- 0:01Speaker 1: Jeremy, Katie, and Josh.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Mix 100.
- 0:04Speaker 3: I got good news for the coffee drinkers this morning
- 0:07Speaker 3: as you're probably getting ready to head off to work
- 0:08Speaker 3: and school.
- 0:10Speaker 4: The Old American Heart.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Association is saying that about five cups of coffee a
- 0:16Speaker 3: day is still within the safe range for most adults.
- 0:22Speaker 4: Katie, have you blown past that this morning?
- 0:25Speaker 2: I think I'm pretty close to it, honestly. Yeah, this
- 0:28Speaker 2: is probably at the end of this will be cup five.
- 0:31Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Good for me, then, right?
- 0:33Speaker 6: Good for you.
- 0:33Speaker 1: It's good for your heart.
- 0:35Speaker 3: They say that people who drink that much coffee have
- 0:38Speaker 3: a lower risk of stroke and a lower risk of
- 0:41Speaker 3: developing the diabetes.
- 0:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 0:45Speaker 3: But there's one caveat. I don't know how much crap
- 0:48Speaker 3: you put in it. But this is saying it only
- 0:51Speaker 3: applies to coffee itself. So when you start loading it up.
- 0:54Speaker 4: With all that sugar and syrup.
- 0:57Speaker 1: What about maple syrup? Is that okay? Like the real
- 1:00Speaker 1: maple syrup.
- 1:01Speaker 4: I think you're probably fine. I've switched to the blue agave.
- 1:05Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Which is just a more natural sweetener. Yes.
- 1:08Speaker 3: See? Says my Instagram health plan. I think that's probably fine.
- 1:16Speaker 3: It's the people like my wife.
- 1:18Speaker 4: Bless her heart. Who go and dump the, you know,
- 1:22Speaker 4: hazelnut in there.
- 1:24Speaker 5: The vanilla.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Caramel.
- 1:26Speaker 5: Caramel.
- 1:28Speaker 4: Glug, glug, glug, glug.
- 1:29Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:30Speaker 5: Oh, it needs more. Glug, glug, glug, glug.
- 1:33Speaker 3: But that truly is kind of like her only vice
- 1:35Speaker 3: is the flavored coffee creamer.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Let her have it. It's what she's got, you know?
- 1:39Speaker 4: Mama's busy.
- 1:40Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:40Speaker 4: It's the one little perk in her life.
- 1:42Speaker 3: But I will say she tries to get like the
- 1:44Speaker 3: oat milk variety or something that's slightly better, I guess.
- 1:48Speaker 1: She's trying.
- 1:49Speaker 5: Yeah, I guess.
- 1:50Speaker 1: She's trying.
- 1:50Speaker 3: I had a coffee fail this morning, and it kind
- 1:54Speaker 3: of instantly pissed me off.
- 1:56Speaker 6: Oh.
- 1:56Speaker 4: Probably more than it should have. What happened?
- 1:59Speaker 3: So generally every night I get the coffee maker ready,
- 2:01Speaker 3: you know, the water's in it, the grounds are there
- 2:06Speaker 3: in the little thing in the cup ready to rock,
- 2:08Speaker 3: so I just come downstairs and boom.
- 2:09Speaker 4: Fire it up.
- 2:10Speaker 5: Yep.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Well, last night I got it all ready, got the
- 2:12Speaker 4: water in it, all that crap. Come downstairs. I fired
- 2:15Speaker 4: it up. Went and started doing a few things.
- 2:17Speaker 3: And then I came back and I poured myself my
- 2:19Speaker 3: cup of coffee. And it was like it just looked
- 2:22Speaker 3: like really like light colored, dirty water. There was like
- 2:26Speaker 3: no color, dark coffee color to it. I was like,
- 2:29Speaker 3: what the hell is going on?
- 2:31Speaker 4: And I opened it up, the little basket, and I
- 2:33Speaker 4: forgot to put the coffee in it. Oh, no.
- 2:35Speaker 1: It was just brown water.
- 2:36Speaker 3: And my mouth was all ready, and I was tired.
- 2:38Speaker 4: And I was like, instantly set me off. I was
- 2:40Speaker 4: like pissed for the next 45 minutes.
