- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up this week on Relatables, how about fuck Jeremiah
- 0:03Speaker 1: and fuck Conrad. I am team cam that boy, to
- 0:08Speaker 1: be fair, she let him down in a good way,
- 0:10Speaker 1: like was honest with him.
- 0:11Speaker 2: But didn't deserve what he got.
- 0:24Speaker 3: The Relatables podcast is hosted by myself Audie Clark aka
- 0:28Speaker 3: Mummy and my partner in crime, mister Jake Craig aka Daddy.
- 0:32Speaker 3: And he is.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Mummy because he's the one you go to an you
- 0:36Speaker 1: got a little boo boo on your old bow.
- 0:38Speaker 3: And Jake is Daddy because he can't say no to
- 0:41Speaker 3: the baddies.
- 0:42Speaker 1: You guys are the baddies.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Welcome back, baddies.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I actually wanted to say, if you're a new baddy, welcome, warm, Welcome, warm, welcome,
- 0:51Speaker 1: Welcome to the hour where you are nothing butter baddie.
- 0:55Speaker 1: And then when this hour is over, keep doing doing
- 0:57Speaker 1: if you want to be a baddy, stay aboutd I
- 0:59Speaker 1: you don't want to be a baddy, don't.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Hopefully we can make this next hour quick, go like this,
- 1:03Speaker 3: fingers cross. That's our plan. That's our mission, yeah mission,
- 1:07Speaker 3: and we're going to kick things off with a massive bang. Yeah, Jake,
- 1:11Speaker 3: we have a massive announcement. Guys, Oddie is having a baby. Personally,
- 1:20Speaker 3: I kind of prep that too much. No, this is
- 1:23Speaker 3: the equivalent, not really. When you were like massive announcement,
- 1:27Speaker 3: I was thinking, like, we have a brand new segment. Yeah,
- 1:34Speaker 3: show concept idea, and we are so excited to bring
- 1:40Speaker 3: it to the bat Eytoire because it involves you, guys,
- 1:48Speaker 3: and also your boyfriends.
- 1:51Speaker 1: For those that have one.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, and if you don't, that sucks. I mean
- 1:57Speaker 3: to be honestly, game is the game. It actually kind
- 1:58Speaker 3: of does the games the game. But we are going
- 2:02Speaker 3: to call this the relatables Boyfriend Olympics. Yeah, and this
- 2:08Speaker 3: is the first week, and what we are doing is
- 2:12Speaker 3: pinning head to head Baddie's boyfriends who compete unknowingly to
- 2:18Speaker 3: see which Baddie has the best boyfriend. There's a lot
- 2:22Speaker 3: of bees in that.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Hey again, game is a game. Who cares?
- 2:27Speaker 3: How this is going to work is very very interesting. Well,
- 2:31Speaker 3: first they came up with the idea because on this
- 2:33Speaker 3: podcast we obviously like to put men in their place
- 2:37Speaker 3: and tell them how it is. But also there are
- 2:41Speaker 3: some very nice men in the world, I'm sure of it,
- 2:45Speaker 3: very very miniscule, but I dare say they're dating the
- 2:48Speaker 3: baddies who listen to this podcast fingers crossed. So we
- 2:51Speaker 3: also wanted to highlight some nice men in the world,
- 2:54Speaker 3: of course, but we want to do it in a
- 2:56Speaker 3: playful manner where they're competing unknowingly. So this week there
- 3:02Speaker 3: will be a link in the top of the description
- 3:04Speaker 3: to sign up you and your boyfriend, and for the
- 3:08Speaker 3: next three weeks, two baddies each week will be competing
- 3:12Speaker 3: head to head in a challenge with their boyfriend. But
- 3:17Speaker 3: your boyfriend's not going to not gonna know he's competing, Yes, anyday.
- 3:21Speaker 3: I'm kind of nervous about it.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Yeah, and oh, we're not picking the winner.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Yeah, we're not picking the winner. So how it's going
- 3:30Speaker 3: to work is we're not telling you the challenge because
- 3:32Speaker 3: this is also an honesty system, so you're not going
- 3:35Speaker 3: to tell all your boyfriend the answers and he automatically wins.
- 3:38Speaker 1: But we also trust the bad he'sn't going to do that. Yeah,
- 3:41Speaker 1: so we thought about that. Yeah, and we're taking a risk. Yeah,
- 3:43Speaker 1: to be fair, we don't want to make sure any
- 3:46Speaker 1: boyfriends are getting help from their girlfriends, so we're just
- 3:50Speaker 1: we're gone via trust, right, because no one's spoiled Akaitar
- 3:53Speaker 1: for us yet, and we're assuming that you won't spoil this.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Yeah. So there'll be three group stages where baddies will
- 3:59Speaker 3: compete head to hea head and each week, say, two
- 4:01Speaker 3: baddies call in and one's boyfriend's name is Reese and
- 4:05Speaker 3: the other one's name is as Real. At the end
- 4:07Speaker 3: of the challenge, Jake and I will say our two cents,
- 4:10Speaker 3: but also actually all the baddies listening get to comment
- 4:14Speaker 3: who won the challenge more so.
- 4:16Speaker 1: And then than the week. The next week obviously we
- 4:18Speaker 1: announced the winner of that week, yes, and then that
- 4:21Speaker 1: person yeah, well, no, that couple. Yeah, they move into what.
- 4:28Speaker 3: The medals, So there will be an automatic gold medal
- 4:33Speaker 3: placement who we will choose, Yes, we do want to
- 4:35Speaker 3: give ourselves a little bit of power. And then the
- 4:37Speaker 3: other two winners will go head to head in a
- 4:40Speaker 3: silver versus bronze yep. And then whoever wins that challenge
- 4:43Speaker 3: goes to the gold medal match, and gold and silver
- 4:46Speaker 3: and so forth. Basically how any Olympics works. Yeah, and
- 4:51Speaker 3: I wish we could tell you the challenges now, but
- 4:53Speaker 3: we don't want to give too much away.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Yeah, So basically, right, it's if you want to be
- 4:59Speaker 1: in yeah, okay, and then if you sign up, that's
- 5:03Speaker 1: when you get given the challenge.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Correct.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Correct, And then next week we announced what the challenge
- 5:07Speaker 1: was and the two baddies that we've chosen that have
- 5:09Speaker 1: signed up, and we just say how it went.
- 5:13Speaker 3: And also the challenges are very harmless. Oh yeah, simple harmless. Yeah,
- 5:17Speaker 3: super super simple. If you could think of a challenge
- 5:20Speaker 3: to for your boyfriend to compete unknowingly, you could probably
- 5:23Speaker 3: think of it. Yeah, so sign up below, get involved.
- 5:26Speaker 3: We're also very excited to talk to you guys, yeah,
- 5:30Speaker 3: and get to know your relationships a little bit.
- 5:32Speaker 1: We just gonna try something new, Yeah.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Something fun, a little bit intricate.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Wait, I mean I'm keen for I'm just keen to
- 5:38Speaker 1: see how it goes and.
- 5:39Speaker 3: What should the gold medal couple? So what's going to
- 5:42Speaker 3: happen is at the very end, I want to call
- 5:44Speaker 3: the baddies boyfriend who wins and one unknowingly and call
- 5:48Speaker 3: them and tell me what should they win?
- 5:53Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, let's just say that. Now, what does a
- 5:54Speaker 1: couple want though? What does the dude want to Okay,
- 5:57Speaker 1: I was gonna say he won't want merch, So we'll
- 5:59Speaker 1: send the baddies who wins merch. Yes, of course, the
- 6:02Speaker 1: dude won't want me because he probably doesn't know who
- 6:04Speaker 1: we are. He wouldn't know who we are. You don't want
- 6:05Speaker 1: to just like wear it with this massive logo on it.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Maybe we should send it to him.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Hey, let's just say this. If he wins gold, he
- 6:14Speaker 1: should be wanting them.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Kidding, no, no, no, what do men want?
- 6:18Speaker 1: What do men want? We could I mean, we could
- 6:24Speaker 1: send him on like a nice dinner.
- 6:26Speaker 3: We've never really done that.
- 6:28Speaker 1: We could send a couple. We could send yeah, the
- 6:30Speaker 1: winning couple on a really nice dinner, depending on what
- 6:34Speaker 1: city they're in. So where basically, when we know what
- 6:38Speaker 1: city they're in, we'll just go look up a mad
- 6:39Speaker 1: sick restaurant and give him a voucher or something.
- 6:41Speaker 3: That's a great idea. I like that. Yeah, on a
- 6:43Speaker 3: romantic day. That's what he wants anyway, right, brilliant idea.
- 6:47Speaker 3: I like that.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I like that.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Or we could say that we are the winner. You
- 6:50Speaker 3: get to take your girlfriend on this dinner. We've booked
- 6:53Speaker 3: you in, but you have to pay. Now, we'll pay.
- 6:57Speaker 3: We'll put a tab on at the restaurant for you guys.
- 7:00Speaker 1: And that's a good idea.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Actually, I didn't think of that it would get up.
- 7:04Speaker 3: I just was like excited to do that. Sign up
- 7:07Speaker 3: below and it all starts next week. Damn. I'm scared.
- 7:13Speaker 3: If you do get picked, We're gonna text and call
- 7:15Speaker 3: you the all the details in written forms so you
- 7:17Speaker 3: completely understand. Ye yah yeah yeah yah yeah yeah yeah yeah.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Coo cool, coo cool.
- 7:21Speaker 3: But this is exciting.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Ye. Sorry, that's a book club thing.
- 7:25Speaker 3: If you're not listening to book club.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Apparently everyone hates it when I say cool, And now
- 7:29Speaker 1: I hate myself to get into the real crux of things.
- 7:42Speaker 3: What does that mean? The croux, like the deepness, the juice,
- 7:45Speaker 3: That's what it means.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Crux of the program.
- 7:48Speaker 3: I think of like a crack and then you're like
- 7:50Speaker 3: in the depth of that crack. For some reason, when
- 7:52Speaker 3: I hate when.
- 7:53Speaker 1: I crack, What do you think interesting you say crack?
- 7:58Speaker 1: Because when I say crash, I think of a bum.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Did you think about I think of a crack like
- 8:05Speaker 3: in the earth I could take on a plate crack.
- 8:07Speaker 3: That's what I'm thinking.
- 8:09Speaker 1: I feel like they be like the middle of a mountain.
- 8:12Speaker 3: You just said, bombs. How's it a mountain now?
- 8:15Speaker 1: But then taking my mind? Oh okay, the middle of
- 8:17Speaker 1: a mountain. But yeah, last week you.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Were thinking about vaginas. Now you're thinking about butt cracks.
- 8:21Speaker 3: What was thinking about vaginas? When?
- 8:23Speaker 1: Also, I said, don't tell me you don't think about vaginas.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Not right now? Let's thinking about you about?
- 8:34Speaker 1: Is it three weeks ago?
- 8:35Speaker 3: Now?
- 8:36Speaker 1: What what I'm about to talk about?
- 8:38Speaker 3: I don't know what we're about to talk about. Oh no,
- 8:39Speaker 3: two weeks ago.
- 8:40Speaker 1: So two weeks ago.
- 8:41Speaker 3: So he's distracted me at.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Your head, get your head way out of your ass. Figuratively,
- 8:48Speaker 1: I feel like it's in your figuratively, Hey, stick around.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Ah.
