- 1:15Speaker 5: going pretty grousey, your mad dog. You're six cent of
- 1:18Speaker 5: the But yeah, it's weird, isn't it. There's nobody in
- 1:20Speaker 5: Auckland at all. The streets are empty, our office is empty.
- 1:23Speaker 5: There's nobody here. But that doesn't matter to us because
- 1:26Speaker 5: we're really really popular everywhere else in the country. Everywhere.
- 1:30Speaker 5: Everybody in Auckland hates us anyway. It means nothing to
- 1:33Speaker 5: us whether they whether they're at work or in the
- 1:36Speaker 5: office or anything else.
- 1:37Speaker 2: How true?
- 1:37Speaker 5: Is that so true?
- 1:39Speaker 2: Jeese? To tell you what's you're looking good?
- 1:40Speaker 3: Mate? Is that it?
- 1:42Speaker 5: Yeah? Man?
- 1:43Speaker 3: There's no like, oh you got your goofy blah blah
- 1:46Speaker 3: shirit on or anything like that.
- 1:47Speaker 2: No, no, you look fantastic. Have you been working out?
- 1:51Speaker 5: I haven't, okay, And one problem I would say, if
- 1:53Speaker 5: I had to point something out, it's for all of
- 1:55Speaker 5: us as well. We're all losing our tans. We've got
- 1:57Speaker 5: no tans left. Yeah, I think I pretty Are you
- 2:00Speaker 5: shocking what you're shocking? We're all shocking because weather sucks.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Yeah, man, it's pretty doumb bus means be getting bitter
- 2:08Speaker 3: soon though, fellas, So you just hold on good stuff.
- 2:10Speaker 5: Keezy, Hey, Jase. How you going, Man?
- 2:12Speaker 3: You've got your wacky blue.
- 2:14Speaker 5: You were it again? Is it wacky because you wore
- 2:16Speaker 5: that on Friday eight?
- 2:17Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:17Speaker 2: Yeah, but I've obviously washed it since then.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Feels have you? Yeah?
- 2:21Speaker 5: Do you watch something to give you time you wear it?
- 2:23Speaker 3: Yes?
- 2:24Speaker 5: It's funny, isn't it.
- 2:25Speaker 2: We as I've previously discussed, through two or three loads
- 2:28Speaker 2: a day, there's.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Three of us living in the house, and I'm like,
- 2:33Speaker 3: what is going on? So much washing?
- 2:37Speaker 5: You would know if you ever did the washing. Yeah,
- 2:40Speaker 5: it's true, you know, you just you don't know what's
- 2:43Speaker 5: going on here. As you were saying, oh here, here
- 2:48Speaker 5: we go, that's not your area.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Yeah, oh lord, what's coming up on the show?
- 3:00Speaker 3: What's happening on the Big Show with old Mogi.
- 3:03Speaker 5: God, we've got a good show. It's a shame that
- 3:04Speaker 5: nobody in awkland's listening to us, but that is the norm.
- 3:07Speaker 5: I'm going to be giving my verdict on electric cars.
- 3:10Speaker 5: I went for a roady and electric car over the
- 3:13Speaker 5: New Year's and Christmas break there, and I'll be breaking
- 3:16Speaker 5: it down for your backbones before you go out and
- 3:18Speaker 5: buy one. I'm very, very, very excited today we get
- 3:23Speaker 5: to hear all about Keysy's hot date that he had
- 3:25Speaker 5: on Friday night. We don't know who it was with.
- 3:29Speaker 5: We don't know where he when. I really don't ruin it, really, yeah,
- 3:33Speaker 5: just hold on to it, Y. I'm very excited about that.
- 3:36Speaker 5: We don't know who it was with. And of course
- 3:38Speaker 5: we'll be talking all things Auckland Anniversary. The interesting thing
- 3:42Speaker 5: I think about this is nobody knows what it's for.
- 3:44Speaker 5: What exactly is the anniversary will be delving deep into
- 3:46Speaker 5: this bars to given our next how good Man. In
- 3:48Speaker 5: the meantime, here's thisennover down three four eight three. If
- 3:51Speaker 5: you want to get in contacts.
- 3:53Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarky Cake.
- 3:57Speaker 2: There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Monday afternoon.
- 4:00Speaker 2: The time is eleven minutes past four o'clock. For those
- 4:03Speaker 2: of you unaware, it is of course Auckland Anniversary Day,
- 4:05Speaker 2: which means that if you live in Auckland and I
- 4:08Speaker 2: believe the Bop and Gizzy.
- 4:09Speaker 5: And why cuts away in Northland?
- 4:11Speaker 2: Yes no really today, fellers, no work today, so the holiday.
- 4:15Speaker 3: The northern half of the North Island is on holiday today.
- 4:18Speaker 5: But that's because they all have their own anniversaries, not
- 4:20Speaker 5: because they're all celebrating in Auckland anniversary.
- 4:23Speaker 3: I wouldn't have thought, yeah, that's interesting. So they're not
- 4:25Speaker 3: celebrating Auckland.
- 4:26Speaker 2: That's bullshit, because I would imagine it's.
- 4:28Speaker 5: The greatest city.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I imagine that the rest of the country would
- 4:32Speaker 2: love the idea of Auckland as having a day off
- 4:35Speaker 2: and would celebrate that.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Actually, why don't we say everyone takes through three four
- 4:39Speaker 3: eight three? Why Auckland is your favorite city?
- 4:41Speaker 5: That's right?
- 4:42Speaker 3: And everyone goes in the drawer for a fifty dollars
- 4:44Speaker 3: reburg of.
- 4:44Speaker 5: Ourtually they probably even take some calls on that, because
- 4:46Speaker 5: I know how passionate people get totally.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, why is Auckland your favorite city and the
- 4:51Speaker 3: best city in New Zealand. So it is, as we said,
- 4:55Speaker 3: Auckland Anniversary day. Why cuts all bay a Play, Northland
- 4:58Speaker 3: and Gisbone all have the day off? But it's like,
- 5:00Speaker 3: what what what's the reason?
- 5:01Speaker 5: What do we what's the reason for the season?
- 5:04Speaker 3: Keezy? As they say, that's right, Well.
- 5:06Speaker 5: It's essentially it's a birthday, isn't it. But what constitutes
- 5:09Speaker 5: the birth of not just a city. I'm assuming it's
- 5:13Speaker 5: a region, Yeah, you see what I'm saying. Yeah, I
- 5:16Speaker 5: see what you're saying. Man, I'm just doing some research here.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I think just before you get into that kizzy.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Initial idea was it Auckland, as you know, over the
- 5:24Speaker 2: Christmas holidays, spent their time in the yachts and all
- 5:26Speaker 2: that sort of stuff. Came back from the Christmas Holidays
- 5:29Speaker 2: and were densely fatigued from quaffing all that champagne and
- 5:34Speaker 2: boating and all that sort of stuff, and they needed
- 5:36Speaker 2: an extra day sort of in the in the beginning
- 5:39Speaker 2: of January just to readjust.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Right, So it was rich people coming back onto Land
- 5:44Speaker 3: and needing a day off.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Yes, pretty much get rid of the legs, right.
- 5:49Speaker 5: I thought it was to acclimatize. It's sort of like
- 5:51Speaker 5: jet leg, but it's super yacht.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Leg yacht leg. Yes, right, doing some research here, and
- 5:59Speaker 3: you know how Wikipedia can be pretty notoriously like you know, wrong.
- 6:03Speaker 3: It says here that it falls on the Monday closest
- 6:05Speaker 3: into the twenty ninth of January, which is the anniversary
- 6:08Speaker 3: of the arrival of William Hobson, who was a letter
- 6:10Speaker 3: on the first governor of New Zealand, and that was
- 6:12Speaker 3: an eighteen forty.
- 6:13Speaker 5: Yeah, that's true, eighteen forty.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Jess. That seems like yesterday, does, doesn't it? Yeah, it
- 6:18Speaker 3: really does.
- 6:19Speaker 5: New Ulster it was called back then Kesey. That was
- 6:22Speaker 5: the name that Hobbs gave it, new Ulster. Really yeah,
- 6:24Speaker 5: yeah yeah, which doesn't sound right does it now? It
- 6:26Speaker 5: sounds about Irish to me? It does.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Well, that's what they used to do though, right, because
- 6:30Speaker 3: New York was like, oh, this is going to be
- 6:32Speaker 3: the New York, which already exists.
