- 0:04Speaker 1: Drama, darling. Drama, darling. Drama, darling.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Hello, welcome back in. It's Drama Darling. It's me, Amy Phillips.
- 0:24Speaker 2: I'm with Emily Duresis, and we are having a very
- 0:27Speaker 2: somber beginning to the premiere episode of The Real Housewives
- 0:32Speaker 2: of Salt Lake City. So Emily, as I welcome you in,
- 0:36Speaker 2: it's important to talk about what happened with Mary and
- 0:41Speaker 2: the loss of her son, Robert Jr. This episode at
- 0:45Speaker 2: the very beginning was devastating to watch. And I know
- 0:50Speaker 2: we watched all the news come out and it unfolded
- 0:53Speaker 2: when he got out of prison, of course. And we
- 0:56Speaker 2: were so delighted for Mary that he was back. And
- 0:59Speaker 2: then to discover that he OD'd and passed away. So
- 1:07Speaker 2: here we are. It's February 4th, 2026, correct? I didn't
- 1:12Speaker 2: realize how close it was to him getting out of prison. Yeah.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Three weeks later.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Which I, when I was watching the episode, I paused
- 1:23Speaker 4: it to look up, like, how often does that happen?
- 1:26Speaker 4: And according to the National Institute of Health, NIH, substance
- 1:30Speaker 4: relapse happens with about 30% of individuals relapsing within the
- 1:36Speaker 4: first day of getting out of incarceration and 50% relapsing
- 1:41Speaker 4: within two weeks.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Out of incarceration.
- 1:46Speaker 2: I mean, not rehab, but, you know, prison. That is such...
- 1:52Speaker 2: horrific statistic and it sounds quite accurate especially considering the
- 1:56Speaker 2: situation here and we we all had such a special
- 2:01Speaker 2: place in our heart for Robert Jr. and we still
- 2:04Speaker 2: will because as Meredith said when she was talking to
- 2:08Speaker 2: Mary when they were at their house later you know
- 2:10Speaker 2: he was so courageous to share his story on camera
- 2:14Speaker 2: Mary this was wild to see her sitting with everybody
- 2:18Speaker 2: at the end and talking about this with so much
- 2:24Speaker 2: pride in her son, so much grief, and also no
- 2:28Speaker 2: regrets about sharing his story.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:33Speaker 4: I feel like the producers did a really good job
- 2:38Speaker 4: in how they portrayed all this from, you know, the
- 2:43Speaker 4: top of the episode, all of Robert Jr.
- 2:45Speaker 3: 's story, but like.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that they did a good job because
- 2:50Speaker 4: it's really hard to walk that line in a Housewives episode,
- 2:55Speaker 4: especially like it's very heavy and we need to feel
- 3:01Speaker 4: the weight of it. And I think that I certainly did.
- 3:05Speaker 2: When she was in her kitchen at the beginning and
- 3:08Speaker 2: Big Joe was there and he had picked him up
- 3:11Speaker 2: from prison. Yeah. And he was there for 86 days.
- 3:16Speaker 2: knowing that he was up in his room was really sad.
- 3:20Speaker 2: That moment hurt because you know that he was alive.
- 3:24Speaker 2: And then how happy she was to have him back. So,
- 3:30Speaker 2: you know, when these gals got together without Mary, I
- 3:34Speaker 2: suppose they weren't sure if she was going to show
- 3:37Speaker 2: up or not then at Angie's house. Well, it became
- 3:40Speaker 2: very clear, somewhat in that scene, but mostly at the
- 3:44Speaker 2: end with Mary. when they realize that they are all
- 3:48Speaker 2: she has, which to me was shocking because I believe
- 3:54Speaker 2: her when she says that. Like, I know that she
- 3:57Speaker 2: has a congregation. I don't know how they show up
- 3:59Speaker 2: for her, but if she's the leader, I don't know
- 4:03Speaker 2: how much she's going to lean on them because she's
- 4:05Speaker 2: the leader. But it seems like she really appreciates this
- 4:10Speaker 2: group of women, which I did not expect. Did you? No.
- 4:17Speaker 4: And I mean, I was also surprised that Mary talked
- 4:20Speaker 4: about her siblings because, you know, for her to say
- 4:25Speaker 4: they didn't even call or reach out. I mean, then
- 4:28Speaker 4: we get that we we quickly get into the Mary
- 4:31Speaker 4: Cosby conundrum of it all with the congregation, the church,
- 4:35Speaker 4: the mom, the dad, the family. And so when I
- 4:38Speaker 4: was like, oh, wow, they didn't... I was wondering this
- 4:41Speaker 4: whole time, did she hear from her estranged family?
- 4:44Speaker 3: Right.
- 4:45Speaker 4: So for her to like come out with it, I
- 4:47Speaker 4: was like, okay, I guess that's still where that stands.
- 4:51Speaker 2: It sure is. And that is really horrific. You know,
- 4:55Speaker 2: I don't know. I would think that they would reach
- 4:59Speaker 2: out over this.
- 5:03Speaker 3: I mean, that, yes. Yeah, I agree. I agree. Because
- 5:06Speaker 3: this is like... you know, different level.
- 5:09Speaker 4: I just, um, I guess all it says to me
- 5:12Speaker 4: is that they are pretty hurt as well.
- 5:15Speaker 3: So I, but you would think, yeah, maybe.
- 5:18Speaker 4: And it might be the Robert senior of it all
- 5:20Speaker 4: that they don't want to reach out to Mary. I
- 5:23Speaker 4: don't know, but yeah, it was, um, a question I
- 5:28Speaker 4: was wondering about and she answered.
- 5:30Speaker 2: She sure did. We didn't see Robert senior, which also
- 5:33Speaker 2: was weird. I think this whole episode.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Yeah. He shows up next episode though. I watched this. Yeah.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Okay.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Yeah. They have a conversation at the church, but, um.
- 5:50Speaker 2: I mean, there was an entire staff that was there
- 5:53Speaker 2: at her house.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Not Robert. You know, I was wondering when I saw
- 5:58Speaker 2: that staff of people just like.
- 6:00Speaker 3: You know, Wandering around. Are they working for.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Free from the church?
- 6:04Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes, yes.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Totally. I mean, how can we not think that?
- 6:07Speaker 3: Like, of course. Allegedly, that's what happens.
- 6:12Speaker 2: At that church. You know, with them being there while filming,
- 6:16Speaker 2: I mean, she's filming this really intense scene in front
- 6:20Speaker 2: of all of these people and cameras. But the intimacy
- 6:23Speaker 2: is taken away when you've got like a lot of
- 6:25Speaker 2: strangers in the room. I mean, that had to have
- 6:26Speaker 2: been very odd. But she's quite used to it because
- 6:31Speaker 2: if these are.
- 6:32Speaker 3: I was going to say.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, well, she's lived so much of her
- 6:35Speaker 2: life at the podium, you know, preaching. And then, of course,
- 6:39Speaker 2: now on camera that she obviously... And I think above
- 6:43Speaker 2: all else, she really believes in this being a testament
- 6:48Speaker 2: to her son and to his journey, his struggles, and
- 6:52Speaker 2: a message for people that it could potentially help, which
- 6:56Speaker 2: is why... She believes that she did everything the right
- 7:01Speaker 2: way with him in terms of like him sharing. She
- 7:03Speaker 2: has no regrets is what I'm trying to say. Now,
- 7:05Speaker 2: the part about having the guilt of being a parent
- 7:09Speaker 2: and having a child deal with substance abuse and not
- 7:13Speaker 2: being able to help them is a real statement that
- 7:18Speaker 2: I felt that is very relatable to a lot of
- 7:21Speaker 2: people out there when you feel like you can't do
- 7:24Speaker 2: anything to help this person.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Right.
- 7:27Speaker 2: And the overwhelming feeling I got was from her outlook
- 7:34Speaker 2: on being at peace. And I believe all of that,
- 7:39Speaker 2: but I can't help but see her in total shock.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I mean, this just happened.
- 7:44Speaker 3: And it's nonlinear. You know what I mean?
- 7:47Speaker 4: She might be feeling those feelings for 45 seconds in
- 7:50Speaker 4: that moment.
- 7:51Speaker 3: And then in.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Three minutes from then be devastated on the floor. You
- 7:58Speaker 3: know what I mean? Right.
- 7:59Speaker 4: Right. And so in those three minutes, she's devastated on
- 8:03Speaker 4: the floor. Then she's got to think about that 10 seconds.
- 8:05Speaker 4: She was feeling okay. And go back to that. If,
- 8:08Speaker 4: if she can get back there, like it's all over
- 8:10Speaker 4: the place. I wouldn't say like, Oh, you know, it's
- 8:13Speaker 4: really nice to see her composed, but in terms of,
- 8:17Speaker 4: and how she's getting there.
- 8:18Speaker 3: But at the same time, I'm like, you know, I.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Can't imagine what she's going through when the cameras go away,
- 8:25Speaker 4: especially when everybody leaves.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Well, that's the thing, too. She's surrounded by a lot
- 8:31Speaker 2: of people. This incredible service that we've heard about, which
- 8:36Speaker 2: was sounded beautiful. And I had never I only started
- 8:40Speaker 2: hearing the word. Is it home going? Yeah, I never
- 8:45Speaker 2: heard that until like this year. I had never heard
- 8:48Speaker 2: that before.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Oh, really? Yeah. I heard it.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Really?
- 8:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:55Speaker 2: And I liked that they all embraced the celebration of
- 9:00Speaker 2: his life and that we're all so moved by the
- 9:03Speaker 2: service to honor him.
- 9:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Cray Cray got me. Cray Cray got me. The dog.
- 9:11Speaker 4: Oh.
- 9:12Speaker 3: This dog in the room.
- 9:14Speaker 2: That was so hard.
- 9:15Speaker 3: That was tough.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Yeah, that was so hard.
- 9:19Speaker 4: And I couldn't tell if he was afraid of the cameras.
- 9:23Speaker 4: I was like, is he afraid of the cameras?
- 9:26Speaker 3: Right, right. And then I was like, but he might be.
- 9:29Speaker 2: But he might be, but that's the safe space.
