- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Well, all right, Tuesday morning, that big beautiful full moon
- 0:05Speaker 2: out there to see it?
- 0:06Speaker 3: Rick, I didn't see it. I was running late today
- 0:10Speaker 3: right after these three things.
- 0:10Speaker 2: I wanted to run out and look at the movie.
- 0:12Speaker 2: It's awesome too. He's got three things showing up.
- 0:15Speaker 4: Not a story that I ever thought that I would
- 0:16Speaker 4: be reading out loud, but here we go. There's a
- 0:19Speaker 4: lot of drama going on between rapper Young Gravy and
- 0:23Speaker 4: viral sensation Hawk to a Girl Boy.
- 0:25Speaker 3: So if you know who Hawke.
- 0:26Speaker 4: To a Girl is, well you've been chronically on the internet,
- 0:30Speaker 4: just like all of us, and you know exactly what
- 0:32Speaker 4: I'm talking about. If you don't google Hawk to a
- 0:35Speaker 4: Girl because I can't really explain it on the radio.
- 0:38Speaker 4: But they both apparently were having conversations with each other.
- 0:42Speaker 4: She had then said to I think it was a
- 0:44Speaker 4: podcast that Young Gravy.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Asked her out, and she was like, I'm not really
- 0:49Speaker 3: feeling it.
- 0:50Speaker 4: So Young Gravy said, bet, I have the receipts, I
- 0:53Speaker 4: have all of the dms between the two of us.
- 0:55Speaker 3: It's not just me.
- 0:57Speaker 4: So it does very much seem like the two of
- 0:58Speaker 4: them were kind of hitting it off, and it kind
- 1:00Speaker 4: of seemed like they were getting along.
- 1:03Speaker 3: So now that she's kind of talking.
- 1:04Speaker 4: To press, I guess you could say and saying something
- 1:07Speaker 4: otherwise seems a little sketchy and he's a little upset
- 1:11Speaker 4: about it.
- 1:11Speaker 2: I can't believe I care about how to a girl.
- 1:14Speaker 2: But do we know if she's single? Because in that
- 1:16Speaker 2: video in which she first went viral, she was like
- 1:18Speaker 2: shouting out somebody that she was, you know.
- 1:20Speaker 3: I guess she is. I don't know. I'm really not sure.
- 1:22Speaker 4: That might be why she's trying to say it the
- 1:24Speaker 4: way that she is, of like, oh, we asked me
- 1:26Speaker 4: on a date and I said no, when in reality
- 1:28Speaker 4: it wasn't really like that. But yeah, so that's happening
- 1:31Speaker 4: right now. Like I said, never a story. I thought
- 1:33Speaker 4: I'd be reading out loud, but here we are. The
- 1:35Speaker 4: former old spaghetti factory on Second ALB has been approved
- 1:38Speaker 4: for rental units, so it was the second Avenue staple
- 1:41Speaker 4: for forty years, the old spaghetti factory, but the restaurant's
- 1:45Speaker 4: lease was terminated after the bombing that happened. The structure
- 1:48Speaker 4: accumulated nearly one million dollars in damages, which is just
- 1:52Speaker 4: so sad.
- 1:53Speaker 3: They have been.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Looking for a new place to kind of make home
- 1:56Speaker 4: and it just hasn't worked out.
- 1:57Speaker 3: They haven't found the perfect spot.
- 1:59Speaker 4: So there is a new owner, and the first floor
- 2:02Speaker 4: is going to still apparently hold restaurants, a restaurant or retail,
- 2:06Speaker 4: and then there were going to be fifty five short
- 2:08Speaker 4: term rental units to spread throughout five floors. So that's
- 2:12Speaker 4: all the updated stuff happening there on second ab and
- 2:15Speaker 4: all of Garden, your favorite place, Kevin man out, all
- 2:19Speaker 4: of Garden's never ending possible is returning. So all you
- 2:23Speaker 4: can need deal is going to start on the twenty seventh,
- 2:26Speaker 4: so very soon, with early access.
- 2:28Speaker 3: To anybody that's in their club.
- 2:29Speaker 4: They have like a club membership, so if you're a
- 2:32Speaker 4: part of that, you're gonna have early access. The offer
- 2:33Speaker 4: is gonna stay the same price as it's been for
- 2:35Speaker 4: the last few years, which is huge, so thirteen ninety nine,
- 2:39Speaker 4: which is unheard of at this point because everybody's raising prices.
- 2:43Speaker 4: So for thirteen ninety nine, you're gonna get all you
- 2:45Speaker 4: can eat everything pasta breadstick, soups, salad, various different combinations
- 2:51Speaker 4: of everything that you can imagine, and it's going to
- 2:52Speaker 4: run through November seventeenth. This is actually their biggest thing
- 2:56Speaker 4: that they do. It brings so many customers to all
- 2:59Speaker 4: of God.
- 3:00Speaker 2: I mean, you can't even get a meal for that
- 3:01Speaker 2: price at a fast food restaurants, he says.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Absolute facts.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Kevin, So Olive Garden the twenty seventh, you could start
- 3:07Speaker 4: getting never any possibles. I'm Rick Sanchez and those are
- 3:10Speaker 4: the three things you need to know.
- 3:11Speaker 2: And to be clear, I haven't been to an Olive
- 3:13Speaker 2: Garden probably a decade. Honestly. I just I sing the birthday,
- 3:15Speaker 2: so loved that birthday. Saw a friend of mine in
- 3:17Speaker 2: high school worked at Alive Garden, So that's why I
- 3:19Speaker 2: know it. Good morning, It is Benson Boone on.