- 6:34Speaker 5: What about New Zealand. Yeah, it's going to be the
- 6:37Speaker 5: new version of Zealand, Yes, which also exists. New Plymouth. Yes,
- 6:41Speaker 5: this is the modern version of Old Plymouth. Yes, that's wrong,
- 6:43Speaker 5: new town, modern version of a town. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 6:48Speaker 5: new Way.
- 6:50Speaker 2: But I I'm confused as to why you know we
- 6:55Speaker 2: need a holiday for that. I mean, Hobson, good onlam,
- 6:57Speaker 2: he's a governor. I mean it just feels a boat.
- 7:01Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:01Speaker 2: It just feels to me like we're taking the piss
- 7:02Speaker 2: a little bit and going, oh, well, he found you know,
- 7:04Speaker 2: he sort of found the place he was governor, so
- 7:06Speaker 2: we should all take the day off.
- 7:08Speaker 5: It is weird, isn't it?
- 7:09Speaker 3: Yes?
- 7:10Speaker 5: Because who cares wouldn't it be better to take the
- 7:14Speaker 5: day off to celebrate Jay's birthday? That makes more sense
- 7:19Speaker 5: to me, makes to celebrate than old mate turned up
- 7:24Speaker 5: in his boat. Yeah. True.
- 7:26Speaker 3: By the way, there's lots of great texts coming in
- 7:28Speaker 3: basically patting Auckland on the back for being so awesome.
- 7:31Speaker 3: For example, the first one says piss off.
- 7:33Speaker 5: Yeah, that's probably addressed that someone. Yeah, it's probably someone else,
- 7:37Speaker 5: Big Sandy. What about the one that says Aukland as
- 7:41Speaker 5: a shithole? It was probably for Big as well.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Yeah, keep them coming here three four eight three, tell
- 7:47Speaker 2: us why you love Auckland so much and frankly, why
- 7:50Speaker 2: we deserve a holiday today? Queen did the sign age.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Old I keep Big Show with Mike and tune in
- 8:01Speaker 1: week days at four on Radio hod.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Acicual super Groove.
- 8:03Speaker 2: There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Monday afternoon,
- 8:06Speaker 2: the time twenty one minutes past four o'clock. And I
- 8:09Speaker 2: believe I heard the Rebig Year Sting in that that
- 8:13Speaker 2: song Keezy, this.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Is Pugs is new Rebiggest Sting.
- 8:26Speaker 5: What do we think it's good?
- 8:29Speaker 2: Just on Pugs. I came in early just to prep
- 8:32Speaker 2: for the show, and he was sitting by himself on
- 8:37Speaker 2: the studio. There no one else in the opposite He
- 8:39Speaker 2: was bored out of his ass, he said, I came in.
- 8:42Speaker 2: He drove up from the Hawkes Bay today early thinking,
- 8:46Speaker 2: you know, I'm going to go and do my job.
- 8:48Speaker 2: He got here at about one and had nothing to do, right,
- 8:51Speaker 2: just so he created this absolutely genius thing. She'll go
- 8:59Speaker 2: to the lion spell get in your mad barst Hell's life.
- 9:04Speaker 1: You makee going good?
- 9:05Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 9:06Speaker 2: Yeah, good things mate, big week? He in Eston or
- 9:08Speaker 2: did you take it easy?
- 9:10Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 9:11Speaker 3: She was pretty flat stick to be honest.
- 9:12Speaker 5: Yeah, right, Have you got any demons? You can talk
- 9:15Speaker 5: those through?
- 9:15Speaker 3: Man, I'm just down at the locals often a few
- 9:20Speaker 3: demons there.
- 9:20Speaker 5: You had a shocker, did you really?
- 9:27Speaker 3: Hey, We'll just ask you a few questions just for
- 9:29Speaker 3: Edmund reasons, mate, and then you will flick you out
- 9:31Speaker 3: of Just.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Need to make sure you're not AI. Yeah, got to
- 9:34Speaker 5: make sure you're not a robot. Man, you're a robot?
- 9:37Speaker 5: You're good, okay.
- 9:40Speaker 3: These these questions are designed to sniff out a robot. Basically, Heysten,
- 9:45Speaker 3: what do you do for a crust? I replaced the
- 9:48Speaker 3: batteries on the reflectors in the middle of the road.
- 9:51Speaker 5: Ah. Good, that's a good job, man, Jesus. Let's keep
- 9:55Speaker 5: you busy.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Yeah, nice, reflect needed better?
- 10:00Speaker 5: Is it's crazy? It's real? Hey, Aston, what's for dinner?
- 10:05Speaker 1: Ah?
- 10:06Speaker 3: I to be honest, I have no idea.
- 10:07Speaker 8: I'm probably got me sword of there.
- 10:09Speaker 5: You're nice Aston. Would you make love to a robot?
- 10:15Speaker 5: She looked like the mess?
- 10:16Speaker 3: Then probably you get on your say that how often
- 10:20Speaker 3: do you floss?
- 10:23Speaker 5: Never?
- 10:23Speaker 3: Actually never?
- 10:24Speaker 5: That's the one.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Yeah, nice Baton's breadth recks?
- 10:28Speaker 5: Heyes. So what color are your andies?
- 10:31Speaker 7: Uh?
- 10:34Speaker 5: Yeah, glossy metallic stuff.
- 10:38Speaker 2: The good thing about the old black andy is as
- 10:40Speaker 2: they hide the stains.
- 10:43Speaker 5: And one last question that asked, and what's your deepest fear? Mate?
- 10:47Speaker 7: Uh?
- 10:48Speaker 3: I hate planes, to be honest with Probably that plains
- 10:53Speaker 3: And we've had a height heights and planes. Yeah you go,
- 10:56Speaker 3: and that's fifty rebig abouch is all yours?
- 10:58Speaker 5: Mate? God?
- 11:00Speaker 3: Yeah, you hold the line of old pugs on there
- 11:01Speaker 3: will sort you out, hey, fellas, good news.
- 11:05Speaker 5: A lot of.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Great, great ticks coming in regarding Auckland's Yeah, and the
- 11:10Speaker 3: New Zealanders basically and how much they love Auckland.
- 11:12Speaker 2: I mean it is a great city, isn't it keesy?
- 11:14Speaker 2: And I mean I think everyone in the country aspires
- 11:18Speaker 2: to move to Auckland. I mean, I mean, if you're
- 11:21Speaker 2: in christ Church or Dunedin or Wellington, I think in
- 11:24Speaker 2: the back of your mind you're always planning on how
- 11:27Speaker 2: do I get to Auckland, you know what I mean?
- 11:28Speaker 2: Because of the climate, the opportunities, the great people, the
- 11:32Speaker 2: souper yachts, the electric cars, restaurants, all of that sort
- 11:37Speaker 2: of stuff.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Yeah, so basically anyone listening that doesn't live in Auckland
- 11:41Speaker 3: kind of trying to figure out how to get to
- 11:42Speaker 3: Walkland exactly be here if they could. Auckland is the
- 11:45Speaker 3: best city because it's far away. Cheers Erica and Wellington.
- 11:48Speaker 5: Yeah, somebody else sticks for here, Jason Street for its
- 11:51Speaker 5: Dorkland Dorkland, Dorkland. What does that even mean? I don't
- 11:55Speaker 5: even get that. Ethan says, I love or on for
- 12:00Speaker 5: all the rich MILFs. What are MILF's? Yeah, yeah, what
- 12:06Speaker 5: is that?
- 12:08Speaker 9: Magi?
- 12:08Speaker 5: What's a milf?
- 12:09Speaker 2: What's a what's a melf?
- 12:11Speaker 5: Mobe? Well, it stands for a mother that I would
- 12:15Speaker 5: like to be friends with?
- 12:17Speaker 9: Oh what it is?
- 12:20Speaker 3: Often wondered?
- 12:21Speaker 2: I mean, I look at the videos and stuff, but
- 12:23Speaker 2: I never know what the melf is.
- 12:25Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 12:28Speaker 5: Tune in on radio.
- 12:31Speaker 2: You two there on the radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 12:34Speaker 2: Monday afternoon. The time is four forty seven and fills
- 12:38Speaker 2: with this horrendous weather that we've been having around the country.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Gives you plenty of time to sit inside your lounge here,
- 12:46Speaker 2: get cozy and watch a bit of TV. Let's talk TV,
- 12:49Speaker 2: shall we?
