  Trump has set the internet on fire once again over this past weekend.

  Last weekend, it was the whole on Easter.

  He put out that pretty vicious tweet and rubbed everybody the wrong way.

  This weekend, he put out a picture of himself, a photograph,

  not a photograph, I guess just a painting or portrait, AI generated of him almost in Jesus attire.

  And this is, everybody is split. And I think I respect the people the most that

  are sensible and reasonable and not just if Trump does it, it's good.

  Or if Trump does it, it's bad.

  Let's take everything case by case basis. But here's the photo you can see right here.

  So there's, I almost said Jesus, there's Donald Trump.

  There's Donald Trump and he's putting his hands, blessing a man that it looks

  ill and sick and everyone's praying.

  And there's probably, there's a lot going on there. I don't know if Donald Trump

  really thinks all of this through it on the surface of it.

  I saw this photo and then I didn't realize that the internet was on like on

  fire right now about him putting this out there.

  I, I immediately was like, don't go there. That's not the, that's not the way Mr. President Trump.

  But the people that I've been seeing lately that have been coming out about this is Catholics,

  Catholics, and there's on both sides, but Catholics, you cannot say a word about

  somebody standing in the position of Jesus.

  You can't, you can't, because the Catholic doctrine is the Pope is the vicar
• 1:35
  of Christ. He is Christ on earth.

  That's, I mean, that's pretty much where it goes. And he speaks the words of
• 1:41
  God. So you got to be careful there.

  I mean, And there's a whole thing of where we got there and how,

  and I would love to go down that road and I might in just a bit of what I think about all that.

  But just getting on this about Donald Trump and him, what he did,

  this was immediately after he put out this post regarding Pope Leo.

  And I'm going to read it for you.

  Pope Leo is weak on crime and terrible for foreign policy.

  He talks about fear of the Trump administration, but doesn't mention the fear

  that the Catholic Church and all other Christian organizations had during COVID

  when they were arresting priests,
• 2:13
  ministers, and everybody else for holding church services even when going outside
• 2:17
  and being 10 and even 20 feet apart.

  I like his brother Louis much better than I like him because Louis is all MAGA.

  He gets it and Leo doesn't. I don't want a Pope who thinks it's okay for Iran
• 2:31
  to have a nuclear weapon.

  I don't want a Pope who thinks it's terrible that America attacked Venezuela,
• 2:37
  a country that was sending massive amounts of drugs into the United States,
• 2:40
  and even worse, emptying their prisons, including murderers,
• 2:43
  drug dealers, and killers into our country.

  And I don't want a Pope who criticizes the president of the United States because
• 2:49
  I'm doing excellently what I was elected in a landside to do.

  Setting record low numbers in crime and creating the greatest stock market in
• 2:58
  history, Leo should be thankful because as everyone knows, he was a shocking surprise.

  He wasn't on any list of the Pope.

  List to be the Pope and was the, it was only put there by the church because

  he was an American and, and they thought that they would be the best way to
• 3:13
  deal with president Donald Trump.

  If I wasn't in the white house, Leo would be in the Vatican,
• 3:18
  wouldn't be in the Vatican.

  Unfortunately, Leo's crime, Leo's week on crime, week on nuclear weapons doesn't

  sit well with me, nor does the fact that he meets with Obama sympathizers like David Axelrod,

  a loser from the left, who is one of those who wanted churchgoers and clerics to be arrested.

  Leo should get his act together as Pope, use common sense, stop catering to
• 3:41
  the radical left and focus on being a great Pope, not a politician.

  It's hurting him very badly. And more importantly, it's hurting the Catholic
• 3:48
  church, President Donald Trump.

  So whatever you think about that, there is the separation between church and state.

  And I disagree, you know, with the whole Catholic, you know,
• 3:57
  what they feel about the Pope and who he is, and what he represents.

  I do wanna step into this a little bit. I don't know if I'm gonna get myself

  into something by saying this.

  By them saying that he has the succession of Peter, the Pope,

  why is it that they are able to just lay claim on it?

  Because it seems like it was a power grab.

  In the early church. It seems like it was just a power grab to just lay claim

  to that as opposed to, so you didn't want it to go to anyone else.

  That it gets very foggy and very hazy the closer we get to the apostle Peter,

  because after him, and it's not until a couple hundred years or so until people
• 4:35
  even start formulating this idea, because they want to consolidate power.

  And then they just rip a verse and say, because Jesus said he's the rock of the church.