- 3:22Speaker 5: The River one oh seven five of the River.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning. How would you
- 3:26Speaker 2: like to be the first caller of the day on
- 3:28Speaker 2: one O seven five the River? If you said yes,
- 3:31Speaker 2: I'd like that call a six one five seven, three
- 3:33Speaker 2: seven nine one oh seven.
- 3:34Speaker 4: You're gonna get tickets to Music City Brewers Fest. It's
- 3:36Speaker 4: happening this Saturday at Walk of Fame Park. Forty plus breweries,
- 3:40Speaker 4: live music, food trucks, games, hopefully beautiful weather.
- 3:43Speaker 3: I mean, yes, it's gonna be great.
- 3:45Speaker 2: The weather has been nicer this week. Is it's gonna beautiful,
- 3:47Speaker 2: so hopefully that continues. Saturday, first caller, you are there.
- 3:50Speaker 2: We're talking to you next down the river, one oh seven.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Five the river, Ricky, Zach and manow in the morning.

- 4:07Speaker 4: Could you hear it?
- 4:08Speaker 3: No, that's okay, that's okay, Austin.
- 4:12Speaker 4: We believe you that you tried. That's all that matters.
- 4:14Speaker 4: Where are you driving to in your semi truck?
- 4:17Speaker 6: I'm headed to Portland, Tennessee.
- 4:19Speaker 2: I'm in a Coco Cola truck. That's cool. Is that
- 4:22Speaker 2: your your job? Are you a coke driver?
- 4:24Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm a coke driver.
- 4:25Speaker 3: That must take you to some really like interesting places.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm just all around basically Middle Tennessee.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Right now.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Okay, let me ask you this. If you're on the
- 4:33Speaker 2: road and you you know you're next to a PEPSI driver,
- 4:36Speaker 2: do you guys acknowledge each other or you pretend to
- 4:39Speaker 2: not see him or what.
- 4:40Speaker 6: They basically are? Just in my way a lot of
- 4:42Speaker 6: the time.
- 4:42Speaker 2: That's the stores that I delivered to.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Kevin. That was such a like dad question. I feel
- 4:49Speaker 3: like like pepsi the rivals, what do you do if
- 4:52Speaker 3: you see each other?
- 4:54Speaker 4: Well, Austin, thank you so much for listening. You are
- 4:57Speaker 4: our first caller of the day on one of seven
- 4:59Speaker 4: five the awesome.
- 5:01Speaker 3: That's amazing.
- 5:02Speaker 6: I've been crying for so long to be the first collar.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Ray.
- 5:05Speaker 2: We're glad it worked out for you. This morning. You
- 5:06Speaker 2: getting tickets to Music City Brewers Fest. It's happening this
- 5:09Speaker 2: weekend this Saturday at Walk of Fame Park. They're gonna
- 5:12Speaker 2: have over forty breweries, live music, food trucks, games.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Beautiful weather.
- 5:17Speaker 6: Awesome. I'm so excited.
- 5:19Speaker 2: I'm guessing pepsi. Do you drink a lot of pepsi?
- 5:22Speaker 1: Oh?
- 5:22Speaker 2: Wait, Coke? Oh my god, I confuse myself.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Coke, I feel like as you can't answer that if
- 5:29Speaker 3: he doesn't. Actually, I know I'm not.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Spoused to drink any that's for sure. No, Yeah, there
- 5:35Speaker 2: we go, all right, man, Thank you for listening, Thank
- 5:37Speaker 2: you for calling us, and have fun this weekend and
- 5:39Speaker 2: be careful out there, buddy. Awesome.
- 5:41Speaker 7: Thank you so much.
- 5:42Speaker 5: Hang on the line Ricky is Zach and Manno in
- 5:45Speaker 5: the morning on.
- 5:48Speaker 4: You have a very interesting question that you want to
- 5:49Speaker 4: ask the class, Kevin.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Man, I feel like I'm driving you crazy because I
- 5:52Speaker 2: can't stop talking about the full moon. I love a
- 5:54Speaker 2: full moon.
- 5:55Speaker 3: The moon every second you could.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I've heard over the years, So I'm throwing this out
- 5:59Speaker 2: to our medical professionals. We have a lot of them
- 6:01Speaker 2: listening in the six o'clock hour on their way into work.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Does a full moon really affect like activity in an
- 6:08Speaker 2: emergency room? I've heard that before, that a full moon
- 6:11Speaker 2: makes people a little weird, a little crazy, and the
- 6:13Speaker 2: emergency rooms just fill up whenever there's a full moon.
- 6:15Speaker 3: A spike in unusual behavior.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Exactly well said six one five, seven, three seven nine,
- 6:20Speaker 2: one oh seven. Is it a fact? Is it not?
- 6:22Speaker 2: I don't know. Let us know six one five, seven,
- 6:25Speaker 2: three seven nine one oh seven. You're expecting to see
- 6:26Speaker 2: a spike? Did you last night overnight? Are expecting to
- 6:29Speaker 2: see more today?
- 6:30Speaker 5: Let us know, Ricky is Zach and Manno in the
- 6:33Speaker 5: morning on one seven five the river, does it feel
- 6:36Speaker 5: like a weird day at all?
- 6:37Speaker 2: It's one oh seven five of the river. I want
- 6:40Speaker 2: to figure out if there's any truth to this rumor that,
- 6:42Speaker 2: like there's a spike in emergency room activity when there's
- 6:45Speaker 2: a full moon.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Audrey and levinon, are you an e R nurse or
- 6:48Speaker 4: a doctor or something like that.
- 6:51Speaker 8: I'm neither of those.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Okay.
- 6:53Speaker 2: A teacher, yes, okay, what do you teach?