- 12:52Speaker 8: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue?
- 13:03Speaker 5: Come on, fellas, do we get rid of that?
- 13:21Speaker 3: What?
- 13:21Speaker 5: Just an idea? Do we get rid of that? But
- 13:22Speaker 5: at the stuff we will go?
- 13:24Speaker 2: Yeah, well, you know the Boss has been saying that,
- 13:26Speaker 2: you know, we're a fresh look at stuff and you
- 13:29Speaker 2: maybe it's time to ditch a few things. Maybe it's
- 13:32Speaker 2: time to bring some new stuff. And but I love
- 13:34Speaker 2: that part.
- 13:35Speaker 5: That's the best part. We did a live show. Everybody
- 13:37Speaker 5: does it along with us. They get it, that's the thing.
- 13:40Speaker 5: They get it. Yeah, okay, maybe get it. The live
- 13:44Speaker 5: shows are the bosses at the live shows, he'd see, man.
- 13:46Speaker 3: People love it.
- 13:48Speaker 5: They get it.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Also, the Boss hasn't said specifically get rid of that part.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Oh you are, yeah right, you've got some crazy ideas.
- 13:57Speaker 5: Guilty. Hey, fellas, I've got one of those Samsung televisions
- 14:02Speaker 5: and they come for some reason with their own whole
- 14:05Speaker 5: lot of channels. Oh, Samsung TV is on television seat,
- 14:08Speaker 5: it's got Samsung TV on it.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Don't tell me that they've got safety features as well.
- 14:12Speaker 5: Well, they've got twenty four I haven't found any yet,
- 14:16Speaker 5: but they've got twenty four to seven. At the moment.
- 14:19Speaker 5: Thirty Rock is one of the channels. It's just twenty
- 14:21Speaker 5: four to seven thirty Rock, and another one is twenty
- 14:23Speaker 5: four to seven Come Dine with Me, which I absolutely
- 14:27Speaker 5: loved around now one fifteen years ago. It's out of
- 14:32Speaker 5: the UK and it's five. As a rule, it's fight.
- 14:35Speaker 5: The version I like, okay, is five strangers cooking dinner
- 14:40Speaker 5: for each other on consecutive nights. Who Ever gets the
- 14:44Speaker 5: best score wins. You have to do an entree, a
- 14:46Speaker 5: maine and dessert, and then you give a score and
- 14:49Speaker 5: they throw together. Are pretty you know, you can imagine
- 14:51Speaker 5: the sorts of people that sort of join their things.
- 14:53Speaker 5: You win one thousand pounds, so in New Zealand that's
- 14:56Speaker 5: one thousand dollars so then they've got the worst prizes.
- 14:59Speaker 5: Such those UK game shows are so bad, like the Chase, well,
- 15:03Speaker 5: there's so many of them. They love the Chase. It's
- 15:05Speaker 5: like you can win six grand like.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Yay, between four.
- 15:09Speaker 5: Of you exactly. But this thing is bloody hilarious. And
- 15:12Speaker 5: the reason why it's hilarious is one because the people
- 15:15Speaker 5: they have on it. But that would mean nothing if
- 15:17Speaker 5: it wasn't for the narrator Dave Lamb, who mocks every
- 15:21Speaker 5: single person on it. It's not super super mean, but
- 15:24Speaker 5: it's just mean enough to really really tickle my undercaracter there.
- 15:29Speaker 5: I absolutely love it. If you can find it anywhere,
- 15:31Speaker 5: do it. I imagine there's a thousand episodes on YouTube.
- 15:34Speaker 5: It is it is five Busies. Wow, wow, five Busy.
- 15:41Speaker 5: I really love it.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Yes, I remember watching that quite a lot.
- 15:44Speaker 3: It does come under this sort of type of television
- 15:46Speaker 3: show where you've learned nothing, yes, but you've been entertained
- 15:49Speaker 3: for an hour, fully entertained.
- 15:51Speaker 6: Now.
- 15:51Speaker 5: It's not Five Busies as compared to The Sopranos or
- 15:54Speaker 5: anything like that, but for what it is that brand
- 15:56Speaker 5: of cheap reality TV. I have just been sitting there
- 16:01Speaker 5: watching it for like two or three hours over the holidays.
- 16:04Speaker 5: I did that and it was great.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Sounds like the sort of shape perfect for you and
- 16:07Speaker 2: your wife Keezy.
- 16:08Speaker 3: One hundred percent. In fact, I think she does quite
- 16:11Speaker 3: enjoy that show. But I've tried to put a stop
- 16:13Speaker 3: to the amount of just like these kinds of shows
- 16:15Speaker 3: that we werena. Yeah it was.
- 16:18Speaker 2: We went on to get into some more saucy stuff maybe.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Kind of percent. Man went onto the tv NS plus
- 16:23Speaker 3: app the other day, tried to fire up Grand Designs
- 16:25Speaker 3: to find that we'd watched every single episode.
- 16:27Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 16:27Speaker 3: That's embarrassing, it is. And I was just like, what
- 16:29Speaker 3: are we doing with our lives watching just the stuff?
- 16:32Speaker 3: Where's the good stuff?
- 16:33Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 16:34Speaker 2: Man?
- 16:34Speaker 3: And then we watched the amazing raceh Okay, Yeah.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Did you have one of those situations yesterday where my
- 16:43Speaker 2: wife had gone to rehearsal was pessing with Rain. I
- 16:47Speaker 2: was just flicking through the television going, I don't know,
- 16:50Speaker 2: I don't know, man, And so I've got a theory. Now.
- 16:53Speaker 2: I go back onto the all the old movies that
- 16:56Speaker 2: were really good in their day, and I just rewatched
- 16:59Speaker 2: one of those yesterday. I watched Schindler's List. Wow, I've
- 17:02Speaker 2: never seen that good movie, good movie, good, solid, great
- 17:06Speaker 2: performance Lim Neeson of course, very very good. And that
- 17:10Speaker 2: Ben Kingsley a very sad story but also very inspiring story.
- 17:15Speaker 2: I'll give it a solid three point five buzzies.
- 17:17Speaker 5: My wife would like, we're a hard marker man, what
- 17:21Speaker 5: is what is that? Skins three and a half.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Three point seven? Then no, there's some pretty full on
- 17:30Speaker 2: stuff in it. Easy, and I've only watched it once.
- 17:33Speaker 3: It wasn't enough, right, okay, So just confirming come down
- 17:35Speaker 3: with me five busies out of five where you can
- 17:37Speaker 3: give it Shindler's List three point seven.
- 17:43Speaker 2: A Tenacious D to finish off the hour founds, why not.
- 17:47Speaker 1: The Hurdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio.

- 18:08Speaker 2: actually to auction, to auction. Yeah, well you know I'm
- 18:12Speaker 2: not gonna give it away.
- 18:13Speaker 5: Don't give it away.
- 18:14Speaker 2: I mean, you know, I want people to pay me
- 18:16Speaker 2: for it.
- 18:16Speaker 3: So using our radio show to sell off your old
- 18:18Speaker 3: stuff pretty much here smart Yeah, makes sense. Also, I've

- 19:50Speaker 2: left in one box and I can't steal that, and
- 19:52Speaker 2: it's a flavor I don't actually like. We also have
- 19:55Speaker 2: a scenario of lots of other boxes of chips but unopened,
- 20:00Speaker 2: so it's one of those. Mogi did suggest to me
- 20:02Speaker 2: that I do it from underneath, and that way they'll
- 20:07Speaker 2: never know.
- 20:08Speaker 3: That's right, you're talking about the ACC and their stash
- 20:10Speaker 3: of chips that are for prizes you steal on a
- 20:12Speaker 3: daily basis.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Yeah, pretty much.
- 20:15Speaker 5: Hey, Pugs, good to have you in the studio though, Man,
- 20:16Speaker 5: thanks for that.
- 20:17Speaker 3: It's Pugs.
- 20:21Speaker 5: Thanks fellas.
- 20:22Speaker 2: You guys are in a bit of a sting war
- 20:23Speaker 2: at the moment, a sting war.
- 20:26Speaker 5: What do you mean?
- 20:27Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 20:28Speaker 5: He doesn't realize it was made by Pugs. Pugs made that.

