- 0:13Good morning, good morning, good morning. Welcome, welcome, welk.
- 0:14I mean it is time now for car talk right here on Key one,
- 0:18the one you trust. Brad Dungeons and a company. We had Brad Dungeons
- 0:22and family. That's right. Last week, that was great. We had
- 0:25a lot of fun. Last week. We had my uncle Joe and Uncle
- 0:28Bob on and yeah, I had some memories. It's great to celebrate our
- 0:32eighty third anniversary in Bartlesville. Last month, it was a very busy month
- 0:36at the dealer. Shied a lot of stuff going on. We rolled out
- 0:39new technology that we used to kind of work with our customers. New websites
- 0:46had sold lots of vehicles and Tyler was there doing it. Hey Tyler say
- 0:51hello, hello, Hello. Yeah. The new system was great. I
- 0:53made it really easy to answer the question. Specifically, you have to be
- 0:57able to trans it was a smooth transition over and be able to help the
- 1:00customers out and a lot less double entry of customer information and stuff. Is
- 1:04fascinating how that works. I mean, if you think about it, and
- 1:07I know people have experienced this, you know, if the salesman asks you
- 1:11something or you do all this research online, the salesman has to kind of
- 1:15catch up with that and then you know, and then the process keeps kind
- 1:19of starting over as you buy your car, if you know, we try
- 1:23to eliminate that, oh yeah, and keep it seamless. And you know,
- 1:26so having this new technology allows it to everything to kind of integrate because
- 1:32it all starts with your information and then it will go to the bank,
- 1:36go all the way through to reporting the car deal sale to the manufacturer.
- 1:40And it's really really cool, it is. And it's nice when you don't
- 1:42waste their time because you know, when you're buying a court it's already stressful
- 1:47enough. So when you're able to go straight and straight to the questions they're
- 1:49asking and help them out and in and out. I mean, time is
- 1:53money and time is valuable. So you want to make sure that we definitely
- 1:57want to make sure that we're taking care of people's time and money and you
- 2:00know, give them the best service and customer experience. They deserve good stuff.
- 2:04And add new websites I mentioned, We just launched those at the end
- 2:07of the month and and so go check those out there. They're quick and
- 2:10responsive, they're great on your cell phone or or on your desktop computer,
- 2:15and there's more coming there. We're still we're still getting there and personalizing them
- 2:17a bit more. But we've been working on those and getting them set up,
- 2:22and they're they're going to be great, very useful websites with lots of
- 2:24new tools for customers to shop for cars and get that find that perfect vehicle
- 2:31for you. It's already pretty simple. I can't imagine getting you We're just
- 2:36a few months ago did that in service with the great tool. Now they
- 2:39use to you mostly text with customers, allows them to keep you informed of
- 2:43your vehicle. You can even pay over your with your phone. They can
- 2:46send pictures of your vehicle if they find an issue or something, so you
- 2:51know when you're there or not. It's working great with our pickup and delivery
- 2:55and mobile service offerings right now that we're doing uh yeah, we're doing more
- 3:00and more of the particularly the Ford UH software update recalls that are happening,
- 3:07you know, so there occasionally there's a kind of a patch to the software
- 3:12that they need to put into the system. Now you don't have to bring
- 3:15your vehicle to the dealership to do. In fact, some of them will
- 3:20start only doing them outside the dealership. And just because it keeps keeps us
- 3:24from having to do that that process, if you think about it, of
- 3:29writing up the service ticket, to pulling it around back then the technician pulling
- 3:32it into the bay, then doing it, then pulling it back around to
- 3:36you, and you don't have to come into the dealership at all, but
- 3:39of course you can if you want. We know a lot of people want
- 3:42to come and get cookies and coffee. I just gotta say, you know,
- 3:45make an irresistible deal. And Joe makes great cookies. I didn't mention
- 3:52that last week, but the cookie monster, and yeah we have I know,
- 3:58I see some of our customers quite all off and in there grabbing a
- 4:00cookie. It's a good, good thing. I want a car with that.
- 4:06We are often running into May now though graduation time, and in the
- 4:12summer. We've got manufacturer sales events. This month we've got sub season for
- 4:17Ford and summer starts here for Toyota, and that's kind of cool. Great
- 4:24incentives, big cash discounts and rebates and low low interest rates. We've got
- 4:28a great selection right now, and if we don't have it, we'll go
- 4:32find it for you. You deal with that a lot, don't you.
