- 0:04Speaker 1: Launch Control, this is Houston.
- 0:06Speaker 2: We are going to launch.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Five, four, three, two, one.
- 0:16Speaker 4: That's Chris X Radio.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Chris X Radio.
- 0:20Speaker 5: What we need right now is a clear message to
- 0:23Speaker 5: the people of this country.
- 0:24Speaker 6: This message must be read in every newspaper, heard on
- 0:27Speaker 6: every radio, seen.
- 0:28Speaker 7: On every television.
- 0:30Speaker 8: This message must resound throughout the entire intelligence.
- 0:33Speaker 9: And now, your host.
- 0:34Speaker 10: I believe this is going to be our finest hour.
- 0:37Speaker 7: Chris X.
- 0:43Speaker 11: With Tim Curry, but we're going to have some fun
- 0:45Speaker 11: because he was a very talented actor. He played in,
- 0:48Speaker 11: was Home Alone 2. I mean, he was in a
- 0:51Speaker 11: ton of movies. A lot of movies you don't realize.
- 0:55Speaker 11: He was in Clue, I do believe. But he was
- 0:58Speaker 11: also in a movie that was really big when I
- 1:01Speaker 11: was a kid, like in high school, but actually before
- 1:03Speaker 11: high school. He was in a movie called The Rocky
- 1:07Speaker 11: Horror Picture Show. where he will start along with a
- 1:13Speaker 11: very young Barry Bostwick, which is hilarious because the guy
- 1:16Speaker 11: looks completely different, which many do.
- 1:19Speaker 7: Susan Sarandon, she was in it.
- 1:22Speaker 11: Meatloaf, which reminds me of our new guy, Transloaf, who
- 1:25Speaker 11: didn't get elected in Maine, but I still miss Transloaf.
- 1:30Speaker 7: And then, of course, Tim Curry played Dr. Frankenfurter.
- 1:35Speaker 11: Now that he has passed on, he did it not
- 1:36Speaker 11: only in the movie, but I guess he did it
- 1:37Speaker 11: on Broadway or something along those lines.
- 1:40Speaker 7: He did it live. And he was Tim.
- 1:42Speaker 11: Curry was so good because he was clearly a man.
- 1:46Speaker 11: He was fairly masculine, but he had a wonderful baritone voice.
- 1:51Speaker 11: And he was an excellent singer. And now he had
- 1:53Speaker 11: had some health issues in the last few years. He
- 1:56Speaker 11: had had a stroke and was wheelchair bound. And then
- 1:58Speaker 11: he was 80 years old and he passed away. Honestly,
- 2:01Speaker 11: I wasn't sure if he was still alive. And I
- 2:03Speaker 11: did a show talking about him not too long ago.
- 2:07Speaker 11: Because I do believe now that he's gone, this would
- 2:10Speaker 11: be a great opportunity for for James Talafrico once he
- 2:13Speaker 11: doesn't win here in the state of Texas, God willing,
- 2:17Speaker 11: that with his theater background, because he was a theater
- 2:19Speaker 11: kid in school, he could easily fill the role of Dr.
- 2:23Speaker 11: Frankenfurter from the Rocky Horror Picture Show. So in honor
- 2:28Speaker 11: of that, this is the only thing I'm going to
- 2:30Speaker 11: do from Tim Curry, but we would be remiss if
- 2:34Speaker 11: we didn't play At least Tim's. Oh, there you go.
- 2:37Speaker 7: His voice was just so deep.
- 2:39Speaker 9: This performance is incredible if you've seen the movie.
- 3:08Speaker 11: Taylor made roll for James Talafrico. That baritone voice just
- 3:12Speaker 11: makes it.
- 3:12Speaker 7: Let me show you a ride.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Maybe play you a song.
- 3:16Speaker 6: You look like you're both pretty groovy.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Or if you want something visceral that's not too abysmal.
- 3:40Speaker 12: We could take in an old Steve Reeves movie.
- 3:45Speaker 13: 1975.
- 3:45Speaker 4: Could we use your phone?
- 3:49Speaker 7: That's Barry Boswick.
- 3:50Speaker 4: We're both in a bit of a hurry.
- 3:51Speaker 13: Right.
- 3:52Speaker 11: There's Susan Sarandon.
- 3:53Speaker 14: Say where we are, then go back to the car.
- 3:56Speaker 4: We don't want to be anywhere in time.
- 4:01Speaker 15: How about that?
- 4:03Speaker 9: Hilarious.
- 4:05Speaker 4: It's 1975, by the way.
- 4:07Speaker 1: You never need.
- 4:08Speaker 11: A satanic mechanic. From Transsexual Jezebelia.
- 4:33Speaker 7: What a great voice.
- 4:46Speaker 2: So hilarious.
- 4:47Speaker 11: Who knew this would be like the norm nowadays?
- 4:52Speaker 16: Yeah, I think.
- 5:13Speaker 7: I think low-key Tallarico is perfect for this part. Now,
- 5:20Speaker 7: once again, I'm going to get in trouble with the censors.
- 5:22Speaker 7: Come up to the lab and see what's on the slab.
- 5:28Speaker 2: I see you shiver with anticipation.
- 5:34Speaker 17: But maybe the race.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Is really to blame So I'll remove the cause That.
- 5:46Speaker 7: Laugh But not the symptom.
- 5:52Speaker 11: Now, for those who've seen the movie, which should be everybody,
- 5:54Speaker 11: at least at this point, I remember they used to
- 5:56Speaker 11: have the midnight showings of the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
- 5:59Speaker 11: And that was where people would go and throw things
- 6:02Speaker 11: against the screen and quote lines back to the movie.
- 6:05Speaker 11: It was a weird time back in the 70s. But
- 6:08Speaker 11: that came out in 75. I didn't see it until
- 6:11Speaker 11: probably somewhere in the 80s. And once again, I was
- 6:14Speaker 11: a kid, so I think it was rated R. So
- 6:17Speaker 11: I think we had to sneak in one night to
- 6:18Speaker 11: go see it. But the movie is hilarious. The performance
- 6:23Speaker 11: by Tim Curry, running around, he's wearing like women's lingerie,
- 6:27Speaker 11: parading around, singing. He's got this makeup on. And in
- 6:31Speaker 11: a weird sort of way, he kind of looks like
- 6:33Speaker 11: Susan Sarandon. When Susan Sarandon got older and was wearing
- 6:37Speaker 11: more makeup, it was weird. Anyway, but he's clearly got
- 6:42Speaker 11: a very baritone voice.
- 6:44Speaker 7: And him playing Dr. Frankenfurter, which is hilarious.
- 6:50Speaker 11: And once again, and who knew back in 1975, this
- 6:53Speaker 11: was a hilarious scene from a movie that, by the way,
- 6:55Speaker 11: the soundtrack to the Rocky Horror Picture Show is fantastic.
- 7:02Speaker 11: Do the Time Warp. The Time Warp is a great song. Now,
- 7:05Speaker 11: I'm not going to play all of that.
- 7:07Speaker 7: But I just.
- 7:08Speaker 11: Remember everybody going and seeing and just being a kid,
- 7:11Speaker 11: seeing that, I'm just like, what the hell is going on?
- 7:14Speaker 11: What is this dude running around in women's underwear for?
- 7:18Speaker 11: But it's hilarious. But he was very talented. He also
- 7:21Speaker 11: played in Home Alone 2 and did other movies. Like
- 7:24Speaker 11: I said, he was a very talented actor. And he
- 7:27Speaker 11: had a great voice. He voiced a lot of video
- 7:30Speaker 11: games and animated movies and TV shows and just a
- 7:34Speaker 11: ton of stuff. If you go through and look through
- 7:36Speaker 11: his IMDb page, you'll just see, wow. But that was
- 7:41Speaker 11: always probably my favorite role next to the movie Legend,
- 7:45Speaker 11: where he played the devil, or a devil. That featured
- 7:49Speaker 11: a very young Tom Cruise and Mia Sara from Ferris.
- 7:53Speaker 7: Bueller's Day Off. Sloan Peterson. See, this is the 80s
- 7:57Speaker 7: for you folks. But that's a great movie.
- 8:01Speaker 11: But the Satan outfit that they gave him was incredible
- 8:06Speaker 11: for the movie legend.
- 8:08Speaker 7: But, of course, with that sort of a baritone voice,
- 8:10Speaker 7: he could play it off. So, he's a great actor.
- 8:14Speaker 11: And he played a lot of comedic roles. So, he's
- 8:17Speaker 11: a very talented actor. Anyway, so he's the third. That
- 8:19Speaker 11: means no more. All right, 2026, we're done.
- 8:21Speaker 7: No more of these.
- 8:22Speaker 11: Famous, and there's some really famous old people. I was
- 8:25Speaker 11: listening to Dana go through the list a little while ago.
- 8:29Speaker 11: But I think that, once again, through tragedy comes opportunity,
- 8:33Speaker 11: and I think this is a good opportunity for James
- 8:36Speaker 11: Loti Tallarico. There's the latest ad.
- 8:38Speaker 4: The Democrats have a weird, a weird cat today.
- 8:43Speaker 14: God is non-binary. There are many more than two biological sexes.
- 8:49Speaker 14: In fact, there are six. It is now existential that
- 8:52Speaker 14: We try to reduce our meat consumption. The American flag
- 8:56Speaker 14: is such a complicated symbol for most of us. Prophetic
- 8:58Speaker 14: voices like Jesus have helped me reckon with my own whiteness,
- 9:02Speaker 14: my own masculinity. Our southern border should be like our
- 9:05Speaker 14: front porch. There should be a giant welcome mat out front.
- 9:09Speaker 14: No need to sit and cry over, you know, your
- 9:12Speaker 14: whiteness or your masculinity. They're going to call me a
- 9:15Speaker 14: radical leftist.
- 9:16Speaker 17: Something that you love that's not family or friends.
- 9:20Speaker 14: I love, and I'm just saying this because it's on
- 9:22Speaker 14: my mind, the trans children.
- 9:26Speaker 4: Just a sweet transvestite. A weird candidate.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Low-T Tallarico, too weak for Texas.
- 9:35Speaker 7: Yeah, he's a little weak for Texas.
- 9:38Speaker 11: Hopefully the Paxton campaign can start running some ads to
- 9:41Speaker 11: offset the blitz of ads that we have gotten. Also
- 9:45Speaker 11: today on the program, we got Remy. I've played some
- 9:47Speaker 11: of his stuff in the past. He's very talented and
- 9:49Speaker 11: very funny. He's got a parody of Ella Langley's Choose
- 9:52Speaker 11: in Texas. So we can get to that. But anyway,
- 9:56Speaker 11: but Godspeed, Tim Curry, very talented actor.
- 9:58Speaker 7: We lost Doug.
- 10:00Speaker 11: Yesterday and then him today or yesterday or the day before, whatever.
- 10:04Speaker 11: And then, of course, last week we lost the drummer
- 10:06Speaker 11: for ZZ Top, Frank Beard, the only guy in the
- 10:09Speaker 11: band without a beard. So we can talk a little
- 10:11Speaker 11: bit about that. Also, President Trump has announced that the
- 10:14Speaker 11: Navy has removed all mines from the Strait of Hormuz.
- 10:19Speaker 11: He added that the United States has been using Space
- 10:22Speaker 11: Force capabilities to watch every square inch of the straight.
- 10:28Speaker 11: This is why it is so interesting. And once one
- 10:30Speaker 11: of the things that we needed was the Space Force,
- 10:32Speaker 11: because with the satellites and the abilities that we have nowadays,
- 10:36Speaker 11: you can zoom in on a square inch and it's
- 10:39Speaker 11: pretty amazing. The president, well, the Trump administration is now
- 10:46Speaker 11: warning that the Kennedy Center, if it doesn't get renovations,
- 10:50Speaker 11: may need to be demolished.
- 10:51Speaker 7: Apparently, it is very old and really needs a lot
- 10:54Speaker 7: of work.
- 10:55Speaker 11: And if we don't, then it could be condemned and
- 10:56Speaker 11: would have to be demolished.
- 10:58Speaker 7: So, of course, lefties are losing their minds.
- 11:01Speaker 11: There's that lefty who was a Democrat who was talking
- 11:04Speaker 11: about blowing up the new ballroom they're building at.
- 11:07Speaker 7: The White House. I remember when that was an insurrection.
- 11:11Speaker 11: But, oh, well, a federal judge has struck down a
- 11:14Speaker 11: 2023 Texas law on Tuesday. Speaking of transsexual Texasvania, a
- 11:21Speaker 11: ruling that cannot enforce its drag show ban as it
- 11:25Speaker 11: violates First Amendment guarantees of the free speech. While its
- 11:28Speaker 11: definitions were so broad, they say the guy said that
- 11:32Speaker 11: would put late Dolly Parton behind bars. No, Dolly Parton
- 11:37Speaker 11: was was actually kind of wholesome. She loved everybody. She
- 11:43Speaker 11: was not a dirtbag politician like this Judge David Hittner.
- 11:50Speaker 7: But anyway, so we can get into that.
- 11:51Speaker 11: In a statement on X, Attorney General Ken Paxton wrote
- 11:55Speaker 11: that he would immediately appeal Hittner's ruling, said it's profoundly
- 12:00Speaker 11: a flawed decision that endangers children and is a front
- 12:03Speaker 11: to Texas values. Once again, just like Sweet transvestite, Tallarico. Also,
- 12:11Speaker 11: the Texas Attorney General, of course, he's a Republican Senate candidate,
- 12:16Speaker 11: released an AI data center plan on Monday calling for
- 12:18Speaker 11: a federal legislation to block Chinese technology in these facilities
- 12:24Speaker 11: and criminal liability for centers that power AI chatbots that
- 12:27Speaker 11: could possibly harm children.
- 12:29Speaker 7: We can get into that.
- 12:31Speaker 11: Also, Ken Paxton announced a settlement today with Meta Platforms
- 12:35Speaker 11: that will provide more than $ 1 billion to the state
- 12:38Speaker 11: of Texas while requiring the company to implement new safeguards
- 12:42Speaker 11: aimed at protecting children. Paxton previously secured a $ 1. 4 billion
- 12:49Speaker 11: settlement with Meta over allegations that the company unlawfully collected
- 12:54Speaker 11: and used Texans' biometric data. He also finalized a $ 1. 375
- 13:00Speaker 11: billion settlement with Google related to allegations that the company
- 13:04Speaker 11: violated Texans' privacy rights.
- 13:07Speaker 7: No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 13:08Speaker 11: I'm not going to vote for that guy. I'm going
- 13:10Speaker 11: to vote for the trans kid-obsessed weirdo. Loti Tallarico. And
- 13:18Speaker 11: if we get time on Tuesday's broadcast of CNN's Inside Politics,
- 13:22Speaker 11: Representative Josh Gottheimer, a Democrat out of New Jersey, has
- 13:26Speaker 11: declared that there's no way he is ever going to
- 13:29Speaker 11: come out and vote for El-Sayed right now because.
- 13:31Speaker 7: This guy hates Jews.
- 13:33Speaker 11: And obviously, I'm guessing, he's assuming maybe a Jewish guy.
- 13:37Speaker 11: But that's where the Democrat Party is headed. And yeah,
- 13:40Speaker 11: it falls right in with Loti Tallarico. I'm sorry, James...
- 13:44Speaker 11: All right, Taylor.
- 13:45Speaker 7: Let's take a break.

