- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on Relatables. Mummy, Daddy, leave a message for
- 0:08Speaker 1: your ex.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Glad you dumped me because turns out I was someone's
- 0:11Speaker 2: stream girl.
- 0:13Speaker 1: That's a good one. Yeah, that's a really good one
- 0:15Speaker 1: which you are learning your worthy relatable. The Relatables podcast
- 0:30Speaker 1: is hosted by myself, Jake Craig aka Daddy, my partner
- 0:34Speaker 1: in crime, Audie Clark a k A. Mummy mate. I
- 0:38Speaker 1: almost sang that, really well, Daddy, maybe should we try?
- 0:45Speaker 1: Remember we harmonized a little while ago. You don't have
- 0:47Speaker 1: to go should but we'll say daddy and so on
- 0:49Speaker 1: there the yeah, on the on the we need to harmonize,
- 0:54Speaker 1: all right, So it's seven, we're not already got it?
- 0:56Speaker 1: Counting down three, I'll go this boom boom, and then
- 0:59Speaker 1: when when my thumb hits this finger, we start with
- 1:03Speaker 1: the we did this in a brand deal in front
- 1:04Speaker 1: of like ten people. We couldn't do it when the
- 1:12Speaker 1: all kind one coming really yeah, I remember how we
- 1:13Speaker 1: had to like say the same word, the same Oh yeah, no,
- 1:15Speaker 1: that was it wasn't harmonizing. We were doing the same
- 1:17Speaker 1: thing that was in front of a crowd. Yeah, we
- 1:19Speaker 1: get nervous, Okay, okay, ready okay, saying say, daddy, okay,
- 1:22Speaker 1: we want to harmonize. I don't actually know if tone
- 1:25Speaker 1: deaf people can harmonize, but we'll see what I'm not to.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I think we are tones and eyes. She's still floating
- 1:38Speaker 1: about dance dance. I always had a thing about for
- 1:44Speaker 1: some reason, just hating her. She was not her as
- 1:46Speaker 1: a person. She was at a festival once and we
- 1:48Speaker 1: left before her tough, didn't want the crowds made all right, okay, ready, yeah,
- 1:56Speaker 1: I'm ready. What No, you gotta watch, daddy? I was late?
- 2:01Speaker 1: How was I late? Daddy? Mummy? Mummy might be easy.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Do it again, Do it again, mummy. You've got some
- 2:18Speaker 1: like what's it called when you've got that little shake
- 2:21Speaker 1: in the voice, turns it up. I got pitch, mate,
- 2:25Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you got pitch. I got skill. I've been
- 2:28Speaker 1: practicing in the shower. Okay, we actually guys, everyone listening, Guys, girls, baddies, Yeah,
- 2:36Speaker 1: welcome back. We would like to pitch a new segment
- 2:43Speaker 1: to the baddies. We would because we have some staples,
- 2:46Speaker 1: as we know, ig question staple. We have deep staple.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I don't know. I've been happy late lyast we haven't
- 2:53Speaker 1: been doing deeps. Often we're sitting on the desk. Yesterday
- 2:56Speaker 1: I was like, I've been struggling to think of deep topics.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Jays like, we've bit happy. This is hard when you're happy.
- 3:02Speaker 1: It must be dilemmas staple one of my favorite. And
- 3:07Speaker 1: then every now what else? We go to some other
- 3:09Speaker 1: ones every now and then yea, yeah, yeah, yeah, we
- 3:11Speaker 1: do like the classic within ig questions. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 3:15Speaker 1: those type of things we love about girls. But we
- 3:17Speaker 1: were thinking of another one. It was his idea kind
- 3:20Speaker 1: of like a book club, and we basically have to
- 3:27Speaker 1: We would start with a book and then Oddie and
- 3:29Speaker 1: I we both go in between recording sessions. How many
- 3:35Speaker 1: chapters do you think it's a good question because we
- 3:37Speaker 1: have to read them. Maybe it would because there's we're
- 3:39Speaker 1: going to pick a book together. Yeah, and then me
- 3:42Speaker 1: and Jake will announce how many chapters we're reading, and
- 3:45Speaker 1: anyone who wants to read along with us can do
- 3:48Speaker 1: the same thing. So we're going to give you appropriate
- 3:49Speaker 1: time to buy said book, and then we'll be like,
- 3:52Speaker 1: all right, we're reading five chapters and this episode we're
- 3:55Speaker 1: going to talk about it. Yeah, so we want to
- 3:57Speaker 1: we want to read it off camera, but then talk
- 3:59Speaker 1: about what we've as a segment. So it's going to
- 4:02Speaker 1: be a relatable's book club. Yeah, and we want everyone
- 4:04Speaker 1: to read along with us if they so desire. Yes, right,
- 4:07Speaker 1: what's the first one in mind? Because this is this
- 4:11Speaker 1: is all his idea. Yeah, it's called a Court of
- 4:14Speaker 1: Thorns and Roses. So it's a classic by Sarah Jane
- 4:17Speaker 1: or j I don't know if it's Jane j Mass,
- 4:21Speaker 1: just distream it's Jane Sarah j Mass, which it's a
- 4:27Speaker 1: series of five books. So if it works, it could
- 4:30Speaker 1: go very well. But we want to ask all the baddies. Yeah,
- 4:32Speaker 1: do you actually want us to do that? First of all,
- 4:34Speaker 1: do you want us to do if it's a yes,
- 4:36Speaker 1: is that a book you want us to read? If not,
- 4:39Speaker 1: just comment all that stuff and if not, comments and
- 4:41Speaker 1: books that you would prefer us to read. Yes, And
- 4:44Speaker 1: we can also because we've been this idea sort of
- 4:46Speaker 1: stem from we've been told to read a bit of
- 4:48Speaker 1: but we say it wrong. Oh I don't think it
- 4:51Speaker 1: is smart. I think it's something else. A lot of
- 4:53Speaker 1: comments were like these guys don't even know how to
- 4:54Speaker 1: say it. So we really but we want to educate
- 4:57Speaker 1: ourselves by reading but also reading a bit of just
- 4:59Speaker 1: start calling it more readable much. Yeah, we just want
- 5:02Speaker 1: to read some porn. That's what we want to do,
- 5:07Speaker 1: and we can read along with you guys. Yeah, get
- 5:09Speaker 1: horny together because we because we yeah we made what
- 5:15Speaker 1: did we say? We said something about schmute and how
- 5:18Speaker 1: we thought, you know, oh wild, it's crazy.
- 5:21Speaker 2: I also liked there was a couple of comments saying, like,
- 5:24Speaker 2: boys watch porn.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Girls, Yeah, girls read it. Yeah. Yeah. People said, don't
- 5:29Speaker 1: knock it to you try it. Yeah, your girlfriends may
- 5:31Speaker 1: appreciate it. Yeah. So if you guys recommend is that
- 5:35Speaker 1: is the cord of thorns and roses sexy?
- 5:38Speaker 2: I think there's a few little sexy it's not smart
- 5:40Speaker 2: to be a good teaser. A few like sexy scenes
- 5:42Speaker 2: in there. I think, okay, that could be a great
- 5:44Speaker 2: way for us to get into it.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I've also never of the minimal amount of books I've read.
- 5:50Speaker 1: I don't think I think I've read I've read The Hobbit, yeah,
- 5:56Speaker 1: but that's it. I haven't read Tuesdays already read that Yeah, No,
- 6:01Speaker 1: but like Tuesdays with Maury, So I'm talking fiction, all right.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I've only read nonfiction. The only fiction book I've read
- 6:07Speaker 1: is The Hobbit.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I've read one Harry Potter. Oh wait, no, I read
- 6:10Speaker 2: Harry Potter in school.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I've watched the movies though. Yeah, it's not
- 6:13Speaker 1: the same, is it.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 6:14Speaker 1: Tell you. What I want to do is get some
- 6:16Speaker 1: like glasses, even though I don't need them. Yeah, I
- 6:18Speaker 1: feel like i'll read better with them, Like i'll see
- 6:20Speaker 1: a photo myself. I've been prescribed glasses, so I actually
- 6:22Speaker 1: get to wed you look good. I might get myself
- 6:26Speaker 1: even though it's not blue light. Maybe I'll give myself
- 6:28Speaker 1: a kindle and we can buy all the books. Yeah, no,
- 6:30Speaker 1: let's do it on kindles. I've always wosed to look
- 6:32Speaker 1: like a page. I've always wanted to be a kindle kid. Same.
- 6:36Speaker 1: What this is it a good way to get us
- 6:39Speaker 1: into reading. Yeah, it's also forcing us to do it
- 6:41Speaker 1: because if we say on the podcast, we're going to
- 6:43Speaker 1: do it. But if I just told Jake I'm going
- 6:44Speaker 1: to read this book, I wouldn't do it. There's no way.
- 6:48Speaker 1: And another thing that's great about it is if everyone
- 6:50Speaker 1: does want to hear that it is while reading it,
- 6:55Speaker 1: we may think, oh, man, reading sucks yeah, but if
- 6:59Speaker 1: we get into it, then we're where just happy days.
- 7:01Speaker 1: People love reading. And then also it's it's content for
- 7:06Speaker 1: the podcast, and it's going to feel to think reading. Fuck.
- 7:09Speaker 1: I can't believe that just happened. I can't wait to
- 7:11Speaker 1: tell the baddies. Yeah, exactly, I can't wait to talk
- 7:13Speaker 1: about Like we'll probably start writing down notes of things
- 7:15Speaker 1: we've read. Yeah, So I'm I mean, I'm keen as
- 7:19Speaker 1: for it. You know what this is? Frontal lobe development. Okay,
- 7:23Speaker 1: talking of frontal lobe development, I had the craziest frontal
- 7:28Speaker 1: lobe development the other day. I really am showing my age.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I find that hard to believe. Okay, So yeah, I
- 7:35Speaker 1: was at dog park with obviously Beth and Henry and
- 7:38Speaker 1: then the little group that's always there, and so there
- 7:42Speaker 1: was people had left and there was about five of
- 7:45Speaker 1: us left here, so Beth, myself and then a couple
- 7:48Speaker 1: of middle aged mums. One mum had her twin daughters
- 7:52Speaker 1: that were they're in primary school still but probably year six,
- 7:55Speaker 1: so back into primary but young. And there was a
- 7:59Speaker 1: group for four teenagers, two girls, two boys. The two
- 8:02Speaker 1: boys were on bikes. Okay, the two girls were walking.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Please say you were like too fast. No no, no, no no.