- 9:31Speaker 3: The safe space was in Robert Jr.
- 9:33Speaker 2: 's room. That was awful. No, that was absolutely gut-wrenching.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 9:39Speaker 4: And it, and it also, once again, like fully like
- 9:43Speaker 4: made me feel like, oh, this is like, this is
- 9:47Speaker 4: so real because there was like, you could tell nothing
- 9:50Speaker 4: had changed in his room.
- 9:51Speaker 3: There was like those open Oreos on his nightstand.
- 9:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Like I was just like, oh, this is tough. I
- 9:58Speaker 3: don't know.
- 9:58Speaker 2: We've not seen anything. anything like this. And luckily, the montages,
- 10:04Speaker 2: the flashbacks. I mean, how I mean, everyone I can
- 10:10Speaker 2: only imagine. They're not a dry eye, just crying and
- 10:13Speaker 2: crying about how I mean, he was with us like
- 10:16Speaker 2: he was alive. And we saw his journey. We saw,
- 10:20Speaker 2: you could see the light in his eyes at times,
- 10:24Speaker 2: you know, and then you saw when they dimmed, you
- 10:27Speaker 2: could see what he was going through something and battling it.
- 10:32Speaker 2: And then like, you know, how intelligent he was and
- 10:36Speaker 2: he seemed so kind and it's just so disappointing and
- 10:42Speaker 2: so heart wrenching. And I cannot even imagine, um, And
- 10:47Speaker 2: with Mary saying that it was her choice to come
- 10:49Speaker 2: back and film, I suppose it doesn't surprise me as
- 10:54Speaker 2: her being someone who considers herself, you know, very much
- 10:58Speaker 2: a prophet, prophetess in the world of her religion. So
- 11:05Speaker 2: she would want to share the message. She would want
- 11:09Speaker 2: people to see and feel and preach and say God
- 11:13Speaker 2: is great. you know, God is great and God is
- 11:15Speaker 2: with me and he'll get me through this. I mean,
- 11:17Speaker 2: this is really, that is her purpose. So, um, yeah.
- 11:23Speaker 4: And it's, it's awesome to like, even in this crazy moment,
- 11:27Speaker 4: she had the clarity to not invite Brittany, Brittany over to.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Her house with the rest of the gals. I was
- 11:34Speaker 3: very happy about that. I was like, thank you, Mary.
- 11:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:37Speaker 2: You know, I thought it was interesting that she didn't,
- 11:39Speaker 2: you know, no one brought it up, which I thought
- 11:41Speaker 2: was good. I have a feeling that I hope that
- 11:46Speaker 2: Brittany handles that well, you know, doesn't make any remark
- 11:52Speaker 2: about it. Oh, you think she'll handle it? No, I said,
- 11:56Speaker 2: I said, I said, I hope she handles it with
- 12:01Speaker 2: like kid gloves and doesn't because that because the world
- 12:08Speaker 2: will be after her if she doesn't, you know. And
- 12:12Speaker 2: if she did say something, let's hope those editors had
- 12:15Speaker 2: her back and they took it right out.
- 12:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Well, we'll see. We'll see.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Yeah, we will.
- 12:22Speaker 4: I didn't even miss her or clock her until I
- 12:27Speaker 4: saw scenes, the trailer for next week.
- 12:29Speaker 3: And I was like, oh, yeah. Where was she?
- 12:34Speaker 2: Well, you know... It was interesting because like when Mary
- 12:38Speaker 2: at the end was kind of going around the couch
- 12:40Speaker 2: saying like, you guys are my family, my chosen family
- 12:43Speaker 2: that I didn't ask for. And it was very much
- 12:47Speaker 2: like a Wizard of Oz, you know, like, Heather, you've
- 12:50Speaker 2: been there for me with you always have the right thing. Oh, no,
- 12:54Speaker 2: that was Meredith. You always have the right thing to
- 12:55Speaker 2: say and the way to say it. Heather, you were
- 12:58Speaker 2: there for me from the start. You know, Scarecrow. It
- 13:01Speaker 2: was just everybody had a purpose and she had a message.
- 13:06Speaker 2: for everyone not Angie she didn't say Angie but she
- 13:12Speaker 2: may have she may have said everyone's name but it
- 13:15Speaker 2: just like you know they could have cut around it
- 13:18Speaker 2: but they do have a falling out this season.
- 13:20Speaker 4: I know that's what I was wondering if that was
- 13:23Speaker 4: like edited out on purpose because of that or she
- 13:28Speaker 4: actually didn't.
- 13:29Speaker 2: They weren't they were okay at this point because like
- 13:32Speaker 2: even Angie and her confessionals jeez Louise You know, it
- 13:37Speaker 2: starts with her because she's the closest one to Mary.
- 13:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:40Speaker 2: And everything she was saying about how they always talked
- 13:42Speaker 2: about having only children. And, oh, my God. It's just awful. So, yeah. Now,
- 13:52Speaker 2: the orchids. There were two white orchids that were brought
- 13:54Speaker 2: over to Angie's. And I was like, I guess this is,
- 13:57Speaker 2: you know, what you do because in comes Whitney.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Now Angie's got to take care of orchids? That's, like,
- 14:03Speaker 3: a lot of work. Those, you know.
- 14:06Speaker 2: It's so interesting because like my friend just got in,
- 14:09Speaker 2: like she just moved, got a new house. And so
- 14:12Speaker 2: I brought her this like gorgeous anthenium plant. It's like
- 14:19Speaker 2: a tropical plant, right? Bright in direct sunlight, which sounds
- 14:25Speaker 2: like an oxymoron, but whatever. So I brought it to
- 14:29Speaker 2: her and I was like handing it to her. I'm like,
- 14:31Speaker 2: here you go. one more thing you got to take
- 14:33Speaker 2: care of while you unpack all these boxes. Cause it
- 14:36Speaker 2: really is ironic. Like the way you bring a plant,
- 14:39Speaker 2: you bring a flowers or, you know, when you do
- 14:41Speaker 2: go to these things. But it is, it's kind of
- 14:44Speaker 2: a pain. You are kind of giving someone a pain
- 14:46Speaker 2: in the ass when you hand them something like that.
- 14:48Speaker 2: But I still do think it's nice.
- 14:50Speaker 4: It's nice.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Oh, for sure. For sure. And you know what?
- 14:52Speaker 4: Sometimes when you're going through something like that, you just,
- 14:55Speaker 4: you want a new thing that has nothing to do
- 14:58Speaker 4: with anything. And you're just like, oh, I'm going to
- 15:01Speaker 4: be an orchid person now. Right.
- 15:03Speaker 2: You're going to be like Carol Radziwill with a little
- 15:08Speaker 2: orchid spray.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Yes, the perfume. Do you remember that? Yeah, of course.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Hey, and if Schwartz can keep plants alive, we can
- 15:18Speaker 3: do it.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Oh, we should check in. We should get that plant
- 15:20Speaker 2: cam going and see how he's doing.
- 15:22Speaker 3: We'll see.
- 15:24Speaker 2: So a somber beginning. Indeed, a... devastating and heartfelt beginning.
- 15:32Speaker 2: And I just, here we are, you know, in Salt
- 15:35Speaker 2: Lake City, how much they have gone through in such
- 15:39Speaker 2: a little amount of time. I mean, someone has gone
- 15:42Speaker 2: to prison and then someone's son has gone to prison
- 15:46Speaker 2: and now we've lost someone.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Not to mention all of the marriages falling apart.
- 15:53Speaker 3: And Jen Shaw. Is that what you're talking about? The
- 15:55Speaker 3: going to prison? Yeah. Yes. I wanted to mention Jen Shaw. Twice.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Just to make sure we put it on the map.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Just get it out there.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Also, somebody.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Went to Beverly Hills, Miami, and Bluestone Manor.
- 16:18Speaker 3: That is Lisa Barlow. Right. And then we had that.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Somebody's done that.
- 16:22Speaker 4: I mean, everything's happened in the last few years there.
- 16:25Speaker 2: So much happened. And you know what else has happened?
- 16:28Speaker 2: There was this one time when John Barlow hurt Lisa's
- 16:33Speaker 2: feelings in like 20 years of marriage. When she was
- 16:38Speaker 2: out to dinner with Meredith and she was like, do
- 16:42Speaker 2: you remember I told you about John and how he
- 16:45Speaker 2: hurt my feelings? And she's like, yeah, that one time
- 16:49Speaker 2: a year ago.
- 16:51Speaker 3: That's on film.
- 16:52Speaker 4: And that's the only time that we saw it.
- 16:56Speaker 2: That he hurt your feelings. She's like, Seth just hurt
- 17:00Speaker 2: my feelings 10 times before coughing. But go on. She's like,
- 17:06Speaker 2: he actually apologized in front of everybody on camera and
- 17:13Speaker 2: cried for the second time in his life. Oh, my God.
- 17:19Speaker 2: It's not that I don't believe her, because I do,
- 17:21Speaker 2: but this is a wild relationship. I don't know the
- 17:25Speaker 2: beginnings and ends of this.
- 17:27Speaker 3: So, John.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Went through.
- 17:30Speaker 3: It's her being humiliated, really, at the end of the day.
- 17:34Speaker 3: I mean, like, they probably had all kinds of fallouts.
- 17:39Speaker 3: And this is the one he did on camera. And
- 17:42Speaker 3: that was, like, on a different level.
- 17:44Speaker 2: And it was, because... And I get it, it was
- 17:48Speaker 2: on camera and that should be your safe space. That
- 17:51Speaker 2: should be your person that has your back regardless. But
- 17:54Speaker 2: in the housewives world, you act real. And so if
- 18:00Speaker 2: there is a real reaction and it's caught on camera,
- 18:04Speaker 2: then you have to talk about it. And that's off
- 18:07Speaker 2: limits for them. So I got why that happened and
- 18:11Speaker 2: I got why she was so upset because the second
- 18:14Speaker 2: that you crack open that nut, of emotion where you
- 18:17Speaker 2: show some real response, then your marriage and everything is
- 18:22Speaker 2: going to be under the microscope and you're going to
- 18:24Speaker 2: keep having to revisit it over and over again. Producers
- 18:27Speaker 2: are going to ask follow-up questions. All the other housewives
- 18:30Speaker 2: are going to ask follow-up questions about things. And then
- 18:33Speaker 2: your marriage is going to be scrutinized and will probably
- 18:37Speaker 2: fall apart. So in many ways, I have to appreciate
- 18:42Speaker 2: that she's trying to hold on to her marriage and
- 18:44Speaker 2: not let it be destroyed on television because look at
- 18:49Speaker 2: all the other relationships, you know? Not to say that
- 18:53Speaker 2: they didn't have their problems before they even got on
- 18:56Speaker 2: camera or that these things wouldn't have happened. Maybe they would.
