- 0:00Speaker 1: Trying up, round up, shut down, singing chance.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Chance, not on mobile?
- 0:22Speaker 3: Not on mobile?
- 0:24Speaker 4: Why are you doing it on mobile?
- 0:27Speaker 5: Because for some reason, Discord glitches out on my PC.
- 0:32Speaker 5: For some reason, it mutes everybody after after a few minutes,
- 0:36Speaker 5: and I have to.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Keep on muting people or refreshing. So it's a problem.
- 0:40Speaker 5: It's a problem I don't want to have that I
- 0:43Speaker 5: need to solve.
- 0:45Speaker 3: If you've got a problem, you'll solve it. Check out
- 0:49Speaker 3: my beat while the DJ revolves it. Wait, are any
- 0:53Speaker 3: of you old enough to know what that is?
- 0:56Speaker 6: I I that's familiar.
- 0:59Speaker 7: I don't think I know that one. Yeah.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Shit, Oh there you go. Chili knows what's what's going on? Okay?
- 1:08Speaker 7: Vanilla Ice, Yeah, Vanilla Ice nice.
- 1:11Speaker 3: I think I was like.
- 1:12Speaker 4: Vanilla I heard.
- 1:14Speaker 3: I was getting really scared that I was the only
- 1:16Speaker 3: one who knew what that was. And I was like,
- 1:19Speaker 3: oh man, I just aged myself. But what's going on? Everybody?
- 1:23Speaker 3: I'm the one the only w O Okay, I joined
- 1:26Speaker 3: here by my normal cast of misfits. We got the
- 1:28Speaker 3: kid who knows more than you, mister Cole Robbie. What
- 1:34Speaker 3: was that? That was the most bizarre thing I've ever
- 1:36Speaker 3: heard in a long time.
- 1:38Speaker 7: I was drinking water.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Oh, we've got the other kid that's going to school
- 1:43Speaker 3: to know more than you, mister Dexter. Hello everyone, And
- 1:47Speaker 3: then you had a third child with godlike hair. It's Felix.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I have problems and that's not one of them.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Yeah, you got ninety nine problems, and godlike hair isn't one. No,
- 2:01Speaker 3: fair enough, But we got stuff to go over today.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Kind of giving you a heads up. I don't know,
- 2:07Speaker 3: are you guys recording next week? And I'm just gonna
- 2:09Speaker 3: ship it to me and I I add it. Me
- 2:12Speaker 3: and Dexter will be gone forging keys.
- 2:17Speaker 2: If anything, Oh that's called I just want to move it.
- 2:20Speaker 2: It was just fine too.
- 2:22Speaker 7: I'm always a game for a break here and there.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Yeah, people have a busy weekend for me.
- 2:31Speaker 7: Yeah, unless people go to the streets and yell that
- 2:35Speaker 7: they must have an episode. What if they do, then
- 2:40Speaker 7: I'll make it happen.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, because me and me and Dexter are gonna
- 2:44Speaker 3: go forge some keys otherwise known as Wookie's liver, taking
- 2:49Speaker 3: a beating.
- 2:54Speaker 7: And Dexter being a very good boy of his.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Time.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Yeah, supporting, supporting the habits.
- 3:03Speaker 3: I'm just I'm just gonna say this, Dexter is the
- 3:07Speaker 3: d D.
- 3:09Speaker 7: Hey, there you go.
- 3:10Speaker 3: We got together with other key forgers of the community
- 3:13Speaker 3: and we've decided that Dexter will drive us everywhere, and
- 3:17Speaker 3: we've all agreed this, and we all agreed this is fair.
- 3:22Speaker 3: You didn't get to say what do you mean you
- 3:25Speaker 3: weren't aware of You didn't get a say in it.
- 3:28Speaker 3: We just we voted, and that's what we voted for. Congrats.
- 3:32Speaker 8: Okay, cool, sweet I dig in.
- 3:38Speaker 7: If anyone ever wants to pay for all my travel,
- 3:41Speaker 7: room and board and maybe some food, I will gladly
- 3:44Speaker 7: be your d D at any conventionally. Yeah, you have
- 3:50Speaker 7: to pay for all of that though.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Listen, ubers are pricey. So well, we'll talk later, but
- 4:01Speaker 3: we have things to go over. There's a game found
- 4:03Speaker 3: a boot I don't know if any of you heard.
- 4:05Speaker 3: How's the game Found doing? Everybody? Is it going? Well?
- 4:09Speaker 7: One hundred thousand euros? I half a million?
- 4:12Speaker 2: Now?
- 4:13Speaker 5: Yeah, and that's not including stores, that's just purely people
- 4:19Speaker 5: going through the game found.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Right, Yep, that's a lot of mooney. I think I'm
- 4:25Speaker 3: not sure as much.
- 4:29Speaker 4: As the original Kickstarter.
- 4:32Speaker 3: But wow, good at the time, of recording. It is
- 4:35Speaker 3: November eleventh. Five nine euros have been have been spent
- 4:44Speaker 3: by seventeen eighty one backers with four days to go.
- 4:50Speaker 3: So I don't know. I wonder, you know, because I
- 4:52Speaker 3: know they set what was the original goal? Did they
- 4:58Speaker 3: set a goal? Right? I know it was like this
- 5:01Speaker 3: year seven? Yeah, So the fifty thousand must be because
- 5:06Speaker 3: that's what key Forge does too, right, They're like fifty thousand.
- 5:09Speaker 3: It's you know, it's so they're their their team can
- 5:13Speaker 3: be like, oh, funded in forty seven seconds, you know,
- 5:18Speaker 3: like obviously it's a market marketing. Yeah, right, So but
- 5:26Speaker 3: key Forge also puts THEIRS at five fifty thousand dollars
- 5:30Speaker 3: to fund it, so that must be the lowest that
- 5:33Speaker 3: game found is willing to do. Yeah, just a thought,
- 5:38Speaker 3: I would guess. So, so, so what do the four
- 5:44Speaker 3: days left? Yea, four days left?
- 5:46Speaker 4: So short?
- 5:47Speaker 3: It's funded, so who who cares? Why is it so short? Well,
- 5:51Speaker 3: key Forges is only the same amount of days.
- 5:55Speaker 4: No, key Forge is like thirty days.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Nah, I think again, it's not. It's literally ten days.
- 6:07Speaker 3: I think you're wrong, But okay, I think I'm right
- 6:10Speaker 3: because I've covered every single one of them for the
- 6:13Speaker 3: past four years. So yeah, it's only ten days, but
- 6:16Speaker 3: how come now, hold on, hold on, hold on, now,
- 6:19Speaker 3: let me say this. Yeah, because he posts them daily
- 6:23Speaker 3: for ten days and he's got like nine of them.
- 6:26Speaker 3: That's why. But now with that being said, there are,
- 6:31Speaker 3: you know, certain things that they need you to do,
- 6:34Speaker 3: which you'll get into the FAQ, right, and how Actually
- 6:40Speaker 3: I don't think the FAQ actually has a lot to
- 6:42Speaker 3: do with it, but there's certain things they need you
- 6:43Speaker 3: to do, like if you're doing if you have selections
- 6:46Speaker 3: to make, that will take you know, you'll have like
- 6:49Speaker 3: two weeks after the game Found is closed to make
- 6:52Speaker 3: your selections, so on and so forth. So there's a
- 6:55Speaker 3: lot that goes on after the actual game Found has closed. Right, Yeah,
- 7:01Speaker 3: so that's probably why you think it goes for a month,
- 7:04Speaker 3: but it actually it's really only ten days. Pledge managers,
- 7:07Speaker 3: but then it's it's pushing people like, hey, we need
- 7:11Speaker 3: you to fill out your manager do your pledge manager thing,
- 7:13Speaker 3: and people go, I'll get on it, and then they
- 7:15Speaker 3: never do. Right. It's kind of it's a perpetual wookie, right,
- 7:19Speaker 3: Like I keep saying I'm going to do these things,
- 7:21Speaker 3: and then I never do and then one day thirty
- 7:24Speaker 3: days later I might get to it.
- 7:27Speaker 7: Maybe. Yeah, So that was one of the questions that
- 7:30Speaker 7: Dexter had earlier as I was collecting questions.
- 7:34Speaker 4: I think Felix had that question too.
- 7:36Speaker 7: And then asked again. So I thought the FAQ had
- 7:41Speaker 7: a timeline, but maybe it's more so, yeah, the detailed time. Yeah.
- 7:47Speaker 7: So basically the campaign ends on November seventh, which is.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Two days by Friday. If you're listening to this, Yeah,
- 7:58Speaker 3: so we'll probably this episode is dropping. Is the day
- 8:01Speaker 3: that you'll yes, yes, it is the day that it ends,
- 8:05Speaker 3: So fill out your pledge managers.
- 8:08Speaker 7: Pledge Manager starts November eighth and closes no November fifteen.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Fill out your pledge manager tomorrow.
- 8:18Speaker 7: And I think another good thing to look at where
- 8:23Speaker 7: we are in the year and the timeline. I'm not
- 8:28Speaker 7: sure if there will always be this big of a
- 8:31Speaker 7: gap between the game found and when it actually delivers.
- 8:36Speaker 7: I don't have an issue with it, but a thing
- 8:39Speaker 7: when it comes to production, especially in the world. Chinese
- 8:44Speaker 7: New Year is in January.
- 8:47Speaker 3: I believe, as is regular New Year.
- 8:51Speaker 7: It's more towards I think like they was in February,
- 8:56Speaker 7: but I could be wrong. Yeah, I don't know when
- 8:58Speaker 7: it exactly.
- 8:59Speaker 3: All on computers and can figure this out. I don't
- 9:02Speaker 3: know why.