- 8:08Speaker 1: So originally they did this big lap of the oval
- 8:13Speaker 1: we were at, and a fair way one hundred meters
- 8:16Speaker 1: away from us was when we first saw them because
- 8:18Speaker 1: we could hear them. They were kind of yelling and
- 8:20Speaker 1: playing around and one of the girls. One of the
- 8:23Speaker 1: guys on a bike went past one of the girls
- 8:25Speaker 1: and took her hat. They're probably just like each other
- 8:27Speaker 1: other that flirting, some sort of flirting, and so she yells,
- 8:31Speaker 1: give me back my hat. What yes, no, no, no,
- 8:36Speaker 1: these were like teenagers. The twins were in year six
- 8:39Speaker 1: and one of the mums and so these got these
- 8:43Speaker 1: were probably year nine mate, and so give me back
- 8:47Speaker 1: my hat. Sea word. And originally we're all kind of
- 8:50Speaker 1: like shit, okay. They feisty, and then they walked past
- 8:55Speaker 1: us and then through a playground where one of the
- 8:58Speaker 1: moms we were with her two twins were at this playground,
- 9:01Speaker 1: and they walked through, and then the boys were bothering
- 9:03Speaker 1: the girls, you know, trying to be flirty, and I
- 9:06Speaker 1: thought nothing of it. At this point. They were swearing,
- 9:08Speaker 1: being loud, and then they did a full lap and
- 9:11Speaker 1: they came over there's a cricket oval with a big
- 9:14Speaker 1: proper like the stadium, and there's toilets in there, and
- 9:19Speaker 1: so once they got to there, I started to get
- 9:22Speaker 1: the vibe that the guys were actually really bothering the girls,
- 9:25Speaker 1: and so I was kind of thinking, Okay, the swearing's bad,
- 9:28Speaker 1: but it's also worse if these two fifteen year old
- 9:31Speaker 1: guys are bothering these fifteen year old girls when they're
- 9:34Speaker 1: asking them to stop. And so they were still, they
- 9:37Speaker 1: were just back and forth, and I said something to Beth,
- 9:40Speaker 1: and she said, oh, look, I know it seems bad,
- 9:43Speaker 1: but coming from someone that was fifteen, if I was properly,
- 9:47Speaker 1: if they were actually bothered, they would actually leave, they
- 9:50Speaker 1: would actually leave. And yeah, she was saying they probably
- 9:55Speaker 1: do like them. So I said, okay, fairfairfair, And then
- 9:59Speaker 1: I uh saw the two guys were trying to again
- 10:06Speaker 1: go in and just like annoy the girls, and then
- 10:08Speaker 1: one of the girls was chasing them. The guys run,
- 10:11Speaker 1: they get on their bikes, they run away, and one
- 10:13Speaker 1: of the girls says, stop following us, and so but
- 10:18Speaker 1: in amongst all this is a little swearing, I'm not
- 10:19Speaker 1: saying it. And so then I said, okay. I was like,
- 10:22Speaker 1: I'm going to actually go. I said to Beth, I'm
- 10:24Speaker 1: going to actually ask the girls if therakay. I was
- 10:26Speaker 1: going to say it's better the check. Yeah, I said
- 10:28Speaker 1: to Beth, I'm actually going to go ask the girls
- 10:29Speaker 1: if they're o kay, because I heard them say this.
- 10:31Speaker 1: And she said, okay, good idea. I'm one hundred pcent
- 10:34Speaker 1: sure they're going to say they're fine and that they
- 10:37Speaker 1: know these guys and their friends and they're just playing around.
- 10:39Speaker 1: And she said, when they say that, just also add in, hey, guys,
- 10:44Speaker 1: maybe settle with the swearing.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Okay, because honestly, the swearing was bad, bro, you should
- 10:50Speaker 4: It was worse than when we when we were kids.
- 10:52Speaker 1: And so I went over and I said, I went
- 10:55Speaker 1: over to the girls and I was actually kind of nervous.
- 10:57Speaker 1: I was like shit, I said, oh, hey, girls, so
- 11:00Speaker 1: to bother those guys actually bothering you? Yeah, I was
- 11:02Speaker 1: kind of serious. So are they actually bothering you? And
- 11:04Speaker 1: they said, oh no, no, no, they're just they're just annoying.
- 11:07Speaker 1: They're just not like, okay, all good as long as
- 11:09Speaker 1: like you're one hundred percent sure that they aren't actually
- 11:11Speaker 1: bothering you. They said, no, yeah, no for sure. Sorry, sorry, sorry,
- 11:15Speaker 1: and I was like, okay, cool. I was like, maybe
- 11:16Speaker 1: just maybe around kids, just keep the swearing down a
- 11:19Speaker 1: little bit, you know. It's a bit much like.
- 11:21Speaker 4: Oh yeah, sorry, And so when I was happy, I
- 11:27Speaker 4: made sure.
- 11:28Speaker 1: But I remember walking back with Beth back to our
- 11:30Speaker 1: place and she goes, you're frontal lobe. Yeah, you actually
- 11:34Speaker 1: did it. You got it. She was like, you need
- 11:36Speaker 1: to make a video and be like guys by frontal
- 11:38Speaker 1: lobe is fucking developed because I just told some kids
- 11:40Speaker 1: to stop swearing in public. And it's like I have
- 11:44Speaker 1: the urge when there's loud music to like go over
- 11:46Speaker 1: and black guys. Yeah, it's past ten pm. Seriously. Johanna
- 11:50Speaker 1: said that one time, we have an airbnb behind us
- 11:53Speaker 1: and I was in Sydney and Johanna said that some kids,
- 11:56Speaker 1: teenagers have rented it for the weekend and they were
- 11:58Speaker 1: having a party. Oh. She really wanted to go knock
- 12:01Speaker 1: on the door. I really want to use some of
- 12:02Speaker 1: us have to go to work tomorrow. Not maybe some
- 12:05Speaker 1: of us have to go to work tomorrow. You know.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I was listening to a podcast yesterday. It was a
- 12:09Speaker 1: basement yard and they were talking about I don't know
- 12:13Speaker 1: he was in America. Girlscout cookies are a big thing, right,
- 12:16Speaker 1: and these little girl Scouts they come around and they
- 12:18Speaker 1: sell cookies. And I don't know, actually it sounds kind
- 12:20Speaker 1: of wild that a cookie business is getting girls, little
- 12:22Speaker 1: girl Scouts and sell the cookies. But and so they
- 12:26Speaker 1: were talking about girls Cout cookies and then one of
- 12:28Speaker 1: them goes, oh, I actually got I got swindled by
- 12:31Speaker 1: a family member the other day. They were doing something similar,
- 12:34Speaker 1: but they were selling boxes of Crispy Kreme donuts, and
- 12:37Speaker 1: so it was fifteen dollars a box, and I said, okay, cool,
- 12:42Speaker 1: I'll get three boxes. And the kid gives him a
- 12:46Speaker 1: voucher and says, oh, he's sweet. And on the voucher
- 12:49Speaker 1: it says, thanks for your purchase, come to any Krispy
- 12:51Speaker 1: Crean store and pick up your donuts. He had to
- 12:53Speaker 1: go collect them himself. That is an l I was
- 12:56Speaker 1: about to say, to be fair, if someone came to
- 12:59Speaker 1: my house and said, you want some Krispy cremp turn out,
- 13:01Speaker 1: so I feel like say less, yes, take my money.
- 13:05Speaker 1: And so what he said was he goes. He was
- 13:08Speaker 1: he goes. I was pissed off about it, and he
- 13:10Speaker 1: starts talking. I gave you my money, and then he
- 13:13Speaker 1: starts going he's about to say my herd earned money,
- 13:16Speaker 1: and he goes, my, I was gonna say hard earned,
- 13:19Speaker 1: but it just my money because they just have a
- 13:20Speaker 1: fucking big podcast. I'll tell you what happened. I just
- 13:24Speaker 1: got back from Bali and I was getting a lot
- 13:27Speaker 1: of massages and oh, it's good. How much is it now?
- 13:31Speaker 1: Thirteen dollars? Yeah, like fifteen eighteen. It's gone up a
- 13:33Speaker 1: little bit over there. When we went when we were nineteen,
- 13:36Speaker 1: it was nine dollars. Yeah, I know it's has gone
- 13:38Speaker 1: up the prices play economy and shit. But you talked
- 13:43Speaker 1: about like putting your foot down and saying no the
- 13:45Speaker 1: other day and sort of like that's sort of the
- 13:47Speaker 1: same thing, like talking up and voicing your opinion. And
- 13:50Speaker 1: I was getting a massage from before I left. I
- 13:54Speaker 1: was like, I'm going to get a nice one, spend
- 13:55Speaker 1: a bit of money, go to it like it was
- 13:57Speaker 1: my last massage. A little massage sign off i'd had,
- 13:59Speaker 1: like Tannaman, Yeah, yeah. And one of the I was
- 14:03Speaker 1: doing my research on TikTok and one of the perks
- 14:05Speaker 1: was first time clients getting extra fifteen minutes and I
- 14:09Speaker 1: was like, I wouldn't say that. Yeah, so I normally
- 14:11Speaker 1: get now and I was like, oh, fifteen that'd be nice.
- 14:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:14Speaker 2: I was like, oh, this is good message. What's app?
- 14:16Speaker 1: They confirm that it's an extra fifteen minutes and I
- 14:18Speaker 1: could either extra fifteen minute message or free fifteen minute
- 14:22Speaker 1: foot rub and I was like, I don't know how
- 14:24Speaker 1: I feel. I'll take the back. Yeah yeah, my feet
- 14:26Speaker 1: are ticklings.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Anyway, So I went to the place really fancy, got
- 14:29Speaker 1: the massage really good, and then I go check my
- 14:32Speaker 1: phone as you do after a massage. I was like,
- 14:34Speaker 1: wait a second, I didn't get my free fifteen minutes,
- 14:39Speaker 1: and you know what I did. I didn't say anything.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I wouldn't either. They swindled me there. How much they cost?
- 14:51Speaker 1: How much was this one? Now?
- 14:52Speaker 2: This one was like forty eight bucks. I went to
- 14:54Speaker 2: a fancy one.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Was it a good one?
- 14:56Speaker 4: It?
- 14:56Speaker 1: Was it better than the other ones over there? Yeah?
- 14:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it felt like I was in Australia and there
- 15:00Speaker 2: was like it was like a rainforest vibe and it
- 15:02Speaker 2: was like fountain and shit. To be fair, the experience
- 15:05Speaker 2: sounds they washed my feet with salt and.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Ship and sounds better. It was really good.
- 15:09Speaker 2: It was a good massage and if I didn't have that,
- 15:10Speaker 2: I would have been las the best ever. But then
- 15:12Speaker 2: after it, I was like, I almost sent you a
- 15:13Speaker 2: video but of the place. But I was in that
- 15:16Speaker 2: little massage undies and you can kind of see my cock.