- 18:59Speaker 2: And maybe this is just an expedient way to shuffle
- 19:03Speaker 2: things along in their marriages. But, you know, there's always
- 19:07Speaker 2: that childlike wonder between Lisa and John where I'm like,
- 19:11Speaker 2: Maybe they do live in a different world where they just,
- 19:17Speaker 2: you know, they're in this bubble. Like, they actually have
- 19:20Speaker 2: a love bubble. And they live in it. And it's okay.
- 19:27Speaker 3: I mean, but, yeah, I don't know.
- 19:30Speaker 4: We've seen John be, like, pretty put upon in Lisa's...
- 19:35Speaker 4: In any conversation that they've had, Lisa is... absolutely not
- 19:41Speaker 4: listening to john so what happened i think the love
- 19:47Speaker 4: bubble was already in question for me on that but
- 19:52Speaker 4: she said that this episode by the way what happened
- 19:55Speaker 4: she did.
- 19:56Speaker 2: It was an inconvenient time to grab the sound because
- 20:01Speaker 2: it was an emotional moment, so I didn't want to
- 20:03Speaker 2: grab it based on the context of the situation, but
- 20:08Speaker 2: she did say it.
- 20:10Speaker 3: It was like a, what happened? I mean, they're all
- 20:13Speaker 3: high drama, but this was a, oh, what happened?
- 20:16Speaker 2: Well, yeah, because it was, you know, they were talking
- 20:19Speaker 2: about the sad thing that happened. She was like, I
- 20:21Speaker 2: can't believe what happened.
- 20:25Speaker 4: I feel like you feel like I feel like, I
- 20:28Speaker 4: feel like, I feel like John.
- 20:31Speaker 2: John.
- 20:32Speaker 3: Yeah. Let's just rehearse that a little bit.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Here's the thing. Like, here's what I think. I think
- 20:38Speaker 2: that she was not expecting that. I think that that
- 20:42Speaker 2: was his gift to her to make things right. I
- 20:47Speaker 2: think that he got himself in a place where he
- 20:51Speaker 2: was like, I think he realized at some point since
- 20:55Speaker 2: last year how that really, really hurt her. He apologized
- 20:59Speaker 2: last year.
- 21:00Speaker 3: And probably apologized. Yeah.
- 21:01Speaker 2: And apologized. But then once the cameras were going to
- 21:05Speaker 2: pick up again, I think that he was like, you
- 21:07Speaker 2: know what? I am going to be... I'm going to
- 21:11Speaker 2: really dig deep. I'm going to... I prayed about this
- 21:14Speaker 2: and I love my wife. I never want her to
- 21:16Speaker 2: be hurt. I want her to feel supported. And it's
- 21:18Speaker 2: important to me to tell the world on her behalf
- 21:23Speaker 2: that I am sorry and just like fall on my
- 21:25Speaker 2: sword and just... open up that I was in a
- 21:29Speaker 2: bad time in my life which it's so interesting because
- 21:32Speaker 2: it's like you would have thought that something horrific happened
- 21:37Speaker 2: the way that he apologized because it was so small
- 21:44Speaker 2: it was so he was just like I wasn't going
- 21:46Speaker 2: through the roughest time in my life a really bad
- 21:49Speaker 2: patch and I really just treated you horribly and then
- 21:52Speaker 2: you see the flashback and he's like you never listen
- 21:56Speaker 2: Lisa And like, that was it. You know, it was
- 22:01Speaker 2: like crazy. But, you know, look, everybody has different dynamics
- 22:06Speaker 2: in their relationship and levels of emotion. You know, not
- 22:10Speaker 2: everybody comes from a majorly trauma-based life where their trigger
- 22:17Speaker 2: points are hitting every five seconds in the middle of
- 22:20Speaker 2: a fight. And then they hit 150. They go from
- 22:23Speaker 2: zero to 150. Like, not everybody's like that, you know?
- 22:26Speaker 2: Mostly on the housewives, they are. But like, they just
- 22:29Speaker 2: have different dynamics. And this is something that I've never
- 22:34Speaker 2: been familiar with. I've never seen this. And good for them.
- 22:40Speaker 2: I'm happy that she got what she wanted. She was
- 22:42Speaker 2: very touched. And I'm glad that the world has cleared
- 22:46Speaker 2: Lisa on behalf of John getting up there. On the
- 22:51Speaker 2: stand and saying, I did it. You know, it was me,
- 22:54Speaker 2: not her.
- 22:56Speaker 4: I also think a lot of what we're seeing on
- 22:58Speaker 4: Ultimate Girls Trip with Lisa's problems with her cast is
- 23:01Speaker 4: a lot about how John was treating her also. Like,
- 23:06Speaker 4: anything that the girls said last season to her is
- 23:09Speaker 4: magnified times 10 because John was also having the other
- 23:13Speaker 4: side's back.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Right.
- 23:15Speaker 4: So everything, like, that came at her was worse because she...
- 23:19Speaker 4: didn't have John and he was also rooting against her.
- 23:21Speaker 4: So when we're seeing on ultimate girls trip, like she
- 23:25Speaker 4: won't talk to the cast, the Salt Lake gals, and
- 23:28Speaker 4: she's angry. And that's right out of the reunion. It's
- 23:31Speaker 4: still on the heels of like her and John having
- 23:33Speaker 4: these problems. So it's also like, we, we know that
- 23:37Speaker 4: that isn't that far. It was not that long ago.
- 23:41Speaker 4: And so it's weird to have John being like last
- 23:44Speaker 4: season or last year.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Yeah. A lot of like, I think it was four
- 23:50Speaker 3: months ago, but OK. Yeah.
- 23:53Speaker 2: The timeline actually is interesting because, you know, they film
- 23:59Speaker 2: in the wintertime, obviously, because there's always snow. Snow is
- 24:02Speaker 2: always going to be on the ground. There's always going
- 24:03Speaker 2: to be a chill in the air in Salt Lake City.
- 24:05Speaker 2: That's how we want them. But yeah, anyway, I did appreciate.
- 24:11Speaker 3: All of it.
- 24:11Speaker 2: I loved it. And I appreciate their relationship. It's just
- 24:16Speaker 2: unlike anything I've ever seen before. And so for whatever
- 24:19Speaker 2: that's worth, I love it. And I'm glad that Lisa
- 24:23Speaker 2: got what she needed out of John. And oh, by
- 24:26Speaker 2: the way, when she was talking in her confessional and
- 24:29Speaker 2: she was so upset, she said that when that scene happened,
- 24:35Speaker 2: that she didn't think anything of it, but then she
- 24:37Speaker 2: watched it back and was devastated, right? So like we
- 24:42Speaker 2: were saying, of course, it seemed that she took it
- 24:46Speaker 2: even harder because of probably what was happening on the
- 24:49Speaker 2: season and everybody coming against her, even so in that episode,
- 24:53Speaker 2: I would imagine, and then him reinforcing that. But her
- 24:57Speaker 2: calling him and saying, we're done, like it sounded like
- 25:02Speaker 2: She was like, I want a divorce. That's what it
- 25:05Speaker 2: sounded like. She called him and said, we're done. Did
- 25:07Speaker 2: you catch that?
- 25:08Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 25:10Speaker 2: We're done over that? Like that to me shook my brain.
- 25:17Speaker 2: We're done. And I think that's why he probably was
- 25:21Speaker 2: crying because it's like he realized he almost lost his
- 25:25Speaker 2: wife over that situation. That's how bad it was.
- 25:28Speaker 4: He talked to her like a fellow housewife. She's going
- 25:31Speaker 4: to talk back to him like a fellow housewife.
- 25:34Speaker 2: We're done.
- 25:35Speaker 3: We are done. Yeah.
- 25:37Speaker 2: That's a good point because she always leaves. She always leaves, right?
- 25:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:40Speaker 2: So that does make a lot of sense. I mean,
- 25:42Speaker 2: he truly is her rock.
- 25:44Speaker 3: I mean, like.
- 25:46Speaker 2: And that's what's tricky about these situations, you know? I mean,
- 25:49Speaker 2: I suppose that's what I respect about it. And when
- 25:51Speaker 2: I say I've never seen this before and whatever works
- 25:55Speaker 2: for people works.
- 25:57Speaker 6: So.
- 25:58Speaker 2: I'm just glad that they seem to have it figured
- 26:01Speaker 2: out and what works for them works for them. And
- 26:04Speaker 2: they've come to the other side of it. We know
- 26:06Speaker 2: that we're never going to see that scene again from
- 26:08Speaker 2: John or that kind of response.
- 26:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:13Speaker 2: By the way, Lisa loves a grilled cheese. I mean,
- 26:15Speaker 2: she made the grilled cheese. Then when she went to
- 26:17Speaker 2: the restaurant with Meredith, she went, grilled cheese.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Loves a grilled cheese. Yeah.
- 26:24Speaker 2: It makes sense because she loves the fast food. So
- 26:27Speaker 2: I suppose when you get home, the closest thing to
- 26:29Speaker 2: making homemade fast food is either like mac and cheese
- 26:32Speaker 2: or grilled cheese.
- 26:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Henry having like these girlfriends and– And then, wait, what's
- 26:44Speaker 2: her other son's name?
- 26:45Speaker 1: Jack.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 26:47Speaker 4: Jack has the girlfriends, which I'm like, is Bronwyn one
- 26:49Speaker 4: of the ladies? Bronwyn's daughter one.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Of the ladies? Is Bronwyn one of the ladies? Oh, God.
