Shiloh Baptist Church is hosting its annual community carnival this Friday night in the parking lot — the first big gathering in the East End since the tragic shooting at Charles Young Park. With bumper cars, horse rides, food trucks (including the wildly popular BBQ nachos that sold out last year), and security from the sheriff’s office, it’s a free, open-to-all event designed to bring people together for healing, fellowship, and fun.