- 6:56Speaker 8: I teach fourth grade right now, but I've taught kindergarten
- 6:59Speaker 8: three fourth right okay?
- 7:00Speaker 2: So do the kids get extra crazy around a full moon?
- 7:03Speaker 8: I'm telling you right now, it's a full blown fact,
- 7:07Speaker 8: like I'm dreading going into work today.
- 7:10Speaker 6: Really a disaster? Yes, wow?
- 7:13Speaker 8: Like when and it's a fair in Wilson County right now,
- 7:16Speaker 8: so you know kids went out last night too, so
- 7:18Speaker 8: they're going to be extra tired. And then with the moon,
- 7:21Speaker 8: like I'm telling you, it's so real.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Well, Audrey, and I want you to flip your thinking
- 7:27Speaker 2: because the way you approach the day has a lot
- 7:29Speaker 2: to do with how that day turns out, and try
- 7:31Speaker 2: to go with a positive attitude.
- 7:32Speaker 8: All right, Well, how about you come into my classroom
- 7:36Speaker 8: and we can teamwork it.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Yeah, there we go, Kevin, you goes, You spend a
- 7:40Speaker 4: day in her life.
- 7:41Speaker 3: And see how it comes good luck, Audrey.
- 7:44Speaker 4: Do you have a question though, Is this something that
- 7:46Speaker 4: you've noticed on your own that the kids get extra
- 7:50Speaker 4: spicy when the full moon happens, or is this something
- 7:53Speaker 4: that's just known between teachers.
- 7:55Speaker 8: Oh no, like this is everybody, Like all of my
- 7:58Speaker 8: teacher friends were supposed to, like on Insta and Facebook
- 8:02Speaker 8: and all of that, like think of us tomorrow, because
- 8:05Speaker 8: you know, all of those articles last night or over
- 8:08Speaker 8: the past like weeks. It was like because it was.
- 8:10Speaker 6: Like a blue moon or yes.
- 8:13Speaker 8: Like that, so they would like share that article and
- 8:16Speaker 8: they'd be like, don't forget to think of us or
- 8:19Speaker 8: something like that.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Well, good luck with all those little werewolves in there today.
- 8:24Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm shocked, Matt, definitely what they are.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Thank you for calling. We appreciate you listening. Yeah, truly,
- 8:30Speaker 2: best of luck.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Thank you, Bilo.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Let's talk to one more. Lindsay in Nashville real quick.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Do you work in the medical profession?
- 8:37Speaker 7: I do.
- 8:38Speaker 1: My husband and I both work at a nursing home.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Okay, and what have you noticed?
- 8:42Speaker 7: You're on full moons, you'll just see not only like ers,
- 8:45Speaker 7: but at a nursing home, it's little grannies taking the door.
- 8:50Speaker 7: I mean just acting up, just doing super strange stuff.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Really, Yeah, people standing up for no real reason.
- 8:58Speaker 4: No. See, if an elderly person starts doing something like that,
- 9:01Speaker 4: that's going to really freak me out.
- 9:02Speaker 2: In the middle of the night, you turn a corner
- 9:04Speaker 2: and they're just standing there staring.
- 9:06Speaker 1: No literally literally, And it's true. There's also kind of
- 9:09Speaker 1: a little mountain buzzword in our field that sometimes death
- 9:14Speaker 1: can come in freeze. Yes, so if unfortunately someone passes away,
- 9:17Speaker 1: you're like, oh gosh, well.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Lindsay, now I'm getting scared. Thank you for calling goosebumps.
- 9:25Speaker 4: We hope your day is not super creepy today and
- 9:28Speaker 4: that it goes smoothly.
- 9:29Speaker 7: Thank you so much.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Thank you. See, the thing I had always heard was
- 9:34Speaker 2: like lunar, you know, the moon, a full moon, the
- 9:36Speaker 2: word lunatic, lunar, and like, since our bodies are like
- 9:40Speaker 2: sixty percent waters, it has a big effect on.
- 9:42Speaker 4: The way we call the tide of the ocean because
- 9:45Speaker 4: of the water.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Blanket. Good luck to everybody out there, all the teachers.
- 9:49Speaker 4: I'm like shocked by the amount of just I guess
- 9:51Speaker 4: it's everybody that looks funny during a big full moon.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Yeah, so we'll see just keep your eyes open, see
- 9:57Speaker 2: if it's a weird day. Three days all right, just
- 10:01Speaker 2: past seven o'clock on this Tuesday morning. Thank you for
- 10:03Speaker 2: starting to day with us. Ricky has those three things.
- 10:05Speaker 3: So it looks like the latest trend might make it
- 10:07Speaker 3: harder for you to get Halloween decor the closer that
- 10:09Speaker 3: we get to the holiday. Everyone is celebrating summer Ween
- 10:13Speaker 3: right now.
- 10:14Speaker 4: What I guess it's kind of partially to do with
- 10:16Speaker 4: the fact that everybody that loves fall is looking forward
- 10:19Speaker 4: to fall and looking forward to Halloween, and also the
- 10:22Speaker 4: fact that retailers are putting out Halloween decor so much
- 10:25Speaker 4: earlier and earlier every year, so everyone's like, you know what,
- 10:28Speaker 4: summer Ween, we're gonna start celebrating now. So people are
- 10:31Speaker 4: already picking up those twelve foot skeletons, all of the
- 10:35Speaker 4: you know, scented candles that you like that are like
- 10:37Speaker 4: Halloween or fall scented pumpkins, everything. So just keep that
- 10:42Speaker 4: in mind while you get closer to the actual holiday,
- 10:45Speaker 4: that if there is anything specific that you want that's Halloween,
- 10:48Speaker 4: get it now.