- 8:58Speaker 1: So two weeks ago I got a for any of
- 9:02Speaker 1: the baddies that I didn't listen to. Two weeks ago,
- 9:04Speaker 1: I got a note on my car when I parked
- 9:07Speaker 1: overnight out front of my new friend Justin's place, Justin
- 9:11Speaker 1: In Atlanta's place. So I when I went to put
- 9:15Speaker 1: my car, it's a note there, I said, and the
- 9:17Speaker 1: photos up. But the note said don't park here again, dickhead.
- 9:21Speaker 1: And so I brought it to the polod it spoke
- 9:23Speaker 1: to about it with you. I texted Justin. He said,
- 9:26Speaker 1: I was like, this had to be you.
- 9:27Speaker 3: You know.
- 9:28Speaker 1: I was like, this obviously was you, and he goes,
- 9:29Speaker 1: that wasn't me, bro, and so you and I were like, yeah, yeah,
- 9:31Speaker 1: he wouldn't do that. We've been friends for not a
- 9:33Speaker 1: long enough time. And so then I was talking to
- 9:35Speaker 1: Beth about it, and so I said what I was
- 9:37Speaker 1: going to do was join the Dremoyne community page because
- 9:41Speaker 1: I live in Dromoyne and put it up and like,
- 9:45Speaker 1: do this whole thing about saying that. So, so if
- 9:46Speaker 1: I ruined anyone's day, you know, I was picking up
- 9:48Speaker 1: my friend to tea.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Him to the hospital.
- 9:50Speaker 1: And so there's been only slight.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Development and pause, Jake was going to play golf with
- 9:56Speaker 3: his friend. Yes, basically yeah, I didn't actually take a friend
- 9:59Speaker 3: of the hospital. Sorry. Actually I was actually going to
- 10:03Speaker 3: play at Justin. That's why I fucked out front of himself.
- 10:06Speaker 1: So there's been only slight developments and so I first
- 10:11Speaker 1: of all, I could have I could have brought bigger developments,
- 10:14Speaker 1: but I just didn't want to use my brain. And
- 10:16Speaker 1: so what I do want to do is maybe ask
- 10:18Speaker 1: the badd is to help or may see, we'll see
- 10:20Speaker 1: if you have any ideas. So I think it was
- 10:25Speaker 1: when I spoke that actually the day I told you
- 10:27Speaker 1: about it. That night, I went to pick something up
- 10:32Speaker 1: from Justin's place and I went in and I was
- 10:36Speaker 1: talking to him and then I was talking to him
- 10:39Speaker 1: about the note that was left right, and he goes, oh, yeah,
- 10:46Speaker 1: it was me, what right? And I was like what.
- 10:50Speaker 1: He goes, yeah, yeah it was me. Didn't Beth tell you?
- 10:52Speaker 3: Oh, so he's lying.
- 10:54Speaker 1: So he originally was lying to me. And then he
- 10:56Speaker 1: was going to tell me at the dog park, but
- 10:58Speaker 1: I didn't go because I was here accident. I did
- 11:01Speaker 1: text him and so he was but he he said like,
- 11:03Speaker 1: he just goes, I was, I didn't tell you, And
- 11:04Speaker 1: then I was just gonna like, let you know, hah,
- 11:07Speaker 1: like it actually was me. I saw him in person.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Yeah, and so you should have told him, mate, I've
- 11:11Speaker 3: brought this to the podcast I did.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I was like, dude, I spoke to some the podcast
- 11:14Speaker 1: and everything. He goes, oh, no, I'm so sorry, lad,
- 11:17Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I was like, is fine?
- 11:19Speaker 3: What? No?
- 11:21Speaker 1: I think he doesn't Actually he doesn't say I'm sore, sorry, Lad.
- 11:24Speaker 3: I just love doing his accent because I fucking Irish
- 11:28Speaker 3: but Irish.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Yeah, and but he did go. He was like, oh, crap, sorry,
- 11:32Speaker 1: and I was like, no, it's fine, it's fine, and
- 11:34Speaker 1: so but he said that. So on like the Tuesday
- 11:37Speaker 1: afternoon when I was here and not there, he told Beth.
- 11:41Speaker 1: And then I had spoken to Beth about it multiple
- 11:44Speaker 1: times and he was like, oh, I told her to
- 11:48Speaker 1: tell you. Oh, and she has decided not to tell
- 11:51Speaker 1: me what because I told her I was going to
- 11:54Speaker 1: put it in the Dramoyan community pagie. She still wanted
- 11:56Speaker 1: me to do it, and I have a feeling she's
- 11:58Speaker 1: waiting for me to do it to then say, oh,
- 12:00Speaker 1: Justin told me it was him.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Is the mission against back the missions?
- 12:07Speaker 1: She she used to listen to the pod doesn't listen anymore,
- 12:10Speaker 1: So I'm condid she And so I said to Justin,
- 12:12Speaker 1: I was like, so Beth knows, and he goes, yeah, yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I said, look, I know this is becoming major full circle,
- 12:17Speaker 1: but don't tell Beth that I know. And I'm not
- 12:19Speaker 1: going to tell Beth that you told me. I'm still
- 12:21Speaker 1: going to make her think that I've just been forgetting
- 12:23Speaker 1: to put it in the German community page.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, okay.
- 12:26Speaker 1: So here's where I was like, not want to use
- 12:29Speaker 1: my brain. I was thinking, how can I get her.
- 12:30Speaker 3: With the hah? So you brought it to the smartest
- 12:33Speaker 3: person you know.
- 12:34Speaker 1: I brought it to the second smartest person I know.
- 12:36Speaker 1: But I will say he's pretty good.
- 12:38Speaker 3: At these things. Okay, so the game plan, he's what
- 12:44Speaker 3: I shift, sorry to interrupt you.
- 12:45Speaker 2: More.
- 12:46Speaker 1: A funnier thing I could have said was I did
- 12:48Speaker 1: bring it to the smartest person I know, my dad.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Now I'm bringing it to you. Yeah, put that in.
- 12:54Speaker 3: I edited the smartest person you know is editing the
- 13:00Speaker 3: game plan slightly shifted from the dramoine group chat or
- 13:04Speaker 3: the Facebook page to stitching Bethany up.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Okay, yeah you're so here's where my mind went. My
- 13:11Speaker 1: mind was like, I could put it in the community page,
- 13:13Speaker 1: and then when she says, hah, Justin told me it's
- 13:16Speaker 1: not that funny for me to just be like, oh yeah, no,
- 13:18Speaker 1: I knew I was just doing it to get at you,
- 13:19Speaker 1: because then she's gonna be like, well, you still just
- 13:21Speaker 1: put it in the community page. So what I'm thinking
- 13:24Speaker 1: of doing is just you know, leave that as is.
- 13:29Speaker 1: But I want to start fucking with Beth. So I
- 13:32Speaker 1: think what I'm going to start doing is the annoying
- 13:35Speaker 1: thing is is when so we have a parking spot
- 13:40Speaker 1: that she uses in like the undergarage, because she has
- 13:43Speaker 1: the nicest car of the three of us that live there,
- 13:45Speaker 1: and so she parks under there.
- 13:48Speaker 3: He gets his close, the gets is closed.
- 13:50Speaker 1: I just got a service nothing. She's still kicking. But
- 13:55Speaker 1: so I was thinking, do I start putting notes on
- 13:58Speaker 1: her car?
- 13:58Speaker 3: That's where Mark and went to.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Yeah, but I just feel like she's gonna know it's me,
- 14:04Speaker 1: because who's going to do that. It's our parking spot.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Like I was thinking, I could just be like nice
- 14:08Speaker 1: park or park further in stop leaving the back of
- 14:10Speaker 1: your car out a little bit.
- 14:12Speaker 3: I reckon, you gotta do so it can't be in
- 14:15Speaker 3: your parking lot, Okay. And so there's two ways we
- 14:18Speaker 3: could go about this. One is this sounds crazy to say,
- 14:21Speaker 3: but Jake's girlfriend just got her piece. She's not eighteen,
- 14:24Speaker 3: though she's twenty three.
- 14:26Speaker 1: She's turning twenty.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Four, and a Jake has mentioned to me she's not
- 14:30Speaker 3: the best driver.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll give her credit where credits due. She's good, right,
- 14:36Speaker 1: I will say she's good I don't.
- 14:40Speaker 3: She thinks I'm dramatic, but she's She's just got a license,
- 14:43Speaker 3: so it's acceptable to assume she's not the greatest.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Okay, let me tell you this. She is, I would say,
- 14:51Speaker 1: like twice as good as Joanna.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Okay, Jake's sister, which is still pretty bad. Okay, but
- 14:59Speaker 3: where I was going on, there's two ways we can
- 15:01Speaker 3: go about this, because one is something to do with
- 15:03Speaker 3: her driving, yeah, or the other one is one of
- 15:08Speaker 3: our mates used to do this. I think I mentioned
- 15:09Speaker 3: it on the main episode of Patreon. You have to
- 15:11Speaker 3: write a note or something pretending to be someone who
- 15:15Speaker 3: fancies her and gas her up peeps, but realistically it's you.
- 15:21Speaker 3: So when you're out at like I don't know, a
- 15:24Speaker 3: cafe or lunch and she walks away with the dog,
- 15:26Speaker 3: you're at the car back, Oh sorry, just forgot me
- 15:28Speaker 3: water bottle and then put something on the car back.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Hey stuff, so you got it the car?
- 15:32Speaker 1: What are you doing with that? Dweep?
- 15:34Speaker 3: You're here? Is that mean though?
- 15:43Speaker 1: Because when she finds out it's me and and someone
- 15:47Speaker 1: didn't actually do that, I think.
- 15:48Speaker 3: It's nice because it's you. Or is that is that mean? Yeah? You?
- 15:52Speaker 1: Okay? Because he's I do think that's funny, but like
- 15:55Speaker 1: baddies need to let us know if that's too much.
- 15:57Speaker 3: I think you need to do, like at the bottom,
- 15:59Speaker 3: some type of like intricate script that's like backwards writing
- 16:03Speaker 3: that says my name's Jake or something something like.
- 16:07Speaker 1: That from Jake. Yeah, in like intricate script a different language.
- 16:11Speaker 1: I was also thinking I could I could slip notes
- 16:18Speaker 1: probably actually any mailbox maybe and be like, can you
- 16:22Speaker 1: tell your dog to shut the fuck up?
- 16:24Speaker 3: Oh? Can you get your dogs? Yeah? Because she actually
- 16:28Speaker 3: stresses about him shut the fuck up? I feel about this,
- 16:34Speaker 3: did you hear?
- 16:35Speaker 1: I said? He? How about this? How about this?
- 16:38Speaker 3: Howling like a dog? Babe?
- 16:40Speaker 1: How about this?
- 16:41Speaker 3: Ah?
- 16:42Speaker 1: I I say, like, could you keep it down when
- 16:47Speaker 1: you're having sex with your boyfriend?
- 16:54Speaker 3: No?
- 16:54Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no, no no, what would you get? What
- 16:56Speaker 1: could you say? Because the job you do? No, she
- 16:58Speaker 1: won't believe that. Also, she probably think I'm cheating, yeah,
- 17:02Speaker 1: because she'll be like, I'm not that loud.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Who are you making mode like that? Okay?
- 17:08Speaker 1: No, no wait wait seriously, okay could.
- 17:11Speaker 3: You I don't know. I think it's good because she
- 17:15Speaker 3: liked to you about the note you know, how about
- 17:17Speaker 3: I just fuck with her and instead of saying like,
- 17:21Speaker 3: oh you know, here's my number, get rid of that dweep,
- 17:24Speaker 3: I don't just why don't I just have a couple
- 17:25Speaker 3: of notes that I have laying around in pockets.