- 2:42Speaker 1: You have to grind your coffee and everything, right?
- 2:45Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:45Speaker 1: So it's like that whole step is a mad step now.
- 2:48Speaker 4: You're like, oh, it takes forever. So hopefully Friday gets
- 2:53Speaker 4: a little better for me.
- 2:54Speaker 1: It will.
- 2:54Speaker 4: Isn't it funny when little things like that set you off?
- 2:56Speaker 1: Oh, especially first thing, because you have your routine.
- 2:59Speaker 3: So I was tailgating people all the way into work.
- 3:01Speaker 3: I was flipping people off.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Take it out on them, right?
- 3:04Speaker 4: I shoved an intern down already this morning. I can
- 3:06Speaker 4: do it, Jer. Damn you, Folgers.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Spork!
- 3:14Speaker 3: It's time for a big 100 sports report.
- 3:17Speaker 4: All right.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Uh, your Denver Broncos are playing a little sports ball
- 3:22Speaker 3: tonight with the hut huts and the flea flickers.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Um, Vikings tonight, I believe, uh, mile high. Uh, it
- 3:29Speaker 4: should be fun.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Bo's not playing. It sounds like a few of the
- 3:32Speaker 3: starters might doesn't matter. Um, My neighbor across the street
- 3:37Speaker 3: is a massive Vikings fan.
- 3:39Speaker 5: Massive.
- 3:39Speaker 4: And I believe he's got a horn, so we'll probably
- 3:41Speaker 4: hear that later.
- 3:42Speaker 5: Oh, is he going to do that?
- 3:43Speaker 4: Skol, Vikings!
- 3:46Speaker 1: I grew up in North Dakota. It's all Packers or Vikings.
- 3:49Speaker 2: So I know a lot of people who bleed purple.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, he's always into his Vikings gear. His email
- 3:57Speaker 4: handle is something about Vikings.
- 3:59Speaker 5: Yeah, he's into it.
- 4:00Speaker 4: So he'll be into it tonight. No, go Broncos.
- 4:03Speaker 5: Go Broncos.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Hut, hut, hut, hut, hut, hut.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Speaking of the NFL, I guess they've officially put a
- 4:10Speaker 3: bullet in the Pro Bowl game.
- 4:14Speaker 4: They're not going to do it anymore.
- 4:15Speaker 3: What? Players are still going to vote on and recognize
- 4:18Speaker 3: 88 Pro Bowlers, but there will no longer be an
- 4:22Speaker 3: AFC versus NFC game anymore, mostly because, well, viewership has fallen.
- 4:29Speaker 3: A couple years ago it was like 7 million viewers
- 4:31Speaker 3: and it dropped to like 2 million.
- 4:33Speaker 5: This has been such a long time coming.
- 4:34Speaker 6: I mean, they turned it into a flag football game.
- 4:37Speaker 5: It's the dumbest thing ever.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Shannon Sharpe's out speaking about it because he says he
- 4:40Speaker 3: blames today's players. They essentially argue so much and they
- 4:44Speaker 3: have stopped taking the game seriously.
- 4:47Speaker 4: They all have destroyed it. So no more Pro Bowl.
- 4:50Speaker 4: That's fine. I didn't watch it anyway. And then finally,
- 4:53Speaker 4: Tom Brady. Listen to this.
- 4:55Speaker 3: He opened a trading card store in California earlier this month,
- 5:00Speaker 3: and within a week, it was robbed.
- 5:03Speaker 4: It's the card vault.
- 5:04Speaker 3: It opened on the 15th, and on the 23rd, somebody
- 5:07Speaker 3: smashed the window and stole more than $ 12, 000 of merch. Now,
- 5:13Speaker 3: he's also got one of these in New York City
- 5:15Speaker 3: as well, and that one got robbed with about $ 10, 000
- 5:18Speaker 3: worth of merch being stolen in that incident.
- 5:21Speaker 4: Somebody's got to beef with Tom Brady. I'm telling you
- 5:24Speaker 4: right now.
- 5:24Speaker 5: Or his ex-wives.
- 5:25Speaker 1: He needs to up his security.