- 15:18Speaker 1: And shit, oh shit, you weren't wearing undies, you know,
- 15:21Speaker 1: because they give you the undies to wear. And I
- 15:22Speaker 1: sent it the cassine. I was going to send it
- 15:23Speaker 1: to you and one of our other mates, and I
- 15:24Speaker 1: was like, oh, I can kind of see they were
- 15:27Speaker 1: supposed to keep your undies on with them. Put them
- 15:30Speaker 1: over toppy rundies.
- 15:32Speaker 4: Wait together when you and I went to Violeey together, Yes, bro,
- 15:36Speaker 4: because you can see.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Straight through them. It was like wearing one of those
- 15:39Speaker 1: chef hairnets that they wear in a cafeteria in the
- 15:42Speaker 1: United States. Just wearing them as undies. You can say
- 15:44Speaker 1: it straight. That's what you do because they get oil
- 15:46Speaker 1: on your undies otherwise that's the point of wearing them,
- 15:48Speaker 1: and then they can gather up in your butt crack
- 15:49Speaker 1: and shit. A The thing I love about Indonesia too.
- 15:52Speaker 1: A good massage is when they massage your glues, whereas
- 15:56Speaker 1: in Australia, they just like, as soon as you go
- 15:59Speaker 1: to your bomber, it's not a sexual thing at all.
- 16:01Speaker 1: My glutes are actually really tired. I'm like, this is
- 16:04Speaker 1: but here they're like bums. I'm not touching that fair
- 16:07Speaker 1: and I'm paying double the price touch me in places
- 16:13Speaker 1: I have not been touched before. I have always felt
- 16:16Speaker 1: really bad for uh massusees. What because I think going in,
- 16:27Speaker 1: I just I don't think my dad is an ugly man,
- 16:31Speaker 1: but massaging him would be fine. Right. But then there's
- 16:36Speaker 1: people I think of that, you know, probably do go
- 16:38Speaker 1: get massages where they probably not like the hairy back
- 16:42Speaker 1: imagine someone that's full, but that's you. They choose the profession, true,
- 16:48Speaker 1: Like I'm assuming they choose it, especially here. Yeah that's
- 16:53Speaker 1: a fair point.
- 16:54Speaker 2: But I reckon they would definitely be happy when they
- 16:56Speaker 2: get like a youngish skill or like yeah, I.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Didn't want to say it, like school, but when you do, Yeah,
- 17:01Speaker 1: when you get someone these young maybe maybe they like
- 17:03Speaker 1: the wrinkley skin like they might be different to me.
- 17:05Speaker 1: I don't know, you know what. I also feel as
- 17:08Speaker 1: though the the maybe ones that aren't as nice to
- 17:12Speaker 1: massage for some reason, the ones that have the confidence
- 17:15Speaker 1: to say when they don't like it as much. I
- 17:17Speaker 1: don't know that. When the mass says like, how's the pressure,
- 17:21Speaker 1: I always say, well, I will say we went. We
- 17:26Speaker 1: got one massives that was cheap in Bali, and I
- 17:29Speaker 1: was very happy that they said. She leaned down in
- 17:31Speaker 1: my ear before she started. She said one, two or three,
- 17:34Speaker 1: and then she pushed down and said one harder, two harder, three,
- 17:38Speaker 1: And I was like, oh two please. They need to
- 17:41Speaker 1: do that everywhere. What this little thing? Yeah, this is
- 17:46Speaker 1: a little thing. Well, let's get any episode, all right, Jake,
- 17:56Speaker 1: there's one thing we can all agree on. We're all
- 18:00Speaker 1: hate these two things. One cyclist, Oh yeah. Two everyone's exes,
- 18:11Speaker 1: I reckon. That would be a widely accepted they're on past,
- 18:16Speaker 1: that is a widely accepted statement.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Even if they are lovely people. You just got to
- 18:20Speaker 2: have a bit of resentment here or there.
- 18:22Speaker 1: How would you feel, right if your ex was a cyclist? Terrible?
- 18:27Speaker 1: That would make it easy to get over them, to
- 18:28Speaker 1: be Here's what I want to know. Right, Let's say
- 18:31Speaker 1: you meet someone and just amazing, first date, amazing, you
- 18:39Speaker 1: kiss on the first date. Okay, you know you're chatting
- 18:43Speaker 1: here and there and then you can start dating best. Really,
- 18:49Speaker 1: you're so happy. The honeymoon phase is in full swing. Okay, bliss.
- 18:55Speaker 1: And then they say, oh, I'm really thinking of getting
- 19:00Speaker 1: into cycling. M Yeah, why you love this person? Why
- 19:05Speaker 1: why are you getting into cycling? Just I don't mind running,
- 19:11Speaker 1: but it's really hard on my joints right and I
- 19:13Speaker 1: could cycle at the gym, but it's also really boring.
- 19:16Speaker 1: It's just not as good. I want to see the scenery.
- 19:18Speaker 1: So I'm thinking of buying this roadback, buying the Likra,
- 19:22Speaker 1: and I just want to give it a crack because
- 19:24Speaker 1: it's great for I always see people with the glutes,
- 19:27Speaker 1: the quads. It feels like I'm killing so many birds
- 19:29Speaker 1: of one stone. You know how the other day I
- 19:31Speaker 1: said I want to go on a holiday, and you're like,
- 19:33Speaker 1: I just can't afford it right now. A bike's expensive, Babe, Like, yeah,
- 19:38Speaker 1: I would prefer to go on a holiday. Then you
- 19:39Speaker 1: start this new hobby. Let's be honest, wouldn't you like
- 19:41Speaker 1: to go on a holiday? Bike doesn't set me back
- 19:43Speaker 1: that much. It's something I really want to try for myself.
- 19:45Speaker 1: But you're only thinking about the bike, Like the shoes,
- 19:48Speaker 1: the cra, Like, think about the cra, I think about
- 19:50Speaker 1: what you're going to look like. But if I think
- 19:51Speaker 1: about this, if I was to be into the gym,
- 19:53Speaker 1: I would need to buy a bunch of active where anyway,
- 19:56Speaker 1: this is this is my gym. I need to buy
- 19:59Speaker 1: one licra, maybe two lycra. Okay, I know what. The
- 20:02Speaker 1: shoes are gonna last me forever. Only one pair of them.
- 20:04Speaker 1: All right, that's all I need. It's kind of either way.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I'm going to spend the money if I go to
- 20:08Speaker 1: the gym or if I go for a cycle.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Yeah, well, like I was being nice. Have you ever
- 20:13Speaker 2: seen those trends on TikTok where it's like when your
- 20:16Speaker 2: boyfriend runs at a flock of birds and it doesn't
- 20:19Speaker 2: fly away. Yeah, if you wear lycra, that's worse than that.
- 20:23Speaker 2: I'm serious, Like this isn't don't you laugh?
- 20:26Speaker 1: But I want to get fit. You look I'm happy
- 20:28Speaker 1: with you. Yeah, I'm not having I like a dad pod. Anyway. Anyway,
- 20:38Speaker 1: this is a message for your ex. We asked the
- 20:41Speaker 1: ig question to leave a message for your ex, and
- 20:46Speaker 1: might I say jake The responses very good baddies have
- 20:52Speaker 1: hooked us up. I'm gonna start all right, leave a
- 20:57Speaker 1: message for your ex. Dude, just say you want to
- 21:00Speaker 1: fuck your mum. But if you all are weird, I
- 21:07Speaker 1: bet you so many people can relate to that. Yeah,
- 21:11Speaker 1: just admit it to yourself that connection is a little
- 21:13Speaker 1: bit too strong. It's such a nick when when a
- 21:17Speaker 1: mom gets jealous of their son, No, jealous of their
- 21:20Speaker 1: son's girlfriend. Yeah.
- 21:21Speaker 2: There's a fine line between having a good, healthy relationship
- 21:23Speaker 2: and then like obsessive.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Yeah that's a good fuck. That's funny. Leave a message
- 21:29Speaker 1: for your X. Turns out I was right. Girls have
- 21:32Speaker 1: been better than you. Oh, girls have been better. How
- 21:37Speaker 1: that work? He made her a lesbian? Oh yeah, I
- 21:40Speaker 1: didn't click two and two together. There facts, but facts.
- 21:43Speaker 1: They know how the body works. Ninety nine percent of man,
- 21:46Speaker 1: don't leave a message for your ex next time. Go
- 21:50Speaker 1: to Disneyland for the princess treatment. Oh shit? Oh is
- 21:55Speaker 1: that a guy to a girl? No?
- 21:56Speaker 2: No, no, that was a girl or a guy. He wanted
- 21:57Speaker 2: to be treated like a prince.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I will say that the how do I put this?
- 22:07Speaker 2: Ah, you like to be a princess sometimes.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Look, I don't mind being a princess sometimes, But what
- 22:12Speaker 1: is it I think there's a thing called there's a
- 22:15Speaker 1: sassy man apocalypse. Oh yeah, we've got some. And I
- 22:19Speaker 1: believe that men are getting sassy. Oh is that bad?
- 22:26Speaker 1: I don't know. Is that yeah? Right? But I mean, look,
- 22:30Speaker 1: I don't I don't try away from a cheeky little
- 22:33Speaker 1: maybe best's on her phone and I try to give
- 22:35Speaker 1: her a cuddle and she ignores me. Right, Yeah, I
- 22:37Speaker 1: don't try away from a from a huff and a
- 22:38Speaker 1: puff and a roll over. It works every time I'm
- 22:43Speaker 1: huffing out on, puffing on and then she's like, why
- 22:47Speaker 1: you're breathing just freethy? Yeah, never mind, good night, I
- 22:52Speaker 1: love you, good night. And I don't fly away from it.
- 22:56Speaker 1: That's what I'll say. That's when she scooches over and
- 22:58Speaker 1: you're a little spoony. Yeah that's right. Get off your phone.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:02Speaker 1: If I'm done on my phone, then you're done on
- 23:04Speaker 1: your Yeah that's how relationships were. Yeah, okay, leave a
- 23:09Speaker 1: message for your ex. I actually tried to get with
- 23:14Speaker 1: your friend and not you the first night we met. Oh.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I if i'd broken up with the girl, I would
- 23:23Speaker 1: actually not be too sad hearing that, Ah okay, because
- 23:28Speaker 1: I'd be like, ah, if you're the one that Yeah,
- 23:31Speaker 1: so I was yeah, yeah, yeah, because I was like,
- 23:32Speaker 1: oh you didn't really like he didn't want you either? Okay, yeah,
- 23:36Speaker 1: see that one could be broken down. Well. Also, here's
- 23:38Speaker 1: the thing is, why would you look? I know you're
- 23:41Speaker 1: telling me that I was your second choice, but also
- 23:44Speaker 1: you're telling me that you swung and missed with the
- 23:47Speaker 1: exactly ones. So maybe this isn't that that one can
- 23:50Speaker 1: be broken. This one can be easy. That that one
- 23:52Speaker 1: would be good to say if you were still dating
- 23:54Speaker 1: and didn't like because you wouldn't want to be known
- 23:57Speaker 1: as the second second swing, would you? True? You'd be
- 24:00Speaker 1: comparing yourself to But now they're broken up, you'll be like, oh,
- 24:03Speaker 1: thank good riddance. That was the second pick. True? True, true?