- 17:35Speaker 11: When I was a kid, I was one of those
- 17:37Speaker 11: little kids listening to this. Van Halen's Fair Warning. Loved
- 17:43Speaker 11: that album as soon as it came out as a kid.
- 17:45Speaker 11: I look back, I'm like, man, how many other young kids?
- 17:49Speaker 7: I know a lot of kids in the 80s, but
- 17:50Speaker 7: I was... Was this 1980?
- 17:51Speaker 23: 81, 82?
- 17:51Speaker 7: We were pretty young.
- 17:52Speaker 9: So.
- 17:59Speaker 7: Anyway, welcome back to Chris X Radio.
- 18:00Speaker 11: Glad to have you here on our hum day edition
- 18:02Speaker 11: of the program. A lot going on today. As I mentioned,
- 18:05Speaker 11: once again, Tim Curry has passed away. He was, like
- 18:08Speaker 11: I said, a very good actor, talented voice actor as well, singer.
- 18:12Speaker 11: He was a star in the cult movie, The Rocky
- 18:14Speaker 11: Horror Picture Show. And that's sort of kind of how
- 18:17Speaker 11: I always remember him. He was young and he was
- 18:20Speaker 11: very funny in that movie, which is, it's a movie
- 18:23Speaker 11: I haven't watched in probably 40 years, at least 40 years.
- 18:28Speaker 11: which makes me feel old. He also played in the
- 18:32Speaker 11: movie It. He was the evil clown Pennywise. And he
- 18:36Speaker 11: was terrifying in that part because he just had that
- 18:40Speaker 11: great baritone voice.
- 18:41Speaker 7: He was a great singer.
- 18:42Speaker 11: He starred in Home Alone 2. Anyway, he's passed away
- 18:46Speaker 11: at the age of 80. So he also played in Clue.
- 18:48Speaker 11: He was very funny in Clue. And he played in
- 18:51Speaker 11: a lot of movies where he had those little funny
- 18:52Speaker 11: bit parts. But he was an incredible voice actor. He
- 18:57Speaker 11: was in a bunch of those things.
- 18:59Speaker 7: And he had had.
- 19:01Speaker 11: Some health issues in recent years. So he'd been confined
- 19:06Speaker 11: to a wheelchair for at least two or three years,
- 19:08Speaker 11: probably longer. And he'd had other health issues. So he
- 19:12Speaker 11: passed away also at the age of 80, which we
- 19:14Speaker 11: learned of Dolly Parton's passing at the age of 80 yesterday.
- 19:18Speaker 11: So and then we had Frank Beard. We lost the
- 19:19Speaker 11: week before. So very sad.
- 19:21Speaker 7: OK, so a lot going on. We're going to get
- 19:22Speaker 7: to your calls as well. 281-558-KSEV.
- 19:25Speaker 11: If you want to join us, 281-558-5738. President Trump has
- 19:30Speaker 11: announced that the Navy has removed all the mines from
- 19:33Speaker 11: the Strait of Hormuz and that if anyone attempts to
- 19:36Speaker 11: try to do anything, adding more mines.
- 19:39Speaker 7: That we control it.
- 19:40Speaker 11: Which at this point, it literally should be the case.
- 19:43Speaker 11: We should patrol it and we should be pounding any attempt.
- 19:46Speaker 11: Anything coming out of Iran should be blasted to high heaven.
- 19:51Speaker 11: And don't allow them to put any more, you know,
- 19:53Speaker 11: of course, send those little cheap drones or. Maybe they're
- 19:56Speaker 11: little wise guy boats, but not let them plant any
- 19:59Speaker 11: more mines. Continue patrolling and just take, you know, assume control.
- 20:02Speaker 11: And if we need to assess a charge, then.
- 20:05Speaker 7: There you go. Trump added that the U.S.
- 20:07Speaker 11: Was using Space Force capabilities to watch every square inch
- 20:12Speaker 11: of the strait, which shows where we are in the world.
- 20:17Speaker 11: This is a new world. We had the Star Wars
- 20:20Speaker 11: back in the 80s. Ronald Reagan and the movies. And then,
- 20:23Speaker 11: of course, now we're at Space Force. Now you're starting
- 20:26Speaker 11: to understand what this can do. They can monitor that
- 20:29Speaker 11: straight in real time. And any attempt to do anything
- 20:32Speaker 11: can be found on, you know, picked up on video. Well,
- 20:35Speaker 11: these satellites are unbelievable. I saw they can zoom in
- 20:38Speaker 11: on a license plate. That's how good they are. And
- 20:42Speaker 11: if they're zooming in on the video right now, you
- 20:44Speaker 11: can see my license plate, Chris X. Right next to
- 20:47Speaker 11: my xenomorph. So there I got SpaceX going on right
- 20:51Speaker 11: here in the studios. And of course, next to my
- 20:53Speaker 11: American flag guitar. So everything is represented. Trump has warned
- 20:57Speaker 11: also that the Kennedy Center may need demolition if it
- 21:00Speaker 11: doesn't get renovations because it could be condemned and they
- 21:04Speaker 11: really need. And he's already once again, he's already achieved
- 21:07Speaker 11: funding to get it done. Democrats are literally fighting him
- 21:10Speaker 11: on everything, including this dirtbag president.
- 21:13Speaker 7: I'm trying to remember who the dirtbag was.
- 21:16Speaker 11: The guy that said he wants to blow up the,
- 21:19Speaker 11: he's a Democrat, said he wants to blow up the ballroom.
- 21:25Speaker 11: Trump is building a ballroom for every president from this
- 21:28Speaker 11: point forward in the White House to use. It would
- 21:31Speaker 11: be good to have and good to use. But what,
- 21:33Speaker 11: of course, do we get Democrats? Oh, it's a Philadelphia D.A.,
- 21:37Speaker 11: He vows to keep ballroom rubble as a paperweight after
- 21:40Speaker 11: they blow it all up. Remember when that was called insurrection?
- 21:46Speaker 11: By the way, terrible flooding. I don't know if you
- 21:48Speaker 11: guys imagine you have. In Nepal, China, on the border,
- 21:53Speaker 11: they said 95 people have been confirmed dead, hundreds still missing.
- 21:56Speaker 11: This looks like a horrible CGI movie. It looks completely
- 22:00Speaker 11: unreal how terrifying this flooding is. These people had no chance.
- 22:05Speaker 11: It is literally coming over, looks like about a 10-story hotel,
- 22:08Speaker 11: and the water just goes directly all around it, encompassing
- 22:12Speaker 11: it and all of the people.
- 22:13Speaker 7: I've seen some other videos. They're terrifying. Absolutely terrifying. So
- 22:20Speaker 7: I was like, my lord. That is awful.
- 22:23Speaker 11: And then once again, we had another one of these
- 22:25Speaker 11: judges struck down the 2023 Texas law ruling that the
- 22:29Speaker 11: state cannot enforce its drag show ban as it violated
- 22:33Speaker 11: the First Amendment guarantee of free speech.
- 22:36Speaker 7: While its definitions were so broad, it.
- 22:38Speaker 11: Could have landed Dolly Parton behind bars.
- 22:40Speaker 7: Really? Really?
- 22:42Speaker 13: U.S.
- 22:43Speaker 7: District Judge David Hittner.
- 22:44Speaker 11: OK. Think you're going to lose this one in Texas,
- 22:48Speaker 11: by the way. Attorney General Ken Paxton said he would
- 22:52Speaker 11: immediately appeal Hittner's ruling. That's the other thing about Ken Paxton.
- 22:56Speaker 11: He has been so very successful as the state's attorney general.
- 23:04Speaker 11: Of course, he said this is profoundly flawed decision, endangers
- 23:07Speaker 11: our children and is an affront to Texas values. He
- 23:10Speaker 11: added he would continue to fight to protect our kids,
- 23:12Speaker 11: which looking it's amazing looking at the juxtaposition we now
- 23:17Speaker 11: have between him running for Senate, U.S. Senate, and then
- 23:20Speaker 11: the guys running against the Democrat nominee, James Talafrico, who
- 23:24Speaker 11: has literally ruled everything against Texans. He wants to open
- 23:29Speaker 11: the border, put a welcome mat, he said. You know,
- 23:35Speaker 11: the six genders, well, six sexes, which is all bad.
- 23:38Speaker 11: He's running a campaign against himself. And if not countered properly,
- 23:44Speaker 11: he will fool a lot of people into voting for him,
- 23:46Speaker 11: and then he will immediately go back to voting how
- 23:48Speaker 11: he did at the Texas House, which is a complete
- 23:52Speaker 11: leftist radical. And then also we got the attorney general
- 23:59Speaker 11: releasing his AI data center plan on Monday saying he's
- 24:02Speaker 11: going to calling for federal legislation to make sure we
- 24:04Speaker 11: block the Chinese technology in the facilities of these data centers.
- 24:10Speaker 11: And make sure that, you know, there are also criminal
- 24:13Speaker 11: liability for centers that power AI chat bots that actually
- 24:16Speaker 11: harm children.
- 24:17Speaker 7: OK. So Texas is staying on top of it. And then, OK,
- 24:22Speaker 7: once again.
- 24:24Speaker 11: The Attorney General announced a settlement with Meta Platforms today, Incorporated,
- 24:30Speaker 11: that will provide more than $ 1 billion to the state
- 24:33Speaker 11: of Texas. How much money has James Talofrico brought into
- 24:36Speaker 11: the state?
- 24:37Speaker 7: Oh, that's right.
- 24:38Speaker 11: The only money he's brought in goes into his campaign
- 24:40Speaker 11: to fool voters into thinking he's for Texas and he's
- 24:43Speaker 11: a moderate when he's not. But this is $ 1 billion
- 24:47Speaker 11: that goes straight to the state of Texas looking to
- 24:51Speaker 11: implement new safeguards aimed at protecting children on the platforms. Now,
- 24:55Speaker 11: people don't realize Ken Paxton previously secured a $ 1. 4 billion
- 25:00Speaker 11: settlement with Meta over the allegations that the company unlawfully
- 25:04Speaker 11: collected and used Texans' biometric data. He also finalized a $ 1. 375
- 25:10Speaker 11: billion settlement with Google related allegations that the company violated.
- 25:15Speaker 7: Texans' privacy rights.
- 25:16Speaker 24: No, no, no, no.
- 25:17Speaker 11: I'm going to vote for the trans-obsessed weirdo. I'm going
- 25:20Speaker 11: to vote for this guy.
- 25:22Speaker 4: The Democrats have a weird, a weird cat today.
- 25:26Speaker 14: God is non-binary. There are many more than two biological sexes.
- 25:32Speaker 14: In fact, there are six. It is now existential that
- 25:36Speaker 14: we try to reduce our meat consumption. The American flag
- 25:39Speaker 14: is such a complicated symbol for most of us. Prophetic
- 25:42Speaker 14: voices like Jesus have helped me reckon with my own whiteness,
- 25:45Speaker 14: my own masculinity. Our southern border should be like our
- 25:48Speaker 14: front porch. There should be a giant welcome mat. Out front,
- 25:52Speaker 14: no need to sit and cry over, you know, your
- 25:55Speaker 14: whiteness or your masculinity. They're going to call me a
- 25:58Speaker 14: radical leftist.
- 25:59Speaker 17: Something that you love that's not family or friends.
- 26:03Speaker 14: I love, and I'm just saying this because it's on
- 26:05Speaker 14: my mind, the trans children.
- 26:09Speaker 4: The Democrats have a weird, a weird candidate.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Low-T Tallarico, two weeks in Texas.
- 26:18Speaker 11: No, the guy's terrible.
- 26:20Speaker 7: He's absolutely so terrible.
- 26:21Speaker 11: He's so bad that he's having to spend one hundred
- 26:24Speaker 11: million dollars that they poured into the state to convince
- 26:27Speaker 11: people he's not what he truly is.
- 26:29Speaker 7: So people will vote for him.
- 26:30Speaker 11: And there are people that will vote for him because
- 26:32Speaker 11: they don't know he's a trans obsessed weirdo. Now he's
- 26:35Speaker 11: against trans surgeries on children.
- 26:38Speaker 9: What?
- 26:39Speaker 11: He's literally doing a 180 against everything that he said
- 26:42Speaker 11: and voted for in the statehouse. Everything that he's campaigned for,
- 26:46Speaker 11: everything that he's done, he's done a 180 now to convince.
- 26:50Speaker 7: We've seen this before. This is the Democrats' M.O. They
- 26:52Speaker 7: get in. They spend tons of money. They're all for
- 26:56Speaker 7: money in.
- 26:56Speaker 11: Democrat campaigns, but they want to, you know, campaign finance
- 26:58Speaker 11: reform for Republicans. But they spend tons of money convincing
- 27:03Speaker 11: people that they're not completely leftist, progressive, psychopath weirdos. And
- 27:09Speaker 11: he is a complete weirdo. By the way, he's got
- 27:13Speaker 11: some DEI job. That's all he... that once he tried
- 27:16Speaker 11: to pass legislation to force all of the large school
- 27:20Speaker 11: districts in Texas to have DEI programs, to hire DEI people,
- 27:24Speaker 11: which means, you know what that means, right? DEI stands
- 27:26Speaker 11: for diversity, equity, inclusion. What it means is we're going
- 27:30Speaker 11: to hire people without qualifications because we want to look
- 27:34Speaker 11: socially justice warrior-ish. That's what they do. So maybe I'm
- 27:44Speaker 11: going to vote for the guy that has secured over $ 3,
- 27:46Speaker 11: $ 4 billion for the state of Texas by making sure
- 27:50Speaker 11: these companies behave themselves and do that. Yeah, I think
- 27:53Speaker 11: I'm leaning towards that guy. Maybe it's just me. Maybe
- 27:56Speaker 11: it's just me.
- 27:59Speaker 7: All right, 281-558-KSCV. If you want to join us, 281-558-5738.
- 28:02Speaker 7: We had Joe.
- 28:03Speaker 11: I was out in Sugar Land, but it looked like
- 28:06Speaker 11: Joe dropped. So if you want to call us back, Joe,
- 28:08Speaker 11: I'll go to the phones here starting in the next segment.
- 28:11Speaker 7: But I'll take all of your calls if you.
- 28:12Speaker 11: Actually want to join us. 281-558-KSCV.
- 28:16Speaker 7: We got so much to get into today.
- 28:18Speaker 11: Once again, hopefully we've hit the third of the three
- 28:22Speaker 11: with Frank Beard passing away, the drummer for ZZ Top
- 28:25Speaker 11: last week, and then Dolly Parton we found out yesterday,
- 28:27Speaker 11: and then, of course, today we found out that Tim
- 28:30Speaker 11: Curry has passed away. So hopefully this is it for
- 28:34Speaker 11: a while.
- 28:35Speaker 7: I know this, once again, this is death. That is
- 28:39Speaker 7: a part of human existence. You live and you die.
- 28:43Speaker 7: All of us are going to be there at some point.
- 28:46Speaker 11: But it's just sad when you lose these people that
- 28:49Speaker 11: you've been watching your entire life.
- 28:51Speaker 7: All right, 281-558-KSEV. I'm Chris X. We'll be right back.
- 28:54Speaker 11: Don't go away.
- 29:03Speaker 2: You're listening to Chris X Radio.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Chris X Radio.
- 29:06Speaker 15: On The Voice of Texas.
- 29:08Speaker 6: The open enrollment period for medical plans is right around
- 29:11Speaker 6: the corner, so get some facts and your options. In
- 29:14Speaker 6: response to COVID-19, rates are expected to rise as high
- 29:17Speaker 6: as 40% in some states. Are you already paying exorbitant
- 29:20Speaker 6: Obamacare or HOBRA rates? Are you paying ridiculous rates for
- 29:24Speaker 6: your family on your work group plan? Are you going
- 29:26Speaker 6: without insurance because you can't find anything reasonable?
- 29:29Speaker 7: Your search is over.
- 29:30Speaker 11: Listen to your pal Chris Salcedo.
- 29:32Speaker 6: How does a zero-deductible, no-copay nationwide PPO plan sound? And
- 29:37Speaker 6: you can get it at half the cost. Keeping your
- 29:39Speaker 6: hard earned money.
- 29:30Speaker 11: We'll be right back.
- 29:55Speaker 6: Call 833-500-PLAN. That's 833-575-26. Or go to AmericanMedicalPlans.com. That's AmericanMedicalPlans.com.