- 4:35Tyler. It's hard to imagine, but we've got something like I added it
- 4:41up twenty four different models of Fords and actually forty four of Toyota's. So
- 4:46that's sixty six different models with all the different trim levels and options that they
- 4:51have. Yeah, first of all, how do you know something about all
- 4:58that as a car you know, expert and somebody helped somebody do it.
- 5:01That's a that's an interesting question. Yeah, and then but really that's uh,
- 5:06you know, we can't have every car that's possible to be built,
- 5:11right, Yeah, it would Uh, it's already hard enough learning everything we
- 5:14got on the lot, so I couldn't imagine having one of everything. It's
- 5:17really it sounds silly, but actually sitting in the vehicle when it gets there,
- 5:20when the new stuff rolls out, just sitting in there and understanding and
- 5:24you know, pushing buttons. You're not going to break it. So just
- 5:27pushing buttons and learning it, and that way, because when a customer comes
- 5:30in and you buy the vehicle, you don't you don't want to have to
- 5:32push the buttons and learn and read everything. You want somebody to come in
- 5:34there. High points just kind of walk you through the system and with the
- 5:40new app with Ford and two they have this app so you can actually do
- 5:43a lot of this stuff even on your phone. So it's just it's phenomenal
- 5:46and so it makes it a lot easier. And with Ford, you know,
- 5:48they got little help buttons now so when you click on stuff, so
- 5:51it's just nice to just refresh and walk them through it. Very good.
- 5:56That's good. And we've got a lot of great inventory that's hitting the ground
- 5:59and and new stuff that's coming. I know people are really anticipating the new
- 6:04land Cruiser and we've got our first one allocated. It's beautiful and we're going
- 6:11to have this is this is an announcement here, so okay, so we're
- 6:15going to have a kind of a contest to decide who gets to buy our
- 6:19land Cruiser. It's a first edition black Black I'm Black blackout land Cruiser of
- 6:26the rebirth of the land Cruiser, hearkening back to the original land Cruiser.
- 6:31It's beautiful and we've been getting calls from all over the country as happens on
- 6:38things like this, and you know, so everybody's like, I'm not going
- 6:42to pay over a sticker and all this, and you know, some dealers
- 6:45are are going to hold their vehicles at ransom when something's so you know,
- 6:50limited supply. They're only going to build five thousand of them this year,
- 6:54and you know it's just not going to be uh you know everywhere. So
- 6:58I don't have that many. I'm gonna I know, I'm gonna probably get
- 7:01one or two more after this one this year. Uh So, what we
- 7:05decided to do is we're gonna have you kind of apply for the option or
- 7:11the right to purchase it. We wanted to ask you a few questions and
- 7:14maybe submit a video of why you what you're gonna do with the land cruiser,
- 7:17A little bit about your history with Toyota. You know, if you've
- 7:20owned a land cruiser before, history with Dungeons will be great. We want
- 7:25to find somebody who, you know, hopefully from our local community, was
- 7:29really gonna enjoy the land cruiser and use it. And uh but we want
- 7:32to find some stories. Yeah, we want to hear some stories and and
- 7:36so we're gonna do that the month of May, and we should get the
- 7:41land cruiser. Have you seen an updated date on arrival? I forgot to
- 7:45look this morning. They said May around May, you know, with transportation.
- 7:50I don't want to. We don't really, I don't really. They
- 7:53just said it's supposed to be at some time in May, and uh,
- 7:57you know, will so the I think our Jason just about has the website
- 8:03stuff set so that you can go and start making your submissions and the sales
- 8:07team will be reaching out to everybody who's inquired about the land Cruiser and sent
- 8:11and directing them to this application process. And you know, it's a it's
- 8:16a cool idea. Hopefully it'll it'll attract a lot of attention and I'm sure
- 8:20it already. That's kind of why we're doing it. It would be fun,
- 8:24you know, it's getting the community engaged, you know, with Dungeon's
- 8:26history around here, maybe really cool to and actually interact with the people and
- 8:31our customers. And I'm excited for I'm hoping a lot of people apply and
- 8:35we need to meet a lot of vehicles their lifestyle there and you know,
- 8:37something like a land Cruiser or our Broncos those are really vehicles that you're going
- 8:43to use, right and anything. I mean, we're getting ready to start
- 8:46summer and with suv season, you know, summer vacations and and everything start
- 8:54soon. So this this is we're gearing up for all that with all our
- 8:58great product you know we've got and after they all knew Land Cruiser, we've
- 9:03gotten a new four Runner coming Raider. We have the brand new Tacoma here.
