- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Jacksonville Jack Wars fans, welcome in to do Vault Daily Prisoner by Jinjag.com.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Jordan Deluga.
- 0:04[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks so much for being here Wednesday, April 1st.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_00]: And no, this is not a joke.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_00]: No fool.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_00]: And Jacksonville Jack Wars will be playing there entire 2027 home slate in Orlando.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_00]: which this news came yesterday at the NFL's annual owners meetings in Arizona and it was a unanimous decision by the owners for the Jaguars to play those home games in 2027 in Orlando.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_00]: And this really comes as no surprise at all.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_00]: This was fully expected Orlando camping world stadium was expected to be the home of the Jaguars home games in 2027.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_00]: while the Jaguar's stadium of the future is being completed for the 2028 season.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to dive into it, really appreciate y'all being here.

- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: And you can also hit that high button on YouTube, really appreciate y'all support.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: So once again, Jaguar's will be playing their 2027 home slate.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_00]: Orlando instead of Jacksonville because the jaguars will be completing getting the stadium of the future ready for the 20, 20, eight season when they will be fully operational, fully functional and in a,
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: Basically brand new stadium.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_00]: Will it have some of the same bones?
- 1:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, it absolutely will, but it will be unrecognizable to people who have gone to been going to Jack Horkham since 20, or something like 20, 1995 for the last 31 years.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot to this, like, uh, from a football standpoint,
- 2:00[SPEAKER_00]: just a lot to do to move the operation like on a weekly basis when they're actually at home, right?
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: So that shouldn't have any real negative tangible impact in my mind on the players too much.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's a quick drive down there, it's not a big deal.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously from like equipment staff and all that that's going to be a whole big different thing that they have to do, but I think that the jag wars have, you know, world class people in that building, so I'm not too concerned about that.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_00]: I am just, you know, Again, from a football standpoint, in 2026, you have 11 of your 17 home games away from Jacksonville.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_00]: and in 2027 there's not even any games in Jacksonville.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_00]: So it's just one of those things where that's a little bit of a hurdle, but it's a necessary hurdle I believe just based on the fact that this stadium of the futures is what's keeping part of what's keeping the Jaguars in Jacksonville for the foreseeable future the next 30 years.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_00]: And so
- 3:14[SPEAKER_00]: This is not like some unprecedented situation where a team has to go play away from their home stadium while they're building or rebuilding or revamping a stadium.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's happened many, many times throughout NFL history, it will continue to happen.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's not something that I think fans should necessarily be upset about.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_00]: Not about, I think it's something they should be excited about, right?
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: Cause you're getting that brand new stadium, it's going to be awesome.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_00]: Size wise, the new stadium is going to probably better fit what Jacksonville's population is looking like.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_00]: They had one of the larger stadiums for a long time.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_00]: And one of the smallest NFL markets didn't kind of mesh, obviously, Florida, Georgia was a big factor in wanting to have the biggest stadium they could possibly have as well.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: But look, this new stadium, it looks gorgeous in the renderings, they're at work on it already, they've been doing staircases, infrastructure, all sorts of stuff.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_00]: So that's going to be really exciting for 2028.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: And for 2026, I mean, you hope that the Jags,
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: earn another home game right in the playoffs and fans get to have another home game in that way that would be great from a fan perspective in Jacksonville just being able to have as many games in this stadium as possible when you're only going to have six slated in the regular season there will be two preseason home games which you know
- 4:45[SPEAKER_00]: Preseason is what it is, right?
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, six games in 2026, all the games in 2027 in Orlando, it kind of been like,
- 4:55[SPEAKER_00]: the NFL's worst kept secret that this was going to happen that Orlando was going to be the the winner basically of of being able to host those jackwards home games in twenty twenty seven it had been between Orlando and Gainesville there had been talks about both plays I mean I think there was talks about Daytona and different things as well but it seemed like Gainesville Orlando is what made the most sense and it's been
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: reported and rumored that it was going to be Orlando for a very long time.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: The NFL owners just had to approve it and they did approve it unanimously.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: The jags have come out and you know done their PR stuff and social media stuff about being very excited about Orlando and I think that the Jaguar should be excited to potentially tap into that market a little bit more from a
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: business standpoint.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, a lot of fans from around Orlando are going to get to go to those games and have a much closer drive than Jacksonville.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_00]: And so maybe you capture a portion of the Orlando
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: Orlando community and then they become lifelong jaguar as fans and they come up to Jacksonville for games after the twenty twenty seven season.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_00]: So it's definitely something the jaguars are leaning into kind of you know the community aspect of it and they should be and I think it's something that Orlando is obviously very excited about as well and they should be.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: I mean you've got NFL football in Orlando.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a chance for for that city to show what they can do.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: show how they can support.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: And obviously, I think there's going to be a lot of jacks fans that drive down from jacksonville to those games.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure I'll be down at some of them.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 6:43[SPEAKER_00]: They definitely have an opportunity in Orlando to support the team and show that maybe they're ready for another professional sports team in that city.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure that they are, they're not, but that's certainly something that you hear a lot about Orlando being interested in having another major league sports team.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_00]: But Jacksonville, Jacksonville, Jaguars, they're locked in for 30 years in Jacksonville,
- 7:14[SPEAKER_00]: moment in time here where there's just not going to be very many games in Jacksonville for a couple years.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: It is what it is.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: After that, it's going to be locked and loaded tons of games in Jacksonville every single year for your Jaguars in a brand new stadium that has like really cool kind of transparent luminescent.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: Roof on top, but it's still open air.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: The renderings again look absolutely insane.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be unrecognizable So I can't wait to finally see the end result there, but yeah, you're not going to get to see a lot of football from Trevor Lawrence in company in Jacksonville from 2026 to 2027 That is what it is.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's definitely a necessary kind of I don't want to call it a necessary evil because but you understand what I'm saying like it's just one of those things where the jags
- 8:01[SPEAKER_00]: They got to do what they got to do to make sure this stadium gets done, going to Orlando for a year, and playing more games away from Jacksonville in 2026, and they normally do.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's how they're getting it done.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: Let me know what your thoughts are on the jackwars playing in Orlando for the 2027 season in the comment section below.