- 30:13Speaker 13: Spreading the gospel is more than one voice speaking to
- 30:18Speaker 13: a million. It is and must continue to be a

- 31:39Speaker 25: From the KSEV Weather Center, tonight expect mainly clear skies
- 31:43Speaker 25: and very warm temperatures with a low of 80. Tomorrow
- 31:45Speaker 25: will be very warm with a mix of clouds and sun,
- 31:47Speaker 25: possibly leading to an afternoon thunderstorm in some areas reaching
- 31:50Speaker 25: a high of 100. Tomorrow night will be mostly cloudy
- 31:53Speaker 25: and humid with the chance of a thunderstorm, which could
- 31:55Speaker 25: impact visibility of the lunar eclipse with a low of 77.
- 31:59Speaker 25: Moving into Friday, anticipate mostly cloudy and humid conditions with
- 32:02Speaker 25: the possibility of a thunderstorm and a high of 94.
- 32:05Speaker 25: With the KSCV Weather Center forecast, I'm AccuWeather Meteorologist Jason Catarina.
- 32:15Speaker 2: And now, back to Chris X Radio on The Voice
- 32:19Speaker 2: of Texas.
- 32:24Speaker 26: I think we can still rock in America. We haven't
- 32:27Speaker 26: outlawed it yet, but if James Tallarico gets elected, I'm
- 32:36Speaker 26: sure he'll try.
- 32:49Speaker 7: I know the country western stars are still out there.
- 32:51Speaker 7: Some of them, I saw What's-His-Face.
- 32:55Speaker 11: Okay, Casualine, you're going to have to help me out
- 32:57Speaker 11: with this because I'm not hip with the kids anymore.
- 33:00Speaker 11: I was until about in the last 10 years, but
- 33:02Speaker 11: I'm not now. Is Jelly Roll a country star or
- 33:05Speaker 11: is he a pop star? First of all, he's got
- 33:08Speaker 11: a great name, Jelly Roll, but what is he? Is
- 33:11Speaker 11: he country? Is he rock?
- 33:12Speaker 7: Is he pop?
- 33:12Speaker 11: Is he rap? What is he?
- 33:14Speaker 10: The short answer is yes. He's kind of skirting the
- 33:16Speaker 10: lines between all of them.
- 33:19Speaker 11: Okay. And I guess that entails having tattoos on your
- 33:22Speaker 11: face and all that stuff.
- 33:24Speaker 10: Oh, he got those before jail and then in jail.
- 33:27Speaker 27: Okay.
- 33:30Speaker 11: And then one article referred to him as a Christian.
- 33:32Speaker 11: So is he born again Christian now that he's out
- 33:35Speaker 11: of jail?
- 33:35Speaker 7: Is that what it is?
- 33:36Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 33:36Speaker 10: That's what helped him formulate his poetry better. And, you know,
- 33:40Speaker 10: he seems to be turning around.
- 33:42Speaker 11: Okay.
- 33:43Speaker 7: Well, good for him.
- 33:43Speaker 11: He seems to turn around.
- 33:44Speaker 7: He went on. Was it SNL?
- 33:46Speaker 11: I don't know. He went on some show that I
- 33:47Speaker 11: don't watch because I don't watch trash TV anymore. And
- 33:50Speaker 11: apparently was making jokes about Donald Trump, call him a
- 33:52Speaker 11: fat pig or something. And a lot of people got
- 33:54Speaker 11: really upset with him. So they're mad at Jelly Roll,
- 33:58Speaker 11: which I am. Once again, I guess he used to
- 34:00Speaker 11: be really heavy, too, and lost a bunch of weight.
- 34:01Speaker 7: Is that true, too?
- 34:03Speaker 10: I mean, that's that's.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:05Speaker 9: Wow.
- 34:06Speaker 11: OK, so he lost a lot of weight. And I
- 34:08Speaker 11: saw before he did this, he was dating some woman.
- 34:11Speaker 11: On the interwebs. And then that went wrong. She was
- 34:14Speaker 11: either cheating on him. Whatever.
- 34:17Speaker 7: That shows you just how much I know.
- 34:18Speaker 11: I am so. I'm still once again. I'm still sad
- 34:22Speaker 11: about Tim Curry passing away. He was a great performer.
- 34:26Speaker 11: They don't make them like that anymore. Dolly Parton.
- 34:30Speaker 7: One of the most talented human beings on the planet.
- 34:33Speaker 11: Just passed away.
- 34:35Speaker 7: We literally talked about her. Almost the entire show yesterday.
- 34:39Speaker 11: And she was. Like I said, I plan to mention
- 34:42Speaker 11: it and cover it organically because of all of her talent.
- 34:47Speaker 11: Once again, we didn't even mention all of the hits
- 34:49Speaker 11: that she's had and all of the things that she's done.
- 34:52Speaker 11: She's been such an icon. Like I said, the queen
- 34:56Speaker 11: of country music.
- 34:57Speaker 7: Is what I call her.
- 34:59Speaker 11: And now watching, looking today at social media, everybody is
- 35:03Speaker 11: posting videos and things because she was so sweet and
- 35:05Speaker 11: she was so funny and had such a good sense
- 35:07Speaker 11: of humor, but was so talented and always worked until
- 35:10Speaker 11: the very end. Literally, she never stopped working until she
- 35:14Speaker 11: could no longer work. So there's something to be said
- 35:17Speaker 11: for that kind of success. And so it was I
- 35:21Speaker 11: couldn't remember the guy's name, but, you know, the guys
- 35:22Speaker 11: emailed me about or messaged me about she was on
- 35:26Speaker 11: the Porter Wagner show. And then when she left, he
- 35:28Speaker 11: sued her. What a dirtbag.
- 35:31Speaker 7: But this was young Dolly.
- 35:32Speaker 11: And of course, she obviously did a lot for her
- 35:34Speaker 11: career when she paid him apparently a million bucks. And
- 35:36Speaker 11: then over the years or over a certain amount of time,
- 35:39Speaker 11: ended up paying like three million in total, settled out
- 35:41Speaker 11: of court and then wrote.
- 35:43Speaker 7: Once again, you want to talk about karma.
- 35:46Speaker 11: She wrote I Will Always Love You, a song that
- 35:48Speaker 11: went to number one on the charts three times. So
- 35:50Speaker 11: I do believe the amount of money she paid Porter Wagner.
- 35:54Speaker 11: Hope it was worth it, Porter. She made a million
- 35:58Speaker 11: times over. And then, of course, that weird tie in
- 36:02Speaker 11: because she starred in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.
- 36:05Speaker 11: And then the drummer for ZZ Top who wrote the
- 36:08Speaker 11: song La Grange.
- 36:10Speaker 7: He passed away the week before. So there's our three.
- 36:12Speaker 11: That's it.
- 36:12Speaker 25: We're done.
- 36:13Speaker 6: No more.
- 36:16Speaker 11: The other thing, I was having a conversation with someone.
- 36:18Speaker 11: We're sort of in a weird transitionary time because everything's
- 36:21Speaker 11: weird now, by the way. Would you agree with that statement, Cash?
- 36:24Speaker 11: Everything is weird now? Oh, yeah.
- 36:27Speaker 10: Austin spilled out.
- 36:30Speaker 2: It did.
- 36:30Speaker 7: It spilled out and took over the entire world.
- 36:32Speaker 11: But everything is weird. But when someone passes away when
- 36:36Speaker 11: they're 80 years old, you know, there's reasons. There's cancer,
- 36:39Speaker 11: which is they're saying that's what Dolly died from. And
- 36:42Speaker 11: Tim Curry had a lot of health issues. He had
- 36:45Speaker 11: had strokes in the last couple of years or had
- 36:47Speaker 11: been confined to a wheelchair. So, you know, like I said,
- 36:51Speaker 11: the health.
- 36:52Speaker 7: But honestly, there are exceptions to the rule.
- 36:55Speaker 11: I'm knocking on wood. But like Morgan Freeman is 89.
- 37:00Speaker 11: Is Jack Nicholson, is he 90 yet? So there's these actors,
- 37:03Speaker 11: some of these.
- 37:03Speaker 7: And then you've got Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. They're
- 37:07Speaker 7: in their 80s.
- 37:09Speaker 11: And just I would have never expected those guys to
- 37:12Speaker 11: be still rocking. They're still writing music, still kicking out songs.
- 37:17Speaker 11: It's unbelievable. So you've got that. And then, of course,
- 37:20Speaker 11: Donald Trump is 80. Now, Joe Biden, we had heard
- 37:23Speaker 11: recently from his son, Humper Biden, that the cancer, he
- 37:27Speaker 11: had prostate cancer, and I guess it spread to his bones.
- 37:31Speaker 7: But Joe Biden is, what, 84? How old is he now?
- 37:35Speaker 11: But when people generally die in their 80s, a lot
- 37:37Speaker 11: of times it's sort of old age.
- 37:39Speaker 7: There are reasons for it.
- 37:42Speaker 11: But the good thing is it also shows that we're
- 37:43Speaker 11: starting to live longer. I don't know if it's, you know,
- 37:47Speaker 11: I don't quite know exactly how, you know, people are
- 37:50Speaker 11: taking care of themselves to a certain degree.
- 37:52Speaker 7: But then, like I said, you can be like Trump.
- 37:54Speaker 7: Trump's 80.
- 37:54Speaker 11: And what's funny is all of his doctor's reports come
- 37:57Speaker 11: back great. But then again, he can still watch him
- 38:01Speaker 11: on a golf course. He's heavy, and he's older, and
- 38:03Speaker 11: clearly he's a little hunched over now, not nearly as
- 38:06Speaker 11: straight up as he used to be, but he still
- 38:07Speaker 11: stands straight up, and he's still in phenomenal shape. You
- 38:10Speaker 11: wouldn't realize the guy's 80. He is starting to look
- 38:13Speaker 11: his age, but watch him on a golf course. When
- 38:17Speaker 11: he drives a golf ball, he damn near looks like
- 38:20Speaker 11: a professional because he's a scratch golfer. He still would
- 38:24Speaker 11: hit another hole-in-one here in the last year or so.
- 38:27Speaker 11: He's still very good. Now, he's played golf forever. He
- 38:29Speaker 11: owns multiple golf courses throughout the world. So he's been
- 38:32Speaker 11: a golfer forever, but that's a tough game to do
- 38:35Speaker 11: what he's doing at the level that he's doing it. Now,
- 38:38Speaker 11: clearly he isn't. I've noticed it was funny because when
- 38:40Speaker 11: he first ran for president, somebody posted a video of
- 38:43Speaker 11: him driving off the driving range, and I was like,
- 38:46Speaker 11: holy smoke, this guy's legit. Because I've never been a golfer.
- 38:52Speaker 11: I've played baseball my whole life, but never been a golfer.
- 38:55Speaker 11: I've hit a ball a few times. I used to
- 38:56Speaker 11: live on a golf course. but never been a golfer,
- 39:00Speaker 11: but I watched him drive. The ball went, this guy's legit.
- 39:03Speaker 11: And watching him putt and play, he's very good. He's talented.
- 39:08Speaker 11: But he's also very healthy, and he's 80 years old.
- 39:12Speaker 11: So when you start getting around your 80s, very few
- 39:14Speaker 11: people make it to their 80s, and then even less
- 39:16Speaker 11: people will make it to their 90s, which just blows
- 39:20Speaker 11: me away that you've got people like, once again, Keith
- 39:21Speaker 11: Richards and Mick Jagger. But when you start looking at
- 39:27Speaker 11: the list of all of these icons that were big
- 39:29Speaker 11: and popular. 40 and 50 years ago for us as
- 39:33Speaker 11: we were kids and teenagers watching them They were in
- 39:36Speaker 11: their 30s and 40s, especially the ones that had been established.
- 39:39Speaker 11: And then looking back at Dolly Parton going on The
- 39:41Speaker 11: Johnny Carson Show, The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, but
- 39:44Speaker 11: he's gone.
- 39:45Speaker 7: Ed McMahon is gone.
- 39:46Speaker 11: Many of the actors and people they would have Don
- 39:48Speaker 11: Rickles on on a regular basis, Burt Reynolds, all of
- 39:51Speaker 11: the people that were from that generation have come and gone.
- 39:56Speaker 11: So Dolly literally outlived most of them. Porter Wagner has
- 39:59Speaker 11: been gone for a long time. Kenny Rogers has been
- 40:01Speaker 11: gone for a long time. So you watch that and
- 40:06Speaker 11: it makes sense. It's a little sad, but like we
- 40:09Speaker 11: had mentioned, I'm not going to discuss it the whole show,
- 40:12Speaker 11: but I'm a little sad after losing Dolly yesterday. I
- 40:15Speaker 11: knew how much my parents really enjoyed her music and
- 40:18Speaker 11: her wholesome approach. I know she was a little risque
- 40:20Speaker 11: every now and then, but she was so good to
- 40:24Speaker 11: be able to pull that off because she was such
- 40:25Speaker 11: a sweet, kind person. And it wasn't just an act.
- 40:28Speaker 11: In Hollywood these days, generally that's an act. In her case,
- 40:32Speaker 11: it wasn't an act at all.
- 40:34Speaker 7: It was legit.
- 40:35Speaker 11: That was how she was. And a guy I worked with,
- 40:38Speaker 11: Rowdy Yates, he does the country music countdown thing and
- 40:41Speaker 11: worked with him at CBS Radio. Yeah, he talked about meeting,
- 40:45Speaker 11: you know, interviewing Dolly many times. And he said the
- 40:48Speaker 11: thing about Dolly was how smart she was. She remembered
- 40:50Speaker 11: his real name. She wrote a song.
- 40:52Speaker 7: His real name's Joshua. And she wrote a song called Joshua.
- 40:56Speaker 11: And every time he said there would be an event
- 40:58Speaker 11: or something where she's at, even without seeing her, she
- 41:01Speaker 11: would be walking up behind him. She would be singing
- 41:02Speaker 11: Joshua because she remembered his name. But that's impressive for
- 41:07Speaker 11: people to remember those names, especially when you meet as
- 41:09Speaker 11: many people as they do. So anyway, so rest in peace,
- 41:14Speaker 11: Frank Beard, Dolly Parton, and now Tim Curry. All of
- 41:17Speaker 11: them have a music connection. They were all very talented musicians.
- 41:19Speaker 11: Two of the three also were actors. I don't know
- 41:22Speaker 11: if Frank Beard ever starred in any movies, but he
- 41:25Speaker 11: was a great drummer. Like I said, he held down
- 41:27Speaker 11: the beat for ZZ Top for years, and they're still touring.
- 41:31Speaker 11: They're going to continue the tour with the guy that
- 41:33Speaker 11: replaced him when he had health issues before, and he
- 41:36Speaker 11: said Frank would have wanted us to continue, just like
- 41:39Speaker 11: we lost Dusty Hill back in 2021, the bass player,
- 41:42Speaker 11: for ZZ Top.
- 41:42Speaker 7: There's only one remaining member, the Reverend Willie G.
- 41:49Speaker 11: I don't think he's an actual reverend. Billy Gibbons, who
- 41:54Speaker 11: formerly was in the Moving Sidewalks. There's a band you
- 41:58Speaker 11: probably don't know much about. He played backup guitar for
- 42:02Speaker 11: Jimi Hendrix at one point. A lot of people don't
- 42:05Speaker 11: realize that, especially how good he is and how talented
- 42:08Speaker 11: he is. All right, let's go and take a break.
- 42:10Speaker 11: We'll come back, wrap up this first hour. If you
- 42:12Speaker 11: want to join us here before we run out of
- 42:13Speaker 11: time in the first hour, 281-558-KSCV. 281-558-5738. And people ask me, like,
- 42:22Speaker 11: why do you play that sweet transvestite from Tim Curry?
- 42:25Speaker 11: Because one, that movie was crazy when we were kids,
- 42:27Speaker 11: and it was one we wanted to go see because
- 42:29Speaker 11: they had the midnight showings. But also, it's just so
- 42:32Speaker 11: hilarious to me. Him running around in women's underwear, performing
- 42:36Speaker 11: that with that deep baritone.
- 42:37Speaker 7: Voice, and he sold it.
- 42:42Speaker 11: It was iconic. With a young Barry Bostwick and Susan Sarandon.
- 42:47Speaker 11: This is back before they were anybody. And then, of course,
- 42:51Speaker 11: he went on to star as Pennywise in It. He
- 42:55Speaker 11: could be pretty terrifying. And then, once again, the devil
- 42:57Speaker 11: in Legend.
- 42:57Speaker 7: He's great in that. All right, 281-558-KSV. I'm Chris X.