- 9:09Now we've got great tundra selection and on the ground we d over a
- 9:13tunder over here this morning. That was really I'm trying to get I wont
- 9:18speaking of tundras right now. They did zero percent for thirty six months.
- 9:22Yes, if you can qualify, so why not start the summer, canoe
- 9:26in the tailgate and love at the family. That's right, zero percent for
- 9:31tundra. We've got some great interest rates at Ford two and with zero percent
- 9:37on some of the suv season rates are really outstanding. On twenty three Explorer,
- 9:43twenty four Escape, twenty four Edge and twenty four Expedition, you can
- 9:48get two nine for seventy two months. So that's that's incredible industry lash,
- 9:54ninety day Ford Credit deferred payments so you know, payments for ninety days and
- 10:00big dunge just discounts which you can find online. All all of our cars
- 10:03have upfront a simple price. We market based price them the minute they hit
- 10:09the lot and I go through that virtually every morning. Got great values too,
- 10:16And like I said, the selection is good and getting better all the
- 10:20time. I was looking at the used car a lot too, and well,
- 10:24there's not very many right now. It's pretty sparse. There's some great
- 10:28vehicles and someone that are are still in service that are about to come out
- 10:33on the lot. That We've got a twenty two cheap Gladiator Willie's. That's
- 10:39it's also incredibly ninety three hundred dollars below market average. This thing is priced
- 10:45incredibly well. It's only got twenty three thousand miles on it. It's really
- 10:50well equipped, it's got a lot of the premium upgrades, you know,
- 10:54everything you could want on it. Really great vehicle. I've got a twenty
- 10:58two for one fifty XLT. It's a Carfax one owner vehicle. It's got
- 11:03fifteen thousand dollars worth of premium upgrades on it. It's an XLT four wheel
- 11:09drive supercrew with a five point five foot box and it's twenty six hundred dollars
- 11:16below market average. Wow, We've got a twenty nineteen Audi A six premium
- 11:22plus. This is a really nice This is a nice car. Fifty two
- 11:26thousand miles. It's under thirty thousand dollars twenty seven two point fifty and it's
- 11:33twenty two to fifty below market average. And I know there's I mean,
- 11:37it's among the lowest price to this vehicle in the country. That won't last
- 11:41long, No, it shouldn't. We've got a really rare vehicle on the
- 11:46Toyota showroom two thousand and sixteen Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. So this is the
- 11:52the it has the special key. You had red key, the red key.
- 11:58People who who are interested in Hellcats know what their red key is all
- 12:03about. And it's a one. It's a Carfax accident free vehicle. Seven
- 12:09thousand miles on a twenty sixteen Challenger Hellcat so gray vehicle twenty twenty one Chevy
- 12:18Tahoe Premiere just ninety one thousand miles on that So it's got a few miles,
- 12:22but it's eighty eight hundred dollars below market average. And one of my
- 12:28the best looking trucks on the lot is that Dodge ram Yeah right, I
- 12:33mean is that it's sharp, lots of chrome black paint the interior. It's
- 12:37thirteen thousand below market average. It's a really nice truck. It does have
- 12:43a gas modification so you can run it on gasoline or on natural gas.
- 12:50And you know, so it's got two tanks they switch naturally together. It's
- 12:54been professionally installed. It's really a cool system and truck. We've got a
- 13:01price right for sure, it's an incredibly value and it's it's it's it's one
- 13:07of the nicest vehicles on the lot, I think, as far as you
- 13:09use, as far as condition. We've also got a twenty eighteen Nissan Titan
- 13:16that's a great value for a truck like this. It's forty three hundred dollars
- 13:22below market average. It's got a few miles one hundred and ten thousand miles,
- 13:26but it's a really nice truck to well maintained and taken care of.