- 5:27Speaker 4: I know, right?
- 5:28Speaker 1: He doesn't have the money for it.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Anyway, so he's in the card game now.
- 5:33Speaker 5: Why not?
- 5:34Speaker 4: Doesn't he have anything else to do, this guy?
- 5:36Speaker 5: He's part owner of the Raiders. You'd think he'd be
- 5:38Speaker 5: doing more.
- 5:38Speaker 4: All right, what else is there?
- 5:40Speaker 6: All right, well, summer is coming to an end, and
- 5:42Speaker 6: so what else is there to do but make a
- 5:44Speaker 6: list of the funniest collegiate teams and their mascots some
- 5:48Speaker 6: of these are hilarious i've never even heard of the
- 5:50Speaker 6: university of delaware the flight the fighting blue hens how
- 5:53Speaker 6: is that scary at all you see santa cruz the
- 5:57Speaker 6: banana slugs hey go banana slugs we love you their
- 6:01Speaker 6: mascot is a literal slug there are some more the
- 6:04Speaker 6: wake forest what is these the uh The Blue Hose.
- 6:08Speaker 4: H-O-S-E.
- 6:09Speaker 5: H-O-S-E.
- 6:10Speaker 4: That was Katie's nickname in high school.
- 6:11Speaker 5: The Blue Hose.
- 6:13Speaker 4: She ate a lot of blueberries.
- 6:14Speaker 5: Wild. We have more. The Ant Eaters. That one is
- 6:18Speaker 5: the Ant Eaters. Like, what is going on?
- 6:20Speaker 6: What do you think University of California, Irvine is coming
- 6:22Speaker 6: up with crazy nicknames like that?
- 6:24Speaker 5: The Billikens, which is St. Louis University. What's a Billiken?
- 6:28Speaker 6: A Billiken is a charm doll that looks like a
- 6:30Speaker 6: cross between a monkey and a troll, Katie.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Oh.
- 6:32Speaker 5: That's what a Billiken is.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Whittier College is the poets.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Hey, go poets.
- 6:37Speaker 5: We love you guys. Go poets. What is this?
- 6:40Speaker 6: And then my favorite of all time is Centurion College
- 6:44Speaker 6: of Louisiana, the gentlemen's team and the ladies' team.
- 6:48Speaker 4: That's it?
- 6:49Speaker 5: That's all they have.
- 6:49Speaker 4: Every ladies' team is the ladies. It sounds classy.
- 6:52Speaker 5: Every men's team is the gentlemen's team.
- 6:54Speaker 4: That's the one I'm on board with.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Pinkies up, right?
- 6:56Speaker 4: All day. The ladies are playing today.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Go ladies.
- 7:01Speaker 4: We've got drama.
- 7:02Speaker 1: We've got Denver talking.
- 7:04Speaker 4: It's the Mile High Hype.
- 7:05Speaker 3: With JKJ.
- 7:06Speaker 5: Legends and icons.
- 7:08Speaker 1: On Mix 100.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it's Hype brought to you by Mountain High Appliance,
- 7:12Speaker 3: where you get amazing savings throughout all their showrooms, whether
- 7:15Speaker 3: you're replacing one appliance or remodeling your entire ding-dang kitchen.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Find top brands and expert advice. Just go to mountainhighappliance.com.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Side note, before we get into the hype, one of
- 7:25Speaker 3: my most favorite things we do in the studio is
- 7:27Speaker 3: when Katie and I are talking about things.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:30Speaker 3: It's a fun little game that we play, and it's
- 7:32Speaker 3: called Was Josh Even Born Yet?
- 7:34Speaker 2: He was three.
- 7:36Speaker 3: We found out. Josh was three when Practical Magic came out.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Huge fan.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Next week, we're giving away tickets to go see Practical
- 7:44Speaker 3: Magic 2 during Katie Crush.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I'm so excited about that.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Yes. So, yes, he was.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:49Speaker 4: And he was three.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Little baby toddler Josh.
- 7:51Speaker 5: Oh, boy.
