just like
- 14:31a telephone in general. Remember when you did you ever have like the what
- 14:39what like telephone? No no, no, no no no no, like
- 14:43the they were at fashion bug or you'd get them at like deb like a
- 14:46rotary phone. No no, no, the cool like colored sea through phone,
- 14:50like I had a purple one. Remember that. I do remember those?
- 14:54Yeah. I still have the numbers memorized. That was on our list,
- 14:56our master list of phone numbers, you know, like somebody Yeah,
- 15:01like every you had all your friends numbers memorized. I actually just had somebody
- 15:05ask me the other day Wi sid starting in kindergarten. Oh she had her
- 15:07kindergarten toun. She's like, do you does your daughter know your phone number?
- 15:11Like crazy, You're just think no, you I mean, I don't
- 15:16even know your number, you know what I mean. Exactly in the nineties,
- 15:18I would have had your number memorized. You know what I mean.
- 15:20We're gonna calling you all the time. Another thing people missed from the nineties
- 15:22is just showing up at someone's house unannounced because you were in the neighborhood and
- 15:26you wanted to say hi. Can you imagine the alarm that would go off
- 15:30in your head if somebody just showed up at your house. No, you'd
- 15:33think somebody was dead. Yeah, like there was no other a thought process
- 15:37other than who died? Why are you here? Yeah? Oh my god.
- 15:39They'd be horrifying. Oh good time, Oh good. We can relive
- 15:43all these things. Saturday Downtown, the nineties pub crawl. It's happening.
- 15:48Just look on Facebook. It's called Your Little Information. But I know everybody's
- 15:50just kind of waiting for that seven to ten window at Fort Knox when ls
- 15:56I'm gonna be brock in center bike I'm going. You know you keep saying
- 15:58that, but be right, I've heard it before. No, I promise
- 16:02kind of gonna have to believe it when I see it sort of thing.
- 16:04Unless nope, I got my appendix out last year. I no I think
- 16:07I'm good. I have two appendixes, so you probably have to have the
- 16:11other one out right, Yeah, Amanda in the morning on SAG seven.
- 16:15You know they've always called me the love doctor. You know that. Ain't
- 16:19nobody calling you the love doctor Pike? Many have? Oh yeah, yeah,
- 16:22And that's why I'm here to tell you how you can make your relationship
- 16:26even healthier. Is that from the summer at twenty thirteen you were the love
- 16:30doctor. Keep bringing that up four because that's fun. That's going eleven years
- 16:33ago, I know, and I'll never forget ever. Okay, Amanda,
- 16:38trust me, I've got a track record myself. What enough of that.
- 16:44Let's talk about how to make your relationship healthier. Trust me, you'll be
- 16:48thanking me when we're doing okay, Like, for example, always put your
- 16:51sweetie before your phone. That goes without saying, but I feel like you
- 16:55might need a reminder. You know, we were just talking about parallel swiping
- 16:59parallels. Were you both in bad scrolling on your phone's individually? Yeah?
- 17:03Last night I think it was, Yeah, last night, had my phone
- 17:07like just all the way over? Did the like, can I come under
- 17:10just a little snug? It was something like because we both didn't have our
- 17:14phone watching something. Okay, so a thing I think I said on air,
- 17:18you've really implement your own life. Yes, so I just wanted to
- 17:22let you know I appreciate that, and that connection felt really good. Good,
- 17:26good good. We'll try this one then too. Never stop flirting with
- 17:29and wooing them totally. You know, we could all go for a little
- 17:33more wooing. Do you still woo? I try? I know my husband
- 17:38is still good at the woo. Yeah, he is very just the little
- 17:41things he said, yeah, yeah, he has something today. I'm like,
- 17:45hey, good luck, proud of Yeah. He just like thanks,
- 17:48you know, just like it's pretty basic exchange. No, I know,
- 17:52but it's just like those meaningful things. It's like, well, no,
- 17:56I don't feel like just with the emojis, I don't know. Was just
- 18:00the appreciate I mean, I get what you're saying, but then the example
- 18:03you used was underwhelming. I'll say that. Let me see he said good
- 18:07luck to say and he said thanks. No, he said thank you Wu.
