- 1:18Speaker 1: It's Phil Hendry here from the Hall of Fame Phil
- 1:21Speaker 1: Hendry Radio Show and philhendryshow.com. And when people sometimes ask me,
- 1:26Speaker 1: who's your favorite character in.
- 1:28Speaker 2: to perform.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Do you have one, Phil? And I often say, well,
- 1:30Speaker 1: it's like kids. Do you really have a favorite kid?
- 1:33Speaker 1: And a lot of people say to me, yes, we do.
- 1:34Speaker 1: And then I say, I'm sorry you've been asked. But no,
- 1:36Speaker 1: it is kind of a tough question to answer. But
- 1:39Speaker 1: I have to say, I return consistently to Steve Bozell.
- 1:43Speaker 1: He's a guy that I just know this guy. I've
- 1:45Speaker 1: been around people at work who are like him. I
- 1:48Speaker 1: went to school with people who are like him. Sometimes
- 1:51Speaker 1: I'm just like him. It's Steve Bozell. Here he is,
- 1:54Speaker 1: arguing that he wants to sue his wife and Kenny
- 1:56Speaker 1: Rogers Roasters because he thought he lost his wallet and
- 1:59Speaker 1: then his wife pulled it out of his pocket right
- 2:01Speaker 1: in front of everybody, humiliated him, and it gets into
- 2:04Speaker 1: some really.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Bizarre areas after that. Here is our good friend, Stephen Bozell.
- 2:09Speaker 2: You're taking the kids to a polo match, right?
- 2:12Speaker 3: It's a water polo match, sir, and part of us
- 2:14Speaker 3: are pulling a lot of the kids over right now.
- 2:19Speaker 3: The case that I'm speaking to you about, Mr. Henry,
- 2:22Speaker 3: is against Kenny Rogers Roasters. and the result of us
- 2:27Speaker 3: being at dinner there that night. And I don't know
- 2:32Speaker 3: if you want the particulars of this.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I want to get the specifics of you and the
- 2:38Speaker 1: family at this restaurant where you say.
- 2:40Speaker 2: You lost your wallet.
- 2:43Speaker 3: That is essentially the case. I've been to a couple
- 2:48Speaker 3: of attorneys, and Dolores Blassingame in Riverside, California, has taken
- 2:52Speaker 3: the case, and it's based upon two things. that my
- 2:56Speaker 3: wife would conspire with this restaurant to make a fool
- 3:01Speaker 3: out of me in front of my children and to
- 3:05Speaker 3: ridicule me in front of my children.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Let's start at the beginning, Mr. Bozell, because I know
- 3:10Speaker 1: you're driving and you're talking. You got a hands-free set?
- 3:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I do. Yes, sir.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Okay, go ahead.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Well, to begin at the beginning, we were at the
- 3:19Speaker 3: restaurant here in the Upper Corona area having dinner on
- 3:24Speaker 3: Sunday night. I left the restaurant and part of the
- 3:29Speaker 3: way home I felt that I had, I did not
- 3:31Speaker 3: have my wallet. And I turned around and drove back
- 3:37Speaker 3: to the restaurant and at which point I called the
- 3:40Speaker 3: manager aside and I told him that I had left
- 3:42Speaker 3: my wallet there in the restaurant. He checked and he
- 3:46Speaker 3: said that he did not have the wallet. And I said, well,
- 3:50Speaker 3: I believe you do, because I don't have it on me,
- 3:51Speaker 3: and the last place I was was here.
- 3:53Speaker 2: It wasn't in the car, was it?
- 3:54Speaker 3: It was nowhere in the car, no. And I said, yes,
- 3:58Speaker 3: you do, and he began to get argumentative. And I
- 4:04Speaker 3: did what any man would do. I stood up for myself.
- 4:07Speaker 3: I wasn't going to allow him to call me a liar.
- 4:12Speaker 3: It got very heated.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Well, according to your attorney, it got extremely heated. She
- 4:17Speaker 1: said the restaurant manager got insulting.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Well, he said that he didn't have my wallet, which
- 4:22Speaker 3: is the same as calling me a liar. And I said, yes,
- 4:24Speaker 3: you do. And I demanded that he go get it.
- 4:28Speaker 3: I believe that one of his staff members might have
- 4:32Speaker 3: picked it up. There's an awful lot of these people
- 4:34Speaker 3: who will do that. This was about 15 minutes after
- 4:39Speaker 3: 9 o'clock. The children were in the restaurant when I
- 4:42Speaker 3: went in to confront this manager and ask him for
- 4:44Speaker 3: my wallet. At approximately 9.16, my wife reached into the
- 4:51Speaker 3: right pocket of the windbreaker I was wearing. It was
- 4:54Speaker 3: a varsity jacket. It was an old high school varsity
- 4:56Speaker 3: jacket that I was wearing. And I was wearing it
- 4:58Speaker 3: because I had lettered in water polo and I wanted
- 5:02Speaker 3: my son to see it.
- 5:04Speaker 2: And.
- 5:05Speaker 3: She reached into the lower right pocket of this jacket,
- 5:09Speaker 3: and she pulled the wallet out. And the phrase that
- 5:13Speaker 3: she used, which was noted by my attorney, was, quote,
- 5:19Speaker 3: is this what you're looking for? And with her holding
- 5:28Speaker 3: the wallet up, it held me up to ridicule, and
- 5:32Speaker 3: it made me look like a fool. I went home,
- 5:36Speaker 3: and there was not much more I could do than just...
- 5:40Speaker 3: I went into the master bedroom, and I just threw
- 5:43Speaker 3: myself onto the covers, and I wept. But the next day,
- 5:46Speaker 3: I did something. And I'm not proud of this, but
- 5:51Speaker 3: I took... My wife has a collection of Kenny Rogers
- 5:54Speaker 3: souvenir vinyl CD, or discs, I should say. And I
- 5:58Speaker 3: set them on fire.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Out of revenge, huh?
- 6:02Speaker 3: Yes, sir. I am suing Kenny Rogers Roaster for emotional
- 6:10Speaker 3: damages in association with my wife, April Bozell. I'm also
- 6:13Speaker 3: suing my wife for embarrassing me in front of our
- 6:16Speaker 3: children by holding me up to ridicule in a chicken restaurant.