- 24:06Speaker 2: Leave a message for your ex. You were right to
- 24:09Speaker 2: be insecure about your brother.
- 24:12Speaker 5: What No, shut up? Some people like dogs? Who were
- 24:22Speaker 5: you more mad at brother?
- 24:24Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 24:26Speaker 2: Wow, I don't care about it. My blood related to
- 24:29Speaker 2: this bloke.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Yeah, you have to see him at every family function.
- 24:32Speaker 1: You can ignore anymore, mate, not anymore. I'm not gone
- 24:36Speaker 1: with him? Really there? Would you let? Would you let
- 24:40Speaker 1: that make it so you don't go? Or would you
- 24:44Speaker 1: because he's okay, he's the annoying thing as well, right
- 24:47Speaker 1: is if that happened, everyone in your family would probably
- 24:49Speaker 1: a pretty pissed at your brother. But also because he
- 24:52Speaker 1: is family, eventually they're going to get over it and
- 24:53Speaker 1: love him again. Yeah. So, but you're not going to
- 24:56Speaker 1: get over it. It depends how much did you love her.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Let's just say you thought she was the one and
- 25:00Speaker 1: she left you and then she started with your brother. Yeah,
- 25:02Speaker 1: that'd be tough. That's heavy road. That's a tough ste
- 25:08Speaker 1: that's so heavy. Imagine your brother was younger too, No, no,
- 25:13Speaker 1: and you always had this inkling that he had a
- 25:15Speaker 1: bigger dick than you always. Okay, leave a message for
- 25:24Speaker 1: your ex. You're so ugly that even your hairline had
- 25:28Speaker 1: to run away. You could have just paused that you're
- 25:31Speaker 1: so ugly. Leave a message for your exit. You're so ugly.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I think they're actually so. We always talk about, especially
- 25:39Speaker 1: with dilemmas, like taking the high road, Yeah, doing this,
- 25:42Speaker 1: doing that, Like, just be the bigger person. I think
- 25:44Speaker 1: there is a time and a place to be petty. Yeah,
- 25:48Speaker 1: first couple of weeks of breaking up, like, well, I
- 25:50Speaker 1: think if they've hurt you, Yeah, and the pettiness can
- 25:53Speaker 1: give you at least some form of joy. I know,
- 25:56Speaker 1: I see, I see a place for pettiness in this world.
- 25:59Speaker 1: What have I done? I have with my ex girlfriend?
- 26:05Speaker 1: I have when we broke up, she moved on very quick.
- 26:10Speaker 1: You were the opposite of petty, mate. We've told this
- 26:12Speaker 1: story before. No, I did one petty thing. Oh you did. Yeah,
- 26:15Speaker 1: I did do one petty thing and it felt Good's
- 26:18Speaker 1: let's track back. So Jake and his partner broke up
- 26:22Speaker 1: and had been a while, and then a girl message
- 26:25Speaker 1: Jake yeah, And then I was like, oh, are you
- 26:27Speaker 1: going to go talk to her, like miss Stewart And
- 26:29Speaker 1: he's like no, no, no, no, out of respect, Like
- 26:31Speaker 1: I don't think. I think it's too soon. I was like,
- 26:34Speaker 1: I had this in my back pocket, but I didn't
- 26:35Speaker 1: want tell him because he hurt his feelings. I was like, mate,
- 26:39Speaker 1: your ex moved on like a week after she's already
- 26:42Speaker 1: dating this bloke. Oh no. So basically I was devo
- 26:50Speaker 1: and I had obviously over the period of we dated
- 26:56Speaker 1: from a couple of years. Yeah, you gather things, stuff
- 27:00Speaker 1: that she's given me, photos that we've kept, and stuff
- 27:03Speaker 1: that we've got printed and So I had this little
- 27:08Speaker 1: box and I just I just put all the ship
- 27:13Speaker 1: in it that she had given me. And I could
- 27:16Speaker 1: have thrown it out. I remember walking past my bin
- 27:19Speaker 1: being like, I could just throw this out and move
- 27:21Speaker 1: on that way. But I went and I just chucked
- 27:24Speaker 1: on a driveway. Really yeah, and then I just went
- 27:27Speaker 1: off and I said, yeah, you can look at that,
- 27:29Speaker 1: looks through all that shit, fuck you, and I'm not
- 27:33Speaker 1: gonna lie. It felt semi good. I wouldn't say that's
- 27:36Speaker 1: that petty. No, is the only petty bit about that? Oh,
- 27:40Speaker 1: I added that in I placed it, So that's That's
- 27:47Speaker 1: the pettiest thing I think I've done is probably that.
- 27:49Speaker 1: I would say, I'm trying to you in your car
- 27:53Speaker 1: pulling up. What did I have it at the time?
- 27:55Speaker 1: I had had a trip at the time. Okay, that's
- 27:56Speaker 1: kind of cool. You're looking around seeing if anyone was
- 27:59Speaker 1: looking at you, run and place the box and then
- 28:02Speaker 1: scurry your ways and you get to keep that. That's right, bitch.
- 28:06Speaker 1: I wonder actually, I wonder how long she kept it
- 28:08Speaker 1: for because she must have just chucked it out straight away.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Who knows she might still have it. Imagine you had
- 28:12Speaker 1: to glow up, dude, leave a message for your ex.
- 28:19Speaker 1: We've been done six months. Stop crying. Oh what? Some
- 28:24Speaker 1: guys straight up grovel. Yeah, I have been told. I
- 28:29Speaker 1: like that word grovel. Grovel. Guys grovel, yeah they do.
- 28:33Speaker 1: I've had I've had girlfriends tell me that they've had
- 28:35Speaker 1: an ex that will send them snapchats of the of
- 28:37Speaker 1: a tear coming down their face. Oh yeah, you wouldn't
- 28:40Speaker 1: want to know. We wouldn't want to know what some
- 28:42Speaker 1: guys do byd closed doors. They're like grovel, I know, yeah,
- 28:47Speaker 1: they do. Some li sustu that is insane. That said
- 28:50Speaker 1: that she at her ex used to come and knock
- 28:55Speaker 1: on her door and ask to talk to her, and
- 28:57Speaker 1: she'd just be.
- 28:58Speaker 2: Like, no, No, they always I've heard heaps of You'll say,
- 29:00Speaker 2: they always.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Can we just like talk? Yeah, like I just need
- 29:03Speaker 1: some me just talk. I just want some Can we
- 29:04Speaker 1: meet up? And like no? And you know, it's so
- 29:07Speaker 1: embarrassing for Beth's X. And so he'd come and he'd
- 29:11Speaker 1: be groveling, trying to trying to apologize. He didn't cheat
- 29:14Speaker 1: or anything. He just was, as far as I could
- 29:17Speaker 1: serve best, he's just ship boyfriend, right, And so he
- 29:21Speaker 1: would come to a grovel trying to apologize and I
- 29:23Speaker 1: think trying to get her back. And at this point
- 29:25Speaker 1: in time, her best best friend had moved in, and
- 29:29Speaker 1: so she was she could also hear it. But he
- 29:32Speaker 1: didn't know that best's best friend was there, and so
- 29:35Speaker 1: he does. I don't know if he knows that Beth's
- 29:37Speaker 1: best friend just heard all the groveling and Beth just
- 29:39Speaker 1: going not letting him in the house. Imagine how much
- 29:44Speaker 1: it would hurt if he finds out. The best thing
- 29:47Speaker 1: as being the new boyfriend is hearing like your partner
- 29:50Speaker 1: talk about the X and all the toxic ship they
- 29:51Speaker 1: did and you're like, yeah, yeah, this guy, Yes, this
- 29:55Speaker 1: is crazy. I'm so glad you got out. I don't
- 29:57Speaker 1: even it's the best thing. It is, honestly, so so good.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Wow you leave a message for your ex, still waiting
- 30:09Speaker 1: for that orgasm. You promise. Ah, we promise the world.
- 30:13Speaker 1: We always do. We deliver like Australia Post not on time.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Australia Post is actually shit. Yeah, it's not great. I
- 30:22Speaker 1: was thinking of the worst one. I was like, Amazon's
- 30:23Speaker 1: pretty good, so I won't say them. Yeah, but Australia
- 30:25Speaker 1: Post they don't give you a little letter saying it's
- 30:28Speaker 1: at the post office anymore. You have to make an
- 30:31Speaker 1: account with Australia and they send you a message. But
- 30:35Speaker 1: they haven't told anyone that that's what they're doing. That's
- 30:37Speaker 1: so annoying. But now they don't leave you a little letter.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Joanna had stuff at the post office for two weeks.
- 30:41Speaker 1: I don't care if my thing's worth a couple thousand dollars.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Leave it at my front door. Yeah, same, I agree.
- 30:45Speaker 1: I also agree because the inconvenience of going to the
- 30:48Speaker 1: post office know and finding the one it's at. Yea.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Sometimes it goes to some Mine went like fifteen minutes
- 30:53Speaker 1: away one time and I was like, well are you
- 30:55Speaker 1: taking it there? Living here is weird? One time I
- 30:57Speaker 1: had one that was a forty minute drive, was in
- 30:59Speaker 1: Tugra once tugging to get this stupid it. Didn't even
- 31:01Speaker 1: do I want it that bad? I just genuinely question
- 31:04Speaker 1: how bad do I want this item that I spent
- 31:05Speaker 1: money on? Because I'm gonna spend money on fuel at
- 31:07Speaker 1: that time going to get it and then but where
- 31:09Speaker 1: I live now here would be okay if they just
- 31:12Speaker 1: took me to the Vocal post office. Yeah, but where
- 31:14Speaker 1: I live now. It's it's one hundred meters of walks,
- 31:15Speaker 1: so it's good. I don't mind it. Fair fair, Okay,
- 31:18Speaker 1: this one probably the best one. Leave a message for
- 31:20Speaker 1: your ex. Bro is twenty five and still hasn't found
- 31:24Speaker 1: a haircut that suits him. Oh that's an insult. Wow,
- 31:30Speaker 1: he's definitely got that like haircut where the like how
- 31:34Speaker 1: your hair goes like that. But it's like over here,
- 31:36Speaker 1: you got too much of the skin fade on top.