- 9:03Speaker 7: We're also, yes, you look it up while I.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Think is wrong? Hold on when this is wrong? Yeah,
- 9:12Speaker 3: go ahead.
- 9:14Speaker 7: I was just saying, there is a time period where
- 9:17Speaker 7: we are in our holidays in December and then right
- 9:21Speaker 7: after hours there is Chinese New Year. This same is
- 9:25Speaker 7: usually shut down for a couple of weeks, so it
- 9:29Speaker 7: makes sense that you have basically all of the game
- 9:33Speaker 7: found stuff ending on November sixteenth, and then you don't
- 9:39Speaker 7: actually get the product until it.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Is Chinese New Year, like two weeks. Yes, Oh that's why.
- 9:47Speaker 7: That's why it's a big deal.
- 9:49Speaker 3: I thought it was like a week and I'm like,
- 9:51Speaker 3: this seems wrong. Chinese New Year, according to Google is
- 9:55Speaker 3: Tuesday February seventeenth, also very important and altered history February seventeenth,
- 10:02Speaker 3: twenty twenty six to Tuesday March third, twenty twenty six.
- 10:07Speaker 7: Okay, so yeah it is. I thought it went from
- 10:09Speaker 7: the end of January until.
- 10:13Speaker 3: I don't know if it changes. I think it changes
- 10:15Speaker 3: every year because it says oh yeah, date varies annually
- 10:18Speaker 3: because it's based on the second new moon after the
- 10:20Speaker 3: winter solstice, so it can be between fall between anywhere
- 10:24Speaker 3: between January twenty first and February twentieth, happens happening on
- 10:29Speaker 3: February seventeenth, a very important time in Alter history.
- 10:34Speaker 7: So I've worked in a bunch of businesses before where
- 10:39Speaker 7: that does impact you know, production and deliveries and things
- 10:44Speaker 7: like that, So it makes sense. But that's also just
- 10:49Speaker 7: you know, they need a lot of time for the pledges,
- 10:52Speaker 7: like what you said, production making sure that orders are
- 10:56Speaker 7: not you know, taken too late, so that they're not
- 11:01Speaker 7: you know, delivered late. Give it that little nice runway.
- 11:06Speaker 3: And I think I think Altered is a little lucky.
- 11:09Speaker 3: There are no I don't believe there's anything custom in anything, right, No,
- 11:19Speaker 3: not this time now, Okay, yeah, because like key Forge
- 11:24Speaker 3: does custom stuff and that's a pain in the ass.
- 11:27Speaker 2: So and Dexter found the proof.
- 11:32Speaker 7: So it's less than thirty though it's it's seems it's.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Less than thirty. It's it's eighty eight.
- 11:38Speaker 7: Well that might be including pledge manager.
- 11:41Speaker 3: That is including pledgement.
- 11:43Speaker 4: That's the.
- 11:46Speaker 3: It's including pledge manager.
- 11:48Speaker 7: Anyways, either way, I don't think we even really introduced
- 11:53Speaker 7: this episode. But hey, we're going off a lesser known
- 11:57Speaker 7: details about the game found and hopefully you're hearing this
- 12:01Speaker 7: either early on Patreon or Friday morning, bright and early,
- 12:06Speaker 7: and this can help you see what you want to
- 12:09Speaker 7: do with your pledge before it closes, see what you
- 12:12Speaker 7: want to do at your LGS, or see what you
- 12:15Speaker 7: need to do with your pledge manager.
- 12:17Speaker 3: So absolutely so, do we want to go through the faq?
- 12:23Speaker 7: See I put the faq there in case any questions
- 12:28Speaker 7: came out from you guys or anyone in the live
- 12:31Speaker 7: chat that we needed to double check. I think I
- 12:35Speaker 7: pulled anything out of it super interesting that I saw
- 12:41Speaker 7: like pop up commonly. One of the first questions which
- 12:46Speaker 7: I have seen more than once, and that Dexter also had,
- 12:51Speaker 7: was what exactly is even in a collector booster? And
- 12:56Speaker 7: it does tell you on the game fan page, but
- 13:00Speaker 7: they also have an entire article about.
- 13:03Speaker 3: It we covered on your show, Dexter.
- 13:09Speaker 7: Yeah, he probably didn't listen to that episode.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Oh well, I don't know. Chili was here and I did.
- 13:15Speaker 8: I did listen to it, but I wasn't on it,
- 13:17Speaker 8: so I wasn't like paying as much attention to it.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Cool stuff, Yeah, we get it. Yeah, cool stuff coming in.
- 13:25Speaker 3: I mean you got full arts coming in right. Well,
- 13:30Speaker 3: when we say full art, I mean in full art baby,
- 13:33Speaker 3: no text that will get yeah, I think yeah.
- 13:38Speaker 7: I think either on our episode or on hga's episode,
- 13:43Speaker 7: they kind of broke down what's included and how many
- 13:47Speaker 7: comments it is blah blah blah.
- 13:48Speaker 3: But we did. We kind of went through like the
- 13:51Speaker 3: you know, some of the things that you can see,
- 13:53Speaker 3: so you'll see like the full arts, which it's again
- 13:57Speaker 3: is full art, right, no textless, so get that. That
- 14:04Speaker 3: should be fine.
- 14:05Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm just gonna run through the percentages really quick
- 14:10Speaker 7: of each slots, maybe as possible.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Dexter wanted.
- 14:14Speaker 7: Yeah, people really people mostly want to know percentage of math.
- 14:20Speaker 7: All right, here we go. In the two minutes or less.
- 14:23Speaker 7: There are fifteen playable cards. Card one you have a
- 14:27Speaker 7: fifty percent chance to be a foil Hero. There are
- 14:31Speaker 7: six in total to collect fifty percent chance to have
- 14:35Speaker 7: a foil token for in total to collect cards two
- 14:39Speaker 7: through seven. Six cards are foil commons one rate of course,
- 14:45Speaker 7: because they're all the same ninety six to collect in total.
- 14:49Speaker 7: Also good to note at this point that every card
- 14:52Speaker 7: in a collector booster is foiled and I hate to
- 14:57Speaker 7: say this, but I know some people actually really don't
- 15:01Speaker 7: like foil cards. So if that is, you just know
- 15:06Speaker 7: that every single card in a collector booster is foiled already,
- 15:13Speaker 7: but you could cood it in just normal later on
- 15:18Speaker 7: if you want it. So cards eight to ten three
- 15:23Speaker 7: cards are one hundred percent chance to be a foiled
- 15:26Speaker 7: rare one hundred and ninety two to collect in total.
- 15:30Speaker 7: Card eleven is a foiled unique, so guaranteed unique in
- 15:34Speaker 7: every collector booster. Card twelve is a fifty percent chance
- 15:39Speaker 7: to be a foil unique, a forty percent chance to
- 15:43Speaker 7: be a foil standard exalted with six total to collect,
- 15:48Speaker 7: and a ten percent chance to be a foil emissary.
- 15:52Speaker 7: Alt are exalted with six in total to collect. And
- 15:57Speaker 7: I believe in this article they do have have pictures
- 16:01Speaker 7: of the full art emissary heroes at least three examples
- 16:05Speaker 7: Della and Bowl and Soul and Helua. The sole one
- 16:09Speaker 7: is very very good. Uh, Dellan bowl is cool too,
- 16:14Speaker 7: but the sole one is next level, so those are
- 16:17Speaker 7: very cool. And then we are at Card thirteen is
- 16:24Speaker 7: seventy I hit two minutes, seventy five percent for a
- 16:28Speaker 7: foil unique. Twenty percent for a foil standard full Art
- 16:33Speaker 7: Hero with six to collect, and five percent for a
- 16:37Speaker 7: foil emissary full Art Hero with six to collect. Card
- 16:41Speaker 7: fourteen is a foil full Art common with twelve total
- 16:46Speaker 7: to collect, and then finally, Card fifteen is ninety three
- 16:51Speaker 7: percent to be a foil full Art Rare with twelve
- 16:55Speaker 7: to collect, five percent for a emissary full Art Exalted
- 17:01Speaker 7: six total to collect, two percent chance for a full
- 17:06Speaker 7: art World's twenty twenty five Hero with six to collect,
- 17:10Speaker 7: and then finally less than one percent foil serialized emissary
- 17:16Speaker 7: full Art Hero one and eighty to collect in total
- 17:22Speaker 7: thirty per Hero. The serialized cards, they are able to
- 17:28Speaker 7: be reprinted, but they will not be serialized when you
- 17:33Speaker 7: reprint them, because that would obviously defeat the purpose. What
- 17:40Speaker 7: all right, that's what's in a collector's booster.
- 17:44Speaker 4: I have the MSRPs thirty dollars.
- 17:48Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't know if they've released.
- 17:52Speaker 4: Actually actually just from seeing.
- 17:53Speaker 3: The yeah, thirty bucks ish, it's like twenty nine and change.