- 21:01Speaker 2: Big Show this Monday evening.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Oh hey, Feiler's Friday Night. Anyone listening will remember that
- 21:11Speaker 3: I went on a bit of a hot date date night,
- 21:14Speaker 3: yeah man, with my wife. There was a lot of
- 21:18Speaker 3: speculation as to who I was going with. I can
- 21:20Speaker 3: confirm it as my wife of three years. And went
- 21:25Speaker 3: to a lovely restaurant, lovely Italian restaurant here in Auckland,
- 21:28Speaker 3: very pricey, very pricey.
- 21:30Speaker 5: But you had a gift certificate, you had a voucher,
- 21:33Speaker 5: you didn't have a gift certificate. Do you go in
- 21:36Speaker 5: there with it? And you sort of go, Hi, I've
- 21:39Speaker 5: got a gift. Don't give it to you now or later?
- 21:44Speaker 3: I walk in, yes, and I say, hey, just so
- 21:47Speaker 3: you know, I've got coupons?
- 21:48Speaker 5: Yes?
- 21:49Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 21:49Speaker 5: Good?
- 21:49Speaker 2: Can I ask before you kick off the sexy date Keezy,
- 21:55Speaker 2: did you go as keesy because you were there was
- 21:57Speaker 2: there was a thought of going as different p and
- 22:00Speaker 2: pretending like you're just meeting up for the first time.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Yeah, but a role playing No, I ran it by
- 22:04Speaker 3: my wife.
- 22:04Speaker 5: She is like, Nah, don't be bothered. Now, it's just
- 22:07Speaker 5: goes us. Let's get it done, get over and down.
- 22:09Speaker 2: And she said, let's just spin the coupon.
- 22:11Speaker 5: What what are you wearing?
- 22:13Speaker 3: By the way, So I'm wearing shorts and a button
- 22:18Speaker 3: up shirt, blue and white short.
- 22:20Speaker 5: Fancy.
- 22:22Speaker 3: It's a big call.
- 22:23Speaker 5: Well, I'm not trying to dress to be to impress
- 22:26Speaker 5: because you're already married.
- 22:26Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:27Speaker 3: Yeah, we're trying to dress to impress. But I'm not
- 22:30Speaker 3: trying to dress to be fancy. This is just the
- 22:31Speaker 3: clothes I wear when I go out for dinner.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Your bony ass legs as well.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Sorry I have bony legs, but anyway, No, that's drilled
- 22:40Speaker 3: down on there.
- 22:42Speaker 5: Okay, But we had a two hundred and forty dollars
- 22:45Speaker 5: about you, right, and twenty backs each because you got
- 22:50Speaker 5: this from a caple. Because you're in as a as
- 22:53Speaker 5: a Carol, they've given you this gift certificate. That's right,
- 22:56Speaker 5: that's essentially one hundred and twenty dollars each. Exactly.
- 22:59Speaker 3: It's not a gift certificate, it's a voucher. Something weird
- 23:02Speaker 3: about the word gift certificate. Two hundred and forty bucks. Right,
- 23:06Speaker 3: So we order an entree, a barata.
- 23:09Speaker 5: Cheese, Yeah, a little bit of cheese, zip bread.
- 23:13Speaker 3: A Caraffe of County, which is a Tuscan red right.
- 23:18Speaker 5: Okay, wife gets a prosecco with the order to celebrate,
- 23:23Speaker 5: to celebrate, no champagne. But you know, a couple of
- 23:25Speaker 5: bubbles and they'relways live.
- 23:26Speaker 2: And especially when there's no chat going on, it's awkward.
- 23:29Speaker 5: Yeah, Jesus short, the splinty little legs, Chase.
- 23:37Speaker 3: You can't make fun of me having sadly little legs. Man,
- 23:40Speaker 3: come on, you've literally got the smallest legs I've ever seen.
- 23:44Speaker 5: In the world.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Anyway, within order our mains, which is like a delicious pasta.
- 23:50Speaker 3: By the way, Jase recommended I get a pasta from
- 23:52Speaker 3: this place because it's one of his favorite restaurants.
- 23:54Speaker 5: Forty eight dollars. Yeah, did you get it? No, it's
- 23:57Speaker 5: like Jason, you see what I'm saying. Yes, here's a
- 24:01Speaker 5: guy I walks into a restaurant. He's a king of
- 24:03Speaker 5: the world. He's got a gift certificate in his back pocket.
- 24:06Speaker 5: My shorts don't have a back pocket. If you're ever
- 24:09Speaker 5: going to have a forty eight dollars pasta. Is now
- 24:12Speaker 5: not the time to have it when you're up to
- 24:14Speaker 5: your eyeballs and gift certificate. I was cooped up, coopon up.
- 24:22Speaker 5: You know that's the time to have it when you'd
- 24:24Speaker 5: never buy it, you never spend your own money on it.
- 24:26Speaker 5: Let's flab bag, it will splash out.
- 24:28Speaker 3: But it wasn't like it was a seafood pasta, right,
- 24:30Speaker 3: and I'm not into it.
- 24:32Speaker 5: Not a seafood No. I agree, you don't like food.
- 24:34Speaker 5: And I was like, oh, do you want to get that?
- 24:36Speaker 5: Pat Jason?
- 24:37Speaker 3: It's really nice and she said, wow, forty eight dollars,
- 24:39Speaker 3: he must be rich.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Scampy it was, it's a scampy pasta magie. Just to clarify, well,
- 24:45Speaker 2: I don't pay. Why not because they just like me
- 24:48Speaker 2: being in the restaurant. Because I'm a top radio DJ.
- 24:51Speaker 2: It's got business to see people like me.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Cleibs Keezy. Yeah, I dined for free there.
- 24:58Speaker 5: I got a maine.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:59Speaker 5: I was like, lamb, I got a pasta. We then
- 25:02Speaker 5: got it.
- 25:02Speaker 3: We took our time, chose a dessert, right, We chose
- 25:06Speaker 3: the like Terramassoui type thing, and then took our us
- 25:10Speaker 3: with the bill went up to the main counter.
- 25:13Speaker 5: It was very filling, very filling. Thank you. Yeah, did
- 25:16Speaker 5: you have to under the belt on your short na
- 25:19Speaker 5: It has a draw string.
- 25:29Speaker 9: Boy, Long story short.
- 25:34Speaker 3: We got up to the counter and it was exactly
- 25:38Speaker 3: two hundred and forty dollars wow on the dot. And
- 25:41Speaker 3: the guy was like, oh, and I was like, we've
- 25:43Speaker 3: got to turn a forty dolls voucher. He's like, okay,
- 25:44Speaker 3: it's turning forty dollars on the nose. And then I
- 25:46Speaker 3: was like, it's not intentional. We did not try.
- 25:48Speaker 5: And he's like sure, man, all right, have a nice night.
- 25:52Speaker 5: And then and he made us feel.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Terrible eezy around me because the guy said to him,
- 25:57Speaker 2: he said he had the audacity to ask for a tet.
- 26:00Speaker 2: It was like not in nelly mate. Then he squeezed
- 26:03Speaker 2: at his drawstring and pulled his pants type.
- 26:07Speaker 5: Yeah that's what eppened. Anyway, it was a good day. Yeah,
- 26:10Speaker 5: it's good.
- 26:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:11Speaker 5: That's interesting, isn't it Because from their point of view,
- 26:15Speaker 5: the money they've already had that income like months ago. Yes,
- 26:18Speaker 5: so it feels like they've actually lost money. Yeah, yeah,
- 26:20Speaker 5: you got it. So it's good not to flag the
- 26:22Speaker 5: gift certificate up front. Yeah, because they might give you
- 26:24Speaker 5: a worse food or worse service. Smart. It's not your
- 26:27Speaker 5: first free meal, is it.
- 26:30Speaker 3: But I was ready to pay, like I I've got
- 26:31Speaker 3: my wallet out of the side pocket of my cargo shorts.
- 26:37Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune
- 26:40Speaker 1: in on.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Radio Indeed food fighters there on the radio Hodarchy Big
- 26:46Speaker 2: Show this Monday afternoon. Now fellows, this is the last
- 26:51Speaker 2: week for old hoodie j and the house he's been
- 26:54Speaker 2: living in for over twenty six years.
- 26:56Speaker 7: Wow.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Additional, you moved in when you were twelve.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, I did a milk run as a young
- 27:03Speaker 2: fella and.