- 6:22Speaker 3: And I believe, Mr. Henry, more than anything else, for
- 6:26Speaker 3: a wife to actively ridicule her husband in front of
- 6:32Speaker 3: total strangers... And the children that she had as a
- 6:37Speaker 3: result of her sex with him is way, is bad. And... Mr.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Boesel, can I interrupt you?
- 6:49Speaker 3: Yes, sir.
- 6:51Speaker 2: The fact that your wife reached into.
- 6:53Speaker 3: I've got the actual comment here. I couldn't find my notes.
- 6:56Speaker 3: She said, my wife... Are you looking for this, was
- 7:00Speaker 3: the phrase.
- 7:01Speaker 2: All right, when she pulled the wallet out of your jacket.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Yes.
- 7:04Speaker 2: All right.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Are you saying that you lost your wallet, but in
- 7:08Speaker 1: point of fact it was in your jacket the whole time?
- 7:11Speaker 3: That was my understanding when she pulled the wallet from
- 7:14Speaker 3: my jacket, then I did understand that it had been there.
- 7:17Speaker 3: But at no time.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Did she know it was there, and she just let you,
- 7:23Speaker 1: you know, look stupid?
- 7:25Speaker 3: I don't know. I think perhaps she did.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Why would your wife want to ridicule you? Do you
- 7:32Speaker 1: have any motive for this?
- 7:33Speaker 3: Well, in a civil action, you don't need to have motives.
- 7:37Speaker 3: All you need to do is prove that she made
- 7:38Speaker 3: you look like a fool, and the court will hold
- 7:41Speaker 3: in your favor. But if you want me to answer
- 7:44Speaker 3: that question, I can answer it probably pretty succinctly. My wife,
- 7:48Speaker 3: after the birth of our two children, put on a
- 7:51Speaker 3: lot of weight. She used to have a very beautiful body,
- 7:56Speaker 3: but I know it ain't never coming back. As a
- 7:59Speaker 3: result of that, I did spend a little bit of
- 8:02Speaker 3: time at these different clubs, adult clubs and so on.
- 8:07Speaker 3: She found out about the amount of money that I
- 8:10Speaker 3: was spending in the club.
- 8:11Speaker 2: What were you spending it on? Just alcohol?
- 8:14Speaker 3: Alcohol and to have the girl dance, you know, do
- 8:18Speaker 3: a lap dance for me. And I think she's resented
- 8:22Speaker 3: all of that, and I told her I'd stop doing it.
- 8:23Speaker 3: But I think ever since then, she's wanted to.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Has she ridiculed you and made you look foolish in
- 8:28Speaker 2: the past?
- 8:31Speaker 3: Well, I can tell you what my attorney told me, and, boy,
- 8:34Speaker 3: truer words were never spoken. There's a first time for everything.
- 8:38Speaker 1: All right. 1-800-449-8686 is the number here on the Phil
- 8:42Speaker 1: Hendry Show. 1-800-449-8686. Speaking with Mr. Stephen Bozell. He's a
- 8:46Speaker 1: construction contractor. The man is married with two children, was
- 8:51Speaker 1: in a restaurant the other night, the Kenny Rogers Roasters restaurant,
- 8:55Speaker 1: when he thought he'd left his wallet there. Halfway home,
- 8:58Speaker 1: he turns around, goes back to the restaurant, engages in
- 9:01Speaker 1: an argument with the manager who says he doesn't have
- 9:03Speaker 1: the wallet, and then his wife reaches into his pocket
- 9:06Speaker 1: and says.
- 9:06Speaker 2: And the quote is.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Are you looking for this?
- 9:09Speaker 2: Are you looking for this?
- 9:10Speaker 1: And held the wallet out there in front of everybody,
- 9:13Speaker 1: which you say held you up to.
- 9:15Speaker 2: a great deal of ridicule.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Well, I would ask you, sir, if that doesn't... No, no,
- 9:21Speaker 3: I'm not going.
- 9:21Speaker 1: To disagree with you. I think it probably is an
- 9:24Speaker 1: embarrassing moment. Now, the question that I would have, you
- 9:28Speaker 1: also said that you took... She's a Kenny Rogers fan?
- 9:31Speaker 3: My wife's been a big Kenny Rogers fan for a
- 9:33Speaker 3: long time. She's got the original vinyl of some of
- 9:36Speaker 3: his records. It's not really my cup of tea, but...
- 9:40Speaker 3: I did what I did. I should not have done that.
- 9:42Speaker 3: She had an original signed vinyl of Kenny Rogers in
- 9:45Speaker 3: the first edition. When they did the song, I just
- 9:51Speaker 3: popped in to see what condition my condition's in, which
- 9:53Speaker 3: is a great one. And also, Ruby, don't take your
- 9:55Speaker 3: love to town. And she had a signed. 45.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I know that this is emotional for you.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Yes, sir.
- 10:04Speaker 2: She had a signed. 45 from Kenny Rogers?
- 10:07Speaker 3: Yes, sir. She had a. 45 signed, Kenny Rogers, Ruby,
- 10:11Speaker 3: don't take your love to town. And I had made
- 10:14Speaker 3: the comment to her in that song, it's about a
- 10:16Speaker 3: Vietnam veteran who has lost the use of his limbs.
- 10:20Speaker 3: And he is telling his girlfriend, his wife, please don't
- 10:22Speaker 3: go into town and spread it. And he's saying, please, Ruby,
- 10:28Speaker 3: don't take your love to town.
- 10:30Speaker 1: No, I know the song. It's a beautiful song. It's
- 10:32Speaker 1: a very tragically poignant song.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Well, I felt that way when she held that wallet out.
- 10:39Speaker 3: And I told her, I said, that song, Ruby, Don't
- 10:41Speaker 3: Take Your Love to Town, about a Vietnam veteran who
- 10:43Speaker 3: comes home. He's fought for his country, but he can't
- 10:47Speaker 3: use his legs no more. And I know I'm not
- 10:51Speaker 3: a Vietnam veteran, but when she pulled the wallet out
- 10:53Speaker 3: of my pocket and she held it out there for
- 10:55Speaker 3: everybody to see and she said, are you looking for this?