- 18:04Speaker 7: Yeah, So the yeah MSRP for a collector booster. I
- 18:12Speaker 7: want to make sure I'm looking at it correct. Yeah,
- 18:15Speaker 7: is twenty four to ninety euros, so whatever whatever that
- 18:23Speaker 7: converts to. I think I had some more stuff in
- 18:26Speaker 7: here about collector boosters, which we should just talk about
- 18:30Speaker 7: right now. So your lgs can get more collector boosters
- 18:37Speaker 7: than people just backing through the game found, but they
- 18:42Speaker 7: will still be a limited product compared to you know,
- 18:45Speaker 7: your normal displays, your normal boosters. This is one of
- 18:51Speaker 7: the big things where their Equinox wanted to make sure
- 18:55Speaker 7: that there was still you know, a good reason to
- 18:59Speaker 7: you know, support your lgs and go to them and
- 19:02Speaker 7: get a benefit there. And this next part in our
- 19:07Speaker 7: notes I marked and read because I'm gonna give some
- 19:10Speaker 7: opinions here and also state that I am not a
- 19:14Speaker 7: store owner, but this is just kind of what I
- 19:18Speaker 7: have been seeing. And it's so a store orders a
- 19:23Speaker 7: case which is six displays, right, and they get six
- 19:28Speaker 7: collector boosters thrown on top free of charge. At least
- 19:32Speaker 7: that's how the price is broken down for them. So
- 19:37Speaker 7: in my experience, most lgs is what they'll do is
- 19:42Speaker 7: they'll keep a couple of the displays for selling out right,
- 19:46Speaker 7: you know, and then they'll keep, you know, a couple
- 19:49Speaker 7: that they open to give out as price support or
- 19:53Speaker 7: single booster sales things like that. So there's been a
- 19:59Speaker 7: lot of discussion around the minimum being six displays or
- 20:04Speaker 7: one case. I think, honestly, that's an entirely fair minimum,
- 20:10Speaker 7: and I don't see how a store, if it supports altered,
- 20:16Speaker 7: can't go through six displays. And one of the other
- 20:21Speaker 7: things I think the stores might be confused about, and
- 20:25Speaker 7: I don't know if it's just not portrayed well enough
- 20:28Speaker 7: or they don't want to do it. Those collective boosters
- 20:32Speaker 7: that are thrown on top, those are definitely intended to
- 20:36Speaker 7: be sold for MSRP or even more than MSRP, because
- 20:43Speaker 7: they are going to be very popular. I think stores
- 20:49Speaker 7: don't believe that they're going to be popular, and so
- 20:55Speaker 7: a lot of them are either just throwing them in
- 20:57Speaker 7: for free with the pre order or where they're not
- 21:01Speaker 7: understanding why they would even want them. But my looking
- 21:06Speaker 7: around and gauging a lot of the conversations in discord
- 21:09Speaker 7: and things like that is there are people who want
- 21:12Speaker 7: to order like cases of just collector boosters, and that's
- 21:18Speaker 7: like four hundred dollars worth of product, and there's multiple
- 21:23Speaker 7: people that want to do that. So I don't know,
- 21:27Speaker 7: what do you what do you guys think about that.
- 21:29Speaker 9: There in terms of body wise for people that are
- 21:32Speaker 9: unique hunting and stuff like that, like, that's really the
- 21:35Speaker 9: way to go. You don't get the ball and then
- 21:38Speaker 9: you contally start accumulating.
- 21:41Speaker 5: They have higher chances of hitting unique for the same
- 21:43Speaker 5: price as a display, or even chances to get some
- 21:46Speaker 5: other rare goodies.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Like the Exalted rarities.
- 21:49Speaker 5: So it's just pure value for those people that are
- 21:53Speaker 5: specifically hunting.
- 21:56Speaker 7: Yeah. Absolutely, And the way that I kind of looked
- 22:01Speaker 7: at it is I think adding one for a pre
- 22:04Speaker 7: order is super smart. I think that's actually a really
- 22:07Speaker 7: good deal that some lpss are doing. But I've also
- 22:11Speaker 7: heard of stories that are like, if we don't get
- 22:15Speaker 7: twelve people in advance to preorder, we're not going to
- 22:20Speaker 7: order at all, and we're giving you one free collector booster,
- 22:25Speaker 7: you know, for each display preordered. In my mind, if
- 22:29Speaker 7: you set it up to where you're like, Okay, I'm
- 22:31Speaker 7: going to buy one case or two cases, which is
- 22:34Speaker 7: either six displays or twelve displays, anyone who pre orders
- 22:39Speaker 7: ahead of a certain time, I'm going to throw a
- 22:41Speaker 7: collector booster on top for free, and then anything after
- 22:46Speaker 7: that in the store is just going to be split
- 22:48Speaker 7: up and sold separately. Will you maybe have displays that
- 22:55Speaker 7: kind of go you know, unopened for a bit, possibly,
- 23:01Speaker 7: but then you're selling any extra collector boosters that weren't
- 23:05Speaker 7: pre ordered at thirty dollars or more a pop, which
- 23:09Speaker 7: is pure profit for you.
- 23:10Speaker 3: You know, maybe. I mean I can definitely you got
- 23:17Speaker 3: to remember store game stores and this is kind of
- 23:22Speaker 3: where I talked about it a while ago. So I
- 23:25Speaker 3: don't really want to beat another dead horse. Game stores
- 23:29Speaker 3: are fickle animals, right, Like, they work on pretty thin margins,
- 23:34Speaker 3: so you know, they kind of gota make sure they're
- 23:40Speaker 3: going to make theirs otherwise.
- 23:41Speaker 7: You know, Yeah, one hundred margin is pretty good though.
- 23:46Speaker 3: I mean one hundred percent margin, it's pretty good, but
- 23:48Speaker 3: you also have to be able to sell it. Yeah,
- 23:52Speaker 3: I say, like, I don't think any they should have
- 23:55Speaker 3: no problem. Right in theory, they should have no problem.
- 23:58Speaker 3: But you know, again my lot again, a lot of
- 24:03Speaker 3: game stores don't have the ability to just sit on
- 24:06Speaker 3: product and be okay with it.
- 24:10Speaker 7: Yeah. The other thing for me is if you are
- 24:14Speaker 7: a game store in you know, this day and age,
- 24:19Speaker 7: I would think if you could, you would want to
- 24:22Speaker 7: have an online store and that's like kind of the
- 24:26Speaker 7: secondary you know option I would see is if your
- 24:30Speaker 7: local scene doesn't buy up all the collector boosters, I
- 24:34Speaker 7: can like almost guarantee that someone from Canada or something
- 24:38Speaker 7: would hop on the chance to buy more of those online.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Especially those other places that just can't order.
- 24:45Speaker 7: Yeah. I think what my theory is is that the
- 24:50Speaker 7: stores are undervalue, undervaluing just how much the collector boosters
- 24:57Speaker 7: you know, will sell. And and I understand there, especially
- 25:02Speaker 7: if you're you know, a bigger store that runs more
- 25:05Speaker 7: than a couple of TCGs, you have so many products
- 25:09Speaker 7: to go over. But that's kind of why I wanted
- 25:13Speaker 7: to break it down as well. Who knows if some
- 25:16Speaker 7: LGS owner will hear this, but maybe you know, a
- 25:19Speaker 7: player will hear it and they're like, oh, I misunderstood that,
- 25:22Speaker 7: and they'll be able to to better tell their their LGS.
- 25:27Speaker 7: But yeah, I think the collector boosters will sell. The
- 25:32Speaker 7: other thing is is they are limited, so it's it's
- 25:36Speaker 7: going to be similar to you know, any other TCG
- 25:39Speaker 7: that had a special special project product. If there is
- 25:46Speaker 7: someone who can buy it and you can get it
- 25:47Speaker 7: to them, it's going to sell out.
- 25:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean it might I can definitely seeing where
- 25:54Speaker 3: the store's online presences, it might have a better a
- 25:58Speaker 3: better time doing it right, lot easier to sell them,
- 26:01Speaker 3: you know. So I don't know, We'll have to wait
- 26:07Speaker 3: and see it.
- 26:07Speaker 7: That's a.
- 26:09Speaker 3: That's to watch it.
- 26:12Speaker 7: So yeah, I am also interested in if they become
- 26:18Speaker 7: so popular, if we see some go for fifty or
- 26:22Speaker 7: sixty dollars a pack, we'll see.
- 26:25Speaker 3: I mean, if if demand is high enough and supply
- 26:28Speaker 3: is short enough. Yeah.
- 26:30Speaker 7: Yeah, So the moving on to other questions I've seen
- 26:36Speaker 7: or questions asked by Felix or Dexter. The game Found number,
- 26:44Speaker 7: I think we kind of talked about it. The total
- 26:47Speaker 7: does not include any LGS orders, but if you order
- 26:53Speaker 7: through your LGS, all of the stretch goals that are
- 26:57Speaker 7: hit on the game Found will be include in that order.
- 27:02Speaker 7: So what was uh the first stretch goal that they see?
- 27:07Speaker 3: And this this boggles my mind. Didn't he didn't Loki
- 27:12Speaker 3: say there wasn't going to be stretch goals? This is
- 27:16Speaker 3: just a pre or.
- 27:19Speaker 7: Yeah, from the start they went to yes exactly. They
- 27:24Speaker 7: changed their mind because people kept asking about it, So
- 27:27Speaker 7: they figured something out.
- 27:31Speaker 3: What it was people keep asking about it? We're going
- 27:33Speaker 3: to do it, like again, this is just again, this
- 27:37Speaker 3: is this goes back to my whole like, you know what,
- 27:41Speaker 3: my kids keep asking to eat ice cream before dinner,
- 27:43Speaker 3: but I don't allow him to do it, right, So,
- 27:45Speaker 3: like I mean, I'm just saying it.
- 27:49Speaker 7: Was not as good of a dad as Equinox.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Or by a better dad, because yeah, goes back towards
- 27:58Speaker 3: my thing of like, Okay, so are you running a
- 28:01Speaker 3: game found as a pre order? Are you running a
- 28:03Speaker 3: game found as a game found? Right? And don't fucking
- 28:06Speaker 3: take the like you need the local store, like more
- 28:11Speaker 3: than ever, you need the local business. If you don't
- 28:14Speaker 3: have the local LGS, you will not have a card
- 28:16Speaker 3: game to sell. Don't You're not You're not Wizards. Please
- 28:20Speaker 3: do not take them out of the scenario.