- 7:52Speaker 3: All right, so CNN is apologizing because they mistakenly aired
- 7:56Speaker 3: a photo of a Dolly Parton impersonator from Las Vegas
- 8:01Speaker 3: instead of the real Dolly during some sort of special
- 8:05Speaker 3: tribute on Tuesday night. They say we regret the error
- 8:09Speaker 3: and apologize to the Parton family.
- 8:12Speaker 4: Probably somebody Josh's age putting together the reel for all that, right?
- 8:16Speaker 4: I thought it was her.
- 8:17Speaker 1: They probably ran it through AI, thought they were good.
- 8:19Speaker 3: The impersonator said, I started getting all these texts from
- 8:23Speaker 3: friends saying that I was on CNN and I couldn't
- 8:26Speaker 3: believe it.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Yeah, honest mistake. I saw the picture. She looks like a.
- 8:31Speaker 4: Total Dolly Parton impersonator. So if you're not familiar with
- 8:34Speaker 4: the original, the OG DP, I can see that mistake.
- 8:38Speaker 3: In CNN's defense, though, didn't Dolly Parton enter a Dolly
- 8:42Speaker 3: Parton lookalike contest at one point and she lost?
- 8:45Speaker 1: And she lost. Yeah, exactly. So a lot of people
- 8:48Speaker 1: look like Dolly, even more than her.
- 8:50Speaker 4: So you know what? Honest mistake.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Speaking of DP, there is a petition right now at change.org.
- 8:56Speaker 3: calling for Nashville International Airport to be renamed Dolly Parton
- 9:01Speaker 3: International Airport. It has surged past 128,000 signatures.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Originally kind of.
- 9:09Speaker 3: A joke from a comedian, but now it's really getting
- 9:12Speaker 3: some legs.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Tennessee State Senator.
- 9:15Speaker 3: I say, I say, Todd Warner has pledged to introduce
- 9:19Speaker 3: legislation supporting the name change and Nashville City Council member
- 9:24Speaker 3: Russ Bradford, whoever the hell that is. announced that he
- 9:28Speaker 3: would sponsor a resolution asking the Metro Nashville Airport Authority
- 9:33Speaker 3: to consider renaming the airport.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I'd be all for it. Why not? I am 100%
- 9:38Speaker 1: on board with this.
- 9:39Speaker 2: And I would go out of my way to fly
- 9:42Speaker 2: into Dolly Parton Airport.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Right.
- 9:44Speaker 2: I know.
- 9:44Speaker 4: Did you fly into Dolly today?
- 9:46Speaker 1: Sure did.
- 9:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Sheryl Crow is out and about saying, yes, this needs
- 9:50Speaker 3: to happen. She's got nothing else to do right now.
- 9:54Speaker 3: There is some sort of law, a bylaw or something
- 9:57Speaker 3: out there, they say that is written. into their legislation
- 10:01Speaker 3: that is prohibiting renaming a facility for someone unless they've
- 10:05Speaker 3: been dead for at least two years.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Oh, that's silly. We don't need that rule to stand.
- 10:09Speaker 3: The airport said, hey, we honored Parton by lighting our
- 10:12Speaker 3: parking garages pink throughout the weekend.
- 10:15Speaker 5: Oh, that's the same.
- 10:16Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly. That's real nice.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Do you see also the story about the latest hurricane.
- 10:23Speaker 4: Is Hurricane Dolly.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Now that just happened. They didn't plan on naming it Dolly,
- 10:29Speaker 1: but yeah.
- 10:29Speaker 4: No time, man.
- 10:30Speaker 3: No time. Six Flags Magic Mountain X2 roller coaster has
- 10:36Speaker 3: been closed since the beginning of July because two women
- 10:39Speaker 3: suffered brain hemorrhages within.
- 10:41Speaker 4: Six days of riding it.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Three neurosurgeons confirmed that the injuries were caused by traumatic
- 10:48Speaker 3: rapid acceleration and deceleration on the ride. They say that
- 10:53Speaker 3: the damage is typically associated with high-speed collisions.
- 10:57Speaker 4: The second rider is in a coma.
- 11:00Speaker 2: What?
- 11:00Speaker 4: That can happen?