- 10:58Speaker 3: I felt like a man who had had both of
- 11:00Speaker 3: them just shot right off in a war or something.
- 11:04Speaker 3: And she was like Ruby, taking it to town to
- 11:06Speaker 3: spread it. I told her right there, I said, when
- 11:09Speaker 3: you go to town, the only thing you'll be spreading
- 11:11Speaker 3: around is probably something that you're going to have to
- 11:14Speaker 3: get shots for.
- 11:19Speaker 2: You were angry?
- 11:20Speaker 3: I was very angry, yes.
- 11:21Speaker 1: And then you went out the next day and you
- 11:23Speaker 1: burned her Kenny Rogers records.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Yes, sir.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Vinyl is very rare, so I imagine this was some
- 11:29Speaker 2: collector's vinyl?
- 11:30Speaker 3: It was collector's vinyl, yeah. But to hold that wallet
- 11:34Speaker 3: out in front of everybody, God and man, and say,
- 11:37Speaker 3: are you looking for this? And make me look like
- 11:40Speaker 3: a total fool was so hypocritical of her, especially since
- 11:46Speaker 3: she likes that song, Ruby Don't Take It to Town.
- 11:50Speaker 2: All right, Mr.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Stephen Bozell from Corona, California, suing Kenny Rogers Roasters, along
- 11:56Speaker 1: with his wife, for openly ridiculing him in front of
- 11:59Speaker 1: the children after he thought his wallet was lost.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Let's go to a phone call here, and then we'll
- 12:03Speaker 2: take a break. Joe, you're on The Phil Henry Show.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 12:07Speaker 4: The guy that you're speaking with, he's, he should, she
- 12:12Speaker 4: should have divorced him a long time.
- 12:14Speaker 3: He's an idiot. He knew that wallet was in his pocket. No,
- 12:17Speaker 3: I didn't know it was in my pocket.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Man, don't you have a sense of fear?
- 12:22Speaker 3: Sir, it's a very heavy varsity jacket. It's very thick wool, okay?
- 12:28Speaker 3: And the fact is, I had taken my wallet out
- 12:30Speaker 3: of my pocket to pay the tab, and I always
- 12:34Speaker 3: put my wallet in my back pocket of my pants.
- 12:36Speaker 3: It was not there.
- 12:37Speaker 4: You just admitted you took the wallet out of your pocket.
- 12:40Speaker 4: Didn't you know?
- 12:41Speaker 3: Man, you knew where your wallet was.
- 12:43Speaker 4: That woman should have never married.
- 12:45Speaker 3: Hey, wait a minute. If I knew where my wallet was,
- 12:47Speaker 3: why do you think I'd go back to the Kenny
- 12:49Speaker 3: Roger Roaster area and argue with the manager and I
- 12:53Speaker 3: swore up and down at him? I swore like a
- 12:55Speaker 3: sailor on a dock. And the next thing I know,
- 12:57Speaker 3: there's my wife pulling it out of my pocket and
- 12:59Speaker 3: humiliating me. Are you trying to tell me I went
- 13:00Speaker 3: back to that restaurant to have my feelings hurt? No, sir.
- 13:03Speaker 4: That's exactly what you done. You went back to put your.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Own feelings first. Wait a minute. Why would I do that?
- 13:08Speaker 3: You act like a sailor. Why would I do that?
- 13:10Speaker 4: Sometimes your head's up, sometimes it's down.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Man, wake up. Hey, you never lost your wallet. Never
- 13:15Speaker 3: lost my wallet. Oh, yeah, you have.
- 13:18Speaker 4: My wallet, I know where my wallet is at all
- 13:20Speaker 4: the time.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Yeah, I bet you do. I bet you got your
- 13:22Speaker 3: hands on it all the time.
- 13:24Speaker 2: All right.
- 13:24Speaker 4: I got my hand on my wallet right now.
- 13:27Speaker 3: You got your hand on your wallet right now. Okay?
- 13:30Speaker 3: And where's your other hand?
- 13:31Speaker 2: All right.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Well, but that's an example, Mr. Hinder, what I'm talking about.
- 13:35Speaker 3: People don't have any sensitivity to the problem.
- 13:37Speaker 1: All right, 1-800-449-8686. Hold the line here. Was that, that
- 13:42Speaker 1: guy sounded like, did you hear the accent on that gentleman?
- 13:44Speaker 1: That's a New Orleans, that's a Louisiana accent. Just, I didn't,
- 13:49Speaker 1: not apropos of anything, but.
- 13:50Speaker 2: If.
- 13:53Speaker 3: You'd stick to the prophet hand, which is my wife...
- 13:57Speaker 3: You have to hold me up to ridicule in a
- 13:58Speaker 3: chicken restaurant.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Hold on for a minute.
- 14:00Speaker 1: I'm going to do that, but I'm fascinated by that
- 14:03Speaker 1: gentleman's accent.
- 14:04Speaker 3: 1-800-449-8686.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Phil Henry Show. The Phil Henry Show is back. We're
- 14:11Speaker 2: talking with Mr.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Stephen Bozell, who is filing a lawsuit against Kenny Rogers
- 14:16Speaker 1: Roasters and his wife, April Bozell, for an.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Emotional... attack. You say that you were ridiculed in the restaurant.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Why are you suing the restaurant, by the way, sir?
- 14:26Speaker 2: And I know that you're taking the kids. Well, I
- 14:28Speaker 2: just want to tell everybody that you're taking your kids
- 14:30Speaker 2: on a water polo trip.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Yeah, my son is on a water polo team. We
- 14:35Speaker 3: are driving the kids right now. I'm part of the carpool.
- 14:41Speaker 3: But what I was going to say is I'm suing
- 14:43Speaker 3: the restaurant of Kenny Rogers because in the middle of
- 14:48Speaker 3: their restaurant... is where it happened, okay?
- 14:51Speaker 2: Well, that could have happened anywhere.
- 14:52Speaker 3: Yeah, but they, when my wife said, are you looking
- 14:55Speaker 3: for this? The manager gave me a look like I
- 14:57Speaker 3: was some kind of a retard. I shouldn't say the
- 15:00Speaker 3: word retard, but I can't, you know, I'm so emotional
- 15:03Speaker 3: about it that when she pulled the wallet out, she said,
- 15:06Speaker 3: is this what you're looking for? And the manager looks
- 15:08Speaker 3: at me like I'm some kind of a, you know,
- 15:12Speaker 3: a mongoloid or however you want to put it. It
- 15:15Speaker 3: made me feel it.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Well, how was he looking at you?
