  book of Exodus. And you know, how I said that

  this book is all about God's presence world.

  Today, God steps in to the living, Physical Realm, that we

  We all live in. We see how he comes down and has
• 0:45
  a conversation with Moses and says, oy mate, you and me, let's
• 0:49
  go and do something. So this is a pretty cool day
• 0:52
  where we get to hear how he steps into time and space to
• 0:57
  enact his his rescue plan, for his people who are in a world of
• 1:02
  pain. So without any further Ado,
• 1:05
  let's read it. Let us read Exodus chapter 3.

  One day Moses was tending, the flock of his father-in-law
• 1:24
  Jethro, the priest of Midian, he led the flock far into the
• 1:29
  Wilderness and came to Sinai the Mountain of God there.

  The angel of the Lord appeared to him in a blazing fire from
• 1:36
  the middle of a Bush. Moses stared in amazement that
• 1:41
  the Bush was engulfed in flames. It didn't burn up.

  This is amazing. Moses said to himself, why?

  Isn't that bush burning up? I must go see.

  When the Lord saw Moses coming to take a closer look, God

  Called to him from the middle of the Bush, Moses.

  Moses here I am. Moses replied, do not come any

  closer, the Lord warned. Take off your sandals for you

  and honey, the land, where the Canaanites Hittites amorites

  perizzites, the hivites and jebusites live.

  Now, look The Cry of the people of Israel has reached me and I

  have seen how harshly the Egyptians abused them.

  Now go for. I am sending you to pharaoh.

  Pharaoh, you must lead My People Israel out of Egypt.

  But Moses protested to God. Who am I to appear before

  pharaoh? Who am I to lead the people of
• 3:36
  Israel out of Egypt? God answered, I will be with you
• 3:43
  and this is your sign that I am. The one who has sent you.

  When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship

  God at this very Mountain, but Moses protested, if I go to the

  people of Israel and tell them the god of your ancestors has

  sent me to you. They will ask me.

  God replied to Moses. I am who I am say this to the

  Egypt will not. Let you go, unless a mighty hand

  strike the Egyptians performing all kinds of Miracles among

  them. Then at last he will let you go

  and I will cause the Egyptians to look favorably on you.

  They will give you gifts when you go so that you will not

  leave empty-handed every Israelite.

  Women will ask for articles of silver and gold and fine.

  Clothing from her Egyptian neighbors, and from the foreign
• 6:24
  women in their houses, you will dress your sons and daughters
• 6:29
  with these stripping the Egyptians of their wealth.
• 6:44
  You are a sovereign, God you rule on high and the Earth is
• 6:50
  Yours to command. As you see fit.

  Father, your majesty is just so far beyond the bounds that we
• 7:00
  could possibly ascribe to it. And here we are with our little
• 7:05
  human brains unable to Fathom your greatness but we
• 7:10
  acknowledge that you are great, beyond our imaginations.
• 7:16
  Thank you that you bring your greatness here into our story
• 7:22
  and you love us. And you call us as our father to
• 7:27
  come to be with you. We love you and we worship you.
• 7:33
  That's in the name of Jesus, that we pray.