- 10:49Speaker 2: My daughter's story has been begging us to get out
- 10:52Speaker 2: the Halloween decorations and put the skeletons in the yard
- 10:54Speaker 2: and stuff. We're making her wait until September first.
- 10:56Speaker 3: She wants to celebrate summer ween.
- 10:58Speaker 4: I don't blame her at all. Halloween that's my favorite holiday.
- 11:01Speaker 4: So I kind of love that everyone's also jumping on
- 11:03Speaker 4: this bandwagon. But like I said, keep that in mind
- 11:05Speaker 4: so that you can get all the things that you
- 11:06Speaker 4: want earlier. For the first time since twenty eleven, Burning
- 11:10Speaker 4: Man has not sold out. Burning Man is the annual
- 11:13Speaker 4: week long festival that's known to bring a lot of
- 11:15Speaker 4: famous people out to the desert in Nevada. They all
- 11:18Speaker 4: dress extra weird and strange and interesting and have a
- 11:23Speaker 4: whole festival. Lots of stuff go down. There are things
- 11:26Speaker 4: that I cannot say on the radio. And this is
- 11:29Speaker 4: the first time in over a decade that tickets are
- 11:31Speaker 4: just not doing great. And it starts August twenty fifth,
- 11:34Speaker 4: which is really strange.
- 11:35Speaker 3: For the event.
- 11:35Speaker 4: There's a few reasons people are speculating for ticket sale declines,
- 11:39Speaker 4: extreme weather conditions at the last two festivals, and also
- 11:43Speaker 4: the current economic challenges. So it's expensive to go and
- 11:46Speaker 4: to prep yourself for this. So a lot of people
- 11:48Speaker 4: just don't have the money, but they typically get eighty
- 11:51Speaker 4: thousand people to attend this festival.
- 11:53Speaker 2: That's pretty wild wild.
- 11:55Speaker 3: And it's not gonna be anywhere near that. This year,
- 11:58Speaker 3: we're getting a dog bar, like a dog park bar,
- 12:01Speaker 3: restaurant combo. This looks awesome, It looks so cool. So
- 12:04Speaker 3: it's coming to Nashville. It's called Urban Dog Bar.
- 12:06Speaker 4: It's gonna have a fifteen five hundred square foot outdoor park,
- 12:10Speaker 4: five thousand square foot indoor area with restrooms.
- 12:13Speaker 3: TV seating.
- 12:14Speaker 4: It's gonna have local beer taps, wine options, can drinks, mocktails,
- 12:19Speaker 4: and then non alcoholic dog beer too, which is adorable.
- 12:22Speaker 4: So you can grab a daily pass, a monthly or
- 12:24Speaker 4: yearly membership. It's gonna open October fourth in the Nations,
- 12:28Speaker 4: and I think it's gonna be the cutest thing ever.
- 12:30Speaker 4: I don't even have a dog anymore, and I just
- 12:32Speaker 4: want to go and pet everybody else's dogs. So you
- 12:34Speaker 4: get to drink beer and let your dogs run around
- 12:36Speaker 4: and make friends.
- 12:36Speaker 2: And they get a drink here as well.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Yes, how amazing is that October fourth in the Nation's
- 12:42Speaker 4: Urban dog Bar.
- 12:43Speaker 3: I'm Urchys Sanchez, and those are the three things you
- 12:44Speaker 3: need to know.
- 12:45Speaker 2: I don't trust my dog owen to go. He's like
- 12:48Speaker 2: turning into a grumpy old man. He's eleven now, Yeah,
- 12:50Speaker 2: growls at everything. So I'll probably go without him.
- 12:54Speaker 3: We'll go together just pet everybody else's dog.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Sounds like a plan. Zach's fax right after our hosey.
- 12:58Speaker 2: We're all gonna learn something to other on this Tuesday morning.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Next that one sent the river.
- 13:03Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 13:06Speaker 3: On the River Back is not here this week.
- 13:09Speaker 4: He's on vacation per usual, but we did have him
- 13:13Speaker 4: record some zack SPACKX, so we're gonna let Zach take
- 13:15Speaker 4: it away.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Zach Spax on one of seven five the river.
- 13:18Speaker 9: You guys should be really grateful for jelly beans because
- 13:20Speaker 9: they take up to two weeks to make.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Who would have thought that it took so long to
- 13:24Speaker 3: make a jelly bean?
- 13:25Speaker 4: Really?
- 13:26Speaker 9: Yeah, apparently they have to go through the shower rents
- 13:29Speaker 9: repeat like process of pouring more and more sugar on
- 13:32Speaker 9: it to make the jelly bean.
- 13:34Speaker 3: That also makes me really nervous to know just how
- 13:36Speaker 3: much sugar is it a jelly There's a lot.
- 13:40Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the Morning on the River.
- 13:44Speaker 4: What's your reoccurring autocorrect headache. It's Ricky, Zach and Manno
- 13:48Speaker 4: in the morning on one O seven five the River, Kevin,
- 13:52Speaker 4: like any classic dad has complained about this.
- 13:56Speaker 2: You have to tell me it's gotta be a problem
- 13:57Speaker 2: for you too. I feel like everybody has these little things.
- 13:59Speaker 4: It's what a sure a problem for me. I just
- 14:01Speaker 4: don't talk about it as much as you do. What
- 14:03Speaker 4: are the two big ones for you that you just
- 14:05Speaker 4: keep referencing?
- 14:05Speaker 2: Well, my computer, every time I type the word Nashville,
- 14:09Speaker 2: it makes it all caps, no matter what, there's nothing
- 14:11Speaker 2: I get do about it, all caps Nashville. And then
- 14:13Speaker 2: one of my best friends's name is Gordon. For some reason,
- 14:17Speaker 2: my phone always makes me type Gordonald. And that's not.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Even a name, Gordonald.