- 17:28Speaker 1: I don't forget, And every time I go to a cafe,
- 17:30Speaker 1: I just leave a little note that's like nice park,
- 17:32Speaker 1: like ship Park or something. Instead of like gassing her up,
- 17:35Speaker 1: I just say like ship park.
- 17:36Speaker 3: I feel like, okay, we need the baddies yeah, to
- 17:39Speaker 3: have a definitive answer yeah, because I feel like that's
- 17:41Speaker 3: mean and them what I I feel like because it
- 17:44Speaker 3: seems like she she'll get a little perk saying oh
- 17:45Speaker 3: yeah I'm hot boyfriends, dweair, and then you're coming Yeah,
- 17:49Speaker 3: you're copping the brunt, and then it should happen twice
- 17:51Speaker 3: and then the third time one more time about BT doves,
- 17:54Speaker 3: This is Jake, I love you.
- 17:56Speaker 1: I feel like that's been me the whole time. Yeah,
- 17:59Speaker 1: I think I do think that's the best. I feel like,
- 18:02Speaker 1: I don't know, you know about the best as well.
- 18:03Speaker 1: I do want the baddies to give input just in case,
- 18:06Speaker 1: because for some reason, can think I.
- 18:08Speaker 3: Think that's no harm, no foul.
- 18:09Speaker 1: I think it's no harm, no foul too, but like,
- 18:13Speaker 1: I don't know if it's not. Is it like oh,
- 18:15Speaker 1: getting gassed up? But then it's actually no one's gassing
- 18:17Speaker 1: her up, So she's then gonna overthink how girls sometimes overthink.
- 18:21Speaker 1: But also you are kind of gassing Like true, I'm
- 18:23Speaker 1: the one doing the gassing. Yeah, I'm just sitting there.
- 18:26Speaker 1: It's intricate, it's interrictateing sleep on it. Yeah, I'm gonna
- 18:28Speaker 1: sleep on it. But also a bauddies please comment some.
- 18:33Speaker 1: But so that's the current update. What your girlfriend was
- 18:37Speaker 1: just in China?
- 18:38Speaker 3: My girlfriend was in China, Cassie. She got back yesterday.
- 18:41Speaker 3: In our relationship, one thing I really appreciate about her
- 18:44Speaker 3: is she doesn't let anyone else stop her from doing
- 18:48Speaker 3: what she wants to do and really thrives on her independence,
- 18:51Speaker 3: which is quite admirable in our relationship because I probably
- 18:55Speaker 3: could have really gotten work off, but I didn't want to,
- 18:57Speaker 3: and she's just like, well, what do you mean you
- 18:58Speaker 3: could have? You could have one, there's actually won one
- 19:00Speaker 3: hundred chance you would have. I kind of didn't. She
- 19:03Speaker 3: could say I didn't.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Want to go to China.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I kind of didn't really want to go to China.
- 19:06Speaker 3: And then she's just like, Okay, I'm going. And I
- 19:08Speaker 3: like that about it.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Oh yeah, if someone want to, yeah you may. Why wait?
- 19:11Speaker 3: She had like an epiphany before we met. She's like,
- 19:13Speaker 3: why am I waiting for all these people? She we
- 19:15Speaker 3: met when she was traveling Europe for three months by herself.
- 19:20Speaker 3: I met online, but yeah, which is really cool and
- 19:22Speaker 3: I appreciate that about it. And she got back and
- 19:24Speaker 3: can you see me? Can you see her? And Jake
- 19:28Speaker 3: and I were planning a trip to Bali Bally and
- 19:31Speaker 3: the coming about five or six weeks. I think I'm
- 19:33Speaker 3: going to go there, which is exciting, relaxed, Yeah, get
- 19:37Speaker 3: the tan on good.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I cried for first time, So how are you going
- 19:44Speaker 1: on Saturday? Our craft the first time in a long time.
- 19:46Speaker 1: I don't remember the crypt. I don't remember crying, but
- 19:49Speaker 1: it was cry like a sob I cried twice. I
- 19:53Speaker 1: sobbed twice on Saturday because Tilly got fucking adopted.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Yeah you foster the dog. That is sad. I was
- 20:00Speaker 3: so I couldn't believe it.
- 20:01Speaker 1: When I was crying, I was like, at what.
- 20:04Speaker 3: Point were you're crying like after she'd left.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Yes, so we dropped her off. Oh to the people's place,
- 20:09Speaker 1: nice apartment. Nice people. Paddington own the apartment of Patingon Rich.
- 20:15Speaker 3: He's a lawyer, going to going to a good homemade,
- 20:19Speaker 3: sent me some.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Money and we dropped her off, and I remember I
- 20:24Speaker 1: was just upset. But then when we got home, I, yeah, I.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Want to go home. I just was like crying.
- 20:34Speaker 1: And then then the second time I cried was because
- 20:37Speaker 1: the people she went to sent like update photos until
- 20:39Speaker 1: he was all happy, and I was like, first of all, rude.
- 20:42Speaker 1: I was like, we gave you a good life to
- 20:44Speaker 1: just be happy straight away. Fuck off.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Peter pressed for a little bit. I was like, I
- 20:48Speaker 3: was like, cry, can you can you go on like
- 20:50Speaker 3: little dog play dates?
- 20:51Speaker 1: Oh? Yeah, yeah, yeah, they've offered.
- 20:52Speaker 3: That's good.
- 20:52Speaker 1: They did offer, yeah, and they said that they want
- 20:54Speaker 1: to bring it to our dog park and stuff every
- 20:55Speaker 1: now and then. I probably will see her again. And
- 20:57Speaker 1: if I said, if you go away, is that worse though?
- 20:59Speaker 3: Is that like on the heart string?
- 21:00Speaker 1: That's what I was thinking. When Bethel goes, we can
- 21:02Speaker 1: see what we can see it, And I was like,
- 21:03Speaker 1: I don't know if that's worse though, like, how about
- 21:04Speaker 1: I just get over her and think about it.
- 21:06Speaker 3: It's like it's like keeping contact with your ex exactly.
- 21:08Speaker 3: It would just catch up, for get a coffee everyone
- 21:10Speaker 3: while I'm just going.
- 21:11Speaker 1: To be holding on the things.
- 21:14Speaker 3: But if I see her, I see it. She's so cute.
- 21:16Speaker 1: I miss It's funny.
- 21:17Speaker 3: How do you reckon? Tilly? The dog is unbeknownst the
- 21:21Speaker 3: word you like too? How sad you are?
- 21:25Speaker 1: I'm going to stop saying unbeknownst why because when you
- 21:27Speaker 1: said it just down, I realized that stupid.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Sound I say unbeknownst.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Sometimes I think I sound smart, But now that I've
- 21:33Speaker 1: heard it come from someone else, I'm gonna stop saying it.
- 21:36Speaker 1: It made me feel bad, I thought, I spot I
- 21:39Speaker 1: apologize for saying.
- 21:40Speaker 3: It in times. I'm going to keep making you I'm stupid.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Blah blah blah blah.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Coo coo cool.
- 21:48Speaker 3: That sounds stupid.
- 21:49Speaker 1: That's what you do, coo cool dog. I can admit
- 21:51Speaker 1: that sounds stupid. I can fully admit that sounds stupid.
- 21:54Speaker 1: You crying is uh?
- 21:56Speaker 3: I can't believe it. Yeah, do you feel good after that?
- 21:58Speaker 3: I haven't cried in a long time.
- 21:59Speaker 1: It's your release.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Last time I cried was when my dog passed away.
- 22:03Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it's very sad. I cried. We thought he
- 22:05Speaker 3: was gonna die in the middle of the night, so
- 22:07Speaker 3: I went to bed thinking he wasn't gonna be there
- 22:09Speaker 3: when I worked on Yeah, and I was like crying.
- 22:11Speaker 3: I couldn't fall asleep. Fair But it like kind of
- 22:13Speaker 3: worked in my favorite because when he did pass very sad,
- 22:16Speaker 3: I kind of already was emotionally prepared for it grieved
- 22:20Speaker 3: him a bit, Yeah, and like I was thinking what
- 22:22Speaker 3: it was like without him there like two weeks before. Yeah,
- 22:26Speaker 3: so it was like kind of nice in a way.
- 22:28Speaker 3: It was weird.
- 22:28Speaker 1: I was thinking, like what made me super sad was
- 22:32Speaker 1: the fact that she was really happy with us, and
- 22:35Speaker 1: then one day we're just packing her bags, put her
- 22:38Speaker 1: in the car. She just does it like we're just
- 22:40Speaker 1: going to see these people that she's met once and
- 22:42Speaker 1: then we're leaving and never coming back. Like that thought
- 22:45Speaker 1: just made me so sad that you can't explain to
- 22:47Speaker 1: Tilly what's going on and have her be okay with it.
- 22:49Speaker 1: She just just has to be okay.
- 22:50Speaker 3: With it no matter what. Yeah, even though it is
- 22:53Speaker 3: such a sad scenario, you and Beth like, very very
- 22:59Speaker 3: gracious thing you guys are doing, and props to you.
- 23:01Speaker 3: I doubt anyone said that to you, Like it takes
- 23:03Speaker 3: a certain type of person. People are like very empathetic person.
- 23:08Speaker 3: I couldn't do it because I would put my emotions
- 23:11Speaker 3: too high. Yeah, whereas like I'm not saying it's a
- 23:13Speaker 3: bad thing that you put yours lower, but no, no,
- 23:15Speaker 3: I know you mean, yeah, I'm trying to say, like
- 23:17Speaker 3: you're you're doing that. It's so nice.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I if someone said to me, I don't do it
- 23:21Speaker 1: because I get heartbroken, I wouldn't judge them. Yeah it's heartbreak.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I couldn't.
- 23:25Speaker 1: And we got we already like got another one, another
- 23:28Speaker 1: foster dog.
- 23:29Speaker 3: We named her Laney.
- 23:30Speaker 1: She's like, she's a four and a half month old
- 23:33Speaker 1: mixed medium breed.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Don't even know what gears bro.
- 23:36Speaker 1: The neglect this dog has seen I've never seen. I've
- 23:40Speaker 1: seen videos of dogs on adverts that it's like a
- 23:44Speaker 1: fostering advert or a pound advert, and it's like mounderish
- 23:48Speaker 1: dogs have been neglected. So I've seen photos of it
- 23:50Speaker 1: and videos of it, I've never seen it in person.
- 23:52Speaker 1: It's confronting as fuck. This puppy is nearly.
- 23:57Speaker 3: I was like, oh damn, it's hard.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sorry. I was thinking, like when I see
- 24:01Speaker 1: you the photo, I was like, I probably should have
- 24:02Speaker 1: given them a trigger warning. It's like because it like
- 24:05Speaker 1: is a little bit of a day ruiner. I'm not
- 24:07Speaker 1: gonna lie it actually is, but I can here's one
- 24:10Speaker 1: thing I can say. She is actually super happy. That's
- 24:12Speaker 1: good and like strong. So I think it's like because
- 24:16Speaker 1: she's been eating now for like a good week and
- 24:17Speaker 1: a half because the pound had it before us. So
- 24:20Speaker 1: I think she like feels good and she just needs
- 24:22Speaker 1: to put some like weight on, so she is sweet.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Well she's in good hands now. Yeah.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, exactly, And it does make it feel good
- 24:28Speaker 1: that like I would prefer to have her with us
- 24:29Speaker 1: than her being the pound, even though the pound is safe.