- 44:04Speaker 29: that timing is everything and the time to buy is now.
- 44:07Speaker 29: But don't go looking without a solid pre-approval in hand.
- 44:10Speaker 29: And this includes an application and a detailed discussion about
- 44:14Speaker 29: property taxes. If you didn't have the talk, You know,
- 44:17Speaker 29: about property taxes, you really don't know what you're pre-approved for.
- 44:21Speaker 29: That should make you wonder what else they may have
- 44:23Speaker 29: left out. Mortgages are personal. Let's face it, we're dealing

- 45:20Speaker 29: Thinking of buying a home, it's important to start off
- 45:23Speaker 29: with a solid pre-approval. Hi, I'm Kathy Baker from Baker Mortgage. Yes,
- 45:28Speaker 29: we ask a lot of questions, but that's because we're
- 45:30Speaker 29: not going to give you a pre-approval that's going to
- 45:32Speaker 29: blow up as you're trying to cross the finish line.
- 45:34Speaker 29: What's figured in there for property taxes? If it didn't
- 45:37Speaker 29: come up, you really don't know what you're pre-approved for.
- 45:40Speaker 29: That should make you wonder what else they may have
- 45:42Speaker 29: left out. At Baker Mortgage, we get it right. We

- 45:48Speaker 29: we have wholesale rates, 80-10-10s, and all kinds of programs,
- 45:52Speaker 29: but in the end, it's really about taking good care
- 45:55Speaker 29: of people, and they continue to come back and send
- 45:58Speaker 29: their kids, their friends, and sometimes their parents, whether you're buying, building,
- 46:02Speaker 29: or refinancing. Call us at Baker Mortgage.

- 46:16Speaker 15: The voice of Texas. The voice of reason. Chris X Radio.
- 46:22Speaker 15: This is a perfect circle.
- 46:33Speaker 11: I wonder if Nene Royal will play this at the finals. Okay,
- 46:38Speaker 11: you guys, I've told you before, I don't watch America's
- 46:39Speaker 11: Got Talent. I don't watch any of their shows, but
- 46:42Speaker 11: I did see the clip last night.
- 46:43Speaker 7: That was her. I talked about this.
- 46:46Speaker 11: She was 15, and during her first audition for America's
- 46:48Speaker 11: Got Talent, she's a young girl that plays in a band,
- 46:51Speaker 11: and she's from Thailand. Her name is, she goes by
- 46:54Speaker 11: the name Nene Royal. And she had that first audition
- 46:58Speaker 11: where she just killed it playing, what was it, a
- 47:01Speaker 11: Cranberry song. I don't even remember which one it was,
- 47:03Speaker 11: but she killed it. Zombie, thank you. And just killed
- 47:08Speaker 11: it because she's a great guitar player. She's actually a shredder.
- 47:11Speaker 11: So she killed it, got moved to the second round.
- 47:14Speaker 11: That was the live show that was last night. And
- 47:16Speaker 11: then she performed Black Hole Sun playing guitar and singing it.
- 47:20Speaker 11: And just killed it again. The audience standing ovation. Sofia
- 47:24Speaker 11: Vergara said everywhere she goes, everybody asks about Nene Royal.
- 47:28Speaker 11: And then Mel B was trying to say, hey, listen,
- 47:30Speaker 11: you're really not my style, this 90s rock grunge. I'm
- 47:32Speaker 11: not really into this. I was a pop singer. I
- 47:35Speaker 11: was into the pop music. She goes, but how can
- 47:37Speaker 11: I not? And hit the golden buzzer, which sends Nene
- 47:40Speaker 11: Royale to the finals.
- 47:42Speaker 7: She goes to, I guess, the main show.
- 47:45Speaker 11: If she doesn't, and what's funny, Howie Mandel goes, NBC,
- 47:48Speaker 11: just give her the million dollars now. And you watch
- 47:53Speaker 11: her perform, you would have no idea she's a 16-year-old kid.
- 47:58Speaker 7: She performs so well.
- 47:59Speaker 11: She is such a seasoned performer, and she dominates the stage,
- 48:04Speaker 11: and she's a great vocalist, and she's a great guitarist.
- 48:07Speaker 11: It's funny because me being the musician that I am,
- 48:10Speaker 11: I know I'm a nitpicker, but at the beginning, she
- 48:13Speaker 11: was a little out of key not singing on the guitar.
- 48:16Speaker 11: She actually flubbed some notes, but she's so good, she
- 48:18Speaker 11: can correct them, so most people didn't even notice. But
- 48:21Speaker 11: that song's not exactly what I'd say. It wouldn't be
- 48:24Speaker 11: hard to play. But it's drop detuned. And playing and
- 48:28Speaker 11: singing it, which is Chris Cornell did, incredible. But she
- 48:32Speaker 11: played it, sang her own little version of it, and
- 48:34Speaker 11: then finished up so strong.
- 48:37Speaker 7: Just nailed the ending. And once again, when Mel B.
- 48:40Speaker 11: Was trying to talk, she was trying to shush the
- 48:42Speaker 11: crowd a little bit so she could talk.
- 48:44Speaker 7: And they wouldn't stop.
- 48:46Speaker 11: So this girl is clearly a phenomenon. She's in the
- 48:48Speaker 11: band called Ozone. What's funny is I've been following her
- 48:51Speaker 11: for like a year or two on social media, on
- 48:53Speaker 11: either Twitter or Facebook or Instaface or whatever, and been
- 48:58Speaker 11: watching her and her band and watching how talented she was.
- 49:00Speaker 11: And I was like, this kid is good. I didn't
- 49:02Speaker 11: know how old she was. Everybody in her band is talented.
- 49:07Speaker 11: But she is killing it on America's Got Talent. So
- 49:11Speaker 11: if you haven't gone to watch that clip, go watch it.
- 49:13Speaker 7: You'll be entertained. It's short.
- 49:15Speaker 11: That's the other thing, too, is I don't know if
- 49:17Speaker 11: they edit the song down or if they just play it.
- 49:20Speaker 11: a smaller version of it. But watching her sing it,
- 49:22Speaker 11: I did. What's funny was the beginning part. I didn't
- 49:24Speaker 11: even she was sort of. I don't know, kind of
- 49:27Speaker 11: Britney Spears-ing it up a little bit. And I guess
- 49:29Speaker 11: maybe that was for That's What They Want, which I
- 49:32Speaker 11: didn't really like that as much. But then in the end,
- 49:34Speaker 11: she's a wailer too. She can wail, which she does.
- 49:38Speaker 11: And then she sang the ending strong. She just, kid
- 49:42Speaker 11: is talented. Man, her version of Zombie is unbelievable. So
- 49:46Speaker 11: the one she did on there, so if you want
- 49:48Speaker 11: to go watch that, I want to watch it. So
- 49:49Speaker 11: the reason why I'm bringing this up, one, talent, but
- 49:52Speaker 11: we're going from losing Dolly Parton and Frank Beard and...
- 49:56Speaker 11: And then, of course, Tim Curry to this is the
- 49:58Speaker 11: new generation. This is the new kids. And she's 16
- 50:02Speaker 11: years old. And watching her strut around, she was playing
- 50:05Speaker 11: with a wireless guitar. And watching her strut around the
- 50:08Speaker 11: stage and play, you just go, okay, this kid, whatever
- 50:11Speaker 11: it is, she has it.
- 50:14Speaker 7: There is that thing.
- 50:15Speaker 11: And I've played with people over the years where some
- 50:17Speaker 11: of the people that I've jammed with didn't know they
- 50:19Speaker 11: had it. But they had it. She's got it. So
- 50:24Speaker 11: I'll wait and find out when they post the next
- 50:26Speaker 11: clip from the finals because if she doesn't win, they're
- 50:29Speaker 11: going to have to rob her from it because she,
- 50:31Speaker 11: as Howie Mandel said, just give her the million dollars.
- 50:36Speaker 11: She deserves it. And her dad and her mom's there,
- 50:38Speaker 11: so she was hugging them and she was crying. It's
- 50:42Speaker 11: actually very heartwarming to watch. All right, hour number two
- 50:45Speaker 11: coming back.
- 50:45Speaker 7: We'll be right back.
- 50:46Speaker 11: Don't go anywhere.
- 50:49Speaker 20: AM 700 KSEV, Tomball, Houston, and streaming online at ksevradio.com.
- 50:55Speaker 4: The Voice of Texas.
- 50:59Speaker 30: News this hour from Town Hall. I'm Keith Peters in Washington.
- 51:03Speaker 30: The late Senator Lindsey Graham's sister has won the Republican
- 51:06Speaker 30: nomination to replace her brother in the Senate representing South Carolina.
- 51:11Speaker 31: Darlene Graham has won the Republican nomination to replace her
- 51:15Speaker 31: late brother, Lindsey Graham, in the United States Senate. Darlene
- 51:18Speaker 31: Graham has been serving as an interim senator since her
- 51:21Speaker 31: brother's death last month. But on Tuesday night, she clinched
- 51:24Speaker 31: the Republican nomination in a special primary runoff that at
- 51:29Speaker 31: times had attracted some of South Carolina's top Republican names.
- 51:33Speaker 31: and also prompted President Donald Trump to make a special
- 51:36Speaker 31: trip to the state to campaign for her.
- 51:38Speaker 30: That's correspondent Meg Kinnar. Graham will face Democratic nominee Dr.
- 51:42Speaker 15: Annie Andrews.
- 51:44Speaker 30: The reaction to the death of Dolly Parton has been overwhelming.
- 51:48Speaker 23: Parton was honored during the changing of the guard at
- 51:51Speaker 23: Buckingham Palace. Closer to home, Carla Potts went to Dolly
- 51:56Speaker 23: Parton's Dollywood Amusement Park in Tennessee for the first time.
- 52:00Speaker 11: She just consistently showed Joy and spread hope.
- 52:05Speaker 23: The amount of flowers keeps growing at the gate to
- 52:08Speaker 23: Dolly Parton's home near Nashville. Mandy Madsen traveled from Savannah, Georgia.
- 52:12Speaker 23: Madsen is grieving.
- 52:13Speaker 11: In her own way.
- 52:14Speaker 27: Being a woman is awesome in so many ways.
- 52:16Speaker 11: It's hard in many ways, but it's awesome in so
- 52:18Speaker 11: many ways. We get to dress up and have fun.
- 52:20Speaker 23: Taylor Swift says a world without Dolly doesn't feel possible, real,
- 52:25Speaker 23: or right. I'm Ed Donohue.
- 52:26Speaker 30: A federal judge on Wednesday refused to order Texas to
- 52:29Speaker 30: extradite an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer charged with shooting
- 52:34Speaker 30: a man and lying about it. Under Texas law and
- 52:37Speaker 30: barring extradition, Christian Castro must be released after 90 days
- 52:41Speaker 30: of detention, which is Thursday. On Wall Street, the Dow
- 52:45Speaker 30: down by 113 points. The Nasdaq dropped 21. The S
- 52:49Speaker 30: & P 500 lower by one point. More on these
- 52:53Speaker 30: stories at townhall.com.
- 52:57Speaker 5: You've probably heard all those ads for life insurance. Just
- 53:00Speaker 5: a few dollars a day, apply online in minutes, no
- 53:02Speaker 5: medical exam. Simple, easy, and cheap, right? Now you're thinking,
- 53:06Speaker 5: maybe I should get a quote. Well, smart thinking. Everyone
- 53:09Speaker 5: should have life insurance. But here's what they don't tell you.
- 53:11Speaker 5: Those few dollars a day rates, they're for young people
- 53:14Speaker 5: and perfect health. That's why everyone calls Big Lou the
- 53:18Speaker 5: 50 to 60-year-old not-so-perfect candidate.
- 53:21Speaker 15: Like you.
- 53:21Speaker 11: You take prescription meds, and you're overweight.
- 53:24Speaker 5: Winner, winner, fried chicken dinner. Well, Big Lou works with
- 53:27Speaker 5: life insurance companies that want people like you, with no
- 53:30Speaker 5: surprises after you apply. In fact, if you're a 50-year-old
- 53:33Speaker 5: guy with a few health glitches, Lou could probably find
- 53:35Speaker 5: you a million dollars of term life coverage for about
- 53:37Speaker 5: 200 bucks a month. So, yeah, you need life insurance.
- 53:41Speaker 5: But unless you're young and healthy, you gotta call Big Lou,
- 53:44Speaker 5: because he's like you.
- 53:45Speaker 1: Older, heavier.
- 53:46Speaker 5: and on meds, too. Get a quote right now at 800-555-2085, 800-555-2085,