- 28:23Speaker 7: Yeah, well they do include them, So I think it's
- 28:26Speaker 7: the opposite of your worry.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Well, I know the lgs's will get them and they're
- 28:31Speaker 3: able to sell them. But again I think, I guess see,
- 28:37Speaker 3: And then here's the problem is, I don't know how
- 28:40Speaker 3: much of the community has already pledged a game found,
- 28:45Speaker 3: how many of the still burgeoning you know this still
- 28:49Speaker 3: how much of the altered community is bought from Game Found.
- 28:54Speaker 7: It was one thousand.
- 28:55Speaker 3: I know, I know how many backers it is, right,
- 28:59Speaker 3: but what is that person? What does eighteen hundred backers mean?
- 29:05Speaker 3: You got to imagine this more than eighteen hundred players
- 29:08Speaker 3: in the world, right, Yeah, So what does that percentage
- 29:13Speaker 3: look like? Right? Because, like I mean, maybe there's thirty
- 29:18Speaker 3: two hundred or thirty six hundred players in the world.
- 29:21Speaker 3: I'm just again, that percentage means a lot, right, And
- 29:25Speaker 3: you cannot, cannot, cannot, cannot take the game stores out
- 29:29Speaker 3: of it, right. They need to make their money because
- 29:32Speaker 3: otherwise they're not going to support you, and they'll just
- 29:35Speaker 3: keep supporting Magic because it's what brings in the Dallas. Yeah.
- 29:40Speaker 7: What does that have to do with the stretch goals?
- 29:43Speaker 9: Though?
- 29:45Speaker 3: Stretch goals are typically a reason to order through the
- 29:49Speaker 3: Game Found, right, so as you'll also.
- 29:53Speaker 7: Get it if you're ordered through your LGS, though.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Do I I guess that depends on how to LGSX.
- 30:01Speaker 4: The boxes that they get.
- 30:02Speaker 3: That's what I was just saying, right, But okay, so
- 30:06Speaker 3: hold on, hear me out. That doesn't mean your algas
- 30:12Speaker 3: is okay, So what are the stretch goals? Tell me
- 30:14Speaker 3: what the stretch goals are yes, and explain my thoughts
- 30:17Speaker 3: to you.
- 30:18Speaker 7: This is this is how it works out, and this
- 30:20Speaker 7: is why I understand. Uh well, a lot of people
- 30:23Speaker 7: asked for it, which is one reason, but in all honesty,
- 30:27Speaker 7: another good reason is because the campaign is maybe not
- 30:32Speaker 7: doing as much as they would want as quickly, which
- 30:36Speaker 7: is totally fair. How they did the stretch goals was
- 30:40Speaker 7: basically by adding stuff that they already have access to,
- 30:44Speaker 7: which is for the five hundred thousand euro milestone as
- 30:49Speaker 7: a box toper. In every Seeds of Unity display there
- 30:54Speaker 7: will be one sky Bound Odyssey OP booster, so it'll
- 30:58Speaker 7: be a promo boost and I'll have those Chibi Leviathans.
- 31:03Speaker 7: And then at the next stretch goal of six hundred
- 31:06Speaker 7: and fifty thousand euros, each display will include a random
- 31:11Speaker 7: unique from the new expansion on top of what was
- 31:14Speaker 7: already on there. So these are things that they could
- 31:17Speaker 7: easily pivot at, you know, before the campaign ends to
- 31:21Speaker 7: add them on top. And no matter if you ordered
- 31:25Speaker 7: directly from the game, found or pre ordered at your LGS,
- 31:29Speaker 7: or buy a box at your LGS, these will also
- 31:31Speaker 7: be included on all of those purchases.
- 31:38Speaker 3: Okay, So the idea of it is, yes, but you
- 31:44Speaker 3: cannot tell me what the lgs's are going to do
- 31:47Speaker 3: with each each one of those, right, So maybe if
- 31:53Speaker 3: you buy a box at your LGS, you might get it,
- 31:55Speaker 3: and maybe you might not.
- 31:58Speaker 7: Well, if you buy a box from your LGE, yes,
- 32:00Speaker 7: and they've opened it, then you have a big problem.
- 32:03Speaker 3: Yeah, so they're in the.
- 32:04Speaker 4: Box, they're inside them, inside, not.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Just added to them.
- 32:11Speaker 8: If they opened up the cellophane and took out the
- 32:13Speaker 8: box stoppers, that would be something really crubbing.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Well, no worries about it a little bit.
- 32:20Speaker 3: Well, Also, like box toppers for many moons, and if
- 32:25Speaker 3: you've ever played other if you've ever played other games,
- 32:30Speaker 3: like the box stoppers don't actually come to the top
- 32:33Speaker 3: of the box, right, And if this is how Altered's
- 32:37Speaker 3: doing it, that's that's again perfectly fine. But a lot
- 32:40Speaker 3: of the times, like you open a box topper, that
- 32:44Speaker 3: doesn't mean that, or you buy a box, that doesn't
- 32:47Speaker 3: mean you'll be opening a box, you know, the the
- 32:49Speaker 3: toppers of the box. Normally the LGS owner just hands
- 32:52Speaker 3: you the box stopper.
- 32:55Speaker 7: As it is, it is possible that these add ons
- 32:59Speaker 7: are not physically in the box, but I am guessing
- 33:05Speaker 7: that they will be based on the things that they
- 33:07Speaker 7: picked and the time they're doing it. Otherwise I could
- 33:12Speaker 7: see them being as part of the cellophane. But the
- 33:17Speaker 7: normal box toppers that they already planned have to be
- 33:21Speaker 7: within the box because they are different, I believe, But
- 33:27Speaker 7: you never know. They could They could do all sorts
- 33:30Speaker 7: of things, so who knows.
- 33:34Speaker 3: True, I'm just gonna I like it.
- 33:39Speaker 2: As a consumer, I like it because I mean, it's
- 33:41Speaker 2: just more style.
- 33:44Speaker 3: As a principal, we like stuff give us.
- 33:51Speaker 2: But as a principal there there's like two sides. For example,
- 33:55Speaker 2: this this stress folds only account for people going to
- 33:59Speaker 2: the game or not of the store, So.
- 34:02Speaker 5: These rascals are exclusively to this particular game found In addition,
- 34:06Speaker 5: I think you started sitting up.
- 34:08Speaker 2: Can't set a precedent that it might become more common
- 34:13Speaker 2: in the future, And I'm not sure that's a good thing.
- 34:15Speaker 3: Well, now, all you gotta do is just bug equinox enough,
- 34:18Speaker 3: tag locate enough, just scords to be like, hey, we
- 34:22Speaker 3: want you gotta tag Eric whatever. I just gotta tag
- 34:27Speaker 3: somebody and eventually I'll get what I want.
- 34:32Speaker 7: Yeah, I think it's really two things I do think
- 34:35Speaker 7: they wanted to, you know, breathe some more life into
- 34:40Speaker 7: the campaign. And the thing is is it is kind
- 34:43Speaker 7: of like this weird you know, balance to Strike, because.
- 34:49Speaker 3: You there are.
- 34:50Speaker 7: People who are going to order through the game found
- 34:53Speaker 7: and their lgs, which is what I'm going to try
- 34:57Speaker 7: and do if I can make it work out. Stretch
- 35:00Speaker 7: pay is a beautiful, wonderful thing. I did not put
- 35:04Speaker 7: this in my show notes, but I've got to.
- 35:06Speaker 3: Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on
- 35:08Speaker 3: now now I'm freaking out. Okay, so what are you
- 35:11Speaker 3: freaking out about? Okay, so let's just say like I
- 35:14Speaker 3: wanted to breathe some life into the campaign, right. That's now.
- 35:20Speaker 3: That is now making the assumption that they did have
- 35:24Speaker 3: a number in mind, and that number wasn't there, so
- 35:27Speaker 3: they introduced a stretch goal to try to get people
- 35:29Speaker 3: to buy. So again, they were looking for more money
- 35:32Speaker 3: from the game found as opposed to as opposed to
- 35:39Speaker 3: just selling it outright in store, which one of these
- 35:43Speaker 3: don't listen to YouTube because you two all of a
- 35:46Speaker 3: sudden started playing. So that's saying that, yes, we do
- 35:49Speaker 3: have a number of mind. No it wasn't fifty thousand,
- 35:52Speaker 3: but yeah, we're trying to breathe some life into the game,
- 35:55Speaker 3: found campaign to get a few more dollars, and that
- 35:59Speaker 3: we maybe kind of care about the stores, but maybe
- 36:03Speaker 3: also kind of don't because you know, this is a
- 36:06Speaker 3: little bit cheaper and a better way to do things.
- 36:08Speaker 3: Because I can's not the middleman.
- 36:11Speaker 7: No, no, I can. I can guarantee one hundred and
- 36:14Speaker 7: ten percent that they really care about the LGS and
- 36:19Speaker 7: everything they do they try to think of the LGS.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Well.
- 36:24Speaker 7: The other thing is, especially now, there are people who
- 36:29Speaker 7: play this game and want this game and don't have
- 36:32Speaker 7: an LGS that's carrying it.
- 36:34Speaker 3: So now I get too. I trust me, I understand
- 36:40Speaker 3: it more than you know.
- 36:41Speaker 7: Col I don't know if I don't know if you do.
- 36:45Speaker 3: I do because I am one of those people who
- 36:47Speaker 3: does not have anologs and likes to play this game.
- 36:51Speaker 7: So yeah, I think they are trying to strike a
- 36:55Speaker 7: balance between the two. And the other thing is that's
- 36:59Speaker 7: my life. I guess on why they would do stretch goals,
- 37:04Speaker 7: and it's not anything I would.