- 24:32Speaker 1: It's like it's just it's better for her people ask
- 24:34Speaker 1: for sure. Yeah that is okay, enough with the sad sad, Yeah, okay,
- 24:46Speaker 1: time for ig question I questioned the week. I question
- 24:48Speaker 1: of the week this week was what was a red
- 24:51Speaker 1: flag you missed until after you broke up, after after
- 24:56Speaker 1: you realized after the fact, Bodie, it's a red flag
- 25:01Speaker 1: for one of these batties. Do you think hmm four?
- 25:06Speaker 3: Do have baddies have any red flags? That's the question.
- 25:09Speaker 1: I guess.
- 25:09Speaker 3: The only red flag I can immediately think of is
- 25:11Speaker 3: if they're not signed up to the Patreon.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Couldn't agree more?
- 25:14Speaker 3: Yeah, couldn't agree more. Otherwise they're perfect.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Otherwise they are perfect.
- 25:19Speaker 3: Yeah, if mommy and daddy are having a little conversation
- 25:21Speaker 3: about how our baddies, our kids are doing. Yeah, like
- 25:24Speaker 3: they're perfect, but there's just this on dilemmas, we're like this,
- 25:27Speaker 3: this is one thing say we would say they're perfect,
- 25:29Speaker 3: but yeah, they're perfect butt perfect, But they're not signed
- 25:32Speaker 3: up to Patreon. And if you want to sign up
- 25:34Speaker 3: for Patreon, it's five dollars aud a month. And we're
- 25:37Speaker 3: on our way to a thousand members, which that means
- 25:41Speaker 3: we will be doing a live show when we hit that.
- 25:44Speaker 1: The more we talk about live show, I'm getting less
- 25:46Speaker 1: nervous and more excited.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, I feel like the nerves it's sort of
- 25:49Speaker 3: like the same thing with the dog. We've already dealt
- 25:52Speaker 3: with the nerves, the emotions that now we're fucking ready. Yeah, well,
- 25:55Speaker 3: what do they get on Patreon?
- 25:56Speaker 1: Jakes you get an extra episode every single Thursday, just
- 26:00Speaker 1: like this one.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Even better, some would say, someone say even better.
- 26:04Speaker 1: I like the vibe checker we do over there.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Yeah. Also, and we randomly listened to we always listened
- 26:09Speaker 3: to like.
- 26:09Speaker 1: A bunch of songs and chick you can't get copy right.
- 26:11Speaker 3: I feel like we don't mention either the community over there.
- 26:14Speaker 3: The group chat feels like just a group chat full
- 26:16Speaker 3: of friends. As I'm always in there, Jake's not really there,
- 26:19Speaker 3: You're probably talking to me, but it's still great.
- 26:22Speaker 1: And what else they get they also get on Monday,
- 26:25Speaker 1: you get the book club five days early. Yeah, and
- 26:29Speaker 1: you're also going to be getting one more thing of
- 26:33Speaker 1: high value.
- 26:33Speaker 3: Will tell you later in the episode. But Jack, how
- 26:36Speaker 3: is ig question of the week going to.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Work this week? So it is what was a red
- 26:40Speaker 1: flag you missed until after you broke up? We're going
- 26:43Speaker 1: to read it, and then we're going to say whether
- 26:45Speaker 1: or not we think that it was an easy miss
- 26:49Speaker 1: or you chose to miss it.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Oh, love is very blinding. Love can be blinding, to
- 26:55Speaker 3: be fair, what's the show Love is blind?
- 26:57Speaker 1: Is that?
- 26:58Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 26:58Speaker 1: Loves Blinders?
- 26:59Speaker 3: The show is that the one where like they two
- 27:01Speaker 3: sides of a Wall.
- 27:02Speaker 1: I've never watched it, but I do ge.
- 27:03Speaker 3: What it is. Yeah, I've seen that once.
- 27:05Speaker 1: I've listened to podcasts that do like a synopsis on it.
- 27:09Speaker 1: It sounds juicy.
- 27:10Speaker 3: I've watched Open the second season that came out and
- 27:13Speaker 3: then up to like six or seven, and there's some
- 27:16Speaker 3: toxic men in that day they think they're the ship.
- 27:20Speaker 3: It's so funny. I do you think it's insane? Yeah. Concept,
- 27:23Speaker 3: there's like a dude in it, like trying to figure
- 27:25Speaker 3: out like if the girl is like, so, what do
- 27:28Speaker 3: you look like? Yeah, he's like trying to get decipher
- 27:31Speaker 3: whether or not she's hot.
- 27:32Speaker 1: And I remember the I remember that massive thing on
- 27:36Speaker 1: the radio where there was a girl that said, oh,
- 27:38Speaker 1: some people say look like Megan Fox and he goes damn,
- 27:42Speaker 1: and then like the wall opens up and he goes.
- 27:48Speaker 3: To be fair if I was a girl or someone
- 27:50Speaker 3: even if I was the dude and I was on that
- 27:51Speaker 3: show like I'll take the piss. Oh yeah, yeah, you
- 27:54Speaker 3: see Dwyne Johnson.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Yeah, like something to score. Have you read a chord
- 28:02Speaker 1: of missed and fury?
- 28:03Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 28:03Speaker 1: Some say I give recent vibes to be fair.
- 28:06Speaker 3: That's a green flag that you've read.
- 28:07Speaker 1: That true if I read that book, that's right? Athing yeah, yeah, okay,
- 28:11Speaker 1: all right, you kick things off. Okay, So it was
- 28:13Speaker 1: a red flag you missed until after you broke up.
- 28:17Speaker 1: He took better care of his hair than I did,
- 28:21Speaker 1: and that was a red flag? Is that a red flag?
- 28:26Speaker 3: I feel like that's good hygiene. I would miss that.
- 28:30Speaker 3: I missed that.
- 28:30Speaker 1: I would I think you're easy miss.
- 28:33Speaker 3: But what does that tell you? So he cared more
- 28:35Speaker 3: about himself than her? Is that Is that what it
- 28:38Speaker 3: alluded to? I don't know.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Because he took better care of his hair than she
- 28:41Speaker 1: took of her hair.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Was that a shot at herself? Yeah?
- 28:47Speaker 1: Maybe he's just feel self absorbed.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that's what it is. That's the takeaway. Maybe. Yeah.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Also, I mean, easy miss, you can't be mad about
- 28:57Speaker 1: you can't be mad about a man want healthy hair?
- 28:59Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, what's a red flag you missed until after
- 29:02Speaker 3: you broke up? He only talked about himself when meeting
- 29:07Speaker 3: my family and not asking about them. I hate people
- 29:11Speaker 3: who do that.
- 29:12Speaker 1: By the way, I'm gonna say, easy miss, I pick
- 29:15Speaker 1: up on those things. I think easy miss, depending on
- 29:20Speaker 1: how your family that's self like absorbed again, Yeah, it's
- 29:23Speaker 1: absorbed for you, depending on how your family was acting.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Maybe if they're asking heaps of questions about him. Yeah,
- 29:32Speaker 3: because that's an easy miss. Though I think it easy.
- 29:35Speaker 3: I would pick up on it personally, but I do
- 29:36Speaker 3: think it's an easy miss. I think, but I walk
- 29:38Speaker 3: away from conversations sometimes and I'm just like, oh, like,
- 29:41Speaker 3: I'll just talk the whole time. Not that I wanted
- 29:43Speaker 3: to go on me all the time, but you're kind
- 29:44Speaker 3: of just like, well, that wasn't very nice.
- 29:46Speaker 1: I am with new conversations, like new conversations with new people,
- 29:50Speaker 1: I prefer not to talk about myself Sam, And I
- 29:54Speaker 1: don't know if it's because maybe in the past I
- 29:55Speaker 1: used to.
- 29:56Speaker 3: I don't.
- 29:56Speaker 1: I've never really had any of those moments where I'm like, wow,
- 29:58Speaker 1: I just spoke about me the whole time. But I
- 30:00Speaker 1: think conversations are easier when I ask questions.
- 30:03Speaker 3: I like fifty to fifty though, Yeah, tit for tat
- 30:06Speaker 3: tup vibes. Yeah, I reflect on what you said now
- 30:09Speaker 3: my two cents about me. I don't know. That's what
- 30:12Speaker 3: I like.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I just find it so much easy to just
- 30:14Speaker 1: ask questions, Like it depends how much I like them too?
- 30:16Speaker 1: Tell me more.
- 30:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I actually don't care.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Like yeah, Actually, you know, what's a good point when
- 30:22Speaker 1: I'm doing When I'm doing the thing where I'm asking questions,
- 30:26Speaker 1: so I'm asking them, he's the questions, so they keep
- 30:28Speaker 1: talking about themselves. That is actually me, I think being
- 30:31Speaker 1: not very interested. Oh ye, one hundred percent.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Yeah, it depends what you're talking to it. For sure,
- 30:36Speaker 3: I'm learning stuff about myself. I think these are going
- 30:38Speaker 3: to be pretty hard to pick up on.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Okay, what was a red flag you missed until after
- 30:43Speaker 1: you broke up? His only qualification was his birth certificate?
- 30:50Speaker 3: Easy miss, easy miss, bro very easy miss. What qualifications
- 30:54Speaker 3: do I have? I've only got a personal training three
- 30:57Speaker 3: and four in fitness. That's pretty good.
- 31:00Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure the only qualification I have is SIRT
- 31:01Speaker 1: three in carpentry.
- 31:03Speaker 3: Yeah. It's funny how you're sir, takes so much longer
- 31:06Speaker 3: than a personal trainer degree. Yeah, four years degree. I
- 31:09Speaker 3: don't know, sounds cool when I say.
- 31:10Speaker 1: It's a tape cause.
- 31:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Unbeknownst to the answer, it's a tape cause certification.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, cool, cool cool. Anyway, what's a red flag
- 31:21Speaker 3: you missed to Arthur, you broke up him telling me
- 31:24Speaker 3: his friends would have broken up with me if they
- 31:26Speaker 3: were in his shoes. I think you chose to miss that. Yeah,
- 31:33Speaker 3: what if you can't see that? One hurts? Who says
- 31:38Speaker 3: that if mys were in this situation, man, I would
- 31:42Speaker 3: break up, They would break up with you.
- 31:45Speaker 1: So so he's always manipulating.
- 31:47Speaker 3: You are making him seem like he's being generous speaking
- 31:52Speaker 3: around thank you for staying with me. Yeah, that's when
- 31:55Speaker 3: you say up yours. I've always wanted to do that,
- 31:59Speaker 3: like in I don't have the confidence, but like a situation,
- 32:01Speaker 3: but yours.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I would only do it from a one hundred
- 32:05Speaker 1: meter distance, so i could run.
- 32:06Speaker 3: When you're walking away, and I've got a big enough
- 32:08Speaker 3: gap that I can make it sure if you've had
- 32:10Speaker 3: a public argument with anyone, neither no, no, yeah, confrontation,
- 32:16Speaker 3: I can't do it. Fuck that.
- 32:18Speaker 1: What was a red flag you missed until after you
- 32:20Speaker 1: broke up? I wasn't allowed to meet his parents at all?
- 32:26Speaker 3: Girl. Yeah, I've just seen that one.
- 32:28Speaker 1: I think you chose to miss that.
