- 0:14Speaker 2: Okay, let me tell you.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Okay.
- 0:16Speaker 2: I was either the end of May early June. I
- 0:18Speaker 2: was working along Horace Harding Boulevard from one location to
- 0:22Speaker 2: the other, and I crept into the back of the
- 0:25Speaker 2: CVS pharmacy. I walked with a kinge be.
- 0:29Speaker 1: So far it's not too fascinating, worth the interesting part, Okay.
- 0:32Speaker 2: I walked into the entrance of back of the CVS
- 0:36Speaker 2: pharmacy and I sat down where people get their prescription. Yes,
- 0:40Speaker 2: and I'm sitting there and a gentleman walks in with
- 0:43Speaker 2: a yamaka. Now my first language was Yiddish. My parents
- 0:48Speaker 2: spoke Russian to each other and Yiddish to me. And
- 0:50Speaker 2: I seek the man with a yamaica. I said to him,
- 0:53Speaker 2: so do you speak Yiddish? He says, I was born
- 0:56Speaker 2: in Israel.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Well, I know I'm going to be so fast, not
- 1:00Speaker 1: so fascinating. I mean, it's interesting you're trying to hit
- 1:02Speaker 1: on guys in the drug store.
- 1:03Speaker 2: But okay, no, no, he was probably early fifty sixties.
- 1:06Speaker 1: So what are you doing hitting on this guy?
- 1:08Speaker 2: Okay, he's wearing a yama So he said, he doesn't speak.
- 1:12Speaker 2: We got that guy. I said to him, are you
- 1:15Speaker 2: going to vote from mister Blakeman? Huh? And he said
- 1:19Speaker 2: who is mister Blakeman? I said, Donald Trump loves him.
- 1:23Speaker 2: He says, I voted for Donald Trump. So I said, now,
- 1:27Speaker 2: where is.
- 1:27Speaker 1: This CVS located?
- 1:29Speaker 2: Uh, it's right over one hundred and eighty eighth Street
- 1:32Speaker 2: and the expressway where Fresh Meadows isn't that long island
- 1:38Speaker 2: it's Queen's Oh, but it's right on the border. Well anyway,
- 1:42Speaker 2: but I see, I listened to your show, and I
- 1:44Speaker 2: listened to the yell station next to you.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Really you got a radio? Now look at this.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm ninety two.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I don't do much right in that target demo, just
- 1:55Speaker 1: so I'm not.
- 1:57Speaker 2: I'm very happy I'm above the earths. Anyway, So he says.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Well, we give it off. Time for the whole story.
- 2:03Speaker 1: It's only a three hour show anyway, anyway, thanks for Nancy.
- 2:07Speaker 2: No, no, no, I have.
- 2:09Speaker 1: We can't, you know, we call tomorrow. We'll finish it. Tomorrow.
- 2:11Speaker 1: It's too long this story.
- 2:12Speaker 2: But I wrote to mister Blake, stop.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Hitting stop hitting on guys in the drug story. I
- 2:18Speaker 1: mean opening the bubble of one of those things. Anyway,
- 2:21Speaker 1: thanks for calling. Let's go. Let's go to another Nancy,
- 2:24Speaker 1: Nancy in Redback. Nancy. How you doing?
- 2:27Speaker 2: Hi, Mark, congrats on the nine o'clock hour.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Thanks.
- 2:31Speaker 2: I wanted to remind you of a time.
- 2:33Speaker 3: You got up even earlier at seven am on Saturday
- 2:38Speaker 3: with Warner Wolves and you told rat pack stories and
- 2:43Speaker 3: you two were hilarious.
- 2:45Speaker 1: We used to do the rat pack moment or whatever. Yeah,
- 2:48Speaker 1: I used to do it. It was great now that
- 2:51Speaker 1: you mentioned. For many, many years I did a Saturday
- 2:53Speaker 1: morning show six to ten Crash were You're the engineer
- 2:57Speaker 1: on that. No, sometimes Crash is God, nothing changes. Crash
- 3:01Speaker 1: is still the engineer here today. Actually, Crasher rich Samenta
- 3:05Speaker 1: Rich Cemento is now Mark Levin's producer.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Well, you got me up at seven am every Saturday,
- 3:12Speaker 3: and somebody had to, but.