- 15:18Speaker 3: Well, he was looking me up He did what you
- 15:21Speaker 3: usually do when you're looking at somebody who you think
- 15:23Speaker 3: looks like a circus freak. You know, he looked me
- 15:25Speaker 3: from the top of my head down to my shoes
- 15:26Speaker 3: and back up again. He's just looking me up and
- 15:27Speaker 3: down like I'm some kind of a circus freak. And
- 15:31Speaker 3: I can tell you, I own my own construction company.
- 15:34Speaker 3: I have two children. I pay a mortgage. I send
- 15:39Speaker 3: money to a brother in Knoxville, Tennessee, who's been down
- 15:44Speaker 3: on his luck. If that sounds... And I would love
- 15:48Speaker 3: for you to find me any circus freak you care to.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Go to any circus in America and find out any
- 15:53Speaker 3: circus freak that does that. Has a construction company. You know,
- 15:59Speaker 3: obviously that's not the case. And so that's what I'm saying.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Well, yeah, but this is all.
- 16:05Speaker 1: All right, let me take some phone calls. I just
- 16:07Speaker 1: think a lot of this is in your head. I'm
- 16:08Speaker 1: not saying that.
- 16:09Speaker 3: No, I'm not crazy, Mr. Henry.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I'm not saying that you're crazy, but a lot of
- 16:13Speaker 1: it may be in your head saying... I'm looking, he's
- 16:15Speaker 1: looking at me like I'm a circus freak. You don't
- 16:17Speaker 1: know what the man's thinking.
- 16:18Speaker 3: Well, I can tell you they all laughed when she said,
- 16:20Speaker 3: is this what you're looking at, or is this what
- 16:22Speaker 3: you're looking for?
- 16:22Speaker 1: All right, 1-800-449-8686. Melissa, hi, you're on the Phil Henry
- 16:28Speaker 1: Show with Stephen Bozell.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Go ahead. Melissa.
- 16:32Speaker 4: Hello.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Go ahead, ma'am.
- 16:34Speaker 5: Yes, I think the first question I want to ask
- 16:38Speaker 5: you is, when you went to the girly bars, did
- 16:41Speaker 5: you figure that you were taking your love to town then?
- 16:44Speaker 3: No, ma'am, I was not cheating on my wife at all.
- 16:47Speaker 3: I went to these adult lap dance places, but I
- 16:51Speaker 3: never cheated on my wife.
- 16:53Speaker 5: Okay, so how can that not be, quote, taking your
- 16:56Speaker 5: love to town when all she did was pull out
- 16:59Speaker 5: your wallet?
- 17:00Speaker 3: Because in the song, he's very hurt by her. I've
- 17:05Speaker 3: heard the song.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Wait a minute, wait a minute.
- 17:07Speaker 5: Do you not think watching a bunch of girls with
- 17:09Speaker 5: little clothes on is not hurtful to her?
- 17:11Speaker 3: But, ma'am, you know, you're right, okay? I'm not going
- 17:14Speaker 3: to say you're wrong, but I want you to... Let
- 17:15Speaker 3: me ask you something real quick. My wife put on
- 17:17Speaker 3: a lot of weight after we had the kids, and
- 17:19Speaker 3: her body's never come back, and I know it ain't
- 17:21Speaker 3: never going to come back either.
- 17:22Speaker 5: But that doesn't have anything to do with love.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Uh, okay.
- 17:29Speaker 5: Are you a fat man?
- 17:31Speaker 3: No, ma'am, I'm a construction contractor. I work out in
- 17:34Speaker 3: the sun. I work a lot with lifting, and I've
- 17:36Speaker 3: got a pretty trim body. I try to keep it trim.
- 17:39Speaker 3: I do watch my diet. A lot of people look
- 17:42Speaker 3: at me like I'm some kind of a queer because I.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Could you not use that word? And why do they
- 17:46Speaker 1: look at you that way?
- 17:47Speaker 3: Well, because I keep mostly a woman's diet.
- 17:52Speaker 5: They are not retarded people. They are developmentally disabled, if
- 17:57Speaker 5: you want to know the correct term.
- 17:58Speaker 3: I'm telling you that when my wife pulled that wallet
- 18:01Speaker 3: out of my jacket in the middle of the Kenny
- 18:02Speaker 3: Roaster area, and she said, are you looking for this?
- 18:06Speaker 3: And everybody laughed and laughed like they were looking at
- 18:08Speaker 3: a circus freak.
- 18:10Speaker 5: You probably look like one, too.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Well, isn't that great? You know what? You probably weigh...
- 18:14Speaker 3: I wish I'd have been there, because I'd have laughed
- 18:15Speaker 3: my ass off. I bet you weigh 1,000 pounds, and
- 18:18Speaker 3: you've never been out of your house in three months.
- 18:20Speaker 3: How about that?
- 18:21Speaker 5: Actually, no, I don't. Actually, no, I don't. I'm probably
- 18:24Speaker 5: about 10 pounds under my desired weight.
- 18:26Speaker 3: Which is 260. No, actually, it's 98 pounds. What's your desired... Oh,
- 18:32Speaker 3: in other words, you look like some kind of Biafran child. No, sir, no, sir, no, sir.
- 18:37Speaker 3: No woman that doesn't have a rear end... No ass
- 18:39Speaker 3: at all. That bothers me.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Okay. Can we.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Well, she's the one that started it.
- 18:44Speaker 2: All right. Melissa, thanks.
- 18:46Speaker 1: The childishness of this is getting us away from the
- 18:49Speaker 1: serious issue here of betrayal and the fact that you're
- 18:52Speaker 1: taking this into a civil court.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Now, has your wife betrayed you? And that lady made
- 18:57Speaker 2: a good point.
- 18:58Speaker 3: She pulled it out right in front of the cottage
- 19:01Speaker 3: cheese and the salad bar. There were people there. who snickered,
- 19:06Speaker 3: a woman who had been going by. And the reason
- 19:08Speaker 3: why I say the cottage cheese is because it's just
- 19:11Speaker 3: sort of seared in my mind at that moment of humiliation.