- 32:31Speaker 3: Sorry. Oh yeah, it's such a good sign. Or it's
- 32:36Speaker 3: a red flag on both fronts that he doesn't one
- 32:39Speaker 3: I don't know, think you're worthy of meeting his parents? Yeah,
- 32:43Speaker 3: or probably the more likely one is he has a
- 32:46Speaker 3: terrible relationship with his parents, which is also a red.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Flag depending on what they did to him. Either or
- 32:52Speaker 1: but if, like, if he had a good reason and
- 32:55Speaker 1: it was and the reason was because he has a
- 32:56Speaker 1: bad relationship with his parents because of them, he would say.
- 32:59Speaker 3: That, yeah, yeah, exactly. Yeah, what was the red flag
- 33:02Speaker 3: you missed until after you broke up? The snapchats from
- 33:06Speaker 3: girls weren't just his friends? Damn?
- 33:10Speaker 1: Oh I I okay. I think it's an easy miss
- 33:14Speaker 1: for a lot of people. But I'm going to say, like,
- 33:19Speaker 1: for me, that is you're choosing to miss it.
- 33:23Speaker 3: I agree, because first red flag is it's on snapchat.
- 33:27Speaker 3: Ooh facts. Yeah yeah, what are you doing talking on that?
- 33:30Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 33:30Speaker 3: Yeah unless it's a group chat, yeah, with your friends.
- 33:34Speaker 3: You should have seen that. I don't know, I feel
- 33:37Speaker 3: like snapchats for like, I don't know, tuning.
- 33:40Speaker 1: I think I got a toxic part of me that
- 33:42Speaker 1: thinks than tuning young Shing. I think I have a
- 33:46Speaker 1: toxic part of me that thinks for some reason, So
- 33:50Speaker 1: if Beth had a bunch of friends that were guys,
- 33:52Speaker 1: and she always was talking to them. Yeah, I don't
- 33:55Speaker 1: know if it's like, I don't think it's insecurity. I
- 33:57Speaker 1: just think why, I'm sorry, I just think it's a
- 34:00Speaker 1: red flag. I don't know why.
- 34:01Speaker 3: What do you think We've talked about this before. I
- 34:06Speaker 3: think it comes across slightly as an insecurity on your part. Yeah,
- 34:12Speaker 3: but also one on one yes, but groups. I don't
- 34:17Speaker 3: know just why?
- 34:19Speaker 1: But why? And is it fair? I know she feels
- 34:23Speaker 1: the same. I don't want to put it to be fair.
- 34:25Speaker 1: I don't want to put wors in her mouth, but
- 34:26Speaker 1: I think she feels the same.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. It depends how frequently too, Like
- 34:30Speaker 3: occasionally I think it's completely fine. But if it's occasionally, yeah,
- 34:33Speaker 3: if it's like the amount you and I talk, I'd
- 34:35Speaker 3: be like, what's going on here?
- 34:36Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. Though, it's like the if it
- 34:38Speaker 1: was constant, yeah, yeah, once a month, I don't give
- 34:40Speaker 1: a shit about it. But if it was constant, I'd
- 34:42Speaker 1: be like, why, I need a better reason than you're
- 34:45Speaker 1: just friends?
- 34:46Speaker 3: Yeah? True? Hmm. I'm thinking about like what a male
- 34:51Speaker 3: friend might offer to a relationship other than romantics, and
- 34:57Speaker 3: I'm thinking like it depends the context of the talking
- 35:01Speaker 3: because sometimes men stereotypically are really helpful with jim advice.
- 35:05Speaker 3: But also does that what ask me? Yeah, it's true,
- 35:14Speaker 3: I'm thinking of the context of the conversations, Okay, And
- 35:19Speaker 3: depends on that because I know Cassie before we met,
- 35:22Speaker 3: had a friend from Sydney and he was very much
- 35:24Speaker 3: into fitness. That's what I was thinking about and I've
- 35:27Speaker 3: found it fine, so it dissipated once we started dating. Fair,
- 35:31Speaker 3: But I don't know. It's a good question.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know an answer to why I feel
- 35:36Speaker 1: like that, but I just think why. That's all I
- 35:39Speaker 1: think is why.
- 35:40Speaker 3: Well, I think if you've met him, then it's fine
- 35:43Speaker 3: because you can gauge someone from being in person with
- 35:45Speaker 3: them their intentions. Yeah, how they're looking at you, girl,
- 35:48Speaker 3: a better judgment if they're harmless or trying to get
- 35:51Speaker 3: in at pance.
- 35:52Speaker 1: That's so fair. What was a red flag you missed
- 35:55Speaker 1: until after you broke up? He asked his mum to
- 35:58Speaker 1: put sunscreen on his back when I sitting right there.
- 36:03Speaker 3: That's an egg. How did you miss that? You should
- 36:06Speaker 3: have seen that? Yeah, mate, that is one of the
- 36:11Speaker 3: best things about having a girlfriend. Yeah, just be getting
- 36:14Speaker 3: some burn. Okay, what's the red flag you missed? Until
- 36:17Speaker 3: after you broke up? He said hugs were too cringe?
- 36:21Speaker 1: What had you miss that?
- 36:25Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, I don't know how you missed that. And
- 36:28Speaker 3: also you're missing out on hugs. What's the point of
- 36:32Speaker 3: being in a related to me?
- 36:33Speaker 1: Apparently huggs of cringe? Bro mm hmm. He used to
- 36:37Speaker 1: write in his notes saying, quote high journal and write
- 36:41Speaker 1: some shit about me.
- 36:42Speaker 3: It was weird.
- 36:45Speaker 1: How did you miss that?
- 36:46Speaker 3: I know? I feel like it depends what he was running.
- 36:50Speaker 3: Isn't that kind of healthy? A little bit of an outlet,
- 36:52Speaker 3: was high Journal for his thoughts rather than just like
- 36:56Speaker 3: boxing it up.
- 36:56Speaker 1: Maybe it's not a red flag. Yeah, it depends what.
- 36:58Speaker 3: He was saying. If he was saying like Christina was
- 37:01Speaker 3: being a fucking bitch today, that's a red flag. But
- 37:03Speaker 3: if it was just like, I don't know, me and
- 37:05Speaker 3: Christina went for a walk and she said this and
- 37:07Speaker 3: it hurt my feelings, maybe that's healthy.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I actually don't know if I think this is
- 37:12Speaker 1: a red.
- 37:12Speaker 3: Flag or not. These are actually quite hard to pick
- 37:14Speaker 3: up on. Yeah, and maybe maybe not. Okay, what was
- 37:18Speaker 3: a red flag you missed? Until after you broke up.
- 37:21Speaker 3: He wanted me to in quote, reward him because he
- 37:24Speaker 3: didn't stare at a girl in a bikini? What crazy?
- 37:32Speaker 3: How did you miss that? But then him saying that
- 37:36Speaker 3: means he knows she was there and he looked at her.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Him saying that means he noticed.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Yeah, he shouldn't notice at all. He lied to you.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I hope you didn't give him that reward, and
- 37:47Speaker 1: I hope you left it.
- 37:48Speaker 3: The best thing is as a boyfriend when I don't
- 37:52Speaker 3: know if they're doing it as a test, but like
- 37:54Speaker 3: your girlfriend says, oh she's pretty or something, and you're like,
- 37:57Speaker 3: and you actually didn't see it.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you thought about you. I am the master
- 38:07Speaker 1: of the who Yeah wait, I'm just looking at it.
- 38:13Speaker 1: That's funny. Okay, it was a red flag you missed
- 38:17Speaker 1: until after you broke up. Light up keyboard and gaming
- 38:21Speaker 1: PC in his bedroom.
- 38:23Speaker 3: You chose to miss that girl? Oh yeah, light up PC.
- 38:29Speaker 3: Look I'm for I'm an advocate for gaming in a
- 38:33Speaker 3: healthy manner. Yeah, but light up. I remember when I
- 38:37Speaker 3: was like sixteen, I had I went through that led stage. Yeah.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Actually this is the biggest Heck, I don't think I
- 38:42Speaker 3: should this might be one of the worst things I've
- 38:44Speaker 3: ever told in this podcast, but real, when I was
- 38:46Speaker 3: like fourteen to sixteen, I had a big picture of
- 38:49Speaker 3: Conomcgregor and then light up LEDs underneath it.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I'm so gad, I'm so glad you got rid of
- 38:55Speaker 1: that in my bedroom?
- 38:56Speaker 3: He does not, does it? When did you get rid
- 38:58Speaker 3: of it? I think back end the sea exte Okay, good,
- 39:01Speaker 3: maybe later No, yeah, I changed it to like a
- 39:03Speaker 3: barrel okay, yeah, like a wave ye yeah yeah yeah,
- 39:07Speaker 3: yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, No, he doesn't deserve any airtime. Yeah,
- 39:13Speaker 3: that's a red flag of gil came out even though
- 39:15Speaker 3: it was sixteen.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Greg actually lit up with even though you're sixty and
- 39:19Speaker 1: when at the time, when you were sixteen, he actually
- 39:21Speaker 1: wasn't that bad of a person.
- 39:23Speaker 3: But it does.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Yeah, thinking back on it, you think I.
- 39:26Speaker 3: Should have you know how like when you go to
- 39:28Speaker 3: do the deed with your partner or someone you've brought home,
- 39:31Speaker 3: you might say, let me set the mood, and you
- 39:32Speaker 3: put like a little lamp on or something. You don't
- 39:34Speaker 3: put the full light on. Obviously it's been too bright
- 39:36Speaker 3: middle of the night. Do game of boys say let
- 39:40Speaker 3: me set the mood? And then turn on their busy
- 39:43Speaker 3: and then it's like a rainbow. Why is it always
- 39:47Speaker 3: a rain and then it changes colors when they're doing it.
- 39:50Speaker 3: That's what gets them going.
- 39:50Speaker 1: I don't know my brother in Canada, bro, I have
- 39:54Speaker 1: a feeling my younger brother here does it too. I
- 39:56Speaker 1: don't know if he's done it in Queensland, but my
- 39:58Speaker 1: younger brother in Canada had led sticky back LEDs all
- 40:02Speaker 1: the way around like the perimeter of his ceiling. That
- 40:05Speaker 1: was the only form of light. He would let me, oh,
- 40:08Speaker 1: he's he's like nineteen Oh, but Hilaire, you'd go in
- 40:17Speaker 1: there and it was just a dark blue color and
- 40:21Speaker 1: it just was it. He had the craziest room on
- 40:25Speaker 1: to He probably still does. Okay, is my turn. Yeah,
- 40:32Speaker 1: he was a red What was a red flag? You
- 40:34Speaker 1: missed until after you broke up? He slept on an
- 40:37Speaker 1: air mattress?
- 40:38Speaker 3: Go, how did you miss that? An air match? But
- 40:41Speaker 3: to be fair, love is love. Love is love, cost
- 40:45Speaker 3: of living crisis, Love is love. You can get a
- 40:48Speaker 3: mattress like undred bucks somewhere and.
- 40:51Speaker 1: It's better than an air mat Yeah, but it's kind
- 40:54Speaker 1: of fun. But about a foam one at least a
- 40:55Speaker 1: foe one a bit of bounce. No, the iickiest thing
- 40:58Speaker 1: would be sleeping over at your boyfriend his house and
- 41:00Speaker 1: he has an air mattress and you wake up and
- 41:01Speaker 1: it's deflated.
- 41:03Speaker 3: Well, yeah, it's the worst, or like it squeaks when
- 41:07Speaker 3: he's like sleeping in he moves like bro.