- 11:01Speaker 3: They did an investigation, and they uncovered over a dozen
- 11:05Speaker 3: injury reports linked to the X2 coaster, two of them
- 11:08Speaker 3: being fatal... Plus, 70 head and neck complaints logged between
- 11:15Speaker 3: 29 and 22. Six Flags is saying, though, this ride
- 11:19Speaker 3: still meets safety regulations.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Does it, though?
- 11:22Speaker 3: And they declined to address the July incidents. As of
- 11:26Speaker 3: right now, the ride does remain closed.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Good.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Yeah, they might want to rethink that ride if they're
- 11:30Speaker 3: getting this many issues on it.
- 11:32Speaker 1: And really, the story of everything's fine, people are buying that?
- 11:35Speaker 1: There's a woman in a coma!
- 11:37Speaker 5: What?
- 11:38Speaker 4: Typically associated with high speed collisions. It's like riding in
- 11:41Speaker 4: the car with my wife. Rapid acceleration and deceleration.
- 11:46Speaker 3: And real quick, fans of our girl Olivia Rodrigo, you're
- 11:49Speaker 3: going to like this. She's partnered with Taco Bell for
- 11:52Speaker 3: a brand new Baja Blast flavor.
- 11:56Speaker 4: It is called You Seem Pretty Pink for a Baja Blast.
- 12:02Speaker 4: I'm not ordering that. It's too long to say.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Exactly right.
- 12:05Speaker 3: It's the OG Baja Blast with pink lemonade in it.
- 12:08Speaker 3: It's going to come in a custom cup with Olivia's
- 12:10Speaker 3: photo on it. Yet another reason I probably won't order this.
- 12:13Speaker 5: No, it tastes probably good, though.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, and people will absolutely eat that up.
- 12:17Speaker 4: Yeah, because, you know, fat America.
- 12:19Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 12:20Speaker 4: Get in my belly.
- 12:21Speaker 6: You like my.
- 12:22Speaker 5: Fight, Jer? What?
- 12:23Speaker 4: That's right. What else you got?
- 12:24Speaker 1: Hey, this is good news for Colorado. The Colorado Lotto
- 12:27Speaker 1: plus jackpot. Somebody won it right here in Colorado.
- 12:31Speaker 2: It happened at the King Soopers in Conifer.
- 12:33Speaker 1: They hit it really big, too. It was a $ 10. 5
- 12:35Speaker 1: million prize. The cash out for that, $ 5. 2 million.
- 12:40Speaker 5: Good.
- 12:40Speaker 1: That's a chunk of change.
- 12:42Speaker 5: You know what's funny?
- 12:43Speaker 3: I was at my Safeway last night, and I was
- 12:45Speaker 3: standing there at self-checkout, and I was talking to the
- 12:48Speaker 3: woman there. And this guy goes walking by and she goes, hey,
- 12:51Speaker 3: there he is. And I was like, okay, they must
- 12:54Speaker 3: be dating or something.
- 12:55Speaker 4: I don't know. And she looked at me and she said,
- 12:57Speaker 4: that guy just won Powerball. I was like, really?
- 13:00Speaker 3: She's like, yeah, we got a call from the lottery
- 13:02Speaker 3: that said somebody had won a ticket, had a winning
- 13:04Speaker 3: ticket from our Safeway store.
- 13:06Speaker 4: She's like, and it.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Turns out it was the dude that works back there
- 13:09Speaker 3: in the deli. He bought a ticket there and he
- 13:11Speaker 3: won $ 50, 000.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Oh.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Oh, no way.
- 13:14Speaker 4: So I was like, way to go, buddy. And I
- 13:15Speaker 4: was like, that's a lot of cash. I go, not
- 13:17Speaker 4: enough to quit though, huh? And he's like, nope, I'm
- 13:19Speaker 4: still here.
- 13:20Speaker 3: But yeah, I was like, how neat is that? Like
- 13:23Speaker 3: you buy a ticket at your Safeway and then you win.
- 13:25Speaker 3: You got to keep working there.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Make you want to keep working. I mean, that would
- 13:29Speaker 2: make me like my job more.
- 13:30Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 13:31Speaker 1: If I won a $ 50, 000 prize there. Good for you, buddy. Yeah.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Slice me sideways, huh?