- 19:13Speaker 3: I just saw the cottage cheese that this woman was
- 19:15Speaker 3: putting on her plate. And at that time, I remember thinking, God,
- 19:20Speaker 3: don't take your love to town. And she did. And
- 19:24Speaker 3: that's my whole point.
- 19:25Speaker 1: She didn't betray you any worse than what you did
- 19:29Speaker 1: to her when she put on too much weight after
- 19:31Speaker 1: she had the babies and you.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Went and had lap dances.
- 19:34Speaker 3: I didn't have sex.
- 19:35Speaker 2: She didn't have sex with anybody either, man.
- 19:37Speaker 1: All she did was take your wallet out of your
- 19:39Speaker 1: freaking jacket and go, is this what you're looking for?
- 19:43Speaker 2: Here is Jamie on the Phil Henry Show. Jamie, go ahead.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Hi. Hi, Jamie. Hi.
- 19:48Speaker 4: I just, first of all, with all... due respect to
- 19:51Speaker 4: the man on the telephone, I just think he's taking
- 19:55Speaker 4: this way too seriously.
- 19:57Speaker 3: Maybe I am.
- 19:58Speaker 5: You are, sir.
- 19:59Speaker 4: And, you know, I mean, like, maybe she didn't know
- 20:04Speaker 4: the wallet was there.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Maybe she just happened to catch.
- 20:06Speaker 2: A glimpse of it.
- 20:08Speaker 3: Well, I'm not saying that she did. I'm saying that
- 20:11Speaker 3: she could have waited until we were very tastefully out
- 20:14Speaker 3: of the restaurant. Well, maybe if she.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Wanted to stop you from carrying the poor manager a
- 20:19Speaker 4: new one, you said you called them all sort of
- 20:21Speaker 4: names and everything, and then you're talking about.
- 20:24Speaker 5: Suing your wife. If I was the manager of that restaurant,
- 20:27Speaker 5: I would.
- 20:27Speaker 4: Be suing you for slander.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Wait, how am I suing? I didn't slander him. I'm
- 20:32Speaker 3: saying I made him.
- 20:33Speaker 4: You said you called him all sorts of names.
- 20:35Speaker 3: That's not slander, ma'am. That's just calling a man names.
- 20:38Speaker 3: That's not slander. And I haven't mentioned a man's name
- 20:41Speaker 3: on the air. But I'll tell you this. I should
- 20:43Speaker 3: apologize to him, and someday I will. But right now,
- 20:46Speaker 3: I'm embarrassed.
- 20:46Speaker 5: But you're talking about suing him.
- 20:48Speaker 2: You want to sue the restaurant.
- 20:50Speaker 3: Well, I want to sue Kenny Rogers. But I don't
- 20:52Speaker 3: want to sue that man.
- 20:53Speaker 4: And you want to sue your wife?
- 20:55Speaker 5: Now, what kind of a message does that.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Send to your children? Let me ask you, what kind
- 20:58Speaker 3: of a message does it send to a man when
- 21:00Speaker 3: you pull his wallet out and you wave it around
- 21:02Speaker 3: in the air in front of people and they laugh
- 21:04Speaker 3: at you like you just came off the main stage
- 21:06Speaker 3: of the first show? You know what?
- 21:07Speaker 4: People probably weren't laughing at you.
- 21:09Speaker 5: I think that sounds like a personal problem that you
- 21:11Speaker 5: may have.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Look it, Steve. Can I.
- 21:14Speaker 3: Mr.
- 21:14Speaker 4: Henry, please don't talk.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Down to me, sir. No, wait.
- 21:16Speaker 1: I just want to ask you something. Isn't it just
- 21:20Speaker 1: a funny thing to say, oh, look, here's your wallet?
- 21:22Speaker 3: Well, I'll tell you what. My wife has got a
- 21:25Speaker 3: thing for Kenny Rogers. And I told you I burned all.
- 21:28Speaker 5: What does that have to do with anything?
- 21:30Speaker 3: Because why were we eating in that restaurant? Because she's
- 21:32Speaker 3: got a thing for him.
- 21:34Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 21:34Speaker 3: It sounds like you've got some issues, dude. No, ma'am, no.
- 21:39Speaker 3: I'm not saying I'm jealous of Kenny Rogers. I'm saying
- 21:41Speaker 3: I didn't have to be in the Kenny Rogers chicken shack.
- 21:43Speaker 4: Nobody said that. And then, like, another thing.
- 21:45Speaker 3: The other thing was, I told a man.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Phil Hendry Show.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Are you for real?
- 21:49Speaker 1: On the line with me is Stephen Bozell, a construction
- 21:52Speaker 1: contractor from Corona, California, who must have sued Kenny Rogers
- 21:56Speaker 1: Roasters and his wife, April Bozell, because he thought he'd
- 22:01Speaker 1: lost his wallet in their restaurant.
- 22:02Speaker 2: He did not. It was in his jacket.
- 22:04Speaker 1: His wife pulled it out in front of the manager
- 22:06Speaker 1: of the restaurant and the employees and proceeded, in his estimation,
- 22:11Speaker 1: to ridicule him in front of the manager, the employees,
- 22:13Speaker 1: and the children.
- 22:14Speaker 2: What other employees were there?
- 22:16Speaker 3: The other employees were there, Mr. Henry, were busboys and
- 22:20Speaker 3: a chef or a cook of some kind, and I'm
- 22:23Speaker 3: assuming that because he had on the cook hat, which
- 22:27Speaker 3: is a large, I call it a chef boy or
- 22:30Speaker 3: D hat, I don't know if.
- 22:31Speaker 2: All right, but it looks like a traditional chef's hat.
- 22:34Speaker 3: Yes, sir. And he was standing there with his hands
- 22:36Speaker 3: on his hips, looking for all the world, like, you know,
- 22:40Speaker 3: he owned the place. And I looked at him, I said, hey,
- 22:44Speaker 3: unless you're Kenny Rogers, why don't you just take it
- 22:47Speaker 3: on back into the kitchen and, you know, whatever I said.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Well, that's what they said. You were argumentative. You yelled
- 22:53Speaker 1: at this man. Don't you think you should apologize to him?