- 41:11Speaker 1: And it's like deflated, and then he has to pump
- 41:13Speaker 1: it up the next mile with his legs and he
- 41:16Speaker 1: doesn't have a pump and he uses his mouth.
- 41:18Speaker 3: Yeah, he's like, was his mouth? What's a red flag
- 41:26Speaker 3: you missed until after you broke up? In quotes, my
- 41:29Speaker 3: ex was crazy.
- 41:32Speaker 1: I mean to be completely honest with you, I'm gonna say,
- 41:35Speaker 1: easy miss, easy miss too manipulation. People don't know, yeah,
- 41:38Speaker 1: but we know.
- 41:40Speaker 3: That means he was making her crazy.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Oh oh it was a quote my axisus. I thought
- 41:47Speaker 1: that she just said that her ex was crazy. I
- 41:49Speaker 1: was like, quote him.
- 41:51Speaker 3: I feel like that's still an easy miss, easy miss.
- 41:53Speaker 3: He forced her to be crazy most likely?
- 41:56Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I dare say, yeah, it was a red
- 41:59Speaker 1: flag you miss sinceill after you broke up.
- 42:03Speaker 3: Oh d I'm sorry.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Twenty five and living at home?
- 42:07Speaker 3: Oh no, no, no, no no. We talked about this
- 42:11Speaker 3: on Patreon. Woh, how can I say this?
- 42:14Speaker 1: How old are you? Twenty four? There you go, hey,
- 42:17Speaker 1: twenty five.
- 42:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I've got less than a month you have, dude,
- 42:21Speaker 3: you have like eleven days. Yeah, it's gonna be fun
- 42:24Speaker 3: on my birthday. Oh, i'd invite you to my birthday.
- 42:26Speaker 3: But it'd be nice.
- 42:26Speaker 1: What are you talking about?
- 42:27Speaker 3: I didn't write this, but you bring it, you picked it.
- 42:30Speaker 3: I just thought i'd but see, even your computer, even
- 42:35Speaker 3: your computer thinks your seriou thinks.
- 42:37Speaker 1: My serious calling Beth right now?
- 42:39Speaker 3: How do I stop that? Yeah? She's going to back
- 42:41Speaker 3: me up.
- 42:41Speaker 1: I don't know. Sorry for the disruption. Fucking hell, that's
- 42:45Speaker 1: just stop to fight my laptop.
- 42:48Speaker 3: I was gonna say, how can I say this in
- 42:50Speaker 3: the least toxic way possible? We said it on Patreon.
- 42:54Speaker 3: If you have the ability to lean on your parents
- 42:58Speaker 3: to get ahead, I think it's healthy.
- 43:01Speaker 1: I'm not judging.
- 43:02Speaker 3: It depends on what context. Though, like not to do
- 43:05Speaker 3: my own horn. I like to think I'm grinding, but like,
- 43:09Speaker 3: if you're doing nothing and then you're leaning on your parents,
- 43:11Speaker 3: no fairfairfair, Yeah, I'm trying to get ahead in life.
- 43:13Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, but even me saying that does
- 43:16Speaker 3: sound slightly toxic narcissistic.
- 43:20Speaker 1: I think that if if you had like zero aspirations
- 43:23Speaker 1: to leave, it'd be a bit different. But I think
- 43:26Speaker 1: that if you're living, so what the difference is. I
- 43:30Speaker 1: want to leave, but I'm waiting for the right time
- 43:33Speaker 1: to make sense financially. Yeah, I know it's kind of hard,
- 43:36Speaker 1: like if my parents, you're moving back into your parents exactly. Yeah,
- 43:39Speaker 1: Beth and I are both gone there in Queensland and
- 43:42Speaker 1: then for like just until we find an area that
- 43:44Speaker 1: we want to live in, rent an apartment like you
- 43:46Speaker 1: fuck that one?
- 43:47Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, fuck that easy miss easy miss?
- 43:52Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, everyone could if you you know what, you
- 43:55Speaker 1: just couldn't easy. You're jealous. Let's make you, let's make it.
- 44:02Speaker 1: I feel crazy, jellous, say that was being toxical. Purpose Alright,
- 44:10Speaker 1: I got.
- 44:11Speaker 3: A crazy one.
- 44:12Speaker 1: I don't know if it's your turn or not, but
- 44:14Speaker 1: this one's wild.
- 44:14Speaker 3: There you go.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Then what was a red flag?
- 44:16Speaker 3: You miss?
- 44:16Speaker 1: Until after you broke up? He kept the receipts from
- 44:19Speaker 1: all of our dates?
- 44:22Speaker 3: What for like to use it against it?
- 44:25Speaker 1: Hey?
- 44:25Speaker 3: He never he might have paid with the business card. No,
- 44:27Speaker 3: I think it was like last year I spent a
- 44:29Speaker 3: thousand dollars on dates.
- 44:30Speaker 1: He just wait until you break up, so he wants half.
- 44:32Speaker 3: Yeah that's crazy. I actually have one similar. What's a
- 44:35Speaker 3: red flag you missed into after you broke up talking
- 44:37Speaker 3: about prenups before we even started dating, before we even
- 44:40Speaker 3: started dating. Yeah, that's a red flag. But easy to miss.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Oh easy miss. I was spoken to best we were
- 44:48Speaker 1: dating when we spoke about prenups. So, yeah, Cassie wants
- 44:51Speaker 1: one more than me. So I was watching this thing.
- 44:55Speaker 1: A prenup is now more to protect. Like a lot
- 44:58Speaker 1: of men want to prenup because they want they want
- 45:00Speaker 1: it to be like I don't want you to give
- 45:02Speaker 1: you anything, right, But a prenup now is actually to
- 45:05Speaker 1: protect the wife if you think about it. Yeah, she's
- 45:09Speaker 1: going to if you guys plan to have kids and
- 45:11Speaker 1: you want her to be a state at her mum
- 45:12Speaker 1: and not go further in her career. First of all,
- 45:16Speaker 1: I think that you should be giving her that you
- 45:19Speaker 1: need to work out.
- 45:20Speaker 3: I've always said, I don't know why, you knowe at
- 45:22Speaker 3: one point, fifty to fifty is so fair. You become
- 45:25Speaker 3: an entity when you get married, Like that's the whole pointasy, Yeah,
- 45:30Speaker 3: I don't get it, neb do I And like the
- 45:32Speaker 3: fact that he it's normally he can overlook a partner
- 45:36Speaker 3: taking so much time out of their career to look
- 45:38Speaker 3: after their kid is such a beautiful thing when we're like, no,
- 45:42Speaker 3: but it's the money. I don't get it.
- 45:43Speaker 1: It's so weird as well, because you have to think
- 45:45Speaker 1: about this, right, you have to think about the fact
- 45:47Speaker 1: that if you break even if you do get a
- 45:49Speaker 1: divorce and you split it fifty to fifty and the
- 45:52Speaker 1: man was the one that worked and got a career
- 45:54Speaker 1: and earned all the money, and the wife stayed home
- 45:55Speaker 1: with the kids. Right, even if it was fifty to
- 45:58Speaker 1: fifty on the split up, it's still technically isn't that
- 46:02Speaker 1: fair when you think about it, the fact that he
- 46:04Speaker 1: gets to leave and still have a career with fifty
- 46:07Speaker 1: percent of everything they earned together. The wife leaves with
- 46:11Speaker 1: no career just to start one, even though she has
- 46:14Speaker 1: fifty percent of the subject together, just to start again.
- 46:16Speaker 1: She's she's behind even with fifty to fifty. Yeah, so
- 46:19Speaker 1: that's another thing you have to think about. And I think, yeah,
- 46:21Speaker 1: people just choose to fucking not think about it. Well,
- 46:23Speaker 1: I think it gets toxic because your emotions get in
- 46:26Speaker 1: the way. Yeah, we're thinking about it logically and they're like, no,
- 46:29Speaker 1: fuck you. I won't ever think no fuck you. Yeah,
- 46:30Speaker 1: I think I'm time president is just like, let's just please,
- 46:33Speaker 1: can we just I feel like.
- 46:34Speaker 3: If God forbid ever happened to me, I'm the type
- 46:35Speaker 3: of person to be like, let's sit down and make
- 46:37Speaker 3: this fifth both Yeah, but take I say that now,
- 46:40Speaker 3: but I don't know say it now you don't know yourself.
- 46:43Speaker 3: And but also if someone did cheat on me Cassie's case,
- 46:46Speaker 3: safe for God, big Cassi teating, I would also be
- 46:48Speaker 3: like fuck you.
- 46:49Speaker 1: You'd be upset, like how could you fucking now? Like
- 46:52Speaker 1: I don't want to give you anything now. Yeah, But
- 46:54Speaker 1: also then you'd also be thinking but still, I mean
- 46:56Speaker 1: you look it. You looked after my kids.
- 46:57Speaker 3: Yeah, but also then if you fell love completely different
- 47:00Speaker 3: yeah compared to cheating.
- 47:02Speaker 1: Yeah, prenups could get messy. I can see that, very messy.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Baddies new and old should we use the word like
- 47:17Speaker 1: veteran baddie?
- 47:19Speaker 3: Nah all bad? Well, that wasn't a good idea. New
- 47:27Speaker 3: and old won't say baddies in general, put some shoes
- 47:30Speaker 3: on you fucking grub, but I'm comfortable you.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Do that all the time.
- 47:34Speaker 3: Whenever someone like puts you in their place, you immediately
- 47:38Speaker 3: pick something out to make them feel bad. Your toxic man.
- 47:44Speaker 1: Hey, we are about to talk about what everyone's here for,
- 47:49Speaker 1: all right, and that is the summer I turned pretty.
- 47:52Speaker 3: The summer I turned pretty.
- 47:54Speaker 1: We watched episodes two to six of season one, two
- 47:57Speaker 1: to six. Jake, the reason we watched episodes two to
- 47:59Speaker 1: six because episode seven is going to be a live
- 48:01Speaker 1: reaction on Patreon.
- 48:02Speaker 3: There I said it a live reaction on the Patreon,
- 48:05Speaker 3: a goggle Box type episode. So we're just going to
- 48:09Speaker 3: watch the whole thing, react, pause it when we feel
- 48:11Speaker 3: like it, and it's on Patreon four five dollars a
- 48:14Speaker 3: month and a yeah, I mean, and if you don't
- 48:20Speaker 3: know what goggle box is, does everyone know what goggle
- 48:22Speaker 3: Box is? You know? Okay? So it's basically like, it's
- 48:25Speaker 3: basically a reaction type video. We play the whole thing
- 48:28Speaker 3: in the background. You watch the whole episode with us.
- 48:30Speaker 3: Jake and I will be in the top right or
- 48:31Speaker 3: top left, and then when we pause and cut, we'll
- 48:33Speaker 3: talk about what happens. And we're going to do it
- 48:36Speaker 3: for every finale of season one, which will be out
- 48:40Speaker 3: every finale of season one, every finale full stop, including
- 48:43Speaker 3: the season including season one, season two, season three.
- 48:47Speaker 1: How many seasons are there going to be or is
- 48:48Speaker 1: it done now?
- 48:49Speaker 3: I don't know. We'll find out, but everyone says get
- 48:51Speaker 3: to season three. So who can make a real informed
- 48:53Speaker 3: decision of team Conrad or Jeremiah and.
- 48:56Speaker 1: I have a team that I'm on already, by the way,
- 48:58Speaker 1: so do I, but we'll do the.