- 26:54Speaker 4: Remember Bronwyn's daughter and Jack are buddies? That's how Lisa knows.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 26:59Speaker 2: That's right.
- 27:01Speaker 3: And then Henry is like.
- 27:03Speaker 2: What do you mean Bronwyn? Is Bronwyn one of the.
- 27:06Speaker 3: Well, I mean, Bronwyn's out there single and ready to mingle.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Oh, because she's like, right. Brendan Good. Henry is 21, right?
- 27:16Speaker 3: Henry's the young one. Henry's the little brother. Jack is
- 27:20Speaker 3: the older brother.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Oh, I have them switched.
- 27:22Speaker 4: That's so funny. Because remember when.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Jack went away and Henry was so sad.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Yes.
- 27:28Speaker 2: So he's 21, right?
- 27:29Speaker 4: Okay. Yes.
- 27:31Speaker 2: I'll allow it. Big comment. I'll allow the comment to
- 27:33Speaker 2: stay in. Okay. I got a podcast to run. I
- 27:38Speaker 2: don't want to do that. Allegedly, in my opinion, a
- 27:43Speaker 2: joke comedy podcast. No, but I did love when Lisa
- 27:47Speaker 2: was like, Henry wants to be someone else's baby G. Oh, God,
- 27:54Speaker 2: that was so funny. And really great to see the boys.
- 27:59Speaker 2: You know, boy, they're growing up fast. Oh, my gosh.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Holy smokes.
- 28:05Speaker 4: Yep.
- 28:06Speaker 2: So anyway, can we talk about, so Meredith got a facelift.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Let's go with that first. And they showed the before
- 28:13Speaker 2: and after. And I have to say, I didn't notice
- 28:16Speaker 2: that much of a difference. I mean, I know that
- 28:18Speaker 2: she looks a little tighter around the edges and that
- 28:23Speaker 2: a little bit of the lip, the crooked lip, I'm
- 28:25Speaker 2: not sure which side it would be. It would be
- 28:27Speaker 2: her right side, I think. It's, you know, it's starting
- 28:29Speaker 2: to come out of the confines of the tightness just
- 28:32Speaker 2: a tiny bit. Like, so things are starting to loosen
- 28:34Speaker 2: up a little bit. But, I mean, she seemed like
- 28:37Speaker 2: she looked really good.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what you want with a facelift.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:42Speaker 3: You don't want people to be like, holy shit. Right.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Now, I will mention she has her hair, which looks
- 28:49Speaker 2: like a full wig this time. I don't know, but
- 28:52Speaker 2: it does. And it's really covering the sides. So, you know,
- 28:57Speaker 2: we might have some residual, you know, knots or stitches there.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Or scarring up in this area.
- 29:06Speaker 3: Yeah. Healing.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Of the jaw. Mm-hmm. And so therefore, I thought it
- 29:12Speaker 2: was very smart to have this hair coming down because
- 29:15Speaker 2: it only makes everything look, you know, better.
- 29:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:18Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think she looks great. And I
- 29:22Speaker 3: was like, good job, whoever did this.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Really, really nice job. And I thought, oh, my gosh. Like,
- 29:29Speaker 2: because she's had... Work done over the course of, since
- 29:33Speaker 2: we've known her. So to have a facelift is shocking.
- 29:38Speaker 2: I mean, we've all seen the housewives face. So that
- 29:41Speaker 2: concerned me. And I'm like, wow, she really got away
- 29:43Speaker 2: with it.
- 29:44Speaker 3: My money's on the lower face only. I think she
- 29:47Speaker 3: had it, the lower one.
- 29:50Speaker 2: Oh, that makes sense. Yes. That's why. Yeah.
- 29:54Speaker 4: Because that's where you see the change in there.
- 29:58Speaker 2: They usually say... I had a lower facelift because they
- 30:01Speaker 2: don't want to give credit where they didn't have it.
- 30:05Speaker 2: They want to be like, this is natural. You know,
- 30:07Speaker 2: they always want to say what they didn't do. They
- 30:10Speaker 2: want to minimize the work. And she didn't do that,
- 30:14Speaker 2: which is weird.
- 30:15Speaker 4: Yeah, she'll tell us at the reunion or on Watch
- 30:19Speaker 4: What Happens.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. She'll make it very, very clear. She's
- 30:22Speaker 2: probably already said it on Instagram somewhere, social media or whatever.
- 30:27Speaker 3: For sure.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Hey guys, so you know I've been talking about One
- 30:34Speaker 2: Skin for a while now and there's a reason because seriously,
- 30:37Speaker 2: this is the best endorsement I can give you at
- 30:39Speaker 2: this point. I use it every single day still. The
- 30:43Speaker 2: OS1 Face Topical Supplement. This is it. This is the one.
- 30:46Speaker 2: This is the one product I reach for every morning.
- 30:49Speaker 2: It's probably been about two years now. I mean, I
- 30:51Speaker 2: am hooked. I will never change, okay? I honestly feel
- 30:55Speaker 2: like it is the first moisturizer I've ever used that
- 30:58Speaker 2: understands my skin. You know, sometimes your skin is too dry.
- 31:01Speaker 2: So you try something that's like richer and like just
- 31:04Speaker 2: lopping it on. And then suddenly you're too oily.
- 31:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:07Speaker 2: And then you try something because your skin is too
- 31:10Speaker 2: oily and then you go in the other direction and
- 31:12Speaker 2: then your skin feels too dry. So anyway, I... Was
- 31:16Speaker 2: constantly trying to find that balance. Oh, and by the way,
- 31:18Speaker 2: did I mention I break out with any lotion? Just
- 31:22Speaker 2: any lotion, just breaking out left and right. But with
- 31:25Speaker 2: one skin, my skin feels just balanced. I don't break out.
- 31:29Speaker 2: It feels hydrated and healthy. And the longer I've used it,
- 31:32Speaker 2: the more I've noticed that overall radiance. Have you noticed
- 31:36Speaker 2: that I'm radiant?
- 31:37Speaker 3: I have.
- 31:38Speaker 2: And a visible softening of my fine lines. No, seriously,
- 31:41Speaker 2: that is true. That is not a joke. And that's
- 31:43Speaker 2: not just a script. That is my story. That is
- 31:46Speaker 2: my life journey with my skin. So about OneSkin. It's
- 31:50Speaker 2: not your typical skincare company. It was founded by four
- 31:53Speaker 2: PhD longevity scientists who studied aging at the cellular level. See,
- 31:58Speaker 2: what I've learned is it's all about the cellular level.
- 32:01Speaker 2: They discovered that some cells stop functioning the way they
- 32:04Speaker 2: should as we age and can actually affect cells. the
- 32:07Speaker 2: healthy cells around them. So instead of creating another product
- 32:11Speaker 2: that just addresses what we see on the surface, they
- 32:13Speaker 2: develop their propriety, the OS1 peptide, to work with the
- 32:17Speaker 2: biology of your skin and target those dysfunctional cells. That
- 32:22Speaker 2: is the part that fascinates me. I'm not just putting
- 32:24Speaker 2: on a moisturizer that makes my skin feel nice for
- 32:26Speaker 2: a few hours. I'm using something that came out of
- 32:28Speaker 2: more than a decade of longevity research. And over time,
- 32:32Speaker 2: I actually see a difference in my skin. I'm not
- 32:34Speaker 2: the only one. OneSkin's results are backed by four peer-reviewed
- 32:38Speaker 2: clinical studies, more than 10,000 five-star reviews, and they've been
- 32:44Speaker 2: recognized by Bloomberg and Fast Company as a leader in
- 32:47Speaker 2: skin longevity. For a limited time, try OneSkin with 15%

- 33:07Speaker 3: Thanks.
- 33:08Speaker 2: I love the idea of wearing a sports bra all day, right?
- 33:12Speaker 2: Just comfortable, supportive, everything contained. You can do what you're doing.
- 33:16Speaker 2: You can relax. And all of a sudden, oh, look,
- 33:18Speaker 2: I'm jogging. I'm walking. Oh, I'm laying down. And everything's great.
- 33:22Speaker 2: But you know what? Most sports bras are apparently designed
- 33:25Speaker 2: under the assumption that you're going to wear them for
- 33:27Speaker 2: 45 minutes, exercise like mad, and then immediately take them off. Well,
- 33:32Speaker 2: I don't like that. And try wearing one for eight
- 33:34Speaker 2: hours and then suddenly you're like, these straps are digging
- 33:37Speaker 2: into my shoulders. The band is squeezing my rib cage.
- 33:41Speaker 2: My boobs have somehow merged into one single boob. You know,
- 33:47Speaker 2: the uniboob? No one wants that. But you know what?
- 33:51Speaker 2: Honey love. Honey love. Their Cross Flex Activity Bra. This
- 33:56Speaker 2: is a sports bra. that's actually designed to be comfortable
- 33:59Speaker 2: enough for all day wear. It gives you the support
- 34:04Speaker 2: and coverage you want from a sports bra, but you
- 34:07Speaker 2: don't feel strapped into it. It's wireless. And Honeylove uses
- 34:10Speaker 2: something called CloudFuse. bonding to give you support without all
- 34:15Speaker 2: of those uncomfortable pressure points. And hallelujah, it has a
- 34:19Speaker 2: hook and eye back. No more wrestling your sweaty sports
- 34:23Speaker 2: bra over your heads and dislocating your shoulder like we
- 34:27Speaker 2: have for years. You know what I'm saying? You know
- 34:30Speaker 2: that moment when you're stuck halfway out of it and
- 34:32Speaker 2: you have to call for help? Yeah, that's me. Something
- 34:35Speaker 2: you can't unsee. You know what I mean? Anyway, the
- 34:38Speaker 2: best part about the CrossFlex is the shape. you get
- 34:42Speaker 2: actual separation. It looks good under clothes, so you can
- 34:45Speaker 2: put it on in the morning, wear it while you're
- 34:48Speaker 2: at work, go for a walk, run errands, and you
- 34:52Speaker 2: don't need to feel like you need to change your
- 34:53Speaker 2: bra halfway through the day. This is why I continue
- 34:56Speaker 2: to love Honeylove. They understand that women want support but
- 35:00Speaker 2: also want to be comfortable. And don't you just love it?