- 13:36Speaker 5: There we go.
- 13:37Speaker 1: All right. So, again, congratulations to that lucky person.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:41Speaker 1: And, hey, more good news for Colorado. We are smart
- 13:44Speaker 1: and pretty.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Okay.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:45Speaker 2: A couple studies showing Denver's doing okay. So, WalletHub did
- 13:49Speaker 2: the smartest cities in America. They did, I think, 150
- 13:53Speaker 2: largest metro statistical areas. comparing them across 11 key metrics.
- 13:59Speaker 2: So they looked at people who had at least a
- 14:01Speaker 2: bachelor's degree, the quality of the public school system, and
- 14:04Speaker 2: the size of.
- 14:05Speaker 1: The gender education gap. All of these things were included.
- 14:08Speaker 1: So Denver, we got to number 12.
- 14:12Speaker 4: We're at number 12.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Barely missing the top 10. And then Colorado Springs coming in.
- 14:15Speaker 4: That's as high as we can count.
- 14:16Speaker 1: At number 13. That's a good deal. 150 different cities.
- 14:20Speaker 2: So number 12. That's a pretty good look. And again,
- 14:23Speaker 2: Colorado Springs, number 13. And we are also very fit.
- 14:27Speaker 2: In America's most.
- 14:28Speaker 1: cities.
- 14:29Speaker 2: This one was done by the 2026 American College of
- 14:32Speaker 2: Sports Medicine's American Fitness Index.
- 14:34Speaker 6: No, we are.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Have you looked around the rest of the country?
- 14:37Speaker 5: Come on.
- 14:37Speaker 1: The people in Denver... I'm starting to.
- 14:39Speaker 4: Not believe that.
- 14:40Speaker 3: I was just at a very popular location here in
- 14:45Speaker 3: town and.
- 14:46Speaker 6: I.
- 14:48Speaker 4: Don't want to be mean.
- 14:49Speaker 5: Imagine how much worse it is everywhere else.
- 14:51Speaker 1: You know what you need to do?
- 14:52Speaker 2: Go over to Wash Park and watch those people run
- 14:54Speaker 2: around it. Those are the most fittest people I've ever...
- 14:57Speaker 2: You can bounce a quarter off those buns.
- 15:00Speaker 1: I'm telling you.
- 15:00Speaker 4: I got to give me a roll of quarters.
- 15:02Speaker 2: I'm telling you, they are so in shape out at
- 15:05Speaker 2: Wash Park and in Denver. That's what this looked at.
- 15:07Speaker 2: So Denver in this study, number five, according to the
- 15:11Speaker 2: Fit Levels.
- 15:11Speaker 5: Most fittest.
- 15:12Speaker 1: So that is really good. Aurora, number 31.
- 15:15Speaker 2: If you can believe it or not. And then Colorado Springs,
- 15:18Speaker 2: 40th on that list. So they're looking at access to parks,
- 15:22Speaker 2: recreation facilities, bike lanes, public spaces, all that stuff.
- 15:25Speaker 5: But also.
- 15:26Speaker 1: physical activity, smoking rates, and diet.
- 15:29Speaker 2: So they looked at all of those things when they
- 15:31Speaker 2: did this study.
- 15:32Speaker 1: So we're pretty... And we're smart. I love that.
- 15:35Speaker 4: Okay, moving on.
- 15:36Speaker 2: And an Adams County firefighter is a hero in more
- 15:39Speaker 2: ways than one today. They responded to a call to
- 15:42Speaker 2: rescue a little kitten from a well yesterday morning.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Oh, he's stuck in a well, the little kitten.
- 15:48Speaker 2: They were able to save it and bring him to
- 15:50Speaker 2: a local animal shelter. But the best part about this
- 15:53Speaker 2: story warms my heart.
- 15:55Speaker 1: One of the firefighters adopted that little kitty. I know,
- 15:59Speaker 1: he's five weeks old. one lived happily ever after. Oh,
- 16:04Speaker 1: I love it.
- 16:04Speaker 2: So yeah, firefighters saving the day and becoming a little
- 16:08Speaker 2: kitty mama.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Love it. There you go. There's my hype.