- 37:07Speaker 3: They wouldn't have done it like that would have made
- 37:09Speaker 3: me feel so much better to be like, hey, guys,
- 37:11Speaker 3: like we get it.
- 37:13Speaker 7: I think you're in the minority, unfortunately.
- 37:16Speaker 3: And and I probably am right, and and a lot
- 37:21Speaker 3: of the times when it comes to these things, somebody
- 37:24Speaker 3: has to be dad and step in and be like, listen,
- 37:27Speaker 3: you little shit. You may not like the broccoli, but
- 37:30Speaker 3: it's good for digestion, so you're gonna eat it.
- 37:35Speaker 5: Why didn't they Why didn't they have the rekill portal
- 37:38Speaker 5: to these stretch goals?
- 37:40Speaker 7: Then that is one thing I'm not sure. The only
- 37:43Speaker 7: reason I could think on why they are separate is
- 37:46Speaker 7: because the stores get a way better deal than the
- 37:51Speaker 7: average person. And maybe that would if they were both
- 37:56Speaker 7: combined on the same page, that would kind of, you know,
- 38:00Speaker 7: shoot themselves in the foot. It's also an entirely different
- 38:04Speaker 7: like order process, so well, you also don't want technical
- 38:09Speaker 7: limitation or what.
- 38:10Speaker 3: You also don't want people knowing like what the stores
- 38:15Speaker 3: are getting it for. Yes, it's kind of a no no,
- 38:19Speaker 3: you know what I mean, Like you don't want to know.
- 38:21Speaker 3: You don't want them to know what a good deal
- 38:23Speaker 3: they're getting because it's like, well they're getting that good
- 38:27Speaker 3: of a deal that means you can make mine less, right,
- 38:30Speaker 3: So now you're in a weird spot. So nothing people,
- 38:34Speaker 3: but people. People, listen, bro, I work in a pawn shop. Right,
- 38:40Speaker 3: most things in my store are already fifty percent off
- 38:44Speaker 3: what they would be new, right, And I charge significantly
- 38:50Speaker 3: significantly less on jewelry. You can't find my prices anywhere else.
- 39:01Speaker 3: I still, on every jewelry sale that ever comes through
- 39:04Speaker 3: my store get asked for a discount. It is just
- 39:07Speaker 3: normal human nature.
- 39:10Speaker 7: Yes, I think the majority of people understand what goes
- 39:14Speaker 7: into a game store and know that there are those margins.
- 39:17Speaker 3: I don't think you're right, pretty, I don't think. I
- 39:19Speaker 3: don't think a majority of people do know. I think
- 39:22Speaker 3: a majority of people think that these game stores are
- 39:25Speaker 3: making money hand over foot and don't realize that they're
- 39:29Speaker 3: operating on fifteen to twenty percent margin, which on a
- 39:33Speaker 3: four dollars actually packs of cards are pricing. Now, what's
- 39:37Speaker 3: what's a pack of cards going for six? Seven bucks?
- 39:41Speaker 7: Depends five?
- 39:42Speaker 4: Buy them for altered Yet I.
- 39:43Speaker 3: Buy them by the box. So I don't really know.
- 39:46Speaker 3: I just I've never actually done the math. But you know,
- 39:49Speaker 3: twenty percent on five dollars, what is that a bucket?
- 39:54Speaker 3: You make a dollar? So on each pack you maybe.
- 39:59Speaker 7: Maybe a better way to say, is a good amount
- 40:01Speaker 7: of people do understand and are totally fine with the
- 40:04Speaker 7: fact that lgss have like about a forty percent margin,
- 40:08Speaker 7: but a margin uh anyone who orders Altered.
- 40:18Speaker 3: Okay, so that's one product line. I don't think Wizards
- 40:22Speaker 3: has given anybody. I don't think Pokemon is getting anybody forty.
- 40:29Speaker 7: All of Asthma Day products are at about a forty percent.
- 40:32Speaker 3: That's horseshing. That's incorrect.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Maybe if their dial maybe.
- 40:40Speaker 3: Maybe at that top tier Asthma Day level, they're making
- 40:44Speaker 3: about forty percent, but your average game store owner is
- 40:48Speaker 3: not pumping enough inform of enough product to be at
- 40:52Speaker 3: that level.
- 40:54Speaker 7: Well, we're also talking about if they were charging MSRP.
- 40:58Speaker 7: So yes, if a store is charging MSRP for like
- 41:03Speaker 7: Asthma Day TCGs, I can tell you it's about a
- 41:06Speaker 7: forty percent margin.
- 41:08Speaker 3: I think that numbers cooked, but.
- 41:12Speaker 7: I'm telling you that's what it is. That's what it is.
- 41:16Speaker 7: But most stores don't sell at MSRP. So that's where
- 41:19Speaker 7: it's not forty percent margin. Like, I've never paid absolute
- 41:26Speaker 7: one hundred percent full MSRP for a display of Altered.
- 41:31Speaker 3: And so you're you're the reason this game's failing.
- 41:35Speaker 7: Well, I still buy one box from my LGS even
- 41:38Speaker 7: though they're like ninety percent up to MSRP. But then
- 41:43Speaker 7: if I have to buy more boxes, I'll order online
- 41:46Speaker 7: from like gamers Guild or something because I just can't
- 41:49Speaker 7: afford one hundred and thirty five one hundred and forty
- 41:52Speaker 7: dollars a box. So Game Game Nerds selling at one
- 41:57Speaker 7: hundred dollars a box is obviously not a forty margin.
- 42:01Speaker 7: But that's where it is offered.
- 42:06Speaker 3: In my area, because I'm just gonna go over my area, right,
- 42:11Speaker 3: my guys take whatever they're selling the pack for and
- 42:13Speaker 3: just multiply it by how many packs are in a box.
- 42:16Speaker 3: I don't think I've ever gotten a discount on a box.
- 42:21Speaker 7: Yeah, the there are plenty of lgs's who do There
- 42:24Speaker 7: are plenty that sell at MSRP, and there are a
- 42:28Speaker 7: few very rare breeds that charge over MSRP.
- 42:32Speaker 3: Somehow interesting, All right, what do we got next?
- 42:36Speaker 4: Call?
- 42:36Speaker 2: Yep?
- 42:37Speaker 4: Depends on the game in the store.
- 42:38Speaker 3: But yeah, yes, yep.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Uh.
- 42:41Speaker 7: Felix had a really good question about the plush and
- 42:46Speaker 7: how it's nice and if it's going to happen more. So,
- 42:51Speaker 7: I will talk about this as carefully as I can.
- 42:56Speaker 3: Did you guys see the plushes at in France might
- 43:00Speaker 3: have to seek?
- 43:02Speaker 7: Yeah, they're they're very good quality. Like, and this is
- 43:07Speaker 7: coming from a person who I don't I don't really
- 43:11Speaker 7: care to have one, Like I'm kind of similar to Wookie.
- 43:14Speaker 3: It's just not.
- 43:15Speaker 7: Quite my thing. But as of right now, I have
- 43:20Speaker 7: one on my pledge and I'm kind of tiptoeing back
- 43:24Speaker 7: and forth. They just are really nice quality for the price.
- 43:28Speaker 7: They have a bell on the inside of them, which
- 43:33Speaker 7: I think is kind of smart.
- 43:36Speaker 3: Yeah, instead of they smell like strawberries, I.
- 43:40Speaker 7: Can send you one that smells like strawberries if you
- 43:42Speaker 7: really want.
- 43:43Speaker 3: Wait, I think i'm inn.
- 43:46Speaker 7: But yeah, they're very soft, very nice. But what I
- 43:51Speaker 7: will say is they didn't know how well something like
- 43:58Speaker 7: this would sell, where maybe certain people weren't very aware,
- 44:04Speaker 7: including the enamel pins. The enamel pins sold out the
- 44:09Speaker 7: second day of Worlds.
- 44:11Speaker 3: I told you that the first thing to go was
- 44:14Speaker 3: going to be the pins and the plush. First thing
- 44:17Speaker 3: the plush was.
- 44:18Speaker 7: The plush was not for sale because of production didn't
- 44:22Speaker 7: finish in time. But if it was, I can also
- 44:25Speaker 7: tell you that it probably would have sold out.
- 44:27Speaker 3: Oh yeah, for whatever reasons pins and plushies are they
- 44:31Speaker 3: go gangbusters in the CCG community. I have no idea why,
- 44:35Speaker 3: but they're just there are things that people absolutely love.
- 44:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:40Speaker 7: I really wanted some pins. Obviously I could not get
- 44:44Speaker 7: any because they sold out before I even had a
- 44:46Speaker 7: chance to look. But what I can say is, if
- 44:51Speaker 7: this is something that people want, if it's something you
- 44:55Speaker 7: would buy more of in the future, like if they
- 44:58Speaker 7: come out with a ratitask here or some other kind
- 45:02Speaker 7: of plush added to your penguin order, Yeah, add it
- 45:09Speaker 7: to your pledge on Game Found, or just talk about
- 45:13Speaker 7: it more often, bring it up, how much you would
- 45:15Speaker 7: love it, what.
- 45:16Speaker 3: You would have bought them if any of them were
- 45:20Speaker 3: ones I liked.
- 45:23Speaker 7: Yeah. So the the pins and the Woolliback were both
- 45:29Speaker 7: limited production, so once those are gone, they're gone. But
- 45:35Speaker 7: it has been mumbled maybe that if they sell out
- 45:40Speaker 7: with the Game Found, maybe they'll they'll try and produce
- 45:44Speaker 7: more so.