- 13:30We've got a twenty twenty Chevrolet Silverado fifteen hundred a four wheel drive lt trind
- 13:35package. It's forty two hundred below average, twenty sixteen Lexus r X three
- 13:41fifty sixty five hundred dollars below market average. So you get the point there
- 13:46on the market based prices, and you know that we focus on that a
- 13:52lot, on how we price and being transparent in what we do. There's
- 13:56you know, I've been reading a lot about how you know, how to
- 14:01have people advising customers or how to shop for cars, and as someone who
- 14:07sells cars, I think it's interesting I think to hear from you about some
- 14:11of that. You know, because our simple price. When somebody comes in
- 14:16and they say, do they still expect a big discount? I mean,
- 14:18oh, of course, you know, because everything you know, in our
- 14:20eyes, we feel like everything in life is negotiable. So you know,
- 14:24even though we talk about simple price and they come in, first instinct we
- 14:26walk to a car dealership is they're after my money. They want to try
- 14:31to get as much money out of me as they can. You know,
- 14:33I don't stressful to make me so stressed. So whenever you are able to
- 14:39talk about simple pricing, and it's easier to start out with trust. Because
- 14:43when you go to a car dealership and it's all you know, non salary,
- 14:46they're all commission based, you know that they want to sell the car
- 14:48for the most money, so they can because they got to put food on
- 14:52the table. But with us, you know, we're actually there looking out
- 14:54for the customers. So when we're able to talk about simple pricing. It's
- 14:58like, hey, we can show you comparatively on the market that we're actually
- 15:01trying to look out for you and your family, give you the best vehicle
- 15:05for the best price that you can get around there. And just being able
- 15:09to show them, you know, visual Pole would be surprised at how little
- 15:13we make per car, really and they really would. And then and sometimes
- 15:16people are getting advice. I've seen a lot lately about shopping for your finance
- 15:22before you come to the dealership. Maybe you know, not even considering the
- 15:28dealer offered warranties and other products. And I understand sometimes those things may be
- 15:33overpriced, but not at Dune. Just with our simple price stuff. It
- 15:37extends all the way into that and we have some great product that we really
- 15:39feel strongly about. And I know you had an experience recently with someone with
- 15:43one of your customers and the windshield product. And you know, the windshields
- 15:48now are are very important because they may have they have different technology in them
- 15:54because they work with the innovation stuff. There's sensors and stuff inside your windshield
- 16:02and cameras. So whenever you miss up your windshield, you think, oh,
- 16:06I can just call safe fy and put it in. Well, that
- 16:07camera you have to get it recalibrated. You got to get all your safety
- 16:11you know those all that technology recalibrated inside your windshield. And you know that
- 16:17windshield itself is an eight hundred bucks or so. I think it was like
- 16:21fifteen for the windshielding, the calibration. And if you don't it's for rock
- 16:26chips and little things. I mean it's a big, big risk. I
- 16:29see that a lot on the cars I drive, little rock will get in
- 16:33there. It's one of the more common things that I have to replace on
- 16:34you. But I'm driving to be honest. So that's an example of the
- 16:40of what you know, things we offer that we feel like are really great
- 16:42values. And there's another one that we add to every new vehicle zerich Shield
- 16:48Eleite plus every new vehicle that's is added to at no additional cost to the
- 16:52customer. And this is an advanced ceramic technology for exterior that protects the paint
- 16:59and also some interior protection against stains and fading that prevents premature aging. And
- 17:06we feel like this product really helps retain the value of the customer. We
- 17:11all know that you're going to spill things in the car and just make sure
- 17:14that you know, it's never going to get a permanent stain, and if
- 17:17it does, it's got some back up there to help you get that fixed,
- 17:21and that we do that at no additional cost to our customers. And
- 17:26you know, so I think just another thing is that we work on is
- 17:30having the best loan offerings for our customers, and that you know, sometimes
- 17:36that's the rate, but it really it's about the situation the customers in.
- 17:38It's about the you know, how much, how long they keep their car,
- 17:41how many miles a year they drive, how many you know, how
- 17:45they typically have bought vehicles before. And so we work with a number of
- 17:51different lenders and we can put get our customers to the right situation that helps
- 17:56them really, you know, to accomplish their goals with the vehicle. Get
- 18:00into equity as soon as possible, so that you have the flexibility to keep
- 18:07buying and purchasing vehicles again, rather than not find yourself in a situation where
- 18:11you have you know, what they call upside down whether where you're you know,
- 18:15a lot more than the vehicle's worth. And we really work hard to
- 18:19help people avoid that. Yeah, and what's really cool is you're talking about
- 18:23the warranties. One thing that I find pretty awesome is you actually have a
- 18:27house warranty that you put on used vehicles, you know, six thousand miles
- 18:32or six months, whichever comes first. You know, for you to do
- 18:34that out of you know, the dealership, you know, because you care,
- 18:37that says a lot no. And since we've done that about six months
- 18:42ago, we've had a number of claims and that just shows that it really
- 18:48is a valuable product. And you know these are on some of our higher
- 18:52mileage and older vehicles, and you know there's always a risk of the vehicle
- 18:56for breaking down. We do everything we can going through the We don't put
- 19:00anything on our lot that we don't have a lot of confidence in. H.