- 14:22Speaker 2: It's combining Gordon and Donald.
- 14:24Speaker 3: That is Gordonald region.
- 14:25Speaker 2: I've never typed that once in my life, and it
- 14:27Speaker 2: always types Gordonald.
- 14:29Speaker 4: What is your reoccurring autocorrect headache? Call us right now
- 14:33Speaker 4: six one five, seven, three seven, nine one oh seven.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Maybe it'll be worse than Kevin.
- 14:37Speaker 2: I can't be alone. Give us a call. Let us know.
- 14:39Speaker 5: Gordonald, Ricky is Zach and Manno in the Morning.
- 14:43Speaker 2: On the River Hosty and Morgan Walling on one O
- 14:47Speaker 2: seven five the River. A minute ago, I mentioned some
- 14:50Speaker 2: of my reoccurring auto correct headaches that I'm having, Like
- 14:53Speaker 2: my phone always makes me refer to my friend Gordon
- 14:56Speaker 2: as Gordonald, which is not even a name. So we
- 14:58Speaker 2: want to know yours, Jen and Franklin.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Do you have an autocorrect nightmare headache that just drives
- 15:04Speaker 4: you crazy?
- 15:05Speaker 5: I do.
- 15:05Speaker 6: I use sweite on my Android, and every time I'm
- 15:09Speaker 6: typing I'm so sorry, it always changes it to I'm
- 15:12Speaker 6: so dirty. That's gotten me in trouble.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Jen.
- 15:18Speaker 4: That is like complete opposite end of the spectrum.
- 15:21Speaker 2: I know, Hey, are you always typing? I'm so sorry
- 15:24Speaker 2: because all your Apple iPhone friends are mad that their
- 15:27Speaker 2: texts are green when they're talking to you.
- 15:28Speaker 4: Yes, Jen, I'm so sorry for that because I could
- 15:32Speaker 4: see how that could definitely get you in trouble.
- 15:34Speaker 3: But we appreciate you calling in and making Kevin feel
- 15:37Speaker 3: a little bit better.
- 15:38Speaker 6: Yeah, I have a good day on textbook too.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Colton in Nashville, what about you, buddy, do you have
- 15:43Speaker 2: an autocorrect nightmare reoccurring?
- 15:45Speaker 6: I do.
- 15:46Speaker 3: I like to call my girlfriend petunty and so well
- 15:49Speaker 3: short and it's a tuty, but it just keeps typing toty,
- 15:51Speaker 3: but like tooting, like larting.
- 15:55Speaker 2: So you try to call her petuity or just tuty,
- 15:58Speaker 2: but you instead you're calling touting. Right, Okay, that's good.
- 16:03Speaker 5: I'm sorry.
- 16:03Speaker 4: I've actually first off, put tuning just really sent me
- 16:10Speaker 4: off the edge. Colton, I'm not gonna lie. And then
- 16:13Speaker 4: the fact that it auto corrects to touting.
- 16:15Speaker 2: I can't that really got Ricky. She has tears.
- 16:21Speaker 9: I love it.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Thanks. Do you have one, Ricky, if you employed yourself together.
- 16:33Speaker 4: And my fiance ever tasted me like dearingly called me touting,
- 16:37Speaker 4: I don't know what.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Oh man, I can't even think of my auto cracked.
- 16:43Speaker 4: Oh, the classic one I think that drives everybody crazy.
- 16:45Speaker 3: The duck one.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Oh.
- 16:47Speaker 3: I don't need to give much.
- 16:48Speaker 4: More than that because I can't on the radio, but
- 16:50Speaker 4: the duck one, especially when you're mad and it comes
- 16:52Speaker 4: up duck and you're like, that is not what I
- 16:54Speaker 4: want right now?
- 16:56Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the river.
- 17:01Speaker 3: We've been getting a.
- 17:02Speaker 4: Lot of really funny ones for these autocorrect nightmares. It
- 17:05Speaker 4: all started with Kevin's what was it?
- 17:07Speaker 2: It calls my friend Gordon Gordonald for some reason, which.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Is outrageous, and we've gotten even more outrageous ones. Carrie
- 17:13Speaker 3: and Nashville.
- 17:14Speaker 4: What is your autocorrect reoccurring headache?
- 17:17Speaker 6: For some reason? Every time I want to say thanks,
- 17:21Speaker 6: it's auto corrects it's Thanksgiving.
- 17:24Speaker 2: I think my phone does that too, And you're right,
- 17:27Speaker 2: that's so annoying and very weird.
- 17:29Speaker 6: I know it's so annoying, and you have to correct
- 17:32Speaker 6: it every time for us. You look crazy, I.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Say, Carrie, you just start sending Thanksgiving and just roll
- 17:38Speaker 4: with it.
- 17:39Speaker 3: See what happens.
- 17:43Speaker 6: Thank you, Thank you so much for calling in love.
- 17:45Speaker 6: Have a great day, you too, Bye bye bye.
- 17:47Speaker 2: We're playing the Green Game for Green Day tickets. They're
- 17:49Speaker 2: gonna be here at the end of the month. You
- 17:51Speaker 2: can win them.
- 17:51Speaker 5: Next on the River Ricky is Zach and Manno in
- 17:55Speaker 5: the morning.
- 17:55Speaker 4: On Green Day will be at Giodas Park on August third.
- 18:00Speaker 4: You could be there too if you win. Kevin Manno's
- 18:02Speaker 4: Game of the Day presented by Genesis Diamonds, and.