- 45:44Speaker 3: The second run, Yeah, or more, maybe do another another
- 45:51Speaker 3: critter except for the wolli Back. Is that what you're saying?
- 45:54Speaker 7: Yeah, I know they would do more more of the
- 45:58Speaker 7: or the.
- 45:58Speaker 3: Brass bugs or a penguin.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:02Speaker 7: Yeah, if it's something that you want. This one's selling
- 46:06Speaker 7: out and then people talking about how much they want
- 46:08Speaker 7: it are both good ways to make that.
- 46:11Speaker 3: Happen again, make the penguin.
- 46:15Speaker 7: I think that one's less likely, but you know.
- 46:17Speaker 3: I'm just I'm not gonna put it out there. If
- 46:19Speaker 3: you make a bagpie horder, I will buy all of them.
- 46:24Speaker 3: Continue on my continuing quest to own every Magpie horder. Yeah,
- 46:33Speaker 3: but that's just like Est to own all of his
- 46:37Speaker 3: person that he keeps buying. I bought a quest to
- 46:40Speaker 3: I forget who feels Garricks? That's sweet? But you do twelve?
- 46:46Speaker 3: Maybe that should be a new segment on the show,
- 46:48Speaker 3: The Garrick Count's go over how many Garrett.
- 46:52Speaker 7: You're beating me on the amount of arrows is that
- 46:55Speaker 7: I have?
- 46:56Speaker 3: So well, you're only beating me by three on Magpie horders?
- 47:00Speaker 7: Ooh nice. The next question was about the release schedule.
- 47:09Speaker 7: It'll remain the same as always, three sets per year
- 47:12Speaker 7: with four month seasons, so no change there just means
- 47:16Speaker 7: that there will be three game founds a year. I
- 47:20Speaker 7: am pretty certain that they were up front, or at
- 47:24Speaker 7: least it was clear that this is the new way forward.
- 47:31Speaker 7: I know Wookie has complained to time or two about
- 47:34Speaker 7: how key Forge said they were only going to do
- 47:36Speaker 7: it once.
- 47:38Speaker 3: Yeah, no, no, they stopped. They have made that extraordinarily
- 47:42Speaker 3: clear that this is the way they are going forward
- 47:45Speaker 3: with it. And listen, I don't I would have probably
- 47:49Speaker 3: been fine with it if key Forge was like, Yep,
- 47:52Speaker 3: this is just how we're going to do things, because
- 47:54Speaker 3: this is this is kind of how we have to
- 47:57Speaker 3: do it. Right. It's one thing to be like, this
- 48:00Speaker 3: is the it's got to be the way. It's got
- 48:02Speaker 3: to be right because of reasons. Right, That's one thing,
- 48:05Speaker 3: But to go We're only ever gonna do this once
- 48:08Speaker 3: and then never again, and then literally the next step
- 48:11Speaker 3: be like well, releasing another game found It's like, really,
- 48:15Speaker 3: what the you are? You were very upfront honest about it,
- 48:20Speaker 3: right I I am. I am a big I am
- 48:24Speaker 3: a big proponent of people being upfront and honest, especially
- 48:28Speaker 3: game stores or game stores, game developer developers, distributors I
- 48:33Speaker 3: don't even know what they are anymore, especially both in
- 48:35Speaker 3: my card game, right I. In my card game, I'm
- 48:39Speaker 3: very big on upfront honesty. But I'm also very big
- 48:42Speaker 3: on you holding your word. So when you say you're
- 48:45Speaker 3: not going to do something, my expectation is you will
- 48:49Speaker 3: not do something. And it kind of does get me
- 48:54Speaker 3: a little bit that they did go back and be like,
- 48:56Speaker 3: all right, we're gonna add this stretch goal. It's kind
- 48:59Speaker 3: of like what you said, you aren't gonna It's like,
- 49:02Speaker 3: well people asked, It's like, well, you know, just because
- 49:05Speaker 3: people just can't give everybody what they want all the time,
- 49:08Speaker 3: and sometime, you know, in everybody's life there's got to
- 49:10Speaker 3: be a little rain. So maybe love don't get it. Yeah, great, perfect,
- 49:15Speaker 3: you'll like it when you don't get a stretch goal then,
- 49:19Speaker 3: but yeah, I'm just that's big for me, right because
- 49:22Speaker 3: that just means like I don't like it when people complain,
- 49:27Speaker 3: and if enough people complain, they just change something even
- 49:29Speaker 3: though there's no reason for it, right, Like, and I
- 49:33Speaker 3: feel like that happens a bunch, especially an alternate I
- 49:37Speaker 3: feel like that that happens a lot. Like everybody complains
- 49:40Speaker 3: and before there's even time to make adjustments, it's just like,
- 49:44Speaker 3: well we'll just uh, we'll just rot of this card.
- 49:50Speaker 3: And then it's like, well, no, there was it's been
- 49:52Speaker 3: like a week, bro, Like, give give them at a
- 49:55Speaker 3: time to settle before you just make a decision. I
- 49:59Speaker 3: don't know.
- 50:00Speaker 7: Ye, there there has been a time or two that
- 50:05Speaker 7: a little too much.
- 50:06Speaker 3: Right, that's snap judgment of like, well, people are bitching again,
- 50:11Speaker 3: what do we do just to rot it?
- 50:13Speaker 7: It's like, okay, Yeah, I don't think any of the
- 50:16Speaker 7: aratas were like ones they shouldn't have done based on feedback.
- 50:21Speaker 7: But one of the things that I will point towards
- 50:24Speaker 7: that I think they listened to people too much was
- 50:27Speaker 7: the tumult Rewards. Because the first season had the thick,
- 50:32Speaker 7: you know, big card, and enough people complained that it
- 50:36Speaker 7: wasn't a playable card that the next set they turned
- 50:40Speaker 7: it into a playable card, and I'm just like, well,
- 50:42Speaker 7: that's just like every other TCG, Like okay, I can
- 50:46Speaker 7: go play Star Wars and get a stamped card like
- 50:48Speaker 7: well who. I liked the uniqueness of the big card,
- 50:53Speaker 7: but a lot of people complained, so they changed it.
- 50:56Speaker 3: I feel like the Afana Serrada was just too too quick.
- 51:00Speaker 7: No, no, that's valid. That was valid.
- 51:03Speaker 3: That's just the was valid, or the quickness was valid.
- 51:08Speaker 7: I mean it took them forever to arata.
- 51:11Speaker 4: Yeah, they were a little bit slow.
- 51:12Speaker 3: Anything for what's forever.
- 51:15Speaker 4: Was too good for too long.
- 51:18Speaker 3: He was like the year was it that long?
- 51:22Speaker 7: Didn't he was one of the original heroes.
- 51:24Speaker 3: No, No, I know he's an original hero, but like
- 51:26Speaker 3: he didn't really have a breakthrough until like there had
- 51:29Speaker 3: to be a whole lot of ratas before all of
- 51:31Speaker 3: a sudden, the Faas was good, like he wasn't always busted. Well,
- 51:38Speaker 3: he was always good, but you busted.
- 51:41Speaker 4: As as soon as Waru was gone. A fess was good.
- 51:44Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't know if you feel that play it
- 51:48Speaker 7: just fell unfair.
- 51:50Speaker 3: I kind of well number one, I kind of liked that.
- 51:54Speaker 3: Number two, you liked that it felt unfair? Well, yeah,
- 51:57Speaker 3: I mean I was. I was the Afanas players, so
- 52:00Speaker 3: you know, I kind of liked that. But yeah, well
- 52:02Speaker 3: I don't know that it didn't feel like a year
- 52:06Speaker 3: and not feel like yeah, I swear it was like
- 52:09Speaker 3: forty five days and they're like ohm, tying to do this,
- 52:12Speaker 3: So I'm like, I don't know, it just it felt quick.
- 52:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, it's a long time in TCG world.
- 52:21Speaker 3: It's it's really not though, it's really really not. Maybe
- 52:28Speaker 3: I just come from the days when like I don't know,
- 52:32Speaker 3: maybe I'm just used to like magic being like I
- 52:34Speaker 3: we'll just wait for it to rotate out of standard.
- 52:37Speaker 3: I don't know, maybe that's what I'm used to.
- 52:39Speaker 7: Yeah, the the Erota conversation could be a whole episode
- 52:45Speaker 7: on its own. And when you should and when you shouldn't,
- 52:47Speaker 7: And how this has never happened in a TCG before,
- 52:50Speaker 7: even though TCGs have erotted cards before they were even
- 52:54Speaker 7: in the hands of people, don't.
- 52:56Speaker 3: I don't know what you got going on outside with
- 52:58Speaker 3: everyone else on the on the server, but I didn't
- 53:01Speaker 3: say all that that was. That was a whole lot.
- 53:04Speaker 3: I've never said that, there's never been before.
- 53:08Speaker 7: Well, that's that's what I'm saying, is the erotic conversation
- 53:11Speaker 7: could be its own episode.
- 53:12Speaker 3: Yeah, it just it just to me, it felt very
- 53:15Speaker 3: quick and maybe I'm wrong, maybe more time had passed
- 53:19Speaker 3: than actually you know, maybe more time had gone through
- 53:22Speaker 3: than actually then what felt like for me, that's very possible,
- 53:26Speaker 3: but it just it felt like all of a sudden,
- 53:28Speaker 3: it was like, oh a funess is good and he
- 53:30Speaker 3: su and he sucks again. Like that's really how it
- 53:34Speaker 3: felt to me. It was like, as soon as it
- 53:36Speaker 3: was good, it was now bad again.
- 53:39Speaker 7: Do you wanna do you want to know something a
- 53:41Speaker 7: fauness is still greatness is good?