- 19:04It's pretty careful about his recondition. So but you know, but you
- 19:11never know, things break and so we we believe in those warranties and they
- 19:15definitely have worked for our customers. Just makes it easier, just makes that
- 19:21experience a lot easier. When you're able to spend that kind of money and
- 19:23know that you know the dealership is looking out for you, it's definitely helps
- 19:29out. So I mentioned a couple of minutes ago about the pick up a
- 19:34delivery and remote service in our forward shop. Toyota has some great offerings now
- 19:41on tired specials and battery specials and other things that you can check out on
- 19:45our website. Both the websites. Ford and Toyota have a new service scheduling
- 19:51tool. Uh, you know, I'd be honest. Last fall and until
- 19:55at some point this spring, we had a service scheduling tool that wasn't working
- 20:00right. We worked with that vendor for months trying to get it fixed,
- 20:03and they just weren't able to fix it. And you know, so we
- 20:07got a new product up and it actually works much better. Our team is.
- 20:11You can go online. You just put in your phone number, it'll
- 20:15your vehicle will come right up. It's easy to select the time you want
- 20:18to come in. It puts the appointment right into our system, so we
- 20:23know you're coming. We can be ready for you. That way. It
- 20:27notifies the technician and the parts department what's coming, what services you think you
- 20:33need. If you don't know what you need, don't worry about it.
- 20:36You will figure that out when you get here. But it's all just about
- 20:40making it convenient and easy for the customer to schedule their appointment. What we
- 20:45do offer now the pick up and delivery. So if you don't want to
- 20:48not even bring in your vehicle, contact us and we'll be happy to come
- 20:52get it and take it back to you. That's available within a certain mileage
- 20:57range on certain services that you do. But call and talk to you our
- 21:02service advisors about that. We do have a whole bunch of other stuff that's
- 21:08going on in the Toyota side. I know you mentioned the zero percent on
- 21:14the Tundras. What else do they have? So one of my favorite vehicles
- 21:21is the Crown right, Yeah, we got a couple of those in.
- 21:26Until you sit in it and drive it, it's unlike anything I've ever said
- 21:32in or drove before. It's just the quietest, smoothest ride and two point
- 21:36nine for thirty six months. You and with all the technology that comes in
- 21:41these things, some of them park themselves, parallel, park, back up,
- 21:45pull forward about itself. I mean, the safety system is incredible,
- 21:51three sixty cameras and you know, and it blacks out where whenever you're turning
- 21:55in you may not be able to see the front, but the camera actually
- 21:57shows you how much space you have to make sure you're not going to back
- 22:00into something or clip it. So just to what they were able to do
- 22:04with the technology. And it's back by the Toyota Care. You know,
- 22:07you get two years twenty five thousand miles two years or twenty five thousand miles
- 22:14oil changes entire rotations with Toyota Care, you know, alone with the great
- 22:18financing rates. You know, cameras are also We got a couple of cameras
- 22:22when we have some coming in gone and I saw a beautiful blue Tacoma that
- 22:26landed the TRD Pro or TRD pro Sport. Yes, it's a very fun
- 22:32and the blue they have it's a very it's just kind of right, Yeah,
- 22:36it's but it looks cool. The way they blacked it out. The
- 22:38black and blue looks really good together. Another for runners there they are finally
- 22:45it's been a while since they've had incentivized rates on four runners. Yeah,
- 22:48and especially this love four point nine for thirty six and you guys should get
- 22:52five point nine up to seventy two. That's incredible. And speaking of vehicles
- 22:56like that, we've got a great selection of broncos now we finally getting some
- 23:00on the ground. We've got a Bronco Raptor that's available. Beautiful truck,
- 23:06got a nice white outer Banks model I think is which that one is,
- 23:11and then a couple other a beautiful black blacked out. It's really a cool
- 23:18Bros. I haven't seen one that blacked out. It's and it seems like
- 23:23it's a different shade black. I don't maybe it's just my eyes playing tricks
- 23:27on it. If you're a Jeep owner, you get an extra rebate if
- 23:32you trade in your or you don't. You just have to prove you own
- 23:34a Jeep and you actually get an extra rebate on the Bronco Ford once to
- 23:41convert some brink some Jeep customers, So check it out. If you're a
- 23:45Jeep owner and like that vehicle, come check out the Bronco. You will
- 23:48get one thousand dollars and open bonus cash from Ford and one thousand dollars Conquest