- 18:04Speaker 2: That's what we're playing right now. We're doing the Green
- 18:07Speaker 2: Game for Green Day tickets all week. Yesterday it was
- 18:09Speaker 2: green characters. Today it's gonna be like green logos of
- 18:12Speaker 2: different businesses, products, companies, things like that.
- 18:15Speaker 4: So today's category is green logos. Yeah, if you think
- 18:18Speaker 4: you know everything about green logos, which sounds strange to
- 18:22Speaker 4: say out loud, but if you know green logos, and
- 18:24Speaker 4: now's your time to call us.
- 18:26Speaker 2: There are a lot of them out there. So much
- 18:28Speaker 2: like yesterday, we're going three out of five. You gotta
- 18:30Speaker 2: get three out of five of these questions right to
- 18:32Speaker 2: get the tickets to see Green Day. Okay, six, one, five, seven,
- 18:35Speaker 2: three seven, nine, one oh seven playing the game? Next
- 18:37Speaker 2: is game time, Baby Ricky?
- 18:40Speaker 5: Is Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 18:42Speaker 3: On a right, Kevin, do you want to say it?
- 18:46Speaker 2: It's game time baby?
- 18:47Speaker 8: Chris?
- 18:48Speaker 2: Do you want to say it?
- 18:49Speaker 3: It's game time, baby Ricky?
- 18:52Speaker 2: Do you want to say it?
- 18:53Speaker 4: I'm not gonna say it, but that was Chris and Andiak.
- 18:55Speaker 4: He's gonna play Kevin Mino's game of the day on
- 18:58Speaker 4: one oh seven, five the River.
- 18:59Speaker 3: We're doing green logos for the Green Game.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Yes, we're playing the Green Game all week. We did
- 19:03Speaker 2: the Green Game a long time ago. I think when
- 19:05Speaker 2: this Green Day show was announced, and it was just
- 19:07Speaker 2: like such a fan favorite, Like I can't even walk
- 19:10Speaker 2: down the street without people yelling, hey, love the green games.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I've heard.
- 19:14Speaker 2: So we brought it back. You gotta get three out
- 19:16Speaker 2: of five of these, right, all right, Chris? Alright, shot,
- 19:20Speaker 2: yesterday it was green characters. Today it's green logos, Chris
- 19:22Speaker 2: and Antioch. The green game starts right now. Which coffee
- 19:27Speaker 2: shop with a green logo first opened its doors in
- 19:30Speaker 2: Seattle in nineteen seventy one, Starbay Shop? An easy one.
- 19:36Speaker 2: We're easing it here. What soft drink with the green
- 19:40Speaker 2: logo has used the slogan Obey your thirst?
- 19:45Speaker 5: Mountain Dew?
- 19:47Speaker 2: Oh no, it's Sprite.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Oh I thought it was Mountain Dew too. Okay, that's
- 19:51Speaker 3: all right, Chris.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Feel like I should probably fact check that out. Yeah,
- 19:55Speaker 2: we're moving on, we're moving up back. In twenty seventeen,
- 19:58Speaker 2: Amazon acquired What Grocery Store with a green logo for
- 20:02Speaker 2: thirteen point seven billion dollars.
- 20:06Speaker 6: Oh, Albertson, No, those whole foods.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Ah, you're still alive, man, You still you gotta get
- 20:16Speaker 2: these next two? Okay, all right. Microsoft is the parent
- 20:20Speaker 2: company behind What video game console that has a green logo. Okay,
- 20:27Speaker 2: all right, all right, last question. I like your I
- 20:30Speaker 2: like your odds here. I think you're gonna get this.
- 20:32Speaker 2: What beers green logo also includes a red star.
- 20:39Speaker 6: Let's go with thy, Chris.
- 20:43Speaker 2: You made us nervous and you missed two in a
- 20:45Speaker 2: row there, but you pulled it off.
- 20:47Speaker 6: Awesome.
- 20:48Speaker 3: Congratulations.
- 20:49Speaker 4: You're gonna see Green Day at Yodas on August thirtieth.
- 20:52Speaker 4: Gonna be a great show. Rancid's gonna be there. Kevin
- 20:55Speaker 4: keeps talking about Rancid.
- 20:56Speaker 2: I love rans of the Smashing Pumpkins and Linda. Linda's
- 20:59Speaker 2: gonna be there as well. Is gonna be a cool night.
- 21:01Speaker 2: So congrats.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Awesome, I appreciate it.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Great job man, Thanks for playing the Green game, and
- 21:06Speaker 2: have a great day you too. Hang on the line, Chris,
- 21:08Speaker 2: We're gonna have more tomorrow, same time. Jonathan has more
- 21:10Speaker 2: later as well. Five forty five. Yes, you can win
- 21:12Speaker 2: these tickets with Jonathan's.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Well easier with Jonathan a little bit.
- 21:15Speaker 2: He's not gonna make it jump through the hoops.
- 21:17Speaker 3: We have more fun, Yes, we were more fun. Well,
- 21:20Speaker 3: John's little easier.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Well, Hello, thank you for starting your day with us
- 21:25Speaker 2: just past eight o'clock. Wrecky's got those three things.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Deadpool and Wolverine have now become the top grossing R
- 21:32Speaker 4: rated movie characters because Joker used to hold this slot
- 21:36Speaker 4: as the top grossing R rated movie, but Deadpool and
- 21:39Speaker 4: Wolverine swooped out underneath them.
- 21:41Speaker 3: And took it away. Uh.
