Sermon B-Sides — E154 — "Mission, Community & Buildings" — Matthew 28:16—20

Coram Deo Church — Bremerton, WA · Oct 16, 2026 · 39m

What is the church's mission, and what does a building have to do with it? In this episode of Sermon B-Sides, Pastor Rusten sits down with Pastor Jon to talk about his first sermon in the Legacy series from Matthew 28. They discuss Christ's all-encompassing authority, the call to make disciples, and why the church's buildings serve the mission the way a home serves a family. They also respond to common objections like "churches don't need buildings" and "I don't like big churches," and explain why community must serve the mission rather than become it.

We hope you enjoy, and as usual, if you…
