- 0:00Speaker 1: So there is a podcaster I'm starting to like less
- 0:05Speaker 1: and less. And it's funny because I mentioned I think
- 0:09Speaker 1: I mentioned on the show a while back, but it's
- 0:10Speaker 1: I just we'll mention that again on here. I started
- 0:16Speaker 1: fi I thought he was cute. I will fully admit
- 0:18Speaker 1: I thought he was really cute. And I started following
- 0:20Speaker 1: him and and he you know, all kind of you know,
- 0:27Speaker 1: with with and he had all kinds of topics and
- 0:30Speaker 1: I like, I like some of the stuff that he
- 0:32Speaker 1: was talking about, you know, these guests. And he wasn't
- 0:35Speaker 1: super preachy, it was super It wasn't like huge like
- 0:38Speaker 1: Sale Sally Sally Sally said, it wasn't like it's just.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Very much like, I'm interviewing these guys.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Here's a show that was about making friends and a
- 0:46Speaker 1: show about making money, and it's very cool. And for
- 0:50Speaker 1: a couple of years I haven't been.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Kind of following him.
- 0:52Speaker 1: A couple of things have come out about him that
- 0:55Speaker 1: I don't care for. That's just personal preference stuff. I'm like, oh,
- 0:58Speaker 1: I don't think that's gross. And that's girls that he
- 1:01Speaker 1: kind of is into, and nothing super bad. I'm gonna say,
- 1:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna say his name folks, so don't even ask.
- 1:08Speaker 1: But it's not actually a bad or anything, just like
- 1:09Speaker 1: just like things, I'm like, that's gross, Like he's into smoking.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, that's just gross. Whatever.
- 1:15Speaker 1: So I'm you know, I let it go. So I've
- 1:21Speaker 1: been following, following stuff, and then he posts a lot
- 1:23Speaker 1: of videos where he doesn't the poster like maybe twenty
- 1:28Speaker 1: seconds longy sthing is long, but to me, it makes
- 1:30Speaker 1: no sense. And someone brought up to him. He tried
- 1:32Speaker 1: to make a big thing about I'm just posting stuff
- 1:34Speaker 1: so that you'll see it or whatever, and then you know,
- 1:38Speaker 1: maybe and about thinking actually posting some people and.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Watch your show. That's what I'm thinking. Whatever.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Fast forward to you. I said, I've been kind of
- 1:46Speaker 1: you know, I was. I had someone reach out to
- 1:48Speaker 1: me to have me on his show actually, and I
- 1:51Speaker 1: was always hoping that would happened. I loved doing the
- 1:53Speaker 1: show and then it fell through. Somehow it felt it
- 1:56Speaker 1: like a scam or I don't know what was going on.
- 1:58Speaker 1: I never brought up to him tell him I'm leaving
- 2:01Speaker 1: a lot of them.
- 2:01Speaker 2: I'm gonna I'm not gonna. I'm just gonna let it go.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Let you guys all of it, but let go for him.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I just it felt like his podcast was all about
- 2:16Speaker 1: making money. I feel like no one's talking about him,
- 2:20Speaker 1: Like I don't know anybody who knows who just do this.
- 2:23Speaker 1: He has a bunch of followers stuff, but like no
- 2:26Speaker 1: one's talking about him. That's not ship were unusual and
- 2:30Speaker 1: it's climate you could be you could be a big
- 2:32Speaker 1: fish in a certain pond and not everybody knows who
- 2:35Speaker 1: you are.
- 2:36Speaker 2: I get that. I get that part.
- 2:37Speaker 1: But like even with certain people that I mean, like who,
- 2:40Speaker 1: they all know who they are and I hear about
- 2:42Speaker 1: them later it's like no, but I still hear about them,
- 2:48Speaker 1: and it's like, oh, they're big over here. They're not
- 2:52Speaker 1: in my world, but over in that world. So it's
- 2:54Speaker 1: just it's just it's just funny to me that I'm seeing.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I'm just like, I don't see anything of that with him.
- 2:59Speaker 1: His very low engagement on social media, but he claims
- 3:03Speaker 1: he has a lot. I don't know if it's true
- 3:05Speaker 1: or not, but I don't see the engagement. Uh. I
- 3:09Speaker 1: always engage with him, and I will say this eighty
- 3:13Speaker 1: five percent of time he doesn't answer me back. I
- 3:18Speaker 1: will say that, and in a nice way, he's nice,
- 3:25Speaker 1: so I'm always try to get that clear too. But
- 3:28Speaker 1: he recently, I guess, celebrated a milestone and podcasting. At
- 3:35Speaker 1: everything he listed, I was like, what about the fans
- 3:41Speaker 1: he's he mentioned. He mentions growing his knowledge base. He
- 3:49Speaker 1: mentions learning how to communicate, learning how to interview, how
- 3:52Speaker 1: to ask good questions and drive conversation.