- 49:00Speaker 3: End before we get into it completely. I do want
- 49:03Speaker 3: to say apologies to Conrad because he has a reason
- 49:08Speaker 3: to be depressed. We didn't know that.
- 49:11Speaker 1: We've only wanted.
- 49:12Speaker 3: People having a guard of us and go at us
- 49:14Speaker 3: in the comments, and I was like, to be fair.
- 49:16Speaker 3: The first episode he was jarring and we thought it
- 49:19Speaker 3: was because he wasn't playing footy.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Yeah, you guys, you can't be upset with us for
- 49:22Speaker 1: having watched one episode and then giving our opinion. We
- 49:24Speaker 1: were just giving our opinions as we go. But so
- 49:28Speaker 1: episode two we finished off Episode one, we spoke it up.
- 49:32Speaker 1: So one right last pisode we finished off with her
- 49:35Speaker 1: Belly and Conrad on the beach and Conrad out after
- 49:40Speaker 1: the beach party, Conrad goes as I get some muffins,
- 49:42Speaker 1: and she goes, I got somewhere to be.
- 49:43Speaker 3: I need to go see about a boy about a
- 49:44Speaker 3: whale or something like that, and we were like.
- 49:48Speaker 1: Yeah, season no, episode two.
- 49:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:52Speaker 1: It opens up with her she's rushing to get to
- 49:54Speaker 1: this whale watching thing, gets there, she's trying to give
- 49:57Speaker 1: camp her jumper and doesn't make it.
- 49:59Speaker 3: He's gone.
- 50:00Speaker 1: She goes back, has some brecky and then this episode,
- 50:04Speaker 1: I'm kind of my memory is like a little bit
- 50:07Speaker 1: groggy because I watched them during the week, but it's
- 50:11Speaker 1: she's going to a dead ball yep, right, and the
- 50:14Speaker 1: dead ball is a thing where it's like a coming
- 50:16Speaker 1: of agent thing and they also raise money and there's
- 50:19Speaker 1: a bunch of just like rich girls there and Susannah
- 50:22Speaker 1: Susannah Susannah Susannah, which is comrade in Jeremiah's mum wants
- 50:26Speaker 1: her to go. She goes, fine, I'll do it, and
- 50:29Speaker 1: Belly's going, okay, cool. They need to go find a
- 50:32Speaker 1: bunch of dresses, big massive shopping day on Susanna's credit
- 50:35Speaker 1: card because luckily it has a lot of money, and
- 50:38Speaker 1: she's thinking, shit, I don't know what I'm gonna do.
- 50:40Speaker 1: Belly's kind of not keen, and then Cam comes back
- 50:42Speaker 1: and it's kind of you get to notice, I'm pretty
- 50:47Speaker 1: sure in this episode that Jeremiah and Steven they start
- 50:52Speaker 1: working at the country club and then they Jeremiah is
- 50:57Speaker 1: a lifeguard and Steven's working just behind like the bar
- 50:59Speaker 1: or behind a snash office, and there is this girl
- 51:01Speaker 1: named Gig who's frothing on Jeremiah, and then I don't know,
- 51:05Speaker 1: do you really remember.
- 51:07Speaker 3: Yeah, so that's going on in the background. We find
- 51:09Speaker 3: out they're working Jeremiah's lifeguard, and then it leads on
- 51:12Speaker 3: to they go the boys go drinking or something at
- 51:16Speaker 3: a party and Belly has a date with Cam. They
- 51:18Speaker 3: meet up again and Belly it's her first official date
- 51:22Speaker 3: or something with Cam. Yeah, and they go to a
- 51:25Speaker 3: drive in movie. Oh yes, And then we've start to
- 51:27Speaker 3: see that like Conrad was all pissed and depressed and
- 51:32Speaker 3: he like pushes the boys like let's go.
- 51:34Speaker 1: To fucking so yeah, Conrad, Jeremiah, Steven. They go to
- 51:38Speaker 1: Laurel's book party with the two mums, and Belly's gonna go,
- 51:42Speaker 1: but then she goes nup, so I'm actually gonna go
- 51:44Speaker 1: to a driving movie with Cam, and then they're at
- 51:46Speaker 1: this book party and then Belly's at the movie with Cam,
- 51:49Speaker 1: and then Jeremiah's going, let's get out of it, let's
- 51:52Speaker 1: go somewhere, and then Stephen goes, let's go to the
- 51:54Speaker 1: driving and they're like no, no, no, no no, and
- 51:56Speaker 1: then Conrad goes, you know what, Actually, let's go to
- 51:58Speaker 1: the drive in go. Belly's about to kiss Cam. They
- 52:02Speaker 1: pull up, She's like, shit, shit, shit, looks over, she's like,
- 52:07Speaker 1: looks into the car, and she goes, can you guys leave?
- 52:10Speaker 1: They're laughing, don't be so serious. Belly looks over at
- 52:12Speaker 1: Comrade in the backseat and she's like leave, and then
- 52:16Speaker 1: Comrade goes, okay.
- 52:17Speaker 3: Let's go, and then everyone's kind of like, you told
- 52:19Speaker 3: us to go here.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Yeah. I also think did they go to a party
- 52:23Speaker 1: in episode two?
- 52:25Speaker 3: Now?
- 52:25Speaker 1: It was just that Okay, well, I want to say
- 52:27Speaker 1: episode two was I don't know, it was a bit.
- 52:31Speaker 3: It was all right, you kind of get to see
- 52:33Speaker 3: Conrad and not so much yet, but Jeremiah's feelings towards Belly,
- 52:38Speaker 3: and then anything Conrad touches just goes to shit. We're
- 52:41Speaker 3: finding out.
- 52:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I've noticed even on episode two, Conrad randomly will.
- 52:46Speaker 3: Want to open up about something, and then it's almost
- 52:49Speaker 3: by polo.
- 52:52Speaker 1: Conrad will want to open up about something and then
- 52:55Speaker 1: he'll he'll get interrupted, and then he'll take that interruption
- 52:59Speaker 1: so to her that he just shuts down, which I'm
- 53:02Speaker 1: sorry is the most insane thing ever.
- 53:05Speaker 3: Yeah, and it's also like kind of is jarring me
- 53:09Speaker 3: how much all of them are passing each other around.
- 53:14Speaker 3: I'm like, what is going on here? Especially like the
- 53:17Speaker 3: whole premise of the show.
- 53:19Speaker 1: I am enjoying it.
- 53:20Speaker 3: I'm quite enjoying it. I'm hooked. The whole premise of
- 53:22Speaker 3: the show is Conrad and Jeremiah family friends with Belly
- 53:28Speaker 3: and her family since they're like two, and now they're
- 53:31Speaker 3: trying to get with her. Where's the line here? Okay,
- 53:34Speaker 3: it's cross very fucking Conrad and Jeremiah need to talk
- 53:38Speaker 3: to each other at least once. Yeah, not about fucking
- 53:41Speaker 3: Jeremiah drinking too much milk, about actual shit.
- 53:46Speaker 1: So we've got Conrad is with Nicole, Jeremiah is with
- 53:52Speaker 1: no one, and Belly is with Cam. Stephen is with
- 53:56Speaker 1: a girl named Shayla. And then that's just like kind
- 53:59Speaker 1: of I like Shaylor too. I like Shaylor as well.
- 54:01Speaker 1: This is kind of all just little character acts in
- 54:03Speaker 1: the moment. Okay, so then I'm not gonna go upside
- 54:05Speaker 1: a episode.
- 54:06Speaker 3: I'm just going to go for it. So here's one
- 54:08Speaker 3: scene that annoyed me.
- 54:10Speaker 1: Right, Belly's sweet sixteen have a routine. She's the only
- 54:14Speaker 1: one that has a birthday that every summer. Everyone's birthday
- 54:16Speaker 1: is different times of the year, they always do the
- 54:19Speaker 1: same thing. Everyone gives their presence, right, presence presence, presence
- 54:24Speaker 1: from everyone gets to Conrad. He's got a present to
- 54:27Speaker 1: give her. He has this little thing to give it, right,
- 54:29Speaker 1: and they go, Comrade, what'd you get her? And he
- 54:31Speaker 1: goes puts in his poock. He's like, oh sorry, I forgot.
- 54:35Speaker 3: Why. He's like ashamed of his emotions in front of everyone,
- 54:39Speaker 3: where Jeremiah at the moment will own it legit bro. Yeah,
- 54:43Speaker 3: he's showing everyone. So Jeremiah is too confident, but it's
- 54:46Speaker 3: good at the moment.
- 54:47Speaker 1: All season one is is emotions towards Conrad. Right, Jeremiah
- 54:56Speaker 1: showing emotions towards Belly. Belly leaves can First of all,
- 55:01Speaker 1: I'm team Cam through and through. Yes, how about fuck
- 55:04Speaker 1: Jeremiah and fuck Conrad. I am team Cam that boy.
- 55:09Speaker 1: To be fair, she let him down in a good way,
- 55:11Speaker 1: like was honest with him, but didn't deserve what he got.
- 55:15Speaker 3: Nice guys do finish last Cam.
- 55:17Speaker 1: Certainly it was a green flag. Oh my god, he
- 55:20Speaker 1: was boring and I loved it.
- 55:22Speaker 3: Conrad's screams toxic. So Jeremiah at the moment, to be fair,
- 55:26Speaker 3: screams green flag at the moment, but I assume something
- 55:28Speaker 3: toxic's gonna happen. Oh crazy.
- 55:31Speaker 1: So we find out that the reason Conrad is all
- 55:34Speaker 1: in the grumps is because his mum has cancer, doesn't
- 55:37Speaker 1: want to go through chemo and she isn't told anyone yet,
- 55:41Speaker 1: but Conrad found out. Yeah, Jeremiah doesn't know, her husband knows,
- 55:45Speaker 1: and they and it's just all a big, massive shit
- 55:49Speaker 1: show of zero communication between everyone, and for some reason
- 55:53Speaker 1: it's entertaining. It's so toxic.
- 55:54Speaker 3: But my favorite character is Belly's mum, especially when she
- 55:57Speaker 3: had sex with the other author in the car. I
- 56:00Speaker 3: was like she is.
- 56:01Speaker 1: That night after the fire, she goes to a bar,
- 56:04Speaker 1: gets drunk, runs into the author his name's Cleveland Costello
- 56:07Speaker 1: or something like that, has sex with them in her car.
- 56:10Speaker 1: Best fucking scene of the whole fucking show.
- 56:13Speaker 3: I love Laurel. You know who else I love?
- 56:15Speaker 1: At the moment is so Taylor's first visit to the
- 56:19Speaker 1: summer house. I didn't like her, But now Taylor's second
- 56:23Speaker 1: visit to that summer house.
- 56:24Speaker 3: Where they play volleyball, and she knows who she is.
- 56:26Speaker 1: She knows exactly who she is, and she knows what
- 56:28Speaker 1: she's doing. So about two days before this, Jeremiah has
- 56:32Speaker 1: come in and confessed his feelings to Belly all right,
- 56:36Speaker 1: and I was like, what the hell? Okay, they kiss,
- 56:40Speaker 1: they don't talk about it for a few days. He's like,
- 56:43Speaker 1: I want to talk about it. Belly's like, okay, yeah,
- 56:45Speaker 1: maybe after the tournament. And then Taylor knows everything, and
- 56:48Speaker 1: I was like, this is obviously Season one is where
- 56:51Speaker 1: teams came into play. Like season episode one, you don't
- 56:53Speaker 1: choose a team yet, this is where you start choosing
- 56:55Speaker 1: the team. Because she goes fuck Conrad because Conrad asks
- 56:59Speaker 1: Belly to if he can escort her to the dead
- 57:01Speaker 1: ball because she doesn't have an escort yet, and it's
- 57:03Speaker 1: because his mum asked him to, but he actually wants
- 57:06Speaker 1: to do it, even though he's dating this girl Nicole
- 57:08Speaker 1: who Belly is friends Tyler around so much. Belly is
- 57:11Speaker 1: friends with and also going to the dead ball. And
- 57:15Speaker 1: so Jeremiah is like, I've loved you for a long time.