- 53:44Speaker 4: Still?
- 53:46Speaker 3: Sure, that's all. So some of the some of feel
- 53:51Speaker 3: feel very quick and rushed. But and again maybe it's
- 53:55Speaker 3: just they they felt quick and rushed to me, and
- 53:57Speaker 3: that's not the reality of the situation.
- 54:01Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 54:02Speaker 7: Well, Uh, I have only one last bullet and it's
- 54:07Speaker 7: a very very big one for anyone who made it
- 54:10Speaker 7: this far.
- 54:10Speaker 3: Is it for your valantine?
- 54:13Speaker 7: No, I was gonna say before before I discussed it.
- 54:17Speaker 7: Did any want to have anything else that we feel
- 54:20Speaker 7: like could have been covered? That you had questions when
- 54:23Speaker 7: you first looked at the game found but didn't get
- 54:26Speaker 7: them answered right away?
- 54:28Speaker 3: Man grizzled bets of game found, so we understand.
- 54:34Speaker 7: Yeah, I just want everyone to know for this episode,
- 54:38Speaker 7: I looked all over for all sorts of questions so
- 54:42Speaker 7: that we could all put it in one episode to
- 54:44Speaker 7: hopefully answer a lot of the ones that were asked commonly.
- 54:47Speaker 7: I even looked at like YouTube comments for other creators'
- 54:50Speaker 7: videos and looked at what they were asking. Uh. There
- 54:54Speaker 7: was a video where key Forge was mentioned a lot,
- 54:58Speaker 7: and I think one of them was like, if key
- 55:00Speaker 7: Forge can survive doing this, then Altered will be fine.
- 55:04Speaker 3: Well, Okay, So again, right, it's it's designed and I
- 55:10Speaker 3: don't necessarily know like they're they're saying, this is not
- 55:13Speaker 3: the way we want to do it. We're not doing
- 55:16Speaker 3: it as a cost saving measure, right, We're doing it
- 55:21Speaker 3: because this is just what we're going to doing it
- 55:25Speaker 3: as a pre order. It's allowing us to do a
- 55:27Speaker 3: whole lot of a bunch of stuff. You know. It's
- 55:32Speaker 3: just it's it's one of those things where it is
- 55:34Speaker 3: designed a little bit to help help distribution and help flow, right,
- 55:44Speaker 3: and by flow, I mean like how much to produce. Right,
- 55:48Speaker 3: it gives you that idea of how much to produce
- 55:51Speaker 3: for a single game. Now, key Forge has survived doing it,
- 55:55Speaker 3: but growth has been stagnant, regressing it best.
- 56:05Speaker 7: Right, No, girls, how was how did the game fair
- 56:09Speaker 7: with Asthma Day? How did that go?
- 56:13Speaker 3: Well? As soon as the pandemic hit they gave up
- 56:15Speaker 3: on it. So I'm not saying you're wrong that it
- 56:19Speaker 3: would have went further under Asthma Day. That's not what
- 56:22Speaker 3: I'm saying at all.
- 56:23Speaker 7: And I'm just saying as it's not you go, h,
- 56:32Speaker 7: it's like a necessity thing at this point, is how
- 56:35Speaker 7: I see it. It's not like something they absolutely wanted
- 56:39Speaker 7: to do or envisioned doing. It's it's really just in
- 56:45Speaker 7: many countries, Asthma Day was actively hurting the game, in
- 56:50Speaker 7: my opinion, And I have experienced working with Asthma Day,
- 56:55Speaker 7: so I probably shouldn't be saying this because I work
- 56:57Speaker 7: with them later this month.
- 56:59Speaker 3: Oops, But they don't listen. I think.
- 57:04Speaker 7: I like, yeah, I was on the other end of
- 57:08Speaker 7: some of these issues. And the only reason, and this
- 57:13Speaker 7: is this part is really truly just my opinion. The
- 57:16Speaker 7: only reason they can't come out and say like Asthma
- 57:20Speaker 7: Day failed us, blah blah blah, is because they still
- 57:23Speaker 7: have to work closely with Asthma Day, especially in I think.
- 57:28Speaker 7: I think in Asia, Asthmade will still be distributing the
- 57:32Speaker 7: game for one reason or another. So it's really, in
- 57:37Speaker 7: my eyes, just a unfortunate necessity so that they can
- 57:44Speaker 7: try to provide what they've always wanted to provide with
- 57:48Speaker 7: altered and Asthma Day did not help as much as
- 57:53Speaker 7: they would have hoped with that.
- 57:56Speaker 3: And I'll agree like Asthma Day sucks. I'll just flat
- 57:59Speaker 3: out say it as is the worst, the worst, right,
- 58:03Speaker 3: Like if ASTHMAE ever comes a calling to buy your game, like,
- 58:10Speaker 3: either don't sell it or sell it all right, Like,
- 58:13Speaker 3: don't don't be like, oh, we're gonna kind of sell it,
- 58:17Speaker 3: like and then you'll just help us with distribution, because
- 58:19Speaker 3: they won't, right, so just don't like. So I agree
- 58:26Speaker 3: going to Game Found was probably the correct decision for them,
- 58:34Speaker 3: and I have no problem with them going to the
- 58:36Speaker 3: game found thing. They were upfront, they were honest about it, like, hey,
- 58:40Speaker 3: this is this is how we're going to handle it,
- 58:42Speaker 3: and this is how we're going to be distribution. That's phenomenal.
- 58:47Speaker 3: The thing that key forge is running up against again
- 58:50Speaker 3: right now is the ability to grow the game now.
- 58:55Speaker 3: Altered is light years ahead of Kei Forge. In that fact,
- 59:00Speaker 3: it's literally been four years since Keyfde has been back
- 59:04Speaker 3: and we still don't have an local organized play system.
- 59:09Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't want the That was one of the
- 59:12Speaker 7: complaints I also saw on the video about why you know,
- 59:17Speaker 7: keyfard still exists, but it doesn't have all of these
- 59:20Speaker 7: things and Altered does.
- 59:22Speaker 3: Right, So that's that's a that's that's huge, right, there
- 59:25Speaker 3: is no local op for Keyforde, meaning there is no growth. However,
- 59:34Speaker 3: with that being said, it's incredibly hard to get growth
- 59:42Speaker 3: in a game When a majority of your sales are
- 59:46Speaker 3: coming from your game Found, it doesn't leave the people
- 59:51Speaker 3: who are wanting to buy your game, Like when you
- 59:58Speaker 3: offer these big package is in the way they're doing,
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: Like it's like, well, I've got all I'm pretty much
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: gonna need for this set. You're not buying it from
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: your local game store. And therefore, if you're not buying
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: it from your local game store, your local game store
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: is now extraordinarily uninterested in helping you what's you know,
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: and helping that game grow whatsoever, because there's nothing in
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: it for them. So it becomes kind of this weird
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: catch twenty two situation where it's like, oh, well, we
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: really want to support the game, and we're gonna do
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: YadA YadA, so on and so forth, but there's no
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: reason to carry the game because everybody buys it from
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: the Game Found, and really you're just become a space
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: for people to take up that aren't going to spend
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: any money other than snacks and sleeves.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: We'll be catering to the usual people.
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: Right, So it's like, well, I might as well do magic.
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: At least they're drafting at least they're doing this. I
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: mean our local group for KEYFGE, we literally play Sealed
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: every single week to make sure we're buying packs from them,
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: so that makes them want to continue to buy the game.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: So it's just it's going to be weird and interesting
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: to see where this ends up. Because again, I've seen
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: what Game Found has done for key Forge, and it's
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: allowed the game to continue to be available to the
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: people who want to play it and the people who
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: love playing it, but it's also made growth extraordinarily difficult.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: So I think will it do the same for Altered?
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: Maybe yes, maybe no. Maybe because they have you Altered
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: has a local op system, maybe that helps it grow.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: I don't. It's just I don't know, Like this is
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: only this is only a thing time will tell. There's
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: there's no way to know. My guess is it's going
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: to kind of go the same way of key Forge,
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: right because right now, ninety three percent of games are
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: played on Game Found. I mean, there's I'm sorry, BGA,
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: So it's going to become a it's going to probably
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: become a predominantly online game. That would be if I
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: had to make a if I had to make a prediction,
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: in the States at least. I'm not going to say
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: what would happen in overseas because obviously that's a whole
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: other animal, right you. You you're seeing thousand plus people
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: turnouts over overseas, so I mean obviously people do show
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: up for it, for it over in the in Europe,
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: so nobody will know there. But at least in the States,
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: I think it's going to be a predominantly online game.
- 1:02:52Speaker 7: I'm glad you added the stipulation of in the States.
- 1:02:56Speaker 7: I still think maybe too high.
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: But when when I when I'm saying that again, I
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: mean in the States, yeah, not not necessarily play yeah,
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: not necessarily again overseas, but in the States, I would say,
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: if you're playing Altered, a majority, a good majority of
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: your Altered is being played on bg A. Do you uh?
- 1:03:20Speaker 7: Do you want to know a funny aside? Uh?
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: For you, Wookie, I would love a funny at side.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:03:28Speaker 7: You you know your uh fan favorite flicks from the
- 1:03:34Speaker 7: key Forge cervix?
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: Yeah, what about flicks? Did you?
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: Uh? Did you track the conversation when he was listening
- 1:03:43Speaker 7: to the episode.
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: A week never No, so uh.
- 1:03:48Speaker 7: He was listening to us talk about Altered, and he
- 1:03:52Speaker 7: was like, well, uh, you know, at least key Ford
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: still has you know, more games played on t c O,
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: And I was like, buddy, but there are six hundred
- 1:04:02Speaker 7: active games on VGA right now for Altered.