- 35:41Speaker 2: Let's talk about my razor journey. I did not expect
- 35:43Speaker 2: to become this excited about a razor, but Flamingo has
- 35:46Speaker 2: completely upgraded my shaving routine. Thanks, Flamingo. Such a cute name. Anyway.
- 35:52Speaker 2: I've used plenty of women's razors that felt flimsy, overpriced,
- 35:56Speaker 2: and somehow made something as basic as shaving feel like
- 36:00Speaker 2: a chore. I mean, it doesn't have to be that complicated.
- 36:02Speaker 2: You're trying to have a nice little everything shower, and
- 36:05Speaker 2: instead you're dealing with missed spots, redness, a razor that
- 36:07Speaker 2: feels like it's actively working against you. It's just, it's
- 36:11Speaker 2: too much. I don't need drama in my shower. I
- 36:14Speaker 2: just need it on TV, you know? Flamingo is different
- 36:17Speaker 2: because it was created with women's bodies actually in mind.
- 36:20Speaker 2: The women who helped build Harry's were tired of companies
- 36:23Speaker 2: simply shrinking a men's razor, making it pink, and charging
- 36:27Speaker 2: women more for it. So they created something thoughtful, comfortable,
- 36:31Speaker 2: and high-performing without the ridiculous pink tacks. The first thing
- 36:36Speaker 2: I noticed was how substantial the Flamingo original razor feels
- 36:39Speaker 2: in my hand. It has a weighted, ergonomic handle, five
- 36:43Speaker 2: sharp blades, and a flexible hinge that moves with all

- 38:16Speaker 2: So Bronwyn and, sorry, I want to go back to
- 38:20Speaker 2: the Meredith and Lisa grilled cheese dinner. And they're talking about,
- 38:25Speaker 2: you know, it's nice to see that they are still
- 38:28Speaker 2: allies and they're against Whitney together. So that's fun. And
- 38:33Speaker 2: Meredith says in her confessional that Whitney told her truth
- 38:37Speaker 2: that she hates me and she hates Lisa too. And
- 38:40Speaker 2: then Lisa's like, She's a clown. That's clown behavior.
- 38:47Speaker 3: Do you remember that drag brunch, though? We talked about it. Yes.
- 38:50Speaker 2: Because it was in the news.
- 38:52Speaker 3: Yes. Like our news.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Our, yeah. Hard-hitting news.
- 38:59Speaker 3: I totally remember that. And I think also at BravoCon,
- 39:03Speaker 3: Whitney was like a little.
- 39:05Speaker 2: She was tipsy all over the place.
- 39:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:07Speaker 2: And in this episode, didn't she say that she's been
- 39:11Speaker 2: leaning on drinking as a coping mechanism for things that
- 39:14Speaker 2: are happening at home. Because not only is she like
- 39:16Speaker 2: social drinking, it sounded like she was drinking to cope
- 39:20Speaker 2: in the privacy of her own, you know, stripper pole.
- 39:25Speaker 4: And I.
- 39:26Speaker 3: Just the privacy of my own stripper pole. I.
- 39:30Speaker 4: thought that there was something about the way she said
- 39:33Speaker 4: that where I was like, okay, Whitney's going to deal
- 39:36Speaker 4: with this. Maybe she's going to take a pause. And I'm,
- 39:39Speaker 4: as a viewer, going to be okay with that. And
- 39:42Speaker 4: if she decides to drink at some point, that's totally fine.
- 39:46Speaker 4: It felt so different from like Danny on the Valley
- 39:51Speaker 4: or like now I'm kind of used to Shannon drinking again,
- 39:55Speaker 4: but everybody's like alcohol journey on reality TV. I take
- 39:59Speaker 4: such a hard stance on like, I'm so, I'm so
- 40:02Speaker 4: like you either can drink or you can't.
- 40:05Speaker 3: And then something about Whitney's saying that I was.
- 40:09Speaker 4: Like, I'm going to just be more gracious about this.
- 40:13Speaker 4: I think because I, the way she said it, I
- 40:15Speaker 4: was like, okay, I get it.
- 40:18Speaker 3: I get it. Like, I don't know. Yeah.
- 40:20Speaker 2: I mean, it's a gray area. Not everybody's journey is
- 40:23Speaker 2: the same. So the only thing that concerns me is
- 40:27Speaker 2: that alcoholism runs in her family. And so that's a
- 40:30Speaker 2: tricky thing to mess with. I mean, at least to
- 40:33Speaker 2: test the boundaries of. But she seems to be at
- 40:36Speaker 2: least aware right now. And I think the BravoCon thing
- 40:40Speaker 2: was a awakening. It was kind of like a mini
- 40:45Speaker 2: intervention where it was talked about in the news. Even
- 40:49Speaker 2: Andy Cohen was like, you're about to fall off the stage.
- 40:52Speaker 4: Yes.
- 40:53Speaker 2: You know, it was a whole thing. And though even
- 40:55Speaker 2: though we're watching and we're all like, oh, my God,
- 40:57Speaker 2: Whitney was so drunk. She almost fell off the stage.
- 40:59Speaker 2: Look how kooky and like blah, blah, blah. But it's
- 41:02Speaker 2: more than that. I mean, you're on stage during a
- 41:05Speaker 2: panel and you're absolutely obliterated, probably blackout drunk. And you
- 41:09Speaker 2: are physically inebriated to the point where you could have
- 41:12Speaker 2: actually fallen off the stage already. So that's really bad,
- 41:17Speaker 2: you know. Yeah. And at a.
- 41:19Speaker 4: Minimum, you've lost the argument with Meredith or whoever you
- 41:23Speaker 4: have a hard stance with. Even if you have all
- 41:25Speaker 4: the receipts proof timeline, if you have all that at
- 41:27Speaker 4: a minimum, you immediately lose the argument. Right.
- 41:30Speaker 3: At the maximum. Oh, sky's the limit.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Yeah. And we know that. She and Justin's marriage is,
- 41:37Speaker 2: you know, falling apart. It's falling on hard times, I
- 41:39Speaker 2: will say, you know.
- 41:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:42Speaker 4: The scene for next week is like, he's like, okay,
- 41:45Speaker 4: I'm going to the gym. And then she's like talking
- 41:48Speaker 4: to him and laying it out. And he's like, okay,
- 41:51Speaker 4: all right, I'm going.
- 41:52Speaker 3: To go get that workout in. Like, all right, you
- 41:55Speaker 3: do you, buddy.
- 41:56Speaker 4: I know.
- 41:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 41:59Speaker 2: He's like, he's over filming, you know. he's over it
- 42:03Speaker 2: and he's like yeah we already talked about this so
- 42:05Speaker 2: whatever you want to say to the camera is fine
- 42:07Speaker 2: by me I'm doing my own thing yeah so I
- 42:14Speaker 2: just as you get older you know and you have
- 42:17Speaker 2: a crutch that's been kind of lingering there and you
- 42:22Speaker 2: start to lean into it more and you have potentially
- 42:26Speaker 2: the chemistry for that to go wrong that's very scary
- 42:31Speaker 2: yeah I agree.
- 42:32Speaker 3: I agree.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Anyway, but Whitney and Bronwyn, who are playing paddle tennis.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Is that what it's called?
- 42:40Speaker 4: I forget.
- 42:41Speaker 2: Pickleball? Whatever the fuck it's called. I forgot what it
- 42:45Speaker 2: was called.
- 42:46Speaker 3: Okay.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Okay.
- 42:49Speaker 4: Amy is so young and hip. She doesn't know what
- 42:52Speaker 4: the boomers are out there doing. Meanwhile, it's all young
- 42:55Speaker 4: and hip people too out there.
- 42:57Speaker 3: I know. I know it's called pickleball.
- 42:58Speaker 2: I got to get into this. But I will never
- 43:01Speaker 2: call it that because to me, it's like paddle tennis.
- 43:05Speaker 2: It's always going to be paddle tennis because I feel
- 43:08Speaker 2: like that has always existed. You're a tennis player.
- 43:11Speaker 1: Yes.
- 43:12Speaker 2: So then it's like– then you've got– yeah, anyway, whatever.
- 43:17Speaker 2: So– And I've never played, by the way, pickleball for
- 43:22Speaker 2: all you guys who love it so much. But it
- 43:25Speaker 2: does look fun. It looks pickle nation. I mean, it's
- 43:28Speaker 2: like for you. No, it looks great. It's it's ping
- 43:33Speaker 2: pong on your, you know, in a bigger way. And
- 43:35Speaker 2: it's I think it's great. I love it. I think
- 43:37Speaker 2: it's wonderful.
- 43:37Speaker 3: Here's the thing that I keep going back to.
- 43:39Speaker 4: I know I was talking about like smoking the other
- 43:42Speaker 4: day because you get to talk to people and hang out,
- 43:45Speaker 4: but you.
- 43:47Speaker 3: Don't start smoking.
- 43:48Speaker 4: But pickleball is- Start drinking. Please start drinking and playing pickleball.
- 43:52Speaker 4: Because I cannot believe the way that it unites a community.
- 43:55Speaker 4: Because you can just go out and play pickleball anytime
- 43:59Speaker 4: and meet new people. People are always playing and looking
- 44:01Speaker 4: to play. And there's apps so you can just like,
- 44:04Speaker 4: where's the court right now? Going to go play, pick
- 44:06Speaker 4: up a game. I mean, in the middle of nowhere,
- 44:08Speaker 4: New Hampshire. I'm talking about like.
- 44:12Speaker 2: Where you summer.
- 44:13Speaker 3: Four hours. Yes, where I summer.
- 44:15Speaker 4: Yes. There's a pickleball app and people ready to play pickleball,
- 44:19Speaker 4: like the locals. There's like three ladies that are like,
- 44:22Speaker 4: we're ready to go.
- 44:24Speaker 3: We need a fourth.
- 44:25Speaker 2: I love that.
- 44:26Speaker 3: I love it.