  Yes, Peter's the rock of the church. The other apostles are rocks of the church.

  We are stones of the church. We are being built as a temple.

  But to say that just because he said that about Peter, that you have the right
• 4:56
  as the Catholic church to say that he's our guy.

  And where, because when you get into it, it's, it gets, there's no really succession.

  You, when you get to the very closest to the apostles, like why is the apostle

  Peter not running the Jerusalem council in the church? If he's the one that
• 5:12
  is Jesus's representative, he has the authority.

  Why is Jesus's half brother, James?

  Why is he presiding over that in making the decision, the final decision and
• 5:23
  putting out the statement?
• 5:24
  And then they just they move stuff like they we got to get him to Rome, but he's that.

  That's how it all happened. It just gets all murky. And it just feels weird.

  It's like, it reminds me of the idea of people that are critical of Israel and

  saying about 1948 that that's just random group of people that just wanted to lay claim to Israel.

  You're doing the same type of thing. And like 1948, they're saying that we are the true Israel.

  Why does the Pope today get to say, I'm the true vicar of Christ?

  I'm the true succession of Peter.

  You would think that the apostles would have delineated more clearly about that.

  It's just a lot of these traditions and ideas that came from the early church,

  you know, that's good and all, that can be great, but it is lined up with scripture.

  If this was the doctrine of the apostles, you would think that they would make
• 6:12
  it a more specific message and clear message in their writings.

  But there's none of that. It's not until hundreds of years later that this all

  gets formulated and fashioned, and now the church is in Rome.

  I'm cool with Catholics. I've wanted to be Catholic.

  I've said that over and over in my life. And I think there are true Christians,

  but it's not your identity to the Catholic church.

  It's your identity to Jesus Christ. That's where it comes down to.

  And I think there's confusion when people think that they're identifying with

  God when they just are inside a building or they've done something.

  They took communion or were baptized and their hope is, and the rest is in that.

  Jack Vasebic, I wanted to point this out because he's a Trump supporter.

  He's Catholic also himself, but he put out there, he put out a bunch of different

  tweets because everybody's tweeting over this, what Donald Trump put out there

  about almost in, you could say Jesus regalia, but more than likely,

  Donald Trump probably had a mindset of the Pope.

  If you want to say that you're the vicar of Christ, I'm going to do,

  and he's just being crazy Donald Trump fashion. I don't like it.

  It doesn't sit with me well, him putting out there what he did.

  But Jack Pasebic, he has been a person that is...

  Defending Donald Trump for doing this. And it pointed out, you know,

  the people there's been so many represent like people that did movies of Jesus,

  act like Jesus, dress like Jesus, like the chosen right now that's happening.

  I know that's that's just theater and trying to depict and try to get a message across this.

  That doesn't change the fact with me that it feels weird.

  Donald Trump put himself in the position like you're looking like Jesus and

  acting like you're putting your hands on someone and you're giving the healing.

  That doesn't sit well with me. And I'm gonna be honest, I'm not gonna be a person,

  I like Donald Trump and I stand with him,

  when he does something, I'm going to call it out. And I don't know if you're

  the same way or if you're just diehard one way or the other.

  But Jack Pasebic tweeted, and then we all crashed out because Trump posted a meme.

  And then it's funny because he got community noted. It says,

  Jack has previously called pictures depicting people as Jesus as blasphemous,

  most notably George Floyd.

  I think we can say, I think we can walk and chew gum at the same time.

  I think we can be nuanced and articulate the differences that what we believe.

  And I Jack's being truthful and honest right there.

  He's saying what he thinks. It doesn't sit well with me that Donald Trump did

  that, but I'm not Donald Trump. I'm not him.

  And he's going to do everything that's politically charged that's going to drive
• 8:47
  people crazy. He does that every day, every weekend, and the people are out
• 8:52
  in droves and they're going to be critical of this.

  Let me know what you think about the whole Peter thing, about that succession

  going through the the Pope.

  Cause I'm very curious about that. It just doesn't seem right.

  It just seems like another thing that the Catholic church has just taken hold

  of and said, laid claim to that.

  You know, anybody could just come along and say, that's our verse.

  And because of that, our guy is the true speaker of Christ on earth.

  That just, it doesn't seem right. And never has. And I've always been a lot,

  And I don't want to, it's kind of like a matter of fear, you know,

  because I don't want to be speaking out against if, if it is of God,

  but I, I, I'm not convinced that it is.