- 53:58Speaker 22: This hour of the Chris Eck Show is brought to
- 54:00Speaker 22: you by the John Doe Is Coming Fan Club, in
- 54:02Speaker 22: favor of God, family, country, and practical common sense solutions
- 54:07Speaker 22: for America.
- 54:10Speaker 32: This True Sand commentary is brought to you by Ability
- 54:13Speaker 32: Tree Experts. Ability Tree Experts, Houston's leading tree care professionals.
- 54:17Speaker 32: Call 281-441-4179. From KSEV, here's political contributor Ben Strewsand.
- 54:26Speaker 33: To my fellow Republicans who supported John Cornyn and won't
- 54:30Speaker 33: vote for Ken Paxton. you're about to give control of
- 54:33Speaker 33: the U.S. Senate over to the socialists that now run
- 54:37Speaker 33: the Democrat Party. Their plan is to pack the Supreme Court,
- 54:40Speaker 33: give statehood to D.C. and Puerto Rico, so as to
- 54:43Speaker 33: add four new Democrats to the Senate and control the
- 54:47Speaker 33: Electoral College. Do you really want that on your conscience?
- 54:51Speaker 33: And don't think for a minute that somehow progressive socialist
- 54:55Speaker 33: turned moderate James Tallarico won't support the Bernese team. He
- 55:00Speaker 33: won't have a choice. Or another election for six years.
- 55:04Speaker 33: We all know what it's like to support crap candidates
- 55:07Speaker 33: when a Republican primary is over. We've held our nose
- 55:10Speaker 33: and voted Republican so many times that the smell doesn't
- 55:14Speaker 33: stink anymore.
- 55:15Speaker 7: It's your turn.
- 55:16Speaker 33: Whatever problems you have with Paxton, and he's got a few,
- 55:20Speaker 33: pale in comparison to the damage that will be done
- 55:23Speaker 33: if you allow a Democrat to win a Senate race
- 55:26Speaker 33: in Texas. Besides, he doesn't sport any swastikas, his relationships
- 55:32Speaker 33: with women were consensual, and he thinks Hamas is a
- 55:35Speaker 33: bunch of murderers. With Tallarico, you get men playing in
- 55:39Speaker 33: women's sports, the DEI agenda, unfettered illegal immigration, and handcuffs
- 55:45Speaker 33: on police, not criminals. So starting with John Cornyn's Senate buddies,
- 55:50Speaker 33: John Thune and Rick Scott, get over it before it's
- 55:53Speaker 33: too late. Spend the money. Saying I told you so
- 55:57Speaker 33: might make you feel better. but only briefly besides. We
- 56:01Speaker 33: wouldn't be in this position if Cornyn had retired and
- 56:04Speaker 33: let a new generation take over. Texas Republicans read the
- 56:09Speaker 33: polling and knew he was done for, but you all
- 56:12Speaker 33: seem to think that you're indispensable. I'm Ben Struesand, and
- 56:19Speaker 33: that's my view.
- 56:21Speaker 2: Ben Struesand, only on AM700 KSEV.
- 56:27Speaker 21: Thank goodness our weather experts are providing us with hurricane
- 56:30Speaker 21: tracking charts and reminding us to be.
- 56:32Speaker 7: Prepared for big storms.
- 56:34Speaker 21: But they overlook one very important thing, the damage and
- 56:36Speaker 21: destruction from broken limbs and uprooted trees. Call Lewis Flory
- 56:40Speaker 21: at Ability Tree Experts today. My friend for nearly 40 years.
- 56:44Speaker 21: At 281-441-4179 and let him explain how this problem can
- 56:49Speaker 21: be minimized with professional pruning. You see, when the tree
- 56:52Speaker 21: canopy is too thick and dense, the tree can be
- 56:54Speaker 21: completely blown over and tree limbs broken. causing terrible damage
- 56:58Speaker 21: to the tree and maybe your home. Where tree limbs break,
- 57:02Speaker 21: sap will ooze, and that attracts harmful insects. So you
- 57:05Speaker 21: need to call Louis Flory today at 281-441-4179 and have
- 57:11Speaker 21: his experts come out and professionally prune your trees to
- 57:15Speaker 21: withstand sudden storms that are so frequent this time of year.
- 57:18Speaker 21: Visit their website at abilitytrees.com. That's 281-441-4179. Ability Tree Experts,
- 57:25Speaker 21: Houston's leading tree care professional.
- 57:27Speaker 15: KSEV, 700 AM.
- 57:30Speaker 1: Launch Control, this is Houston.
- 57:37Speaker 23: We are going to launch. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
- 57:43Speaker 5: It's Chris X Radio.
- 57:49Speaker 1: Chris X Radio.
- 57:51Speaker 9: What we need.
- 57:52Speaker 24: Right now is a clear message to the people of
- 57:54Speaker 24: this country.
- 57:55Speaker 8: This message must.
- 57:56Speaker 14: Be read in every newspaper, heard on every radio, seen
- 57:59Speaker 14: on every television.
- 58:01Speaker 16: This message must resound throughout the entire intelligence.
- 58:05Speaker 1: And now, your host.
- 58:06Speaker 2: I believe this is going to be our finest hour.
- 58:08Speaker 7: Chris X.
- 58:21Speaker 11: Hey, Casualine, I forgot to ask you, did you ever
- 58:24Speaker 11: have any success trying to download the new KSV radio
- 58:28Speaker 11: app to your Android phone? Were you able to find it?
- 58:31Speaker 10: I have not yet. I've got a bunch of lookalikes,
- 58:34Speaker 10: but not the.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Solid one yet.
- 58:36Speaker 11: Okay. All right. Still looking.
- 58:40Speaker 7: We'll talk about that here in a minute.
- 58:41Speaker 9: All right.
- 58:41Speaker 11: Welcome back to Chris X Radio. I'm the aforementioned X-Man.
- 58:44Speaker 11: Glad to have you here with us. Not only on
- 58:47Speaker 11: the voice of Texas, but we are all over the place.
- 58:49Speaker 11: You can download the new KCV radio app to your smartphone.
- 58:53Speaker 11: I know you can on your iPhone because I already have.
- 58:57Speaker 11: And it's so much better than the old one, which
- 59:00Speaker 11: is good. I was told that you can download on
- 59:02Speaker 11: the Android now. But I think some folks are having trouble.
- 59:06Speaker 11: On the Android, if you haven't been able to download
- 59:07Speaker 11: it yet, you can download the TuneIn app. and still
- 59:10Speaker 11: pick up KSV there. And then of course you can
- 59:13Speaker 11: always go to the website, KSV radio.com and listen there.
- 59:16Speaker 11: I know we're still having some areas. I've got some messages.
- 59:19Speaker 11: The signal is still a little rough. I told you
- 59:21Speaker 11: guys we had that box that exploded over the weekend
- 59:25Speaker 11: and knocked us completely off the air. Well, we're back on,
- 59:27Speaker 11: but they're, waiting to do the power boost and I
- 59:32Speaker 11: think our engineers on vacation. And then the, apparently the
- 59:34Speaker 11: other guy who was the does it or whatever, I was,
- 59:37Speaker 11: I just had some kind of surgery.
- 59:39Speaker 7: So, so what?
- 59:44Speaker 11: So anyway, that should be boosted up here by the,
- 59:47Speaker 11: you know, sometime in September, but until then, never forget,
- 59:51Speaker 11: you can listen to your smartphone in the vehicle. Also,
- 59:54Speaker 11: we are streaming the video as well. Like I said,
- 59:58Speaker 11: on all of the socials, Twitter X, Facebook, YouTube, Rumble.
- 1:00:07Speaker 11: I think that's all of them. Did I miss anything, Casualine?
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: You got it. All right.
- 1:00:13Speaker 7: So there we got the video, which the video is cool.
- 1:00:15Speaker 11: The intro that Lucas built a great intro, a video
- 1:00:20Speaker 11: intro that goes along with the audio. So that looks
- 1:00:22Speaker 11: very cool. And then, of course, you get to see
- 1:00:25Speaker 11: Studio X if you want to go watch the video.
- 1:00:27Speaker 11: Once again, you can go watch it at KSCV Radio
- 1:00:31Speaker 11: on Facebook or Twitter X or Rumble or YouTube. But
- 1:00:35Speaker 11: you can go and you can see my xenomorph watching.
- 1:00:39Speaker 11: He's over actually looking at my American flag guitar over here.
- 1:00:41Speaker 11: But I've also got the Chris X license plate, which
- 1:00:44Speaker 11: could be easily read by SpaceX.
- 1:00:47Speaker 7: And we'll get to that. Like I said, I'm going
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: to dig into it.
- 1:00:50Speaker 11: If you want to join us here in the second hour,
- 1:00:51Speaker 11: I know, like I said, you guys are probably getting
- 1:00:53Speaker 11: tired of all the death and doom and gloom. I
- 1:00:55Speaker 11: want to get back to the fun, you know, joking
- 1:00:57Speaker 11: around Chris X. But it's hard to when you got,
- 1:00:59Speaker 11: you know, talented people passing away. And Tim Curry has
- 1:01:02Speaker 11: passed away at the age of 80. We lost Dolly
- 1:01:04Speaker 11: Parton yesterday. And then last week, Frank Beard. So when
- 1:01:08Speaker 11: we played, I played Sweet Transvestite. That was for our....
- 1:01:14Speaker 7: Our Senator, no, no, Congressman, Representative.
- 1:01:18Speaker 11: James Loti Tallarico played that ad.
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: You know what, I guess I can play that one again.
- 1:01:24Speaker 11: Let's go.
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: The Democrats have a weird, a weird chat today.
- 1:01:29Speaker 14: God is non-binary. There are many more than two biological sexes.
- 1:01:35Speaker 14: In fact, there are six. It is now existential that...
- 1:01:38Speaker 14: We try to reduce our meat consumption. The American flag
- 1:01:42Speaker 14: is such a complicated symbol for most of us. Prophetic
- 1:01:44Speaker 14: voices like Jesus have helped me reckon with my own whiteness,
- 1:01:48Speaker 14: my own masculinity. Our southern border should be like our
- 1:01:51Speaker 14: front porch. There should be a giant welcome mat out front.
- 1:01:55Speaker 14: No need to sit and cry over, you know, your
- 1:01:58Speaker 14: whiteness or your masculinity.
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: They're going to call me a radical leftist.
- 1:02:02Speaker 17: Something that you love that's not family or friends.
- 1:02:06Speaker 14: I love, and I'm just saying this because it's on
- 1:02:08Speaker 14: my mind, the trans children.
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: The Democrats have a weird, a weird candidate.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: Low-T Tallarico, too weak for Texas.
- 1:02:21Speaker 11: Yeah, I would agree. He's running a campaign against everything
- 1:02:25Speaker 11: he stood for.
- 1:02:26Speaker 7: It's hilarious.
- 1:02:28Speaker 11: And he's convincing people because his commercials are all lies, basically.
- 1:02:32Speaker 11: His commercials just try to portray him as something he
- 1:02:34Speaker 11: is not, something he didn't vote for, though not the
- 1:02:37Speaker 11: way he was in the Texas House. He runs a
- 1:02:40Speaker 11: campaign against himself, convinces people that he's a moderate, which
- 1:02:43Speaker 11: he is not. He's a hardcore leftist progressive. And then
- 1:02:48Speaker 11: they get elected and get in and then, of course,
- 1:02:51Speaker 11: immediately revert back to the leftist progressives and then they
- 1:02:54Speaker 11: have power and that's the worst thing you can give
- 1:02:56Speaker 11: to a leftist progressive is power because when you give
- 1:02:59Speaker 11: them power then all of a sudden there's nowhere on
- 1:03:03Speaker 11: this god's green earth they won't hunt you down to
- 1:03:05Speaker 11: rule over you look what they're doing in harris county
- 1:03:08Speaker 11: the leftist progressive on Harris County commissioner's court want to
- 1:03:12Speaker 11: give us another tax increase. They just raised our taxes
- 1:03:17Speaker 11: within a jacked about, what was it? $ 300 or $ 200.
- 1:03:20Speaker 7: Offsetting the state. You got the state level.
- 1:03:23Speaker 11: You got you guys like Senator Betancourt going through and
- 1:03:26Speaker 11: cutting our taxes at the state level. And then the
- 1:03:28Speaker 11: County you're in, if it's run by Democrats, they go
- 1:03:31Speaker 11: through there and offset it completely by raising your County taxes.
- 1:03:37Speaker 11: They're dirtbags. So you need to be paying attention. That's
- 1:03:40Speaker 11: what happens when you elect Democrats. And now they're going
- 1:03:42Speaker 11: once again, Harris County, they just passed it. They used
- 1:03:45Speaker 11: Hurricane Beryl as an opportunity to jack us, to jack
- 1:03:49Speaker 11: your spending, to make the campaign on affordability.
- 1:03:53Speaker 7: But then turn around and raise your taxes and.
- 1:03:56Speaker 11: Say, well, we have to we have to do this.
- 1:03:58Speaker 11: Do you? Anyway, welcome to Chris X Radio, the second
- 1:04:04Speaker 11: hour of the program. Glad to have you here with us.
- 1:04:05Speaker 11: If you want to join us, 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738. All right,
- 1:04:12Speaker 11: so Remy, who's a talented guy, does videos, and there's
- 1:04:15Speaker 11: a video that accompanies this song.
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: He does a song.
- 1:04:18Speaker 11: It's a parody, I guess, of Ella Langley's Choosing Texas,
- 1:04:22Speaker 11: which I haven't even heard that song, but let's take
- 1:04:24Speaker 11: a listen to Remy.
- 1:04:27Speaker 7: He does a great job.
- 1:04:28Speaker 11: Hey, what the heck are you doing?
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: Guys, I'm moving to a different state. What?
- 1:04:34Speaker 11: But this is the best place in the country. Yeah,
- 1:04:37Speaker 11: where could you possibly be going that's better than this?
- 1:04:39Speaker 24: Just when I thought he loved our single mile.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: Of high-speed rail.
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: It's the perfect amount.
- 1:04:46Speaker 32: Our water supply for fires that is basically a pail.
- 1:04:52Speaker 7: I can't imagine ever needing more.
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: Doesn't he love our various hot taxis?
- 1:04:57Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:04:58Speaker 11: On income, property, car, and gas.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: He's choosing Texas, I can tell.
- 1:05:03Speaker 26: By the way.
- 1:05:05Speaker 19: He's two-stepping round the room.
- 1:05:07Speaker 26: Yee-haw!
- 1:05:08Speaker 30: And judging by the tax assessment on.
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: His place, he's probably leaving soon.
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: I mean, it's lower than mine.
- 1:05:16Speaker 11: It doesn't take.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: A crystal ball to see.
- 1:05:20Speaker 19: There's needles on the sidewalk of the street.
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: Smoke and crack all by myself.
- 1:05:26Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:05:26Speaker 10: These Jews in Texas, I can tell.
- 1:05:29Speaker 11: These people keep voting for weirdos. Well, come on down
- 1:05:31Speaker 11: to City Hall and listen to a hearing.
- 1:05:32Speaker 7: I bet that'll change your mind.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:05:37Speaker 11: Netanyahu should be arrested, that's what I declare. What meeting's
- 1:05:45Speaker 11: this guy leading? He's in charge of pothole repair.
- 1:05:49Speaker 32: It's pothole adjacent.
- 1:05:52Speaker 11: He always loved not getting robbed in the morning. You
- 1:05:55Speaker 11: did mention that.
- 1:05:56Speaker 30: We should have taken that as a warning.
- 1:05:59Speaker 24: He's choosing Texas, I can tell by the way.
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: He's high-fiving every dude.
- 1:06:06Speaker 17: And judging by this.
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: Meeting of the PTA, the U-Haul's coming soon.
- 1:06:13Speaker 7: Yeah, more people are coming here than anywhere else.
- 1:06:14Speaker 13: It doesn't take ten fly cameras to see.
- 1:06:18Speaker 11: We let folks use.
- 1:06:19Speaker 8: The bathroom on the street. Taking craps all by myself.
- 1:06:24Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:06:24Speaker 15: He's choosing Texas, I can tell.
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: Oh, no. There's a new meals tax as well.
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: Is crack exempt?
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: He's choosing Texas, I can tell.
- 1:06:36Speaker 11: Maybe we should move too.
- 1:06:39Speaker 7: No, maybe you shouldn't.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: Austin doesn't have high-speed rail.
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: You know I've read that. You know, first of all,
- 1:06:45Speaker 7: he's talented.
- 1:06:45Speaker 11: That's good. But it also shows, once again, these people
- 1:06:47Speaker 11: coming here. I'm starting to get worried because a lot
- 1:06:50Speaker 11: of them are coming here and then voting exactly what
- 1:06:54Speaker 11: got them into the position they were in. People like
- 1:06:58Speaker 11: Joe Rogan moved to Austin to get out of California
- 1:07:00Speaker 11: because they're weirdos and they're insane.
- 1:07:02Speaker 7: And then he endorses James Tallarico.
- 1:07:04Speaker 11: What?
- 1:07:05Speaker 20: What?
- 1:07:07Speaker 11: Tallarico stands for everything that Joe Rogan is against. But
- 1:07:12Speaker 11: because he came on and was personable on his podcast,
- 1:07:14Speaker 11: he came out and endorsed him. I don't know if
- 1:07:16Speaker 11: he still endorses him. But it's like, wait a minute, dude,
- 1:07:18Speaker 11: you moved from California. Don't California my Texas. There's so
- 1:07:22Speaker 11: many people that are moving here from other states. More
- 1:07:25Speaker 11: here to Texas than anywhere else. I'm kind of... I'm
- 1:07:30Speaker 11: ready to build a big, beautiful wall. Okay. A big
- 1:07:32Speaker 11: wall around the state of Texas. You can't come from
- 1:07:35Speaker 11: Mexico and you can't come from California and you can't
- 1:07:37Speaker 11: come from New York. These New York has come down
- 1:07:40Speaker 11: here with the New York Yankees caps rooting for the Yankees.
- 1:07:43Speaker 11: And then the Astros kick their ass. It's fantastic.
- 1:07:47Speaker 7: It's tremendous.
- 1:07:48Speaker 11: By the way, I saw the highlights. The Astros are
- 1:07:52Speaker 11: Yankees killers, which is hilarious. which it's so great being
- 1:07:58Speaker 11: a lifelong Astros fan. I know I don't watch their
- 1:08:00Speaker 11: games anymore, but that's MLB. but being a huge fan
- 1:08:04Speaker 11: because my mom was a huge Astros fan. And then
- 1:08:06Speaker 11: seeing the Astros get forced into the American League where
- 1:08:09Speaker 11: they proceeded to become a dynasty and took it over.
- 1:08:12Speaker 11: And they're kind of a piecemeal team right now. And there's, what,
- 1:08:16Speaker 11: a half game in first place? And then they beat
- 1:08:18Speaker 11: the Yankees again last night. And I saw the video
- 1:08:21Speaker 11: of a guy on Twitter X who was a Yankees
- 1:08:23Speaker 11: fan just going, you know what, I just got admitted
- 1:08:26Speaker 11: that Astros own us. We just, for whatever reason, they
- 1:08:29Speaker 11: own us. And the Astros do own them. which is
- 1:08:31Speaker 11: amazing because the Yankees are the dynasty of dynasties. The
- 1:08:35Speaker 11: whole reason I hate the Yankees is because they won
- 1:08:38Speaker 11: so many World Series and have always been a big team.
- 1:08:41Speaker 11: And they've got so much money to bring in the
- 1:08:43Speaker 11: best players. I love to watch little Altuve go in
- 1:08:48Speaker 11: and just destroy them.
- 1:08:51Speaker 7: And then, of course, some of the other people.
- 1:08:52Speaker 11: Now you've got Jordan Alvarez, who apparently is having an
- 1:08:56Speaker 11: MVP sort of year.
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: But.
- 1:09:00Speaker 11: I'm tired of you New Yorkers coming to my Texas.
- 1:09:03Speaker 11: Don't you Tallarico my Texas, okay?
- 1:09:05Speaker 7: And that's what I fear. They're coming in.
- 1:09:07Speaker 11: They're going to vote for someone like Tallarico. Thanks a lot,
- 1:09:09Speaker 11: Joe Rogan. Hey, by the way, Lukash, how was that
- 1:09:14Speaker 11: version of Choose in Texas? Did Remy do okay on it?
- 1:09:17Speaker 11: Because I don't know the real song.
- 1:09:18Speaker 10: He did pretty good, yeah. It was almost note for
- 1:09:20Speaker 10: note and lyric for lyric.
- 1:09:22Speaker 7: Okay, that's pretty good. That's not true.
- 1:09:24Speaker 10: I can't buy that.
- 1:09:28Speaker 11: Thanks a lot. Now you got Lukash, can't even back
- 1:09:30Speaker 11: it up.
- 1:09:32Speaker 21: Jeez.
- 1:09:33Speaker 11: I still haven't decided which nickname I'm going to call him.
- 1:09:36Speaker 11: Casholine's pretty good. Lukash, that's pretty good. I like it.
- 1:09:42Speaker 11: I'll come up with something. I don't know.
- 1:09:43Speaker 7: Maybe I'll just use a different one each day. Everybody
- 1:09:46Speaker 7: knows I'm.
- 1:09:46Speaker 11: The, for what's funny is years ago when I was
- 1:09:48Speaker 11: at CBS radio, somehow me and my buddy, the Drew's man,
- 1:09:51Speaker 11: that was his nickname. We became the nickname committee. And
- 1:09:54Speaker 11: then we just literally came up with nicknames for everyone.
- 1:09:59Speaker 11: One person who shall rename remain nameless. We called a
- 1:10:02Speaker 11: little ball of hate, which she was a little ball
- 1:10:05Speaker 11: of hate. And then there's so many other great ones.
- 1:10:09Speaker 11: Some that are not fit for air. But then moved on,
- 1:10:12Speaker 11: and like I said, that's what we've done. I just
- 1:10:14Speaker 11: give people nicknames. Some are good. Some aren't so good.
- 1:10:18Speaker 11: Wayne E.D., which is a great one for Wayne Dolcevino,
- 1:10:22Speaker 11: our new morning show host. I didn't come up with
- 1:10:26Speaker 11: that one, but that's a great one, Wayne E.D.
- 1:10:28Speaker 7: And you know what?
- 1:10:29Speaker 11: About to say I've got to give credit where credit
- 1:10:31Speaker 11: is due. His co-host, Kregers, or I like to call
- 1:10:34Speaker 11: him Krager Mags. That's what I call him. If the
- 1:10:38Speaker 11: cracker smoker in Pearland is listening, he's going to be
- 1:10:41Speaker 11: so proud that I called him Craig or Mags. And
- 1:10:45Speaker 11: for those who don't remember what those are. But anyway,
- 1:10:50Speaker 11: so we got the new one. We got a big
- 1:10:52Speaker 11: new social media presence, digital presence, got a new morning show,
- 1:10:56Speaker 11: got a lot going on.
- 1:10:58Speaker 7: But you know what?
- 1:10:58Speaker 11: We're still going to take your phone calls. So we're
- 1:11:00Speaker 11: going to get in the next segment. I'll get to
- 1:11:02Speaker 11: Trump removing the landmines from the Strait of Hormuz. Like
- 1:11:06Speaker 11: I said, this is a battle with Iran. It's going
- 1:11:08Speaker 11: to continue, but we'll see at what point these economic conditions,
- 1:11:12Speaker 11: because we're already starting getting video out of Iran that
- 1:11:14Speaker 11: shows the gasoline supplies are starting to run out, and
- 1:11:18Speaker 11: that's not good for their country. 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738. Let's go
- 1:11:24Speaker 11: to Don listening in Point Blank before we have to break.
- 1:11:27Speaker 7: Don, thank you for hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:11:31Speaker 9: Yeah, you were talking about the Astros owning the Yankees
- 1:11:35Speaker 9: at I grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and so many
- 1:11:42Speaker 9: were Yankees fans because of Mickey Mantle. I always loved
- 1:11:46Speaker 9: Mickey Mantle, but I hated the Yankees. The Yankees, from
- 1:11:50Speaker 9: 1949 to 64, in 16 years, they won 14 pennants
- 1:11:52Speaker 9: and nine World Series. I liked a lot of their players,
- 1:12:04Speaker 9: but I just couldn't stand the team winning all the time.
- 1:12:08Speaker 9: I loved Yogi Berra, Lou Gehrig. He was before my time.
- 1:12:15Speaker 7: Even the great Bambino. He was a Yankee at one time.
- 1:12:18Speaker 11: They've had some great players over the years. I like
- 1:12:21Speaker 11: Mike Judge. He seems like a fantastic dude, but I
- 1:12:23Speaker 11: hate the Yankees. And so they've won, like, I think
- 1:12:26Speaker 11: 27 World Series. I do believe, you know, as Barack
- 1:12:29Speaker 11: Obama said and how they tend to vote in New York,
- 1:12:32Speaker 11: at a certain point, haven't you won enough?
- 1:12:34Speaker 7: So that's the way I look at it. So I'm glad.
- 1:12:36Speaker 11: I love watching the Astros dominate the Yankees because they've
- 1:12:39Speaker 11: been such a dynasty for so long that even a
- 1:12:42Speaker 11: subpar Astros team somehow can still dominate them. And this
- 1:12:47Speaker 11: goes back to what was our oldest Chapman with his
- 1:12:50Speaker 11: 105-mile-an-hour fastball and Altuve knocking him out of the park
- 1:12:53Speaker 11: to go to the World Series. So, like I said,
- 1:12:57Speaker 11: I love watching the Astros dominate the Yankees. That is
- 1:12:59Speaker 11: one of my simple joys that I don't even watch
- 1:13:02Speaker 11: baseball anymore, but still love it.
- 1:13:05Speaker 9: But you're kind of getting personal when you're talking about
- 1:13:08Speaker 9: all these 80-year-olds dying. It seems now I'm 80, but
- 1:13:13Speaker 9: in good health, fortunately. But there was a couple of
- 1:13:18Speaker 9: other ladies I haven't heard talked about. Like the day
- 1:13:24Speaker 9: before Dolly Parton died, do you remember Shelly Fabre?
- 1:13:28Speaker 11: Yeah, Shelly Faye Bears is a lot of color, but
- 1:13:31Speaker 11: I saw that she passed away. You're right, I didn't
- 1:13:33Speaker 11: even mention that because it got overshadowed by Dolly Parton,
- 1:13:36Speaker 11: but that's another one.
- 1:13:38Speaker 7: She was in her 80s, I guess.
- 1:13:39Speaker 9: 82, she was on the Donna Reed show, you know,
- 1:13:44Speaker 9: and then 87-year-old Connie Francis, remember her, the singer?
- 1:13:52Speaker 7: Yeah, did she recently pass away? Yeah.
- 1:13:57Speaker 9: Oh, I didn't know that. It was maybe a week ago.
- 1:14:00Speaker 9: She was in the movie Where the Boys Are.
- 1:14:05Speaker 11: Yeah, man. Connie Francis, she was very popular, especially among
- 1:14:11Speaker 11: the young men back in the day. But, yeah, she
- 1:14:13Speaker 11: was a good actress, too. I thought, for some reason,
- 1:14:16Speaker 11: I was thinking she had passed a while back. I
- 1:14:17Speaker 11: didn't realize it was recently.
- 1:14:20Speaker 9: It wasn't too long ago, maybe a week or two.
- 1:14:24Speaker 9: But she was 87. And she was a real popular singer.
- 1:14:31Speaker 9: And that was a funny movie, Where the Boys Are.
- 1:14:36Speaker 9: You know, it was about spring break there in Florida.
- 1:14:42Speaker 11: Quickly, the judge on the Amigos on Friday is losing
- 1:14:45Speaker 11: all of his idols that he grew up. Because he's
- 1:14:48Speaker 11: in that age bracket as well. So he's losing all
- 1:14:50Speaker 11: of his, I guess, potential future Miss X judges. So
- 1:14:54Speaker 11: he's losing that. He's going to have to start skewing
- 1:14:56Speaker 11: a younger demographic. You mentioned you're 80. So how are
- 1:15:01Speaker 11: you feeling?
- 1:15:02Speaker 7: How's your health?
- 1:15:03Speaker 11: Are you still getting out and riding your bike and
- 1:15:04Speaker 11: doing all that exercise and keeping in good shape?
- 1:15:08Speaker 9: Since it's 100 degrees today, not today.
- 1:15:12Speaker 11: Yeah, I understand that.
- 1:15:16Speaker 9: But I had always been running on the forest trails
- 1:15:21Speaker 9: up here. But recently, my problem now is just trying
- 1:15:26Speaker 9: to lose weight. And then my right arm's been sore
- 1:15:30Speaker 9: for a long time. So it's been hard to do anything.
- 1:15:35Speaker 9: exercises at the gym I can do my left arm
- 1:15:39Speaker 9: but my right arm I don't know if I tore
- 1:15:42Speaker 9: a muscle or something trying to do stuff that I
- 1:15:46Speaker 9: really shouldn't do at my age.
- 1:15:50Speaker 11: I think we're all guilty of that and I'm not
- 1:15:52Speaker 11: quite 80 yet yeah you may have torn a rotator
- 1:15:54Speaker 11: cuff or could be something very simple but yeah that
- 1:15:56Speaker 11: stuff can be debilitating at my age I'm only 58
- 1:16:00Speaker 11: but they're my knees and ankles and my elbows and
- 1:16:04Speaker 11: my shoulders are so bad from years of playing baseball
- 1:16:07Speaker 11: at a high level that I can't do simple things
- 1:16:10Speaker 11: that you know some people can do you know stay
- 1:16:12Speaker 11: in good shape but I can't do pull-ups anymore I
- 1:16:14Speaker 11: used to be able to do a a ton of pull-ups,
- 1:16:16Speaker 11: but my elbows won't allow it, and the wrists can't
- 1:16:18Speaker 11: hold it anymore, and I can't run like I used to,
- 1:16:21Speaker 11: but I can still run, and I'm in fairly decent shape,
- 1:16:24Speaker 11: but just, like I said, years of sports and abuse, man,
- 1:16:27Speaker 11: it takes its toll, and I never had good knees.
- 1:16:29Speaker 11: I've always had poor knees, but for, like I said,
- 1:16:33Speaker 11: for my age, I'm doing okay, but I understand those
- 1:16:36Speaker 11: aches and pains, and I'm not anywhere near your age yet, Don.
- 1:16:39Speaker 9: My knees never bothered me, but I mean, I used
- 1:16:43Speaker 9: to run marathons in my 30s, but now I don't
- 1:16:48Speaker 9: know if I could. Well, I went out and ran
- 1:16:50Speaker 9: half a mile just to see if I could go
- 1:16:53Speaker 9: on a track, and I wanted to run a mile.
- 1:16:58Speaker 9: I only ran a half mile, and it was so hot.
- 1:17:02Speaker 9: I laid down, and this was in Cold Spring High School,
- 1:17:07Speaker 9: and there was a bunch of black guys out there
- 1:17:12Speaker 9: playing football. And they saw me, and they came over
- 1:17:17Speaker 9: and helped me up. I mean, they were really, really
- 1:17:20Speaker 9: nice kids. And I asked them, are you football players?
- 1:17:23Speaker 9: And they said, yeah. They played on the team in
- 1:17:26Speaker 9: the fall, so I'll have to root for them this year.
- 1:17:30Speaker 9: But they were really nice. They pulled me up and
- 1:17:36Speaker 9: and kind of watched me as I staggered back to
- 1:17:39Speaker 9: the car. But that was mostly the heat that got
- 1:17:42Speaker 9: me there. Oh, it is so hot now.
- 1:17:45Speaker 11: Well, Don, I'll tell you this. First of all, that's
- 1:17:47Speaker 11: a good sign when they come over and help you
- 1:17:49Speaker 11: up instead of coming over and just try to throw
- 1:17:50Speaker 11: dirt on you and bury you.
- 1:17:51Speaker 7: That would not be as good, but I'm glad to hear.
- 1:17:54Speaker 7: And thanks for the call. We need to take a break. Yeah,
- 1:17:57Speaker 7: you talk about the heat. I cannot handle the heat
- 1:17:58Speaker 7: like I used to.
- 1:17:59Speaker 11: And I've got 102 on my temperature gauge over here
- 1:18:02Speaker 11: right now. If I get out in this heat, I
- 1:18:04Speaker 11: immediately feel depleted and get worn out. And if I
- 1:18:08Speaker 11: tried to run, there's no way I could run a
- 1:18:09Speaker 11: mile or a half a mile in this. I just
- 1:18:12Speaker 11: can't handle this heat. But when it drops down to 90,
- 1:18:16Speaker 11: that's not even hot to me.
- 1:18:18Speaker 7: So it's interesting.
- 1:18:21Speaker 11: And I imagine as I get older, that's only going
- 1:18:22Speaker 11: to get worse, especially if I don't stay in as
- 1:18:24Speaker 11: good a shape.
- 1:18:25Speaker 7: I've been riding my.
- 1:18:26Speaker 11: You know, bike and stuff to try to make sure
- 1:18:27Speaker 11: I'm trying to stay in shape.
- 1:18:28Speaker 7: But I do that.
- 1:18:29Speaker 11: I've been doing the indoor bike because it's so hot outside.
- 1:18:31Speaker 11: I don't even have an outdoor bike anymore.
- 1:18:33Speaker 7: I've been looking.
- 1:18:34Speaker 11: I may get one eventually. I used to love her.
- 1:18:37Speaker 11: I wish they had the adult BMX bikes. Remember those
- 1:18:39Speaker 11: BMX bikes we had as kids? If they had those
- 1:18:42Speaker 11: for adults and they didn't cost an arm or leg,
- 1:18:44Speaker 11: I would get one because that's the bike I was
- 1:18:46Speaker 11: raised on.
- 1:18:46Speaker 7: Anyway, thanks for the call, Don. I appreciate it.
- 1:18:49Speaker 11: And I'm glad to hear you're doing a okay stay
- 1:18:50Speaker 11: in good shape don't yeah don't go fight that heat
- 1:18:55Speaker 11: boy that'll get you that man it got me it
- 1:18:59Speaker 11: got me told you guys with just a few weeks
- 1:19:01Speaker 11: ago I went up to the hill country and I
- 1:19:03Speaker 11: thought it was going to be like in the 80s
- 1:19:05Speaker 11: or low 90s it was about 120 where I was
- 1:19:08Speaker 11: working and it got me too hot So, anyway, 281-558-KSEV.