- 18:11It's weird that my nickname is also because that's how big of a how
- 18:17much he wooes me. It's a long story. Yeah, well I don't
- 18:21know if do we have time? No, you can't do it. Well,
- 18:23my wife, she was wooing me this morning as well. She said,
- 18:26uh, good morning. It was pretty odd. Did you respond yet?
- 18:32I said, good morning? Yeah, and that's what Then I'll see
- 18:34her when I get home. No, I'm kidding. Come on. Number
- 18:38two. Way to keep your relationship happy and healthy. When your partner asks
- 18:42for love, here's the key. Respond by giving them even more than what
- 18:48they asked for. Okay, when they're asking for love, Yeah, Like,
- 18:52if they reach out to you to say, goes, I want love,
- 18:56that's gonna feel weird. Well, if they say something like I feel
- 18:59needy and I miss you, you'll maybe just offer a hug, maybe a
- 19:02kiss. However, you need to go beyond that all. If they come
- 19:06to you looking for love, go the extra mile. Go get them a
- 19:10coffee or massage their foot, Okay, and then finally wait to keep your
- 19:15relationship nice and half nice and healthy. You're not taking this seriously. I'm
- 19:22just just thinking of if this were to go down and I'm like, gosh,
- 19:26I'm feeling like I need some love today, extra love. I'm just
- 19:30saying, if you tried all these things, you'd have a third baby on
- 19:32the way. I'm just saying all the more reason I'm not well. Then
- 19:37don't do this. Don't do not expect you in your partner. And I
- 19:41know that's a confusing sense, so let me say it again. Do not
- 19:45expect you in your partner. Think about that. Okay, so sometimes if
- 19:48you in your partner, yes, well yeah, you at least ask first.
- 19:56No, man, What I mean by do not expect you and your
- 19:57partner is you got embrace the differences. For example, it might be easy
- 20:02to see your partner and be like, how come your why are you stressed
- 20:04out about this situation? Because you know I I deal with all kinds of
- 20:08stress and I would never be stressed in that situation. Yeah, no,
- 20:11that's not good. Don't compare you to your partner. Everybody has different feelings
- 20:15and different emotions about different things. Absolutely, how come you don't have hobbies
- 20:19like I do? You know? Like you know? Oh you only worked
- 20:23this many hours? Say I did this? You know? So just one
- 20:27up situation is never a good comparison. Is the old thief thief of joy?
- 20:32As they say, thief of joy. You might have really just solidified
- 20:37the love doctor what did I tell you? Any apologies, anything you want
- 20:41to take back from the last few minutes. I'm just letting it all sink
- 20:44good. All right, whoo, like a minute in the morning on Big
- 20:51Nuddy eight points seven, maybe you can get outside and get your steps in
- 20:52today. I mean that's the goal, right, That's the key to life
- 20:56is getting those ten thousand steps. Take every time my fit goes like at
- 21:00the end of the day and it gives me all the confetti and I hit
- 21:03ten thousand steps. That just says like, yes, you've achieved. Great,
- 21:08you've achieved something. Yes. I hate to spoil this for him.
- 21:11Apparently this ten thousand steps phenomenon not true. This according to Heather Milton.
- 21:18She's an exercise physiologist, and she says it's not about getting ten thousand steps.
- 21:22That's not the key to your health and your longevity. It's more about
- 21:26the number thirty and you're thinking thirty that's not even close to a ten thousand.
- 21:32No, she says, it's about getting moderate intensity level exercise for thirty
- 21:36minutes every day. Ah, gotcha walking? You know, obviously we all
- 21:41walk at our own pace, but it can be pretty casual. Every once
- 21:44in a while do you have a fitbitpike. No, I don't. So
- 21:47every once in a while will give me like the zone one fifty where it's
- 21:49like, oh, my heart rate's been up and I was active. I'm
- 21:52like, oh, even when I'm you know, cleaning or chasing the kids
- 21:55or doing whatever it may be that makes me also feel good picking something up,
- 22:00laying in bed, grabbing that glass of wine, it's like, ooh,
- 22:03we're hard. Right, way to go, Sugar Olympics, Here I
- 22:07come. She says that, so basically the key is to get thirty minutes
- 22:12of this moderate activity, and she said the key to that is not all
- 22:17steps are the same. So basically you got to pass the talk test.