- 57:18Speaker 1: I've you're my best friend. I've wanted it, we wanted
- 57:20Speaker 1: it to be more at times. Could you ever see
- 57:22Speaker 1: that happening? Belly goes yes. They kiss. A few days later,
- 57:24Speaker 1: he's trying to talk about it.
- 57:25Speaker 3: She goes, no, no, no, no no.
- 57:27Speaker 1: They go to this Taylor comes, she's Belly's volleyball partner.
- 57:30Speaker 1: They're going a volleyball tournament. Taylor pretends to sprain her ankle.
- 57:33Speaker 1: She goes, oh, Jeremiah, can you play for me? For Belly.
- 57:36Speaker 1: He comes in and she winks at him like I'm
- 57:38Speaker 1: team Jelly, And I was like, sick, Taylor, You're Jelly.
- 57:41Speaker 3: Fucking love Taylor. I love how she's like manipulating this.
- 57:44Speaker 1: It's hilarious. And then and I also love that she
- 57:47Speaker 1: just loves Belly.
- 57:48Speaker 3: Yeah, and then BELLI Wheremiah Belly jarred me and his
- 57:51Speaker 3: volleyball so sorry, it's for fucking charity, and she's pissed.
- 57:56Speaker 1: Jeremiah sucks at volleyball. Yeah, he's having fun but yeah,
- 57:58Speaker 1: She's like, Jeremiah's sorry, get out, Conrad, I need you
- 58:01Speaker 1: in here. Then they win, of course, oh freaking hell.
- 58:06Speaker 1: So then that night, Belly Taylor going Nicole's dad's boat
- 58:11Speaker 1: to do some drinking, and then they get into a
- 58:13Speaker 1: little bit of a hold your finger down if you've
- 58:15Speaker 1: done this, hold your finger if down, if you've done this,
- 58:16Speaker 1: hold your finger down if you've kissed Jeremiah. Belly puts
- 58:19Speaker 1: her finger down. Everyone goes, who tell us everything? Nicole's like,
- 58:21Speaker 1: I thought you always had a thing for comrade, and
- 58:23Speaker 1: I thought he had a thing for you.
- 58:24Speaker 3: Oh no, no, no, no no.
- 58:25Speaker 1: Then they go put your finger down if you have
- 58:28Speaker 1: a skinny dipped and then someone goes, is that a challenge? Yes,
- 58:31Speaker 1: let's go dang Stephen, Jeremiah, Conrad or all. At a
- 58:35Speaker 1: party while the girls are skinny dipping, Conrad texts Belly,
- 58:38Speaker 1: I know my mum told me to ask you to
- 58:39Speaker 1: the devil, but I actually asked you because I really
- 58:41Speaker 1: do want to go with you. Nicole sees that text
- 58:43Speaker 1: before Belly sees it. Nicole and all the girls leave,
- 58:46Speaker 1: Taylor and Belly skinny dipping without any clothes. They drive
- 58:49Speaker 1: off Taylor's like, I knew they were bitches. I love
- 58:52Speaker 1: Taylor because now she's got a price on there.
- 58:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 58:55Speaker 1: And then and then Nicole drives straight to Conrad and goes,
- 58:59Speaker 1: I saw that text, fuck you. I kind of like how.
- 59:01Speaker 1: Conrad goes, sorry, Yeah, I mean to be honest, I'm sorry,
- 59:04Speaker 1: but it is what it is. And then Belly calls
- 59:07Speaker 1: Jeremiah to come pick her and Taylor up, and they do,
- 59:10Speaker 1: but Conrad's also there because Dick Cole gives Conrad the
- 59:12Speaker 1: clothes because your girlfriend's gonna need this. You and your
- 59:15Speaker 1: little girlfriend are gonna need these clothes. They drive. Taylor goes,
- 59:18Speaker 1: the fuck are you doing here, Conrad, and he's like
- 59:19Speaker 1: Nicole told me. They get dressed, Taylor gets in Conrad's car,
- 59:23Speaker 1: Belly gets in Jeremiah's car. Conrad says to Taylor, crazy night.
- 59:27Speaker 1: And then and then Taylor goes, yeah, it didn't have
- 59:30Speaker 1: to be, but then you messaged her. Every time you
- 59:32Speaker 1: message her, shit goes down. Fucking leave her alone, and
- 59:35Speaker 1: it was like facts, Taylor, facts, Taylor, Belly and Jeremiah
- 59:40Speaker 1: driving home, Belly goes, can you pull over? He bulls over.
- 59:43Speaker 1: They start making out. She puts his hand on her boot.
- 59:46Speaker 3: Props to Jeremiah too a you're okay with this? Yeah?
- 59:49Speaker 3: He asked the consent. Love that why was everyone saying
- 59:51Speaker 3: team Conrad.
- 59:53Speaker 1: Now, hop skip jump. We missed a lot of stuff,
- 59:56Speaker 1: but there's a lot of info.
- 59:57Speaker 3: Yeah, so you guys know what we know and we
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: know you know it ended on Conrad. And then then
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: messages Belly at night and says you up, you up,
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: you fucking up. And then they go down to the
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: pier and then she basically says it's too late. When
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: he confesses all of his feelings for her, he.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Gives her the present that he was going to give.
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: Necklace, and then she's just like, it's too late, and
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: then the episode ends.
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: So I.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Feel bad for Conrad. I actually do. I do think
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: that he's a terrible communicator, and I do think that
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: everything he touches God just goes to shit.
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Yeah, But the reason that he's keeping everything in especially
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: because the whole reason he is super depressed because he
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: knows his mum as cancer. He knows she's dying, and
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: he knows that she doesn't want to do anything about it,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: and she's accepted her death. She doesn't want to try,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: and so he's upset about it. So the reason he
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: doesn't want to tell his brother, or tell anyone, or
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: tell even her that he knows is because it'll break her.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: And then it's going to feel real, and he's going
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: to be the reason it became aim real. He's going
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: to be the he's going to be the reason that
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: everyone ends up finding out and he's going to feel
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: guilty about it. Right, he shouldn't feel like that like
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: he does. He can't control that. So I personally, I
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: do like the show.
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: I like it.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: That's told me that season two acting gets a lot better.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: She said, it feels like they did season one and
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: they just kind of threw these kids into these roles
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: and then once it got a good amount of views,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: they thought, fuck it, we got to give the kids
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: some acting coaching. Okay, so she said season two gets
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: a lot better.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: It really really. I currently season three is like them
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: ten years in the future. Yeah, which is cool.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Apparently, now I have a controversial take. I'm tim comrade
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: team Conrad. Really, please don't hate me, But what's the
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: reasoning At this point in time? He's toxic, can't communicate
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: fair enough. We found out why he's sad, very.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: Fair, but also he's just reflecting all of his emotions
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: onto everyone around him. I cannot tell you why, but
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: I am just feeling about it.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: I just deep down think that Conrad is who Belly
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: should be with for some reason. I think that Jon
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: thinks she should be with any of them. If she's
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: going to be with either of them, I.
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: Don't think Jeremiah. Here great point for my.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: I can't ship them. I can't ship Belly and Jeremiah,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: but I can ship Belly and Conrad, and I genuinely
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: for some reason, and I please nobody hate me, but
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: I am on team Conrad since season one.
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: Okay, right now I'm team Jeremiah, but my prediction what's
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: going to happen will change my opinion. But right now
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: I'm Jeremiah through and through, because I think what's going
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: to happen is eventually Jeremiah will find out about the cancer,
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: and how he will react is getting drunk heaps and
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: partying all the time, and he's gonna cheat on Belly,
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: and then Conrad's going to be there to console Belly,
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: and then you're going to go back to Keller. So
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: that's what I think is gonna happen, but fucking Conrad
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: and Jeremiah, the brothers need to fucking talk. Those two.
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: They just see him like two bullfeads. And then Jeremiah
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: the other day at the party came up to him.
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: He's like, oh, you've been noticing anything about mum, And
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: then Conrad's just like, yes, he's just tired, he's been
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: noticing things. And she's like, yeah, it's just summer. She's
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: busy in summer.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Yeah, she sleeps on her vacations.
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: All right, yeah to you right now. But overall, feelings
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: very intricate. I'm addicted to it though, yeah, and I'm
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: glad it gets better. There's a couple of cringe moments
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: in there, but it's kind of like I'm invested. I'm
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: very invested in the story arc.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: That's made a good point to me because I said
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: to her, I was like, look, don't at me, but
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: I'm team Conrad for some reason, I cannot tell you why.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: I just have this gut feeling. So because everything about
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: Jeremiah screamed green flag. Yeah, he's emotionally available, he wants
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: to talk about his feelings. He's open to talk about it,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: like he'll say how he feels in the moment. He
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: says to Belly like I want you. He wants to
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: talk about it, right, And Conrad's the complete opposite. Like
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Jeremiah is stability, Conrad is instability.
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: But I just instability is hot. Just let's finish on
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: Belly too. She doesn't know what she wants, No, she
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: needs to figure that out first. He's just like I
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: wanted Conrad my whole life. And then then bloody Jeremiah
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: comes along says I love you, and he's like, oh,
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: I love you too. Stop kissing people if you don't
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: know how you feel. Belly, figure it out. Yeah, Actually
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: I quite like BELLI Yeah, I do like it. And
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: you can see like how she's getting more confident in herself,
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: which is very cool to see, Like the girl girlhood
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: side of things is very cool. Yeah, to see her
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: come into her womanhood, I guess. The only thing, Yeah,
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: one thing I don't like about Comrade is there he
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: just like made her lose all her friends. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: But overall feeling good, excited, and we're going to finish
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: the season on Patreon with a gogalbox type episode.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: All right, guys, time for comments. All Right, I'm gonna
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna go on the topics the summer return pretty.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: Someone said it was xx Grace x O. Season one
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: of the summer I Turned Pretty is definitely the most
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: cringe slash childish, but definitely stick to it as the
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: show gets very intricate and older demographic. Overall, the show
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: is just an easy watch and hits for all age groups.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Her again, and she said you better put some respect
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: on Conrad's name. So she's watched all of it. I
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: dare say we're in training in the right direction. Someone said,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: I hope you guys stick to it and watch all
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: the seasons. It's such a good show. It's so much
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: more than just a teeny bopper romance. Also hashtag team Conrad.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: That was Chinchilla ranch. It's Chelsea Marie team Conrad all
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: the way, but a single team Jeremiah.
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: It's where we're at though. But also it is an
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: easy watch. It is an easy watch. Okay, my comment
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: is from Spotify. If you want to get your comment
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: read out loud, just comment in the episode you're watching
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: and we might get to it. I'm going to say
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: Geada Jenna said I was eating whilst watching this and
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: almost choked to death to when Oddie replied in quotes,
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: condoms at Jake, how do you get those fuckers to
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: stop doing that shit? That was funny, very funny. That's funny.