- 1:23:00Speaker 2: Is that bad?
- 1:23:03Speaker 7: It makes things a little tough.
- 1:23:06Speaker 28: Okay.
- 1:23:06Speaker 11: All right.
- 1:23:08Speaker 7: We'll get it back under control, I promise.
- 1:23:10Speaker 13: All right.
- 1:23:10Speaker 11: Welcome back to Chris X Radio. It is our hump
- 1:23:12Speaker 11: day edition of the program. If you want to join us, 281-558-KSCV, 281-558-5738. Okay,
- 1:23:19Speaker 11: I want to hit this story at the very least.
- 1:23:22Speaker 11: President Trump has announced the Navy has removed... All mines
- 1:23:26Speaker 11: from the Strait of Hormuz, the U.S. Navy cleared mines
- 1:23:29Speaker 11: from the strategic waterway and opened additional shipping routes for
- 1:23:32Speaker 11: what American officials are calling a, quote, watershed moment, unquote.
- 1:23:38Speaker 11: The move sharply diminished Tehran's leverage over global energy markets,
- 1:23:42Speaker 11: while Washington simultaneously chokes out the oil's the regime's own
- 1:23:46Speaker 11: oil revenue. Now, Trump announced today or yesterday that the
- 1:23:50Speaker 11: Navy had removed or detonated all of the mines in
- 1:23:53Speaker 11: the waters of the Strait of Hormuz, capping this battle
- 1:23:57Speaker 11: back and forth that had been going on, which was
- 1:24:00Speaker 11: able to neutralize Iran's most powerful remaining tools of economic pressure. Now,
- 1:24:06Speaker 11: once again, if this holds, this really changes the narrative. Quote,
- 1:24:10Speaker 11: I've just been informed by the U.S. Navy that all
- 1:24:13Speaker 11: of the mines have been removed and or detonated from
- 1:24:16Speaker 11: the international waters from the Strait of Hormuz, Trump wrote
- 1:24:20Speaker 11: on True Social. He coupled the announcements with a warning
- 1:24:23Speaker 11: that has been notified that any vessel attempting to lay
- 1:24:27Speaker 11: new landmines or water mines, I guess, would be, quote,
- 1:24:31Speaker 11: immediately and systematically destroyed, declaring a zero tolerance policy on
- 1:24:37Speaker 11: all mine placement. He added that the United States was watching,
- 1:24:41Speaker 11: using Space Force capabilities to watch every square inch of
- 1:24:46Speaker 11: the Strait, while also monitoring Iran's Pickaxe Mountain facility and
- 1:24:52Speaker 11: its three previously destroyed nuclear sites. The announcement followed a
- 1:24:56Speaker 11: months-long U.S. operation that has fundamentally altered the balance of
- 1:25:00Speaker 11: power over the waterway, which roughly contains one-fifth of the
- 1:25:03Speaker 11: world's oil and liquefied natural gas shipments, where they passed
- 1:25:08Speaker 11: through before.
- 1:25:08Speaker 7: The war began.
- 1:25:11Speaker 11: Now, the U.S. Navy underwater drones have spent months systematically
- 1:25:14Speaker 11: scanning the Strait of Hormuz and identifying more than 100
- 1:25:17Speaker 11: objects suspected of being mines, Axios reported, before private contractors
- 1:25:23Speaker 11: were brought in to remove or detonate them. So this
- 1:25:26Speaker 11: is actually... Could be really good news. Could also be,
- 1:25:30Speaker 11: once again, another step towards ending this thing. But at
- 1:25:33Speaker 11: the very least, even if we don't end it, if
- 1:25:35Speaker 11: we control the straight, this is something I've been talking
- 1:25:37Speaker 11: about for literally months now on the program. If we
- 1:25:39Speaker 11: control the straight, take away their ability to impede economic
- 1:25:43Speaker 11: progress and just don't let them have anything to do
- 1:25:46Speaker 11: with it, don't let their oil get to or leave
- 1:25:48Speaker 11: their area, they will run out.
- 1:25:50Speaker 7: It'll strangle the country.
- 1:25:52Speaker 11: And then, of course, we saw the economic pressure they're
- 1:25:55Speaker 11: putting on them from Scott Besson's announcement on Monday, Secretary,
- 1:25:59Speaker 11: you know, Treasury Secretary. And just we're slowly but surely
- 1:26:06Speaker 11: strangling the life out of that country and stopping them
- 1:26:09Speaker 11: from being a world player because they have been the
- 1:26:11Speaker 11: world's number one leader, the rogue nation of funding terrorist
- 1:26:16Speaker 11: proxies around the world. This is killing that. And it
- 1:26:21Speaker 11: needs to be the case.
- 1:26:22Speaker 7: All right, let's take a break. We'll come back.
- 1:26:24Speaker 11: I'll get into the Trump administration warning that, well, they
- 1:26:28Speaker 11: may have to demolish the Kennedy Center for Performance Arts
- 1:26:33Speaker 11: or whatever if they don't.
- 1:26:35Speaker 7: Allow the renovations.
- 1:26:36Speaker 11: Democrats are fighting him because he's trying to renovate the
- 1:26:39Speaker 11: Kennedy Center because they want his name on it. They
- 1:26:41Speaker 11: don't want his name on it. They want to pretend
- 1:26:43Speaker 11: as though Donald Trump doesn't exist. They don't want to
- 1:26:46Speaker 11: give him any credit for anything. They want to pretend
- 1:26:48Speaker 11: like he was never president. He was never there. All
- 1:26:51Speaker 11: they want to do is put him in the history
- 1:26:52Speaker 11: books as impeached over and over and over again. They're dirtbags,
- 1:26:58Speaker 11: kind of like that DA who wants to blow up
- 1:27:01Speaker 11: the new ballroom they're working on. Instead of using it
- 1:27:05Speaker 11: for a future Democrat president, he would rather blow it up.
- 1:27:08Speaker 11: That is the epitome of take my toys and go home.
- 1:27:12Speaker 11: You are selfish dirtbags and have no business being near
- 1:27:16Speaker 11: any levers of power in this country.
- 1:27:18Speaker 26: 281-558-KSCV.
- 1:27:18Speaker 7: We'll be right back.
- 1:27:23Speaker 15: The revolution continues after this. Chris X Radio.