- 22:21So in order to qualify as getting this thirty minutes of moderate to high activity,
- 22:26you shouldn't be able to hold a conversation. You shouldn't be You should
- 22:29only be able to basically respond with one word. Yeah. So if you're
- 22:33walking a little bit more walking intense and you you know, hey, do
- 22:36you want to go for a nice little strew? Yeah, it's just like
- 22:38and I don't want to judge, because obviously doing anything is better than nothing.
- 22:42Absolutely, So when I go to the gym, and you see people
- 22:45like on a treadmill reading a book for example, I'm like, come on,
- 22:49what are we doing? And again, I think it totally depends on
- 22:53your abilities and where you're at. Like for me, sometimes it's like,
- 22:57oh, ten thousand steps, that's got to be better than not doing the
- 23:00thirty. Well it is, yeah, for sure is. And they say
- 23:03also things you should keep in mind you should never be sedentary or just sitting
- 23:07in one place for more than thirty minutes. So if you're at a desk
- 23:11all day, every thirty minutes, your goal should be to get up,
- 23:14do something, move around. Yesterday was I was like, ah, I'm
- 23:18just sore because I felt like I was just stagnant for like two days,
- 23:21really not doing a whole lot because of the rain. Just kind of eh.
- 23:23And even in our job, we've talked about getting like a walking pad.
- 23:27Yeah, just what we're on air, But I'm like, i'd be
- 23:30like the only morning so that sounds out of breath. All coming up,
- 23:34guys, We've got some new Taylor Swift news, and I mean that's gonna
- 23:37be pretty painful to listen to, but eventually we'll get in such good shape.
- 23:41You won't tell them. You want to know something crazy? Do we
- 23:42have time for a crazy story? Yeah? For sure? About ten thousand
- 23:45steps? You know where it came from. Apparently back in the sixties,
- 23:49that's when the whole ten thousand steps is what you need in the today started
- 23:52because that long ago it was over in Japan because their symbol in Japan for
- 23:56the number ten thousand looks like a person walking, and so they used it
- 24:02as like this whole marketing campaign and ever since then, that's why we did.
- 24:07That's nothing. Ten thousand means nothing other than it's like a nice round
- 24:11number. I mean, there's that. So we've been going off of this.
- 24:14I feel like I've been duped my whole life. You absolutely have,
- 24:18and we can blame the Japanese symbol for ten thousand crazy. No way,
- 24:22Why don't you go to work day and pass that info along to somebody.
- 24:26See how smart you sound? Drop that on somebody at the cooler. Honestly,
- 24:30my mind is blown right now. Hard to believe. Now I need
- 24:33to google like how many steps? Is? Like? I like, do
- 24:36I really need to get to ten thousand? That? It is a lot,
- 24:38especially if you're doing it all at once and do you know how bad
- 24:41I felt about myself, like midday yesterday when I only had like three thousand
- 24:45steps in and I'm like, I'm just a failure. But who knows,
- 24:48maybe that was fine. You ever have those weekend days where it's like halfway
- 24:51through the day and you look and you're still like in the hundreds, just
- 24:53literally rolled out. That's like, get a minute in the morning, Come
- 24:57get up, Landa stills, the seat looks seed Oh, Britney Spears.
- 25:03She jumped on Instagram Stories with a video of her. She was in the
- 25:07passenger seat of the car. Her assistant was in the background. Now,
- 25:11her assistant is British, So at first Britney Spears is talking and then she's
- 25:15looking at her so and she's like, I'm gonna talk like you now.
- 25:18So the audio we're about that's why she's speaking in a British house. Is
- 25:22her, yes, doing that. The whole video is like two plus minutes.
- 25:25But she's going nuts over this white school bus. She can't believe that
- 25:29there's a school bus painted white. She's saying, how sharp it looks.
- 25:32It is just interesting to me because of course we're all kind of dissecting her
- 25:37every move and how she looks at the world. But she truly does look
- 25:41like somebody who was locked up and then just let out into the wild.