- 27:04Speaker 5: Got a deposit together, and got the.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Deposit together and invested wisely. Keasy, no flash restaurants with
- 27:11Speaker 2: little shorts for me. And I'll tell you what as
- 27:15Speaker 2: previously mentioned. You know, there's a lot of stuff you
- 27:17Speaker 2: build up over twenty six years.
- 27:19Speaker 5: That's true.
- 27:19Speaker 2: There's a lot of shit.
- 27:21Speaker 5: Resentment, Oh yeah, I.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Mean certainly there's some resentments here, certainly, And there were
- 27:26Speaker 2: some unveiling of things I'd rather weren't unveiled, you know
- 27:29Speaker 2: what I mean. So, yeah, secret stashes and stuff. Really
- 27:34Speaker 2: those geckos, Yeah, yeah, the dead geckos under the rug
- 27:38Speaker 2: there the skinks got that was nus. But we've actually
- 27:42Speaker 2: ended up with heaps of stuff. And my wife and
- 27:43Speaker 2: I o in that really strange position of do we
- 27:46Speaker 2: just biff this or put it on trade me and
- 27:49Speaker 2: I thought, we'll hang on. I don't want to just
- 27:50Speaker 2: throw all this stuff away because it's good stuff. And
- 27:53Speaker 2: as Keysy was saying the other day, he's got these
- 27:55Speaker 2: old pair of crutches, they might be of use to people, right,
- 27:59Speaker 2: And so I thought, why don't I go on here
- 28:02Speaker 2: and make the offer to the people, and and there
- 28:04Speaker 2: might be people on three four eight three that are interested.
- 28:07Speaker 3: What's some of the stuff you've got? Why don't you
- 28:09Speaker 3: hit us for some of your stuff?
- 28:10Speaker 2: Well, I've got a half a bottle of shampoo and conditioner.
- 28:14Speaker 5: What brand?
- 28:17Speaker 2: It's a good brand. I just got Johnson and Johnson Johnson,
- 28:21Speaker 2: they're one of the big ones. Mate.
- 28:23Speaker 3: If it was panting pro v, I would have taken
- 28:25Speaker 3: it off here Johnson.
- 28:26Speaker 2: And there's a good half bottle there, there's a good
- 28:30Speaker 2: half bottle.
- 28:31Speaker 5: Why do you take that with you to the apartment?
- 28:33Speaker 2: Because we've moved, we're in a city now, so we've
- 28:35Speaker 2: changed our brand.
- 28:38Speaker 5: Of course, are you.
- 28:40Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:40Speaker 3: Yeah, because you've moved into the city, you've changed from
- 28:44Speaker 3: Johnson and Johnson wats cough.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Yeah, we've got to leave that behind.
- 28:50Speaker 5: Now, what do you use, mogi? I don't use anything,
- 28:53Speaker 5: none at all. No, it's just all natural, man, really,
- 28:56Speaker 5: it's all just natural stuff, just a bit of what
- 28:59Speaker 5: do you call that bars?
- 29:00Speaker 2: So oh yeah, good stuff. A few pubes in there,
- 29:03Speaker 2: thirty bucks or near offer, oh yeah, bottle of shampoo
- 29:07Speaker 2: and conditional.
- 29:08Speaker 5: Well that's now that sounds pricey, but it has seen
- 29:12Speaker 5: you naked.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Thank you on that front. Actually having seen me naked.
- 29:17Speaker 2: I've got a black dilly hardly used eighty bucks o.
- 29:24Speaker 5: O ah or near offer.
- 29:27Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:28Speaker 5: Well the good thing.
- 29:29Speaker 3: About that is you can say, one careful old man owner.
- 29:32Speaker 2: That's right, really used not completely new spelling.
- 29:37Speaker 3: How are you spelling? Really like ari e A l
- 29:40Speaker 3: l y r A r e l y that's an
- 29:46Speaker 3: important you know.
- 29:47Speaker 5: I probably need to wash though, because you have your
- 29:49Speaker 5: saliva all over it, wouldn't you.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Actual Big Show with Mike and Tune in week days
- 29:59Speaker 1: and four on Radio Hold.

- 30:10Speaker 3: This is breaking news, fellas, red hot news stories just
- 30:15Speaker 3: come across my desk.
- 30:18Speaker 5: And the people in New Zealand need to know about it.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Okay, are you familiar with Geraldine? Yes, Geraldine Brothy, Geraldine. No,
- 30:27Speaker 3: it's a it's a town.
- 30:29Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, did you think it.
- 30:31Speaker 5: Was Geraldine Brothy?
- 30:32Speaker 6: Yes?
- 30:32Speaker 3: I did.
- 30:34Speaker 5: No.
- 30:34Speaker 3: No, So the town in the South Island, near christ
- 30:36Speaker 3: Church there in Canterbury. Oh yeah, that's where Barker's gems
- 30:41Speaker 3: come from.
- 30:42Speaker 5: Oh what a great way to market. Yeah sure, I
- 30:45Speaker 5: wasn't entirely sure before, but now yeah, like the Cordo,
- 30:49Speaker 5: the marmalades and that.
- 30:50Speaker 2: They do some neat stuff down on the South Island.
- 30:53Speaker 5: They really do.
- 30:54Speaker 2: It's very cottage.
- 30:55Speaker 5: They do the old the lids on the jar there
- 30:58Speaker 5: with the rubber band around the top of the little
- 31:00Speaker 5: I'm very cute.
- 31:01Speaker 2: That's so quaint.
- 31:03Speaker 3: Yes, so Geraldine. No, the town, you idiot. So there
- 31:12Speaker 3: was a there was a truck crash there, guys. So
- 31:14Speaker 3: it'snow laughing matter. There's a truck crash Eliot today State
- 31:18Speaker 3: Highway one on who she's fine, Okay, she was driving
- 31:30Speaker 3: the truck.
- 31:32Speaker 5: And she's fine. She's fine, but it was.
- 31:35Speaker 3: On a Rundell Bellfield Road, a Rundle belf a Rundell
- 31:40Speaker 3: Bellfield Road, which is the name of the road by
- 31:42Speaker 3: Gerald where Barker's Gem comes from. The truck was carrying
- 31:47Speaker 3: portaloos tipped over and I quote hundreds of liters of
- 31:51Speaker 3: human portoloo waste has fouled up a main South Island
- 31:54Speaker 3: road to just poos.
- 31:56Speaker 5: Everywhere, and both of those that's not good. So yeah, just.
- 32:01Speaker 3: Anyone hitting that way. Three thousand leaders of human waste.
- 32:04Speaker 5: Three thousand leaders, it's a lot. So people just need
- 32:09Speaker 5: to be aware.
- 32:19Speaker 3: You guys, got any comments on that, or we're just
- 32:22Speaker 3: leaving the something about oh, you know, like three thousand leaders.
- 32:26Speaker 3: That's one keezy steamer or something like that.
- 32:28Speaker 2: I think this is this is a bit of a
- 32:32Speaker 2: a sign for the people of the South Island that
- 32:35Speaker 2: any time to get toilets installed in their houses.
- 32:39Speaker 5: Do they not have them now?
- 32:40Speaker 2: No, No, it's all portaloos down in the South Island.
- 32:43Speaker 5: Think there's been a little bit less time focusing on.
- 32:46Speaker 3: The gems and ship Yeah, the chutneys and the pickle Yeah, yeah,
- 32:53Speaker 3: I didn't know they didn't have toilets.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Down it's all portals.
- 32:57Speaker 5: Man, do that power down there? Are they?
- 33:00Speaker 7: Oh?
- 33:00Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean they're not completely backwards. Yeah, that's cool.
- 33:03Speaker 5: All run off. Jenny's Jenny Who.
- 33:14Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Hold Ike there on the Radio Hodnarkey Big Show this
- 33:21Speaker 2: Monday afternoon.
- 33:22Speaker 3: Hey, nobody heard that? No, that's good. Jason's moving to
- 33:29Speaker 3: the city, Mike. Yes, he's leaving his house that he's
- 33:32Speaker 3: lived in way out in west Auckland.
- 33:34Speaker 5: He's lived there for twenty.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Six years, twenty seven, twenty six, twenty six years, and
- 33:40Speaker 3: he's moving into an apartment in the CBD, which is
- 33:42Speaker 3: pretty exciting. Yes. Now, one of the things you've mentioned
- 33:44Speaker 3: is getting us.
- 33:45Speaker 5: To help you move. Yeah, how about how about this?
- 33:49Speaker 5: Check this shit out.
