  All right, guys, let's get started with today's episode. It's quite simple.

  How often when you go into work, when you find your parking spot,

  you find those that park directly next to you.
• 2:09
  Yet there's many spots around you to the left or front of you.
• 2:12
  But for some reason, they choose to park right next to you.
• 2:16
  And when they park next to you, they park so close, you can barely open your door.
• 2:22
  Yes, that is happening to me consistently, which is really interesting because
• 2:26
  it's the same person doing it.
• 2:29
  And I'm getting to the point now where I'm thinking, should I just,
• 2:32
  when that person finally parks there, just pull away and find another spot?
• 2:37
  I don't know. I, you know, I feel bad about doing that, but I think that I'm
• 2:41
  more worried about the car getting scratched.
• 2:44
  I'm not one of those people that worry so much to say, oh my God,
• 2:47
  you know, this person, you know, there's something on the car. I got to get a wash.
• 2:50
  But man, it is clearly blatant that the person needs my vehicle to kind of guide
• 2:56
  them into their parking space.
• 2:58
  Well I mean have you all been in that situation do you feel as if people just
• 3:03
  end up parking next to you so close that you're like wow man I mean I I'm not
• 3:08
  that skinny you know so I need a little bit of uh you know wiggle room I gotta
• 3:12
  breathe before I get out of my car I started thinking about that with the words like.
• 3:18
  Feeling enclosed, feeling so tight and so almost like claustrophobic.
• 3:24
  And I remember back in my 20s when I would finally find somebody that I thought
• 3:30
  was really cool and I would date them.
• 3:32
  I worried so much about what other people said or thought that I felt as if I was suffocating.
• 3:42
  I felt as if I had to choose or make decisions based on what other people would think.
• 3:49
  And what I've learned as you get older, you need to concentrate on yourself.
• 3:53
  Yes, of course, we have to be understanding of our environment and others and
• 3:58
  what we say, because remember, it's not what you say, it's how you say it.

  But the factors that, you know, that remain in place are we have to respect each other.
• 4:08
  We have to understand that decisions that we do make can affect or have a ripple
• 4:13
  effect on yourself or people that you work with or even in your family.
• 4:18
  So what do we do in these situations?

  Well, just like I explained to you this morning, I prayed about it.
• 4:25
  I said, well, if this happens again, I am just going to respectfully probably move my vehicle.
• 4:30
  Why? Because it is concerning to me. It is making me feel a little bit uncomfortable,
• 4:34
  but also I have a choice to park elsewhere instead of the same spot or the same
• 4:40
  area that quite honestly could be that person's spot.
• 4:44
  So I've done that this morning. I've chosen a different spot.
• 4:47
  I'm live right now in the parking lot and I haven't seen that similar person,
• 4:52
  but I'll tell you if it does happen where that person parks next to me,
• 4:55
  that's going to feel really interesting and awkward.
• 4:58
  So think about that as you go about your day. I guess the message really is
• 5:02
  this, Concentrate on yourself.
• 5:05
  Put God first, your family second, and always remember that no matter what choices
• 5:12
  you do make, God is going to be behind you no matter what.
• 5:16
  However, let's stay to those close to the Bible as possible.
• 5:20
  I say it like that and I get always in trouble by certain pastors.
• 5:23
  They say, why do you say it like that? I'm like, well, it's very hard to live
• 5:28
  your life exactly like the way the Bible wants us to.
• 5:31
  I'm not saying it's not doable. I'm saying that just take baby steps.
• 5:35
  Don't take giant leaps one day at a time, one action at a time.
• 5:41
  Be patient and don't allow others to steal your joy. And that's all I've got today.

  Let's pray. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

  Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

  Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
• 6:03
  those that trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation.
• 6:07
  Deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever. Amen.

  Heavenly Father, we ask you at this time to watch over the first responders
• 6:18
  and firefighters and police and fire and rescue and all those that are trying
• 6:22
  to battle these fires in Californias.
• 6:24
  We lift up in prayer all those that have lost their homes, all those that have lost lives.
• 6:29
  And we ask you, Lord, to continue to watch over this country and to allow these
• 6:34
  political officers and future presidents and vice presidents to just find a
• 6:39
  way to get along so that we can try our part,
• 6:42
  to do our part, to make this world a better place.
• 6:45
  We know it's not a perfect place. We know that we're not all perfect,
• 6:48
  but we know that if we work together and be patient with one another, things will find out.
• 6:55
  You'll find that things are just a lot easier to work with.
• 6:58
  We pray for churches and ministries and congregations, pastors,
• 7:02
  and we pray for all of the half-faith, let it begin, family members,
• 7:07
  especially ones that listen to us every single day, like Carol and Dennis and
• 7:12
  Yesenia and of course Mansa and Dylan.
• 7:17
  And we pray for Liz, Brian and John, for Nick and Diane, for Tom and Denise.

  And we just continue to lift up our prayer.
• 7:27
  Our aunts and uncles, like my Aunt Madeline, who listens to us also.

  We pray for our grandparents, our parents, our nieces and nephews,
• 7:35
  our children, our wives and husbands and spouses.

  We pray for each of every one of you that listened to our show.

  We pray for Chip and we pray for Addison. We pray for Madison.