- 21:42Speaker 4: So far, they have made one point eighty six billion
- 21:46Speaker 4: dollars after three weeks, which is pretty wild, especially for
- 21:50Speaker 4: movies today, because we have been doing great in the
- 21:53Speaker 4: movie sector and those are the only two R rated
- 21:57Speaker 4: films to ever cross the billion dollar mark was Joker
- 21:59Speaker 4: and Deadpool Wolverine, so that's kind of crazy. So far,
- 22:02Speaker 4: Deadpool and Wolverine have broken a total of seven box
- 22:05Speaker 4: office records.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Wow.
- 22:07Speaker 4: Seven Yeah, pretty crazy. Obviously, we will see just how
- 22:11Speaker 4: this develops into more and more movies, because maybe we'll
- 22:14Speaker 4: get a Deadpool Wolverine two. Deadpool obviously isn't going anywhere
- 22:17Speaker 4: anytime soon, and he Ryan Reynolds is ready to make
- 22:20Speaker 4: as many movies as humanly possible to keep this going.
- 22:23Speaker 4: But yeah, they're breaking box office records. They're doing amazing
- 22:26Speaker 4: top grossing R rated movie thus far.
- 22:28Speaker 3: If you haven't seen it. Go check it out. It's
- 22:30Speaker 3: really great.
- 22:31Speaker 2: With my friends, and I'm still trying to convince my
- 22:33Speaker 2: wife to go see it with me. I think she'd
- 22:35Speaker 2: like it and I want to go see it again.
- 22:36Speaker 3: So good. Highly recommend.
- 22:38Speaker 4: These are the best and worst times to travel in
- 22:40Speaker 4: the car this Labor Day weekend.
- 22:41Speaker 3: One thing to keep in mind is that travel within
- 22:43Speaker 3: the US is gone.
- 22:44Speaker 4: Up nine percent from last year according to Triple A,
- 22:47Speaker 4: so there's going to be a lot of people on
- 22:49Speaker 4: the road. The roads will be most congested on the
- 22:52Speaker 4: afternoons of Thursday, August twenty ninth and Friday, August thirtieth,
- 22:56Speaker 4: and the morning of Saturday, August thirty first, so keep
- 23:00Speaker 4: that in mind when you are traveling. I personally always
- 23:02Speaker 4: recommended to leaving like in the.
- 23:05Speaker 3: Night at two am, just fleeing in the night. Fleeing
- 23:08Speaker 3: in the night two am.
- 23:09Speaker 4: Cover of darkness is my favorite time to leave whenever
- 23:12Speaker 4: I'm doing a road trip because you miss all the traffic,
- 23:14Speaker 4: you don't have to deal with anybody else, even when
- 23:16Speaker 4: it's not Labor Day. And then obviously you add on
- 23:18Speaker 4: Labor Day weekend, it's gonna get even more hectic out there.
- 23:20Speaker 4: So keep that in mind. Like I said, travel is
- 23:22Speaker 4: up nine percent from last year, and it may not
- 23:25Speaker 4: feel like it, but and Cruise Cruise have filled twenty
- 23:31Speaker 4: five thousand potholes since January. Speaking of traveling around, obviously
- 23:35Speaker 4: when you're driving around you notice a lot of potholes,
- 23:38Speaker 4: but they are really really working very hard. We do
- 23:40Speaker 4: appreciate them so much. The Department of Transportation has been
- 23:44Speaker 4: working five days a week, six days a week to
- 23:46Speaker 4: fill all these potholes. Obviously, when we have bad weather,
- 23:49Speaker 4: more potholes create, and earlier this month they were in
- 23:53Speaker 4: Williamson County filling out potholes. Right now they're focusing on
- 23:56Speaker 4: the East Sloop this week on I twenty four and
- 23:58Speaker 4: I sixty five. And if you ever happened to come
- 24:01Speaker 4: across a pothole, know that you could submit.
- 24:03Speaker 3: It to them to get filled.
- 24:05Speaker 4: If you just go to hub dot Nashville dot gov,
- 24:08Speaker 4: you can fill out a whole little thing right there
- 24:10Speaker 4: where you say that there's a pothole, how big it is,
- 24:12Speaker 4: all that good stuff, and the requests are supposed to
- 24:15Speaker 4: be filled within forty eight hours, which is really impressive,
- 24:17Speaker 4: really really impressive, and they can't fill the potholes.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Unless you'll let them know where they are. I'm Ricky
- 24:22Speaker 3: Sanchez and those are the three things you need to know.
- 24:25Speaker 5: Ricky, Zach and Manno in the Morning.
- 24:27Speaker 4: On There's a mom who started a lot of debate online,
- 24:33Speaker 4: but not only online. She also caused a lot of
- 24:35Speaker 4: debate between Kevin and I in the one oh seven
- 24:37Speaker 4: five The River Studios today.
- 24:38Speaker 3: Yeah, for a lot of reasons. So this is the deal.
- 24:41Speaker 4: She slept in her daughter's dorm room at college the
- 24:44Speaker 4: first night that she had brought her to college. Her
- 24:47Speaker 4: daughter asked her to stay the night, and the daughter's
- 24:50Speaker 4: roommate was not there, so she stayed over.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Yes, Kevin, I think it's totally fine. At first, I
- 24:57Speaker 2: was like, oh, it's a little bit weird. But then
- 24:58Speaker 2: the more I heard about the story, the more I
- 25:00Speaker 2: was okay with it. I think that'd be a cool
- 25:01Speaker 2: thing to do.
- 25:02Speaker 4: I think it's a very strange and very weird. I again,
- 25:06Speaker 4: am just not the one with I don't have kids.
- 25:08Speaker 4: I don't know if maybe that's like a nice thing,
- 25:10Speaker 4: but I think it's really weird that the mom stayed
- 25:12Speaker 4: the night at the dorm room.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Six one, five, seven, three, seven nine one oh seven.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Where do you lie on this? I feel like the
- 25:18Speaker 2: Internet is sort of dunking on her and I'm alone
- 25:20Speaker 2: saying that it's uh, it's okay. I think it's kind
- 25:23Speaker 2: of a cool thing.