- 31:42Speaker 1: That is, And she's been live for the whole time
- 31:44Speaker 1: they we dating. When you get the trim, she's like, baby,
- 31:45Speaker 1: looks so hot. You look good. That sucks. I can't
- 31:52Speaker 1: just I don't even think I found a haircut. You
- 31:55Speaker 1: don't really get hair I don't really get haircuts, so
- 31:58Speaker 1: it just molded around your head. Yeah, so I just
- 32:00Speaker 1: let it grow and then I could a cut every
- 32:01Speaker 1: six months or something. So I mean to be fair.
- 32:05Speaker 1: You know what that means is he's just unfortunately ugly,
- 32:09Speaker 1: like genetically his hair because people just let you you're
- 32:15Speaker 1: the same though. You get a haircut, you also you
- 32:16Speaker 1: just your hair grows in the way it grows. Yeah,
- 32:19Speaker 1: you get a hair cut. And I was like a
- 32:20Speaker 1: and I used to have a couple of bad trims. Really, yeah,
- 32:23Speaker 1: what are you going for? Like that? What I explained,
- 32:24Speaker 1: That's what I thought. Like the prop at the side
- 32:26Speaker 1: was a bit more over here.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it just didn't like my head, This just didn't flow.
- 32:29Speaker 1: There was no flow, remember justin Bieber. Yeah, the Beaba
- 32:33Speaker 1: trim like the bowl cut. See, we went through phases
- 32:35Speaker 1: though I never had one of them. Why did people
- 32:37Speaker 1: think that looked good? Because I really JB had it.
- 32:40Speaker 1: That's what. Here's the thing I want to point out
- 32:43Speaker 1: is that we all hated JB, but we all copied
- 32:45Speaker 1: his haircut. Yeah, why did we do that? Did we? Like?
- 32:48Speaker 1: Our friend had one and I wouldn't. He looks more
- 32:50Speaker 1: like from the Beatles, not JB. He looks like it
- 32:55Speaker 1: looks like a nineteen sixties British teenager. Yeah yeah, shit
- 33:00Speaker 1: all right, Jake, I'm a bit stressed.
- 33:02Speaker 2: I've been trying to book a romantic getaway for myself
- 33:04Speaker 2: and my girlfriend for a birthday. Mate, you are a
- 33:07Speaker 2: green flag and I'm feeling so much pressure right now.
- 33:12Speaker 2: What we both want is a couple of things. Actually,
- 33:15Speaker 2: it has to have a pool because we're there over
- 33:16Speaker 2: the weekend and it's meant to be sunny dog friendly
- 33:18Speaker 2: for Cassie's dog. This one's a bit rogue, a big kitchen,
- 33:22Speaker 2: a good location near nice restaurants, and obviously, Matte, it's
- 33:26Speaker 2: got to be romantic for us too.
- 33:27Speaker 1: First off, why do you need a big kitchen? Second off,
- 33:32Speaker 1: what are you worried about? Mate? I've got three words
- 33:35Speaker 1: for you. That's Airbnb guest favorites. I'll get to the
- 33:39Speaker 1: kitchen bit. But what are you talking about? Listen up?
- 33:41Speaker 1: I went through the same thing a little while ago
- 33:43Speaker 1: when me and my girlfriend were planning our anniversary, and
- 33:46Speaker 1: that's when I came across guest favorites. Once we'd agreed
- 33:49Speaker 1: on our non negotiables, I use the little guest favorites
- 33:52Speaker 1: tab and it showed us all the homes that other
- 33:54Speaker 1: guests have loved, So then we knew we would too.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Honestly, that sounds like a bit of a game changer.
- 34:00Speaker 2: I want to run you through what I've got plan
- 34:01Speaker 2: and tell me what you think. So we rock up Friday,
- 34:04Speaker 2: drop our stuff off, and then I've got a sunset picnic.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Plant, mate, sounds pretty good. Then Saturday, just want to
- 34:11Speaker 1: chill by the pool all day, get our zen time
- 34:13Speaker 1: in and by the afternoon we want to attempt here's
- 34:16Speaker 1: where the kitchen comes in, Mate to bake her birthday cake. Ah,
- 34:20Speaker 1: I see, I see. I don't know how well it
- 34:22Speaker 1: will go, but to finish the night, obviously, we're going
- 34:25Speaker 1: to have a romantic dinner, but it does have to
- 34:28Speaker 1: be close by because I want to come back to
- 34:29Speaker 1: our airbnb and give.
- 34:31Speaker 3: Her her presents. Mate, it sounds like a pretty good plan. Oh,
- 34:36Speaker 3: you may have outdone me, but I don't know about that.
- 34:38Speaker 3: But yeah, hey, stop stressing. Airbnb has got you covered.
- 34:42Speaker 3: Hopefully neither of the girls are listening to this episode.
- 34:45Speaker 3: Fingers crossed, leave a message for your X. Let's see
- 34:48Speaker 3: if you get this. By the way, it's.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Not that common. It doesn't happen to every guy, and
- 34:54Speaker 1: it is a big deal. What's that from Addie?
- 34:58Speaker 2: It's from a movie, but he came before he it in.
- 35:00Speaker 1: It's Rachel Green from Friends. She's yelling it to as
- 35:04Speaker 1: they break up, but he walks out. That's a good scene.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Have you ever done it before? Having sex finish? Yeah?
- 35:13Speaker 4: No, I've always been able to get to the point,
- 35:15Speaker 4: but I actually think it would be I've had moments
- 35:18Speaker 4: where I think it would have been less embarrassing to
- 35:19Speaker 4: have finished before I put it in, because I may
- 35:21Speaker 4: as well not even start.
- 35:22Speaker 1: I'll tell you what men think. So the finish line
- 35:24Speaker 1: for men is getting it in yeah, where we technically
- 35:29Speaker 1: had sex, where the finish line should be making them finish.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yes, we completed sex. I think I
- 35:43Speaker 1: have a theory that a lot of men of vanilla
- 35:47Speaker 1: purely for the fact that anything more than vanilla would
- 35:52Speaker 1: make it so we don't last long.
- 35:53Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 35:56Speaker 1: I think that so being vanilla is kind of a
- 36:00Speaker 1: gapegoat for actually being able to at least give some pleasure. Yeah, oh,
- 36:05Speaker 1: I say, I say your point, like, if we move
- 36:06Speaker 1: too much, like I'm going to finish yeah, and if
- 36:09Speaker 1: I don't know, if we get too into it, you know,
- 36:11Speaker 1: if you obviously love a bit of lingerie, you know
- 36:15Speaker 1: I love a good build up, all right, too much
- 36:18Speaker 1: build up, So too much build up is maybe doing
- 36:20Speaker 1: too much because you're not going to get anything, and
- 36:23Speaker 1: I'm going to get everything.
- 36:24Speaker 2: I don't think I could see lingerie like.
- 36:26Speaker 1: A sexy little dance. It sucks, and then I would
- 36:28Speaker 1: be like yeah, yeah, I mean like looking up, like,
- 36:34Speaker 1: think about my grandma. Yeah, all right, this one's funny.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Leave a message for your X. You're the reason catch
- 36:43Speaker 2: and release was enforced.
- 36:51Speaker 1: That's a good one. Wow, get out of you. You're
- 36:54Speaker 1: too small. That is fucked bro. So that's so intricate. Yeah,
- 37:02Speaker 1: it's good. That one was good intricate. Leave a message
- 37:06Speaker 1: for your ex. Man, this would fuck me up. Your
- 37:10Speaker 1: large nipples really turned me off. That would fuck I
- 37:15Speaker 1: think that one's too personal. Yeah, not everyone has like yeah,
- 37:20Speaker 1: well I think also not that way. I think it's
- 37:22Speaker 1: like too mean. Yeah, he's probably insecure about his pepperoni
- 37:26Speaker 1: fair but hey, pettiness again. Yeah, we're going to attack
- 37:29Speaker 1: in security. If that's the only way to get to
- 37:32Speaker 1: someone attacking their insecurities must be it might be the
- 37:35Speaker 1: way to go.
- 37:35Speaker 2: Leave a message for your ex going off pettiness. My
- 37:40Speaker 2: new boyfriend's dick is bigger.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't say that to someone also as the
- 37:47Speaker 1: new boyfriend. If I knew you were saying that to
- 37:48Speaker 1: your X. Yeah, I feel as though you're not over him.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Why do we need to get he still is living
- 37:55Speaker 1: in your head? Rent free, don't make me complicated that
- 37:57Speaker 1: we're not talking about the present boyfriend, we're being toxic
- 37:59Speaker 1: to the X. I also couldn't hear said thing, but
- 38:02Speaker 1: also like, yeah, facts, no, no, no, he's actually something.
- 38:06Speaker 1: I think I would prefer the new boyfriend to have
- 38:09Speaker 1: a bigger dick than me than a past boyfriend having
- 38:13Speaker 1: a bigger dick than me. True because at the time
- 38:15Speaker 1: she thought it was good. Yeah. Yeah, if you're if
- 38:20Speaker 1: I knew that my girlfriend's past boyfriends had a big
- 38:23Speaker 1: dick than me, I think I would feel more insecure
- 38:24Speaker 1: than knowing she moved on to a bigger one man.
- 38:26Speaker 1: No insecure people, Yeah, we really are very insecure people,
- 38:31Speaker 1: especially about that what happened. Why didn't they give us
- 38:35Speaker 1: all the same size? Yeah? If God existed, he would
- 38:38Speaker 1: have created a quality. Yeah yeah, yeah in every aspect.
- 38:42Speaker 1: I also will add in every single you know what
- 38:44Speaker 1: I would say if I was the boyfriend, prove it? Yeah,
- 38:47Speaker 1: you know what, fuck it, prove it, I want to say.
- 38:49Speaker 1: I want to see yeah the judge, Yeah, I want
- 38:52Speaker 1: to see it in my own eyes. Yeah, mine's grown.
- 38:54Speaker 1: I don't even know those two would end up having
- 38:58Speaker 1: sex because she's not over him. Yeah yeah, yeah, that
- 39:02Speaker 1: is so true. Then you're like, it looks like it
- 39:04Speaker 1: hurts you have some gentle leave a message for your X.
- 39:10Speaker 1: Sure block me with the same fingers. They couldn't make
- 39:13Speaker 1: me finish. I'd be like, you, curse you, curse you,
- 39:24Speaker 1: curse you. It's probably the all guys some reason have
- 39:28Speaker 1: this lock pinky. Why do you guys get that? Have
- 39:29Speaker 1: you seen that? Hips of our friends haven't? Yeah? What
- 39:33Speaker 1: imagine me a girl and you see your boyfriend this
- 39:35Speaker 1: locked lock like he's maybe he's good for the clip,
- 39:39Speaker 1: but who's doing like that? Every guy has this weird
- 39:44Speaker 1: locked pinky. I know a few people I normally like.