- 3:56Speaker 2: He's learned.
- 3:56Speaker 1: He say he's learned how he's but he says he
- 3:59Speaker 1: gave him thousands social media's posts without doing extra work.
- 4:06Speaker 1: He's made lots of money in the revenue sponsorship. It's
- 4:11Speaker 1: got him into rooms he felt he didn't deserve. And
- 4:17Speaker 1: he's kind of let's let's it be known. There's some
- 4:19Speaker 1: folks that weren't on his show. They guess he could
- 4:22Speaker 1: get on a show. But he says the most part
- 4:26Speaker 1: thing is connection and the connection. He names all these
- 4:31Speaker 1: trains people, and he says how podcasting has changed his
- 4:39Speaker 1: life and people should do more podcasting. I get it,
- 4:47Speaker 1: I wrote, cause I was like, there's one thing you
- 4:50Speaker 1: didn't men this, this is what turns you off about him.
- 4:53Speaker 1: One thing he didn't mention. I wrote, And don't forget
- 4:57Speaker 1: the fans, the listeners, the watchers, without them, we're just
- 5:03Speaker 1: talking to ourselves. He's find it's a very true whatever.
- 5:09Speaker 1: But like the fact that y'll mention the fans. So
- 5:13Speaker 1: he tells me, I even know about you. That was
- 5:16Speaker 1: not for the fans. And what's funny for me is
- 5:19Speaker 1: that I feel like podcasting it's all for the fans.
- 5:25Speaker 1: So it's all for you. I you know, I talk
- 5:27Speaker 1: to you guys. I try to get the things you
- 5:30Speaker 1: want to see and hear on my shows. I pictured
- 5:34Speaker 1: shows for the fandoms, and I'm always thanking you so
- 5:38Speaker 1: much for listening and watching and coming over to jokes.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I know you have a million choices. I just know
- 5:45Speaker 1: you do, and you don't have to choose me, and
- 5:48Speaker 1: you are choosing me, so I completely enjoy that. But
- 5:52Speaker 1: I would never not include that in my best reasons
- 5:55Speaker 1: why I started a podcast.
- 5:57Speaker 2: It's the fans.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I mean, it's I just I but him not saying
- 6:02Speaker 1: that it's very go okay, tells me I need to
- 6:06Speaker 1: know about you, So I know it's a lesson. It's
- 6:12Speaker 1: really a lesson. And who you choose to put on
- 6:18Speaker 1: a pedestal, who choose to like is shees take.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Care of you? Know, to listen to who it is.
- 6:27Speaker 1: It's it's very much just like wow, I would say
- 6:32Speaker 1: fans first before anything else.
- 6:35Speaker 2: I just it's just it he named all these things.
- 6:38Speaker 1: And not the fans, So I know, I just feel
- 6:43Speaker 1: like he doesn't have a lot of I feel like
- 6:44Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I just I don't know.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Yes, he's had some really good guests, so of I
- 6:51Speaker 1: big names also, we've all done it, but I don't.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I just don't think this person is exactly who he
- 6:57Speaker 1: thinks he is or whatever.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Like I told, I don't feel it.
- 7:02Speaker 1: So it's hard being disillusioned by somebody you really admired
- 7:08Speaker 1: at first and you're like.
- 7:10Speaker 2: I'm just not sure anymore. I'm sure.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I mean I've done to people myself and some people
- 7:16Speaker 1: who literally just one person I don't think a bad
- 7:19Speaker 1: or woman. I never forget them. They saw one I
- 7:23Speaker 1: don't do political stuff. They were so supportive of there
- 7:26Speaker 1: any way, you know, they loved my stuff and donated
- 7:30Speaker 1: to the cause. I said one thing and that turned
- 7:34Speaker 1: them off forever.
- 7:38Speaker 2: They did.
- 7:38Speaker 1: They were they not They did not support me ever again,
- 7:42Speaker 1: and that's that right, and that's they're right, let's do it.
- 7:46Speaker 1: But it was so crazy how it just fasted, happened,
- 7:49Speaker 1: it was over. I don't know, well, good luck with
- 7:56Speaker 1: with his podcast. I'm gonna say his name. I do
- 7:59Speaker 1: wish him well. Podcasts, yes, I would listen to it,
- 8:04Speaker 1: and hopefully this person will next time, so to really,
- 8:09Speaker 1: hopefully I can come thinking about like the fans, the listeners,
- 8:13Speaker 1: the watchers. The fans, the listeners, the watchers, the volunteers
- 8:18Speaker 1: very important. That's the connection we want to have.