- 22:56Speaker 3: I want to apologize to him, but if I apologize
- 23:01Speaker 3: to him, then it makes me look less of a
- 23:03Speaker 3: man right now. And so I want to wait for
- 23:06Speaker 3: the lawsuit to take its case.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Makes you look like less of a man. I don't
- 23:10Speaker 2: understand that, sir, but we'll take a call.
- 23:12Speaker 3: What I'm saying.
- 23:13Speaker 1: No, let's just take a call. 1-800-449-8686. On the line
- 23:17Speaker 1: now is Mari on the.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Phil Henry Show. Mari, go ahead.
- 23:20Speaker 4: Hey, I just have one thing to say. Respect is earned.
- 23:25Speaker 3: I didn't hear that, ma'am. I'm sorry. What'd you say?
- 23:29Speaker 4: That respect is earned. If you want respect in your life,
- 23:33Speaker 4: you need to give respect. And I don't see this
- 23:35Speaker 4: man giving... the person working at the restaurant any respect
- 23:39Speaker 4: for his wife.
- 23:40Speaker 3: But the man works at a chicken restaurant, and I
- 23:42Speaker 3: don't know... It doesn't matter where he works. Well, I
- 23:45Speaker 3: know it doesn't matter where he works, but isn't that...
- 23:47Speaker 3: It doesn't matter where he works.
- 23:48Speaker 4: If you want respect in life, you need to give respect.
- 23:51Speaker 3: To receive it. Don't you think that one of the...
- 23:56Speaker 3: I guess you'd say one of the problems or one
- 23:58Speaker 3: of the challenges of being a manager of a chicken
- 24:00Speaker 3: restaurant is you're going to take a lot of guff
- 24:02Speaker 3: from people. Mm-hmm. Okay.
- 24:04Speaker 4: That's true in your wife.
- 24:06Speaker 3: I am suing your wife.
- 24:07Speaker 4: That's embarrassing.
- 24:09Speaker 3: That's very embarrassing.
- 24:11Speaker 4: And I think that the bottom line of all of
- 24:14Speaker 4: this is low self-esteem. That's what it is.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Ma'am, I don't mean anything by this, but are you
- 24:19Speaker 3: sticking up for the chicken restaurant, ma'am? No, I'm sticking
- 24:22Speaker 3: up for your wife. Have you been employed in the chicken?
- 24:25Speaker 4: No, I haven't.
- 24:26Speaker 3: Never.
- 24:27Speaker 4: I've never been in the restaurant business.
- 24:28Speaker 3: Never. You've never been in a chicken restaurant?
- 24:30Speaker 4: What does that have to do with anything?
- 24:31Speaker 3: Well, because I feel that if you have worked serving
- 24:34Speaker 3: chicken dinners or owned a chicken dinner establishment, then you
- 24:39Speaker 3: may have some sympathies toward this man.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Wait a minute, the lady's talking... For your wife. Yeah,
- 24:43Speaker 2: the woman's talking about.
- 24:44Speaker 4: And for any people that come in contact with you.
- 24:47Speaker 3: Ma'am, don't you think you should respect your husband and
- 24:49Speaker 3: back his place? Of course. But you know what?
- 24:51Speaker 4: I don't see you respecting your wife when you go
- 24:53Speaker 4: into the girly bars.
- 24:55Speaker 3: At all.
- 24:56Speaker 4: I don't see you respecting your wife.
- 24:59Speaker 3: I don't see what that has to do.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the bottom line here, Steve. If you want
- 25:03Speaker 1: your wife, you said that your wife took, quote, you're
- 25:06Speaker 1: quoting that song, Ruby, don't take your love to town.
- 25:10Speaker 1: When you went into the strip bars and paying for
- 25:12Speaker 1: lap dances because your wife, April, gave birth to your
- 25:15Speaker 1: two children, and women's bodies are going to suffer as
- 25:18Speaker 1: a result of that. And some women, you're right, they
- 25:20Speaker 1: keep the weight on.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Well, if that had been the case, because when I
- 25:24Speaker 3: married her, she had a very beautiful, lovely body. What
- 25:27Speaker 3: does that have to do with anything?
- 25:29Speaker 4: What does that have to do with anything?
- 25:31Speaker 3: Well.
- 25:32Speaker 4: I don't understand that. That has nothing to do with
- 25:34Speaker 4: your wallet being in your jacket. Nothing.
- 25:36Speaker 3: My wife should have informed me before we got married
- 25:40Speaker 3: that it runs in her family that after childbirth... Oh, I.
- 25:43Speaker 4: Don't think so. I don't think so.
- 25:45Speaker 3: I can... You know, ma'am... What are you talking about?
- 25:49Speaker 3: This lady... Do you have children, ma'am?
- 25:51Speaker 4: Yes, I do.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Okay. Did you inform your husband? I'll bet you're a
- 25:56Speaker 3: beautiful woman. And your husband probably loves you. But did
- 25:59Speaker 3: you say to him, you know, after I have babies,
- 26:01Speaker 3: you know, all bets are off?
- 26:03Speaker 4: You know what? After many years of marriage, bodies change.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Especially when people get older.
- 26:09Speaker 3: All right.
- 26:09Speaker 4: Bodies change.
- 26:10Speaker 3: And I understand that.
- 26:10Speaker 4: They're not going to be perfect and not going to.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Be Barbie doll bodies. But I don't go to the
- 26:14Speaker 3: strip bars no more. Well, good for you. I saw
- 26:18Speaker 3: our pastor. Good for you. I spoke with our pastor
- 26:20Speaker 3: about it. And our pastor had the same problem. He
- 26:23Speaker 3: was caught with a 14-year-old girl. And yet he has.
- 26:26Speaker 4: Well, that's a whole different story.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Oh, God, man.
- 26:29Speaker 3: I mean... Well, no, but he... What I'm saying, Mr. Henry,
- 26:31Speaker 3: is Jesus forgives everyone. Jesus forgives.
- 26:34Speaker 4: You are shooing your wife, and that's disrespecting your wife.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Well, I love... Marriage.