- 1:27:41Speaker 19: Fight for what you believe in and protect your freedoms

- 1:28:17Speaker 27: After a hard rain, you can see them. The water
- 1:28:19Speaker 27: stains on the ceiling or the dripping water from a
- 1:28:22Speaker 27: recessed light. Now you start to get nervous because you
- 1:28:25Speaker 27: know leaks can cause big problems.
- 1:28:28Speaker 34: Once the water enters the structure, the trouble starts. Water
- 1:28:31Speaker 34: weakens rafters and beams over time. It soaks through drywall
- 1:28:35Speaker 34: and damages the insulation in your home.
- 1:28:37Speaker 27: And Roland, don't forget about mold. it grows fast in
- 1:28:41Speaker 27: our humidity and causes all kinds of health.
- 1:28:43Speaker 34: Problems i'd really hate to see you spend thousands on
- 1:28:46Speaker 34: expensive structural or drywall repairs or mold removal projects especially

- 1:29:17Speaker 3: Thank you so much for your radio show. I listen
- 1:29:19Speaker 3: to you all the time, and I find it of
- 1:29:21Speaker 3: great value.
- 1:29:22Speaker 7: Jim, that means so much to me.
- 1:29:23Speaker 15: I never dreamed when I started doing this 22 years
- 1:29:26Speaker 15: later I'd still be on the air with fine folks
- 1:29:28Speaker 15: like yourself.
- 1:29:28Speaker 3: Well, you may not get a lot of people calling in,
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: but I'm sure there's lots and lots of people listening
- 1:29:34Speaker 3: because your advice is very good.
- 1:29:36Speaker 15: That's awesome to hear.
- 1:29:37Speaker 9: Thank you.

- 1:29:59Speaker 25: From the KSCV Weather Center, tonight expect mainly clear skies
- 1:30:02Speaker 25: and very warm temperatures with a low of 80. Tomorrow
- 1:30:05Speaker 25: will be very warm with a mix of clouds and sun,
- 1:30:07Speaker 25: possibly leading to an afternoon thunderstorm in some areas reaching
- 1:30:10Speaker 25: a high of 100. Tomorrow night will be mostly cloudy
- 1:30:13Speaker 25: and humid with the chance of a thunderstorm, which could
- 1:30:15Speaker 25: impact visibility of the lunar eclipse with a low of 77.
- 1:30:18Speaker 25: Moving into Friday, anticipate mostly cloudy and humid conditions with
- 1:30:22Speaker 25: the possibility of a thunderstorm and a high of 94.
- 1:30:25Speaker 25: With the KSCV Weather Center forecast, I'm AccuWeather meteorologist Jason Catarina.
- 1:30:34Speaker 15: You can't stop him. You can only hope to contain him.
- 1:30:38Speaker 15: Chris X Radio.
- 1:30:49Speaker 11: Back when the Foo Fighters were rocking. I guess once
- 1:30:53Speaker 11: you get old, it's hard to maintain that edge, I guess.
- 1:30:57Speaker 11: I haven't really listened to any of their recent music.
- 1:31:00Speaker 11: I don't know if it's any good. It definitely doesn't
- 1:31:05Speaker 11: compare to their first three albums, which is amazing considering
- 1:31:08Speaker 11: Dave Grohl was the drummer for Nirvana. Their first three albums,
- 1:31:12Speaker 11: it was incredible. First couple albums, he did everything on
- 1:31:15Speaker 11: them because the guy can play everything. Then he added
- 1:31:19Speaker 11: some other guys, and he added a drummer, and that
- 1:31:21Speaker 11: drummer died, OD'd. He OD'd a couple of times. He
- 1:31:25Speaker 11: only died the second time. He was lucky enough to
- 1:31:29Speaker 11: make it the first time. So there's a history there. Anyway,
- 1:31:33Speaker 11: welcome back to Chris X Radio. By the way, he
- 1:31:35Speaker 11: played Outshine going out of the break, which was great.
- 1:31:38Speaker 11: That's one of those songs that I didn't like when
- 1:31:41Speaker 11: it first came out because I didn't really listen to it.
- 1:31:43Speaker 11: And then once I started tuning in and listened to it,
- 1:31:45Speaker 11: I realized the talent that Chris Cornell had. My God,
- 1:31:48Speaker 11: that guy was talented. Like I said, he had it.
- 1:31:51Speaker 11: And then little Nene Royal, she's got it too. She
- 1:31:54Speaker 11: did that performance last night on America's Got Talent. She
- 1:31:58Speaker 11: did Black Hole Sun. And her version, like I said,
- 1:32:01Speaker 11: she's a kid, but she can sing. She's got a
- 1:32:04Speaker 11: great voice too. She's actually a really talented singer. And
- 1:32:08Speaker 11: you almost don't even notice how talented she is as
- 1:32:11Speaker 11: a singer because of how good she is on the guitar.
- 1:32:15Speaker 11: But I've been once again following her band on on
- 1:32:18Speaker 11: social media for probably a couple of years now.
- 1:32:20Speaker 7: So when I saw she was going on the show,
- 1:32:22Speaker 7: I said, Oh, that's cool.
- 1:32:22Speaker 11: Cause I'd never watched America's Got Talent. And then just saw,
- 1:32:26Speaker 11: she just blew them away with her version of zombie.
- 1:32:30Speaker 7: And then that moved to the next round.
- 1:32:31Speaker 11: And then she got the golden buzzer last night, which
- 1:32:33Speaker 11: sends her directly to the finals. So Howie Mandel was like,
- 1:32:38Speaker 11: just give her the money, give her the million dollars.
- 1:32:40Speaker 7: Which I didn't even know. That's what they got.
- 1:32:42Speaker 11: I didn't know they got a million dollars, but she's
- 1:32:46Speaker 11: there with her mom and her dad. And you can
- 1:32:48Speaker 11: just see how proud her dad is of her. Like
- 1:32:52Speaker 11: I said, you can tell she's a good kid. And
- 1:32:56Speaker 11: she claims she wanted to be a rock star. No,
- 1:33:00Speaker 11: young lady, you already are a rock star. Now everybody's
- 1:33:02Speaker 11: seeing it because America's Got Talent. And boy, it was
- 1:33:07Speaker 11: on display last night. Her performance was... Pretty darn good.
- 1:33:10Speaker 11: All right, welcome back to the program. If you want
- 1:33:11Speaker 11: to join us, we've got this segment and one more remaining. 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738.
- 1:33:20Speaker 11: Or if you download the app and listen, you can
- 1:33:21Speaker 11: literally call directly from the app, which is kind of cool.
- 1:33:25Speaker 7: That's always good.
- 1:33:28Speaker 11: Okay, so the Trump administration is warning that the Kennedy
- 1:33:30Speaker 11: Center may need to be demolished. if it doesn't get
- 1:33:34Speaker 11: the renovations, because Democrats, for some reason, have decided to
- 1:33:38Speaker 11: fight Donald Trump on everything, whether it's building a ballroom
- 1:33:40Speaker 11: and making the White House better to have its own
- 1:33:43Speaker 11: in-house venue so they can have events and things that
- 1:33:46Speaker 11: the president doesn't have to travel to, probably would end
- 1:33:48Speaker 11: up saving money over time, and.
- 1:33:51Speaker 7: Our taxpayer dollars aren't paying for it, once again.
- 1:33:55Speaker 11: The stupidity of it all. The Democrats are fighting and
- 1:33:58Speaker 11: then want to blow it up after it's built.
- 1:34:00Speaker 7: Yeah, good call.
- 1:34:02Speaker 11: A recent legal filing made by the Trump administration says
- 1:34:04Speaker 11: the Kennedy Center is structurally unsound, fundamentally unsafe and embarrassing
- 1:34:10Speaker 11: to the nation's capital, arguing in favor of an ambitious
- 1:34:14Speaker 11: renovation of the building. The filing notes that President Trump
- 1:34:18Speaker 11: obtained $ 258 million in funding from Congress for capital restoration
- 1:34:24Speaker 11: and has marshaled a new donor base to finance an
- 1:34:27Speaker 11: endowment for the center, according to NBC News. The report
- 1:34:30Speaker 11: added that a potential outdoor amphitheater would fail to adequately
- 1:34:34Speaker 11: honor former President John F. Kennedy, but would be simpler
- 1:34:39Speaker 11: and more economical to build, operate and maintain. Without those efforts,
- 1:34:43Speaker 11: the center will deteriorate further into an unsafe, decrepit structure
- 1:34:47Speaker 11: that will be required to be taken down with a
- 1:34:50Speaker 11: determination to follow on what to build on the site,
- 1:34:54Speaker 11: such as a large outdoor amphitheater overlooking the Potomac that
- 1:34:58Speaker 11: has been proposed by some, but for many years, attorneys
- 1:35:03Speaker 11: wrote from the Justice Department. Ohio Democrat Representative Joyce Beatty
- 1:35:08Speaker 11: An ex-officio board member of the Kennedy Center filed a
- 1:35:11Speaker 11: lawsuit attempting to end the Trump administration's efforts to save
- 1:35:14Speaker 11: the building. Why?
- 1:35:18Speaker 7: She is seeking an.
- 1:35:19Speaker 11: Injunction to stop the board from naming various areas of
- 1:35:23Speaker 11: the center to honor Trump, which are part of the
- 1:35:27Speaker 11: efforts to restore the building's condition. She's so mad and
- 1:35:33Speaker 11: so angry that his name possibly could be on the
- 1:35:35Speaker 11: building that That they would rather it be torn down.
- 1:35:41Speaker 11: Does this sound like someone who cares about the American people?
- 1:35:44Speaker 11: Or do they sound like people that only care about themselves?
- 1:35:49Speaker 11: That is today's Democrat Party. They only care about power.
- 1:35:54Speaker 11: Democrats are attempting to halt the two-year renovation project, which
- 1:35:58Speaker 11: involves extensive electrical stage and leak prevention repairs, work on
- 1:36:02Speaker 11: the venues, heating and cooling electrical and fire safety systems,
- 1:36:05Speaker 11: and is expected to be complete by 2028.
- 1:36:08Speaker 7: Be done in a couple of years.
- 1:36:10Speaker 11: But God forbid, God forbid the guy who actually has
- 1:36:13Speaker 11: built multiple buildings in Chicago and Washington, D.C. and New York.
- 1:36:18Speaker 11: I mean, he's built them all over the place. But
- 1:36:21Speaker 11: God forbid he have anything to do with making the
- 1:36:24Speaker 11: Kennedy Center great. Can't allow him to make it great again,
- 1:36:28Speaker 11: can we? Just like that dirtbag DA saying the new ballroom,
- 1:36:34Speaker 11: when it's done, it should be blown up. I remember
- 1:36:38Speaker 11: a time not too long ago in the country when
- 1:36:40Speaker 11: the Democrats would call that insurrection. That's very insurrection-y. It's
- 1:36:49Speaker 11: only insurrection when it's not a Democrat doing it. It's
- 1:36:53Speaker 11: why they welcome terrorists to our shores, unvetted, and want
- 1:36:57Speaker 11: to continue doing that. Speaking of dirtbags, a federal judge
- 1:37:04Speaker 11: struck down a 2023 Texas law yesterday. Ruling the state
- 1:37:09Speaker 11: cannot enforce its drag show ban as it violates the
- 1:37:12Speaker 11: First Amendment's guarantee of free speech while its definitions were
- 1:37:16Speaker 11: so broad. The judge claims a U.S. District Judge David
- 1:37:20Speaker 11: Hittner said would put Dolly Parton behind bars. Huh? You know,
- 1:37:29Speaker 11: the facts don't line up on your side to just
- 1:37:30Speaker 11: make stuff up. Yeah, Dolly Parton didn't mind drag queens.
- 1:37:34Speaker 11: She didn't mind anyone. She was actually a very loving individual,
- 1:37:36Speaker 11: but I'm pretty sure she didn't want drag queens for children.
- 1:37:43Speaker 11: But let's just forget that. We'll just use her for
- 1:37:45Speaker 11: political purposes because that's what we do. It's like David
- 1:37:48Speaker 11: Outspring couldn't even contain himself. Not one day could he
- 1:37:51Speaker 11: call in and not take a stab at Trump. They
- 1:37:54Speaker 11: suffer from Trump derangement syndrome. They're insane. Liberalism is a
- 1:37:59Speaker 11: mental disorder. They can't contain themselves. They can't help it.
- 1:38:05Speaker 11: They're so damn angry that Donald Trump exists in this
- 1:38:08Speaker 11: world that they can't help it. They have to do
- 1:38:11Speaker 11: everything they can to demean him.
- 1:38:12Speaker 7: Factually or not.
- 1:38:14Speaker 11: Doesn't matter. Facts be damned. We don't care about the truth.
- 1:38:18Speaker 11: All we care about is what we want. And what
- 1:38:20Speaker 11: we want is Donald Trump not to exist.
- 1:38:22Speaker 7: We hate him. So they've tried to kill him multiple times.
- 1:38:25Speaker 11: They've tried to impeach him multiple times. They will try
- 1:38:27Speaker 11: again if they get power back. If they win back
- 1:38:30Speaker 11: the Senate or the House, they're definitely going to try
- 1:38:34Speaker 11: to impeach Donald Trump again.
- 1:38:35Speaker 7: What for? Doesn't matter.
- 1:38:37Speaker 11: Al Green.
- 1:38:39Speaker 7: He's on his way out the.
- 1:38:39Speaker 11: Door, and he's still bringing up articles of impeachment. He
- 1:38:43Speaker 11: can't help himself. He just, we've got to impeach him
- 1:38:45Speaker 11: over and over and over and over and over and
- 1:38:46Speaker 11: over again. I can't stand it. I am only focused
- 1:38:49Speaker 11: on impeaching Donald Trump, not actually working for their constituency.
- 1:38:55Speaker 11: Because that makes sense, right? Anyway.
- 1:39:03Speaker 7: U.S.
- 1:39:03Speaker 11: District Judge David Hittner, appointed by Ronald Reagan, of all people,
- 1:39:06Speaker 11: ruled the measure known as Texas Senate Bill 12 improperly
- 1:39:10Speaker 11: restricted speech with its language that included banning, quote, any
- 1:39:15Speaker 11: sexually oriented performance to be presented on the premises or
- 1:39:20Speaker 11: in the presence of an individual younger than 18 years
- 1:39:22Speaker 11: of age in a Texas business. Huh? I'm going to
- 1:39:28Speaker 11: read that one more time. Somehow an improperly restricted speech
- 1:39:33Speaker 11: that bans any sexually oriented performance to be presented on
- 1:39:38Speaker 11: the premises in the presence of an individual younger than
- 1:39:41Speaker 11: 18 years of age in a Texas business. So Democrats
- 1:39:47Speaker 11: are going to the wall because they want to be
- 1:39:50Speaker 11: able to have these LGBTQ plus whatever and drag queens
- 1:39:55Speaker 11: and total weirdos.
- 1:39:56Speaker 7: Performing for people under the age of 18.
- 1:39:58Speaker 11: That's why they fought so hard to have their drag
- 1:40:01Speaker 11: queen storybook hour in libraries and schools.
- 1:40:08Speaker 7: These advocacy groups and.
- 1:40:10Speaker 11: Drag performers sued the state after the bill's passage three
- 1:40:12Speaker 11: years ago, arguing on the ban that sexually orientated or
- 1:40:16Speaker 11: oriented performance was overly broad and therefore unconstitutional. It's according
- 1:40:22Speaker 11: to Courthouse News. Judge Hittner, a member of the Southern
- 1:40:26Speaker 11: District of Texas federal bench, previously said, sided with those
- 1:40:29Speaker 11: opposing the law in his first injunction in 2023. But
- 1:40:33Speaker 11: the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals overturned that injunction in
- 1:40:36Speaker 11: late 2025 and allowed the Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton,
- 1:40:39Speaker 11: to resume enforcement, according to the news outlet. However, the
- 1:40:45Speaker 11: appellate court judge gave the judge instructions on how to
- 1:40:47Speaker 11: reassess the statute, which Hittner now apparently has done with
- 1:40:51Speaker 11: his new ruling. The ruling again prevents Paxton, who's running
- 1:40:54Speaker 11: for U.S. Senate, from enforcing the law and denies his
- 1:40:57Speaker 11: motion for a new trial. NBC and other news outlets
- 1:41:00Speaker 11: reported Hittner also gave some advice to those who find
- 1:41:04Speaker 11: such activities described in this case as offensive.
- 1:41:07Speaker 7: Listen, I'm not a squirrel. I am not a prude.
- 1:41:10Speaker 11: But that is offensive. The solution is relatively simple. Just
- 1:41:16Speaker 11: don't go. That's not the problem. The problem is people
- 1:41:20Speaker 11: having children under the age of 18 being subjected to
- 1:41:23Speaker 11: this garbage. The state law called for business owners in
- 1:41:27Speaker 11: violation of the state to be fined up to $ 10, 000
- 1:41:30Speaker 11: for hosting each event. How about don't allow children there?
- 1:41:34Speaker 11: Could you guys do that? No, they can't help themselves
- 1:41:36Speaker 11: because they are coming for your children.
- 1:41:38Speaker 7: They have told us as much. You got to get to.
- 1:41:41Speaker 11: Them young, pervert their minds young, and then that way
- 1:41:44Speaker 11: they'll think this is somehow normalized. Performers could be charged
- 1:41:48Speaker 11: with a misdemeanor carrying a penalty as much as a
- 1:41:50Speaker 11: year in jail. The judge based his new ruling on
- 1:41:53Speaker 11: a U.S. Supreme Court decision, Moody v. Net Choice, in
- 1:41:56Speaker 11: its framework. According to Courthouse News, Hittner blocked the state's
- 1:42:00Speaker 11: enforcement on two grounds. The definitions it relies are overly broad,
- 1:42:05Speaker 11: and the law is, quote, an unconstitutional form of both
- 1:42:08Speaker 11: content and viewpoint discrimination. Hittner pointed to three terms of
- 1:42:13Speaker 11: the law that relies on visual performances, nude and prurient
- 1:42:18Speaker 11: interest in sex. In a statement on X, Attorney General
- 1:42:23Speaker 11: Paxton wrote he would immediately appeal Hittner's ruling. This is
- 1:42:28Speaker 11: a profoundly flawed decision that endangers children and is a
- 1:42:31Speaker 11: front to Texas values. And he will vote, continue to,
- 1:42:34Speaker 11: I'm sorry, he will, he vowed, he will continue to
- 1:42:38Speaker 11: fight to protect our kids.
- 1:42:40Speaker 7: I'm going to vote for that guy than the guy who.
- 1:42:42Speaker 11: Wants to trans your children.
- 1:42:43Speaker 7: That's just me.
- 1:42:44Speaker 11: I'm weird. All right, 281-558-KSV. Let's take a short break.