- 44:27Speaker 2: And, you know, they've turned so many tennis courts into,
- 44:32Speaker 2: I'm calling it, you know what, I'm just going back
- 44:33Speaker 2: to paddleball because I don't fucking care what you fucking
- 44:36Speaker 2: pickleheads are doing, okay? You're using a paddle and you're
- 44:40Speaker 2: hitting the ball. You can shove your little pickles off
- 44:42Speaker 2: your fucking pickleball ass.
- 44:43Speaker 6: Wow.
- 44:45Speaker 3: Wow, look at John Barlow over here to use Lisa
- 44:49Speaker 3: Barlow pickleheads. They're going to let you know about it.
- 44:53Speaker 3: You're going to have to apologize next season.
- 44:55Speaker 2: I'm not apologizing. I will never apologize. I love the
- 45:00Speaker 2: sport or the hobby. You can call it whatever you want. Okay,
- 45:05Speaker 2: so anyway, they've turned so many tennis courts into these
- 45:09Speaker 2: paddle ball courts. And that stings a little. That stings
- 45:14Speaker 2: a little for me. Because I've been affected by that.
- 45:18Speaker 2: I show up, I want to play tennis, and it's like, oh,
- 45:21Speaker 2: there's a paddle ball court, okay? And I can't. I
- 45:25Speaker 2: can't play tennis on that paddle ball court because it's
- 45:28Speaker 2: a tiny little dollhouse court.
- 45:30Speaker 3: The disrespect.
- 45:38Speaker 2: And I'm showing up, you know, I'm trying to hit
- 45:41Speaker 2: my balls. And I can't because, you know, JoJo and
- 45:46Speaker 2: the and the and the pickles are over there looking
- 45:49Speaker 2: for their fourth favorite band.
- 45:51Speaker 4: It's a great band. It's all pickleball songs. But I
- 45:55Speaker 4: think you get tired of it.
- 45:56Speaker 3: I don't. I love it.
- 46:00Speaker 2: It's like yacht rock, but it's like pickle yacht. Pickleball. No,
- 46:04Speaker 2: pickleball rock. Did I say pickle yacht? Now we're really
- 46:08Speaker 2: marrying the two. How is there not a pickleball court
- 46:11Speaker 2: on these super yachts by now? Hey, that'll take away
- 46:16Speaker 2: from the water toys. We don't want that.
- 46:18Speaker 6: All right?
- 46:18Speaker 2: I have an idea. We put the pickleball court in
- 46:22Speaker 2: the water. Okay?
- 46:23Speaker 3: Yeah. A pickleball water toy.
- 46:25Speaker 2: Toy. That being said, I wouldn't mind being invited to
- 46:32Speaker 2: your paddle ball up here in Santa Clarita.
- 46:35Speaker 3: Well, there aren't any. There aren't any paddle balls. Maybe
- 46:40Speaker 3: you should use the name of the game, Amy, if.
- 46:42Speaker 2: You want to be invited. I downloaded paddle ball app
- 46:47Speaker 2: and no one's responding to me.
- 46:49Speaker 3: Is there something wrong? No, you keep refreshing that app.
- 46:53Speaker 3: You keep putting it out there.
- 46:56Speaker 4: Make sure your notifications are turned on. I'm sure somebody's
- 46:59Speaker 4: going to respond to paddle ball.
- 47:01Speaker 2: I also have over on racquetball app. So if anyone
- 47:04Speaker 2: wants to hit me up there. i'm available for racquetball
- 47:11Speaker 2: because i've um i've time i've done a time jump
- 47:14Speaker 2: back to the 80s and that's where i live okay
- 47:18Speaker 2: i got some.
- 47:19Speaker 6: Tight shorts and a rubber hard rubber ball and and
- 47:24Speaker 6: lawn darts you're on that lawn dart app so you've
- 47:29Speaker 6: got a lot to look forward to.
- 47:31Speaker 2: Hey listen anybody like bocce ball.
- 47:35Speaker 3: So many apps.
- 47:36Speaker 2: What happened? Oh, it's just called the 80s sports app.
- 47:40Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 47:40Speaker 2: And then under it are the different umbrellas, you know. So,
- 47:47Speaker 2: but hit me up and invite me because I've never
- 47:50Speaker 2: played and it looks fun.
- 47:53Speaker 3: Okay?
- 47:55Speaker 2: Okay. Also, if you play tennis and you're in Santa Clarita,
- 47:59Speaker 2: I'd also enjoy to play tennis with you. Okay.
- 48:03Speaker 3: Okay. There we go.
- 48:04Speaker 2: And if we show up to the courts and there's
- 48:08Speaker 2: a pickleball court that's open and all the tennis courts
- 48:12Speaker 2: are taken, I'm going to say, see?
- 48:13Speaker 3: See? Well, we'll be ready for that. We'll be ready
- 48:20Speaker 3: for that notification.
- 48:24Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I'll post it on the 80s sports app.
- 48:26Speaker 2: You'll see it.
- 48:26Speaker 3: What happened?
- 48:29Speaker 4: I'll tell you what happened. Amy showed up and the
- 48:31Speaker 4: court was a pickleball. And she was there to play
- 48:35Speaker 4: paddle ball.
- 48:39Speaker 2: So there's like in Santa Clarita, they have all these
- 48:41Speaker 2: like little communities. I'm sure you guys are familiar. They
- 48:43Speaker 2: have their HOAs and they've got their pools and their
- 48:48Speaker 2: courts and stuff like that. I mean, they don't all
- 48:50Speaker 2: have the courts, but all of them have the pools. Anyway,
- 48:55Speaker 2: so all of these courts have been turned into paddle
- 48:59Speaker 2: ball courts. Yeah. And if I lived in one of
- 49:05Speaker 2: those communities, oh, now I've got to tell you something.
- 49:10Speaker 3: There'd be hell to tell. Well, I'll tell you. There
- 49:11Speaker 3: would be.
- 49:12Speaker 4: And there is because, by the way, pickleball is loud
- 49:14Speaker 4: as shit compared to tennis.
- 49:16Speaker 3: And a lot of HOAs are bothered by that. But also, side.
- 49:21Speaker 4: Note, get on Swimply because you can rent somebody's pool
- 49:26Speaker 4: and you can also rent their tennis court or their
- 49:28Speaker 4: pickleball court, private courts.
- 49:31Speaker 2: Swimly? Oh, that's fun.
- 49:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:34Speaker 3: So that is an app. Liar. I swear.
- 49:39Speaker 2: I'm just kidding. I totally believe you. I think you've
- 49:41Speaker 2: even mentioned it before.
- 49:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I have. Probably when we were playing pickleball in Potomac.
- 49:50Speaker 3: When Potomac played pickleball. Yes, I think I did then.
- 49:54Speaker 2: Very good. Well, that's a wrap. And this is how
- 50:01Speaker 2: we celebrate the premiere of Salt Lake City.
- 50:04Speaker 4: Didn't you think it was interesting that Bronwyn... was uncomfortable
- 50:08Speaker 4: having the comp filming with Whitney.
- 50:11Speaker 3: And she's like, it's, we were yelling. We were talking so.
- 50:14Speaker 4: Loud about the date who Bronwyn was dating and Todd
- 50:19Speaker 4: and stuff.
- 50:19Speaker 3: She's like, Oh good.
- 50:20Speaker 4: I'm glad we came inside because we were yelling across
- 50:23Speaker 4: those courts.
- 50:24Speaker 2: Yes. But you got to understand that she doesn't get that.
- 50:27Speaker 2: Those courts are so tiny that no one heard. Cause
- 50:31Speaker 2: it wasn't really yelling. I just couldn't believe she was sensitive. Now,
- 50:36Speaker 2: if you were on a tennis court, then people would
- 50:40Speaker 2: have heard because you really have to yell. You got
- 50:43Speaker 2: to add on a couple yards. Get your yardsticks out
- 50:47Speaker 2: and measure. Another thing from the 80s. Who has a
- 50:51Speaker 2: yardstick these days? No one. No one.
- 50:56Speaker 3: No one. Not one stick in that yard.
- 50:59Speaker 2: You know, speaking of two weapons from the 80s, a
- 51:04Speaker 2: yardstick and a paddle. a paddle, a paddle, just a
- 51:08Speaker 2: general paddle, right? Things that you get spankings from. Yes.
- 51:13Speaker 2: What are things that you get spankings.
- 51:15Speaker 3: From in the 80s?
- 51:20Speaker 2: My daughter calls them spankings. She's like, she literally calls
- 51:24Speaker 2: them spankings. I've told you this before.
- 51:26Speaker 4: I love it.
- 51:27Speaker 2: She's like, mom, what you, because we've told her like
- 51:31Speaker 2: a long time ago, we're like, you know, back in
- 51:33Speaker 2: my day, we used to get spankings. So, and she's like,
- 51:36Speaker 2: what are spankings? And so we had to explain like
- 51:38Speaker 2: when you get in trouble and you know, you're, you're being,
- 51:43Speaker 2: you're being, what's the word I'm looking for? Disciplined. God.
- 51:47Speaker 2: You're being disciplined. And then you're, one of your parents
- 51:51Speaker 2: would get out something, either their hand or in my case,
- 51:55Speaker 2: a paddle.
- 51:58Speaker 3: That's where this all comes from. This is where it
- 52:01Speaker 3: This is where it lands. This is your animosity for pickleball. Okay.
- 52:04Speaker 3: Go ahead. This is what it is.
- 52:07Speaker 2: This is my therapy session.
- 52:11Speaker 3: I refuse to have fun with this thing. My brutalizer.
- 52:15Speaker 2: You're right. I think that's what it is.
- 52:19Speaker 3: Could be.
- 52:20Speaker 2: The trauma. Now, I only got it a couple times.
- 52:23Speaker 2: I remember every single time.
- 52:25Speaker 3: But anyway....
- 52:27Speaker 2: So, yeah, and so when we told Maddie that, she's like, wow,
- 52:30Speaker 2: that's not nice. I'm like, yeah, you know, it was
- 52:33Speaker 2: hard back in those days. And Mimi and Poppy's parents–
- 52:37Speaker 2: or Mimi and Poppy used to go to school with nuns,
- 52:39Speaker 2: and they'd just slap their hands with a yardstick. And
- 52:42Speaker 2: she's like, what? She's like, you know, devastated. I'm like, yeah.