- 26:40Speaker 4: I mean, that's not... He was not disrespecting you. I'm
- 26:43Speaker 4: sorry to tell you that. She was not. She found
- 26:46Speaker 4: your wallet.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Yeah, man. And she made a joke out of it.
- 26:49Speaker 3: You know... Well, I love my wife very much. She's
- 26:51Speaker 3: the mother of my children, and I would never just.
- 26:53Speaker 4: You're shooing her. What are you teaching your kids there?
- 26:58Speaker 3: Well, I.
- 26:59Speaker 4: What are you teaching your kids there?
- 27:02Speaker 3: If I could negotiate... If I could.
- 27:03Speaker 4: If I could sue anybody that just said something wrong
- 27:07Speaker 4: to them.
- 27:08Speaker 3: If I could negotiate... If that was the case.
- 27:09Speaker 4: If that was the case, sir, oh, man, I would
- 27:12Speaker 4: be rich right now because I would have sued a
- 27:13Speaker 4: lot of people by now.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Ma'am, I felt like when she pulled that wallet out,
- 27:16Speaker 3: I felt like I'd taken a wad right off the chin.
- 27:19Speaker 4: Get over it.
- 27:20Speaker 3: Ma'am, let me just say this. Talk to her about it.
- 27:24Speaker 3: I'd be willing to drop the lawsuit.
- 27:25Speaker 2: You would?
- 27:26Speaker 3: Yes, I would. Have you told her that? The quid
- 27:29Speaker 3: pro quo was she's going to have to drop at
- 27:30Speaker 3: least 50 pounds of lard off of that. Oh, my. Well,
- 27:34Speaker 3: why isn't that fair? Why isn't that fair?
- 27:36Speaker 2: Oh, come on, man.
- 27:37Speaker 4: No, this is ridiculous.
- 27:39Speaker 2: I'm not going to.
- 27:40Speaker 4: This is so ridiculous. It's very ridiculous.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Ma'am, have you ever taken one off the chin? No.
- 27:46Speaker 3: Only in a... In a dirty, filthy movie, does that happen?
- 27:50Speaker 3: But I felt, for all the world.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Sir, your analogies are really beginning to offend me.
- 27:58Speaker 3: I don't understand.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Taking one off the chin?
- 28:00Speaker 3: I felt as if in the middle of that Kenny Chicken...
- 28:06Speaker 3: I can't remember the name of the restaurant.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Kenny Rogers.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Kenny Rogers Restaurant. That I took one full off the
- 28:11Speaker 3: chin with the camera rolling and guys pulling cable. Oh...
- 28:17Speaker 3: All right. You know what?
- 28:19Speaker 4: Just keep in mind that if you want.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Respect, just give it. Yeah, I'm going to hold you over.
- 28:22Speaker 1: I've got a number that you can call. It is
- 28:24Speaker 1: a psychological.
- 28:25Speaker 3: Oh, okay, so I'm crazy. Well. Boy. All right, so
- 28:31Speaker 3: that's wide shot number two.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Get out of here, you sick freak. Thank you very much, Mari.
- 28:37Speaker 4: Okay, thank you.
- 28:37Speaker 3: Bye-bye.
- 28:38Speaker 1: I'd like to thank Mr. Stephen Bozell for being our
- 28:40Speaker 1: special guest. Why, I don't know why I'm thanking him.
- 28:42Speaker 1: But here's our flashback request from a previous show from
- 28:46Speaker 1: the Best of 2004 CD.
- 28:48Speaker 2: It's from Brian Cleary in Smyrna, Georgia. Love the show.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Could you please replay the bit where Jeff Doughter explains
- 28:53Speaker 1: how wildfires start?
- 28:54Speaker 2: You know the rabbits. Thanks for putting on the best
- 28:56Speaker 2: show on the radio, Brian Cleary. Here it is, Brian.
- 28:58Speaker 2: This is the fire season, Professor Doughter.
- 29:02Speaker 1: And there's going to be a lot of fires out
- 29:04Speaker 1: west and wherever there is dry brush. And I know
- 29:08Speaker 1: they're now beginning to enlist the aid of weather satellite technology,
- 29:13Speaker 1: et cetera, to try to track some of this. And
- 29:16Speaker 1: I was wondering what you could perhaps fill in in
- 29:19Speaker 1: terms of the blanks in this.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Well, let's be very clear about what caused the forest fire.
- 29:22Speaker 3: Once you know it caused the forest fire, then you're
- 29:26Speaker 3: able to go down there and, you know, keep it
- 29:33Speaker 3: from happening, but the thing that caused the forest fire
- 29:37Speaker 3: that people don't know... and I've got a very good
- 29:41Speaker 3: friend of mine, Toby Bowe, who worked at Temple City
- 29:42Speaker 3: Animal Hospital for two years, and he read up on it.
- 29:47Speaker 3: When it gets very dry, a lot of the high brush,
- 29:51Speaker 3: a lot of the high weeds, okay, Mr. Henry? Okay?
- 29:55Speaker 2: Yes, I'm following you.
- 29:56Speaker 3: Okay. A lot of the high weeds get very dry. Now,
- 29:59Speaker 3: in the low-lying flatland foothill areas, as you get up
- 30:04Speaker 3: into the higher crested alpine areas, there is a fairly
- 30:08Speaker 3: significantly large jackrabbit population. The community could number anywhere from
- 30:13Speaker 3: 1,000 jackrabbits to 50,000 to 53,000 jackrabbits in a significant area.
- 30:20Speaker 3: The jackrabbits... Have you ever seen a jackrabbit? They get moving.
- 30:26Speaker 3: You know, they haul ass, you know.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I've seen them. I've got them around my house.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly, exactly. So a jackrabbit gets hauling
- 30:33Speaker 3: ass through the high, dry weeds. Static electricity now comes
- 30:40Speaker 3: into play. The fur on a jackrabbit, as he's hauling
- 30:46Speaker 3: ass through these weeds... gets a little spark of static electricity.
- 30:50Speaker 3: Have you ever seen the static electricity on a pair
- 30:52Speaker 3: of slacks?