- 1:45:33Speaker 35: Garage Door Doctor.
- 1:45:35Speaker 4: We got a call late New Year's Eve.
- 1:45:36Speaker 24: A father with big plans for his family the next
- 1:45:39Speaker 24: day said his garage door spring just snapped. He couldn't
- 1:45:41Speaker 24: get his car out and wouldn't be able to get
- 1:45:43Speaker 24: his family to where they needed to go. He felt
- 1:45:45Speaker 24: stuck and alone. So we showed up fast with the
- 1:45:48Speaker 24: right spring and the right parts to fix it right.
- 1:45:50Speaker 24: We didn't talk about the price. We didn't wait till
- 1:45:52Speaker 24: the morning. We fixed it right then. Because at Garage
- 1:45:56Speaker 24: Door Doctor, it's never just about the job. It's about
- 1:45:59Speaker 24: the person behind it. The dad, the veteran, the grandpa,

- 1:46:06Speaker 24: When you need help, we're the ones.

- 1:46:19Speaker 11: When it comes to garage doors, no one knows more
- 1:46:22Speaker 11: than the doctor.
- 1:46:27Speaker 2: And now, back to Chris X Radio on The Voice
- 1:46:30Speaker 2: of Texas.
- 1:46:41Speaker 11: And it's shown on the local news or maybe the
- 1:46:43Speaker 11: network news. Tim Curry in younger days when he was
- 1:46:46Speaker 11: young and starring in the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
- 1:46:50Speaker 7: Which, by the way, was the worst of the Rocky films.
- 1:46:53Speaker 11: I mean, it was an entertaining movie, but I mean,
- 1:46:56Speaker 11: it didn't even have Sylvester Stallone in it.
- 1:47:01Speaker 7: Rest in peace, Tim Curry and Dolly Parton.
- 1:47:04Speaker 11: And Frank Beard.
- 1:47:05Speaker 7: And then I was about to say Don just emailed me.
- 1:47:08Speaker 7: I forgot. Tommy John. I saw that. He died on
- 1:47:10Speaker 7: August 15th.
- 1:47:12Speaker 11: He was 83 years old.
- 1:47:13Speaker 7: And that's, like I said, people, once they get in
- 1:47:15Speaker 7: their 80s, that's sort of kind of where it goes. Anyway,
- 1:47:18Speaker 7: welcome back to the program.
- 1:47:19Speaker 11: We're about to wrap things up here on our Wednesday show,
- 1:47:21Speaker 11: our hump day edition of the program. And then we'll
- 1:47:24Speaker 11: be back tomorrow for our Friday show on Thursday. That
- 1:47:27Speaker 11: is where we have a little fun. I know so
- 1:47:29Speaker 11: many people think I'm just a goof all the time,
- 1:47:31Speaker 11: playing sweet transvestite and Low T, Tallarico. But no, tomorrow
- 1:47:37Speaker 11: we'll actually have a little fun. That's when we do
- 1:47:38Speaker 11: our Friday show on Thursday because the Amigos take over
- 1:47:41Speaker 11: every Friday from 4 to 6. So we, of course,
- 1:47:44Speaker 11: manipulate the time-space continuum, move our program 24 hours ahead
- 1:47:48Speaker 11: of everybody else. So we start the weekend off 24
- 1:47:51Speaker 11: hours ahead of everybody. So we kick it off next week.
- 1:47:54Speaker 11: We have a little fun. We do our Friday show.
- 1:47:57Speaker 7: Sometimes I play some Alex Jones stuff.
- 1:48:02Speaker 11: Do we ever get strikes on our, you know, we
- 1:48:05Speaker 11: post the video now on like, you know, Twitter X
- 1:48:08Speaker 11: and Facebook and YouTube and Rumble. Do we get strikes
- 1:48:12Speaker 11: if I play like the Alex Jones bits? Do we
- 1:48:14Speaker 11: get strikes for that?
- 1:48:17Speaker 10: I'm not sure.
- 1:48:18Speaker 11: Let's give it a shot. okay i know lucas was
- 1:48:22Speaker 11: telling me that well well i think i'm banned in
- 1:48:24Speaker 11: certain parts of russia from was it because i played
- 1:48:27Speaker 11: a song or is it just because they don't like
- 1:48:29Speaker 11: freedom of speech there.
- 1:48:30Speaker 10: Well they're just big mad at american music i think i.
- 1:48:34Speaker 11: Think you're right i think they are big bad at
- 1:48:36Speaker 11: it Anyway, so we'll do our Friday show on Thursday tomorrow.
- 1:48:40Speaker 11: So make sure you tune in for that. And then,
- 1:48:42Speaker 11: of course, tune in on the Amigos every Friday from
- 1:48:45Speaker 11: 4 to 6. Well, they got to do the show
- 1:48:49Speaker 11: right in the middle of that box over at our
- 1:48:51Speaker 11: transmitter side that exploded yesterday. It done blowed up. The
- 1:48:56Speaker 11: transmitter blowed up. Now, that was our old transmitter. This
- 1:48:59Speaker 11: transmitter's fine.
- 1:49:00Speaker 7: It's just the box that carries the signal. I don't know.
- 1:49:03Speaker 11: I have no idea. It blew up because we're increasing
- 1:49:06Speaker 11: the power. We're trying to get you a better signal.
- 1:49:09Speaker 11: And that's going to be about a month from now.
- 1:49:10Speaker 11: Sometime in September, it should be done. And you guys
- 1:49:14Speaker 11: are going to love it. Until then, download the KCV
- 1:49:17Speaker 11: Radio app or listen online at KCV Radio or the
- 1:49:20Speaker 11: TuneIn app. You can get our program there as well.
- 1:49:24Speaker 11: So you just take your pick. OK, here's we wrap
- 1:49:26Speaker 11: up a couple of things very quickly. Texas Attorney General
- 1:49:29Speaker 11: Ken Paxton issued a data center plan on Monday. He's
- 1:49:34Speaker 11: calling for federal legislation to block Chinese technology in the
- 1:49:37Speaker 11: facilities and criminal liability for centers that power AI chat
- 1:49:42Speaker 11: bots that could harm children. So once again, still working
- 1:49:46Speaker 11: on behalf of Texans. And he also announced today that
- 1:49:50Speaker 11: they're getting a $ 1 billion settlement from Meta Platforms Incorporated
- 1:49:54Speaker 11: that will go to the state of Texas. This is
- 1:49:57Speaker 11: on top of the previously secured $ 1. 4 billion settlement with
- 1:50:01Speaker 11: Meta over allegations that the company unlawfully collected and used
- 1:50:05Speaker 11: Texans' biometric data. And he finalized a $ 1. 375 billion settlement
- 1:50:11Speaker 11: with Google related to allegations that the company violated Texas'
- 1:50:14Speaker 11: privacy rights. So are you going to vote for that guy,
- 1:50:18Speaker 11: or are you going to vote for the guy who's
- 1:50:20Speaker 11: trans-obsessed with children? I'm not voting for Loti Tallarico. In fact,
- 1:50:28Speaker 11: I'm going to do everything I can to make sure
- 1:50:30Speaker 11: that we don't get that guy. I'm going to vote
- 1:50:33Speaker 11: for the guy that has literally brought in billions of
- 1:50:35Speaker 11: dollars in settlements and held the federal government at bay
- 1:50:40Speaker 11: using the legal system from violating taxes. That's me.
- 1:50:43Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:50:44Speaker 11: I'm weird, I guess.
- 1:50:44Speaker 7: All right, gang, be safe. We'll see you tomorrow.
