- 0:16SPEAKER_00: Happy to be here.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: It's Monday, always a little bit of a rough start.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: We had a nine-second opening, but we weren't seeing ourselves, so we didn't say anything.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: Here we go.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: Let's go and see what she has to say for this last Monday of September, 2026.

- 0:34SPEAKER_00: I think we just have a couple of them.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: Uh, in 1968, the Beatles' anthem, Hey Jude, went to number one on the U.S.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: charts.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: It stayed there for nine weeks.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: 1972, the Temptation Psychedelic Soul Song, Papa Was a Rollin' Stone.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: Hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and it won three Grammy Awards.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: 1976 TV Wonders 18th studio double album, Songs in the Key of Life.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: I may still have that.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: Featuring the wonderful song Sir Duke and Isn't She Lovely?
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Very, very favorite song.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: And 1991, Garth Brooks Ropin't the Wind was the first country album to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 pop chart.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: So there, let's see what she really has to say today.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: What would you pay for this?
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: It was found at a an estate sale in Michigan by a bargain hunter.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: I don't have his name.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: And he looked in the right-hand corner and saw the the signature Abercrombie 51 with an apostrophe before fifty-one, like 1951.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: Then he went to a Gertrude Abercrombie exhibition, the surrealist artist, in Milwaukee, and he saw a picture of this painting that he had bought for 30 bucks.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: Turns out she had given the painting, which she called Alderman Merriam's Shells, to a doctor in 1952 as payment for a medical operation.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: How about that?
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: Well, it's been authenticated and it's going on auction at Freeman's starting on October 1st, a couple of days from now.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: It's estimated to fetch between$150,000 and$250,000.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: So be careful when you go to a garage sale.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: Look in the corners of the garage sale, the driveway, the house, and look in the corners of the painting or anything else that looks interesting.

- 3:00SPEAKER_00: Been around since a fellow came home to a lot of ironing, and he was a rock climber, and he went back up and took the ironing board with him in the UK, of course.
