In this episode, I share my complicated history with Halloween and what I found when I looked into its roots. Long before the plastic skeletons and scary movies, this season began with Samhain, an ancient Celtic festival marking the end of the harvest and the turn toward winter. It was a time to honor loved ones who had passed, gather together, and carry light into the darkest part of the year.