- 33:50Speaker 3: It's an idea I had over the weekend.
- 33:52Speaker 5: I'm pretending I know what it is. Yeah.
- 33:54Speaker 3: I called Mergi and told him about it. Why don't
- 33:58Speaker 3: we get the audience to help? Why don't we get
- 34:01Speaker 3: the listeners? Yes, because imagine like twenty listeners and twenty cars.
- 34:06Speaker 3: They would give out your home address. They're all lined
- 34:09Speaker 3: up right outside on the road, ready to go.
- 34:11Speaker 5: You pass two boxes to the first guy.
- 34:12Speaker 3: He's off next up as a lady give her a box,
- 34:15Speaker 3: she hones off to the and they all go to
- 34:18Speaker 3: your apartment and then the listeners help you move.
- 34:20Speaker 5: Do you like this sound of that? We could make
- 34:23Speaker 5: a chain of listeners that go all the way from
- 34:26Speaker 5: your house and we're the CD all the way to
- 34:29Speaker 5: your apartment and the CBDB and it's just passed the
- 34:32Speaker 5: box to the person and chain sort of thing. You see,
- 34:36Speaker 5: like people don't get tired. It means people don't get tired. Yeah,
- 34:40Speaker 5: But then look, I love that idea. I think that's great.
- 34:44Speaker 5: The couch scenario. The couches, that's a big pass along.
- 34:49Speaker 3: It's for Mogi's idea had side to side of here,
- 34:51Speaker 3: but like my idea with the different cars. Someone you know,
- 34:54Speaker 3: Tim's here, he's got his highluks.
- 34:56Speaker 5: Yes, I think for the furniture you would need, you know,
- 34:58Speaker 5: there'll be different lots of tat that you've got boxes.
- 35:01Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, I mean like once all the stuff is
- 35:07Speaker 3: at your new apartment, we could then do a live
- 35:09Speaker 3: show speakers invite the audience and get Reburger ordered in
- 35:13Speaker 3: and just have a wee bit of a housewarming for you.
- 35:15Speaker 5: What do you reckon?
- 35:17Speaker 2: Well, I actually have been contemplating the housewarming and getting
- 35:21Speaker 2: the Fellers over for it, you know, a bit of
- 35:22Speaker 2: a break in. I'm thinking of fond night. Oh yeah,
- 35:27Speaker 2: you know the old fond Do you have a fond
- 35:30Speaker 2: do s it?
- 35:31Speaker 6: No?
- 35:34Speaker 5: Hey, Magie.
- 35:34Speaker 3: Do you remember at the end of last year when
- 35:36Speaker 3: Jason invited us all to his mum's place? Do you
- 35:40Speaker 3: remember that? And then the last year I was giving
- 35:42Speaker 3: him ship because he was moving out of his house. Yes,
- 35:44Speaker 3: and he had never invited us around. And then he said,
- 35:47Speaker 3: well how about this we go up north to my
- 35:49Speaker 3: mum's place. Oh, and he was like, oh this week
- 35:55Speaker 3: and keep it free.
- 35:56Speaker 5: And then that came and went and nothing happened. Something happened.
- 35:59Speaker 5: I remember that.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Yeah, because you were busy, Keysy. That was Mogi.
- 36:03Speaker 3: No, he was here too, Yeah, I was doing nothing.
- 36:05Speaker 3: He's just watching Come dine with me. Just something to
- 36:08Speaker 3: think about, Jason.
- 36:09Speaker 5: Okay, it would be good. I think I think it
- 36:11Speaker 5: would be good to have the listeners know where you
- 36:13Speaker 5: live and where you're going to live.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Count me in feelers if it saves me.
- 36:19Speaker 3: Gosh, all right, well, do you just want to say
- 36:20Speaker 3: your address now and we'll all meet there?
- 36:23Speaker 5: Two two.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Slash eighty five.
- 36:30Speaker 3: Yeah, Honker Street.
- 36:34Speaker 1: CBD, the whole Ikee Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.

- 36:49Speaker 2: six o'clock, including I'll carry on with my auction, which
- 36:53Speaker 2: Mogi rudely interrupted previously.
- 36:56Speaker 3: Yeah, that's enjoyer stuff you're selling from your old house.
- 36:58Speaker 2: Yes, that's right mate. And also a bit of meat
- 37:01Speaker 2: Patty Knip Action where we give out some advice.

- 37:30Speaker 5: you could win that sucker.
- 37:35Speaker 1: The hold Chy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy
- 37:38Speaker 1: tune in weekdays at four on Radio hold Ikey, Welcome.

- 37:50Speaker 3: Beef, chicken, vegan and vegetarian options available. Reburger of Redefining
- 37:54Speaker 3: the norm.
- 37:58Speaker 4: Ah, what my heat, I was dreaming about Reburger.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 38:08Speaker 4: It was so crave worthy. But it was gormete and
- 38:13Speaker 4: it was straight food.
- 38:15Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Something's just occurred to me, Mogi. A little while back,
- 38:23Speaker 2: you purchased glasses.
- 38:24Speaker 5: Glasses, Yes, I did.
- 38:26Speaker 2: And you got the city. You know, we got to
- 38:28Speaker 2: see all the different ranges and stuff. What's occurred to
- 38:31Speaker 2: me is I've never seen you wear them.
- 38:33Speaker 5: No, that's right. I don't need them. I don't need
- 38:35Speaker 5: them for a computer screen or anything like that. The
- 38:39Speaker 5: only third time it's an issue, really is when I
- 38:42Speaker 5: wake up in the morning the eyes aren't quite working.
- 38:44Speaker 6: You.
- 38:44Speaker 5: I never get I didn't even know that you got
- 38:46Speaker 5: to the point where your eyes needed to warm up. Yes,
- 38:48Speaker 5: but that's what happens. But I just waked that out.
- 38:51Speaker 5: And then the only other time is reading in a
- 38:53Speaker 5: newspaper on a Sunday, or reading my book or reading
- 38:55Speaker 5: a book to my daughter. So those glasses my bed, okay.
- 38:59Speaker 5: And then other times my wife will han me her
- 39:02Speaker 5: phone and say this text me to just come from
- 39:04Speaker 5: blah blah, and I, without even turning my gaze towards her,
- 39:08Speaker 5: I just tilt my chin towards the ceiling and say,
- 39:11Speaker 5: read it. Yeah, I can't. I cannot see. I can't
- 39:15Speaker 5: read any of.
- 39:16Speaker 3: Her texts really, And she got it set to the
- 39:18Speaker 3: standard size absolutely, which is tiny.
- 39:20Speaker 5: What was interesting to me was how tiny it looked.
- 39:22Speaker 5: But that's what mine used to be tiny, and mine
- 39:25Speaker 5: looks massive.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, okay, well that makes sense.
- 39:31Speaker 5: Yeah, but geez, they're pretty fragile little bastards. I hardly
- 39:34Speaker 5: have touched them. But yeah, they're still there, incredibly. I
- 39:37Speaker 5: haven't lost them yet, and I haven't broken them yet.
- 39:40Speaker 3: Your eyes warm up in the morning too, and we
- 39:42Speaker 3: go play early morning golf, yes, he always, Well, sometimes
- 39:45Speaker 3: we'll stand at the first t and look down at
- 39:47Speaker 3: the ball and go, go, I can barely see the ball.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Yes, that's actually genuinely true. I'm very fuzzy in the morning.
- 39:53Speaker 2: I was like, what's that about?
- 39:54Speaker 5: Exactly right.
- 39:54Speaker 2: It's good to know that your eyes need to warm
- 39:56Speaker 2: up New Zealand.
- 39:58Speaker 1: The whole Key Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarky.
- 40:02Speaker 3: Blink one a two.
- 40:03Speaker 2: There on the radio ho Donkey Big Show this Monday evening. Now, fellas,
- 40:09Speaker 2: as I was saying earlier in the show, I'm moving house,
- 40:11Speaker 2: so I've got to get rid of some stuff, and
- 40:13Speaker 2: I thought, what a great opportunity, given that I'm doing
- 40:15Speaker 2: the radio show, to offer it to the punters out
- 40:18Speaker 2: there at just bargain prices.
- 40:20Speaker 3: So three four eight three. And also Pugs has made
- 40:23Speaker 3: some auction music. If you like that, Oh, how good?
- 40:29Speaker 5: It's good, Pugs.
- 40:31Speaker 3: That's good, man, turn that shit off?