- 39:46Speaker 1: I see it on like grandparents. And you're like, well,
- 39:48Speaker 1: that's fair if you meet it. If if you meet
- 39:51Speaker 1: a dude and he can't open all of his fingers fully, yeah,
- 39:54Speaker 1: I think you should run. Leave a message for your X.
- 40:00Speaker 2: I was tired of being the only one to finish,
- 40:02Speaker 2: so I finished our relationship.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Facts facts, bro, leave a message for your X. Your
- 40:08Speaker 1: huge dick is wasted on you. Oh, to be fair like,
- 40:11Speaker 1: I take that as a compliment. To be fair like,
- 40:18Speaker 1: that's quite a nice thing to hear. You'd be like,
- 40:20Speaker 1: I've got one and be like, I know I may
- 40:22Speaker 1: not know how to use it. I would be like,
- 40:24Speaker 1: you try to use this thing. Yeah, I need a
- 40:27Speaker 1: license to this. You try to use this thing. Not
- 40:31Speaker 1: many people catch and release this.
- 40:32Speaker 2: Bad Yeah all right, my last one.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Leave a message for your ex. Glad you dumped me.
- 40:38Speaker 2: Because turns out I was someone's dream girl.
- 40:41Speaker 1: That's a good one. Yeah, that's a really good one,
- 40:43Speaker 1: which you are learning your worth. Yeah, leave a message
- 40:46Speaker 1: for your X. If only your dick was as big
- 40:51Speaker 1: as the dick you are, maybe it would have given
- 40:53Speaker 1: me a reason to stay. Girls know how to hit
- 40:58Speaker 1: a guy where it hurts. Yeah, right in between his
- 41:02Speaker 1: legs most both physically and mentally. Both gayers don't know
- 41:05Speaker 1: how to talk about their feelings. You don't hit them there.
- 41:07Speaker 1: You hit him where it hurts, which is then Willie.
- 41:09Speaker 1: You could say anything about a guy's intellect, about his
- 41:13Speaker 1: h his mental strength is emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence. You
- 41:18Speaker 1: could say anything about the size of his hands, the
- 41:20Speaker 1: side of his feet. You can even say stuff about
- 41:22Speaker 1: his height. Height is a good one. I will say
- 41:24Speaker 1: it's very second to the size of penis. All you
- 41:27Speaker 1: need to do is say, babes, I' just gonna let
- 41:31Speaker 1: you know that ship has lying to you for a while.
- 41:34Speaker 1: That shit is small. If I got like cheated on,
- 41:37Speaker 1: I actually like didn't end on good terms. I hold
- 41:39Speaker 1: one hundred percent begone that petty Yeah, even if his
- 41:41Speaker 1: dick is me and I'd have receipts from like Google
- 41:43Speaker 1: image is saying this is my new vie. We don't
- 41:47Speaker 1: have anything. No, we don't have anything nothing. It's fucking bullshit.
- 41:55Speaker 1: I got one more. Leave a message for your X.
- 41:59Speaker 1: When you said quote that kiss felt good on my lips,
- 42:04Speaker 1: all my lips dried up. Oh I reckon.
- 42:08Speaker 2: How many guys do you think have said like a
- 42:10Speaker 2: one liner, like a cringy one liner. And because the
- 42:12Speaker 2: girl liked the dude, she's like yeah, but in reality
- 42:14Speaker 2: she's like, oh my god, that made me dry.
- 42:15Speaker 4: See.
- 42:16Speaker 1: But that's how it is. That's that's exactly how it works.
- 42:18Speaker 1: A guy that you do want to talk to you,
- 42:20Speaker 1: he could say anything. Yeah, I saw a lot of things.
- 42:22Speaker 1: I saw a lot of things with like cactus emojis,
- 42:24Speaker 1: like he made me this dry. Like that's a sign.
- 42:31Speaker 2: Go leave a voicemail for your extor Christ Yeah, do.
- 42:33Speaker 1: It, Okay, dilemmas, guys, you know what to do. Dilemmas
- 42:44Speaker 1: will be in this description of this episode, yes I
- 42:48Speaker 1: say video episode, and also it will be in the
- 42:52Speaker 1: description of Instagram it is let's go okay, Hey boys,
- 42:56Speaker 1: love the pod. You guys got me through my first
- 42:59Speaker 1: breakup and I've been a Patreon baddie ever since. She
- 43:02Speaker 1: sent this on the normal dilemmas too, so I've been
- 43:05Speaker 1: with my current boyfriend for only two months now, so
- 43:08Speaker 1: still very fresh. He is twenty one and I am nineteen.
- 43:12Speaker 1: We stayed each other's places frequently, and as he is
- 43:14Speaker 1: a trade he always leaves for work earlier than I do.
- 43:17Speaker 1: One morning, one morning, I was looking for some painkillers
- 43:21Speaker 1: in the top drawer of his bedside table after he'd
- 43:23Speaker 1: left for work, and I saw a few photo strips
- 43:26Speaker 1: from a photo booth of him kissing a girl. The
- 43:30Speaker 1: photo strips were dated to have been taken in twenty
- 43:33Speaker 1: twenty two at a school function. I have felt a
- 43:36Speaker 1: little uneasy since I saw them. So my dilemma is
- 43:39Speaker 1: should I bring it up with him or just not
- 43:41Speaker 1: mention anything since the relationship is new, I'm just not
- 43:45Speaker 1: sure how to approach my feelings about it. What do
- 43:48Speaker 1: you guys think from a man's perspective, is it common
- 43:51Speaker 1: for a guy to keep photos from past relationships. He
- 43:55Speaker 1: is genuinely the most green flag man I have ever met,
- 43:57Speaker 1: and I don't want to mess it up. If this
- 43:59Speaker 1: is a an issue, please help me girl out much
- 44:01Speaker 1: love from across the ditch.
- 44:04Speaker 2: Let's start at the end there. They've been talking for well,
- 44:06Speaker 2: they're in a relationship now for two months.
- 44:08Speaker 1: Two months. I think that's long enough to get rid
- 44:11Speaker 1: of said photos. Yeah. Once I start talking to someone
- 44:14Speaker 1: and if I had photos from a previous relationship, I'm like,
- 44:16Speaker 1: see ya, yeah, Ben, Like I don't want to look
- 44:19Speaker 1: at him. Yeah. Some people funny about photos. Some people
- 44:23Speaker 1: think it's a part of my life that you know,
- 44:27Speaker 1: I don't want to forget because it was part of
- 44:29Speaker 1: my life.
- 44:31Speaker 2: I think, out of respect throng away. But I think
- 44:33Speaker 2: what has happened here is because it is somewhat still fresh. Yeah,
- 44:36Speaker 2: he doesn't know they're there, because.
- 44:38Speaker 1: To be fair, from my own experience, I have probably
- 44:43Speaker 1: gone six months without opening my bedside table.
- 44:45Speaker 2: D Yeah, the bedside table there is normally a card
- 44:47Speaker 2: and I was like, oh, I fuck forgot about that.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Yeah for that away. Yeah, I could go six months.
- 44:51Speaker 1: I could go a year without opening it. Yeah. Yeah,
- 44:55Speaker 1: so there's a good chance he does forget that it's
- 44:58Speaker 1: in there. Yeah, unless you know for a fact he
- 45:01Speaker 1: opens that shit daily or weekly, or if it's like
- 45:04Speaker 1: it's monthly toothbrustdraw or something. Yeah, it sounds like it's
- 45:07Speaker 1: his little medicine draw. But again I have I have
- 45:10Speaker 1: pandole in places where I know it is, but I
- 45:13Speaker 1: always go to the main medicine cabinet. Still, so I
- 45:15Speaker 1: don't know. So unless you know for a fact he
- 45:16Speaker 1: always opens this thing, I think bring it up with him.
- 45:20Speaker 1: I think you have complete right to bring it up
- 45:21Speaker 1: with you, one hundred percent honest. Yeah, and just say
- 45:23Speaker 1: what you were doing, how you found it. You have
- 45:26Speaker 1: no reason to lie, and just let him know you
- 45:30Speaker 1: found it. And I don't straight away do you think
- 45:33Speaker 1: say it just made me feel a little I would say,
- 45:38Speaker 1: like initially my heart like sunk a little bit, but like,
- 45:41Speaker 1: do you have any explanation for it? Yeah, And he
- 45:43Speaker 1: might he might say fuck, I forgot about that, and
- 45:45Speaker 1: he might throw it out in front of you. It's
- 45:46Speaker 1: good you'll see the like facial expression and be like,
- 45:48Speaker 1: oh my god, I'm so sorry. Yeah, we didn't even
- 45:50Speaker 1: like he probably embarrassed or he'll be like you'll see
- 45:52Speaker 1: it in his facial expression and be like, oh shit,
- 45:54Speaker 1: she found me, she found out my secret. So it's
- 45:57Speaker 1: all yeah, I think you got bring it up. Yeah,
- 45:58Speaker 1: bring it up one hundred percent, and you don't don't
- 46:00Speaker 1: dwell on it and like just let your head spiral
- 46:02Speaker 1: because you're like, like, get the answers you need better
- 46:06Speaker 1: two months in than two years. In two years, I
- 46:08Speaker 1: think there'll be an issue. I reckon there's a good
- 46:10Speaker 1: like you should open that draw within two years. Yeah,
- 46:13Speaker 1: about once a year that draws. Yeah, yeah, at least
- 46:16Speaker 1: I think. I think I'm pretty confident that it's fully
- 46:22Speaker 1: fine and he is going to especially if he's giving
- 46:25Speaker 1: you green flag flag energy. Most green flag mender wouldn't
- 46:29Speaker 1: know it's that. Yeah, I think. Yeah, I think he's
- 46:32Speaker 1: going to say ship, I'm so sorry and chuck it
- 46:34Speaker 1: out straight away. Forgot I had that. I agree, I
- 46:37Speaker 1: have it over my drawer for six months. What do
- 46:42Speaker 1: you mean, benside Tims, I don't even know what that
- 46:45Speaker 1: would sound like. Alrighty my dilemma. Hi boys, I'm a
- 46:54Speaker 1: new listener from the UK and love the Binge all
- 46:56Speaker 1: your old episodes at work, I just sit at my
- 46:59Speaker 1: desk laughing to my haha. My dilemma is.
- 47:02Speaker 2: Probably a bit trivial to some people, and you might
- 47:04Speaker 2: be thinking how silly it sounds, but I really like
- 47:07Speaker 2: some advice from a male's perspective. So for background purposes,
- 47:11Speaker 2: I am a twenty five year old girl and recently
- 47:14Speaker 2: single following a breakup from a very very serious relationship
- 47:18Speaker 2: in Brackets. We actually split while traveling Australia together.