- 3:15Speaker 1: That's true. Thanks for reminding me. You know, I used
- 3:18Speaker 1: to fill in for Imus like ten weeks a year,
- 3:22Speaker 1: so that was six am to ten. Yeah, okay, so
- 3:25Speaker 1: I've done it before. Oh, one year. He would always
- 3:28Speaker 1: take August off, so I would do it for four
- 3:30Speaker 1: It was usually me and Warnerwolf. We'd do it for
- 3:32Speaker 1: four weeks, and unfortunately his brother died during that time,
- 3:36Speaker 1: so he took another four week. So it was like
- 3:37Speaker 1: eight weeks in a row, six to ten am, getting
- 3:40Speaker 1: up at five in the morning. But I did it.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I can get through this. Let's go to Stuart in
- 3:46Speaker 1: South Carolina.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Stuart, how you doing, Hey, Mark car are you you
- 3:49Speaker 4: know talk about the posse cancer with Biden? I never
- 3:52Speaker 4: bought that. I said, something's really wrong here.
- 3:55Speaker 2: You know.
- 3:55Speaker 4: I was seventy one years old when I was diagnosed
- 3:59Speaker 4: with prostate can answer and they.
- 4:01Speaker 5: Do the test.
- 4:02Speaker 4: The only thing the doctor told me is that if
- 4:04Speaker 4: you're eighty, we would tell you don't do radiation or
- 4:07Speaker 4: anything else. Don't even bother. But they are doing the test,
- 4:11Speaker 4: and I don't understand how. Yeah, I hate to say
- 4:13Speaker 4: that the President of the United States is not checked
- 4:17Speaker 4: for prostate No, I mean that is one of the
- 4:19Speaker 4: most normal things.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I'm sure he is. Stuart good point. Yeah, this is
- 4:23Speaker 1: a lie here.
- 4:23Speaker 6: And we did get annual physicals, but they followed the
- 4:28Speaker 6: guidelines of the American Neurology Association and which says that
- 4:33Speaker 6: men don't get prostate screening after the age of seventy.
- 4:36Speaker 1: So I'm fortunate. I guarantee you any good doctor is
- 4:40Speaker 1: doing a prostate screening on somebody over seventy and he's
- 4:43Speaker 1: going to White House Doctors, white House physical nothing's more thorough.
- 4:47Speaker 1: So I don't believe her. Something else happened there. Let's
- 4:49Speaker 1: go to Vincent and Brooklyn.
- 4:51Speaker 5: Vincent, how you doing, Good morning, Mack. I couldn't agree
- 4:54Speaker 5: with Stuart Moaw. And this is for all men who
- 4:57Speaker 5: over sixty. Mark. I'm in my mid seventies and every
- 5:02Speaker 5: three months I get a physical and my last physical,
- 5:05Speaker 5: the doctor flagged me. He says, your prostrate value. Prostrate
- 5:09Speaker 5: value is over the limit, he said. He said, we're
- 5:12Speaker 5: gonna put you on some meds. And he said in
- 5:15Speaker 5: September next month, I have to go for another PSA
- 5:19Speaker 5: and he said, if it's over the top, over the limit,
- 5:22Speaker 5: you have to go for a special MRI that tests
- 5:27Speaker 5: to see if you have it. That is that Whoever
- 5:30Speaker 5: was saying that they don't give screenings after a certain age,
- 5:33Speaker 5: that's boloney, especially if you have it in your family.
- 5:38Speaker 5: Somebody died and your family from it. If anything, if
- 5:41Speaker 5: your insurance company's going to be cheap, you pay for it.
- 5:45Speaker 5: Like before I used to. I couldn't get insurance at
- 5:48Speaker 5: one time. I used to pay for it all on
- 5:52Speaker 5: my own. And I was telling Chris, I have a friend,
- 5:56Speaker 5: had a friend, a very very famous Brazilian jedm Edition.
- 6:00Speaker 5: I'm not going to mention his name out of respect
- 6:02Speaker 5: for his family. He got it when he was seventy
- 6:06Speaker 5: years old, and by the time he was seventy three
- 6:09Speaker 5: he passed away.
- 6:10Speaker 1: That's terrible. Vincent. We gotta go, We gotta go. Why Vincent,
- 6:14Speaker 1: we gotta go do the news.
- 6:15Speaker 5: But he probably had it long before that.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Good luck, so good Vincent. We gotta go do the news.
- 6:22Speaker 1: There's a certain time limit on when we got to
- 6:24Speaker 1: hit it, but h Vincent, good luck. In September, we'll
- 6:28Speaker 1: be uh, we'll be praying for you. Hey, when we
- 6:30Speaker 1: come back. Bruce Blakeman will be with us next