- 40:34Speaker 5: What's wrong with that?
- 40:35Speaker 2: So at this point shampoo conditioner half a bottle thirty
- 40:39Speaker 2: dollars on their offer.
- 40:41Speaker 3: How about thirty bucks? Yeah, there was a Dilly.
- 40:43Speaker 2: Black dilly nine inch really used eighty five bucks. O.
- 40:49Speaker 5: Oh yeah, it seems steep.
- 40:52Speaker 2: It's pretty steep, but you know, right, I'm sure it's
- 40:57Speaker 2: going to work for someone out there, that's right. I
- 40:59Speaker 2: was doing some gardening over the weekend and I found
- 41:02Speaker 2: a pile of bricks.
- 41:04Speaker 3: One hundred bucks. Oh how many bricks? How many bricks?
- 41:10Speaker 2: About six or seven?
- 41:11Speaker 5: Have they clean or have I got to chep off
- 41:13Speaker 5: all the old deer?
- 41:14Speaker 6: Oh?
- 41:14Speaker 2: No, they covered and filth. They've got wheat because they've
- 41:16Speaker 2: been growing in the garden and they just some of
- 41:19Speaker 2: them are disintegrating a little bit. But you know they'll
- 41:21Speaker 2: do the job, right, Okay, I talk to you about
- 41:23Speaker 2: those later.
- 41:24Speaker 5: Yeah, they send their bricks. No, they're bricks, right, Okay,
- 41:27Speaker 5: what color are.
- 41:28Speaker 2: They kind of a tan color. But they've got mold
- 41:31Speaker 2: and stuff on them as well, and a few snails
- 41:33Speaker 2: and that kind of thing. A bit of filth, a
- 41:35Speaker 2: bit of mold.
- 41:36Speaker 5: Yeah, you can scrub that off though, right.
- 41:38Speaker 2: Oh, you could probably water spray them.
- 41:39Speaker 3: I wouldn't bother water spray.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 41:42Speaker 5: Chain saw, Oh that one that you couldn't start it.
- 41:46Speaker 5: Take a bit of Banning's and get that lady to
- 41:48Speaker 5: help you.
- 41:49Speaker 2: The very same.
- 41:50Speaker 3: Yeah, how much one for.
- 41:51Speaker 2: That eighty five? But you'll need to get a chain.
- 41:54Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 41:54Speaker 2: It doesn't have a chain to it, so it's just
- 41:57Speaker 2: a saw. It's just a saw essentially. Yeah, I saw
- 42:00Speaker 2: a bit of a squirre to CRC. Bob's your uncle
- 42:03Speaker 2: and a chain and it doesn't run and it doesn't run,
- 42:07Speaker 2: and I think there's something wrong with the fuel gauge
- 42:09Speaker 2: as well, because you know, I won't even start at
- 42:11Speaker 2: the moment, right, and there's no actual chain on the chain,
- 42:14Speaker 2: saw right?
- 42:15Speaker 5: Okay? Yeah? And how much is that one eighty bucks? Yeah?
- 42:17Speaker 2: Eighty eighty ninety off?
- 42:20Speaker 3: That's pretty good six swing.
- 42:23Speaker 2: The place we're moving to very high ceilings, Fellas, so
- 42:27Speaker 2: I don't know, I can't get a sex swing up there.
- 42:30Speaker 2: It's some bloody good nick a few stains, a few
- 42:35Speaker 2: marks when things got a bit vigorous and it was
- 42:38Speaker 2: swinging a bit too violently, But in terms of its functionality, tickety.
- 42:44Speaker 5: Boo, good to go. How much does a brand new
- 42:46Speaker 5: six wing goes?
- 42:47Speaker 2: Oh? Probably about five to six hundred wow? Yeah, yeah,
- 42:50Speaker 2: I'm prepared to let this one go four to five.
- 42:54Speaker 5: Hundy far that seems like a good deal. How long
- 42:56Speaker 5: have you had it.
- 42:57Speaker 2: Just strapping and have the time of your life?
- 42:59Speaker 3: Fells, that's expensive for a sex wing.
- 43:02Speaker 5: Well, the thing about it, Keezy is you've got to
- 43:03Speaker 5: look at what it saves you, and it sort of
- 43:06Speaker 5: takes all of the takes all the way down of
- 43:09Speaker 5: it strain. So yeah, that's right, You're it's just a
- 43:14Speaker 5: whole a whole lot of weirdly a load off, and
- 43:19Speaker 5: you'll find that you're able to do those more difficult
- 43:23Speaker 5: positions for a lot longer. So it is worth it, right, Okay,
- 43:27Speaker 5: So okay.
- 43:29Speaker 2: Especially if like in my scenario, you've got a bit
- 43:31Speaker 2: of hang down going on, you know what.
- 43:33Speaker 3: I mean, I mean what's hanging well.
- 43:35Speaker 2: Just things hanging down that maybe perhaps in the past
- 43:38Speaker 2: didn't right. Yeah, yeah, yes, Buzzies.
- 43:46Speaker 1: The Whole Archy Big Show with Mike and Kezy tune
- 43:49Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Hod.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Ike Wes are there on the Radio Darchy Big Show

- 43:59Speaker 2: Rugby League season, and with that in mind, the Big

- 44:18Speaker 3: Not sure who's this year be worth looking up, but

- 44:37Speaker 3: I ran into Andrew Weibster the other night.
- 44:39Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yeah, yeahs a mad dog.
- 44:41Speaker 3: We were coming out of the It was actually after
- 44:43Speaker 3: a hot date.
- 44:45Speaker 2: Okay.
- 44:45Speaker 3: We were parked in a downtown car park.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Your horny.
- 44:50Speaker 3: We were parked at a downtown car park and went
- 44:53Speaker 3: to go down some stairs and then this guy just
- 44:55Speaker 3: like bulldozed his way up without looking. I remember my
- 44:57Speaker 3: wife and I stopped and came back out of the stairs.
- 45:00Speaker 3: He went up, and then I was like, it's weird.
- 45:02Speaker 3: I was like good, like lead, shook my hand and
- 45:04Speaker 3: walked off. Meanwhile, his wife was waiting at the bottom
- 45:07Speaker 3: and was not looking too happy. And then after and
- 45:10Speaker 3: then I was like thanks for the next through, She's
- 45:12Speaker 3: it's all good. Then she walked off and I was like,
- 45:13Speaker 3: that's Andrew Webster. A Warrior's coach and then lu She's like, yeah,
- 45:16Speaker 3: he was massively steamed and his wife was not happy.
- 45:19Speaker 3: Really yeah, but I was like I was stoked because
- 45:21Speaker 3: it was like who doesn't go to the pub gets
- 45:23Speaker 3: steamed and then the wife's a wee bit grumpy. You know,
- 45:25Speaker 3: it's just how it goes. It goes, it goes.
- 45:27Speaker 5: It's funny.
- 45:28Speaker 3: That's how you know me.
- 45:29Speaker 5: He's a real backbone. I thought he was a back
- 45:31Speaker 5: backbone ship right there, Jase, I don't do that. No,
- 45:34Speaker 5: that's the thing that's the problem with you there. Yeah,
- 45:37Speaker 5: you don't have a backbone.
- 45:40Speaker 3: But yeah, I think based on that interaction, it's going
- 45:42Speaker 3: to be a great season for the Wis.
- 45:43Speaker 5: It feels good to me, man.
- 45:44Speaker 2: And I think I'm correct in saying, fellows, they're playing
- 45:48Speaker 2: the Broncos this year, the Warriors and the Magic Round,
- 45:51Speaker 2: am I right?
- 45:51Speaker 4: In?
- 45:54Speaker 5: Very good from you. Well, the thing about Magic Ground
- 45:57Speaker 5: is you sort of know where you're sitting by the end,
- 45:59Speaker 5: don't you.
- 45:59Speaker 3: Keeazy.
- 46:00Speaker 5: Season's been going along well enough, so it could be
- 46:01Speaker 5: a really good thing, James, for it could be a
- 46:03Speaker 5: really bad thing. Either way, we'll have a ripro of
- 46:06Speaker 5: a time.
- 46:06Speaker 3: Having said that though two years ago when we went
- 46:09Speaker 3: and the Warriors weren't going very well at all, and
- 46:10Speaker 3: then they took on the Panthers on the seaside and
- 46:12Speaker 3: beat them.