- 30:54Speaker 2: Yes, I have.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Okay. The jackrabbit gets hauled ass through the weeds. A
- 31:01Speaker 3: little spark of electricity goes. Now the jackrabbit will, at
- 31:05Speaker 3: that moment, burst into flames. Now you've got a flaming
- 31:07Speaker 3: rabbit that's just hauled ass and set everything on fire. Okay?
- 31:13Speaker 2: Now hold on for a minute, man. I just want to.
- 31:16Speaker 2: You're telling me that the fur from the jackrabbit.
- 31:19Speaker 3: Well, keep in mind, it's very dry.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 31:21Speaker 1: It's extremely dry in those areas, and we do get
- 31:23Speaker 1: static electricity. That the fur from the jackrabbit, as he
- 31:27Speaker 1: goes through the weeds, creates static electricity, and the jackrabbit
- 31:31Speaker 1: bursts into flames?
- 31:32Speaker 3: Yes, sir, that's right. So now you've got this bunny
- 31:34Speaker 3: that's just, like, completely burning up, and it's touching off.
- 31:38Speaker 3: you know, trees as it goes by. Toby Bowes, he's
- 31:42Speaker 3: camping with a friend of his, okay, they're up there
- 31:44Speaker 3: doing some camp, he also does some brown trout fishing, okay?
- 31:47Speaker 3: He also, and I probably shouldn't say this, but he
- 31:50Speaker 3: took a hit of acid, he said it was like unreal,
- 31:53Speaker 3: you know, when you get up at that elevation, what
- 31:56Speaker 3: the sky looks like. He took his hit of acid.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Well, I don't need to know about that, man, okay?
- 32:00Speaker 2: Just tell me.
- 32:01Speaker 3: Well, anyway, Toby was up there And on any given night,
- 32:04Speaker 3: he said, you wouldn't believe it, I saw like three,
- 32:06Speaker 3: four bunnies on fire just going, woo, man. They're touching
- 32:10Speaker 3: off trees and everything.
- 32:11Speaker 2: Well, if that's the case, then your friend was in
- 32:13Speaker 2: the middle of a forest fire.
- 32:15Speaker 3: What?
- 32:16Speaker 2: If that's the case, your friend was in the middle
- 32:18Speaker 2: of a forest fire.
- 32:19Speaker 3: Well, he didn't make any comment on that specifically.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Well, what do you mean he didn't make any comment
- 32:25Speaker 2: on it?
- 32:25Speaker 1: Look, if he's seeing four or five flaming rabbits touching
- 32:28Speaker 1: off trees.
- 32:30Speaker 3: Well, again, like I said, it's, you know... I don't
- 32:33Speaker 3: have a full story, but he's up there, and he's
- 32:37Speaker 3: up there with Chris Sorensen, Toby Bowes up there, and
- 32:41Speaker 3: Steve Wedlock, okay, which are a couple of dudes that
- 32:44Speaker 3: we surf with. Anyway, there he's up there, and he
- 32:47Speaker 3: took a hit of acid. Next thing you know, he's
- 32:49Speaker 3: got rabbits that are on fire. Just boom, boom, boom.
- 32:52Speaker 3: And that's when Toby said, I get it. Okay, this
- 32:56Speaker 3: is what's going down. The rabbit.
- 33:01Speaker 3: It's on fire.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Wait a minute.
- 33:03Speaker 3: What?
- 33:03Speaker 2: Are you telling me your friend cooked this up on acid?
- 33:08Speaker 3: Well, but you've got to understand something, Mr. Henry. Acid
- 33:10Speaker 3: will take you to a molecular level of consciousness. No,
- 33:12Speaker 3: wait a minute.
- 33:12Speaker 2: I just want to be clear.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Your friend takes a hit of acid and starts imagining
- 33:16Speaker 1: that flaming rabbits are setting off trees.
- 33:19Speaker 3: Well, think about it, man. I mean, what's wrong with it?
- 33:22Speaker 2: What do you mean static electricity from the bunny fur?
- 33:25Speaker 3: It does, man. If it's that dry and the bunny
- 33:29Speaker 3: fur touches it off, you get acres of trees up
- 33:33Speaker 3: in flames before you can say, hey, time for another
- 33:37Speaker 3: bone hit. Because what's happening, man, is all that dead growth,
- 33:41Speaker 3: it goes up. The rabbit doesn't know. The rabbit doesn't care.
- 33:45Speaker 3: The rabbit doesn't know that it's touching it off. What
- 33:48Speaker 3: are you talking about?
- 33:50Speaker 2: What am I talking about?
- 33:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:52Speaker 2: What are you talking about, man?
- 33:55Speaker 1: You know, you would have been fine if you would
- 33:56Speaker 1: have said your friend went up there and you didn't
- 33:57Speaker 1: mention the acid.
- 33:58Speaker 3: I just said it because he said the sky looks cool.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's fine, man.
- 34:03Speaker 1: But now you're telling me, after you tell me your
- 34:05Speaker 1: friend took a hit of acid, now I'm sitting here
- 34:06Speaker 1: thinking about flaming rabbits.
- 34:08Speaker 2: He hallucinated the whole thing.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, okay, that's right, man. He just came up
- 34:12Speaker 3: with the idea of a rabbit, you know, bursting into flames,
- 34:20Speaker 3: just like that.
- 34:20Speaker 2: No, he did it with the help of LSD.
- 34:23Speaker 3: Well, whatever, man. I mean, you called me up, so....
- 34:28Speaker 2: Where are you right now?
- 34:29Speaker 3: Just at a pond.
- 34:31Speaker 2: You're at a pond?
- 34:32Speaker 3: Yeah. Look at that. Look at that. You see that, Chris? Okay,
- 34:36Speaker 3: a rabbit just went through. Okay, there it is. There's
- 34:39Speaker 3: the flames. So you can kiss my you-know-what, man.
- 34:42Speaker 2: What do you mean, a rabbit just.
- 34:43Speaker 3: A rabbit just hauled ass through, man. Now there's fire.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Is the rabbit on fire?
- 34:48Speaker 3: What's left of him, yeah, he's cooking over there now, man.
- 34:51Speaker 3: This rabbit's just all cooked up. But that's okay, Mr.
- 34:53Speaker 3: Talk Show host. You know what's going down, so that's fine.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Give me some more coffee, man. Give me some more
- 34:58Speaker 3: of that fig, Ria.