- 25:44And it's just like in awe of her surroundings all the time. So she's
- 25:48driving up this mountain. Yeah, I mean, I don't know. I
- 25:49saw that school bus and that kind of thound. Damn, she's right,
- 25:52you di's a sharp school bus, nice little magic school bus. But they
- 25:56were didn't say that they were headed up to a horseback ride. Now,
- 26:00remember this is I'm trying to figure out where this all came from. But
- 26:03she all of a sudden decided to go after her sister, Jamie Lynn in
- 26:07this video. Remember she was on that show I'm a celebrity, Get me
- 26:10out of here. Oh yeah, I'll go forget. I know. It
- 26:14was a very memorable moment of Jamie Lynn's career, but her sister not having
- 26:18it. My sister did a TV show and they bathed her in the jungle.
- 26:23She said, bathed me because I'm like stuck in the jungle and I
- 26:26missed my kids. Oh cater to me little. So apparently her and her
- 26:33sister are not on good terms anymore, because I felt like they were starting
- 26:37to mend their relationship. It doesn't feel real rollercoaster with this girl. But
- 26:41yeah, she deleted that post. By the way trip we said magic school
- 26:52bus, and it's all I can think about, Miss Frizzle, Miss is
- 26:56it frizzle or frazzle? It is frizzle. That was a class A great
- 27:00thing to watch before school. We just really Britney spears right there. I
- 27:03don't even know what that means, but all over the board. Yeah,
- 27:06okay, so she doesn't like her sister, got it? No, I'd
- 27:10rather talk about old nineties TV shows, all right? Kenna Glamar? Is
- 27:14she or? He fired back at Drake. So they've had this ongoing feud
- 27:18with lyrics for what probably a month. I mean it feels like it's been
- 27:21longer than that. The last month that's been real intent hard to keep up
- 27:23with these beefs. So this is good. Kendrick dropped a new song who
- 27:27was called Euphoria Now. In it, he says, am I battling ghost
- 27:33or AI beleep in feeling like Joel ostein funny He was in a film called
- 27:38AI and my sixth Sense telling me to off him. So he's trying to
- 27:45talk about how Drake was using AI for his lyrics, so it was there
- 27:51except for Joel Ostein is not the guy you're looking for. No, we're
- 27:56talking about Haley Joel Osman, Oh the child after Yes he dead people.
- 28:00Yes, not Joel Ostein, who Mega church faster. At least that means
- 28:07he probably's writing his own lyrics because I'm guess I nobody prof read that.
- 28:10Do you think that maybe that was the point and to get people's attention or
- 28:14do you think he totally had no idea? I don't. You gotta know
- 28:17the difference. You don't know? Well, oh, ozmon Ostein, You're
- 28:22right, those lyrics sound so bad when you're just saying them out loud,
- 28:25right, and if you hear it, you're probably like, oh, yeah,
- 28:26he's spitting good lyrics. Absolutely spin And it's not very often I have
- 28:33to commend Kim Kardashian. I don't know if I actually ever have, but
- 28:36I will tell you now that she's in the dating world, we really haven't
- 28:38seen her relationships. We knew that she kind of had a little sum something
- 28:42going on with Odell Beckham Junior, but now inside sources are saying it is
- 28:45officially over and I love that she kind of let it fizzle out, didn't
- 28:51go over the top and crazy, you know, like marry him or blow
- 28:53him up on social media or any of that. It was really on the
- 28:56down low, like I think she's finally getting it. It seemed like they
- 29:00were maybe just kind of having a good time. Yeah, and now it's
- 29:03over. It fizzled out. Maybe she thought he was a better player than
- 29:07he actually is. Maybe in her head he was still like rookie year Odell
- 29:11Beckham, and then she got to know him, she was like, oh
- 29:14boy, aren't they wanting him to play baseball or something again? He was
- 29:18wanting that. I could have swore I just saw a headline that said somebody
- 29:22wanted him to be back on the field. That's news to me, and
- 29:26I listened to a lot of sports conversation. Here's what I'm gonna need to
- 29:30do. I'm gonna put an asterisk on that. Okay, I'm pretty sure
- 29:33that's what I. Don't take that to the bank. You got