- 46:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I would say the Seaside.
- 46:17Speaker 5: The Seaside, seaside.
- 46:20Speaker 3: Yeah, it's gonna be great, boys, Trip dot co dotz.
- 46:22Speaker 3: Get your tickets now and we'll see you over there.

- 47:21Speaker 5: And that's where you lads come in. Just check GPT
- 47:24Speaker 5: it if you can't work it it.
- 47:27Speaker 3: It's not that the forbidden Kiwi skewer a true New
- 47:33Speaker 3: Zealand delicacy enjoyed by many for many hundreds of years
- 47:36Speaker 3: before we all came to be. It must be good
- 47:38Speaker 3: eating for it to almost be driven to the point
- 47:42Speaker 3: of extinction.
- 47:43Speaker 5: The kiwi kiwi Yeah okay, I thought he was doing
- 47:48Speaker 5: about the good or New Zealand skeer is a thing,
- 47:51Speaker 5: you know, like a hot dog? Yeah, yes, yes, like
- 47:53Speaker 5: a And I was going to say no, I.
- 47:55Speaker 2: Must admit the last time I went to the zoo
- 47:56Speaker 2: and I went into the Kiwi house, I was watching
- 47:59Speaker 2: them hopping around there, thinking I reckon they would have
- 48:01Speaker 2: been pretty good eating back in the day.
- 48:05Speaker 5: I've never been to a Kiwi house and seen a kiwi.
- 48:08Speaker 5: I've seen a complete darkness, yes, possibly the shape of
- 48:14Speaker 5: a tree or a booshe and that's it. I've been
- 48:17Speaker 5: ripped off every single time. There are no kiwi's in
- 48:19Speaker 5: the Kiwi houses.
- 48:21Speaker 2: Generally speaking, that's what happens in the kiwi house, and
- 48:25Speaker 2: there's sort of light in the enclosure, there's no kiwis.
- 48:29Speaker 5: No, that's right, top dollar you pay for that.
- 48:31Speaker 3: You just finished the rest of this question.
- 48:32Speaker 5: Yes, well, I think that's more important.
- 48:34Speaker 3: I know old Moggi and Janis have experienced eating the
- 48:38Speaker 3: ever tender kid, but I crow a crave more forbidden flavors.
- 48:42Speaker 3: Fellas is, how am I supposed to get myself in
- 48:44Speaker 3: a position where I'm actually hanging off the back of
- 48:46Speaker 3: a kiwi dog? Because when you think about it, you've
- 48:50Speaker 3: got their long beak. If you just grabbed that beak
- 48:52Speaker 3: and just dipped it into the deep fry, yes, and
- 48:54Speaker 3: then pulled it out, it's kind of.
- 48:55Speaker 2: On a skill or easy easy?
- 48:58Speaker 3: What do you mean you see? I would never do
- 49:00Speaker 3: it responsibly.
- 49:01Speaker 2: You know, when we're talking animals, we're got to be careful.
- 49:05Speaker 5: About this sort of stuff, don't you get a lot?
- 49:07Speaker 2: Back in the day, of course, if you if you're
- 49:09Speaker 2: a bushman, you lived in the bush, and you're a man,
- 49:12Speaker 2: you're a hunter and gatherer. I'm talking way way way
- 49:16Speaker 2: back in the day. It was all g I imagined
- 49:20Speaker 2: at different times. I don't know, you know that in
- 49:23Speaker 2: this day and age, putting a kiwi on a skewer
- 49:26Speaker 2: is going to go down too well.
- 49:28Speaker 5: Very good eating back in the day, though, of course.
- 49:30Speaker 5: I mean you know those those pioneers, those ground breakers
- 49:35Speaker 5: back then, Jason. They often just lopped their heads off,
- 49:39Speaker 5: wipe the ass and slap it on a plate.
- 49:40Speaker 3: That was it.
- 49:41Speaker 5: Yeah, you'd be ripping into it, nice fat bastard.
- 49:47Speaker 2: Ye the like they're like a big, massive meat ball.
- 49:51Speaker 2: They're like a meat the bar with a big pokey
- 49:53Speaker 2: be You wouldn't eat the beak obviously, or the feet.
- 49:57Speaker 5: I wouldn't.
- 49:58Speaker 2: I wouldn't imagine there's much fat on the feet.
- 50:00Speaker 5: No, you can deep fry them, yes, and use.
- 50:03Speaker 3: The beak as a toothpick to get the kiwi from
- 50:05Speaker 3: out between your teeth. But I guess you can't do it.
- 50:09Speaker 5: He's allowed.
- 50:09Speaker 3: No, is that true?
- 50:10Speaker 5: What about if you run one over then you can
- 50:13Speaker 5: eat it, because there must be a certain element of roadkill,
- 50:16Speaker 5: because it seems a waste of meat to me if
- 50:18Speaker 5: you run one over and then what not let her
- 50:21Speaker 5: eat it? Yeah?
- 50:22Speaker 2: I survived on roadkill for a year and a half once. Yes,
- 50:27Speaker 2: any kiwi no kiwi weirdly enough?
- 50:32Speaker 5: Well, I hope that helps use your car. Yeah, I
- 50:34Speaker 5: mean I just start driving around in your Coramandel's and
- 50:37Speaker 5: your up your deep sours of your up nor house
- 50:41Speaker 5: Kiwi house. If you can get it here, you won't
- 50:42Speaker 5: get any keywis in there though? Will you ram raid
- 50:44Speaker 5: the Kewi House?
- 50:46Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Darkey.
- 50:57Speaker 2: Well then you go your mad. That's the Monday show
- 51:01Speaker 2: done and dusted. In the podcast outro today, wouldn't have
- 51:04Speaker 2: a clue. What's the clip we've got?
- 51:06Speaker 3: The cheasy Today's podcast outro clip is called quality podcasting.
- 51:12Speaker 3: There it is.
- 51:15Speaker 2: I'm standing in the bedroom in the Undies and I
- 51:19Speaker 2: hear my wife go when did we wait?
- 51:25Speaker 5: What she did? She tries not to look after the
- 51:30Speaker 5: podcast awards.
- 51:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's true, that's what she does. She turns away
- 51:43Speaker 2: when I get out of bed.
- 51:45Speaker 5: Whereas it's an interesting thought, isn't it, Jason? What's you
- 51:56Speaker 5: think about it?
- 51:56Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 51:57Speaker 5: Well, because you think to yourself there. You think a
- 52:00Speaker 5: lot of people they talk about getting older and they say,
- 52:04Speaker 5: I don't feel old. I feel like I'm twenty one, yes,
- 52:07Speaker 5: But when I see myself in the mirror, I'm not
- 52:09Speaker 5: twenty one. I'm seventy or eighty or whatever it might
- 52:12Speaker 5: be so. Then the interesting thing becomes that you are
- 52:16Speaker 5: Then you're married and your partner is now really old.
- 52:20Speaker 5: But when you were young you went attracted to somebody
- 52:22Speaker 5: that was eighty Well, no, because.
- 52:26Speaker 2: I heard you know I back in the day I
- 52:31Speaker 2: was pretty open minded.
- 52:33Speaker 5: And did you share a grannie.
- 52:37Speaker 3: Keezy? Come on man? Yes?
- 52:40Speaker 5: Yeah? What are you doing tonight? Moogie? What am I
- 52:45Speaker 5: doing tonight? I'm gonna get a bit of food in me.
- 52:47Speaker 5: I'm going to try and watch a movie. I've got
- 52:49Speaker 5: a TV show that I want to finish off tonight.
- 52:51Speaker 5: I haven't told you guys about it right as I
- 52:53Speaker 5: want to wait till the end. Sure, don't want to
- 52:55Speaker 5: get your hopes up and then it's not good at
- 52:57Speaker 5: the end. You see what I'm saying. Yeah, I'm I'm
- 53:00Speaker 5: going great guns at the moment, man, I'm enjoying these
- 53:02Speaker 5: late evenings. Yes, good, getting to be early. I'm waking
- 53:05Speaker 5: up by old mate next door that fn twoy, But
- 53:08Speaker 5: even that can't keep me down at the moment. Ye,
- 53:11Speaker 5: tacos and a walk. What are you doing like Jason?
- 53:15Speaker 2: Probably packing some more crap up, eating dinner. I think
- 53:21Speaker 2: actually I might Oh no, not canceled.
- 53:25Speaker 5: We see them at four