- 25:24Speaker 3: I don't know about cool Kevin cool for a.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Mom and a dub whatever six one five, seven, three, seven, nine,
- 25:30Speaker 2: one seven.
- 25:30Speaker 5: Way in Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning
- 25:34Speaker 5: on one.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Seven five The Rivers Love that song Billie Eilish Birds
- 25:38Speaker 2: of a Feather on one oh seven five The River,
- 25:40Speaker 2: Ricky and I are fighting.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Whitney and Mount Juliet.
- 25:43Speaker 4: Do you think it's strange that this mom spent the
- 25:46Speaker 4: night in her daughter's dorm room the first night or
- 25:48Speaker 4: do you think it's totally normal?
- 25:49Speaker 6: So initially, you know, I hadn't really thought about that,
- 25:52Speaker 6: and I was like, uh, And then immediately thought about
- 25:55Speaker 6: my daughter and she would be she would be nervous,
- 25:57Speaker 6: and so I think it's totally fine.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Yeah, how old is your daughter, Whitney?
- 26:02Speaker 6: I just trapped her ferment to school. She's thirteen?
- 26:04Speaker 2: Okay, great, And I get that at first glance, this
- 26:06Speaker 2: is a little bit unusual. It's not normal. But if
- 26:09Speaker 2: you are lucky enough that your kids want to spend
- 26:12Speaker 2: that kind of time with you when they're eighteen nineteen, like,
- 26:15Speaker 2: take it. That's awesome.
- 26:16Speaker 6: I think my daughter would one hundred percent want me
- 26:18Speaker 6: to stay with her a first night like that.
- 26:21Speaker 3: And I know that it's.
- 26:22Speaker 4: Nerve wracking because I mean, I did it myself. But
- 26:25Speaker 4: isn't the whole point of going to college to kind
- 26:27Speaker 4: of let your kids spread their wings and fly away,
- 26:30Speaker 4: Like you gave them all the tools to be an adult,
- 26:32Speaker 4: and now it's their turn to try to be an adult,
- 26:34Speaker 4: and that.
- 26:35Speaker 3: That's to do it without you.
- 26:37Speaker 6: Well, I think that this generation is a lot more
- 26:40Speaker 6: parented than our generation was. Think about what thirteen year
- 26:44Speaker 6: olds were doing when we were growing up as opposed
- 26:46Speaker 6: to what most of them are doing now, and it
- 26:48Speaker 6: is night and day really and so oh interesting. I
- 26:54Speaker 6: don't know. I see that in my day to day
- 26:55Speaker 6: life very much. So yeah, you're in it kind of
- 26:58Speaker 6: last time raise ourselves. We're in the middle of a
- 27:01Speaker 6: cornfield at thirteen, you know, with strangers, and our kids
- 27:05Speaker 6: are like scared of the dark and won't go to
- 27:06Speaker 6: a public restroom by themselves, and not because they they
- 27:09Speaker 6: live their life. It's just they're very much aware of
- 27:12Speaker 6: like the world we live in. They don't get to
- 27:16Speaker 6: do stuff like that, So there there's just very different.
- 27:19Speaker 3: That's an interesting take, Ricky.
- 27:20Speaker 2: To your point too, like, yes, I hear what you're
- 27:22Speaker 2: saying about, you know the college at the time when
- 27:24Speaker 2: they fly they make that flight out of the nest.
- 27:26Speaker 2: But it's just one night.
- 27:27Speaker 4: They have the rest of only one night, that one night,
- 27:30Speaker 4: and then it turns into a whole spiraling thing, you
- 27:33Speaker 4: know how it works.
- 27:33Speaker 3: It's kind of like when your kids come to you
- 27:35Speaker 3: now and they're like, I honestly been bed with you.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Is it really only gonna be one night? Or are
- 27:38Speaker 3: they going to try again tomorrow night?
- 27:39Speaker 2: For us, truly, it is one night that happens maybe
- 27:41Speaker 2: once a year.
- 27:42Speaker 4: I think you get lucky there, Kevin, because I think
- 27:44Speaker 4: normally they just go with it, you know, so I
- 27:46Speaker 4: think that's what I get nervous.
- 27:48Speaker 2: I don't think it would be a nice moment, a
- 27:50Speaker 2: nice experience, a nice memory for a mom and a daughter,
- 27:52Speaker 2: or a dad and a son or something.
- 27:54Speaker 3: See.
- 27:54Speaker 4: And I just thought Kevin was soft, But Whitney, apparently
- 27:57Speaker 4: parents are just so different now.
- 28:00Speaker 6: You know, our parents were like you're out at eighteen,
- 28:02Speaker 6: and I'm like, I could see me letting my kids
- 28:05Speaker 6: live with me until they're like twenty five thirty. Yeah,
- 28:09Speaker 6: because of how are they going to move out and
- 28:12Speaker 6: afford to move out? Like, I don't see my.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Kids, It's very hard.
- 28:15Speaker 6: You're not wrong anyway, they'll be at home, But you're
- 28:17Speaker 6: not wrong.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Well, thank you for calling Whitney. We appreciate your input.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Babs one O seven five of the River, Ricky, Zach
- 28:24Speaker 2: and Manow in the Morning.
- 28:25Speaker 4: The importance of Dolly Parton just far expands anything you
- 28:29Speaker 4: can imagine, and today's daily double tap on one oh
- 28:32Speaker 4: seven five of the River proves just that it's all
- 28:35Speaker 4: about the queen man. This is a sun talking to