- 47:22Speaker 1: Low and Brackets. I've moved back to the UK and
- 47:26Speaker 1: taken some time to be on my own, which I
- 47:28Speaker 1: think is super important following a breakup. I also love
- 47:32Speaker 1: my own company, which is a big deal for me.
- 47:36Speaker 1: My problem is that I can't avoid male attention. I
- 47:41Speaker 1: know it sounds like a narcissist, but it genuinely bothers me.
- 47:44Speaker 1: I find that in a lot of environments I spend
- 47:47Speaker 1: my time in, particularly the gym, men tend to befriend
- 47:51Speaker 1: me and they don't really leave me alone. I think
- 47:54Speaker 1: the problem is I'm not a super dismissive person just
- 47:57Speaker 1: because it's my nature, but the men mistake this for
- 48:00Speaker 1: flirting or wanting to build a relationship with me. It
- 48:03Speaker 1: happens several It has happened several times now, even to
- 48:07Speaker 1: the point where they keep asking to do things outside
- 48:10Speaker 1: the said place where we met, which can be really,
- 48:13Speaker 1: really awkward when I don't want to.
- 48:15Speaker 2: Like I said, I really enjoy being on my own
- 48:18Speaker 2: and want to take this time to be by myself.
- 48:21Speaker 2: I don't feel the need to rely on male validation,
- 48:24Speaker 2: and I only want to spend time with people who
- 48:27Speaker 2: don't have an ulterior motive with me. And it feels
- 48:30Speaker 2: like these guys only want one thing. I've told them all.
- 48:33Speaker 2: I've recently come out of relationship and don't want anything
- 48:36Speaker 2: like that, but men do not take no for an answer.
- 48:39Speaker 2: My ex used to tell me that I could be
- 48:41Speaker 2: overly friendly with men when I laugh at their jokes.
- 48:44Speaker 2: It could make them feel good, but it doesn't mean
- 48:46Speaker 2: I'm interested in them. To me, I just think I'm
- 48:48Speaker 2: being polite and would react the same way if a
- 48:51Speaker 2: female was making a joke. So how do I avoid
- 48:54Speaker 2: these situations and make men understand I don't want anything
- 48:58Speaker 2: to do with them without sounding rude, because, let's face it,
- 49:01Speaker 2: men can be scary when you reject them. Facts also
- 49:05Speaker 2: just wanted to say you guys have changed my perspective
- 49:07Speaker 2: on men in society today, and I really appreciate your
- 49:09Speaker 2: emotional maturity, communion, communication skills, and ability to understand women.
- 49:13Speaker 2: Thank you for sharing this so other men can hear
- 49:16Speaker 2: how you guys think. Sorry, by the way, it was
- 49:18Speaker 2: really long.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Thanks girl. Damn, I don't think it's narcissistic. Narcissistic. Well,
- 49:25Speaker 1: just she's saying narcissist at the start that it might
- 49:27Speaker 1: sound narcissistic. No, it's it's not narcissistic if it's happening
- 49:31Speaker 1: to you. Yeah, not at all. It's just it's just
- 49:35Speaker 1: she's like, it kind of comes across as like I'm
- 49:37Speaker 1: so hot. It's just for some reason, it's so frowned
- 49:39Speaker 1: upon to tell too, to admit that you're attractive. Yeah. Yeah,
- 49:44Speaker 1: I don't know why. Hundred percent. For some reason it
- 49:47Speaker 1: is some people. You if someone was to say, I know,
- 49:52Speaker 1: I'm hot, people would be like, narcissist. Don't want that
- 49:57Speaker 1: person in my life. Your Yeah, you're fulliest elf. No
- 50:00Speaker 1: one's allowed to have self efficacy anymore. No, not at all.
- 50:03Speaker 1: It's weird.
- 50:04Speaker 2: It's such a valid problem because it's happening to you.
- 50:07Speaker 1: So yeah, I think because of the proof of it happening.
- 50:09Speaker 1: You're not. You didn't say word for word, I'm super
- 50:11Speaker 1: hot and I can't get rid of get rid of guys.
- 50:13Speaker 1: You would just strap said because I cannot avoid male attention.
- 50:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and fuck, it must be so difficult, Like women
- 50:21Speaker 2: live in completely different worlds, especially in these scenarios. Like
- 50:24Speaker 2: I'm trying to relate to her, like in my head
- 50:26Speaker 2: when I was reading it, I'm like going to the
- 50:27Speaker 2: gym and imagining said scenario, and it must be very difficult.
- 50:31Speaker 2: Like imagine if you just want to work out and
- 50:34Speaker 2: some guy just keeps going like like, hey, how you
- 50:36Speaker 2: being like, oh, you want to come hang out after
- 50:38Speaker 2: like and then making probably some snide remarks of how
- 50:40Speaker 2: good you're looking and stuff like that, probably and you're like, mate,
- 50:43Speaker 2: I can read between the lines. It must be just very,
- 50:47Speaker 2: very difficult. So I do feel for you in that.
- 50:49Speaker 1: Aspect of it. No, it would be something, but I
- 50:51Speaker 1: reckon we can help it. It's sort of like not
- 50:54Speaker 1: humbling a man. But how do we reject a guy
- 50:57Speaker 1: without making the scenario scary for her? All like confronting?
- 51:02Speaker 1: I want to know where they get the fucking confidence
- 51:05Speaker 1: some at it? Well, this is out of Australia. This
- 51:08Speaker 1: wouldn't happen, No, rarely, but I'd be rare if it did.
- 51:11Speaker 1: Other countries. Guys are confident. Man Europe, Yeah shit, she
- 51:15Speaker 1: says from the UK.
- 51:16Speaker 2: Yeah, europe guys are just like because a lot of
- 51:18Speaker 2: Europeans come to Australia and they're like, guys, just don't
- 51:20Speaker 2: come up to you.
- 51:22Speaker 1: We've had a bunch of a bunch of dilemmas. Yeah
- 51:26Speaker 1: about that. So let's get in the mindset of this girl.
- 51:30Speaker 2: So she's at the gym. You want to set obviously
- 51:32Speaker 2: looking good, wants to be in it. I appreciate the
- 51:35Speaker 2: independent gym time. You just want to listen to your beats,
- 51:37Speaker 2: fucking dance, a little bit sing in your head, like
- 51:40Speaker 2: do that vibe.
- 51:40Speaker 1: And then there's just this big behemoth of a bloke. Okay,
- 51:44Speaker 1: here's the thing. So she's she's obviously very friendly by nature.
- 51:49Speaker 1: I think maybe that is what makes these dudes feel
- 51:57Speaker 1: as though they do have a chance. Right. I'm not
- 52:00Speaker 1: saying that that's right. You should be able to just
- 52:03Speaker 1: be yourself and be able to tell people I'm not
- 52:04Speaker 1: looking for anything and that they just accept that, right,
- 52:08Speaker 1: But a little bit of rudeness.
- 52:12Speaker 2: I was going to say, practice that resting bitch face.
- 52:15Speaker 1: Yeah, you must be the friendliest looking person. Just looks
- 52:20Speaker 1: so approachable. Yeah, how do because I've been told I'm
- 52:25Speaker 1: not very I look like I'm angry all the time. Okay,
- 52:27Speaker 1: let's just say you're her and you're working out, okay,
- 52:32Speaker 1: and I'm a dude, and I'm feeling I really I
- 52:35Speaker 1: want to approach you, okay, And so you're working out.
- 52:37Speaker 1: Maybe I'm trying to catch you in between sets and
- 52:39Speaker 1: kind of which is also gem Etticuett by the way,
- 52:42Speaker 1: terrible on between sets. You're between sets and I'm going
- 52:44Speaker 1: to come over, and what should I say? I want
- 52:46Speaker 1: to say? So I think it's okay, O listen some
- 52:50Speaker 1: beads and dancing, drinking some water. Who the fuck makes
- 52:52Speaker 1: that much a noise in between sets? You're crazy person.
- 52:55Speaker 1: I'm thinking for the listeners, the audio listeners, well, I
- 52:57Speaker 1: kind of s okay city and normally, like an am,
- 53:00Speaker 1: I'm just going to be silent. You know what, you
- 53:03Speaker 1: wouldn't know if you just an audio listen, you would
- 53:05Speaker 1: know I was working okay, fair well, they do, just
- 53:08Speaker 1: we just told him that I didn't. I'm doing some cardio.
- 53:13Speaker 1: I just finished on the stairs and I'm sweating. Okay, ready,
- 53:16Speaker 1: here we go, here, here, here we go. You're drinking,
- 53:20Speaker 1: I'm walking, Okay, come over. I was a bit of
- 53:24Speaker 1: an intense stairs session. How was it? Oh? Yeah, hard?
- 53:28Speaker 1: Stairs always is. Honestly, I hate it. Mate, couldn't catch
- 53:31Speaker 1: me doing stairs longer than five minutes. Just a warm
- 53:33Speaker 1: up for me. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyways, I'm off now anyway,
- 53:41Speaker 1: have a good name. Sorry, my natural instinct that'd be fair.
- 53:45Speaker 1: That's what she should do. That's what I do at
- 53:47Speaker 1: the gym because like like that happens with like males,
- 53:49Speaker 1: like my mates come up to me and they're like, oh,
- 53:52Speaker 1: what are you hitting? I was like, this chance, anyway
- 53:53Speaker 1: I've done Honestly, that's what she should do. Yeah, my
- 53:56Speaker 1: natural instincts took over, were we'll go back to her.
- 53:59Speaker 1: I've got to say. I think that's a good help. Okay,
- 54:01Speaker 1: good you can shut shit down quick. Yeah, I gotta
- 54:03Speaker 1: go anywhere I go. What happens if you don't have
- 54:05Speaker 1: to go. That's at the end of a session mids okay,
- 54:08Speaker 1: a midst mid session, okay, if you okay, here's the
- 54:10Speaker 1: thing is, I don't actually know. Let's say same scenario
- 54:13Speaker 1: and you said I, I'm off to finish my workout, right, yeah,
- 54:16Speaker 1: and they go Okay, I don't know actually what to
- 54:19Speaker 1: do next if he doesn't get that message true as
- 54:22Speaker 1: a guy, like if you said oh, like, oh, you're
- 54:25Speaker 1: looking good, and you're like, yeah, yeah, I've got to
- 54:26Speaker 1: get back to it.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, like gotta go on the rest of it.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Because I could I myself the amount of courage that
- 54:32Speaker 1: would have had to be built up to go say
- 54:34Speaker 1: to someone, how was that stare session. I don't know
- 54:37Speaker 1: if anyone would do that, by the way, but would
- 54:40Speaker 1: make it so if you did say, oh, I'm off
- 54:42Speaker 1: to finish my workout, I would never talk to you
- 54:43Speaker 1: ever again. Yeah, hundred percent. So I think the takeaway
- 54:47Speaker 1: from that is I don't think it's too confronting for
- 54:49Speaker 1: you to reject him with saying things without open ended questions,
- 54:52Speaker 1: so factual things where he can't ask any more question.