- 52:46Speaker 2: So clean up your room, okay? She's like, uh-huh. But
- 52:51Speaker 2: now every once in a while she'll be like, oh, man,
- 52:55Speaker 2: if that was when you were a little– you would
- 52:58Speaker 2: have gotten a spanking. All right. We got to get
- 53:06Speaker 2: back to Salt Lake City. You guys, I'm sorry. All right.
- 53:09Speaker 3: We went on a little trip, wouldn't you say? We
- 53:14Speaker 3: went on a trip.
- 53:15Speaker 2: Okay. What do you think about this motorcycle Brooks? No,
- 53:21Speaker 2: I'm kidding. When I saw his picture, though, on social
- 53:24Speaker 2: media- It was like, Heather has a new man. I
- 53:27Speaker 2: was like, it was a jump scare that it was Brooks.
- 53:29Speaker 2: But now I'm like, oh, they have a history. So
- 53:32Speaker 2: they dated before she was a housewife. And this is
- 53:36Speaker 2: where I get, this is where we've been in this
- 53:38Speaker 2: situation before. I'm not going to be able to retrieve
- 53:42Speaker 2: the information from my brain. It's in archived cold storage,
- 53:46Speaker 2: but I always feel, oh no, I got it. It's Brittany's,
- 53:51Speaker 2: it's Brandon. I was like, oh, well, he knew her,
- 53:54Speaker 2: like they dated before she was on Bravo. So this
- 53:57Speaker 2: is more of a safe space. He might not be
- 53:59Speaker 2: an opportunist. And so when I look at Heather and
- 54:02Speaker 2: we have this guy, they dated, obviously red flag, he
- 54:05Speaker 2: was like, you know, cheating on her or whatever, but
- 54:09Speaker 2: cut to like 20 years later or however long it's been.
- 54:13Speaker 3: 10, 10.
- 54:14Speaker 2: Okay.
- 54:16Speaker 3: That's my bad.
- 54:17Speaker 2: My bad.
- 54:18Speaker 3: Sorry. There's math involved.
- 54:23Speaker 2: I'm so sorry.
- 54:25Speaker 3: Let's say 20. No, let's go with that. Let's go
- 54:27Speaker 3: with that.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Everything's 20 years for me.
- 54:29Speaker 3: I don't want to. You're right. You're right.
- 54:31Speaker 4: I'm a malicious, despicable person.
- 54:38Speaker 2: I was like, okay, okay, that's good. We've heard now
- 54:41Speaker 2: the backstory. So I am a little bit more accepting
- 54:46Speaker 2: of it. And then I saw the motorcycle helmet that's
- 54:50Speaker 2: a personalized motorcycle helmet. Very happy for her. I'm very
- 54:54Speaker 2: happy for her. I'm just worried. You know, I don't
- 54:57Speaker 2: want her to get her heart broken. And when she's like,
- 55:00Speaker 2: until he breaks my heart in the confessional, I'm like,
- 55:02Speaker 2: don't say that. Oh. What do you think, Emily? Let's
- 55:07Speaker 2: just get our bearings here because where.
- 55:09Speaker 3: Are we at? I liked his reveal.
- 55:11Speaker 4: At first I was like, do we know this person?
- 55:13Speaker 4: Because he was getting the reveal like, guess who's back?
- 55:15Speaker 3: Oh, right. Guess who you're not going to believe is
- 55:17Speaker 3: Coach Shaw. Who's that guy?
- 55:19Speaker 2: Where did he come from? Coach Shaw.
- 55:22Speaker 3: Coach Shaw. Oh, my God.
- 55:25Speaker 2: And he's a cyclist now and plays paddle ball. So, yeah,
- 55:31Speaker 2: but he's Michael from Grease 2.
- 55:37Speaker 4: I feel like Heather is doing this right when she's like,
- 55:41Speaker 4: until he breaks my heart. Because I think if we
- 55:45Speaker 4: saw Heather going a thousand miles an hour into this,
- 55:48Speaker 4: a la Vicky or others that we have seen be like,
- 55:52Speaker 4: I love the love bombing. We would be like, slow down.
- 55:57Speaker 4: The fact that she's like, he leaves after we banged.
- 56:00Speaker 3: I was like, good.
- 56:01Speaker 4: Because she has said so many times how much she
- 56:04Speaker 4: loves the new freedom of her space and being alone
- 56:08Speaker 4: in the house. And so that is like a unique
- 56:12Speaker 4: thing that I am like, good for you, Heather. We
- 56:16Speaker 4: don't see that often in housewives.
- 56:17Speaker 2: And we don't see Emily saying good for you, housewife,
- 56:21Speaker 2: very often either. I'm kidding. She says it all the time.
- 56:23Speaker 2: She's very female forward, very positive.
- 56:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 56:28Speaker 4: But I am like, hey, I'm glad that you're saying
- 56:32Speaker 4: he might break your heart as well because then we're
- 56:34Speaker 4: not all like, but she's being real about this. To me,
- 56:39Speaker 4: if she's telling us that, then she's going slow.
- 56:43Speaker 3: Oh, boy.
- 56:46Speaker 2: When she says that to me, the way I take
- 56:48Speaker 2: that as a tennis player, I take it as you
- 56:54Speaker 2: don't fully trust this guy and you know that he's
- 56:57Speaker 2: going to break your heart.
- 56:58Speaker 3: Just find out your little whore is here. And that's OK.
- 57:03Speaker 2: What?
- 57:04Speaker 4: I think it's OK because like she's not getting married.
- 57:08Speaker 4: She's not like slow rolling in engagement. She's I mean,
- 57:12Speaker 4: she's like, I really, really like him. And let's just
- 57:17Speaker 4: see where this goes. I'm willing to be vulnerable enough
- 57:20Speaker 4: to say my heart could get broken. But I but
- 57:24Speaker 4: I'm also like we're we're taking it slow.
- 57:27Speaker 3: I think it's OK. There are red flags because like
- 57:32Speaker 3: the texting thing is. Yeah.
- 57:34Speaker 2: But, you know, and also that was a long time ago.
- 57:37Speaker 2: It was 25 years ago, you know.
- 57:39Speaker 3: Wow. So when you say people change.
- 57:43Speaker 2: People change and they grow. I mean, Heather's changed. I mean,
- 57:48Speaker 2: a lot has changed for her.
- 57:49Speaker 3: What is what has changed about Heather? Name one thing
- 57:52Speaker 3: that is no longer.
- 57:54Speaker 2: Well, I'll tell you, she does not like regular coffee anymore.
- 57:59Speaker 2: That's the only thing.
- 58:00Speaker 3: Oh, we did read that.
- 58:02Speaker 4: She likes to put some extravagant creamers in her coffee.
- 58:06Speaker 2: She looks the same. She is still Mormon. She's still married.
- 58:12Speaker 2: She lives in the same house. She has the same
- 58:14Speaker 2: mattress from her wedding.
- 58:16Speaker 3: Yeah, actually, yes.
- 58:22Speaker 2: No, but like she's living her best life, you know, obviously.
- 58:25Speaker 2: I want the best for Heather. And I am very
- 58:28Speaker 2: excited about this. I've been waiting. I've been wanting her
- 58:32Speaker 2: to have somebody come and sweep her off her feet.
- 58:36Speaker 2: And I like the fact that they have a history
- 58:38Speaker 2: and they can kind of pick up. I think it's great.
- 58:43Speaker 2: I'm just a little bit worried because he slicks his
- 58:46Speaker 2: hair back. And that says to me, I don't know
- 58:48Speaker 2: if I fully trust you.
- 58:51Speaker 3: He's also a former Mormon. So in terms of like.
- 58:56Speaker 2: He's a former Mormon.
- 58:57Speaker 3: Former Mormon. So look at what we're dealing with on
- 59:04Speaker 3: Secret Lives.
- 59:05Speaker 2: Yes.
- 59:06Speaker 3: And just like if, you know, yeah. that's what we're
- 59:10Speaker 3: dealing with.
- 59:11Speaker 2: Well, that's scary. She's like, he's a very, very bad, nasty, nasty,
- 59:15Speaker 2: nasty non-Mormon. We're bad non-Mormons. We're bad Mormons together. Ooh,
- 59:22Speaker 2: that'll be her next book.
- 59:26Speaker 3: Bad Mormons Together. Bad Mormons Together. That's their podcast. Move over,
- 59:30Speaker 3: Seth and Meredith.
- 59:32Speaker 2: Okay. We're not really doing it anymore anyway, so.
- 59:40Speaker 3: We'll scooch over.
- 59:43Speaker 4: Speaking of, when Muzzy, I just thought of her telling
- 59:48Speaker 4: Bronwyn to move over in the double wide chair or whatever.
- 59:52Speaker 3: It was like, not a couch, but it was like.
- 59:54Speaker 2: Some call it a love.
- 59:55Speaker 3: Seat, but yeah.
- 59:56Speaker 2: It's like an oversized chair.
- 59:58Speaker 3: In her paddle chair.
- 59:59Speaker 2: Yeah, her paddle chair. Some call it a pickleball chair.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: You probably sit in that chair and play pickleball and
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: you don't have to do much.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: Muzzy got her notes. You know what I mean? She
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: was like, whatever you want to do, I want for you, Bronwyn.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: She's like, she came over and Bronwyn's like, oh, are
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: you coming over? Oh, wow.
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: I said, I don't know who you, okay. You're touching
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: my leg.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: I'm wow.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: And she's like, so emotional support, physical touch on your knee. Bronwyn,
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: it is your fall. You're doing great. You did all
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: of this to destroy your... Finally finding your... You will
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: find yourself in hell helping others die. To do what
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: you need to do, not do this in your life.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: I'm really proud of you.
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: And she tried to, like, whatever she was feeling, she
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: put on Bronwyn's daughter.
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: Well, I don't know if she's so happy about this.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: It's got to go somewhere. You know what I'm saying?
