I was sad to see in the news the other day comedian Carrot Top I think his name's Scott Thompson. His name's Scott. Scott Thompson's a kid kids in the hall guy. I think Scott Thompson, common name, two Scott Thompson in comedy. But Carrot Top he he was in the hospital after a suicide attempt. one of the first stand up shows I ever saw was Carrot Top when he came to my college and one of the funniest things I ever seen, he's brilliant. I haven't seen him since then, He's been in Vegas forever. So I don't I've never been to Vegas. But if I was in Vegas, I'd want to go see Carrot Top. I know listener to this show, Joe, when I was talking about how much I love Carrot Top sent me an article. He wrote a review of Carrot Top Show in Vegas and very good review. I think somewhere in the thirty-seven star range. if you converted that review to my star system, which I believe's at thirty seven or thirty-eight stars, I forget I gotta go back and review. That's besides the point. he's f very funny. Not that being funny makes you not have other issues, success. I mean it's not about even happiness or what I I don't know. Being unhappy makes you think about killing yourself all the time. when I would get up for work at five in the morning to drive from Queens to Central Jersey to sit in a conference room. to audit some bank that doesn't exist anymore. I would think about, well, I could just kill myself. But it wasn't like really. It felt suicidal, but not like that. I didn't even get past that thought. Then I just got out of bed and had some coffee. Went to work and it was fine. Hey, I'm here now. I was just sad to hear that Carrot Top was struggling and glad that he is alive and hopefully gets help. And if you need help, get help. You call the the hotline you know a Hulu show when they have a sensitive topic at the end of the show they say, if you're having a problem with this, go to Hulu cares. Why don't you have the regular website there? Why do I gotta go through Hulu? are there ads involved in me going to Hulu Cares? It feels like you're gonna try to sell me some products when I'm saying I need help. I don't need help. I'm fine. But hopefully Carrot Top is okay. watch some Carrot Top videos. Enjoy them. And I hope Carrot Top gets better. Also, I was watching video of Ed Sheeran at his concert in Philadelphia, first concert after the Macklemore. Should we call it a debacle? What I don't know what you call it. Since he kicked McLemore off the tour because he was told he had to by Robert Kraft. the statement yeah, he's he's reading off a teleprompter. I would have said just come out there from the heart, say some shit, and at least it doesn't sound like you're reading a statement a publicist at least helps you with. I'm guessing chat GPT and a pub Well the publicist probably used ChatGPT. it lacked a little personality. If you love Ed Sheeran and you wanna see him really bad, it's hard not to take advantage of those low price tickets that are available on StubHub. Go over there. Go ahead. Treat yourself. might feel a wrong, but he already got the money. If you buy a ticket for forty bucks on Stub Hub. People are saying, Well, look, the tickets are forty dollars on Stub Hub. That sounds about right. If you're at the top row of a football field to kind of be near a concert that you gotta watch on the screen, and the video I saw from Philadelphia, this guy kept yelling, Macklemore is a bitch, the guy taking the video. 'Cause he you know, of course he's Ed Sheeran fan, he's there. he's saying, I feel bad that he's there by himself. He's like, Macklemore is a bitch he yelled it like a several times. it just seemed kinda funny to be at an Ed Sheeran concert yelling, Macklemore is a bitch. I had preconceived notions about Ed Sheeran fans that I nothing negative, but I would not expect them to be this guy in Philadelphia. so you never know with people. I'm gonna get to the news now. Boo is still just chilling. I gotta feed him soon. So let's get through the news. Israeli president overrules military to pardon soldier who killed incapacitated Palestinian attacker. Israeli president who's not Netanyahu, which is confusing. It's a different guy. Netanyahu's not the president. But he runs the country. So there's the president who kinda like you don't even know who that guy is, but he's the president. And then Netanyahu who just never goes away. But the IDF said that this soldier was guilty This happened in twenty sixteen. He shot a guy laying in the street in the head, and he was a paramedic. the guy was hurt in the street, shot him in the head. And now the Israeli president says the IDF come on you're being a little harsh on the guy and now he's pardoned But if he does that again, he's in real trouble. Disturbing body cam footage reveals mauling of stroke victim with Arizona County police dog. This dude was pulled over he was having a stroke. And the cops say, he must be on drugs. Let's sick an attack dog on him. he's not attacking anybody. He's in his car having a stroke. the cops just were so eager to pull out their guns, sick a dog on somebody, and then they still cuffed him. This guy had a stroke. He's in his 60s. Pulled over the side of the road. All fucked up. Dog mauls him and then they cuff him And that sounds like a pretty lucrative lawsuit. if you're having a stroke please don't do it in your car it's dangerous you're gonna want to do that ideally the best place to have a stroke is in the hospital if you feel like you might have a stroke coming on get to the hospital Elderly man allegedly beaten to death in Virginia, Walmart by parents of employee. Allegedly beaten to death. He's dead and he was beaten, but allegedly, it's on camera. This is so alleged you can almost not say alleged. this seventeen year old girl who worked at Walmart got into a thing with these old people, these the guy's like 76. She threw a can at them and then called her parents to say, Hey, these old people were bothering me. And then the parents show up. They're in their forties. And they confront this couple and just beat this guy. I don't know what they thought was gonna come of that. this is a very rageful family. They're all arrested. I guess they love their daughter I gotta imagine that there is some substance abuse Whatever they thought the stroke guy was on, maybe they were on. Maybe they're a kind of a methed out loving family that kind of went down a wrong path. And now they're all going to jail. Allegedly, Parents in England and Wales could be fined or jailed for child's crimes, Minister says. It's a lot of leverage for kids. your parents try to ground you, you can just say, I'll put you both in jail for murder. I'll go out and kill somebody. Yeah, that's a lot. I'm gonna go steal a car. And you'll both go to jail for a few months. How whatever you get for stealing a car. I dated a woman who went to jail for six months for stealing a car. I don't know if that's still the going rate. I found that out after we started dating. And it really didn't car theft. I met her at a 12-step meeting. things happen. She was very nice. It didn't work out. I wish her the best.