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: I don't.
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: I don't think TCO is getting that close.
- 1:04:08Speaker 8: And he's like likes to make statements without actually knowing.
- 1:04:12Speaker 7: If or not. Phil is very funny.
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: Flix is like I don't understand flicks. Like a lot
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: of the times, I think he just rage baits, right,
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: He's just like trying, like I don't, I don't even know,
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: Like he just says words and then you're like you
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: got to ask like were you dropped on your head
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: as a child and that, And I think that's he
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: enjoys like that kind of questioning. I don't even know,
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: because it's just like, dude, like if buddy, if you
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: even knew, right, Like, it's just like no, Like, I
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: will guarantee you that at least probably at this point,
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: there have been more games played on BG I've altered
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: than of all time played on TCO. I will almost
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: guarantee it, just because of how probably. I mean, at
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: one point time, yes, there were tons of games going
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: on in TCO it's just not the case anymore. But
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: you know, it's like one of those things where it's like, dude,
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: if you only knew, you know.
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: But yeah, how many I think it gets to like
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: what five to ten at the most on TCO now
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: now nowadays.
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, unless there's something going on like we're doing
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: the we're doing the weekly sealed events that cheap does
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: in our server. Yeah, yeah, it's probably about it's I
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: would say six to eight, five at ten is probably right. Yeah,
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: you're probably right on that on five to ten.
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: I wonder does does TCO have an amount of games listed?
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: Because I can tell you how many Altered Altered.
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: I know four games on TCO.
- 1:05:50Speaker 7: Yeah, they don't have a like total games played.
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: I don't think so. I could probably get that you
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: wanted it.
- 1:05:59Speaker 7: Yeah, it's it's over. It's over one point five million
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: played on BGA for Altered.
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: So it's probably close. It's probably closer than I've been
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: giving it credit for. But you know, I don't know,
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: I've never I've never asked, you know, and it's not
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: it's not something that you know again as but they
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: hate online plays, so they would never even really, they
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: wouldn't even acknowledge that TCO existed.
- 1:06:28Speaker 7: Yeah, they do that with a lot of their other games.
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: It's weird. It's weird, but yeah, are you ready for
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: the last juicy detail?
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: Give me the tea. Yes.
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: So this this is confirmed by Eric aka in Tux,
- 1:06:50Speaker 7: so it's not a leak or anything. They they have
- 1:06:54Speaker 7: the article ready to go, ready to publish, to announce
- 1:06:59Speaker 7: that Print on Demand is released to the whole world.
- 1:07:04Speaker 7: They are just waiting on the green light from another
- 1:07:07Speaker 7: partner that is holding it up nice so very nicely.
- 1:07:15Speaker 7: Previously they wanted to have it launch at the same
- 1:07:18Speaker 7: time as the game found Unfortunately, whoever is holding it
- 1:07:23Speaker 7: up stopped that. So it's ready. They just need the
- 1:07:28Speaker 7: final stamp of approval and.
- 1:07:30Speaker 3: Then way to go Netherlands. It's always the Dutch.
- 1:07:33Speaker 7: And Print on Demand and marketplace will be open to uh,
- 1:07:39Speaker 7: the entire world is probably how it will be described.
- 1:07:43Speaker 7: But I wouldn't be surprised if there's you know, some
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: weird island that's technically not included in Print on Demand.
- 1:07:50Speaker 7: So yeah, but it's.
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: Done, Nosylnce. So if you're altered player of the Galopoglos,
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: talk you.
- 1:08:04Speaker 7: But yeah, that that is the last thing that I
- 1:08:08Speaker 7: wanted to put out there some more people could know,
- 1:08:12Speaker 7: and then that was about it. I asked around if
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: people had questions or confusions about the campaign, and this
- 1:08:20Speaker 7: was what we gathered. If you really care to know
- 1:08:24Speaker 7: a breakdown of every single tier, you can go read
- 1:08:28Speaker 7: it on the game found or you can go listen
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: to Hero's Guide to his Gartha rattle off every tier.
- 1:08:35Speaker 7: But we're not going to do that because by the
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: time you're listening to this, it will be Friday or later.
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: So it'll be Friday, the Wookie will be hungover playing
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: key Forge. It'll be a good time. It'll be my
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: first You guys are ready for this. I just want
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: to I just want to kind of preface this, give
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: you guys kind of an idea. Right My last day
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: off from work was October eighth, It is now November second.
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: My first day off will be Wednesday, November fifth, to
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: head up to to head to Minnesota. That is almost
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: a thirty day stretch. That has bananas. That is crazy.
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: That's too much work.
- 1:09:26Speaker 7: That is crazy.
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: That's that's crazy. But it's not.
- 1:09:29Speaker 8: Exactly like you're going to be resting at the key Forge.
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: My whoever won't be that's for sure. All right.
- 1:09:38Speaker 7: Well, only other thing we had planned was talking about
- 1:09:41Speaker 7: some events real quick. I can already hear in Wikie's
- 1:09:45Speaker 7: voice that he's saying to skip the lowreer.
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: Oh we have war.
- 1:09:51Speaker 7: We've had the Copellia lawyer.
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: Copelli has been up there like the last four weeks.
- 1:09:56Speaker 7: Yeah, if you really want to hear us.
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: Her anyways, you really want.
- 1:10:03Speaker 7: To hear us read the beg us in the comments.
- 1:10:06Speaker 7: So that wiki lets us out of lower prison events.
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:11Speaker 7: Another another exciting thing, Uh, the a Wall events are
- 1:10:16Speaker 7: up that and you see has a bunch of stuff
- 1:10:19Speaker 7: going on. There's a couple other I think pretty consistent
- 1:10:22Speaker 7: tournaments that are up and coming. Once again. They like
- 1:10:30Speaker 7: they like to say that there is no leader. It's
- 1:10:34Speaker 7: a different person for every tournament basically, so either Pandy
- 1:10:39Speaker 7: Andy or Chili or Meltdown or someone else. But they
- 1:10:45Speaker 7: have their their own discord server.
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: If all right, Well you know what, search it out.
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: Hats off to you, and you see, they are my
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: favorite bunch of altered people. I'm not gonna lie to nobody.
- 1:10:56Speaker 7: Yeah, but you should bring back normal Blitz because I
- 1:10:59Speaker 7: don't want to play and you see, so bring back blitz.
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: What is wrong with the end you see it?
- 1:11:09Speaker 7: I mean, there's nothing wrong with it. I just don't
- 1:11:10Speaker 7: want to play in it.
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: But why as soon as I.
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: Have un because I want to play my unique.
- 1:11:18Speaker 6: Exactly whatever losers Anyways, So ACE Altered Corners hosted event
- 1:11:29Speaker 6: will return on November eleventh.
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: This is not fully out there yet, but we're going
- 1:11:36Speaker 7: to be moving to six thirty pm Central Time, so
- 1:11:41Speaker 7: just a half an hour later. If you are in
- 1:11:44Speaker 7: the EU and you are already playing in it, it's
- 1:11:46Speaker 7: not really that much of a difference because it is
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: the shortest tournament you can play basically hours. Yes, Tuesdays at.
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: Six How do I move that to Wednesdays?
- 1:12:02Speaker 7: We don't. We don't play play in a wall.
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: Listen. I was asking for a friend, Okay, I was
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: just yeah.
- 1:12:10Speaker 7: Also, first time I am announcing this. The first place
- 1:12:15Speaker 7: for the season will get a chibi mat that I
- 1:12:20Speaker 7: am bringing all the way from Paris at Worlds, so
- 1:12:23Speaker 7: you can win that. So how you get points is
- 1:12:27Speaker 7: you play in events, you win games. The more you win,
- 1:12:30Speaker 7: the more you play, the more you get and then
- 1:12:32Speaker 7: at the end of the season, whoever has the most
- 1:12:35Speaker 7: points will get the chibi mat and then there will
- 1:12:37Speaker 7: be other prizes announced later on and always as usual,
- 1:12:44Speaker 7: you can go to Altered Corner dot com for information
- 1:12:46Speaker 7: on events and stuff. And I need to spend some
- 1:12:49Speaker 7: more time on that this week again now that I'm.
- 1:12:52Speaker 3: Bad, Now how the winner might get some jewels from
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: the loover. That's a rumor. I'm starting, no comment, no comment,
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: and I've.
- 1:13:02Speaker 7: Been I've been cleared of all suspicion for now.
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: Like I said, it's a rumor I'm starting. So if
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: you want some crown, you know, it would be great.
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: I'm gonna send you some like fake jewels that you
- 1:13:13Speaker 3: can send us some of the winners there you go,
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: or real ones the world may never know. That's that's
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: all I had planned. Don't look at me like that anyways.
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: That's gonna do it for us this week. Thank you
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: guys all for coming on in. Don't forget head over
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: to the Patreon where you can. You two can get
- 1:13:36Speaker 3: the episodes early if you so desire and you're into
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: that sort of thing. It does help Cole pay for
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: all the things that he does for the altered community
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: already for free. But you know, if you could put
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: a couple of dollars into help in it. That would
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: be awesome. Make sure you go to w dot gg
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: use code draw better for all your energy drink needs.
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: Get smarts. It's pretty good. M And with that being said,
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: we'll see you all maybe next week.
- 1:14:08Speaker 7: We'll see sometime in the future, maybe.
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: I'll do something, Maybe I'll do something drunk from from
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: from from from from Minnesota, but maybe maybe not. But
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: we'll see you all next week. Dish that we'll see you.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: People have coffee. Let me be clear in the darker
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: night is the fact you should lean. I have only
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: one question before week night. You should dance with the devil.
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: And I got my dread