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: If you exterminate a ghost from your house, it's going
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: to go to somewhere else, you know? It's going to
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: go into someone else.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I appreciated it. Because, you know, I love it.
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: It's like we're getting the season two version of some,
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: you know, the house husbands always get it in check
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: in season two.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: Muzzy's like season two house husband right now. Great job, Bronwyn.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: You fucking burned it all down. I love it. I know.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: She's like, well, I mean, I've been traveling everywhere. I'm
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: running from my problems. And Todd is an idiot. He
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: might come in and he might not. I told him
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: not to. He said, my buzzy is going to, I
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: haven't seen my daughter in five, six months and now
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: my buzzy is going to get packing. So I sold
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: my house. They say not to do that.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: I love this for you, daughter.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: Wise choices. I'm going to buy a house for my
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: daughter and her boyfriend to live in by themselves and
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: I will sit in a hammock in the back and
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: travel the world. And then I saw like, there was
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: some news today that came out that like, The guy
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: she's seeing now, which it's not, is it Brandon? God,
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: there's so many Brandons in this world.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: I don't think they're together anymore.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: No, they're not. That's what I'm saying. This new guy
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: who is apparently married and has a child or something.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: That's the alleged rumor on the street.
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: Rumors on the nastiness.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: It's fucking disgusting. I don't know.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: So what happened there? But anywho. No, but this is crazy.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: So she's got this guy who, you know, everybody's going
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: to need this kind of bounce back into society and relationships.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: So good for her. I remember seeing pictures of she
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: and Brandon all over the internet bouncing from here to
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: there and she was living her best life. So good
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: for her, you know?
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: But I didn't expect that she was talking to Todd
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: still and that they were like still trying to work
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: out something. I did not quite catch that because I
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: thought they were completely done. And the way that I
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: saw this scene was, I guess I saw it as,
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: are you trying to figure out how to stay together?
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: Did you see it like that?
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that, I think it's hard for us
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: as an audience to believe that Bronwyn and Todd were
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: an actual couple.
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: Oh, you believe it? You believe that they loved each
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: other very much? I still don't.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: Well, there was a time when I Had fondness for him,
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: and I said, this guy is really nice, and I
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: called that love.
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: Well, I know, Bronwyn, we're just having a hard time
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: getting our heads around it still.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: Happened to be convenient to marry him when I didn't
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: have anywhere to go.
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: But he was an asshole to you. He was so.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: Well, I was willing to put up with that because
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: I needed somewhere to stay. No, she was lost. She
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: was lost.
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: No.
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: And I think that they, yeah, I think that there
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: was a lot going on there. So I, I need
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: to be reminded that there was a real love there
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: and that, yeah, I can see them like taking some
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: time and then immediately realizing it's no good.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: And then. Right. I, I very much see this relationship
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: as an Erica and Tom. I mean, it's, there is
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: a love there. I don't doubt that for one second.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: Is it more of a fatherly love? Maybe. Yeah. You know,
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: is it somebody who can take care of you and
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: really love you and give you the things that you
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: never had? I mean, she clearly came from a very
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: traumatic upbringing and was treated horrifically.
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: And abandoned by her family.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: Abandoned, neglected. No. And then all under the name of Mormonism, right?
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: I mean, it's just like, No wonder. I mean, gratefully,
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: she landed somewhere that had some stability and had a
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: home to go to and was able to raise her
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: child with someone who was somewhat stable. Obviously, the repercussions
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: of that were that he is who he is, and
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: she lost herself along the way, clearly. So that's her journey.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: I think it can be common for many people who
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: Maybe there's an age difference that that seems like a
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: common theme and it's not all negative. Like I don't
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: judge her for that, you know, at all. I think
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: that people need what they need when they need it.
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: And now, and same with him. So now he's outgrown
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: the relationship. She's outgrown the relationship. She's also outgrown the
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: fact that like she was willing to be loyal and
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: dedicated to him probably until the end of time. And
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: so he's fucking around on her, right? And she's like,
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: I'm not even doing that. And look at me. Like,
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: you don't think that anybody wants this? So, like, he's
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: going off and doing all this stuff and she's putting
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: up with it. And so, you know, she said a
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: lot of really, I thought, enlightening things, which is that,
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: you know, she became so small that he didn't even
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: see her anymore. And that is just, it speaks volumes
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: about so many relationships. And I like that she's getting...
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: her groove back in a very chaotic room. I don't
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: know where we were, if we were in a hallway,
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: a foyer, a guest room.
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: But we never knew in that house. We never knew.
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: It's a fun house with stuff and dog shit in places.
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, what's happening with all those House of
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: Cards dogs?
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: Remember, they had like 10 dogs all named after the
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: characters in the House of Cards. Oh, right.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: The House of Cards dogs.
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: I forgot they were called that.
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: Where are they?
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: The House of Cards dogs.
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: Oh, gosh. I didn't even think about that.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: I guess Kyle. Muzzy's taking care of them.
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: No, Kyle. Muzzy. Shipping down the house.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: I gotta get these dogs over here. So cute. Get
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: down from their House of Cards dogs. kyle would take
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: him she totally would she's got room.
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: Yeah kyle's house by the way like you're so right
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: about bronwyn's because like yeah kyle's house makes so much
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: sense as soon as we hit the door at bronwyn's
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: i'm like what is going on same with angie's.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: House and and lisa barlow's house i don't know if
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: we're in a walk-in cold freezer like i don't you
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: know i don't know.
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: What's happening yeah yeah yeah it's a weird decor utah
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: it's utah.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: But it's just these houses because secret lives houses make
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: sense to.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: Me they do i don't i don't remember clocking any
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: of those either i feel like they're on the same
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: level but they're just smaller.
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: No they just like they look like they're renting houses.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: Oh right they look like they're renting too yes.
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: Yeah but angie's house is always on the face of
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: the sun And I'm not sure if we're in the
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: lobby of like a skyscraper.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: Oh, heaven.
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: I don't know. Yes.
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: And then like, yeah, Lisa's is wild. And I don't
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: even understand. It's like some cuckoo, like Beetlejuice house that
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: Bronwyn is in.
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: Beetlejuice, that's perfect.
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: And again, I know I've said it before, but it's like,
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: or Ruthless People. Like, I don't know what we're, it's
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: like wild.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: Yeah. So I'm, I'm kind of like, um, I'm up
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: for it though. Oh yeah.
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: I'm fully into it because the, once you get these
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: cookie cutter asshole houses that all look the same, you know,
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: I'm so sick of it. I'm sick of it. Just
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: like you get It's your.
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: Cookie cutter asshole and your cookie cutter asshole house.
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: Your fucking paddle board. Now it's paddle board. Your paddle
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: board court. Your shuffle board court. Oh, I used to
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: love shuffle board. Oh. Shout out Grosse Pointe Farms Pier
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: Park shuffle board courts. Anywho. Yeah. Don't pretend like you're impressed.
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: I know you're making fun of me.
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: Was I pretending to be impressed? I didn't even realize.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: You were making fun of me.
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: I don't like it. I was.
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: I'm calling Todd.
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: Which one?
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: Yeah, well, Todd, who I'm having an affair with. Bronwyn's Todd.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: I've been texting him. He's on a plane right now.
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: Great. It'll be on other Todd's divorce reality show in Atlanta.
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: Yeah, totally.
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: The Todd's get divorced.
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: All the Todd's should go on Todd's show. Yeah.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: Alexia's Todd. By the way, when she's like, he forgot
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: my 40th birthday. I was like, what a dick.
- 1:10:01Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: And that's just mean.
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: Yeah, because when you have that much money and that
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: many resources, you have an assistant that should have remembered.
- 1:10:13Speaker 5: Oof.
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: When you say that, I, oh, I forgot. Yeah.
- 1:10:17Speaker 4: Which makes me think he did not forget. He just
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: intentionally didn't do it.
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: Oh, you don't deserve it, Bronwyn. Let me eat your cherries.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: What did he eat off of her?
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: Cherries?
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: Cherry. After she said not to.
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: Happy birthday, Bronwyn. I got you a... banana split sundae
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: with cherries on top i wanted to eat those but
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: i guess i.
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: Won't he's such a curmudgeon i know if if he
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: was funny like if he had some quips one here
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: or there it would have gone a long way but
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: he's just he doesn't have it you know The redeeming
- 1:11:06Speaker 4: quality about Todd is what we hear about Todd, and
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: that is how he has Bronwyn's daughter's back so hard.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. I did love that. That was awesome.
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: And how he's always tried to be there for Bronwyn's parents.
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: So we hear about these really nice things about him,
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: but he does not come off well on camera. No.
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: I mean, same thing with Erica. That's the same situation.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: We never really saw much of it. With our own eyes,
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: it was always, you know.
- 1:11:38Speaker 5: Tom is amazing. He swept me up the street like
- 1:11:41Speaker 5: a street sweeper and rubbed me in his arms like
- 1:11:43Speaker 5: a mother bird to a baby bird. He's always like,
- 1:11:46Speaker 5: I couldn't do what I could do without Tom.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: Cry, cry, cry. Cry, emotional cry. You know, it's like
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: the same situation. Okay, so we talked about Bronwyn and Muzzy.
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: We talked about Heather and Tripp. We talked about paddle tennis.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: And we talked about Whitney. We talked about Mara from Lisa.
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: We talked about Lisa, Jack Henry, and John. And we
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: talked about Mary. So I think we covered it all.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: Is there anything else that we need to discuss, Emily Drieses?
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: I think we did it.
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: We've covered all the various areas of this particular Housewives franchise.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: Former Mormon, Various Areas.
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: Hi, I'm Emily and this is Amy, a former Mormon,
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: Various Areas. Welcome to the show.

- 1:13:28Speaker 3: I was just thinking of that when you said.
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: No.
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: On Roni.
- 1:13:32Speaker 6: I know. Woo!

- 1:13:49Speaker 3: Maybe why it's so good.
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: Well, I don't know which names you're talking about, but
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: the New York producers were always the ones that were
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: producing Salt Lake City from the beginning. Are you saying
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: that there are some also?
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: There's been a shift.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: Shout out, Lisa Shannon.
