• 0:28
Speaker 1: If you feel like going out with friends and making
• 0:30
Speaker 1: bad decisions, go for it. If you feel like staying
• 0:34
Speaker 1: under the covers with peppermint Bark and Bailey's and reality TV,
• 0:39
Speaker 1: which is my personal favorite, go for it. This is
• 0:42
Speaker 1: the season for indulgence without guilt. If you don't want
• 0:45
Speaker 1: to be around people, if it's a little depressing for you,
• 0:47
Speaker 1: then I suggest you give into that impulse. Fomo can
• 0:50
Speaker 1: be turned into jomo, which I call the joy of
• 0:53
Speaker 1: missing out when you do exactly what you want to do. Remember,
• 0:56
Speaker 1: the holidays can be the most fun and challenging, So
• 1:00
Speaker 1: you make yourself happy this holiday season. Be with friends,
• 1:04
Speaker 1: be alone, spend a little too much money, eat a

• 3:03
Speaker 5: Hey, it's your favorite single gal Louise giving you some
• 3:07
Speaker 5: advice for surviving the holidays. Typically a tough time when
• 3:12
Speaker 5: I was freshly divorced, when the kids were young, it
• 3:15
Speaker 5: was tough to get into the holiday spirit. The kids
• 3:17
Speaker 5: were out of town for one of the weeks with
• 3:20
Speaker 5: their father. I could barely bring myself to put the
• 3:23
Speaker 5: Christmas tree up. Then I forced myself to change my lens.
• 3:27
Speaker 5: I bought point Settias, and I went to Target and
• 3:30
Speaker 5: bought amazing holiday smelling candles, and I would put my
• 3:35
Speaker 5: favorite music on and make an amazing vision board of
• 3:39
Speaker 5: all the things I was going to manifest in the
• 3:41
Speaker 5: new calendar year. And that would put a smile on
• 3:44
Speaker 5: my face. And then the kids would come home. And
• 3:47
Speaker 5: one of the things that was always front and setter
• 3:50
Speaker 5: on my vision board was that the next holiday season,
• 3:53
Speaker 5: that I would not be alone, and that I would
• 3:56
Speaker 5: be in my chapter two.
• 3:57
Speaker 2: Some years i've had that.
• 3:59
Speaker 5: Other years it's been me doing my thing with my
• 4:02
Speaker 5: friends or my family, and I've learned to get excited
• 4:06
Speaker 5: about the holidays and feel very christmasy and open to
• 4:13
Speaker 5: what the next calendar year was going to bring.
• 4:15
  Speaker 2: So happy holidays.
• 4:18
Speaker 6: Hey, susannoles here and Kathy Swarts.

• 4:24
Speaker 7: for getting through the holidays this year. Just in case you're, say,
• 4:30
Speaker 7: bringing home a new guy, be gentle, introduce them to
• 4:34
Speaker 7: your family easy, don't shove them in their face. But
• 4:38
Speaker 7: if you're alone and you're missing somebody, try to surround
• 4:43
Speaker 7: yourself with friends or family if you have any, and
• 4:47
Speaker 7: just be kind and be thankful that you're still here.
• 4:51
Speaker 6: And my advice to you all is be grateful for
• 4:55
Speaker 6: any time you have with your family, Enjoy the memories
• 4:59
Speaker 6: that you've had from pa holidays, try to create some
• 5:02
Speaker 6: new ones this year. And you know what's the best
• 5:05
Speaker 6: recipe for getting through the holidays. Get some exercise.
• 5:09
Speaker 7: And you know what else, here's some other advice. It's
• 5:12
Speaker 7: okay to go out and go be with friends or
• 5:16
Speaker 7: go to a restaurant, to a movie. It doesn't matter
• 5:20
  Speaker 7: what you do.
• 5:21
Speaker 6: And it's okay to sit by yourself and maybe sit
• 5:25
Speaker 6: the holiday out, maybe cry, maybe watch a sad movie.
• 5:28
  Speaker 2: It's okay because.
• 5:30
Speaker 6: You know what, there'll always be another holiday and you're
• 5:34
Speaker 6: gonna get through this, Just get through it triumphantly the
• 5:37
Speaker 6: best way you can.