- 54:55Speaker 1: Here's the thing, though, is the way that you did that, right,
- 54:57Speaker 1: so you're let's say you were going home, I'm off
- 54:59Speaker 1: to now yeah, is the might There's probably guys out
- 55:03Speaker 1: there that aren't afraid to say, oh, you're a bit rude?
- 55:04Speaker 1: Aren't you? Trying to get her to stay in the
- 55:06Speaker 1: conversation and maybe apologize. Oh yeah, that'd say something, probably
- 55:09Speaker 1: have this little game that's a bit short. Yeah, something short. No,
- 55:12Speaker 1: you're a bit rude, aren't you? I think some dudes.
- 55:14Speaker 1: And then she's going to say, either follow through with
- 55:17Speaker 1: the rudeness and he'll take his loss, or it might
- 55:19Speaker 1: be confronting for her because she's not actually a rude
- 55:21Speaker 1: person and she's nice by nature and doesn't want to
- 55:25Speaker 1: be thought of as rude. So then she does apologie
- 55:26Speaker 1: and say, oh, sorry, I'm just I'm just tired. I
- 55:28Speaker 1: didn't mean to be rude to you. So down the O.
- 55:30Speaker 1: This guy's thinking hook line and sinker. I've got her.
- 55:33Speaker 1: So what do you do? I actually don't know. So
- 55:36Speaker 1: I was going to say what I initially did is
- 55:39Speaker 1: a manageable step. But if this guy's pushing too much,
- 55:42Speaker 1: I'm a little bit stumped, which a lot of guys
- 55:43Speaker 1: would be, and that's when they become scary because like
- 55:46Speaker 1: they can't take no for an answer. So I don't know,
- 55:49Speaker 1: do you reckon?
- 55:50Speaker 2: What's something that isn't confronted the public.
- 55:52Speaker 1: Place could be okay to be rude. What do you
- 55:57Speaker 1: reckon just saying I have a boyfriend? True?
- 56:02Speaker 2: Like what I'm trying to think? What's not confronting for
- 56:04Speaker 2: someone to say okay with the boyfriend thing too. It's
- 56:06Speaker 2: good because if it's someone that you you know, you
- 56:11Speaker 2: don't have to be rude. Then you can start off
- 56:13Speaker 2: being yourself and being super polite. And then once they
- 56:17Speaker 2: do say you know, oh how about maybe you let
- 56:19Speaker 2: me take you out for a drink?
- 56:19Speaker 1: And then you say I'm I have a boyfriend I've
- 56:21Speaker 1: always actually wanted. You know how if someone says us
- 56:25Speaker 1: for your number and you say, I'm sorry I have
- 56:26Speaker 1: a girlfriend. Yeah, you're not supposed to say I'm sorry
- 56:28Speaker 1: because I'm not sorry that I have a girlfriend. Yeah,
- 56:31Speaker 1: so what do you say just I have a girlfriend?
- 56:33Speaker 1: We're the same person. I've got this for the next
- 56:35Speaker 1: stimulated episode. I thought, Shit, you're not meant to say
- 56:43Speaker 1: I'm sorry just like I've got a girlfriend, I've got
- 56:44Speaker 1: a boyfriend, because you don't need to be sorry. And
- 56:47Speaker 1: then because again I'm actually I'm not sorry that I
- 56:50Speaker 1: have a girlfriend. And I'm also, to be honest, I'm
- 56:54Speaker 1: not sorry that you send me embarrass yourself I'm proud
- 56:56Speaker 1: of you for working up the coach to come say something.
- 56:58Speaker 1: You'd be like, I'm in a happy relationship. Yeah, sorry,
- 57:04Speaker 1: you're not. No, just saying so, I think you're gotta
- 57:11Speaker 1: stop pretending you have a boyfriend.
- 57:12Speaker 2: Maybe so step step one is not open ended questions,
- 57:16Speaker 2: so just being really blunt like, oh yeah, yeah, thanks,
- 57:18Speaker 2: it was good work. I've got to go anywhere I
- 57:19Speaker 2: got around all like, oh yeah, I've bout to do
- 57:20Speaker 2: the rest of myself. I've got to get to work
- 57:21Speaker 2: something like that. Yeah, which is still being polite, not
- 57:24Speaker 2: that confronting, I hope. And then round two of his
- 57:26Speaker 2: persistent just be like, I'm in a happy relationship, man,
- 57:30Speaker 2: Just sorry, leave me alone.
- 57:32Speaker 1: I mean, I think that's the best way to go.
- 57:33Speaker 1: I can't say let me alone. That's confronting. But you're like,
- 57:35Speaker 1: I've got a boyfriend. Yeah, yeah, I from what I
- 57:39Speaker 1: can gather, I'll tell you out of my brain. Another
- 57:41Speaker 1: another tip I use it like festivals of people I
- 57:44Speaker 1: don't want to talk to, is I gotta go to toilet,
- 57:47Speaker 1: Like it's just like if he comes over and he's
- 57:49Speaker 1: just like asking questions, Oh, I just got to go
- 57:51Speaker 1: to the bathroom. Sorry, and then that's that's an easy out,
- 57:55Speaker 1: not a long term out, but I always use that
- 57:56Speaker 1: one and then hopefully you don't run into him again.
- 57:58Speaker 1: It's a bit different than the gym, but maybe a
- 57:59Speaker 1: public exciting or anything like that, and practice the rest
- 58:02Speaker 1: resting bitch face. That's a just go on. The resting
- 58:04Speaker 1: bitch face is actual probably a great thing to have
- 58:07Speaker 1: go in the mirror when you go to the gym, like,
- 58:08Speaker 1: have some happy beats on them, and just in your
- 58:10Speaker 1: head you just be like, what's some angry shit on? Yeah?
- 58:14Speaker 2: I feel bad that, like in society that's become normalized
- 58:19Speaker 2: for someone to be like not take.
- 58:21Speaker 1: No for an answer. Yeah, Like, but I don't know
- 58:23Speaker 1: why we were brought up differently, because if we, like
- 58:25Speaker 1: ever had the courage not to come up with someone
- 58:27Speaker 1: in person, but if like I don't know a DM,
- 58:28Speaker 1: I someone and that didn't seem interested. But yeah, well
- 58:30Speaker 1: I'm not welcome here. I'm gonna move on, dude. I
- 58:35Speaker 1: just you know what's crazy is that it is just
- 58:38Speaker 1: that simple. Yeah, But for some reason, it's not only
- 58:42Speaker 1: no friends who were like persistent true guys think no
- 58:46Speaker 1: means maybe where no means no. Yeah, no, facts couldn't
- 58:49Speaker 1: agree more. Maybe really hope that you can maybe like
- 58:52Speaker 1: that's this one's too confronting. But you could say, like,
- 58:54Speaker 1: man like take no for an answer. True, that's too confronting,
- 58:58Speaker 1: but that's like that's the thing is like confronting is
- 59:01Speaker 1: sounds like the way to go. But it's hard to
- 59:04Speaker 1: put myself in her shoes and actually think of saying
- 59:07Speaker 1: that to a guy, because when I'm saying do the
- 59:11Speaker 1: confronting thing, I'm thinking that they're saying it to me.
- 59:15Speaker 1: If I've gone up to someone and they have been
- 59:19Speaker 1: blunt with me and I've decided to try and keep
- 59:21Speaker 1: it going, and then they say, dude, take no for
- 59:23Speaker 1: an answer. Me, that would be one hundred percent last straw.
- 59:28Speaker 1: That would be in sid. I wouldn't even let it
- 59:30Speaker 1: get that far, you know what I mean. Logically it
- 59:32Speaker 1: has to be yeah, straw. So I think it's hard
- 59:35Speaker 1: for me to even, yeah, relate.
- 59:38Speaker 2: You can't fathom someone not taking no for an.
- 59:40Speaker 1: Answer, Yeah, because I don't know what I would do
- 59:42Speaker 1: to persist. Yeah, it's sort of like not being able
- 59:44Speaker 1: to read the room, Like how can you not understand
- 59:46Speaker 1: she's uncomfortable? I just don't know I would have say, sorry,
- 59:50Speaker 1: you have to deal with that, because I want to
- 59:51Speaker 1: be with someone that wants to be with me. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 59:54Speaker 1: I don't want to convince you to be with me.
- 59:55Speaker 1: Yeah exactly. I don't want to Yeah, I don't want
- 59:57Speaker 1: to swindle you. Yeah, yea, even though I don't know,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: I have no idea. I'm sorry. I think what we've
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: said is probably about the best advice I could give.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: There was a couple of good tips in there. Wrestling
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: bitch face. Really practice it. I have to say, like, like,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: not that I can relate to this problem at all,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: but I've been told I'm not very approachable because it
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: looks like I'm angry all the time. So it does work.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Like some people say, like like is Ali like does
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: he like me? Like, oh yeah, stunt, but I just
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: don't look like I'm so practice that it's a skill
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: and I do it unconsciously, which is lucky. Yeah, some
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: people maybe, yes, some people say I don't want a
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: resting bitch face, but hey, grass is always greener.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: There's a time and a place and a place, all right, everybody,
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: thank you very much for listening. Jake, were asking for
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: some advice or to sign off the episode.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Sign off the episode. You know what to do if
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: you want to get joined in and sign off the episode.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: It is in the link of this video and also
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: the link on Instagram at them and it says sign
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: off episode with Jake's face. Actually, let's call Amy a.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: We also got a new phone so we can call
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: the women actual number, so hopefully they pick up. That's
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: not no caller idea. Hi, it's Aim speaking Hi Amy,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: It's Audi and Jake from the Relatables podcast. How are
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: you going? Oh good? How are you? Yeah? Really good?
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: What to say? Thank you for picking up?
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: We would like to ask could you please sign off
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: the episode or give some advice or spit a fact
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: or just say stay bad if you want.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: I was thinking about this today. Okay. My advice is
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: that if they if you want them to.
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: Change, they have to realize it first, and they.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Have to put in the work. You can't just hope
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: they're going to change. They actually have to realize themselves
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: and then they're going to make a difference. I was
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: thinking about this in my walk today. Oh my gosh,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: love is never a waste. Say it again, I missed it.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: Love is never a waste? Oh ay, we called the
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: right person. You guys are amazing favorite podcast. Thank you very much, Amy,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Enjoy the rest of your day. Stay bad, Bye bye.
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: That was text book needs. Are getting good, guys. That
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: was crazy that she was thinking about.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a sign from the world. It is.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: We called the right person. Stay bad. See ya.
